Matt found a great Wordpress Template, steered us through using Wordpress, youtube and SoundCloud, and spent an hour teaching me how to maintain the site, jonhatchett (dot) com as a living, working site. When we put up some incorrect content, he replaced it without question. A fine experience.

Spruced Up Tree: Absolutely horrible customer service, poor communication, lots of empty promises and excuses, missed deadlines (that they set themselves btw). I was treated like I was a nuisance and extremely unimportant during the entire 5 month process. There is so much to complain about I could write an essay, but I will try to keep it short;I came to Yelling Mule because my website had issues with the code, a spammy contact form and it was not easy for me to edit, so I had them put it into a wordpress site, since I was told this would solve all these issues.I waited for 4 MONTHS before they finally threw some half finished stuff into wordpress. (after numerous emails to me saying “ we will get it up this Tuesday or Wednesday” and then I would hear absolutely nothing from them for weeks afterwords).On launch day they announced that they “were ready to launch that day” on Friday, I heard nothing from them until the following Monday and I got another email from them saying that they were ready to launch that day and still after that email, nothing happened until I was notified that they needed to receive my final payment until the site could be put up. So I mailed them a check (regrettably) and it got put up after it cleared. And it went live with tons of issues: the galleries were a mess, the contact form wasn't submitting, and then when that was fixed Spam was coming through within a week, and I didn’t even get a full sitemap, because that would cost extra!? So many things that should just be included with good customer service were left out and I am left to pick up the pieces while now my business is suffering from the lack of traffic from this setback and a HUGE waste of money. Lastly, their “30 day support “is a joke since they won’t return your calls or emails once they have received their payment, unless you harass them like a crazy person and thats because they have driven you insane and you were used! DO NOT RECOMMENDUPDATE: Instead of calling or emailing me because I posted this review, Matt actually went to my business page on Yelp and wrote a bad review of my business! Except you can't write a review if you haven't received my service, so thankfully Yelp removed it. This just proves how immature and unprofessional these folks are, seeking revenge? seriously!? All I can do is laugh. Wow.

Dave Colangeli: What a disaster. If you're a fan of dishonesty, incompetence, poor communication, and waiting, waiting, waiting, and waiting some more, then James Shiner and Yelling Mule are for you. Not to mention excuse after excuse after excuse, ad nauseam.In short I hired James in Oct 2013 to do a job that was estimated to take 81 hours. This means if he averaged something like 3 hours a day, the job would have been done in 27 work days. Instead, after 4 months, only 75% of the work was done and much of that had major technical problems and glitches. I'll spare you all of the tedious details (though I may post them elsewhere). Except to say that even though I was paid up in full, after 4 months I couldn't take it anymore and locked him out of the hosting account.In Jan 2015, on my fourth trip to the Lawrence Courthouse, I finally had my day in small claims court with James Shiner and Yelling Mule. James agreed to pay me $2,100 by certified bank check. Instead of the usual 30 days he asked if he could have 45 days and I agreed. The 45 days came and went. James never sent me that bank check. It never ends with this guy.
