Museum of Fine Arts, Boston: what do users think?
Angel Carboni: Love the MFA! I don't think words can describe how great and how important it is to go and visit! There's always new things on display and there's always events going on. As a COF student I'm able to get in for free with membership perks however the normal admission is not bad for the quality and quantity of content there is to explore at the museum! Two visits will never be the same because there's just SO much to see! Honestly could take almost a full week if you're there from opening to close to see all of it!

Chris Capuzzo: Truly beautiful museum. A lot of history to learn. There's always something unique to find there. I don't particularly enjoy most art. However walking through the Greek, Asian, European sections was incredible. Even more incredible was the Egyptian exhibit. I felt like I was getting a glimpse of a world long past. Didn't get a chance to see the whole museum before it closed. Definitely plan to come back.

Lori Katz: This is a smaller museum, but they do have thought-provoking exhibits.
Richard W: Maybe I have been spoiled by MoMA but the ICA barely had exhibits. Even though the building is massive from a distance, only one floor displayed artwork. Two of the exhibits were great; one used paper cut-outs to add texture and gossamer colors to paintings, while another used pottery to create unsettling humanoid forms. The other floors were mostly administrative offices. It seemed backwards that a museum is mostly offices instead of artwork. Good quality, lacking in quantity. It is a great place to sit down, relax, and enjoy the views, though.

The museum pieces are nice and there is a wide range of them from tapestries and paintings to an original chapel and furniture. Definitely worth going to instead of or in addition to the MFA. There’s free admission on your birthday or if your name is Isabella.

MIT List Visual Arts Center: what do users think?
COSTER SCOTT: Was enjoyed a Sung Tieu show at the List recently (Wednesday April 5th 2023), - it’s quite beautiful and moving. My thought was that the work didn’t elicit a feeling of isolation - the effect (mostly due to dark ambient music) was pensive, yes, but the space was also quite open. See pictures. The List desk lady told me dismissively that I didn’t understand the work (and couldn’t) because I wasn’t a refugee or seeking asylum. I’m not seeing a whole lot of people seeking asylum here, and quite certain nobody would “get” this work if it didn’t have an essay explaining it. The place is like that these days.
Amy Ouyang: I highly recommend visiting the MIT Arts Center! I enjoyed my time there and the staff were quite helpful!
Van Trieu: This is my third time came here. Lex Brown’s show is great. The staffs also very helpful and answered all my questions.
anulak phanekham: Really enjoyed my time here! Nice staff and great exhibits.

Trey Color: It is a beautiful building but they had some very strange artifacts in the art gallery. The woman who let us in was very helpful in telling us about why they were in such a closed status (covid precautions good for them) and recommending things we should do.I want to go back but I surely would not visit the same gallery once again. I'm sure if I had to pay for it I would have been upset with the trip to the gallery. Maybe if I had read the description it would have been more clear, but I could not even be bothered to do that.

John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum: what do users think?
Robert Sullivan: Great place to visit and learn about politics in the sixties. Get to know more about President John F. Kennedy and the short time he was on this earth and what he contributed to society.
Eng Aaron-Achson: This is a must see! Try to join a guided tour with a docent right from the beginning of the museum (see photo of docent below). I caught the last part the guided tour and he was excellent! There was so much to learn. The greeters at the information desk were very helpful and friendly. On the way out I told them I was vacationing and asked them for suggestions on what to do. They gave me a list of places to visit and their suggestions were all winners! After the visit you can go down by the water and enjoy a nice walk on the walking path.
Marc St-Amour: Wonderfull to visit on a rainy day, but plan your transport in advance, getting a taxi from downtown to the library is easy enough but heading back is a long wait as there are no waiting taxi and some of the local companies will not come and pick you up.
Kevin Eads: One of the nicest presidential museums I’ve visited
William Wu: Wonderful place to visit.
T M: Definitely worth a stop. Also a beautiful location. Regardless of your political views, you can't help but respect the president and administration that saved North America during the Cuban Missile Crisis, put mankind on the moon, and so much more. He was a president to every nation.
bob m: So much to learn here about President Kennedy. Very well laid out and enjoyable. I learned a few things today and saw some neat artifacts. Definitely worth the trip. Eat before you go because there is not much here. There is a display about the kids that is kinda neat, and of course an area dedicated to Jackie. Also his space program dedication is displayed.
Tyler Niccum: Excellent Library!
S Saracco: Wonderful tribute for an inspiring leader
John Lauder: An exceptional experience. JFK was a truly great man. How did a Trump arise from such a great president?
Michele Smith: This is a great museum and tribute to JFK! I really enjoyed seeing the different artifacts and seeing the different sides to both Jack and Jackie!
Felix Andino: Beautiful and big place
Mary Busek-Riley: JFK was amazing during his short life. He did so much for this country that most would not even know without visiting this museum. There are a few short movies and videos throughout that help explain and show his life. Military enter free.
Debra Dabbs: Enjoyed all displays and videos. Had forgotten many things. Very good time
Lincoln Green: Great place with a well presented museum
Photographia 56: Good place to visit to learn about the life of John F Kennedy
Trevor O Sullivan: Incredible. Tells the story of a charming and articulate and caring man. Sections for his brother Bobby and wife Jackie were also superb. Shows all traits of the man from President to father to son.
milo E: Great place
Ian Davis: I took these photos on a Sunday when the library is closed. Beautifully designed building by the great I.M. Pei. Despite the buildings beauty I will be boycotting the library until the US government releases all unclassified intel about the JFK assassination. The magic bullet theory is an entirely baseless explanation and it is abundantly clear our government is hiding something. Hopefully one day the truth will come out and I can give the library a proper visit and I can give it a better rating

Cañones 💣 a tamaño real.

Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum: what do users think?
Leena Appicatlaa: Having read so much about the Boston tea party and its significance on the American war of independence, this was on the to do list in Boston. The tour starts with a meeting similar to what it must have been in the 17th century. An interactive way of getting introduced through actors dressed in the colonial style. The museum has interesting artifacts and a little holographic show. There is also a short movie depicting the events. The tea tasting experience was good and we did take up the bottomless cup to taste all the teas.Overall a great way of learning about history and good for kids too.
Stacie Hines: Very fun experienceVisited on Weekday Wait time 1 hr+ Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry $31+ …More
Elena B: Highly entertaining and enthralling tour, combining different activities: costumed actors impersonate historical persons and recreate events from the past, everyone can throw a tea box into the water and walk on the replica of the 18 century ship, watch dramatic video... A fascinating combination of old artifacts and newest technologies (talking portraits). This tour exceeded my expectations; and totally worthts the money. I highly recomend it.
Mike Rickles: A friend of my daughter had just come to Boston a few months back, so when my wife and I decided we were coming we called her and asked for some travel tips. She recommended we walk the Freedom Trail and go to the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum. Even though she is 27 years younger than us, we respect her opinion and did both. I can't say enough good things about this place! The actors were always in character. Even when I asked questions they answered in character. It was very interactive and interesting. It was history at the core but the audience all seem to be enthralled. Then they added technology in ways I could have never imagined that was so seamless and impressive. I am in my 50's and loved it just as much as the young lady that recommended it to us which illustrates that it is entertaining for all ages. I don't know who runs the show around there but in my opinion they should be given a raise! From beginning to end it was splendid. I think David Letterman used to call this "EDUTAINMENT". And that it is.Highly recommend.
Vee H: Staff were wonderful. They reenact parts during the time Era surrounding the Boston tea party. Tripp Shenton: We have visited Boston a number of times over the past 7 years, for the marathon, and walked by the Tea Party museum a number of times and never went in. We finally did on a recent trip and really enjoyed it. It's a guided tour given by a cast of actors in colonial dress, who tell the story of why there was a tea party in the first place and leading up to the battle at Lexington and Concord. It's a great history lesson. The guides were great and really played the parts. You learn about why they were fighting the taxes, who helped and how they dumped the tea, and other great details. There are some great, high tech, videos in the presentation, including something like a mini-iMAX theater that shows the battle at Lexington. You end the tour in Abigail's tea room. Well worth the $$.

They also have a library of previous catalogs that are fun to browse. Many great restaurants nearby to make an evening of it.
Jordyn Garcia: The gallery is on the smaller side, but I like that it showcases new artists every five weeks. The artist's reception (free to public) is the event to attend--not only is the artist present to explain his/her work, but there is food & wine!
