Rod Spokane: This is a MUST VISIT when in Boston as its literally a landmark! Every pastry you can imagine and perfectly prepared and amazing. From our first meeting to the last dance at our wedding, the staff at the Hampshire House went out of their way to make us feel like we were the only couple they were working with. How anyone plans a wedding without Michele is a mystery. Her and Karim’s attention to detail is unbelievable - absolute masters of their craft. Whether we were planning the menu or trying to figure out how to get a processional full of kids down the aisle, they were by our side bringing our wedding vision to life. When life threw us a curveball and forced us to postpone our big day, the compassion and empathy the folx at the Hampshire House showed absolutely blew us away and it was like no time had passed when we were ready start planning again a few months later. While the professionalism and service are reason enough to plan your wedding here, you can’t talk about this place without raving about the venue itself. Perfectly situated across from the Public Garden and nestled in Beacon Hill, you couldn’t ask for a more picturesque place to get married. The library is a stunning setting to say I do, and the whole house evokes a kind of historical warmth and charm you can’t find at any other venue in Boston. We also have to take a minute to mention how phenomenal the food was too. Every hors d’oeuvre and dish was perfectly made, and the staff even went out of their way to label everything for our guests with allergies. We feel so lucky to have been able to get married at here, work with the incredible staff, and share such a cool, historic venue with our guests. If you want a worry free wedding at a gorgeous venue with the best service you could ever ask for, do yourself (and your guests) a favor and say “I Do” at Hampshire House, you won’t be disappointed. Jenna Carlson: Hampshire House was mine and my husband's dream venue. The grounds are gorgeous; they simply cannot be beat. One of the things we loved the most about this unique space was the food offering. The moment we saw the menu, we were blown away. Our guest still rave to this day about how amazing their experience was, especially how outstanding the food items were. The passed hors d'oeuvre were exquisite, the first course was executed perfectly, and all entrees were cooked to perfection. What's even more amazing is the staff at Hampshire House, especially Michele. We began to plan our wedding 2 years out. Michele was with us for the entire 2 years, even when it was unnecessary at times. The teams is efficient, accommodating and so professional. There was never a time that I needed anything. I struggle now to put into words, just how absolutely perfect Hampshire House is. Our wedding was such a dream come true, and it would have not been possible without Hampshire House!! 100/10 perfection!

The ceremony, dinner, and dancing were all held in the massive library, and it was gorgeous. They had fully working fireplaces for our cold November wedding, which really set the mood. Probably more importantly, the food was outstanding. Our family and friends are all foodies, and if the food was bad, we would have heard about it until the end of time. Instead, people could not get over how amazing both the cocktail hour food was, but also the dinner hour.While the space was stunning to begin with, one of the main considerations in picking this venue was the staff. Everyone was so helpful and attentive to our needs right from the start. They made the whole experience as stress free as possible. The Director/Coordinator, Michele Giacomozzi was amazing. She was always there to answer any questions we had or offer any help she could. Michele did an outstanding job the day of, left us feeling stress free and allowed us to live in the moment.We had so many compliments afterwards about the food, the beauty of the space, and especially the stunning views of the public gardens. We could not have imagined a more perfect day.

I just ordered some cakes and pies there for Easter and they don’t disappoint! All cakes come on a cake plate which is very convenient. They are packed during the holidays but they have a good service going to get you your order without having to wait in a long line.

Roisin Moranian: We planned our wedding starting in 2018 for October 2020. Our wedding at Spinelli's was cancelled. The staff at Spinelli's were so kind, understanding and professional. Our pandemic refund was sent back to us in a timely manner.In October 2022, we had a rescheduled wedding celebration. We had about 175 guests in the large ballroom on the first floor - the Tuscany room. The wedding, from beginning to end, was spectacular.Over half of the guests at our wedding, who we know go to many weddings in many wonderful locations, contacted us directly to let us know the food at our wedding was the best they had ever had. The table settings were beautiful. The bartenders were quick, efficient and the drinks were flowing all night. We had access to the deck - a lovely setting for our fall evening wedding.The staff at Spinelli's are thoughtful, caring, kind, patient and our wedding... 4 years in the making... was perfect. There were a few hiccups - guests who arrived after RSVPing that they couldn't attend...and yes... even a wedding crasher... and as the bride I did not directly have to do any of the fixing, the staff handled it all with such grace. Couldn't have asked for a better crew!Thank you to everyone at Spinelli's for making our wedding with loved ones so special after such a long wait.

Joshua Block: My son asked for a strawberry shortcake for his birthday this year, so of course I headed to Spinelli’s bakery on route 1 to get it. Never disappointed as anything you purchase is absolutely delicious and the strawberry shortcake was no exception! Light, sweet, moist and the most delicious whipped cream frosting laid on thick, the middle of the cake filled with lots of strawberries it is a masterpiece! Of course I had to purchase a chocolate chip cannoli and some Italian butter cookies to eat on my way home! I’ll be back for more stuff very soon 😂

Colleen Falzone: I ordered a banana cream pie for Christmas dinner a week prior and on Christmas Day we opened up and it was a Blueberry pie! I brought back the pie and explained to the Manager what happened and he just apologized and said I credit your account. I said what will you do to compensate me? He said I will give you a Credit towards another item. I tried for another Banana Cream pie on New Year Eve. When we had the pie there was a very thin graham crust, no bananas, no taste of bananas. the whole pie was all whipped cream. I will never go to Spinelli’s Bakery again and certainly never recommend it to anyone.

Not only are they punctual and professional, Soraya and her team are super kind and very accommodating to their customer's dietary restrictions and other needs. At my wife's and my wedding we had a few dietary restrictions and our guests had a diverse range of palates from Italian to Indian food lovers. We had stuffed shells, masala dosa, bruschetta, as well as pani puri and other chaats to name a few dishes. SYB was very good at asking about specific dietary restrictions from the beginning, working with us to make the menu, and offering suggestions and helpful advice since this was our first time using a catering company. Also I highly recommend SYB's tiramisu and cheesecake bites. So yummy! On the day of the wedding they set everything up, served everything themselves,and cleaned up after themselves. If you need a catering company they are the ones to call!

The food was the most important part of our wedding to us and we wanted to take a unique approach. We worked with Soraya to plan a menu that we were hugely excited about. She tailored everything to our preferences! She even put together an incredible at-home tasting for us during COVID. Soraya also acts as a day-of coordinator and her attention to detail really put my mind at ease in the days leading up. The food and service at the reception was out of this world. All of our guests were raving all night long from the passed apps, to the raw bar to the stations with live chefs. Soraya and her team could not have done a better job helping us bring our vision to life.

For several months before the event Soraya was actively in communication with us over email, coordinating food tastings and making sure we got the menu we wanted for the budget we had (prices were going up as the date neared and she made every effort to keep our costs low, for which we are very thankful!).We met her at the venue before the wedding where she walked us through what she usually does for that location and took all of our input to make the event as smooth as possible. She also coordinated with outside suppliers we needed, such as for the drinks and linens rentals. That was a big relief for us, trying to keep everything else about the wedding straight!On the day of the wedding, her staff leader Maria was at the venue bright and early to prepare. They were a well-oiled machine and we didn't have to worry about anything. The food (including some special request Russian appetizers) was delicious and served on time for each course. The staff in and out of the kitchen were the subject of many compliments that we received during and after the wedding. Soraya wasn't at the wedding itself, but her staff knew all of our plans and knew exactly what to do and when.We would highly recommend SYB Events Catering to anyone planning a wedding!

All of our guests loved her and still talk about how she so flawlessly handled the entire night. She kept us sane through planning, gave us the wedding of our dreams and helped us host an event that was enjoyed by so many! Hire her— you will not regret it!!!!

sepehr salimi: I would give Soraya and her team a 5+ star if this was an option. She provides the best in class service for the same price as other event planner/coordinators and her catering services is top notch. I would strongly recommend Soraya’s services for your event (our event was a wedding), especially if you have cultural elements at your event. She listens intently, she will study/learn your culture, and she will deliver exactly what you ask for (unlike other caterers and planners that I talked to before stumbling upon Soraya). Fortunately for us, she knew more about the Persian culture than I did (and I was born in Iran). She is from a multi-cultural background herself and has built a wide network of relationship with chefs and vendors from various backgrounds.I would also strongly recommend couples to pay for her ‘day of’ or ‘month of’ coordination services. It is worth every penny. My wife and I weren’t sure if we wanted to pay extra for that. Thank God we decided to opt in for her ‘day of coordination’ services and if I had to do it all over, I would probably pay for her ‘month of coordination’ services. If you can’t afford her ‘month of’ services, make sure that you at least get her ‘day of’ services. I promise you that it will be 1000% worth it. Ask Soraya and she’ll explain to you why you need it. Also, she has a way of making things work.Soraya, thank you for making our wedding the best day/night of our life yet. You have an awesome team too!

Soraya was crucial in the month leading up to our wedding in helping us stay organized, coordinating all the vendors, and ensuring everything ran smoothly on the big day. Nicole Awad: Planning a wedding in the middle of a pandemic was uncharted territory for anyone this year. Soraya jumped in right when I needed her with what questions to ask my venue on how to ensure I was still going to get the wedding of my dreams. I planned everything last minute due to such uncertainty and Soraya was there with contacts for me from someone to rent chairs from literally last minute as my other vendor fell through. She connected me to the most amazing videographer when we decided last minute that we wanted one. Soraya has such amazing relationships with all these vendors and I knew I could trust her judgement with these referrals. She works all hours and is always accessible for any question you may have. Christine Lee Kim: Hands down the best hotel in the back bay! The mandarin oriental Boston is my home whenever I am in Boston. Love that it is located right in the heart of back bay, walking distance to all the good shopping, perched on top of the Prudential Centre. The newly renovated rooms make for a better lit and ethereal environment. The daily complimentary hot chocolate with fixin’s and beignets were an extra treat. Look forward to my next stay!

Anthony R: Along with the Four Seasons Back Bay, this Mandarin Oriental is our favorite place to stay while visiting Boston. You absolutely can't beat this hotel's location. It is situated right in the heart of everything that is the best of Boston. The rooms, service, and decor of this property is top notch as well. Best of all, they treated our dog Bella like a princess during our visit! We will definitely return and would highly recommend this property, especially if your pet is tagging along!

Colleen Ryan: My husband and I absolutely loved having our wedding at Boston Winery. It was a great location for us and our families, the perfect size for a small-to-medium event (we had ~90 people), and the venue is just so pretty. We loved dancing under the string lights, having our ceremony surrounded by wine barrels, eating at long tables with our friends and family (also made it more flexible to do the seating chart than mostly rounds!), drinking their amazing selection of wine, and enjoying the beautiful ivy-lined patio with the breeze of the habor on our backs. Our guests just loved this “hidden gem” in the city and we were so happy to introduce it to them. We didn’t need to do much to make the space beautiful. They were also very acommodating for the many gluten allergies we had (myself included). It can be tough to eat at weddings with an allergy, but no one left hungry. Michelle and her team made sure out guests had a great time, and were very easy to work with.

James Toms: What a gem!!! Tucked away just off I-93 you might as well be going to Tuscany or Abruzzi. The family brings personal attention and knowledge to each barrel and bottle of their fine wines. Vito represents the family extremely well and demonstrates the passion required to make fine wine.I suggest a trip to their winery on a quiet weekday if you want to learn to appreciate the skill required to make remarkable wine!

John Powers: Went for the first time last night. Great experience! Ralph and Vito were extremely friendly and they taught us a bit about each pairing and how they went about building out the pairings. We will be going back soon, and left with 2 bottles to take home

brittany lewis: I had my wedding at the Boston winery and it was beyond perfect. Michelle is hands down the best person to work with to make sure all your needs are met come the day of your wedding. The food was exceptional, all of my guests got in touch with me after the wedding to note how awesome the food was and how gorgeous the venue was, with the Boston skyline hovering in the background. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to party after I got married.

Sara M: Went for the Wednesday night wine tasting. For the price, it was a great deal. Very nice pairings and the wines were all good. I wish the tasting was a tad more informative with maybe a presentation or written descriptions/ history of the operation, but still for the price it was very very good.

My daughter and I were given an impromptu private tour by the owner himself. The wine selection and prices are amazing and now the only place I want to give my business. If you love family run, quality wine, professional and friendly service you must come here and support the locals.

Laurie Crawford: I brought my husband here as part of our day planned to celebrate his 50th. He was a little skeptical when he saw that they pick the wines for you for the tasting. We usually only like a select few types of wines but we were both blown away that we liked all 5 of the wines that were chosen for us! We never would have tried half of the wines we tasted if it were our choice. We liked the wine so much we bought 6 bottles. Safety protocols were followed and the staff was welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back to try more wines. They change the tasting menu each week.

Hannah O Toole: Came here for my friends Bachelorette party. There was 12 of us 6 on each table. The ambience and decor setting is very nice. Ralph served us and we had fun chatting with him. He was super friendly and very attentive with topping up the wine. Would recommend coming here.
