Lookout Rooftop and Bar: what do users think?
David Previti: Fun atmosphere
Chris Bravo: I Broke up with my GF there. That sucked . But the services was awesome sauce!
Deyvid Rocha: Chris M, the bartender, the most funny and amazing guy at this place! Amazing views, amazing drinks! Always a good time here!
Ty H.: Probably my favorite rooftop spot in the City.☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️
Andrew B: Great views
nicholas kaffl: Save your $$$$. We were in town for a family event and reserved a roof top igloo which turned out to actually be an enclosed glass room. Although it has a nice view of the city, its way overprice for what they offer. Even the bar is at best average.
Yeri Taveras: I loved the place, I had a great time, for me it was a good time but it's only for drinks and some snacks, not for dinner.
Jeffrey Cabrera: Amazing view of the city at night, great selection of lounges to reserve, (Fire pit was warm and cozy even under windy circumstances), and 10$ drinks to 20$ cocktails. Food was fairly priced, sliders were delicious! Kayla had great sprints, good laughs and very attentive. PS… be careful not to burn your menu in the firepit.
Arnav Jain: Amazing place. Beautiful view of Boston Harbor
Lolita L: Nice views! The staff are friendly and helpful,
Christopher V: Come here for the view and the apps. The cocktails are okay. Overall, it is hard to recommend the Lookout with the okay cocktails for the exorbitant prices they are charging and little atmosphere. There are other options with good views and a better atmosphere nearby.
William Follett: Too noisy, nice view
Shaday Williams: Very poor service
toni dankova: The rooftop Lookout is not kids friendly, they are not letting us inside, becauce we have kid with us. There was a lot of space but stil...
Antonia Ortiz-Grace: Awesome view and great atmosphere
Jocelyn Boucher: Nice experience. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The truffle fries were my favorite.
Nathalie M0202: Entrée libre, pas besoin de réserver. Magnifique vue sur downtown et barman au top. Très belle adresse
Jack Kollars: Really good lobster rolls
Ruth Akierman: Great spot for after work or pre-dinner cocktail. Views are beautiful. And they do have warming lamps to help out on a cold day.
eliza gil: My partner surprised me to this place and safe to say it's one of those experiences where I wouldn't come again. It was nice don't get me wrong but i don't get the hype. I can however see coming here with a group can be fun if you want a nice view and just appetizers and drinks. The fries where the best part. Also I'm a vegetarian so the selection was like two items for the food.
Jeet Trivedi: Cool place to Hangout with friends and with a good view had fun time during new year’s eve.

I wish I had a spoon or something to appreciate every single drop of broath if it 😁I come here irregularly since 2017, never regret 🍺
Rachel McIntosh: Live piano, yummy drinks, and delicious food. They were very accommodating to my gluten and dairy allergy. Service was pleasant and knowledgeable but a bit slow due to the heavy crowd.Dietary restrictions: Great for people with allergies.
Nikoloz Gogilidze: I would have rated this place 5 but unfortunately I tried their whisky sour. Excellent atmosphere, excellent service and great live music. But worst whisky sour ever. Alex V: Walked into a great atmosphere after an influx of customers from the Celtics game and it didn't phase the staff at all. From the host to the server, dead on welcoming and professional. And the hot lobster roll, sweet potato waffle skillet, and the greens with pomengranite vinigraitte, all worth the wait. Perfect taste, texture, and complimentary to the outstanding beer and spirits offered. Definitely be back.

Emily Brie Equi: Came here twice on our visit to Boston! The oysters were delicious! The old fashion (or elderfashion) was wonderful, especially smoked. The crab encrusted cod was one of the best cod dishes I’ve ever had had (and that’s from someone visiting from Seattle aka the land of Cod).
Yorleny Posada: This place is great! Catherine at the bar is the best, she was really nice and helpful, made suggestions on the menu and recommend us seasonal cocktails. We love it, great service and drinks, good music, nice environment. Definitely going back!
Gabriella De La Cerda-Lim: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More

Twitchy: Good place for late night food in downtown Boston. Arriving on a late flight into Boston, there's not a lot of full service restaurant options in the downtown area after 9 pm. At Bostonia Public House we had the hot lobster roll, pasta vongole and fish & chips. The food and service were very good. As an fyi, it does get pretty noisy once the live entertainment starts.

Edoardo Carmazzi: Great atmosphere and remarkable staff. The bartender was very professional and gave me great tips about my staying in Boston
Ivan Corona: I was in Boston for a business trip and couldn’t decide on what to have for dinner. I headed downtown and started walking around to see if I could find something. I see this really nice building and decide to go inside and ask to see their menu. I had a delicious salad with a side of mash potato. This was late at night so I was the only person eating that late, most people were having a drink at the bar. Regardless, it was a nice little restaurant and the food was great.
Carla D'avanzo: Perfect iconic bar in downtown. Celebrated becoming a US citizen there. Service great very flexible with a big group
Fraz Ahmed: Small cozy bar, near Boston Commons and right behind the State House. Great bar service, small intimate dining section, and awesome Fish and Chips. The buffalo tenders are excellent as well.
Casey Harmon: Amazing Bloody Mary, amazing staff and atmosphere
Jenna Slagle: Great service, great Bloody Mary, great Boston recommendations, great bar
Maria C: Buen ambiente y precios normales
Jaye Aster Broder: Nice chill bar with seating for food. The ceilings are somewhat low. It gets crowded with people stopping briefly to break up the freedom trail.
Greg Simoneau: You know for a Tuesday pretty nice atmosphere and vibe. Staff seemed pretty chill and would recommend for after dinner drinks. Left our nasty waitress at another place down the street for something more relaxing.
Matt Sawchuk: Do yourself a favor and make some time to visit. Excellent food, compelling individuals that keep you engaged with conversation throughout the night, and top notch drink service from the incredible staff! I will now plan my trips around this place.
Shea Hassett: Heard about this place through friends, and it's so great! They have awesome picnic tables in the summer which makes it a great place to get a drink outside. Great food too!
Clare Bishop: Absolutely love this place!!!!! Such a great after work spot!
Peter Phillips: Love this place! We found 21st while looking for bars in close proximity to Boston Common and The Freedom Trail, and we lucked out! This cool little bar has so much history in Boston, and is a local haunt for the State House employees. The food is fantastic, most notably the sliders, 21st burger and pizza. Really nice craft beer selection, and the service was awesome. If you come, try and snag a bar seat and meet some of the regulars, they are quite an interesting bunch! We’ll be back!
Felix Eric Ramos: Peter and the team are incredibly hospitable. This is the old school Boston pub scene that’s must-visit if you’re visiting town. The food is great and very generous…get the nachos. It can feed a family of 20 (almost). Highly recommend such a warm, hospitable, centrally-located spot.

Drink: what do users think?
Karina: Asked to be surprised with a whiskey based drink, got a whiskey sour. So innovative 🤦‍♀️
Devdav Newar: This is place was recommended by a lot of people and we were finally able to get a spot. You need to come in early and wait in line to get in but its all worth the wait. The concept of this place is great. A bartender asks you the alcohol base and flavours you like and then he works his magic and mixes an amazing cocktail. There is no menu so you can ask for anything. We were 5 people and everyone gave their own wish list for the bartender to work his magic. Our favourite was this vodka and saffron based drink that he made and it was one of the best cocktails I have had ever. The other ones were also great. There was nothing that we did not like. They have a small menu for food as well. We got the fries and churros to go along with the drinks and its the best combination ever. Its a great place for a night out.
Sara Ansari: The bartenders here are gifted. There’s no drink menu, you tell them what you want and they make their concoction. Say what you want - vodka, lime, agave, whatever - and the drinks they make are unbelievable. And if you don’t know what you want and say something like a dirty martini, it still comes out better than any other place.
Bert Thurlo-Walsh: We came tonight and requested a specific bartender (gentleman with beard) and the response from the bartender was less than respectful. When asked for drinks we were met with facial disdain and attitude. The response about our request was to go elsewhere. Well, we did and will NEVER return or recommend Drink again. Barbara Lynch prides herself on quality and this was much less than that…rather unfortunate. Our friends said it had gone downhill and we felt that was not true; however, they were correct. We cannot and will not recommend Drink!!! We have been to other restaurants of Barbara Lynch’s and the treatment and attitude was unwelcome at Drink.
Courtney Klein: I love this place!!! Luke made my friend and I the best drinks we’ve ever had in our lives 🤩 will definitely be going back!
Mika: Very cool experience! Waited about 10 minutes in line on a Friday night to get in. The atmosphere was very nice. The experience of explaining what kinds of flavors/liquors you like then getting a customized drink was very unique and fun! The bartender was professional and knowledgeable. Admittedly, the drinks were not my favorite, but they were so different and quirky that they felt specially designed for me.
Jim Ratliff: Over crowded. Over loud. Over priced. Long wait at 4:30 pm on a Saturday. No seating available, had to stand. Decent custom $20 cocktails.
Alexandros Zervos: Service is way too slow despite the good drinks.
Emily Hamman: Super cool experience at Drink! The bartender, Frederic, had a great personality and his extensive knowledge on drinks was crazy. We had to wait over an hour to get in (arrived at about 8 PM on a Saturday) but it was worth it! Drinks were awesome.Updating my review:Came back here when I had guests in town. Another great experience - didn’t have to wait at all on a Thursday evening, drinks & food were great. Churros were tasty but the chocolate sauce they were served with was weird with them. Fries were really good and large. My guests said it may be the best espresso martinis they’ve had!
Yehonatan Meshali: Nice place,The concept is so cool! They will ask you what kind of tastes you like and creat the perfect drink
Joseph Doyle: Great drinks. Had two very different and very excellent riffs on an old fashioned. Also great burgers and fries. Looking forward to coming back.
Raj Sheth: Such a fun spot.I'll always love a bar where creativity is king. Hunter was our bartender and he was fantastic. Making drinks based on flavor profiles is hard and he really just hit the nail on the head with a lot of his drinks. The biggest winner was definitely our last drink, he made a bananas foster kind of espresso martini - it was amazing,
Sarah: Overall a really fun and different experience than your typical bar. I was with a group of 6 and we were invited in to standing room only and then moved (by the staff) to stools when seating became available thus changing the bartender who was serving us. Our new bartended ignored us to the point it was comical with others around us acknowledging that we were addressing him to no avail. When we finally got his attention to order he would only listen to one person before turning away and hearing the rest of our orders. At one point one of us ordered and then he took and made multiple orders of others. We waited to so long for this drink that we had to tell him not to make it because we had to leave for a dinner reservation. When we got our bill, we were charged for one extra drink. I addressed this with the bartender and he was unwilling to help. Granted, we switch bartenders in the middle of our visit so it’s understandable that a mistake happened but he simply insisted that he made us 2 drinks and that was our bill. Pretty infuriating given the price of the drinks and the automatically added 20% tip. I think the bar itself has amazing potential, but please address the downright rude employee who was working in the large center bar on the side furthest from the door on the night on 3/8.
Jonah Weitzel: Different concept
Roberto Cibrian: Fantastic experience with great drinks an food. Line can be long but it is totally worth it.
R: I was so excited to bring my wife to my favorite bar in Boston, Drink, for her birthday. We got to the place and waited in line for about an hour, but I assured her it would be worth it. We eventually made it in, 30 minutes later, someone came by with water and asked us for our drink preferences. He made us a drink each and then left. We were there for 3 more hours and no one even looked in our direction, let alone asked us if we would like another drink or even to close out our tab. They were, however, extremely friendly with the groups around us - to the left and right of us- joking around, refilling their waters, others were even on their 3rd or 4th round. It honestly felt like they were avoiding us the entire night. No one acknowledged us at all. I've never felt so unwelcome before.I will not be coming back here. The idea was fun but the service was extremely unwelcoming and definitely not worth the $32 I paid for 2 drinks. This experience seems consistent with other 1 star reviews.
Mike DeLuise: Apparently Sportello and Drink have the same ownership, one could not tell from the experiences we had. The waitress at Sportello was fantastic and offered to get us into Drink downstairs. As soon as we entered Drink, we went to the bar to order a …. drink. The bartenders basically told us to F off. So we left and will never return.
Sara Wolfe: We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Drink. Our party of three waited about 15-20 minutes on a Saturday night around 7. Completely worth it. Roberto took care of us and was amazing. He was so friendly and really helped make our experience. We loved each drink, and they really did seem tailored to whatever we asked for. The fries were also killer. Highly recommend!
John Beebe: Took my girlfriend for a couple drinks before dinner. It’s impossible not to have a good time here. This was the best spot to start the night. In fact, we had such a great time, we returned for a nightcap. Staff is unbelievably awesome - Thanks, Alan!
Tom McManus: Potentially the best cocktail bar in Boston. This place is carefully staffed with fantastic, highly creative mixologists. The drinks are outrageously good and there are some decent food options. The line can get really long so plan to come early.
John Wiesemann: Food options are much better than they were before 2020. Drink options are great as always, it's fun to play the game and explore new drinks with the bartenders.

Toro: what do users think?
Ida Li: Heard about this restaurant from a friend! Great place for having conversations over a light meal and some drinks.Food overall was delicious. Portion size are small particularly because it's a Spanish tapa style meant to be shared amongst the table.Atmosphere was beautiful. I highly recommend getting a seat outdoors for the summer. It's much roomier and comfortable. You can definitely also go in the winter but it'll be really cold! It's a bit on the pricier side but it's a nice treat.
Owen Tredennick: Asado de Huesos was one of the best things I have ever tasted. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, so mix it up!Will be back again and again…and again.
Caitlin McPheron: Authentic Spanish tapas style restaurant. They offer Iberian ham, manchego cheese, bocadillos among other Spanish staples. Great Spanish wine selection as well. We ordered asado de huesos, jamón ibérico, queso de cabra, and maíz asado for two people and it was plenty. Service was great and atmosphere was cozy. Highly recommend.
Dustin Maneethai: Excellent tapas served fresh. The paella was definitely a star but it's quite filling. For two I would recommend the paella and perhaps 3 tapas dishes. The service was excellent. Cristian Suarez: Because of how good the tapas was, I’m giving it a four star. But considering how low-key trash the drinks were, I’d give it a limp 3 star. Fun atmosphere though.
Chingsung Chang: Tables are a bit small. Food is good, but be prepared to spend a decent amount. Overall I do think it is a bit on the pricier side, but there's enough on the menu that's unique. The paella was a tad disappointing though, especially for a Spanish placeFood: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Patatas Bravas Fried …More
Jing Wu: Worst Manager!!! Waitlist shows around 45 minutes, but We have waited for 90 mins with no calls or messages. When we asked them, they said they had sent the message, which we didn’t receive it. The solution from manager is waiting another 120 minutes. The most ridiculous solution ever heard.
Alejandra Ortiz: We shared 4 plates: mushrooms with the egg, shishito peppers, shrimps, churros and flan. Everything was good and the choice of drinks and cocktails too. chad svastisalee: Toro is uniquely located on Washington Street in the South End. One thing to know... fresh tapas are always A-Mazing and sharing with your family and besties make meals memorable. Just eating Spanish food because you know it’s delicious is a treat in itself. Toro is a must place to check out. The best way to tapas is to order a little bit of everything, and if you come across something you don’t love, that’s ok. Toro customized our menus with our son's name and boy was he surprised! Sit in their heated outdoor patio or inside the bustling hot spot and you'll be in good hands either way. Don’t let the crowd or wait for a table ruin the whole experience. The local beer selection is good, paired well with our tapas. We started with batatas bravas, calamari with shishito peppers and a well thought charcuterie board to start. Every pinxtos was delicious. Ostros Escabeche, island creek Oysters we're swimming in flavor and although we thought the Empanadas were a bit over fried, they were still tasty inside. We shared two rounds of Risotto de Longostos, it was devine and our boys favorite. The attention to detail to seasoning, plating and staff are on point at Toro.
amora nadia: Plenty vegan optionsRecommended dishes Churros Chocolate Sauce, Corn on the Cob …More

Ignacio Perez: Barcelona definitely has the best Spanish wine selection in Boston. The food is good but still a little manufactured, especially in the case of the croquetas which sometimes come out still cold in the middle. The paella is not the most authentic but definitely tastyRecommended dishes Blistered Shishito Peppers, Charcuterie Board, Patatas Bravas, Gambas Al Ajillo …More
Cami Tussie: Vibe/ambiance of this place is incredible. A fantastic date night kind of place. Favorites were the mushroom, eggplant, and scallops. Basque cheesecake was definitely not as sweet as a NY style, though the texture was amazing. It was my first time trying basque cheesecake and it was not even close to sweet enough for me, wouldn’t order again, but get it if you like desserts that aren’t as sweet!
Nicholas Manning: If you’ve not had real tapas in Spain or do not have decent taste, this place should be fine for you, if not, then I would avoid the food and just try the wine. Fun atmosphere though.
Sarah Robertson: Refusing to serve me a drink because my ID was expired. Showed multiple other forms of ID and still refused. Was told by manager that teens frequent the South End Barcelona using fake IDs. I am 26 years old as stated on my ID not 16. Extremely poor customer service from bartenders.

Rebecca Jennings: At Barcelona and it has been amazing. I visit the Atlanta location often but they do not have Elizabeth. Found out that the company trained her for a Manager role and I think it was the best decision they could have made. She should write a book on the service industry and how to do it right. I am thankful for the experience and her time at this location.
Jorge Santos: Had dinner at Barcelona for the last night of my business trip and I'm so glad we did. We all shared several tapas and everything was amazing. Our server was extremely attentive and helpful, highly recommended.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options available and the ones we tried were delicious
Brian B: Great vibe. Seasoning needs work.

City Tap House Boston: what do users think?
C S: Super underwhelming plates. Salad was underwhelming tremendously and so it was the burger and fries. Portions were very small. OK place for a quick bite.
Philip Kurle: I stopped in for a quick lunch. I ate at the bar. I had a really good Italian salad. I also had roughly 4 really excellent local IPAs. Those may possibly have offset the otherwise healthy salad, just a little. Excellent service. No complaints. Not too far to walk from the Convention Center, which is where I happen to be.
Ashley Lucia Bermudez: Horrible customer service. We were treated quite horrible. My husband ordered a pizza at the bar and brought it back to our table outside and the bartender was extremely rude towards him. She didn’t let him eat it, grabbed the plate of the table! My husband tried to talk to the manager and him too was so rude and unfair.Horrible experience…
Nathan McNamara: Venue is great. Excellent music and great selection of beers and drinks. Unfortunately the service is lacking significantly. Sat down and server eventually came to take our drinks order and we noted we might want food later. We never received any further table service and had to go to the bar to order subsequent rounds. Service at the bar was dismissive. When we went to order food a few hours later we were told the kitchen had closed 3 minutes prior, with no notice given to patrons. When we tried to close out, we had to wait for service while bar staff stood in front of us on their cell phones. Disappointing service all round for a bar with great potential.
Timothy Oliver: Great local bar/restaurant. It was a nice stop for drinks after dinner. Not too loud and a nice atmosphere
Machata Memoa: Went fir brunch the food was really good ,are server was great friendly and helpful drinks were also great
Tripp Shenton: Went to City Tap on the Saturday before the Boston Marathon - the place was hopping. We were told it was a 45 min wait for a table for two, but got 2 seats at the bar in about 10. They have about 40 taps with a real good selection of macro and craft beers - which includes a good mix of locals. You name your style and they will have something for you. We had a margarita pizza and tuna tartar tacos. The pizza was tasty. The tacos - while small were VERY good. The tuna was fresh, the shells nice and crunchy, and they came with an awesome aioli. Definitely worth a visit.
Byron Broussard: Brick Oven Pizza and 10 Spice Wings were very good. We will be back to sample more from the menu and the large variety of beers and bourbons.
Jake Andrews: One of the best places in the Seaport. If you’re looking for good food, good vibes and sick of all of the steak house chains. This is 100% the spot to go! We’ve lived in The Seaport for 3 years and probably go once a week.
James Brooks: Great food!
Kos Barsukov: I recently visited this brew pub and while the staff were friendly and accommodating, the management was simply terrible. It's a shame because the staff did their best to make up for the shortcomings of the management, but unfortunately, they couldn't overcome all the problems we encountered. The biggest issue was the long wait time for food and drinks. Despite the efforts of the staff to keep us informed, it was clear that the kitchen was understaffed and the bar was poorly managed. Our orders were often mixed up or forgotten altogether. To make matters worse, the prices were inflated and did not reflect the quality of the food and drinks we received. It was clear that the management was more interested in making a quick buck than providing a quality experience for their customers. The atmosphere was also lacking. The music was too loud and not to everyone's taste, and the lighting was harsh and uninviting.Overall, while the staff were nice, the poor management really let this brew pub down. I would not recommend this place unless they make significant changes to their management practices.
Noah Hilbert: Host was nice and polite when we arrived, but it was downhill from there. As most of the reviews state, the place is just OK for just drinks, but go somewhere with actual good food for a meal. The manager turned out to be super rude, and staff are slow. Food was beyond gross and inedible. I have been here a few times over the years since they opened, and it's clearly declining in quality & service.
Elizabeth Grunewald: Delicious food, great and attentive service.
David Morse: Great vibe. Excellent selection of craft beers. Elevated bar food.
Lydia Mikhaylyants: Careful with gluten free menu, I ordered a gluten free item given an allergy and received a non-modified item. Verified with staff and they assured me that it was gluten free, when it was not.
Alex M: Loved their veggie burger and drinks. Very friendly staff. Super easy to pay with your phone.
Deepak Patil: Went there with colleagues after work. Appetizers were great. Pretzels were the best. We tried Nashville hot cauliflower, street corn, Mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts and all of them were great. Entrees were little underwhelming but not bad. I don’t drink so can’t speak for drinks but my coworkers enjoyed the drinks. We tried cookie dough smash for desert and it was amazing. Very casual place and ton is seating. Very courteous staff. It got little loud during evening but that’s common for most of bars and restaurants.
Jason Simons: Food was subpar, and prices weren't great
Robin Schneckloth: Beautiful views and fun what more can you ask for.
1sexy 49erfan: We walked in and were not greeted, the host just stared. We were seated and could tell the atmosphere was not very welcoming however. After a long flight, we just wanted a hot lunch. The waitress was attentive enough, but not overly friendly.
Tom O: Enjoyed dinner and drinks with a very large group of people. Very extensive beer, spirits and cocktail menu. Our server Adele was amazing.
