Steven Roddy: I requested that flowers be delivered to Boston Park Plaza to surprise my pregnant wife, and though I was charged $200+ for flowers they never arrived. I called and text and they made it right and even refunded our money. Though no business is perfect they certainly did their best to make up for it. So while the experience wasn’t what I hoped for they made it right. So I’m giving them a 5 star review

Lindsey Peterson: Don't go here if you want an arrangement for a birthday gift, or dinner party, etc. Maybe they're fine for events or funerals, but I went in to pick up a two arrangements for a theater performance and won't be returning. There was no selection at all. They don't make custom arrangements, you can only pick from what is out. But, there were only two arrangements made and they looked the same. You're not able to add any extra flowers or customize in any way and they only sell roses by the dozen. The woman working told me to go to Stop & Shop. I went down the road to Walk Hill Florist and there was a much better selection and the person working was kind and helpful.
Koriana Bradford: Exotic gets one star because the owner chose to lie instead of simply telling the truth. The orchids I received as a bereavement gift were growing from two separate ”root beds” for lack of a better term; one healthy root and one clearly dying & rotting.When I brought the orchid in to explain, I was told “there’s nothing wrong with the plant… it’s just very dry… they are like people; some robust and some small… leave the roots alone (though CLEARLY dried out with other roots still rotting and incapable of providing water to the plant), repot them in the tight container in which it came, and simply add one cup of water per week.”Meanwhile, the leaves and the flowers are steadily browning (he pulled off the browning leaf at the store) & dying, yet “there’s nothing wrong with the plant”. 👀Like many things these days, I opted to simply Google the problem myself to fix it. Dying roots should NEVER be ignored…Won’t be coming back here; it was very easy to just say, “sorry we just sell the flowers, we don’t give honest feedback on proper care.” From the looks of it, the plant could have been sold in this condition, but without seeing the roots at the time of purchase, one couldn’t tell. Had I purchased it myself I would have made a bigger issue of it, but it was a gift and they were close to closing. What can I say? 🤷🏾♀️
Krissy: I used Exotic Flowers for the first time to send to my aunts funeral services. After looking at least 6 different places this place had the best selection and the best prices so I gave it a try. I saw the flowers tonight all set up in the funeral parlor and they were gorgeous!! We got the deluxe and they were a very good size! I will use them for future orders, was very happy.
c c: For years now we have been ordering are flowers from Exotic Flowers, wouldn't have it any other way. Whatever the occasion, weddings or wakes the flowers are perfectly arranged and seem to last forever. P.S. Some of their delivery vehicles are Hummers and Mercedes. Catherine Regan: I placed an order for a sympathy arrangement(Dish Plants) for a family member in other state. Arrangement rec'd was nothing like that which I ordered. When I called to complain, the CSR I spoke with was immediately Angry, nasty, and blocking any communication I had to voice. She blamed me for the wrong item, and stated that I specified Bright Pink when I spoke to someone. I never spoke to anyone as my order was placed online. She "fluffed" me off repeatedly stating the arrangement was what I ordered. She gave me a bogus reference order# which no one could reference!!! This person was totally rude, obstreperous, and dismissive! No customer needs to be treated in that manner, Whomever she was, she should not have any communications with customers. She also gave me a bogus reference #..... As consumer, we have many options with which to make purchases-mine will never be "Exotic Flowers" of Boston, MA. This is your caveat to avoid being belittled and made to feel stupid. You have been duly informed. P.S.: If there were an option for giving this outfit NO STARS, that would have been my preferred choice. As I live and work in Boston- I'll spread the "word" about the poor treatment I received !

Roland Breneus: The last florist on American Legion Highway. They weren't the first one I used to go to but they are the longest lasting. Covid killed off most of the competition. For last minute or planned occasions they are a great local option.

Sanjay Parker (Duckie Productions): I've shopped at around half a dozen florists in the area but these folks are 100% the best. Easily the best bang for my buck, they really put effort and pride in the arrangement, and they clearly enjoy their job. I'll be back!
Isabel Smith: Everytime I have bought flowers from here they are absolutely beautiful but die within a week (even if I cut the stems and change the water or use distilled water). I bought a calathea plant from here and i put it on my window. My window overlooks an alley and needless to say it barely gets sunlight. It died in less than a month and when I asked for a replacement they refused. I will be taking my business to True Value and Whole Foods whose plants last wayyyyyy longer in my recent experience.

Karam habiballah: Purchased a bouquet a day before valentines the flowers already look dull in less than 24 hrs and keep in mind we transferred them to a vase immediately.The flowers aren’t fresh at all and the water already smells really bad. The bouquet was not cheap at all I always get flower arrangements from this place but lately the quality is been horrible definitely the last time I get flowers from this place. Tired of giving this place a chance. My money went to waste.
Adam Vieth: Purchased 3 bulbous red roses and a few accompanying fern stems for Valentine’s Day 2023, needless to say the flowers looked very nice but around 30 mins after purchase I noticed that they smelled like a rotting fish in the hot summer sun. I had several friends also smell them and they confirmed the putrid scent. I tried getting into contact with the store by calling but never received a response. When paying a premium for flowers I’d at least expect the flowers to not smell like a corpse. Nothing against the workers they were all lovely just disappointing that this occurred.

I went two weeks ago to get a bouquet of flowers for my mom's birthday. I had no idea what to get, just told the girl working that I wanted pink, white, and a hint of yellow. She put together the post gorgeous bouquet for me, and my mom absolutely loved it. She also adores fern, and met the owner on one occasion, who is also lovely. She told him that fern is one of my favorite flower shops and he made me a special bouquet. Absolutely love this place and cannot sing enough praises.
gabby: really nice/helpful employees and great selection, but it seems like everytime I buy a plant from here I get some sort of pest infestation. last year I got aphids + gnats, which I managed to treat, and this September when I moved into a new place I decided to try giving Fern another chance; this time I’m dealing with more gnats and even MILLIPEDES. for such a high price point it’s really disappointing to be dealing with this.

Sana Farooq: Giving 2 stars for delivery speed, but the service and quality was horrible. The person taking my order was oddly very rude to me, and even hung up the phone in the middle of our conversation before confirming the delivery. The details he did share werent even accurate (said it would not be a cube, but a 12-14 inch white vase) and ended up delivering 3 flowers in a cube. For the price point and quality, not worth it at all. Wish I had used a different local company!

She sifted through and found the last dog balloon for me. She even had it blown up and ready for me when I got there. I had never been to the store but from now on I will get my flowers, balloons, and other small decor at this store. It was also VERY covid friendly.

Charlie Gage: Sadly this week I found myself in the hospital unexpectedly. The wonderful people I work with sent me bouquet of flowers which I never saw. I am so angry, upset and let down. I have raved about your company to many people over the years. I have watched a co workers husband send her the most gorgeous arrangements I’ve ever seen year after year. They came to my house, so they say, knocked on my door and when no one answered they took it upon themselves to idk walk across the street to a complete strangers house and leave them with some guy named Bill. Well Bill says he doesn’t have them. I called to explain that I don’t have friendly neighbors and they said it’s the policy. I will never ever recommend you to anyone again. The people I work with are not very happy that they spent a decent amount of money I’m sure on this and you just dropped the ball. Shame on you!!! Up until now I thought from what I have seen that you took pride in your work. I guess not cuz Bill’s lady friend got a nice thing of flowers not me. #disgusted
