Baptiste Power Yoga Boston: what do users think?
Charlotte Sulick: Always so impressed by BPYBoston ♡ classes are consistent, heat is spectacular, and teachers are wonderful. The community developed here is so full of support and encouragement it’s truly a magical feeling to participate ❤️
Ashley Meyer: This studio is not just a place to practice yoga. It is a home of people who will soon become your family. It is an uplifting community of peace, healing, and love that instantly turns your day around no matter what is going on in your life. In my decade of practicing yoga I have not found teachers anywhere else who put so much love into their classes. I began practicing at Baptiste when I was going through a very difficult time in my life— and very quickly, Naima and Brandon both changed— and saved— my life.
Jon Langbert: I’ve gone here at least a dozen times, so it’s time to give a complete review. First off, the entrance is not on Harvard Street, but from the rear through a kinda grungy parking lot. Everyone who works there is super friendly, and they do a very good job keeping the place clean. The number one drawback to Baptiste is that they only have one series. It’s not a bad series, in that you will work all of your major muscle groups, get your cardio up a bit, do some core, and also get some spiritual chatter. To that last point, Mark and Brandon do a really great job of keeping the class entertaining with their commentary and observations on life. The other instructors are more by the book. As for the series itself, it works well for beginners, and while they cue a few options for more advanced positions and arm balances, in my opinion, they could do more of that. But really, they need to offer some new classes, perhaps some with music. If they don’t, I think their business will stagnate because students will graduate to more varied and interesting opportunities. That being said, there aren’t very many alternatives, if any, within walking distance of Baptiste, so I might be talking out of my you-know-what. Maybe they could let other instructors come in and use the studio when they don’t have classes? Near the end of the series, there are roughly five minutes awarded to pigeon. This I don’t get unless there is some hidden physiological research that only they know about which makes endlessly holding those positions the secret to everlasting life. A few sidenotes: the room is usually brutally hot. Try to stay away from the window side in the evenings in the summer when the sun comes pouring in. There are no mirrors on the walls and there are no showers or locker rooms. They have some small changing cubicles downstairs; however, the stairwell is steep and slippery, so you are taking your life into your own hands there. Maybe for Chanukah, I’ll surprise them with some non-slip tape to put down? So bottom line: if you’ve never done yoga, Baptiste would be a great place to start. If you’re more experienced, try them out but you will likely need more variety.
Tibbitts: Best Yoga Place Around
Brandon Sommers: The BEST - I repeat - the BEST power / spiritual yoga experience you will ever have. Right here. There’s magic within these walls. What’s the secret? Because there’s magic within each of us. And these teachers use the practice to draw that magic out of each student, each day, in each class, until the space is filled with magic and energy and power and love and spirit and connection.Brandon, Naima and the whole team are the best in the business. The discipline and study they have for the practice in unparalleled. They are so committed to showing up to their fullest every single class, which in-turn causes a shift for each student. I’ve visited over 50 different yoga studios who teach this exact style of yoga, and no one teaches like they do here. Best of the best, bar none.Go. You’ll laugh every single time. You’ll feel welcomed, valued, a part of something big and exciting. You’ll grow, develop, learn, cry, and I promise you, you’ll leave feeling like your best self.
Chris Alto: Best yoga studio in Boston
Katherine Palmer: We love this studio. The vibe is always down to earth and friendly. It's super clean, it's hot, you sweat a LOT and you feel amazing afterwards. Great instructors who are also just really good people, really welcoming, been practicing a long long time and know what they are doing. Hard as you want it to be, but it's also accessible at any level. Just get yourself in the door one time. You'll want to keep going back because you'll feel amazing. Lots of parking, easy to get to.
Catalina Escalante: The first time I had a yoga class ever, was 5 years ago; and for whatever reason (maybe because I already belong to a gym) I did not continue. Over a year ago I had foot surgery and my foot was not getting any better (pain, swelling, limping). My surgeon recommended yoga. Thx God I listened! I joined Baptist yoga about a month & 1/2 ago, I try to be there more than twice a week, anyhow; my foot is now 95% better!! I’m not sure if it’s the heat, the stretching, the poses or a combination of it. At the beginning, during two 90 min classes, I had to take a break and leave the room because I couldn’t stand the heat (no one else got out); I haven’t any more... I try to take 60 or 75 min classes instead. Yoga is very new to me, I did not know any poses’ names; my body is flexible but very poor in balancing. I listen and keep an eye on whatever everyone else does; I’m learning as I go! My point is, the instructors, staff and members had made me feel very welcome. Everyone has been very supportive and they motivate me no matter how bad or good I’ve performed. The bottom line is not to quit even if it’s at your own pace! I’m very happy I got brave and finally decided to give Baptist yoga a try!!! BTW, the same goes for my husband (who’s got hip problems); he joined Baptist with me and he loves it!!
Melissa Ramos: This place has become my second home. From the first day I felt welcomed and part of the community. The classes are challenging and I have seen my body get stronger and felt more grounded and mindful. I don't even live nearby but I make my way to practice here between 3-5 days a week.
Abby Burcham: This is a really nice studio and overall I’ve had multiple great yoga classes here. My rating reflects the fact that my yoga practice doesn’t seem to fit with what Boston Baptiste prioritizes, which is totally fine.I found that Boston Baptiste did not support individuality or alternative poses to the ones they prescribed while practicing. It felt to me like a “do as I say and only as I say” teaching method, which I felt handicapped my practice. The studio is definitely worth a try but may not work for everyone.
Gil Propp: Excellent and inspiring yoga studio with great instructors!
Kathleen Ross: I’ve been encouraged to give it a try and so glad I finally did! Love everything about coming here! The instructors are extremely encouraging and each have their own way of guidance. Other yogis have been so welcoming...today at the end of my first 75 minute practice (sweating profusely) the person next to me looked over and was so kind and said “ you did great!” - so my words to you if you’re thinking about giving Baptiste a try - go - you will be so glad you did. Just show up!
Christopher Lovett: Nice and big studio space and great teachers. The teachers offer very helpful corrections at every class I attend!
Sara Lovell: Great yoga studio- very attentive teachers!Ended up going here after a weird experience with my previous studio in the village and have not looked back since! Thanks team!
Rob Guillemin: If you want to be physically challenged and trained in the art of mindfulness, this place is for you. Be prepared to grow as you sweat, stretch, balance, focus your attention, and play with the edge of your comfort and capability. While the core practice of the Baptiste Power Yoga method is the same at each of the studios across the country, each instructor adds their own special twist, emphasis, and insights based on their years of learning. Consequently, I discover something new at almost every class.
The Yoga Preacher: This is by far the BEST hot power yoga in the country.
AhmadReza Saadat: Great instructors and a great environment to learn the practice
Caro Reyes: Great studio and classes. The studio is clean, the crowd is friendly, and the staff is very professional. Check in is super easy. Brandon and Naima's are my favorite teachers. I highly recommend it.
Kate Bussell: If you want to leave a yoga class feeling inspired, sweaty, and energized, come here! Straight-up Baptiste yoga. Just the way I like it.
Design Schport!: Incredible instruction.... Amazing Heat... Beautiful studio... And a Fantastic Community! I am so thrilled that the Brookline/Boston studio reopened this summer, 2017! I've been practicing with some of these instructors for years. They've changed my body and my life. I could not be more grateful to them.
David Dyer: I had the opportunity to make it to opening day, Brandon is wonderful and inspiring. Amazing staff and experience!

Mission Hill Yoga: what do users think?
Nikia Hackett: I really enjoy taking classes at Mission Hill Yoga! Cassi is really sweet and super supportive in the classes! It was challenging finding a yoga studio where I felt like I belonged. But Cassi and her team are friendly and will support you in pushing yourself in the class!
Er Mo: My husband and I have been coming here for almost 2 years now and LOVE it. Cassi has always been so warm and welcoming :) She is also a yoga goddess and has the best playlists!! If you’re thinking about trying yoga or want to check out a different studio I 10/10 recommend coming here.
Erika Lynn-Green: Absolutely love all the classes - such great workouts and great timing in the evenings
Emma E: I've been coming to the studio since 2019 and just completed my teacher training here in 2022! MHY has been such a welcoming community and an amazing space to learn about and deepen my practice. Cassi and all of the teachers create a safe, fun space to come in and learn, no matter what level of experience you're at. The classes are fun, dynamic, and can be both relaxing and challenging. Whatever you're looking for from your practice, you'll find it here! I can't recommend it enough.
Kelly Cope: I knew after my first class at MHY back in August of 2021 that this was the studio for me. The teachers here lead a variety of creative classes to meet you wherever you are along your yoga journey. They implement an accommodating class schedule too, so it’s easy to find a class to suit all of your needs! Cassandra has built a wonderful and welcoming space here at Mission Hill Yoga where students can feel safe and comfortable growing their practice alongside their new friends and neighbors!!
Anna Milliken: I moved to Mission Hill in 2018 and found the hidden gem of yoga studios, Mission Hill Yoga. Since then, I have moved all over the city, but keep coming back to this studio, no matter the commute! I cannot say enough amazing things about this studio. It is a wonderful place to take classes, feel connected to the community and the studio provides a space where you can give yourself a little love and deepen your practice! With the variety of classes, there is something for someone who is new to yoga or even the most advanced yogi. I always leave class feeling like I have learned something new! Cassi is amazing and she is so thoughtful of every member of the studio – thank you for all that you do! I absolutely love this studio and hope to continue taking the virtual classes when I move cross country this summer so I can stay connected to this community!!
Reno Torres: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityBest yoga studio in all of Boston!
Syringa H: I can't say enough good things about this studio. These guys got me through the pandemic sane. It's a wonderful place to take yoga classes. Many types of classes all super talented teachers. If your considering taking a class I highly recommend. I especially recommend taking a class with Cassandra or Marco. They are such fun and challenging teachers. Really high hygienic standards as well. Also if you have ever felt judged or intimidated at a yoga studio you will not feel that at mission hill yoga, everyone is so amazingly welcoming and helpful.
Adam den Bakker: Mission Hill Yoga is the perfect place for everyone who wishes explore yoga and what the practice can offer. The variety of classes & teachers make exploring your personal practice both an enjoyable & beneficial experience. Not to mention the community surrounding the studio is something special within itself. 10/10 would recommend to both those new to yoga & seasoned yogis
Sandy Holden: This is a welcoming and clean studio with a great variety of classes and instructors. I took my first yoga class ever here after years of wanting to try it and I felt like a part of the family right away. Their quick transition to online options during the COVID lockdowns kept my mind sane and body limber was much appreciated. I have since visited other studios and this is by far the best!
Corrie Evans: MHY is an amazing studio! All of the instructors are kind, experienced, and welcoming people. I have been coming here for a little over a year and I cannot imagine taking classes anywhere else. Each experience has been so warm and friendly. I’m very appreciative of all the time I’ve been able to spend here!
Olivia Chavez: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityMission Hill Yoga is the most professional and thoughtful yoga studio I have attended. All teachers are insightful and provide challenging classes for the advanced students, yet simple enough for beginners. The studio offers a zen and clean space for one to look inwards into their yoga practice.
Jen Xiong: Best yoga studio I’ve ever been to! Cassie is a fantastic instructor and cares about each of her students and really makes sure that each individual has a fruitful experience in each class. The classes are great for all levels and Cassie makes sure to explain various adjustments one can make to make a pose more or less challenging. The classes are something I truly look forward to every time I am able to attend! Mission Hill Yoga is a wonderful community that I am so lucky to have found and become a part of!! Absolutely recommend it!
George Mandell: I tried MHY on a recommendation from a friend over two years ago. I was new to yoga, 62 years young and had some recent challenging life experiences. I was attending classes at a studio closer to my home in Milton, but transitioned to MHY because of the superior overall experience. I have not looked back. I am grateful for all the caring classes and instructors, and the MHY community.2020 - 2021 has been challenging for all because of the pandemic. Cassi and her crew at MHY managed to rise to all challenges and continued to offer classes when I needed and appreciated them most. Including online ZOOM classes when COVID-19 was at its peak in Massachusetts. Honestly I got a little spoiled practicing in my living room, though in-person classes offer more benefits.Excellent experiences here. And my first yoga retreat as well, a week's long trip to a beautiful Greek island at a resort that had a magnificent yoga studio overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.Cassi and crew have nurtured my physical and spiritual growth and I have coupled that with a weight-loss program that helped me slim down.Always room for more growth, improvements in my life. I look forward to doing more inversions and poses while continuing to grow along my life path wherever that may lead me. But. Grateful for everything so far. So. A wonderful 2+ years of experiences. I highly recommend MHY.
Eunice Hurd: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI've been going to this gem of a studio since they opened. The studio is immaculate, the prices are reasonable, and the quality and variety of classes is perfect. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and professional. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
Gabby Ro: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality
Joe Romanelli: Cassie runs an amazing yoga studio. In fact, this is the place that really got me into yoga. All the teachers I've had have been top notch. Definitely check them out you won't be disappointed.
Norma Soto Torres: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI simply LOVE going to the Mission Hill Yoga studio. It is my place to unwind and distress after a hard day at work. The teachers and the cozy place are phenomenal!! Cassandra you are the BEST! Namaste! 🧘🏻‍♀️
Casey Lyn: I LOVE this place! I'm so glad they came to meet the need for a yoga studio in our neighborhood a few years ago. There's a nice variety of classes available depending on what you're looking for/what level you're at (my favorite is SPA, which is a little lighter, but a nice escape from faster or tougher workouts). Cassandra and her crew of instructors are always willing to help you work on a posture or provide alternatives if you need. What they have to offer can help you build a nice well-rounded yoga practice if that's what you're looking for!
Chris Hastings: This yoga studio, it's instructors, and classes are all amazing! It is by far my favorite studio in the Boston area. In particular, instructor Cassandra is a must take. Her vibe, knowledge, class flow, and assists make her classes well worth taking...they are what hooked me on yoga. Additionally, the annual retreats are out of this world (well-organized, exotic, luxurious, and fun)!
Sheila H.: I have been practicing Yoga and Barre at Mission Hill Yoga for over two years and the experience has been incredible and, most importantly, it never gets old. It is a diverse, intimate studio with amazing, talented and dedicated instructors. Their expertise, patience and care in making sure you listen to your mind and body, without harm, is unwavering. The guidelines, precautions and the ability to practice outdoors or online during the height of the pandemic was thoughtful and a must needed stress reliever. Thank you Mission Hill Yoga for making it happen safely. Highly recommend!!

Radiant Yoga Boston: what do users think?
Alexandra Orsino: Be careful if you sign up for a membership here. Unless you email the company, and you have to email them because they never pick up the phone, the same day that you get billed, you will automatically be billed for their next cycle as well per their 30 day cancelation policy. This is the most ridiculous policy I've ever seen in a studio. There are much better studios in the area.
Alina Sushko: Hi ! My name is Alina. I’am a Yoga Instructor at Radiant studio. I’ve been blessed by working in such a warm and beautiful studio. The team always very supportive ! Thank you for everything! Happy to be a part of this community!
Melissa Pennington: Such a warm and welcoming space! Great variety of classes from slow and chilled to energy building.
Maria Modesto: Radiant is my yogi home! I felt so welcomed when I first met the owner and I've stayed with the studio ever since. Its such a open and accepting space, with no judgements! just come as you are with all or nothing. Its simply the best in Southie
Stephanie Hao: Radiant yoga is a very special studio located in Southie that truly embodies inclusivity within yoga. Chanel, the owner, and her staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. I love the sense of community within the studio and the diversity in teaching styles and class offerings. From prenatal yoga to yin yoga and power flows, you can find them all here. The studio genuinely strives to make yoga accessible to everyone from all walks of life.
Athena Desai: Lots of love and community at Radiant - a beautiful physical space, for when we all return to that, but online still keeping it together with friends from all corners of the world, wonderful vibrant teachers, fun and mellow styles that teach me so much about all the forms of yoga.
Gabrielle Figueiredo: The space and people are warm and welcoming. It is a lovely studio with a great sense of community, like you dont find elsewhere. The teachers are great and have such a mentor to look up to. They are also offering online classes which is great!
bbabs31: Radiant yoga studio is a very warm and welcoming community. I am new to yoga and feel very comfortable taking the classes and talking with the instructors! You walk into the studio greeted with soft lighting and relaxing music that would put anyone at ease. The space itself is super unique ! Would definitely recommend !
Courtney Subatis: I absolutely LOVE RYB!! I’ve taken classes there for a few years now (through 2 pregnancies) and have truly enjoyed every single one. The instructors are knowledgeable, kind, and welcoming plus the atmosphere is super cool and perfect for yoga!
Katherine Stockton: Knowledgeable staff and welcoming community. I highly recommend.
Rebecca Hall: When I started attending Radiant yoga I had, maybe, been to 3 yoga classes prior. I was hooked after my first class. I might not have know what the heck I was doing but I had this amazing support from the team, the teachers, and the community there. I absolutely love Radiant. The teachers are all amazing and thoughtful. It is in the basement of The Distillery that has a bunch of artist spaces. You meander down the hall with art all around you before you end up at the studio. It is just one piece of the incredible experience I have had at Radiant. If you are experienced or inexperienced this is a wonderful studio to practice at. Try it. Trust me.
Danielle Valle Gilchrist: Radiant is quickly becoming by favorite studio in Boston. The classes are the right level of challenging, the studio is beautiful and the community is unbelievably supportive. I especially recommend Kristine's restorative classes!
samantha russo: October marks 6 months I've been practicing with Radiant Yoga. Not only did they welcome me with open arms on my very first day, they helped me rediscover myself with wise and kind teachers, make friends (which; let's face it, is very hard as a busy adult) and find a sense of community in a new city. The energy in the studio is palpable and warm, they often host events and workshops that are beneficial to a wide variety of people and practices. I look forward to every class I sign up for and leave feeling relaxed, smiling and breathing peacefully. Please go visit and experience the zen for yourself!
Sarah McInturff: Radiant Yoga Boston is a hidden gem in Southie. Each instructor has their own way of welcoming you and making you feel like you’re a part of the RYB community from day one. No matter your experience level, there’s never any judgement or expectations for what you bring to your mat each class. I’m a newbie to the practice and have only felt comfortable and supported by all. Each time I visit, I always leave smiling!
Valerie Cekovsky: Radiant Yoga is an amazing studio in the heart of Southie. It is the perfect retreat for those who are looking for a real home-grown yoga studio. Chanel, the owner, welcomes you with open arms every time you arrive. The instructors and classes are varied so everyone can find something they like. I have continued to go back to them year after year, almost 5 years in the making, because I feel such a sense of community with them. Bonus, I always feel better after I leave. Get to a class, you won’t be disappointed!
Elena Taurasi: The community at Radiant is so warm and welcoming – it feels like coming home! The Studio itself is in a cool, old building and the soul of the space speaks before you even get inside. There is always a happy, fun and upbeat vibe at Radiant. The variety of classes and quality of teachers complement each other and make it possible to get all your yoga wants and needs in one place. It’s clear that everyone on staff is passionate about yoga beyond the physical practice, which inspires a truly loving and supportive atmosphere for all levels of students to explore and grow their practice. The natural comfort of the community makes it easy for all types of yogis to enjoy the ‘bigger picture’ that Yoga offers – and Radiant really offers it all! 3 3 3 Love!
Jessica Kline: I LOVE Radiant! I started practicing just 9 months ago and was definitely hesitant at first - the 'yoga' you see on social media is intimidating and I didn't want to feel that way during classes. The teachers are fantastic, the studio atmosphere is relaxing, and there are a variety of classes to choose from to best fit your schedule and style.
Ramsay Brasza: The Radiant Yoga studio and community has been one of my favorite parts of moving to South Boston about a year and a half ago. I have been to many studios in the past where the mat boxes are drawn out on the floor and everyone files in, puts their mat inside the lines, takes class and then leaves. Radiant Yoga is so much more than that with a loving and caring group of teachers and students that make me truly feel welcomed. I have been working as a work study for over a year now and love spending time at the studio and even the yoga retreats!!
Mariel Modern RE: Best studio and overall yoga community in the area! The teachers are knowledgeable and friendly, and the vibe is incredibly welcoming. Not to mention very unique studio space in the Distillery Building. Worth checking out, will probably end up being your new favorite studio!
brittani smith: I stumbled upon Radiant Yoga Boston a few years ago when I moved into the neighborhood. Immediately the studio felt like home. The space itself was so warm and cozy and the staff was so welcoming. Chanel, the owner, took time to introduce herself was always available for questions after her classes. After a year or so of being a part of the Radiant community and really honing my own practice (thanks Kaileen!!) I decided to enroll in Chanel's teacher training program.Fast forward to today....I cant imagine my life without Radiant and its amazing little community. I teach four days a week and its always the best of hour of my day!
Dianna Nelson: Since moving to Boston, Radiant Yoga has truly been my home away from home. Radiant Yoga is a community-based studio that is both warm and welcoming. The classes that are offered are the perfect blend of creative, accessible, and challenging. If you spend just a few minutes in the lobby between classes you will quickly understand why Radiant is such a special place. You will see yogis smiling, laughing, and chatting about their day. You will see teachers and students greet each other by name. You might see a new student walk in and notice that they are immediately welcomed into a conversation. Radiant Yoga is the type of yoga studio that I would recommend to everybody from the first time yogi to the yogi who has been practicing their whole life!

Bikram Yoga for You: what do users think?
WellTaken CareOf: Started my practice at this studio preCovid. Took a pause and resumed a few months ago. Happy to be back. I missed the yoga, hot room, and the teachers.I no longer have chronic SI joint/lower back pain.I highly recommend for mental health, injury recovery and detoxification!
Giorgianna Grant: Doesn't offer drop in classes, only can attend if you pay 150$ for the month. Extremely rude on the phone. Not everyone wants to pay OR can afford 150 for an entire month.
Molly Magdelena: Looking for the real stuff? They've got hot, original 26 and 2 yoga! Not just a yoga studio, but a true community based on support, love, and dedication. The studio owner, Diane is a master teacher and mentor who has assembled a team of top-notch instructors. Teachers have a deep understanding of the yoga and can guide anyone from a brand new student to an experienced practitioner. You'll be met with smiles and positivity to help inspire all who enter the hot room. Your body and mind will thank you!
amacmel: Nice studio, plenty of parking (usually), friendly atmosphere, great teachers. Good for beginners and seasoned yogis
A M: Very solid, well-taught, consistent Bikram yoga. Owner has decades of experience and instructors are highly knowledgeable and well-trained. Teachers can be trusted to manage a variety of students and situations, from first-time beginners to those with physical limitations to those who have practiced for decades. Studio is clean and offers some items for purchase (yoga clothes, beverages, electrolytes). I've practiced this style of yoga for 19 years, throughout the US and in several other countries. Grateful to be able to practice here since moving to New England. Highly recommend.
Neathery Brenzel: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityWonderful yoga studio with wonderful staff offering wonderful yoga. This place and this practice make me a happier, healthier human.
Ela Matthews: Love this place always helpful high energy great practice!
Samantha Sarblah: As a first timer to Bikram, my experience was not what I expected it to be. I read and heard the class should be somewhere between 104 to 110 degrees. Upon entering the class, I did not feel as though the temperature was within that range. The studio itself was clean, the only major negative was the smell that hit me when I entered the main business door and even the room where the class was taken. During the class, I was surprised the instructor did not model the poses or encourage modifications. After the class was complete, I tried to discreetly talk to Diane at the front desk and express my thoughts on the class and somehow, almost everyone in the front area knew what we were discussing and began to add their inputs not that I asked. I did not want to complete the 7 day class deal and only wanted to pay for a drop in class. She may have been offended that I wanted a refund but I wasnt satisfied with the service. One more thing---- I'd suggest removing the rug and get hardwood floors!!
Samantha Riley: Ill start with staff was friendly. Lobby was nice and clean. Got into class. Nice space but it smelled very bad. Not sure why there is carpet? In a yoga studio, not a great idea. I didnt think the class was very hot. I did the class. But i felt this type of yoga was not for me. I originally paid for week unlimited but realized i would not be back. The instructor got very defensive when i tried to explain that this type of yoga was not for me.and i wanted to just pay for one class. I was told those who think they dont need it, need it the most. I can't say i agree with this statement or some of what was going on in class. In yoga ive never heard just do it. Its supposed to hurt? I have a few injuries and when i did modifying poses i was called out it wasnt right. Im glad there are those who like bikram yoga but this studio is not for me.
Katie Worthington: Love Diane and Margie! Senior teachers of Bkram Yoga aren't everywhere and you will be lucky to catch a class with both of them. So much experience and integrity, you can learn a lot from them and their team. Diane is constantly working to school her teachers on proper technique and practice. Highly recommended!
ELIJAH COHEN: Great place !
Neil Ghezzar: So let me start with the positives: Very friendly staff. The place is big and lockers and bathrooms are great. The teacher herself was very good. So that's why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. So the BIG negatives: the room was not HOT! Maybe they do hot yoga differently in MA, but a hot yoga room has to be anywhere from 104 to 110 degrees fahrenheit. It's hard to say what the exact temperture was when I went, but I feel like it barely hit 80 degrees! The point of hot yoga is that you will feel uncomfortable with the heat. There's no getting around that. So unfortunately I really wasted my time with this visit. I could have just done the 26 poses in my hotel room and just cranked up the heat! The other big negative is the odor in the whole place, but especially in the studio. Which has a rug of all things. So I would imagine the rug captures all these horrible odors. But it really smells like the place hasn't been cleaned in months. And this is all really unfortunate but however very fixable things. Turn up the heat and clean the joint!
Diana Perry: Outstanding and beautifully run Bikram yoga studio. As a physician who has practiced Bikram Yoga for over 11 years, I feel so very fortunate to call this studio home to my practice. I have been practicing here for the past 3 months. Diane Ducharme and her team are consummate professionals. If you have never tried this type of yoga or if you have practiced for years, this is such a great place to recharge your batteries. It will change your life. Every single teacher here is absolutely amazing! Give it a try! You won’t regret it!
margie topf: An amazing studio with wonderful leadership from Diane! All the teachers work together as a team and they’re on the same page and the quality of instruction is wonderful. All are certified Bikram teachers! There is so much healing and love at Yoga for You!!
JD JD: I was in class, or at least trying to be, when the previous poster, Melody, threw her pathetic little tantrum in the lobby. She was upset that the teacher was unwilling to let her "do her own thing" in class rather than follow along with the teacher and EVERY OTHER PETSON IN CLASS. The instructor was beyond polite in attempting to satisfy this whiney, self important, arrogant and rude person, even going so far as to contact the studio owner on her own cell phone. When the owner explained they don't rent out the hot room, they provide Bikram Yoga classes, the petulant person was provided a refund and asked to leave, to the rest of the students applause I might add. Apparently, she then penned a poor review about a non existent stench Believe me when I say the studio is much more olifatory pleasing than any gym I've ever been in, and the air was much clearer when that woman and her complaints disappeared.I have practiced Bikram yoga for years in multiple states and countless studios. This one, and everyone affiliated with it are, by far, the best there is .
Heydi Romero: Love everything about this place, it is clean, inviting and most of all the teachers are amazing, but my favorite teacher is Jackie, she is amazing, what I love the most about her is that she is always encouraging the students to the the best they can, but also tells you great job when you doing a great pose. Love that about her she makes me want to do yoga more and more 😊
Christina McCalla: Best place and teachers. Feels like home when you walk in.
J Will: The best place to practice Bikram! Lovely studio and teachers.

CorePower Yoga: what do users think?
Sheeds L: The teaches talk way too much! Doing the poses with the student is unnecessary! Just give clear instructions! The rooms aren’t hot! And the classes aren’t breath to movement! Nothing about this is core or power yoga!
Jake Hart: This place is disgusting, dirty, un-accommodating, full of corporate greed, antithetical to yoga at its core, exploitative, and totally overpriced for the little that they offer. Everything about it makes for an unpleasant experience.
Amandha Gaio: I used to be a member for around 6 months and on my last month I had a problem with my credit card, so I paid with another one at the front desk and even having paid for the whole month my membership never got back to normal, so every single time I was taking a class I had to show a screenshot of my bank account transaction to show the front desk I had paid for the whole month. Very unpleasant thing to do when you pay over $200 for a membership.
Kimberly Gutzmore (Kimberly): The classes are challenging but not difficult.
john supik: Great staff. Very helpful instructors. Highly recommend the Sculpt and C2 classes here. Will be back
Soham Ganguly: Make sure you cancel during the trial offering else they will charge you for the monthly membership. Canceling can be a drag with long hold times when calling the call center.Music too loud to clearly hear the instructor. Randomly charge you for bottles of water which you never use. Can get very crowded in the evenings.
Jane Kirk: Excellent Yoga Sculpt class, friendly staff and teachers and very clean studio.
Nina Magnotta: Positive:Quality
Morgan Phelps: The best studio. All of the instructors are so personable, nice and fun. I LOVE this studio.
Aminata soumahoro: Unpleasant & Uncomfortable Experience.. Not Very Welcoming …
Erica Simanovsky: This establishment is horrendous when it comes to cancelling your membership. Firstly, I had no intention of creating a membership, this is apparently sneakily included when you sign up for a free first class trial. When I tried to cancel my membership, I was on hold for an hour at a time, or the call center is often closed when I call during business hours. I spent over $200 to attend one yoga class because I could not cancel my membership. They never responded to my email, and to cancel your membership online, it’s buried in the website. For a yoga studio, this place is incredibly frustrating and anxiety inducing to deal with, feels very money grubbing. I never write bad reviews, but I was extremely displeased with them.
Kristin Regan: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityGreat in studio instruction and format. CorePower is challenging but makes you want to come back for more. I have practiced yoga for 30 years. But this mixed format of vinyasa flow, weights and cardio is uplifting and my new favorite workout.
Carolyn Veilleux: Positive:Professionalism,Quality
Sarah Takash: Positive:Professionalism
Rebecca K.: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityA very good hot yoga studio, friendly and clean. Small group and you will get attention and instruction from the teachers. Recommend this place
Laurie Quigley: Positive:QualityI had a great experience at the UES Core Power Studio. I am new to my yoga practice. The instructor was easy to follow and very supportive. I felt great after class. I would definitely recommend the UES Studio!!
Joseph Martelli: 10, 10, 10s across the board! Love it here, love the people, love the instructors. Haven't been able to go for months, but will def go once things open up again.
Marah Smith: Amazing CorePower studio on the UES! My class was in studio 2, which may have been the smaller of the two, but was the perfect size for the Friday evening C2 class. The physical space is beautiful and modern, but most of all— spacious! There is nothing worse than feeling like you are tripping over other people while you try to gather your belongings post-class.Naturally it is a brand new studio, but the bathrooms and showers are pristine! And in keeping with the theme— spacious. You get a complimentary lock & key for your locker, all of which are medium sized. But there is also a separate area with hangers for coats (hi, NYC winter 👋🏽).The class- any easy playful flow, with good music and even better energy. I left feeling absolutely wonderful! (Post class glow, for proof!)It’s also worth mentioning that this particular studio lies in the “fitness section” of the UES 80’s, so there are lots of post workout refuel spots à la Sweetgreen, Just Salad, Whole Foods, Chipotle, along with the UES Levain bakery, should that be what you need. All in all, if you are in the area— or even if you are not, this should definitely become a core part of your UES workout rotation. No pun intended!

North End Yoga Llc: what do users think?
Audrey J: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityAmazing space and great class, thank you Anna! I’ll be back!
Samantha Murphy: North End Yoga is my favorite yoga studio in Boston. Between the location, the fantastic instructors, and the beautiful space, it really feels like an oasis in a beautiful part of the city. I started coming here before COVID, and have recently felt comfortable coming back to studios, and this place has stayed consistently clean and well managed! I am so happy to be back.
Alexandra Gabriel: Beautiful studio even more beautiful practice!
Amy Qiu: conveniently located and offers a variety of classes
Leah Olverd: Kind, friendly staff and a great teacher. Disappointed that there was no music/sound other than the man grunting behind me and the honking outside.
Laura Nelson: Great instructors and beautiful studio!!
Annette Cheng: Coming to Ame and Ben’s classes at North End Yoga these past two years had significantly improved my mood and overall well-being. I can’t recommend north end yoga enough.I was skeptical of yoga in the beginning because I didn’t subscribe to the whole spirituality part of it; however, both Ame and Ben’s style of direct prompts really worked for me. Shuli is also amazing if you want a butt-kicking. Everyone has a slightly different style and there’s something for everyone here. Here, you’ll find men and women who swan dived straight off a lululemon catalogue and other who are just starting to be able to reach their toes. I’ve always felt comfortable here, regardless of my ability/mood/how I feel about my body that day. All the teachers are mindful of the range of abilities and offer variations of poses, which gives me something to strive towards. All in all, I am very grateful for the wonderful folks at North End Yoga.
Christen Boyles: Flew in from out of state with a heavy backpack to lug around for 6 hours. Took a 9:30 am class and (Julie I think?!?) was so accommodating and helped me out when I had hours to spend in the city alone. Class was beautiful and really helped me loosen up after getting not enough sleep and flying in just an hour earlier. Not to mention it is a BEAUTIFUL studio with showers complete with body wash, shampoo and conditioner. All in historic old north in a beautiful old building. Done raving, but such an awesome experience 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Delphine Cherewick: The instructors are great and I love the space. It’s a very nice studio.
Dmytro Florov: Very cozy yoga studio with interesting programs..
Megan Kelley Marina: Incredible studio, brilliant teachers, beautiful space!
Linn Kay: The studio is warm and smells like incense. It's in a convenient location in the North End, just 5 minutes walk from the Haymarket t-stop. There are lots of great places to grab a cup of coffee or salad after yoga nearby as well. They have very nice bathrooms with showers if you need to rinse off before heading out. When you arrive, you're greeted cheerfully and Brittany, one of the pilates teachers, makes an effort to learn names when she's working the desk. The teachers are positive, exceptionally knowledgeable and teach creative sequences so you always feel like you're building to a new pose. Yoga never feels boring here. They have a great selection of classes from relaxing Ananda, to strict Ashtanga, to fun and challenging Vinyasa. Ame teaches a Deepen Your Practice class that is amazing and small and you can learn a lot about correct alignment as well as how to get into challenging poses. She's very funny and makes you feel at home. She also delves into more "basic" poses like chataranga to change your perspective about the pose and show you little things that most people do wrong, so you can elevate your yoga practice and keep away from injuries in other classes with less experienced teachers because you know the pitfalls. Overall, amazing yoga studio!
Lauriston Segerson: My first visit to North End Yoga - When I arrived this morning for the 6:30am class, I mentioned it was my first time and excited. The receptionist was not friendly and told me to wait because the class was full. Once the class started, the teacher came out and told her there was one more spot and I could squeeze in, but the receptionist still told me I could not join the class. Came back to my hotel feeling very disappointed, considering I have read such positive reviews.

CorePower Yoga: what do users think?
Jack Merry: Just a great workout all around 💪☺️
Desiree Hallock: I took a Hot Power Fusion class with Jeanie and it was honestly pretty terrible. There was construction somewhere in the building, so there was the sound of a jackhammer that sounded like it was in the studio with you, the entire class. The instructor cranked up the music in an effort to drown out the jackhammer, but all that did was create a chaotic atmosphere for the whole class. It was also incredibly difficult to hear & understand what she was saying — and frankly, I hated her instruction style. She went back and forth between soft meditation tones and drill-instructor shouting. I’ve been doing 26&2 for over 20 years, so I have a strong understanding of the sequence that HPF is based on, but I had a hard time following the instruction because Jeanie was not demonstrating any of the postures, I couldn’t understand a word she was saying, and the two students in the first row were doing completely different postures, which was really confusing. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t take another class at CPY.
Connor McCarthy: Staff are really nice, the classes aren’t easy there isn’t a chill workout be ready to sweat!!
carlene barnes-williamson: Love Margaret! She is the best, thank you for making my body feel renewed after a great yoga class……
Eileen L: I've been to three locations now near me - and each one is consistently the same - upbeat, knowledgeable, friendly, accepting, helpful, talented staff - you will not ever be disappointed here - EVER.
Gary Martin: I have been Core power yoga at Fresh Pond for months now and I am very happy, All the classes are great, many different types available for your needs.
Kemerlin Milfort: Very nice and respectful
alyssa Felton: Very nice & clean
Ms Mervin: A staff is absolutely amazing. They are courteous professional I would recommend a space to anyone.- Kennedy community school thank you for supporting our camper.
Jacob Pakman: Super kind, wonderful staff. I look forward to my next visit.
Samantha LaForgia: Nice, spacious studio. Friendly staff, clean space. A variety of hot yoga classes to choose from. 11 locations in Boston. Worth checking out if you are in the area!
Jeff Sweet: The Maureen experience is like none other. You have to take her class!!
Ashley Vollrath: Inga from CorePower Fresh Pond is incredible! Whenever I leave her class, I feel ten times better mentally and physically. She has a highly calming voice and delivers a therapeutic/intense experience.
IVANIA CACERES: Yoga sculpt with Widya is just what I was looking for. Great environment 😃
eva armour: I can feel my body relax the moment I step in the studio. The teachers are wonderful -- they seem to know each person's name and put so much care into each routine each week; while I was an athlete growing up, it's the first time I've been able to connect my mind, body, and spirit so seamlessly. I'm so grateful for what this little corner of earth has added to my life.
A. Makela: Excellent instructors/guides, each with different but high quality styles! Excellent variety of classes offered from beginner to advanced to aerobic style yoga. The workouts are as challenging as you make them for yourself, and there is NO JUDGEMENT HERE! You are encouraged to listen to your body and respond to what it needs. I have been going for months and think I have been in classes with at least 10 different instructors - every single one was personable, encouraging, non-judgemental and welcoming. I love it here!
Katie Coyne: I was nervous I wouldn’t be able to keep up in yoga class!Lulu made me feel so comfortable in her class that I couldn’t wait to get back for more !Core power yoga and especially lulu have changed me as a mother , woman and self defeatist !My daughters and husband tell me I’m a new person after lulus yoga classes and to please keep going !Thank you lulu and core power ! Namaste !
Ginger Beau: I think the yoga instructors are great. The place needs to be clean!!! The mirrors and floors are dirty. Get it together. Your website claims to clean it nightly.
Fav S: Great staff, clean facilities, and a thoughtful yet challenging vinyasa yoga class led by instructor Kim. Vinyasa yoga did include a sequence of ab crunches and core strength exercises as well as typical flow.
Gwen McLean: I loved my free week at Core Power Yoga in Cambridge and will be joining up and heading back. It is really great. So many teachers and so many classes. You'll find something you like for sure!
Mark Gardner: Positive:ProfessionalismI’m new to yoga and at first I was a bit intimidated by the more experienced members. However, it’s a very inviting and the instructors are really good explaining the movements and flow of the classes. I just wish we could lose the masks, but it is what it is in the current pandemic, so it’s not that bad.

JP Centre Yoga: what do users think?
Laura Sheehan: Love this yoga center so much it almost makes me want to move to Boston. My 2 months experience there (I live abroad) helped me reconnect with my yoga practice, and it's been a life changer for me!Lovely space, wonderful and knowledgeable teachers, friendly staff, affordable, with a variety of different styles of classes to choose from. I hope I get to visit again!Keep up the good work!
Ilana Yakubovich: favorite yoga studio on the planet. all the instructors are so knowledgeable and kind, the space is so safe and community oriented. classes for all interests and experience levels. highly recommend for all boston folk to check it out :)
Meghan McKinnon: I love this place and I think you will too...
Shira Davis: I love JPCY. I dabbled in yoga to some extent most of my life but this is the first studio that made me want to commit. The atmosphere is welcoming and not intimidating for a beginner, but there's plenty of knowledge and challenge for anyone with more experience. The studio culture/environment clearly speaks to many because students are at all ages and levels.Lots of classes to fit anyone's schedule. I haven't had a bad class yet, though my personal fav teachers are Daniel Max and Ame Wren. Also the studio is vocal about social justice and equity, and actually takes action (e.g. tiered pricing, community classes, etc). It's great to see a business that doesn't just see this as a marketing opportunity.
Justine Portmann Katz: Come for the excellent yoga, stay for the commitment to action supported community centered values. JPCY offers a wide variety of yoga practices from asana (postural) and flow focused to pranayama (breath work) and meditation both virtually and in person (in accordance with CDC guidance) via a new and progressive three tiered pricing model designed to make the practice more financially accessible to the community. The teachers have unique approaches and lineages that inform their offerings, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the space is beautiful.
Sarah: I stumbled upon this studio through class pass. I have lived in JP for years and didn't know it was there until now. I have fallen in love this this studio! It is so welcoming, the instructors have all been so knowledgable and helpful. There is truly people of all levels and it is such a non-competitive, supportive environment to be in!
Sonali Shah: It's been hard for me to find a studio I love this much - but this is it. And I drive 25 min out of my way to get here.
Korri Crowley: I love this studio. The clientele is all ages and all levels and I've always felt welcome. I've practiced with 6 different teachers and they all bring their own personality and approach while all sharing the core principals of health, self care, mindfulness, and general peace. Going here for the past few weeks has reawakened my love of yoga and I'm now practicing almost daily. Thanks JPCY!!
Paul Sweeney: I am thankful for the instruction I receive at JP Yoga. My experience at JP yoga has made a huge difference in my life. Thank you
Stacy Thompson: I was really surprised by how nice this space was and how knowledgable the instructors are. A much needed addition to JP
