My family who doesn’t like sweets as much, even loved the cake and when I told them there was a matcha black sesame they wanted to try it right away. Hope you all give this place a try, it will totally be worth it! Sadly, they only book online so make sure to make your preorders early!

I asked her for the coffee & cookies and cream cake that she has on the menu and asked her if she could do some modifications and include another flavor that I knew my husband would love for his birthday cake. She was very nice and with no hesitation she agreed to help me out with this. The cake was absolutely delicious and beautiful!! My husband and I absolutely loved everything about the cake and we cannot wait to ask her to make us another cake in the future. I cannot recommend her enough.
Yi Chen: I ordered a Birthday cake for my wife and decided to get the orange chiffon cake from Whiskful and it was absolutely delicious. The whipped creme icing was super fluffy. The cake was very light and balanced. One of the best cakes we ever had and would highly recommend Whiskful. Be sure to order ahead of time as they are very busy. We picked up the cake in Somerville and it was super organized.

Yevgeniya Maryash: I wanted a cream and milk free cake with matcha flavor (I'm okay with butter and eggs) and I emailed Jessey to talk about what kind of a cake that would work with. She crafted a dairy free chiffon with matcha cake layers and butter frosting with some fruit on top. It was truly beautiful and even more delicious. It was made on time, even slightly earlier. Pickup was seamless. She's a sweet and talented person, extremely talented. The cake was gorgeous in addition to being incredibly delicious.

Amelia Charles: Absolutely outstanding! The breakfast sandwich was heavenly, so thoughtfully composed, and the egg is whipped almost to a custard. We were charmed by the lovely staff. Neighborhood gem worth crossing the city for.

Madeleine Song: I cannot say enough wonderful things about La Saison. Their espresso is the best I've had since Italy, their staff is the sweetest and most attentive, and their pastries are an out of this world experience. They have an incredible selection of Persian pastries (the Kouign-amann!!!), cookies, and breads in addition to all the traditional French and American cafe classics. Although there were many products with nuts, they are very allergy friendly and were easily able to accommodate mine.I was also lucky enough to have popped in on a pizza day and got to try their fluffy, crunchy sourdough crust. I wish I could have tried a slice of every flavor, but alas I only had room for the dreamy cauliflower and béchamel. I must return to try them all!
Ayon Ibrahim: The Tehran Fog was a lovely drink, but my kouign-amann was just okay. The decor/theme is nice. Overall, this is worth visiting, but I'm not sure I'll be coming back. Fairly pricey.Also, this is a small place, so keep that in mind if you were thinking this was a cafe where you wanted to do work or something.
Sumit Aggarwal: We went to this bakery when it first opened and it was great. The owner used to be there and the quality of the food and service was extremely high. Unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill fast. The owner is more busy opening new locations rather than ensuring high quality,. We got the chocolate croissants, Kuhn-a-mon and zatar scones this weekend. Very average. They’ve changed the chocolate they use, reduced the amount and reduced the amount of butter so the croissants were not as flaky as they used to be. Service was awful too. Only giving one star because of the Kuhn a mon. This is now no better than most other bakeries and just a couple of steps above Whole Foods!

Kristen Fliss: If you’re looking for an authentic, family-run bakery since 1906 (first to introduce pizza to New England), filled with photos on the walls of their lineage, and quality products not overwhelmed by an abundance of choices…classics including Napolitana pizza, breads, cannoli, cookies and pastries…this is a must-stop on your visit to “Little Italy.” You can see the family members working in the back preparing the products. If you’re lucky, Matt will emerge from the back to wait on you. We stopped by several times and he was the reason we kept going back. He was kind, personable, patient and shared some of his family history with us. A visit is more of an Italian bakery “experience” which happens to serve delicious homemade products…the best! Our faves were the cheese pizza, cannoli and macaroon cookies. Stop by…you will not be disappointed!🇮🇹🍕🍰

It was better after coming home and reheating in the oven. At least the bottom had some crisp and was less doughy, but very greasy. I imagine it is decent fresh but unfortunately didn’t get to try it like that. Would go back though to try pastries.
Hidden Gem: I was a little disappointed by the square pizza. Extremely greasy and very soggy. Willing to give it another shot based on reviews. Might call in an order for a pie so I know it’s fresh as opposed to grabbing what’s already on the counter

arthur papazian: I had the bakery style Sicilian pizza 2 days ago at 1am, technically called sfincione Sicilian style pizza. Meaning spongy, but anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I wanted to know exactly what kind of pizza that is because we had a bakery in watertown called cantones bakery thats been closed more than 20 yrs. They had this pizza and it was soft and (juicy) if that makes any sense. Anyway this is the first place since then that I have found this style or can also be referred to as old style Sicilian pizza. Delicious!Also I believe it's supposed to be eaten at room temperature not heated. Might be personal preference but never had it hot.😋

Deb Raschi: I ordered two cakes and cookies. Butter cookies yummy. The blackberry cake was quite good/moist and flavorable. The lemon cake was less flavorable and overcooked and dry. I may not order that one again. It was a holiday week which may have been extra busy.

Lcee C (Lcee): My daughter was finally having her 2020 Commencement ceremony from Boston College. I needed a last minute dessert for a party of 40. I was panicked because I’m 15 hours away and had only 24 hours till the party. Most bakery’s in the area required a min. 48 hours to order. I took a chance and called SWEET ROSSELLA’s bakery. The gentleman I talked with was kind and extremely helpful. He helped me select the perfect dessert. He promised to have the dessert delivered to my hotel prior to my arrival so it would be ready for the party. At the exact time promised, my BEAUTIFUL cookie trays were delivered and I received an email to let me know they were at the hotel. As wonderful as the service was, the dessert was even better! The cookies were stunning to look at and tasted amazing! Everyone at the party raved about the cookies. I would give this bakery a 10 star rating if I could! The service, presentation and TASTE can not be beat! Sweet ROSSELLA’s has become my go to bakery in the Boston area!

Tuesday LTSG: I started ordering from Rosella almost two years ago and, regretfully, didn't know I could post a review!! Embarrassing! I was looking for an Italian pastry experience unlike all the other standard Italian pastry shops. I was lucky to find Rosella! Her ordering process, her pick-up and delivery are great but nothing compares to the joy in her baked goods. There is no one favorite, but her fig cookies are out-of-this-world incredible! All of her goods are incredible!
D D: I ordered two cakes to be delivered at a specific date and time and Sweet Rossella made it happen flawlessly! Rave reviews from the recipients for both the Piedmont Soft Tart and the Panarellina. I live many states away from MA and Sweet Rossella Bakery made it so easy for me to celebrate the accomplishment of a dear friend!
Rick Jeffs: I really want to give this one a 5 star, but it honestly wasn't there. The order process was very good and they were very responsive and good to work with. The chocolate cake was beautiful and the flavor was great. The one shortcoming was that it was not a moist cake at all. It was surprisingly dry and readily crumbled when served.

KaLe E: Arrived on Saturday late morning for lunch. Ordered two sandwiches: braised lamb, and achiote chicken! Wanted go indulge and get the sticky buns for dessert, but atlas they ran out already.Both sandwiches were 10/10!!!!!The lamb was flavorful and very filling. Whereas the achiote chicken was light and refreshing.Meter street parking is available.

I’ve worked and lived in the area for over 15 years but never went in until this year—didn’t even know about it.I first went there to sample some desserts as we were planning my son’s Bar Mitzvah. I got the mini chocolate truffle bomb, brought it back to work and shared bites with my co-workers. I heard a lot of superlatives—everybody liked it.We ended up getting too much dessert for the Bar Mitzvah—a half-sheet each of chocolate brownies, lemon burst bars, caramel brownie squares and chocolate chip cookie squares. If you need a dessert fit for a crowd of 20-40 people, this is a good place to find. If you’re Kosher, you’ll have to save it for after the milchig or pareve meals.

They were perfectly soft and chewy, with just the right amount of sweetness. I especially loved the variety of flavors they had to offer - especially the Boston Lager Chocolate ChipI also had the pleasure of working with Heather, who was incredibly helpful in creating custom cookies for the Boston Marathon. She went above and beyond to make sure we had exactly what we needed, including custom stickers for the packaging. It was such a great experience working with her, and it really showed how dedicated Top Shelf Cookies is to their customers.Overall, I can't recommend Top Shelf Cookies enough. I had no clue what I wanted to say on the packaging, she was so helpful in sending me some ideas and links to the labels she has made. I also really wanted to find a way to incorporate my dog, Gunner. I had originally sent her a generic "thank you" on them but mentioned my dog and sent a picture not sure if she would be able to do anything with it. She completely blew us away with the label! Not only where the cookies individually wrapped and with the cutest picture on them but the cookies are SOOO GOOD!! We did half chocolate chip and half Boston Lager chocolate chip, both are so damn good! We received so many compliments on them and they all went! I would highly recommend Heather and the team at Top Shelf cookies!

All I’ll say is, if I lived near Bova’s I’ll gain twenty pounds in a year.

Mine was a latté and my daughter got an americano. Both were awful and after just 2 sips we dumped them. What a waste of product and money. Maybe it was a one off.. but, it was so bad I won't try again. I cannot recommend this place for coffee.

I was hosting a bridal shower and the bride has Celiac disease so I needed gluten free cupcakes. Galits went FAR above and beyond to make the most beautiful and tasty cupcakes for the shower and I could not be more grateful! I recommend them over and over and cannot wait for my next trip back, thank you!

Closest I've ever had to pastries I've tried in Israel. And their babka...if you're craving Marzipan Rugelach, the babka will fill that craving.
