Nicolas Depauw: We love Titus Sparrow park, it is a small neighborhood park adjacent to the nice South end corridor (bike/walking path). It is always full of life with families, little ones or furry ones. There are basketball and tennis courts available that are usually busy with locals. There are regular/recurring neighborhood events like concerts in the summer time, etc.

Rich Whitney: Great facility for multiple sports. Great for spectators. This facility runs tons of BU sports as well as a ton of training and club sports. Don't forget local teams can rent out ice-time for their practices, etc. This gym is open different hours based on what is going on at the time, so don't worry about Google's hours if you know that you are scheduled for a practice or game.
Ben Walpoth: Game time. The almighty playground of the BU Terrier's Basketball Team. You can buy drinks and food on halftime. They serve sodas no beer and the food is descent. Gym is small but with a full house it has a crazy atmosphere. Love it!

Danny Quynh Lam Ong: Beautiful renovated park next to the beach. Plenty sport activities for both kids and adults.

Kevin Moss: Large recreational Park featuring Basketball Courts, Baseball/Softball Fields, Tennis Courts, Soccer Fields, and a Football Field with Floodlights. Very spacious, and right next to Carson Beach! There is also a wide variety of Intramural sports teams that play/hold events, at the park, during weeknights. Highly recommend!

Ruth Hendricks: I grew up going to this park- I am 67yo now. So many great times from the original playground with the great swings, flooding part of the park in winter for ice skating, the stadium area for football games , taking g my kids for soccer/ little league, just playing and picnics..Unfortunately the past few years have not been kind to South Boston and Columbia /Moakley Park as the City of Boston have let the stadium seats decay, do not take care of the grass or walkways, are just letting it go to pot for some horrible plan for the area. The City needs to maintain this once beautiful park and start caring for the people of South Boston instead of walking all over us after taking our ever increasing property tax and other taxes that are supposed to go towards maintaining our parks and playgrounds. The City also needs to start taking care of the other local playgrounds as they too are mostly neglected.

Cedric Bryant: The beach is conveniently located. Gets very crowded when the weather is beachy and it's not the cleanest sand or water I've seen on a beach but if you want to do beachy things without having to drive 40+ minutes outside of the city, this is all Boston has for you.

R S s: Great for walking, hanging out, playing basketball or tennis, this park has a few entrances from different locations. There's a fenced in dog area, and playground with swings and slides. In winter it gets slippery and hard to walk on the ice, I've fallen a few times. It's a nice place to people watch.
