Jared: NEDC did a gut renovation of our house. The process with them was amazing from start to finish. From our first meeting with the president, Dave Supple, who inspected all corners of house and talked about our goals, to the wrap-up of the punch list with the project manager and lead designer, everything went exceedingly well.The process began with a series of broad design options and price ranges, then settled to one primary design during which we refined all the details and finalize the budget; then we moved onto all the material, appliance and finish selections, which is also done hand-in-hand with NEDC's designers.Once construction began, we had a weekly meeting with the project manager to discuss what had been done the prior week and what was coming. This allowed for timely course correction.The project was completed on time - maybe even a bit ahead of schedule, I don't remember, despite some COVID permitting setbacks - and at the budget that was set at the end of the design process. Optimus Painting: I've had the opportunity to work with Dave and his company on several projects. The quality of their work is superb. As a painting contractor, I'm wary of contractors who often cut corners, leave a messy job-site, and use subpar products. Every single project of NEDC has been very easy to work on. The workmanship and the quality of building products was great which made our job easier. The office manager, Kara, the lead carpenters, and Dave himself were a pleasure to work with. A great design-build company in an industry where it's very hard to find honest and quality work.

Not only did he build the addition, but he also helped us move our daughter’s bed into our son’s room during this project (and back again when the project was over). Dan and Dave kept us updated through phone calls, blog updates and meeting every 14 days. We had a lot of communication with them, and really appreciated that part. We had unexpected discovery asbestos, which they told us about, found a vendor for us, and took care of it professionally.Each subcontractor that came to the site knew the rules, and worked hard in making sure our design became reality.New England Design and Construction finished the project on budget and two days early! I was in my new kitchen for Mother’s Day. Every time I step into the kitchen, I am thankful for New England Design and Construction for making my dream become reality. My husband and I can both be in the kitchen, and not be on top of each other! I highly recommend New England Design and Construction, and look forward to hiring them for my next dream project.
