Kelly Porter: Chef Harold is fantastic! He brought all of the ingredients and equipment and we made so much incredible sushi. He's also very fun and a great teacher. Highly recommend booking this for a date night or event with friends/coworkers.
Katie: This class was wonderful and met all our expectations! Chef Harold was very kind and easy to talk to. He shared great tips about how to make our own sushi and the food was delicious!
Noelle Tota: I can’t say enough about my Cozymeal experience with Chef Antonio. I bought a pasta cooking class for my boyfriends parents and the two of us as a birthday gift.We didn’t know what to expect as we’ve never done a cooking class or made pasta from scratch before… What an awesome and fun experience! Chef Antonio was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He educated us on the roots and history of the pasta we were making - and everything we learned can now be translated into making this on our own in our own homes!I highly recommend this as a memorable gift for any occasion, a fun date night, or if you’re just looking to learn - a unique and intimate learning experience.Thank you Chef Antonio!
Carrie Reid-Knox: We had a great time at our class with Chef Vanessa! She gave great instructions and demonstrations, and the meal that we made was delicious. She also gave us a lot of great tips about places to eat and shop for food around the area. Would definitely recommend taking a class with her!
Katelyn Murphy: Chef Harold was the best! We had such an amazing time and the food was incredible! Definitely a fun way to celebrate a birthday!
Casey Ciapciak: Melissa’s dumpling class exceeded our expectations! We had such a great time, the food was delicious, and Melissa is so sweet. The class was set up perfectly. We appreciated all the cooking tips, the fresh organic ingredients, and Melissa’s insight into the food and culture surrounding the food. Also, the class was BYOB and prior to the class Melissa went out of her way to give us some thoughtful recommendations. We went with her favorite Japanese beer which was so delicious I will continue to buy it. We left feeling like we could replicate our own dumplings at home and are excited to do so. She is a great chef, teacher, and person. And a plus - we got to take extra dumplings home which we devoured immediately! Thank you to Chef Melissa.
Rachel Fontana: Amazing experience! Chef Melissa is a talented and fun teacher. Food was incredible!
Alexander Perugini: Our chef was great and the experience was amazing! I learned some cooking techniques I’ll definitely be using

Jillian Rossi: We had such an amazing time at Chef Melissa’s ramen making class. She was extremely helpful, insightful and makes class so fun! We’re already having a craving for more ramen and are going to try and recreate the recipe tonight. We will also absolutely be adding okonamiyaki to our dinners. Thank you Chef Melissa!
Eddie Richard: Chef Vanessa was amazing! Met and exceeded all of my expectations with cooking knowledge, helpfulness, and personality. Highly recommend!
Amanda Moore: Chef Lisa was great! She made my daughter and I feel very welcome during the whole time. She knew her stuff and she gave us tips that we could use at home. Definitely would book her again!
Jessica Pitocco: Chef Vanessa was a wonderful teacher and host! My friend and I learned so much, and the food was delicious. Plenty of leftovers... The class was accessible for both regular cooks and newbies like me. Would highly recommend!
Samson Lewis: We had an amazing experience with Chef Melissa! Great cooking environment, great teacher, and above all else, great food! This was a fun experience that we highly recommend.
Amy Wolfson: Great night!
Bruno “B” M: Excellent cooking class and had great fun. Chef took time to explain us recipe, teach us how to do it and left a clean kitchen.
Sarah Holden: Shailini cooked up an amazing amount of food for us—her energy level was impressive and she provided a wonderful place for the 7 of us to have a great time together! It ran a bit late due to the amount of dishes she took on but they were delicious.
Sam Thakarar: We had a fantastic time! Harold was amazing - fun and informative. Thank you! We would highly recommend to anyone interested in making delicious sushi in the comfort of their own home!
Kate Burgess: This was the best cooking class I've ever taken. Chef Shailini is hilarious, warm, ambitious, and so talented. Having it at her house made it feel so cozy and personal. Her anecdotes about the meals, facts behind the strategies, and attention to detail made me come away with not only SEVEN new recipes, but also some fundamental skills.I will definitely be returning to one of her other classes. HIGHLY recommend!!

Shiso Kitchen: what do users think?
Megan Lucier: Had a wonderful and enlightening night at Shiso Kitchen. Jess was full of great advice for the kitchen and everyone enjoyed a fabulous meal we made together. I highly recommend this activity.
Tara Calnan: I took my sister-in-law to the Italian Flavors of Florence class as a Christmas gift. I loved how small the group was and how approachable Chef Jess was - it made the night fun and casual, but also gave us a chance to ask questions and chat with others in the class. The food we made was delicious! We'll definitely be making our own gnudis in the future!
Charlotte Darby: We cooked the Provençal menu with Jess and had a blast. The vegetarian accommodation substitutes portobello mushroom for meat. The recipes got my partner’s seal of approval, including a variation on socca using garlic, and he is originally from Nice.
Christopher Patton: We gave Mom an evening at Shiso as a gift. Our experience with the owner Jess was just outstanding! We had 6 of us there to learn about and stir up a Tapas meal. Awesome and simple environment, and perfect for us to bring along some wine, assist Jess with cooking, and enjoy the fruits of our labor. Really, really fun time. It's a unique, small kitchen environment that just radiates with fun.
srp5150: Jess is amazing!! We had such a great time. I highly recommend this place as a wonderful place to learn how to cook, have fun, and spend time with such a fantastic chef. The end-result (your meal - while absolutely unbelievable!) is almost an after-thought after having so much fun cooking!
Emily Brook: Chef Jess is great. She is friendly, engaging, and a great teacher. She did a great job of balancing time spent learning to cook with time for our party to sit and chat with each other. We made the Southern Italian dinner and it was so good. I already want to go back.
Carol Morse: The experience was even better than I expected, and I expected it to be good. Jess did such a great job managing the whole scene and made it fun, engaging and educational. We learned a lot, had a great time and the food was great. So worth the drive and a great way to celebrate any occasion. Highly recommend treating yourself to a Shiso event!
Annika Liljegren: Shiso Kitchen was an amazing experience! We surprised my mom for her birthday with cooking class for my family (8 of us) and she was thrilled. From the beginning, Jess was accommodating and super easy to communicate and plan with. The space itself was easy to find with plentiful parking around. Jess was organized and super fun to work with! We all learned skills and tips that we could take and apply to other recipes and had tons of fun making Barcelona Tapas! The menu was interesting and new to us, yet simple enough that we would feel comfortable attempting again at home. My family is already asking when we can go back. I would recommend Shiso Kitchen to anyone.
Andy Shumaker: A group of 6 of us went to Shiso Kitchen this week to celebrate my birthday. We brought our own wine and beer and made pork tenderloin bao with ginger custard for dessert. The food was amazing and the experience was super fun-- Jess did an excellent job calibrating her instruction to our level of culinary experience. We consider ourselves above average home cooks, and Jess was still able to provide some valuable nuggets on topics ranging from knife care; to practical dough mixing and fermentation tips and hacks; to ingredient selection, cleaning, and treatment; to equipment recommendations. Jess has deep experience in various global food scenes, so she has a wealth of stories about kitchens, restaurants, and chefs both near and far. She is also very professional and has a great sense of humor. We really appreciated her. Thank you Jess!
Derrah Cameron: Jess is incredible! We held a team building event at Shiso Kitchen for 10 people and we cannot wait to go back. Jess is knowledgeable, professional, high energy and fun and we all learned so much! The food was delicious! I would highly recommend Shiso and look forward to going back again!
Dean Genatossio: My girlfriend and I did the Flavors of Florence dinner back in March and it was incredible (her “favorite valentines day gift ever”). I learned a lot about cooking and we had such a great time. Jess is very knowledgeable and also very fun to cook with. I will definitely be making another reservation in the future!
Farah Ansari: Absolutely amazing experience. Jess was an absolute delight to work and be taught by. We were able to snag a last minute reservation for the Provence cooking class.
Elena S: If you are looking for a delicious, fun, learning experience.?This is the place.I learned how to use the knife properly and best way to cook pork.
Mel Wyman: Holy wow! We had the most incredible experience cooking with Jess last night. We made her Provencal French meal and were blown away by both the food and the innovative techniques she taught us! We were celebrating my Mum's birthday and the whole family had a great time learning, mingling and eating!! We will definitely be back for our next occasion. Thank you Jess!
Sharon Hancart: My partner and I spent a lovely evening with Jess and the four other guests. We cooked Basque cuisine, which I didn't know much about but it was very tasty and different than the food I am used to. Jess also gives relevant cooking advices that can be applied at home, even for simple meals. The atmosphere was very friendly, without pressure. I particularly liked that we were a small group so we could all take part in all the steps of the 3 course meal.
Anna Brairton: Had an incredible evening with family here. Jess is a stellar host/instructor. Food was phenomenal, atmosphere was perfect for a group outing. HIGHLY recommend for families or friends!!
Emily Silver: Awesome time, went with family. Jess was the best cook and the food was amazing! Highly recommend.
Carly Herbert: We had the best time and learned so much! We will be back!
Jordan Jacobson: I purchased this as a gift for my wife. We both had a great time. Jess was knowledgeable and was a great teacher/host and all the recipes were great! I would highly recommend a class at Shiso!
Ray Nichols: Jess is very knowledgeable about spices and how they work together to make food taste great. She is lovely to talk with as well. Our Moroccan dinner party turned out wonderful!
Canvas 23 Studios: Break out the paprika, this is one sizzlin’ class! Just the right amount of cooking and eating. Lots of little breaks to chat with friends. Love all the detailed info on what everything actually is made of. (Spices wise) Paprika on everything!

Chef John was the mastermind behind this fantastic culinary experience, and his passion for cooking was contagious.Chef John's class was more than just a cooking lesson; it was a beautiful tribute to the hardworking chefs within the healthcare systems who work tirelessly to nourish patients back to health. He spoke candidly about his experiences in the industry and how cooking is more than just the glamour we see on television. The class was structured impeccably, with Chef John taking us through each step of the process, explaining the science behind each ingredient and its role in the dish. His knowledge of Italian cuisine was impressive, and his ability to break down the dishes into simple steps made the class accessible to everyone, regardless of their cooking experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the hands-on experience of preparing the dishes was both fun and educational. The highlight of the class was undoubtedly the food itself. We made an array of delicious Italian dishes, including fresh homemade pastas, caprese salad, tiramisu and drank lots of wine.Overall, I would highly recommend Chef John's Italian cooking class to anyone looking to learn more about Italian cuisine or just looking for a fun and exciting culinary experience. I had to reschedule because of an unforeseen conflict, which was also quick and easy (via email). Reminder emails with instructions and directions were helpful. The classroom was well-equipped, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was great! We had Chef John P, who was fantastic! He taught and entertained about two dozen people for three hours. He provided excellent instruction while including stories and experiences from his past; he talked about the origins of ingredients, the history of dishes, ideas on how to do different variations of the dishes we were making, etc. - just an outstanding job.All in all, a great experience that is worth every penny and we will definitely be back again!

Cambridge School of Culinary Arts: what do users think?
Pat Rice: The chef was great and patient! Very knowledgeable and took the time to ask about allergies and go through ingredients. The menu was creative and had a lot of variety. There was a dish washer helping as we went along. The space was clean and had plenty of supplies. Thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Kelsey George: I have been coming to the CSCA many times! I love to cook and learn about it - this place makes it so much fun! The classes have a great variety and lots of great recipes that everyone at home can't wait to taste! Will forever come here :)
Nick Anthony: My girlfriend and I have done three of the couples cooking courses. Each time has been a fun and educational experience. The instructors are both charming and helpful. I'd definitely recommend.
Dana Giuliana: Amazing teachers and classes. Parking is a pain though!
Alex Stening: Ricardo was so great to work with. I really felt like I was a professional chef in a fun and supportive environment - and the vegetarian tapas are so incredibly delicious!
Cristian Adam: Took the baking class with Chef Marie - she was great, and I’m sure the other classes here are awesome as well - I just wish there was a digital option for the recipes (my coworkers, who enjoyed the leftovers asked me several times for it)
Matthew Savas: CSC classes are always wonderful. I have been to three — bread, croissants, and brunch. The instructors are always talented, patient, and helpful. The kitchen is well-equipped — maybe too well-equipped because I feel sad when I return to my dinky home kitchen.I can’t recommend these courses enough! The photo comes from the brunch class.
Pamela Mouradian: Classes were great! Took Techniques of cooking. Staff was friendly and so helpful. Kitchens were spacious and very clean! Can not wait to take more classes at CSCA
Andrei Barbu: The cooking classes here are perfect. You can go for a date night, hang out with a friend, or take a group class solo. You'll learn something new and have a blast doing it, not to mention that you get to have a dinner where you taste a lot of great dishes. They have people from all levels from those who have never made anything to those looking for a challenge. Try it out!
Haley: This review isn’t for the cooking school specifically but for CSCA’s excellent customer service. I purchased a gift certificate and needed to modify someof the information after submitting my order. Sean reached out to help me right away, kept me informed throughout the entire process, and even followed up to ensure the gift was delivered on time, while remaining positive, friendly and professional the entire time! After this experience, I hope to take a class of my own at CSCA someday!
Deborah Hayes: I had the best time learning about the art of baking breads. Faith, the instructor, was professional, funny, clear, extremely educational and lit a fire under me to experiment at home with different ingredients. I can't wait to take another class next month.
Geoff T: Great classes for all skill levels
Maggie: Took a couples cooking class and liked the group atmosphere and delicious food but was VERY disappointed at the lack of social distancing which actually took place. It was impossible to socially distance as we had to search around the kitchen literally brushing past people. That being said when it is not the middle of a pandemic I would consider trying another class.
R Hargrow: Great teen cooking classes!
Bruno Drummond: ***REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE*** Read it! - All i can not talk about the class, I could not do it. in january I sign for the a february class, february comes and I had a comflict with my work schedule, end up missing one class, I called then prior to sencond class requesting to change class other date and Julie the admission office said that I could not do it, and she want to give an credit for future class... But I never took the class or I am not canceling the class.. I just want to take the class in another day! I explain to her the fact that she can not accomodate that is fine however she raise the voice because I did not want the credit and hang up on me.. that shows that for the school we are doing them a favor to be there.. very bad!!! If you want to take the class do it via online admission, if you go via our friend there.. you may have the same experience! Good luck unfortunally I move on the people that really want to serve, because in the restauratant industry is about serve not attitude!
ESL: I might give it a higher rating if I get to attend the class.I found it very childish that many of the programs are only offered to "couples" and the price is for two seats as a set. Either the school is not confident in its recruitment capability so it imposes it to the attendees to bring someone else, or it just doesn't trust the student is capable to attend program alone. It reminded me of what my mom told me when i was in the first grade that never go to the school toilet by myself...what about the individuality or the independence???
j gresla: Just completed techniques of cooking and absolutely loved the series. Chef Mark is amazing and I use what I have learned everyday at home. The class size is small which is nice and best of all is being able to eat everything you made. Can't wait to take another series. Thanks Chef Mark!!
Nic C: Have taken three courses. All instructors were professional and knowledgeable.
Jorgen Hansen: I was in a corporate group of 26 people taking s class. We cooked a complete dinner with 9 dishes. It was a lot of fun and the food was great.
Matt Cook: Went for a class with my work for our first holiday party and it was great. Chef Meg was fun, friendly, informative and didn't make anyone feel dumb or bad for not knowing cooking techniques/strategies. She went over the recipes beforehand and was always available for questions or concerns. She had a great attitude. The only problem was apparently another class was also using the kitchen at the same time, and as our group was already really large, it made for a very crammed experience at times, especially considering I was trying to man two burners while a whole group was directly next to me using the grill.
Bob McAuliff: thought it was okay, shoved us in basement kitchen, did not have any chicken for one of main courses being prepared, chef a bit brusque, won't be going back

Christopher Kimball’s Milk Street Cooking School: what do users think?
Ken Cohrs: Class was like having to pay a fee to watch an infomercial. Hoped to learn basics of rice, when to use what type, when and how to rinse, how to prep different types of rice, ect. Got none of that, but learned what proucts their company carried. Will not be taking any other Milk Street classes.
Chris Haskins: I was unable to attend due to illness. Can I get the recipes? In the past classes I really learned a lot.
Gina CC: I loved doing the workshop 'Advanced Italian Desserts with Maria Capdevielle'! Seeing Maria making the recipes so smoothly and perfectly crafted, is a mouthwatering delight. These recipes were easy to follow and cook, and they turned out great. It was my first-time making Tiramisu -which is one of my favorite desserts, and it came out so perfect and delicious!
Teresa Woiwod: I enjoyed the class immensely but will need to source some equipment and supplies online.
Lisa Loef: Took a virtual “hands on” class yesterday on preparing pasta with April Dodd. She is an awesome instructor who shares excellent tips and debunks cooking myths which was both interesting and helpful! She also took time to personally answer my e-mail questions. Thank you, April!!
Julie Lenhart: The One-Pot Dinner & Dessert with Melissa Clark online class was excellent. The demonstrated recipes were easy, and, I learned learned so many things during class. I didn't cook along; however, I made the chicken dish later, and, it was excellent. Melissa is an excellent teacher. I hope Milk Street Cooking School brings her back for future events.
paul macavaney: This workshop conducted by Rosie was fun and informative. I'll definitely be applying what I learned from her in the future!
Sheryl: Awesome class! Was a wonderful learning experience. It was well organized, entertaining, and always love 💕 cooking along with an experienced chef! The creamy chicken with charred snow peas was very flavorful. We absolutely loved the Ricotta olive oil pound cake! So, I was thrilled with the outcome of these recipes and am definitely will be purchasing Melissa Clark’s cookbooks!
Cynthia Phinney: I have never been to this physical location, but I love their magazine and the live-stream cooking classes they offer are such fun and are some of what have gotten me through the pandemic still liking to cook (I love to cook, but having to do it three meals a day for two years was a lot, you know??). The variety of skills and approaches in the cooking classes is just great - with multiple offerings each week and focus on a wide variety of cultures, I think there is probably something for everyone. I know I've tried a number of things I never thought I would - and even some things I'd never heard of - emulsifying sausage anyone? (hint - it's what gives hot dogs the texture we associate with them) or pestos without basil? Plus I've honed basic skills - knife sharpening, making eggs. The classes are friendly and fun and affordable - especially if you subscribe to the magazine at the "all-access" level, which gives you access to the classes at no charge. My all-access subscription more than paid for itself with the first three classes I took, and by now I've probably taken at least a couple dozen. Tonight I'll be learning to make Mexican mole!
Monique Carbajal: Loved joining the class "Beyond Tortillas: More You Can Do with Masa with Jorge Gaviria". The tetela shape was new to me and I'm having a lot of fun practicing with the shape post class!
Ros D: I enjoy the classes. See the recipes demonstrated and all the helpful tips provided during the class. All the instructors are professional yet down to earth.
Patrick Lester: Milk Street is ATK on steroids! Exceptional magazine with innovative recipes based on regional and international recipes. And their live cooking classes are great whether you’re an inexperienced cook or professional chef. Live chat is a bonus as participants ask good questions and have extra insights. And if you want to review that class, it’s recorded and available online the next day. Well worth the cost. Insiders get bonus offers as well as access to all programs.
Betsy Millane: An engaging class, the moderator was attentive, the cook energetic and happy. They were responsive to questions, although the class was large, it felt intimate and welcoming. Most of all, after seeing it done, I am confident I can succeed in this menu! Excellent class! I will be back.
Denis Maurer: I really enjoy taking classes online from Milk Street. They are the best! Extremely well organized, answer questions, really fun. I have taken other online cooking classes they don't come close to the professionalism of Milk Street. Thank you!
Sally Torgeson: Actually took my first Milk Street class yesterday. Now I'm afraid of what I have missed out on. The class was Hsiao-Ching Pot stickers class. I am a fairly competent and experienced cook, but I had never made pot stickers from scratch before. She made it so fun and had so much knowledge I can't wait to make some this week-end. I highly recommend the classes if they are all this good.
Martha Berger: I learn by doing and seeing things done by others - this class was great for me.
Pamela Armitage: I love their online classes - they're jam-packed with good, usable information. The interactions from fellow classmates is richly rewarding as well. I particularly enjoy the no-judgment style of teaching - all questions are treated respectfully. I will definitely take more of their classes!
Marlene Evans: Disappointed in this gadget. It will not grind pepper any longer. I have already adjusted the dial on the bottom. Great in the beginning, but didn’t last long.
Teresa Cooper: I took Luisa Weiss's Kirschstrueselkuchen baking class and after searching for a true German cake recipe, I can say I am so happy. The class was very instructional, had great baking tips and even substituting blueberries instead of cherries was as easy as Luisa said! I really believe my (German) mom and grandmother would be proud of me. :) Thank you and I hope to see future classes by Luisa.
Annie Humphrey: Milk Street is just the best. The magazine, the cookbooks, the store, and particularly the live stream cooking classes. I’ve become a better, more inventive cook while using their products. I can’t say enough how much I value them as a resource. I cook healthy, delicious meals for my family that are inventive and expand our cultural understanding of world cuisine. The live stream classes are a real treat as well! Thanks to the whole crew at Milk Street!

ArtEpicure Cooking School: what do users think?
Thomas Beardsley: Purchased gift certificates for Christmas 2019. Unable to use them due to Civic. Refused refund. So. Artepicure got $170. I lost $170. No service provided. Beware.
Alyssa Kaitz: We had the best time here for my husband’s birthday a few years ago. I’ve given gift certificates as wedding gifts and come back a few times!
Alyssa K: I purchased a gift certificate in an amount redeemable for two cooking classes. It was a Christmas gift for my Dad, so that we could attend a class together. We picked a class for May, but as May approach, so did COVID, and as was required for public safety, the school closed. COVID was an act of God, and although I was disappointed, that is not why I am writing this review.Recently, this school re-opened offering ONLINE CLASSES ONLY for the forseeable future. This format of class did not even exist at the time I made my initial purchase. I requested a refund. I was not willing to pay $165 to attend an online class. I could go elsewhere and attend an in-person class with my father.I was flatly refused a refund, and have lost my money.
Kathy Kiely: Very fun night. Mark the instructor is very knowledgeable and engaging. We even made Gnocci from scratch. Highly recommend.
Laura DiGiacomo: A group of women with wine, cheese and crackers surprised one for her 50th birthday celebration at this cool cooking class with Chef Mark. We sat and listened to the chef as we also chatted. He answered every question we had as we went along and even after the class. We prepared a chicken and wild mushroom dish with a pasta a salad with asparagus and breaded goat cheese followed by dessert...an apple cake. All in all it was a perfect choice and very comfortable and easy going event. Our expectations were exceeded in every way!
Nick Figueiredo: In a word: outstanding. Mark (owner, chef, teacher) is a great guy and an excellent teacher. It was a really neat space, and the four hour private class for 12 of us was perfect. This would be great for couples or for groups. Book quickly, he fills up fast! The locations is this really chic artist building located on the Somerville/Cambridge line. There is 4 hour visitor parking on Chestnut and Linwood Streets, both of which are right there next to the building. Don't worry - there are plenty of spots, regardless of the time of day since this isn't a very busy part of town. Just walk up to the front door, buzz the code for ArtEpicure (there is a listing of all codes next to the buzzer), mark answers and comes to greet you.For our food, we made a delicious salad (it had everything you can imagine in it, but it was simple and delicious), followed by chicken and vegetable paella, and topped off with bread pudding and apple crisp with homemade cream. Wow.Mark is a really great guy, is well-traveled and experienced, and a fun conversationalist! Great job Mark!
michael leshinsky: Great couple's activity
Kathleen Newton: My husband organized a small group for a bday surprise here. The food and atmosphere were both amazing. It was a night to remember.Thank You Chef Mark!

The Kroc Center Culinary Training program: what do users think?
Shonda Little: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
Sam's Spot Restaurant: The Kroc Center Culinary Training program has made a major impact on my life. From the daily hands on training to the in class serve safe practice, I have developed several skills including knife training and proper food sanitation to practice in my restaurant. Chef Timothy provides unlimited resources, including ordering food items of your choice to ensure your dish reaches its full potential. The program teaches you time management as attendance is important to Chef which prepares you to arrive on time and ready to work in this workforce. Just imagine being able to cook in a Chef's dream kitchen all for the price of your hard work and dedication!
Nigel: Positive:QualityChef Tim and his program is legendary - just lately they've had at least four times the number of applicants to places available - and without any advertising. Such is the word of mouth promoting this fine program in Boston! Go explore it, or refer someone who needs it today!
Ishana Strazzero: I have made a career and I am a chef with my own private chef business by implementing all the skills taught by Chef Timothy at the CTP. Chef is very professional and prepares you for your future in the culinary world. This program changed my life and still is a very important part of my life 5 years later. I would not be where I am today with out this program. I give it 10 stars!
Patricia Sujballi: This program literally CHANGED MY LIFE. My life has not been the same since I graduated. Chef Timothy Tucker will always have a place in my heart. He is an amazing chef, and awesome instructor. He cooks and teaches from the heart with passion, care and love. Since the program I have started my own business “Epic Gourmet Boston”. Been on two tv programs “Fox 25” and “ NBC” it’s been years since I’ve graduated and Chef still checks on me. Please support this program and help change your life or someone else’s. Best decision EVER!!
Sherilla Lestrade: I enjoyed being part of the culinary program at the Kroc, I was able to brush up and refine old skills and learn new ones, work with a great group of individuals who have become like family, and learn from the experiences and knowledge of Chef Timothy and Eric Hall. I only wish we spent more hands on time in the kitchen on the materials we covered in the classroom, followed the syllabus more closely, and that the life skills part of the training taught by Eric was valued more and a little more time was devoted to it because I feel that the material covered is very essential to helping people be more successful. I enjoyed Foreign Fridays the most because it allowed me to get out of the comfort zone and create new menus from different cultures for example for Asia I made a Vietnamese Rainbow Fruit Desert , from Morocco, I made lamb shank with a homemade rub from scratch, for Haiti and the Caribbean Curry Goat with the Curry seasoning made from scratch and this week for Greece I will be making Baby Lamb Chops with a Yogurt Mint Sauce and Baklava . It also gave me the freedom to choose recipes that I knew and was comfortable with to put my own spin on or find ways to improve or ways to improve them. It also allowed me the opportunity to be face to face with the customers that was eating my food and get their feedback constructive criticism first hand.

Nancy Sommers: Wonderful and delicious and great fun! Chef Marco is the perfect host and teacher. He is attentive to all guests and makes everyone feel welcome in his kitchen. We learned how to make a variety of dumplings and enjoyed eating what we created. Everyone had a fabulous time with Chef Marco and we are eager to return for our next round of lessons. Highly recommend the Dumpling School for birthday parties and for team building events, a fun, memorable, and delicious way to gather with friends and colleagues.
Robert Zuber: I went to Patty's Dumpling School along with my wife, 2 sons and their spouses as a 66th birthday present. Patty's husband Marc was our chef. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Marc was entertaining as well as instructional. In addition to enjoying the entire dumpling making process Marc's stories of Patty's emigration to American and the formation of the school was fascinating. Patty joined us remotely from Taiwan which was unexpected and entertaining. It was a fun an memorable experience and a birthday present worth remembering.
Christopher Gaffney: This was a super fun experience! Chef Marco was informative as well as entertaining. Patty was fun to interact with via video chat also. The dumplings we made were fantastic and the overall experience was great. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun time learning to make some yummy food
Aaron Goodrum: We had a such a blast! If you want to take a cooking class where you’re going learn and have some fun while you’re there, reach out & set up a cooking class. We laughed so hard at the dumplings we made because of their shapes! 😆 Some looking like ten year olds made them.
JMS: We enjoyed a great experience at the Dumpling School. Chef Marco was entertaining and informative all the while providing excellent tips of the trade. I highly recommend the Dumpling School for anyone looking for a new foodie adventure.
Pat Sweeney: Very fun!
Ruth Nelson: Really fun and yummy! Easy to arrange - questions answered by actual people.
Linda Shaughnessy: Our family gathered at Patty Chen’s Dumpling School and Marc was our host. We were celebrating a special birthday and it was the first time in a while that we were all together. We had a lot of laughs as Mark told funny stories. We learned to make so many different shapes of dumplings and then got to eat them! We had a vegetarian in our group and they were able to accommodate her with tasty dumplings too. It was low key and casual and would recommend it to anyone who likes dumplings — and who doesn’t like dumplings?
TeQuana Bayless: Great time and great instructor
Vanita Glover: The evening was delicious, educational and fun!! I would highly recommend this interactive event to anyone visiting Boston!
K Lindert: I liked it so much I’ve been twice. Great group bonding activity, charming hosts, delicious food!
Megg Martin: I visited with my husband and my parents and we had a really fun experience! The host was extremely talkative and had lots of fun stories. We learned multiple ways of folding dumplings and had plenty to eat! A great experience!
