Lucky's Lounge: what do users think?
Nick Delaney: Pretty lowkey, solid drinks.
Aaron Podhajecki: Typical dive bar. Last time I was there has turned me off the place as the bartenders were extremely rude to me but yet not to my coworkers
Stacy Moore Lynch: Excellent service appreciate the level of attention from the staff who appreciated that we visited compared to other places. Thank you
Joe Barry: Great vibe, fun place !!!
laia perez fonullet: NO NOS DEJARON ENTRAR PORNO TENER EL PASSAPORTE. Pero teniamos foto y dni aun asi no nos dejaron EL PORTERO CON UNOS AIRES DE SUPERIORIDAD INCREIBLES. NUNCA MAS VOLVERE NI LO RECOMENDARE A NADIE
E. S.: Loved it. Atmosphere was reminiscent of an old, underground gentlemen's club that got invaded by college kids. Came there for my (belated) birthday dinner. Staff is cool. Drinks are good. Steak and cheese was bomb. Will be back.
Sean Peaslee: Always fun when it's not too crowded
Aaron Slessinger: Close to the Omni with a fun atmosphere.
Dan Januszek: Cool vibe and excellent Guinness pour.
Kelley Jacobs: Fun place!
Ashwin Varghese: Amazing vibes
Joshua Wolf Coleman: Cool enough, but filled with youngsters and — they don’t have live music anymore!!!
Kayla K: Go here if you want your VALID ID TAKEN AWAY. Talked down to and told I should call the cops if I wanted to prove that my ID was real.
ebru sözer: Muhteşem
Doug Roberts: Retro dive stylings, amazing pub food and great daily specials make this place a hidden gem. Can’t wait to go back!
Tony Buelsing: Tried to go to comedy night, bouncer claimed that my real ID was fake and I would have to call the police to get it back, so I did. They showed up and got it back, but the bouncer continued to insist to them that it was fake so despite the police telling them it wasn’t, I was told that I still wouldn’t be allowed inside.
Mark Diethelm: An actual divider bar in the seaport. I hope it never closes. Great atmosphere, chill crowd, good times.
GrosTaco: Been to a stand up show on a monday !
Amy Gabel: Divine fish and chips.
Chocobo Pie: The menu is really fun and it has a very tucked in, old Boston sorta vibe.
Matthew Mattson: Always fun, good atmosphere, and affordable drinks for seaport

Biddy Early's: what do users think?
Willem Ponikvar: I am a Canadian. They didn’t accept my id to get it. They said “passport or go away” how ridiculous. For that 1 star. I’d rate 0/5 if I could.
JoAnne Mayer: Reviews aren’t wrong.Stayed at nearby hotel & wanted to play Golden Tee & watch some sports.Bartender (owner?) great & watched him continuously spray clean tables & check bathrooms. Awesome service. Would be a go to neighborhood bar for us. Darts too.
Edward Harrington: Great locals dive bar. Cold beer and owner was great.
Justin Thomas: Best dive bar in the city
Colm Whelan: Live in Boston 20 years. How did I just find this place? Great great local bar
Hailey Stoltenberg: Great dive bar, but smells like a toilet in the back
Dan M: Used to come here after work when I worked in the area. Great dive bar for beers and casual conversation. They have darts and it can get cramped but it’s just what the doctor ordered after a long day at work!
Jorge Munoz: My wife and I visited this place a few times and the bar tenders and workers are great. You go into this place and forget you are in Boston because it's not overpriced or filled with fancy pants. Just a great Irish type bar with great people working there. I'm making it a point to visit every time I'm near.
Pearce Wurthner-Labrecque: Awesome dive bar if you're down to drink in a toilet.
evans festo: Cheap drinks and good vibes
Carson Gibbs: My buddy Epstein (not that one) says this is the best bar in all of Boston. After a visit I can say it is my favorite as well. Loved playing darts and playing music all night long. Great service and location.
Jason Livingston: Good drinks
Dennis: Had time before last train out of South Station for Providence and was excited to find such a fun, welcoming, and good time scene here. Happy New Year and thanks for the warm shelter from old man winter BE peeps -D
Mike O'Shea: This place is great... PBR DRAFTS for only 3 bucks.
Jeff Grote: Great dive bar!!
Collin Keddy: Place is a joke and would never recommend to anybody
David Leyva: Cool spot, very dive bar local type feel. Nice people, attentive service.
Iyshia Kirkland: Loved the atmosphere here. Drinks were made with love, and the place was packed!
Heather Haley: So much fun!! Just the type of place we wanted to find!! Spent New Years Eve here. Crowd was awesome, busting into the best singalong all night!! Bartenders did a great job.
jerzdoolz: $3 PBRs in Boston is unheard of but there it is. Just love the rustic feel of the small pub!
L: Classic Irish dive bar

Howl at the Moon Boston: what do users think?
Bethany Mayott: Bouncers were extremely rude. There were many over served people that ruined the vibe. People throwing up in the middle of the club, falling down stairs. Unsafe environment. They let way too many people upstairs to the point you can’t even get a drink. When I finally did they were over priced and not worth it.
Felipe Bessa: Wauu que lugar incrível ambiente maravilhoso astral nota 10 galera animada banda muito top galera bonita animada drinks perfeitos amei super recomendo voltarei mais vezes com mais amigos
Martin Nunez: Great place and fantastic vibe
Elongen Jones: I ordered a redbull and vodka and could only taste redbull. Drinks were not great.
Curtis Gibbons: Amazing spot. Servers were great, security wet great, and the performers were great. Top notch
Tyler Zolciak: Great live band plays every weekend! Awesome vibes, typically a younger crowd, cheap drinks and always a great time 😌
jennifer zaniboni: We bought skip the line passes for both upstairs and downstairs venues for $40 pp for birthday party. We arrived about 9 pm and there was no line at either. Later there was a line outside for the lower level club. Very fun venue and MC was good at having the birthday girl get up on stage to dance and sing with the band with smoke effects!. Only complaint is that several times we venmoed money (as instructed) for song requests totaling $40 in requests and the songs were never played. MC said that the band only knows certain songs so they can’t do anything about not honoring paid song requests :(
Sanjay Patel: great vibe
Vineet Yalaka: Oh damn can't explain how much fun we had at this place. The Jell-O shots were crazy and the dance floor(which is opens around 11pm) opens up all new wonders. Best time to be at this place is after 10 in the night.
shriya hukkeri: Nice little place with great live music. You can suggest songs as well!
Pranay Devgan: Live music, good drinks, great vibe and people howling, lol (there was one guy) it was fun night.
Julie Nasser: We threw a private party at Howl and they were amazing!!! So accommodating, answered every question quickly, provided A+ service and the band was fabulous as always! I absolutely recommend going to Howl if you want a fun night with live music
Amanda Holmsten: The drinks were cheap and the bar service was good but there was a general manager going around and rudely throwing coats at people who left them on chairs. Maybe invest in a coat check or get rid of table service after 11 pm on a Friday night! Will not be going back
Savannah Harpster: Horrible experience here
Colleen Smith: Great music and there is plenty of room to dance!
Jolene Eastman: Went for my niece's Bachelorette party we had a great time.
Celestina Marie: Our waitress Haley rocks!!! I will go back each time and personally request her because she makes this place that much more enjoyable. Music is upbeat , drinks are good.
Crystal Curran: Kinda weird vibes
Talita da Costa Moreira Lima: Nice place, delicious margaritas, and awesome musicians! Had a great time with friends!
Gwenyth Duclos: EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF…bouncer refused to let me in with my friends because I gave him “attitude”…filing with the better business bureau. Should be shut down for their incompetence. Will NEVER be returning .
Caleb LeClair: This spot bumpin

Tunnel: what do users think?
Vy Nguyen: The crowd was so dead even when the streets outside are still pretty crowded. No coat check it seems
Vanna Ngo: A place to go to if you don’t want to wait in line for Venu, Icon or Bijou. It’s a small club, but ambience is fun. Good music all around (reggaeton and hip hop). Decent drinks. I will say though… the clientele is kind of questionable. Lots of solo males here compared to other clubs in Boston. Had a handful of creeps come up to me and my friend so I would deff just skip out on this place and wait in line somewhere else, even if other places are a little more expensive
Lauren True: Great security, felt safe
ryanrapada1: Trash. Don’t waste your time. Waited in line for 2 hours. Unless you’re “VIP” they’ll make you wait. I don’t know how or why some people were getting in. Bouncers were racist and made snide remarks to minorities. Owner came out and cursed out the front people in the line for asking how long the wait was. He kept shoving us back even when we were behind the line, also encouraged racist comments at people in the line. Go here if you want to be berated and treated inhumanely. Trash
B1ackeyez: Tunnel was very good!
Raquel Rivera Díaz: Not recommendable, waste of time and 20$
Roberto Sims: The short little bouncer/security guy was loooking to pick a fight with anybody that walked past him. It was honestly a bad time all around- bad service and bad vibes. Never coming here again.
Kathleen Attardo: We went here to dance and hear good music! A night out w my sister in law, my daughter & my niece! SOOO much fun!!
Niko Cardini: Went here with a large group of friends not knowing what to expect, and had an absolute blast.Main reason for 5 stars is that the hospitality at Tunnel was by far better than any club I have been to in Boston. Every single staff member were of the most friendly people I've met working at a club/bar scene. Props to you all!
Steven Mendez: Ordered a bottle and waitress charged my card before checking if it was in stock, it wasn’t. Then offered to “give me a deal” if I spent double the amount I originally planned on. I was told I would be refunded but never was. The number posted doesn’t even ring if you try to call it. Scammers, will never return or recommend.
Gina M: DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I was lied to at the front door saying the bar would be open for 2 more hours and so I paid the $20 cover charge but it was actually only open for 20 more minutes. The music was trash and people were creepy. The only good part was a really nice employee named Heavy.
Lisa “LeeLee” Demeo: It’s everything I expected & so much more 💋
Andrea Estefani: Umm I always go to this place when I’m in Boston lol BUT TeLL THE DJ TO STOP PLAYING DRAKE All night please lol I love him but not all night we need DIFFERENT ARTIST OKAY I’m done lol
Giovanna Marino: Awesome place with great music and great vibes
Camille Brunetti: Had an amazing night here! Drinks are a little pricey, but the bartenders were quick and friendly. Definitely a small space but the lighting was so fun, the dance floor was full without being too crowded and the music was great—cover was $20 when we got there around 9:30/10. Also, security was visible and helpful w/o being intimidating—great spot for how small it is!
Britt Lane: Love this place? Is it still open?
Carley Leonard: We went there for my friends birthday we had a great time!
Irma Nalic: worst bouncers
Mila Z: Bouncers were the worst human beings. My brother had a ticket and they wouldn’t let him in because it was 5 minutes past the time but they were rude and condescending even though he was waiting in line. Do not go!!!
catherine B: By far the WORST night club experience in Boston.
Madison Attardo: Im 22 years old and they wouldn’t let me in cause they didn’t believe I was of age even after showing the bouncer my license. My friends and I then had to call an uber to find a new place to go although we planned all night to go to tunnel, which was a huge inconvenience. I would NOT recommend going there because if it happened to me it probably happens to others. The bouncer also asked to see my facebook profile and still did not believe me. They are unprofessional and absolutely stupid

Zach: The place was pretty packed when we got there, but we got service pretty fast. The folks working here are nice and the beers pretty good too. I will say the building's kind of narrow so if you've got a big bag maybe leave it elsewhere before you go otherwise you're going to be banging it in to people.Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Annabanana: Cool beatnik like vibe at this little dark bar in Back Bay of Boston. They play vinyl behind the bar. Great beer and nice little menu to boot! Even serve vegan food! You can get your own mug to hang up top the bar with your favorite dead author inscribed:) cheers!
Jeffrey Ohl: Perfect place to pop in for a very reasonably priced drink.Fun vibe. Nice views. Cash is preferred
Dan M: Nice little dive outside the back bay. Really great attentive service. The food was better than expected. We got the tater tots (RIP Lower Depths) and chicken fingers, really tasty. Pretty solid beer list.Only negatives were one credit card per table and we had 5 people and the music was a bit loud. I used to go to the location in Inman (rip) but now it’s only this one. I will come by next time I’m in the area!Wheelchair accessibility: It’s street level and no stairs at all.
Diego Droguett: Super divey in the best ways possible. The food is solid and just what you want after a few beers, of which there was a great selection. The staff was also great, and not to packed when I was there. Definitely going back.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Burger …More
Hannah Madaus: Only beer, wine, and cider. Food available until 11:30p - also a great lunch, with a few gluten free options on the menu. Genuinely enjoyed the records on rotation.Recommended dishes Burger …More
Charles Sanft: Good beer selection, nice staff
James Graydon: A small and (almost literally) hole-in-the-wall bar. It nails the "simple and straightforward with minimum frills" ethos while still delivering a great beer selection and surprisingly good food (so many small bars drop the ball here). If you're looking for good drinks and simple food with a traditional bar feel, you're in luck.
lauraine nsenga: It was slow wen we get there so I can say much
Brad Prestbo: Cash and beer only.
Philip W. Prifold III: Bacon & blue burger was below average. Sad tasting side salad. Best part of my meal were the chicken bites.

Underground: what do users think?
Anu Gaavar: The guy who works at the end towards the entry for mariel underground door is very poorly behaved and shows no respect.
S: I honestly wish I read the reviews before coming here. It seems like I'm not the only one who has experienced this. They booked my reservation for $50 a week in advance. Only for them to text me the day of and say I need to be charged a $500 minimum because they made a mistake and will offer us a complimentary champagne bottle. After arriving to our section they kept insisting that we need to order more drinks to reach our minimum balance, so we ordered the $295 pitcher, had 5 Fijis because there were only 5 of us and THAT WAS IT! After finishing our pitcher we thought we had to order more drinks but the girl came back with our receipt, charged us for the COMPLIMENTARY drink ($300), 6 red bulls (which we never even drank, not even 1), the fijis (understandable), the picture for $295, gratuity of %20 automatically added and the table (which we already were charged when we reserved the table for our section). SO I don't understand how the total came to $886 when we were only trying to reach our minimum of $500 (without tip). It seems like this place keeps saying you need to reach a certain threshold so that you can surpass and ultimately charge you more than what you had anticipated. I felt if they never even said we need to keep spending more, we would have only been at the $500. It's truly disgusting the way this company works and I'll never come back. I'll be making TikTok and Instagram reviews as well so people know what they are coming into before booking this place. The music was trash and they removed the red stanchions at 1am when we were clearly still in our section and random people were sitting in our couches, one girl even spilled her drink on me as she SAT DOWN ON ME! I had to yell at her to get off me. This would've never happened if they kept them up for what we paid for. Ridiculous.
Nikolay “Nikolay Hanglow”: Good place, but wicked expensive
Rachel Pesce: I made a reservation a month in advanced for me and my boyfriend's joint birthday celebration. It was this past Saturday night March 11th. We were planning on around 20 people, but told the person who I made the reservation with that it may be a few less. They said that it would be $50 minimum per person. I said that that was perfect. They said that we would have a table to eat and drink from 8-10pm and then we would have to leave the table because it would turn into a night club but that we could stay down and order from the bar. I said that that was perfectly fine. The night of we all arrived at 8pm. The hostess brought us to 2 half- moon shaped booths that were next to each other but far enough away that we all could not talk to each. We were completely separated. After about 15 minutes I asked if there was any way we could be moved to a larger table across the restaurant so that we could all be together because it was for both my boyfriend and my birthday and we were not even together, and the hostess said she would see what she could do. Then, came back over to me with another man and they very condescendingly told me there's nothing they could do. So, that really upset me, because they couldn't have accommodated 20 people and if they had told me that I wouldn't have even booked this reservation. I would have went somewhere else. Additionally, at 9:50 the server told my boyfriend we were $300 less than the minimum and that we had to order more. There only ended up being 16 people so it should have been 16 x$50 which is $800. However, after my boyfriend ordered 2 large pitchers of something to try and meet our minimum, the bill ended up being $1235. Which was $400 over our minimum. We ended up having 10 mins to try and drink the two large pitchers because she asked us so late. Then, the most annoying part of the whole night was after we just spent all that money they said we had to pay a $30 cover per person. Meanwhile, everyone had already dispersed around the dance floor and bar. So, I just paid for everyone which ended up being $480. I would have never chose this establishment for my birthday if I was notified beforehand that I would have to pay a cover when we were already downstairs. I also would not have booked if I had known our group was going to be separated. I also felt that the staff was very condescending and rude. I don't think they were very helpful or professional. Also, I think the server was very undertrained and definitely was not ready to handle a party of that size. I literally NEVER complain about places. However, this experience was THAT bad.I hope this helps someone looking into this establishment for an event or special occasion.
Hannah R: The food and drinks were delicious but like others have mentioned, it's not the best club.
Tanya Melnikova: Great music
Timothy Skyes: These days, night clubs and lounges are a dime a dozen. Mariel underground doesn't offer anything in terms of uniqueness or attractiveness. They have an "exclusive" and selective entry but yet half of the patrons were drunk college kids. Seems like its all marketing. The music was outdated, DJ was old and the drinks weren't made well and I have seen/heard rumors of people being roofied at this club. I wouldn't come back.
W: Paid for a table at Mariel earlier this month and was extremely disappointed. Dinner upstairs was ok (not worth the $300 tab for two meals at all unfortunately) and downstairs in the club atmosphere and vibe was very tacky (you essentially walk down into a basement into a frat style college club, not very classy vibes if thats what youre going for). They did have live musicians that was a plus, however musicians did not seem well rehearsed. Drinks were watered down. Did we have a good time? Eh. I suggest your save your money and go to Encore.
Madhura Hulsurkar: Amazing ambience, food and service. Vegetarians also have nice options. Portion of each dish is good for 2 people. Really loved pan queso frito, avocado con mojo, sufrito hummus. Pizzas were okayish. Their cocktails are fancy. Nice place of celebrations or for date night.
Nicole Lee: Went here this summer for my sister’s bachelorette party and it was very underwhelming. Dinner itself was good but the club scene was lame. We had set a price for a table with a promoter ahead of time but it was not honored. When I brought that up with the staff, they were very rude about it and basically said tough luck. Our bottle girl was very nice and apologetic about the situation but overall I wouldn’t recommend this club. Also the drinks are very overpriced, there isn’t much room to dance and the music wasn’t great.
Kaytie Kellaway: My go to nightlife spot in Boston. Great drinks, atmosphere & service! The DJs are always great and make it a super fun night. I come in from LA and this is the closest thing to the places out there.
M.B.K: Hell yeaah I love Mariel and The Underground, its a posh place in Boston some nights its allright but some nights its pumpin and makes you go like f. Yeaa. Love it there. No five stars cause some bartenders can be a “soup nazi” from time to time. But its fine nothing is perfect in this world.
Eric Lord: Amazing atmosphere, great music, good mixed shots, but the drinks are fairly expensive. I reccomend a significant pregame before you arrive.
Christie Angrand: My cousin celebrated his birthday here, we did VIP with bottle service. Rafaella was super cool and she took good care of us. I wish I had more pictures to show, the aesthetic is really nice.
Joy Adeyemi: DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Came out for a good time, left annoyed due to rude staff 🙄. I will take my $$$ elsewhere. Thank you.
Jennie K: Came here for my bachelorette party and ended up feeling disappointed. They seated us at a weird, low table with a nice couch but uncomfortable stools. My MOH asked if we could move to a booth and the guy seating us said no.The food was good, but we were expecting the same drink menu as upstairs Mariel’s. We asked our waitress if we could get some pina coladas upstairs since they don’t do blended drinks downstairs and bring them back down. She said sure, but when we tried the bring them back down, the doorman wouldn’t let us back down to our table. We tried to explain that our waitress told us it was okay, but he wasn’t having it. Eventually my MOH did some negotiating and he let us down.As the night went on, we noticed some birthdays and other bach parties getting some signs brought over congratulating them. We had told them we were there for a bachelorette party when we made our reservation, but they never brought a sign over to us. When my MOH asked the waitress, she seemed snippy about it and didn’t realize we were having a Bach party ( I was wearing a veil and sash which would be pretty hard to miss). Ended up not getting one, which was lame.Nobody was really dancing afterwards because of the awkward VIP tables taking up all the dancing space so we moved over to Wild Rover. The staff and experience over there made the night much more special. Wish I could say the same for Mariel underground, but they were disappointing. Probably wouldn’t go there again or recommend to others.
Aidan Marshall: Bouncers on a power trip, being rude, do not recommend it
Jeffrey Dean: Had an unpublished dress code for a show. The bouncer said he couldn’t tell everyone “because he didn’t have their numbers”! What a ridiculous joke…
Irene Wong: Tried going to this relatively new club for the first time, and it’s truly the worst club in all of Boston - advanced tickets were not honored because the management/bouncers let in too many guests (VIP or walk-up…??? Who even knows!) DJ table not elevated and there is literally no dance floor. There are only VIP tables and walkways between the VIP tables… truly laughable. For GA guests who want to go here to see EDM artists, this is way way wayyy worse than The Grand and any other club in Boston. Absolutely not worth your time or money to go here, and I genuinely feel bad for all the DJs that are booked here. These artists deserve more than this awfully managed club.
Yedek Avlanmaz: This place is awful. The bartenders are getting drunk while at work. No professionalism at all.
paul edwards: This is a rocking good time, security is sharp and courteous, bartenders friendly and top notch in customer service, even the bathroom attendant was friendly. I will certainly return and if you haven't been try it! Food and Drinks are upscale so if the price(I know you were wondering ;).

The Alley Bar: what do users think?
Cole Snider: The Alley Bar was a nice bar overall. Mixed crowd but primarily on the older side. Music was good, drinks were a bit pricey but you tend to expect that in Boston. Quite a bit of seating and definitely more of the bar vibe than the club vibe. There is some dancing upstairs and a pool table. Overall, a very clean establishment that I’d recommend visiting if you’re not looking for a wild night on the town per se.
Kevin Hess: Horrible experience. My friend and I ordered a drink each. After enjoying our drinks for a while, a plate of food arrived in front of us that we had not ordered. Not even 10 seconds later, a gentleman arrived behind us and started chatting with us. He was clearly interested in us, be we politely made it clear we were not interested. After receiving our bill, we realized the food we had not ordered was listed on our tab. We questioned the bartender and he immediately insisted food was ordered by my friend. This was a straight lie and he knew it because he refused to make eye contact for the remainder of our stay. Funny enough, the gentleman whom had originally been interested in us came back over and started flirting with us again. I asked him if he had ordered the food for us, and he admitted he had. I called him out on the fact that the bartender said we had ordered the food, and he started acting really weird saying he owned the bar. He went back to his seat, and I called the bartender back over. I explained the guy had admitted to ordering the food on our behalf, and the bartender was immediately angered and said he would pull the video footage of us ordering the food. At this point we were uncomfortable and just wanted to leave. We closed our tab (with the cost of the food included) and left. As we were leaving the guy whom sent the food was watching us leave. The bartender continued to make no further eye contact. The whole experience was uncomfortable, and deceptive at best. The bartender was the younger of the two, and I regret not bringing the issue up with the older bartender or security. This whole ordeal happened on 4/12/23 around 9:00pm. I hope the younger bartender can be made accountable, the bar was otherwise okay.
gio gio: The best!
Sylvia De Jesus: Horrible
BLUF 4273: I went on Valentine's night this year, thinking I'd find a lively atmosphere. What I found was grim. The two bartenders were in faded T-shirts, stretched neck elastic, dirty jeans, and unkempt beards. They looked unappealing for the look a business in a city center should have. The music from the jukebox was depressing. I expressed my disappointment to the person beside me; his response was more disappointing. He told me to play my music, that Valentine's Day was a straight day, and that he was running away from the atmosphere that night. In other words, it was like telling me: "if you want to party, bring your music to the bar." Excuse me!Shouldn't business owners strive to create the best atmosphere on special days to attract clientele? Not even a red underwear party. I finished my drink, asked for the bill, and left. I preferred to go home because I said, "If that's the atmosphere at Alley, I better not waste time with others." The $10 I spent on a single drink, I’d have spent on a bottle of wine. The Alley Bar survived the pandemic duller and less dynamic, and they take their clientele for granted.
Omar Chavez Yanez: Really is my first time in Boston and I hear good thing about thos bar but the black guy to taking care of the stairs was so rude man that is insane
Christian Butterworth: A really friendly, welcoming bar that my Husband and I stumbled upon. Staff were very attentive, and the other customers were friendly and chatty. Good selection of beers on tap, and the prices were reasonable too! A great bar for LGBTQ+ travellers to Boston!
Ture Richard Turnbull: Fun place, stiff drinks
Jason Stankiewicz: The Alley Bar Boston is a warm and inviting place for members of the LGBTQ+ community. It is a bar that celebrates diversity and inclusion, creating a safe and friendly atmosphere for all. The staff is welcoming and accommodating, making sure everyone feels welcome and comfortable. Whether you're looking for a place to hang out with friends, dance, or just have a good time, The Alley Bar Boston is the perfect spot.
Jordan Upchurch: Very local oriented gay bar. Solid group of customers and workers. I received great service and good food and beverage. Highly suggest Karoke on Sunday nights!
Jay Dupont: This is a fun place, definitely one of my favorite bars in Boston. Great for a drink after work and meet new people. New year's eve is typically a lot of fun and dancing. Also it should be noted, their bathrooms are some of the cleanest in Boston.
Will Rhodes: So great. If you're cool don't miss it. If you're lame, get lost.
mycol mateo: 👎👎👎👎
Rob Murley: Ignorant old man at the door accusing me and my bf of being under 21 (both over 25 with scannable id’s) barely any seating and an overall terrible atmosphere
Andrew D: What a great place to visit. We were here last Saturday and we had a very welcoming reception. The staff was fantastic, they offered us a place to sit at the bar, everything was perfect. While sitting at the bar we met some local guys, and a guy from Ireland, everyone was very welcoming, and easy to talk to. We laughed and had great conversations. It was our first time at The Ally Bar, can’t wait to go back.
Skip Matthew: Friendly men !
Ben Geravesh: Nice bar, but very grouchy and unwelcoming old bartenders! Don’t waste time. Will not come back :)
Greg B: Pleasant. Beary. Friendly stuff. Strong cocktails. Worth a visit. Entrance hidden during daytime, but easy to find when opened.
Taylor Shay: Black unfriendly bar. A bunch of conservative white men with transphobic attitudes. Micro aggressions and discriminatory language amongst patrons. Myself and another Black American patron who descend from the people who built this country clearly were not welcomed.
Jason Bailey-Amos: We were made to feel very welcome by all the star on our trip.Great food and friendly service, we loved it and would recommend a visitThanks to Jerry and Patrick for looking after us
Jay Bee: Nice space , clean, and friendly environment. Lovely bartender, really cold beer - I loved ❤️ it! - and a great chicken wings full of taste! Thank God I didn’t meet any of those grumpy people mentioned here. I was wondering, are they for real of it was just one or two fellas who were not having a good day ? Who knows ?! PS. I’ve met Edd, Peter and Jake - three very polite fellas and very receptive! I cannot picture those guys treating anyone bad !

Valerie Flanagan: Intimate neighborhood-feel venue for new and good music 🎶🎵🎶🎵Cafe style makes it comfy, friendly and fun.
K B: Had a lot of fun here playing in School of Rock band. The acoustics were excellent for a small venue. The vibe was good, place was clean. Drinks were nice.
Maria Iannuccillo: Dive bar, super sweet locals with a very down to earth vibe. shout out to Mike, and Dylan for holding it down at the bar. cash only, but they have an ATM. No food but places nearby to grab something to eat.
Olivia Kelley: Fun music, vibes, and people :) highly recommend Friday nights @6:30. Cash only heads up
Megan OConnor: Always fun
Kacie King: I LOVE Queeraoke here in Thursday evenings.
Ian Downie: Awesome live music venue where we've played a few times. The sound people are generally nice and the bartender is great. They have a k-cup machine behind the bar so technically theyre actually a cafe. They even have cute ceramic mugs if you get a coffee how rad is that. I recommend going to one of their matinee shows especially if its winter since it's dark anyway so you don't feel lame for being a concert at 4:45pm.
Heather Mack: Singlehandedly keeping live independent rock music alive in Boston! Love the Midway, love Lenny at the bar, love the friendly divey vibes, love it all. Thank you Midway!
Frances Lewis: Enjoyed the bands especially Empty 40z

Better Sorts Social Club: what do users think?
Tina Raisifard: Tucked away inside the hotel, very pretty on the inside and not usually too crowded
Fran Harrington: Excellent cocktails, great atmosphere
Dan in Dubai: Best bar in Boston. Clean and cozy. Ask for Brad - consumate mixologist. Come for the atmosphere. Stay for the drinks. Thanks mate.
Joseph Sullivan: Drinks were great. Server was friendly and accommodating. Food was surprisingly tasty.
William Roberts: Please open up again, this bar was unmatched in downtown Boston. We miss it!
Eaman Jahani: Nice music
Josh Gister: Great drinks, tasty bites. Bar service could be more attentive. A happening spot for a drink after work.
Shannon Landry Dawson: A little bit noisier than my eyes told me from pictures (I realize that's on me and ridiculous). But holy cow, cocktails. Our bar tenders were amazing and made some high quality cocktails that kept my group very happy for several hours. Classy joint, dark bathrooms, out of this world bar tenders, louder than ideal music, comfy bar chairs.
Jake Dasilva: Awesome place great atmosphere can’t wait to go back.
Scott Hoxie: Very cool lighting. Great bartenders and live performances
Michael Avakian: Really great
Georgio R: Great place and really nice band and ambiance. Came highly recommended by Dr. Keith Miller - totally studly dude.
Gege Jinstkhuu: Great cocktails!
Hema B Misra: Great ambiance and interesting cocktails. Perfect spot to bring guests visiting from out of town!
Ed: Fantastic service! Drinks were mediocre considering the price
Jessica Humphrey: Best cocktails around! The space is so luxe - ambient lighting, plush furniture, crystal glassware... a truly upscale experience. They have seasonal cocktails (as well as year-round), an extensive wine & liquor list, and food/snacks. It's the perfect place to relax with a cocktail and friends or a date. They also have spirit-free cocktail options which came in handy for my pregnant friend. I bring all my out-of-town guests here. We had a hard time finding it the first time - the doors to enter are right on Tremont street. Highly recommend!
William Toll: Creative drinks. Nice atmosphere. Awesome furniture.
haley: Excellent atmosphere and beverages
J Z: If you want the best drinks in Boston look no further. This is an amazing bar with a better selection. If you are looking for something new and interesting try this place out. The food isn't half bad either doe nibbling and only big enough to share with 2 or 3 max. I would say to try the Milk Punch and all the drinks under the greens are amazing.
Natassha Deepest Love: Not alot of options in the food section but major leagues in the drinks section. I and my honey had a really good time regardless. Lastnight it was a very smooth upbeat trendy high end with quality staff along with quality service. Definitely will return.
Emerson West: Expensive but quality drinks. They only have a small selection of appetizers to eat. The brussel sprouts and fondue is amazing.

The Tam: what do users think?
Madison Dickison: My girlfriend and I were here last night while the bar was pretty busy. We, and many other women were approached by a weird man. Within 5 minutes, security came up to us and wanted to know what was said and if we felt safe and what the bar should do. I have never had security be so mindful of the experience of female customers, and never once been asked if someone is making me uncomfortable. I really appreciated it and know the security is actually doing their job. Thank you!!!:)
David Williams: Amazing local bar with a local feel and clientele. A must visit.
Fran Xxx: This place needs to be remodeled.
Chris Mayhew: My favorite place for a beer and a Jameson in all of Boston when I come up from Providence on the T. Make a special stop here with every trip to Boston. Best bar in the city, hands down.
Eric Thiebaut-George: Fantastic bar, great atmosphere!
Micah Nelson: The tam is a five star dive bar. If you don't like it you don't like dive bars, period.
S Fuchs: Sehr cool!Typische Bar mit sehr netten Leuten.
Mike Begley: College bar but we were able to grab a bar stool and have a few drinks. Good music and super friendly employees. Bartender even bought me a Schlitz!
Jayla Phillips: The Tam is a fun quick place to check out. Prices are good. Seating is limited but it is a really fun vibe!
Eric Erwin: bartender was rude
Gail Wilkinson: Great pub cheap drinks and fab music. A must visit!
John Heekin: Nice basic bar with selection of craft beers. NB does accept credit cards..
Cameron Ryde: Classic Boston dive bar
Alan Pfersch (Al): Black and Tan is good.
Joey Tollinchi: Cool bar. Nice environment
Russell Copp: Friendly bartender, cool atmosphere, great music.
David Morales: Bartender Doyle is the greatest he will suit your needs and the worker which I will post a picture of is the CHILLEST most humble person which is a door man his name is Sean and the bar back Davon is pretty chill too and Jean is very great too she is very COOL I like her and she is trustworthy
Connor Mason: it’s hilarious, especially when full
Alex C: First off, when the bartender is wearing a Napalm Death hat, this place is already a winner.Cheap Guinness, a cool vibe, and friendly staff. The only downside was the slight odor of the place. Can't quite place it, but I used to it soon enough. I'll have to stop back in sometime to see if it still permeates the place. Don't let that deter you from a pre-game brew!
Brittney McLaughlin: Greta dive bar. Great drinks an deff low key place to have a drink an hit the town
Eric Benson: Classic dice complete with a smelly bathroom and diverse cast of characters
