No wonder retail is suffering.

Zachary Marcou: The majority of employees at this location, including the assistant store manager(s), need some serious coaching. It seems like there is no supervision by upper management, or some kind of disconnect from leadership, to folks on the floor. All of the outstanding employees last a few weeks at this location, and are never seen again. Most (not all) of the existing staff lacks the knowledge to do their jobs, which is on leadership to correct. I've witnessed three separate occasions where the support desk in the center of the store treated folks so poorly that it devolved into a shouting match. Their attitudes are just putrid, and they wander around in packs to perform basic tasks; it's a massive waste of payroll. A lot these behaviors are correctable, but without a concerted effort, this location will continue to lose out on revenue that would otherwise be secured by outstanding customer service. It's a shame that performance isn't audited seemingly at all. I'm not interested in costing anybody their jobs, but am happy to provide additional detail so that staff may be retrained and coached up properly.

They asked me to leave my MacBook for an entire day for a job that literally takes 10mins!!!After two weeks two of them got detached. I went back to the shop and Raymond tried to help me and asked me to leave my MacBook at the shop for another day, again. He fixed the problem but after one week they have been detached again!!!At this point I decided to give up with this shop and I ended up to do the whole job at home by myself!With only $7, on Amazon I purchased better items for replacement of the feet and I am super happy of the result! So far so good: after one month all the feet seem to behave really well!

Cut me off, didn’t listen to me. Won’t be coming back.

If I wanted a new laptop, I would electronics review sites to see which current laptops were best, then I would go to Amazon or eBay and buy one. I have bought quite a few laptops this way. Best Buy didn't even carry the models I ended up buying in store. It's a good store to go look around. The prices are very close to MSRP, so if you want a discount on your preferred laptop, try eBay or maybe Amazon. Brick and Mortar stores are okay for some things.

Butterism: My experience with this establishment started out a little rough, but was redeemed promptly. When I first contacted the store, I inquired about 4:30-5:00PM drop off time for my computer on a Friday, to which I was told no problem. Unfortunately, when I arrived he was not in the store despite the agreement. I was upset as I work from home, and needed my laptop repaired promptly and to quality. While I set about searching for another Repair Shop, I was contacted by Sam the following week. To my pleasant surprise, he had order the frame needed for my laptop and called me in to fix it. I did not believe I would be contacted again. Let alone him ordering the frame when I haven't even paid for any services. While I still had my reservations, I was still in need of having my laptop repaired, and once again took the trip up to the store. I was professionally greeted while Sam assessed my laptop and said that I could pick it up the following Monday. My laptop was in beautiful condition and Sam did a fantastic job. As I have an HP Envy x360, I took a few days to assess the quality- alternating between tablet mode and folding the screen back at several angles. No issues to be found. Though my first trip left a sour taste in my mouth, Sam has more than redeemed himself and the store. I will once again praise the quality and agree with other reviews that the price was fair. I raise my rating from 2 Stars to 5, I will gladly return for any future issues I may have.

Paulo H. Bignelli Nunes: Good experience at first, I brought my MSI GS-75 due to the GPU fans running really loudly, so I left it there for week. The fans were replaced, I opened up the computer and the sound was gone - everything was in order apparently. However, as I got home and used the laptop normally, it was heating up very quickly, and the no wind was coming off from the GPU fans. The fans had been replaced, though they didn't work at all. I went back and left it for another week so another replacement could be installed. Same issue. I paid 144 dollars and spent over a month for a delayed service and more problems as my original fan was lost in the repair shop - I couldn't get a refund nor any further support.

I brought my MSI GS65 stealth thin to have the right fan replaced because of excessive noise while in use. Took about a week to receive my laptop back (part took about that long to get in) and he opened my laptop to the lock screen to show me the sound was gone. When I had went home to use my laptop it made no sound until I actually started running programs and playing games. There is still a sound, but it isn't nearly as loud as before. Still concerned and may have it checked again soon somewhere else. Another thing is that I received a completely different charger than I had brought in with my laptop when I went to pick it up. I didn't notice until I plugged it in and it took a very long time to charge my laptop. This isn't the original charger that came with my laptop.
Mary Bichner: Love this place! This is now my third time bringing an item to Back Bay Computer for repair, and each time I have, I have had an excellent experience. Sam is very knowledgable and is able to determine both the problem and its solution extremely quickly. Additionally, all of the prices for the repairs I have had done have been very affordable/reasonable, especially in light of Back Bay Computer's high-quality service and quick turnaround times. Highly recommended!

Raj S: If you're not a Computer Savy, Stay away from an Open Box Electronic Products.Recently I bought All in one Desktop from Best Buy Braintree. The website said "Open-Box Certified & Satisfactory". It also said "Any signs of use will not impact performance".Here is what I discovered when I brought the Computer home. The computer was in a regular Cardboard box. It had a label with my name on it, but the Product Detail label was completely for a different computer. Luckily the Computer was the one I wanted. Did not receive any paperwork including Warranty, Registering Computer, Manual or even a Receipt.Technical Part: The Computer Storage was supposed to be for 512 GB. When I turned on the computer, it only showed 265 GB available. (The System Files doesn't use 247 GB's.). The warranty was supposed to be for one year but it was expiring in two months. Had to call the Manufacture & was extended. The Wireless Keyboard/Mouse were supposed to be on a same USB Port but mine is using two different ports and that also different colors of White & Black when the Monitor is Silver.All of this should've been inspected prior. I still don't know what was certified and satisfactory to who! I did not return it, because the price was good and two stars of rating is for that.
Reviewer 51: I purchase an GE refrigerator. Paid for 5 year protection. During these 5 years we had to call them several times to come fix broken parts. The refrigerator ended up leaking and messing up our floor. Best Buy sent our damage claim to Sedgwick. They are horrible! It's been over a year of getting the roundabout and nothing is resolved. I have called Best Buy but they say it's not on them anymore. I have called/emailed over 50 times and nothing is getting resolved Becareful and ask who the protection company is or where they will send your claim of you ever have one. Never accept Sedgwick they are the worst.
