Mass Audubon's Drumlin Farm: what do users think?
Valerie Z: FOXES
Thanarat O'Bryan, LMT, MLD-C: Nice park to walk and get fresh air
Sebastian Ebarb: Go early to see the skunk and foxes or you will catch them napping.
Eric Maurice Levesque: The Audubon's working farm in Lincoln Mass. Close to Boston. Plenty of trails, farm animals, birds. It was a cold Sunday when we went but it was worth walking around. Plenty of restrooms on site. Plenty of places to eat a picnic lunch if you want. The walking was easy and stroller friendly. A great place to bring the kids. I'll be back in warmer weather for more hikeing.
Leah Klein: Drumlin Farm is a sweet little farm perfect for all ages. Families can enjoy a day looking at animals or digging in the dirt. Adults can enjoy a stroll around the property and a meditative time with the animals. There are often classes and programs for adults and families as well.
Achsah John: Nice place to visit with family and kids!Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry $6–10 …More
Michael Kish: This is a combination of a working farm, wildlife sanctuary, and walking trails. It's great for all ages. Farm stand in season (was closed when I was there in November). Ice cream stand in the summer! Surprisingly large shop with variety of toys, gifts, bird feeding supplies, books, and other stuff for the nature lover.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Price for adult entry $6–10 …More
Patrick R: The gentleman at the admissions was extremely helpful, friendly, and to the point. There were a decent amount of people there today but plenty of space so it wasn't overcrowded. Definitely a good place to take a family, and a gorgeous place to visit during the autumn seasonRestrooms: There are some throughout the farm areaPicnic area: Plenty of benches and grassy areas to sit and snack (as long as your not near the animals)
Paul Batista: First time there disappointed Very few animals, not much to see. It’s a working farm when animals are certain size they go to market. Not what I expected
Matthew Curley: To be clear, this is a working farm/wildlife sanctuary, not a zoo or petting zoo. That being said, it's still a great place to bring kids, to see and learn about the various farm animals they raise there (cows, horses, pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits), as well as some native species like foxes, skunks and various birds, and also learn about how crops are grown and harvested. They offer a preschool and a summer camp, as well as other daily programming for visitors throughout the week. There are plenty of walking/nature trails and good picnic spots, as well as restrooms for visitors, but no snack bars or souvenir stands (again, this is not a zoo). There is a gift shop at the entrance that sells a small assortment of bottled beverages and frozen treats, nature-themed gifts/toys and childrens' books, with proceeds helping to fund the Massachusetts Audubon Society. You can also purchase meat and other seasonal products of the farm.It gets busy in the Spring when the baby sheep and goats are born, so if you plan on visiting on a weekend during that time I'd recommend reserving a parking spot and buying tickets (or a yearly membership, if so inclined) ahead of time.
diane dube: We had a wonderful spring day at the farm. Baby lambs and baby goats!!!! The staff is friendly, helpful and funny.
Coralie G: My 2 year old daughter loves going there and visit all the different farm animals. Very well maintained place with friendly staff.
Boston Mama: So much fun for the whole fam. Get a Audubon membership!
Laura S: Nice place to take the little ones. They have sheep, cows, chickens, foxes, goats ,turkeys and a few others.Fresh veggies grown and sold.No pesticides.Ebt accepted
Jim Sawyer: We checked out the farmstead and the quality of produce was amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be coming back. The farmstead is near the shop. They also sometimes have fresh eggs.
Arthur Rosa: We had a great time at Drumlin Farm! It’s a great place to walk around and look at farm animals. There were sheep, cows, chickens, pigs, goats, and even a fox! They have a collection of native birds as well (owls, hawks, etc.). There’s also a bunch of walking trails. Great place to take a family for an outing to go see the animals!
Roy Shilkrot: We frequent this place. It's very accessible. This time the birds cages had very exciting things: Hawks and owls. We also saw the red foxes and naturally all the farm animals. They had a farm stand, and we could see the fields they grow the vegetables for the farm stand. They also see honey, fresh eggs from the coops and meat. There were wild turkeys too. It's a small place but perfect for something close and interesting.
xi xi: 超棒哒羊羔不给摸但是可以偷偷摸,还有牛,手感也可好,我最喜欢下图中那种猫头鹰,我们还看到了鹿
istenia sabry: Wonderful!!! Kids place 😍😍😍
Mariya Johansen: We had soooo much fun and we will definitely be back well worth the hour car ride to come here, we’re upset we didn’t find it sooner. Glad they put together this program during April vacation!
K N: Friendly staff and great place for kids! Great place to get connected with nature.

Allandale Farm: what do users think?
Christian Scott: Just for Christmas trees. So they have a really well thought out system here with matching tags and a vehicle tie down while you wait. Tipping is suggested. A good amount of crafty ornaments and edible stocking stuffers. It's a very Subaru Brookline kinda vibe and they seemed to be running out of 6-7 foot trees so ppl were buying big ones and having them sawed off. Maybe they get more
K Ho: I love this place, it's a farm stand nursery in Boston. Check this place out, their plants are not a lot more expensive than the big box stores and has such better vibes.Farm store is a bit pricey, but it's high quality locally grown food. You get what you pay for.
Ed Chen: Balsams grow faster meaning their branch strength is less than a Fraser, however Balsams are often “fuller”, with more, closer growing branches. Unlike the Fraser, Balsams have “soft” needles. This means that the needles lay flat so when you grab a branch with your hand, it's not sharp.
Raymond Huey: A wonderful whole family experience. The friendly and very helpful staff couldn't have been kinder. And who doesn't love the Highland Cows?
Lena Owens: Just came here for our Christmas tree for the first time this year. The staff were super helpful and knowledgeable and the process was quick and easy. Do note that you have to reserve a time online to be able to get in and choose a tree. Prices were affordable and fair for Christmas trees. The farm stand was really well stocked with veggies, local goods, and other Christmas accoutrements. Also in a beautiful location. Overall a great experience and definitely will be back!
M. Mazz: Best little farm around! Always feel good supporting this place. Love Curtis and Willard! They have great plants, and lots of super yummy local treats. The staff here is always awesome and super helpful.
Beth Budner: I was very amazed by the very friendly & knowledgeable staff out there thanks to our wonderful teamwork w/ BOTH our lively NEY & Brandeis groups (i.e. Picking nice 'n ripe radishes & interesting discussions shortly after our snack/beverage break in the Gray HSE, respectively). As a matter of fact, this sure brings back great memories of when my dad & I did some of our productive short errands @ Russell's Garden on RTE 20 in Wayland (i.e. My '93 April vacation).Beth Budner, Auburndale!
Kevin Schreck: Seasonal produce, gardening supplies and a selection of other assorted products make this a worthwhile stop.
Tom Vail: Great spot for intimate wedding venue
Kelsey Christopher: I couldn't love this place more. It's so perfect
Liam RBG: Would highly recommend
J Live: This place has all the small organic foods that I love! I go here for the groceries and treats because there are some hard-to-find things like cheese curds. I love the chips, specialty flours, candy, ice cream, pasta, and pizzas. I got a grape kombucha the last time I was there and it was very good! I will keep coming back to fill up on snacks!
Maylee Austin: Great place!
DAVID BRYANT: Good corn!
Debra James: Awesome place!!! Everything you ever thought you'd like and need to garden is here.
Alex: Today, my friend took me to this farm, saying that he's been coming here since he was a kid. This place is so cute!! We went just before closing. They had all kinds of plants available. I wish we had more time so we could've asked an employee for help so we could find something suitable for our homes.I absolutely adored the grocery section where they have fruits and vegetables that they grew themselves. I picked up a blueberry lavender drink mix-in, apple butter, fig jam, bee pollen, maple syrup crunchies (not their formal name 😋), clover honey goat cheese, and lavender honey goat cheese.Later the same day, I bought some almond flour cracked pepper crackers and made a charcuterie board with some Costco prosciutto, the goat cheeses, and the fig jam. I also made a pizza with the fig jam as well as pre-made crust, arugula, mozzarella, and the prosciutto. The goat cheese and the fig jam that I bought from The Farm were absolutely phenomal and I'll definitely be craving it after I eat the rest of it over the course of the next few days. I am looking forward to trying the other products I got here and coming back to try more!Lastly, at the checkout line, I noticed I had managed to kick up some dirt at the arboretum onto my new ankle tat. I was a little worried that I need to keep it clean and the lovely woman working one of the registers went to go get me a wet paper towel so I could wipe the dirt off. While shopping, I also ended up carrying so many jars in my arms, I mentioned that it would be great if I had a basket and someone working there overheard and brought me a basket. (Good thing! I'm such a klutz!) A+ customer service. I absolutely loved the 15-20 minutes that I got to spend here before closing!!
Olive Day: Amazing
Mariana Daly: Such a fun place to visit and amazing food and plants
Phil L.: Great place to go get plants and help from staff..
wepainttheworld: If you're looking for fresh produce this is a on stop shop!
selim gurel: Only working farm in Boston, let's make sure will stay that way.

Mass Audubon: what do users think?
Peter: Beautiful place to bring kid
Connie Mashock: Will return again with my new membership
Jill Stewart: Well cared for live stock and extremely kind employees
John Such: I'm there a couple of days every werk.
Anne Awad: Wonderful place for young children, families
James Silvia: At Drumlin Farm picking squash formy company's community impact day
Janer: Beautiful working farm and wildlife sanctuary. Great for children and adults. A nice variety of farm animals. It's well maintained and ready to get around. Nice gift shop. We had a lovely day.
Debbie Goldman Quinn: Beautiful to walk around, very informative, interactive. Gift shop very nice but pricey for visiting children.
Alan Day: Drumlin Farm is wonderful, and their toddler class gets right in the fields with the baby lambs, goats and chickens.
V ML: Love to visit this place. Clean and orderly, yet naturally beautiful.
Charlene Volk: Farm fresh food, pumpkins, veg, eggs! So lovely!
Beryl Reid: Love this place. A beautiful place to spend the day. They have trails, farm animals and very friendly staff. There are great spots on the hill top to watch blue birds. Wish we had discovered it a long time ago, we've been members for a long time. Highly enjoyed and recommended.
gronch01450: This is a great family place to take children. It is a farm with fancy chickens, pigs, cows, goats, sheep and wild birds that were injured and can't be released into the wild. There are picnic tables and hayrides.
Anthony Mc Whinnie: My wife Kelsey and I had our wedding and reception here this July. The gardens and house are absolutely beautiful. Kim McCloud was a huge help. She was very attentive and helped coordinate everything with the caterer, dj etc. She made our day flow with ease. We were able to enjoy the day with our guests and our wedding went without a hitch. We had 100 guests and did not have an issue with parking. The many trails and cute goats were a great addition to keep our guests (especially children) entertained and happy. We owe a lot of thanks to Kim for helping make our wedding day perfect!
Stephen Hau (Steve): Wonderful venue for families.
Katie Waite: It's a pretty and peaceful area, but we had expected a bit more of a "hike." We were able to get lost in a small wooded area and feel outside of the city momentarily, but felt like we would see the Boston skyline as soon as we emerged. There were some signs about days when you could pick your own veggies from the fields, which seemed like it could be fun. There was also a great farmers' stand at the entrance with fresh veggies. Beautiful area, so we will probably be back at some point.

Meadow Mist Farm: what do users think?
Lorraine Magarian: Great pasture raised meats and organ meats. Lauren is a very loving lady and truly loving toward her animals.
Mark Tebyrtse: Rude lady.
Janine Kunz: We visited this lovely farm back in March to bottle feed some lambs. What a treat! Farmer Lauren met us in the parking lot (down a longggg dirt driveway and left past the barn) and introduced us to the cows and sheep. We learned a lot and she's clearly most knowledgeable. They sell all kinds of high quality food items. Can't wait to go back! (Ps. Although we were given ample warning about dressing for the occasion I had no idea how... "barn-y" I'd smell after.)
Loretta Pioch: What a treasure to find in the midst of Lexington! Highest quality meats, bones, local honey, EVOO, and produce! How has it taken me this long to find?!?
Ari S: Amazing place!! We stumbled upon this farm and were instantly greeted by Lauren who helped us pick our own chard, carrots, and beets. It was so fun to get truly fresh veggies! We met some other shoppers there who told us we had to try the eggs and garlic too. Lauren shared some cooking ideas and gave us a great recipe for beet hummus (photo). Everything I’ve made from what I picked / bought has been INCREDIBLE. Can’t wait to go back; highly recommended!
Steven Nilsen: What they don’t post are prices. They sent us out to their fields and we picked our veggies, which was fun, and the lady was nice. Anyhow, we didn’t expect this at checkout:Celery $3.50 per pound (and you must buy the entire plant, a large head was $18)Carrots $4.50 per poundGreens $5-6 per bundle? We had 2.75 pounds and they got rang up as 5 units for a total of $26.00Garlic $20 per pound.Tomatoes $6.50 per pound.Shallots are $7.50 per pound.Eggplant $5.00 per poundPepper $5.00 per pound? My 1.7 oz of peppers were rounded up to one pound. They are both charging high and over charging on top of that. Not happy.
Steve Moraff: $20 per quart for strawberries. They probably ought to publicize this price. Also, when we arrived for our children to pick strawberries, they wanted us to pay $20 for someone else's quart of strawberries. Another family seemed to be stuck there, because they picked too many and maybe could not afford so many. Perhaps they did not know the price, as they did not tell us until we asked. They said the strawberries were "super-organic" and criticized organic as having a ton of chemicals anyway. The strawberries were fresh tasting and juicy, and our children loved them. I though they were not sweet and nothing like the strawberries we grew when I was a kid.I was very happy to drive away from the farm, to be quite frank.Oh, I forgot, they warn you not to eat any while you pick, either, so you can be sure to pay for what you pick. Of course no one expects to eat a piece of fruit while at a self-picking farm, right?Edit: Owner claims that not allowing any eating while picking is due to Covid. We were there before Covid, and no eating was allowed then either, so apparently they are a bit dishonest too. I understand that the property is in an expensive area, but that's why no one else has a farm there anymore. There really was a family holed up like hostages not wanting to pay more than $100 for strawberries, since they never imagined such a high price!
Vicky Benedek: AWESOME farm. Took our grandchildren for an outing. Owner gave us a very nice tour and instructed the children on how to feed the animals and how to pick the vegetables. Size of the farm was very suitable for them. Thanks Lauren.
Rebecca Noymer: I had an amazing experience at Meadow Mist Farm. After driving down a dirt road, you find yourself at a hidden gem that feels like rustic Vermont in the middle of Lexington. Everything on the farm is chemical-free. Picking our own blueberries was a treat and the eggs were delicious! This is a really unique farm, would definitely recommend checking it out!
Zhiyun Gao: Cute local farm! Super overpriced!!!If you plan to buy or pick anything, ask for the price first, or you will have to pay over $20 for a pint of blueberry. And you will be told" DON'T put any thing in your mouth, or the police will come and close the farm!!"
eileen crehan: Super cute farm- we took our 18 month old and the ability to switch from picking blueberries to chickens to sheep quickly was great for her attention span. Laura is very sweet, clearly loves what she does, and is great with kids. Can’t wait to go back!
Angel Trata: Quaint farm where you get to pick your own vegetables. Don’t forget to carry your own bag. The farm store is towards the back, there is a small sign that reads farm store and then there are doors to farm store and washroom (basement of the house)You must go through the doors or call the number on google maps.Lauren was wonderful, very passionate about the farm and fresh produce.
Robin Abdallah-Doukkara: Very nice, family run ,farm.A wide variety of products, produce and meat. The owners are very helpful and nice!We will return.
Noel Silva: Best experience ever. Went with my daughter, they showed us a baby lamb, 3 minutes after that we were giving a milk bottle to the lamb, we had a blast. They showed us the entire farm and we were talking for 3 hours. They sell organic veggies, grass fed meat, and fresh eggs. You can sign up to have fresh eggs every week.Really cool experience, and the owners were super nice.
kevin wright: All top-of-the-line vegetables in there and meat not like but you're buying Stop & Shop or anywhere else you can notice the difference right away very high quality produce
Aurea Desousa: Great drive down a dirt road. Super quaint.Lots of Fresh organic veggies, to pick free range eggs, chicken meat, spices and ancient grains !!😍
Alicia Hong: Great veggie picking experience! We had a lot of fun interacting with the farm owner, learning about the farm animals and the verity of veggies there. The peppers, kales and asian pears taste delicious. Highly recommended for a cozy afternoon activity.
Avi Craig: Truly organic, no pesticides, no antibiotics, no herbicides. Nice place!
Ben Barkan: Best farm ever
henry valero patiño: Excelente producción de alimentos vegetales
Srijana Acharya: Fresh stuff
