Johanna Russell: Staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful! Went in to test out strollers and compatible infant car seats. Owner took the time to walk us though each one and allow us to test them outside. Highly recommend for first time parents!

In there Instagram video they don’t seem that way, which is why I decided to take the drive to there store because I felt like they would able to help me. Never got acknowledgement. When I asked a question the answer was so dry. The store overall and clean and has all the needs
Peter Marston Jr: We came to Boston for a getaway weekend and as soon as we arrived at the hotel we realized I forgot the accessory that attaches to our stroller in order to have both our kids ride along in it. We searched online to find a stroller at a bunch of places and no one had any in stock. We found Tadpole on Clarendon street, we called them and they had them in stock. So we went there and bought a new Thule double side by side stroller. The staff put the new one together for us, had a bike pump to pump the tires up and they kept the stroller we had until the end of the day so we didnt have two strollers while we were wandering around Boston with a couple toddlers. They went above and beyond. Would certainly recommend!
Darya Shcherbakova: I love shopping at Tadpole. It’s my favorite children store in the Boston area. Ana, the owner of the shop, is very friendly and was very helpful and knowledgeable when we tried to figure out what preparation we needed to do at home for our first baby. Me and my husband both felt so lost and overwhelmed with the amount of information thrown online at soon to be parents, that it was very refreshing to talk to someone in flesh and wind down all the worries. Ana also explained everything there is to know about choosing safe car seats and addresses our needs. When the car seat was ordered, she kindly helped with the installation and took her time explaining how to use it. If you are looking for no nonsense help and stock of children’s goods check out the Tadpole.

Harrison Bane: The ownership and staff has an incredible commitment to their community, it's actually unbelievable. Today, the owners spent OVER AN HOUR helping my wife install a ridiculously complicated carseat that we DIDN'T EVEN PURCHASE FROM THEM. In the 4 years of shopping with them, they have always maintained this same standard of service, bravo Tadpole!

SOON basically being in a Kid robot store IRK was super exciting for me!!! It's fun to check out all the bizarre but awesome things so many artists end up creating and I think it represents so much of what HEIGHT is.Check it outta and bring money if you're like me and love these things....
Lindsey Sandell: My husband and I registered here last year when we were expecting our first child. We could not have had a better experience. Not only do they hand select the best items out there (allowing you to avoid being frustrated and overwhelmed at the big box stores), but the staff and owner is incredible and extremely knowledgeable. It continues to be such a great experience each time we shop there. We have also purchased gifts for others and they do a great job gift wrapping. Overall a great shop and one I would strongly recommend for baby gifts or for your own registry.

The clothing and accessories for baby's, boys and girls are adorable, it's hard to limit yourself, so many great options. Astrid and her staff are extremely helpful and always guide you in the right direction. Neighborhood staple, and easily the most charming and high quality children's store in Boston!
Susana C.: It's a must see! CouCou is a special place. It's not your average baby store nor is it an overpriced boutique. There is a little something for everyone but the selection is very well curated. The staff and owner are always pleasant and well informed. One can shop in comfort as there is no pretentious off- putting harassment to make a purchase (which can be somewhat of a rarity in Boston). CouCou carries many quality European clothes and toys and those little oddities that take you back to your own childhood. Best of all there is a play area in the back of the store to keep your little ones busy while you shop.

My son gets tons of compliments on his adorable outfit from CouCou, not to mention our gorgeous handmade toy box that is every bit as beautiful as it is functional. My understanding is the owner sources from Europe and small designers in the states. If you are looking for special things for your own or for a present, this is your place!

Amy Murphy: The worst customer service you will experience, consistently. Anyone can have a bad day, any business can experience one of those days where nothing goes right, but this place is constantly like a flaming inferno of awfulness.On two occasions over 3 months, their receipt printers didn’t work. Prepare to ALWAYS take at least 20 minutes to check out - even if you’re the only one in line.You may or may not get a greeting when you walk in, and if you do, you will likely be misdirected to the wrong part of the store for your needs.The clothes are cute but the experience just isn’t worth it, save your blood pressure and shop elsewhere.
Caitlin Cullinane: Horrible service. Went in there to buy some nice clothes for my niece and the workers took one look at me and decided I wasn't worth their time. I wasn't even greeted until I said hello to them first, which wouldn't have bothered me if it weren't for the fact that the next three customers that came in after me got the nicest greetings and customer service whereas I just got dirty looks and was completely ignored. Needless to say, I walked out without buying anything. I've had issues with this shop before so it honestly shouldn't surprise me.

Kaitlin Dowgin: Horrendous customer service under the management of Shelby. She rings up returns incorrectly, missing items and keeping the merchandise you've paid for without refunding you. I realized when I got home, and she wouldn't do a phone return, saying I had to come back into the store. I HAVE A CHILD. I can't just POP IN WHENEVER. I asked to speak to her district manager and she wouldn't provide her name. She wouldn't put me on the phone with a co-worker, saying she was on break. Before this incident, there was a time she wouldn't let me purchase an item over the phone and hold it for me behind the counter for two days. DON'T SUPPORT LOCATIONS THAT TREAT CUSTOMERS POORLY. If you love the clothes, like I do, simply buy it all online and RETURN IT IN STORE TO HER. Just watch her like a hawk when she does it and check your receipt. In-person businesses can't take their customers for granted nowadays. They have to compete with online orders. If they aren't going to have good customer service, then shop elsewhere or use them as online purchase RETURN HUBS and see how long they last.
Maryanne Rhoads: Be very wary of ordering clothes with Shelby at this location. She took my credit card number and charged my card. I waited two weeks for my order to come and got nothing. I've been speaking to her all morning. She is rude, condensing and doesn't tell the truth. She never actually placed the order. I asked her to speak to the district manager, Terry. She told me she was at another store, but refused to tell me where she is. Horrible customer service experience. I've been a customer for 8 years. I guess it's time to shop elsewhere! To top it off, my clothes are still not on the way.

Although the majority of the staff leans to ladies and lasses so I'll give it a weak 8.5 / 10.I would be willing to adjust my score favorably if dogs were somehow implemented into the experience however.

I also love that her store now carries Mommy and Daddy versions in some of her items allowing for fun for the whole family.
Meredith Parkinson: We love shopping at Mockingbird for clothes for our kids, gifts, books, and gear, and bribing our kids with visits to the store to pick out something from the toys and games room. Lauren, the owner, has lovely taste that is a mix of classic and trendy. She stocks a remarkable variety of items for how organized and streamlined the shopping process is, and she's super helpful and willing to go out of her way to make sure you get what you need. Mockingbird is a staple of the Charlestown commercial community, but worth traveling to from outside of the neighborhood as well. We can't say enough good things about it!

The women working there were so helpful and I found what I was looking for! All of the products were well thought out during the buying process by the owner. There are some more expensive items, but there are also reasonably priced items (for a children's boutique). Will definitely come back.

And Baby's A Go was great at making alternate arrangements when our original drop-off didn't work. The only thing I would encourage is that they try to make their web interface and email communication more modern; as a first time user I was at times wondering if it would really work. But of course I now know that it does!"
Covet Donishia: This service is so convenient! I love to travel, but baby gear is quite cumbersome to travel with. Having a car seat waiting for us when we got there was extremely helpful. They delivered it and picked it up. It couldn’t have been easier!

Maryam Aljalabi: I would give them no stars if I can. Super rude, unprofessional manager. Gave us a broken stroller, put our kids in danger, promised us a full refund, but ended up stealing 80% of our money. If your kids safety is important, I advise you NOT to deal with this place.
