House of Blues Boston: what do users think?
Elisabeth Noel: Lots of room, 3 bars, and an upstairs. Fast and efficient staff, friendly bartenders and absolutely sick light set up. Sound is super high quality and it's near lots of great convenient parking.
e frizzie: so so so so so so so so SO beautiful! worth your while. the bathrooms are gorgeous aswell. setting makes me wanna bust a move.
Robbie Frost: I've been to a few shows here and it's becoming one of my favorite venues. The floor is great, with nice spots on either side to lean against a rail or pillar. The box seats are a really nice experience, very comfortable and a killer view.
MA: I would just like to give Jenn aka Big Mama a huge shout out. My friend had diabetes & needed some assistance & she went out of her way to accommodate us. Thank you for being a great person & helping when most wouldnt!
Jonathan Keller: It’s a scam. Selling mezzanine floor concert tickets with no view of the stage
Erin Rauch: The place is great! Staff is welcoming and friendly. Big enough for lots of people but didn’t feel overly crowded. My only complaint is that when were were leaving, my husband and son had nice big cups of ice water with them that they were given at the concessions, which was nice to have after being in a slightly crowded room cheering and singing along to the music. The first person at the exit said as long as it was just water it was fine to bring them. The lady we saw next just grabbed them from my husband and son and said we couldn’t have them. Didn’t even give us a chance to say anything. Really rubbed us the wrong way as it could have been handled much better. We’ll only be back if it’s an epic show.
Carolyn Turner: Barely of age “security” girls who look like they have never had a sip of alcohol, itching to kick people out. Shame on you
Ayan Chatterjee: Saw a lot of rock and metal musicians here: Slash, Periphery, Veil of Maya, Jason Bonham, Spiritbox, Intervals, After the burial, to name a few. The sound system is decent. Sometimes the vocals aren't properly balanced.
Lawrence Hernandez (Larry): as most reviews say try to get the floor tickets if you can try to go early to get the railing on the other floors. I got the floor tickets and was great for me. just remember floor best if not get there early for the rail.
Ben Wiener: They way oversold this show. I'm pretty tall and it was impossible to see.
Josi Araújo: Recentemente fui ao show de Djavan e gostei muito do lugar. Organizado, limpo, staff gentil. Nada a reclamar!
Natalie Cunningham: Terrible experience. I don’t even know where to begin with this place. The manager was extremely disrespectful when he came over to our table holding my ID in his hand after our waitress carded my friends & I after we placed our drink order. He had bent my license almost completely in half, claiming that “other licenses don’t do this” and “they aren’t supposed to bend this much.” He had to forcefully bend my license an extreme amount, just to try to prove some kind of point. To me, this was completely uncalled for. I’m 25 years old and was dressed very conservatively. By no means do I look like an underaged teen trying to use a fake ID. Now, I’m going to have to go out of my way & pay money out of my pocket to fix my license due to the idiotic actions caused by the manager. On top of that, both himself & the waitress did not offer any sort of compensation whatsoever. No sense of sympathy. 0/10 will not be coming back here.
Jamal Gaston: Wezzy f baby
Kristina Kowalik: Intimate venue. Was great!
John Caruso: Awesome venue!
John Kelley: Venue staff are 10/10. I hope they enjoyed hosting Infected mushroom.
Елена Кара: Always a pleasure to come for concert!
Antwan Baldwin: Food was great along with drinks. Lil Wayne concert 🔥🔥🔥
brian trivitt: House of rules
Trie Michaud: As a short person, if you don’t get there early to get rail space you should just leave if you were hoping to actually see the live band.
Shamika Blunt: Such a dope vibe! You have to visit the Foundation Room. It's a restaurant lounge connected to the venue. OMG!!!

Wally's Cafe Jazz Club: what do users think?
Dave Kinghorn: Standing Room Only. I would have had a great time even if I hadn't been lucky enought to get a seat, though. I hope they can knock down the wall and add some more space because I'd love to be back there.
Nat Werth: Superb jazz venue with consistently talented and impressive musicians. One of my few regrets while living in Boston was not visiting Wally’s more often. There’s no cover, so remember to tip the band and to show your support to the venue! I look forward to future nights spent dancing at Wally’s Jazz Café!!
rafael g: Great jazz music... very impressed with Paul's ability to do everything 👏 👌 👍🏼
Éva Thouvenot: As many have mentioned before - says it opens at 5h pm, that’s just BS. I brought my dad (75 years old) to this club, coming all the way from Montreal… we got there at 5h and waited in the freezing rain until 5h30 pm - the bar manager kept telling us “just 10 mins “ … we left, never got in, who knows if they ever opened? Very disrespectful. Won’t ever go back.
lala stein: This bar is our kind of local bar! Friendly and great music. We were there on a Tuesday night, funky music
Rob Goodwin: This is the best Jazz and best vibes you will find in New England.
DextDee Studios. LTC: Great environment. Super nice owners. Family own and managed.
James Wynn: Boston jazz at its finest...
Stéphane Perron: Very bad experience . The bouncer and the manager at the entrance are full of contempt for the clients. Overrated place. It stinks. I love jazz and have been to many jazz clubs around the world. This is easily one of the worst ones. Money grab for naive tourists. Walk around the area, there are many jazz clubs or restaurants with live bands that respect their clients. All the 4 and 5 for this awful place are obviously friends of the management trying to bury all the 1. Beware. Filter the reviews.
Dylan Sidd: My first fail attempt to go to Wally’s was 1993, on my way I got mugged on Columbus Street, back then it was not so safe area. I was a student, after my school I moved to California, my kid is going to same university as I did and I came to visit her. This was my first visit to Wallys, which I have waited 30 years, I walked in with the full style, could not have been happier to be there. It’s an iconic place to be. I had fabulous time.
David Hale Smith: Unique small venue for enjoying great music in an intimate historic setting. Cozy spot with walls lined by photographs and news clippings of jazz history. Pretty good prices on drinks for Boston. Wonderful place to see talented newcomers on Sunday nights when students and friends play for tips. Do not miss this spot.
Tim Barnes: Amazing spot if you love jazz!
Alan Pierson: Great music! And real history here too
Donal Waide: Been here on and off since 90s. It's not just Jazz, it's Wallys!
T K: Maybe the coolest place you never knew was there
Alfonso Sira: Great place to go for live music!
Priscila Drummond: Cozy place with live performance and nice drinks.
Phil B: Fun atmosphere. Open late on weeknights.
Kevin M. Doyle: Truly, a Boston institution. If you like jazz, you'll love this simple little bar that loves to showcase up and comers as well as accomplished and famous jazz musicians.
KR Marañon: Jazz night during the winter time, grab a drink enjoy the live music, and don’t be afraid to share the energy with the performers - respectively.
Christina Moreno: Every time we go to Boston, we always go to Wally’s! It is THE place to go to have a good time! It is extremely lively, and the music is always extraordinary.

Jude Heichelbech: Don’t arrive early. They won’t seat you. If you find an empty table and try to sit for a moment, the bouncer will grab you by the arm and lift you up! If you try to dance for the last song of the night, staff will come and tell you to stop because they don’t have a “license” for that. After you eat, they’ll remove half your table area to give to others. Also, as others have noted, I saw a mouse run right past a nearby patron’s feet. Our waiter was great. But I found the house staff pretty rude, aggressive and patriarchal. Weird vibe. Will avoid in the future. Too bad! Cool building/live music, decent food/cocktails.
Carlos Ditren: Love it!
Nate Stafford: This place was amazing. Atmosphere was great! Waiter was super friendly and the food was delicious. Sharon Bao: Amazing live music spot! Great drinks as well. Some of the entrees were hit or miss for me, but I think the ambiance more than makes up for it. Jennease Hyatt: So I went to beehive late last night and the vibe was super cute. Band was about to wrap up, waiter was friendly. The drink was AMAZING!!! I'm sitting in full view of the kitchen and suddenly I see mice running all around and I'm like, whoa, ok. They seem to be having party of sorts. I had paid for my drink at this point and I call to the waitress who helped us to tell her what I was seeing. Apparently this was common and she said the manager would come over. The manager never showed up, but two young men dressed in all black did and at this point I am now pointing out the mice running up and down the curtains and the ones in plain view of us while we were talking. And he's like, yea, we've called an exterminator, etc... and I was like, sir! I've seen like 10 mice prancing about, this is just not ok! I couldn't believe how casually ok they were about what was clearly an infestation. Not ok!!!
Sabrina Arguello: I’ve been coming to the Beehive for a few years now and each time is a wonderful and unique experience. I love this spot and I especially love the jazz music that is played throughout the night. Such an awesome spot to have a good drink, great company, and amazing food.
Joana C: Boa vibe, boa música, atendimento rápido.Comida, zero estrelas.
Erin Quinn: Recommended dishes Eggs Benedict with Ham, Eggs ShakshukaMore
Alex Drake (Adrake1234): Food was significant subpar and the drinks we definitely less then that. Over all spent way to much money for atmosphere. Would suggest for vibe. Would not suggest for food or drinkFood: 1/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Wacky Alpacas: Let me first say- prior to tonight Beehive was my absolute favorite restaurant in Boston that I always recommended every out of town visitor to visit. After tonight that is no longer the case.Long story short- our waiter brought us the check before our dinner even arrived at the table. We were very confused but he said it was something about him being “cut”? I asked if I could get another drink before we paid our very early check and he said no, but he told us another waiter would be with us for the rest of the night. Fast forward 30 minutes and no new waiter came and I still didn’t have a drink. My partner got up and asked another staff member for a waiter y they said someone would be right over. We waited another 15, no one came, so we asked someone else and they sent a very stressed out waiter over who ended up giving us the wrong drinks and never came to check in about them.I am so disappointed because this used to be my all time favorite restaurant in Boston for years and it seems they have prioritized making money on increasing capacity over customer experience.**** also important to note- they added standing room in the middle of the downstairs- so unless you are seated in front of the stage/mezzanine you will not see/hear the live music anymore
Geno Brown: It’s a vibe here. Went on a Thursday night and enjoyed the people and music. Get your reservations in earlier or just show up and grab a seat at the bar.

Robert Ljunggren: Went in while I was in town getting my daughter from college. Two guys sitting behimself the host station did not say anything, just looked at us. Walked over to the bar and same treatment, the bar tender looked at us and walked the opposite walk and started talking to other people. Stood there for about 15-20 minutes, then left. Absolutely a disappointment, was horrible service by the staff.
Grace Hommel: I have been here many times in the past, as have many of my friends and we loved it. However, last weekend, my friend who is well of age was not let in after I watched a group of people walk in without IDs checked. Others were not questioned & when we showed our real IDs we got sent away. disappointing and upsetting. 3/10 recommend.

Janaki Mehta: Takes real IDs, global entry, or health insurance card, the bouncer with red hair was consistently disrespectful and rude, would never attend.attend. Lost the business of myself and all my friends.
Derrick Coleman: It's okay, I liked the vibe but the bar service was pretty slow and inattentive for there only being a few bar patrons. What really brought it down was the food. The fried chicken was awful. Overcooked and flavorless. I'm actually surprised a cook or chef put those three pieces of chicken on a plate and sent it out.Food: 1/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Mark Plante: Awful food experience. Server was very nice throught. Fried chicken was lacking meat and mostly burnt and dry and mostly bones. The brisket dip was a bowl of warm, salted, milky soup with a small sprinlke of brisket on top. Who is checking the food? No system in place here for quality so it will be hit or miss on your food. I guess we should have gone for last call... 🤪. Did I mention the server was very sweet?
Taylor M: A group of 5 of us made a reservation at Loretta's for brunch weeks in advance for yesterday (sunday) morning. We were so excited to come here! It was our friend's 30th birthday weekend celebration and she loves this place. Unfortunately, our experience has soured even her feelings about the place. So here's what happened - we get there right when it opens @ 10:30/which is when our reservation is. We order drinks and food. Decent bloody mary drinks but definitely not loaded up like some of the pics I've seen. We're the first people there, and then some folks trickle in to a few tables, but not many. There was live music and that was awesome. An hour goes by, we finally get our food and it's cold. So, we go to find/tell the waitstaff - a few things to add: no one really checked on us, we only had been able to order 1 drink, and when we asked a girl walking by for help, she told us really not very nicely "I'm not your waiter." I guess she was the bartender. Which was a bit of a shock - most, if not all of us, in our group have worked in the food service industry. Usually, the bartender will say something a bit more kind - like I'm not your waiter, but let me get them for you. When we finally get a hold of our waiter, they look at us a bit condescendingly and say, "it just came out." We ask if they can reheat it but they don't have a microwave, they can only re-make it so we say sure - yes, please re-make the food. One person in our group was so grossed out by her cold brisket hash that she just sent it back completely and didn't order anything else. Similar to the bloody mary drinks, none of the food (chicken & waffles, french toast, etc.) looked like the beautiful pics I've seen. My friend, who's been here before, also was a bit shocked by how different the food was.Again, we all understand how crazy restaurants can be and how crazy people can be too. Our group was smiling and nice since we walked in the door, we were understanding about the food & and there were countless opportunities to make our experience better. While we're waiting for our food to be re-made, we order more bloody mary drinks and they're on the house - thank you wait staff! When we finally get those however, they all have whiskey in them when only 1 person ordered whiskey, the others asked for vodka. So we tell the waitstaff and the bartender, and again receive more condescending behavior that we don't know what we're talking about. The bartender eventually re-makes them and the bloody mary tastes much better with the vodka we asked for.The food gets re-made and it looks 100000x better. Is it amazing, like the pictures? No, but it's warm and at least tastes okay. After we eat and drink, we wait a long time for our check to come but it finally does, we pay, thank the waitstaff and get out of there. Unfortunately, the story doesn't end there - with at least half of us, the food doesn't sit right and we end up being sick to our stomachs the rest of the day/night into today.TLDR: avoid the food, drinks are okay; double check your credit card statement, they will also try to charge you 2x!this place has the potential to do better & be better than this..I hope one day we can come back and have a different, better experience than the one we received.
Joseph Cavera: Going north to get southern style food is pretty counterintuitive- but effective it seems! This place sells true southern style chicken, ribs, cornbread and biscuits better than any I've ever eaten. The redneck Capri sun was delicious, and the buttermilk chicken and ribs were on point. This place is a gem.2023 Update: Still as good as ever. This time had live music. We made it a point to come back here, all the way from NJ, before we headed back home. Even when "busier" we still had zero wait for a table. They could probably hire 1-2 more waitstaff, as 2-3 servers essentially run the entire restaurant, but otherwise perfect service and food.
Rudra Dube: Atmosphere: 4/5More
Bing Nguy: Atmosphere: 5/5More
angela fleming: Super disappointed no one knew about Loretta Lynn. In the words of family guy “they’re a great big phony”
arian harvey: Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More

Regattabar: what do users think?
TBird100636: Let me be the first to say, I'm not a hard core Jazz aficionado. It started with a friend sharing Postmodern Jukebox almost 4 years ago. While I didn't like every cover they put out, I kept watching. In September of 2016 they debuted a new cover of Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up". The featured singer was a Swedish national treasure, jazz multi-instrumentalist Gunhild Carling. I was blown away by her energy, and being able to play so any different musical Instruments, and sing to boot. Weeks later, she was featured again, covering Madonna's "Material Girl", singing, playing trombone, and tap dancing. I was hooked, and started following her and her equally talented family shortly thereafter. While most of her touring was elsewhere in the world, she did occasionally have dates in the United States. I can't travel far for a variety of reasons, so even going to New York where she performed most frequently was out. Only something close to the South Shore area was feasible. With her increased fame from her PMJ covers, as well as her weekly stream from her former residence in Stockomollan, Sweden, she began to perform more frequently in the US.In the summer of 2018 she announced a variety of tour dates for the middle of November. One of those dates was the 14th, at Regattabar in Cambridge, located in the Charles Hotel. I ordered a ticket a couple months in advance, the pricing wasn't bad. Other than evening commuter traffic going into and out of Boston, it wasn't hard to get to. It took about an hour to get there from the South Shore. If you plan on coming here, use Google Maps to get directions and input the time you plan on leaving, that way you will get an accurate gauge of how long it will take to get here. Parking was very easy, it was in the hotel's own parking garage, Regattabar will validate your ticket for a buck or two off. For parking, drive all the way around the garage until you find the elevators, there seemed to be ample spaces right around there.I arrived early, doors actually opened 1/4 of 7 for the 7:30 showtime. Seating is randomly assigned, I guess according to when you bought your ticket, so I had a good seat in the front row to the left of the stage. It's a big room, seating take up about a 1/3 of it around the stage area, behind it is an open floor for dancing. The waiter greeted me almost right away, and I ordered a drink. I will say the drink seemed to have like a lead or graphite taste to it, but was passable. The show started right on time, Ms. Carling was backed up by New York based musicians Dave Post on bass, Matt Baker on piano, and Daniel Glass on drums. Let me tell you, if you have never seen Gunhild perform in person, go do it already. She is an amazing, friendly performer. I knew she would be better to see in person, but I was totally blown away. She did an hour and a half set that night.Overall, this was my first time at a jazz club, and it was a positive experience. The size of the room is great, with windows to look outside over-viewing Bennett St. The acoustics of the room were fantastic, the volume of the mics wasn't too loud, it wasn't too hot or too cold either. The lighting in the room set the mood well. Other than the drink issue, the chairs at the tables were a tad uncomfortable. Not much cushioning, and too upright for me. Other than that, a very enjoyable experience.7/4/2019 EDIT: I went to Regattabar on 6/20 to see Gunhild Carling perform again, simply amazing. Other than that, I did order a drink again, this time it didn't taste funny. The chairs are the same uncomfortable ones from last time. Even still, I had a front row seat, the earlier you buy a ticket, the better the seat you get.11/23/2022 EDIT: I'm not sure what's going on, but Regattabar closed 3/2020 as a result of the pandemic, but where the majority of venues have already reopened, this venue strangely has not. The website simply displays "Regattabar is temporarily closed due to Covid-19 until further notice.". I would hope they eventually reopen, but over 2 years later it does not appear so.
Spud Resnick: If show gets canceled due to pandemic you'll be ignored and never haveyour money refunded
M King: Love the small room. Close to the band w a bit of room to dance.
Tej Patel: Jazz band was amazing, the service was not efficient. Waiting staff should utilize mobile credit card scanners.
Oh Mail: Politics must be in politics, and this bar is political litter.
Maciej Wasiel: The other big jazz club in Boston. Musical acts are often world famous and the club is small enough to feel cozy. If you plan on drinking get your order in as early as possible because they only ever have one bartender who works like a madman for the first hour. If the house if full you might have to wait 30+ minutes for your jazzy cocktail. Better yet, buy a drink from one of the bars downstairs and bring it with you. Your table neighbors will be green with envy.
Vera Rubin: The recital was very much below a good jazz standard
Ralph ABRUZZESE: Great !
Maiyim Baron: very comfy place with exciting Jazz attractions. Good sound system and seating all around. Get there early to get a good table. Unobtrusive competent wait staff and very good small plates to order along with your drinks. The liver pate is amazing. Maybe the best I've ever had.
Jose Luis Altuve: Good place
Roger Reis: Nice place! Slow drink service. Close intimate setting. Great place for a date.
Irene Aguero-Torres: I wish the Regattabar was open EVERYDAY. Evelyn is the best waitress EVER!
Joyce The Voice: Great concert and venue.
Carmella Ciampa: Great place!
Wako Iwasaki: You sit so close to see some of the best musicians in the world!
Lee Ann Freitas: Went to see Nellie McKay and they booted her off the stage...don't invite amazing world class musicians if they can't play their entire set. I adore Nellie, she put on an amazing show and to not be able to listen to her full set was dissapointing. The Regatta cut off her mike at exactly 9:45. Evil.
Bow Stratton: Nice to be very close to the performers. Needs some updating though and service is always a bit slow
Ismail Lahbibi: Nice
Ben Dottinger: Awesome location, awesome atmosphere, awesome scheduled performers. I feel like they pack it just a little too tightly though, it's kind of suffocating
Valerie Lattell: Kind of a strange set up for a music venue, but all the seats were good and you could hear the music well. Plus, parking is underneath the hotel which is convenient.
Joseph Carper: I have a love/hate relationship with this place. You can’t choose your seats ahead of time, the sound is iffy, the service is indifferent, the set lengths can be pretty short, the space is quirky...but those times when the artist and audience click, it’s terrific.

Blues Union: what do users think?
Irina D: Great community and great covid precautions. Come dance blues on Thursday nights!
Mike Legenthal: This is a friendly, fun way to learn to dance blues. It's a good community, with great music and a debit dance floor. You don't need to bring a partner, or to have any dance experience- there are lessons every week
Pauli Katz: The community here is incredible, the instructors know their dance history, and the social dance scene is safe and designed to help people let go, and dance.
Dustin Spicuzza: The place for blues dancing in Boston!
Nancy Kierstead: I drive an hour and a half, one way, to get to blues Union. it is a room full of people who love to blues dance! Very welcoming dance community. All levels of ability. Very affordable. every 6 or 8 weeks they do have a live band, usually it is DJ music.
Stephen York: A welcoming social dance community, and my favorite place to go out on a Thursday night!

Ashwin Varghese: Amazing vibes
Joshua Wolf Coleman: Cool enough, but filled with youngsters and — they don’t have live music anymore!!!
Kayla K: Go here if you want your VALID ID TAKEN AWAY. Talked down to and told I should call the cops if I wanted to prove that my ID was real.
ebru sözer: Muhteşem
Doug Roberts: Retro dive stylings, amazing pub food and great daily specials make this place a hidden gem. Can’t wait to go back!
Tony Buelsing: Tried to go to comedy night, bouncer claimed that my real ID was fake and I would have to call the police to get it back, so I did. They showed up and got it back, but the bouncer continued to insist to them that it was fake so despite the police telling them it wasn’t, I was told that I still wouldn’t be allowed inside.
Mark Diethelm: An actual divider bar in the seaport. I hope it never closes. Great atmosphere, chill crowd, good times.
GrosTaco: Been to a stand up show on a monday !
Amy Gabel: Divine fish and chips.
Chocobo Pie: The menu is really fun and it has a very tucked in, old Boston sorta vibe.
Matthew Mattson: Always fun, good atmosphere, and affordable drinks for seaport

Foundation Room Boston: what do users think?
karen hines: FUN!
Stephanie Saunders KEY TEAM at COMPASS: So fun to see music in a smaller space. Will be back!
Camilla Henriksen: Amazing atmosphere. Trish, the membership sales manager is incredible.
joey gray: Danehall night was night
Sam M: Great shows, great and unique experience
V L: Went after a late Red Sox game and had a good time. A very small spot but good music and good vibes.
Larry Carter: Awesome find. Good food and drinks and people
Stephanie Williams: The worst!! We went at 5:30 (with reservations) and they tried to sit 4 of us on two couches with a coffee table for dinner. We asked for a regular table and that was clearly a huge imposition (per the hostesses face and reaction when we kindly asked for a regular table). She was kind enough to accommodate us after a “meeting” with the manager (FYI…there were a ton of open tables). Once we were seated it took 20 mins to get our drink order and 40 mins to put in our food order (it was not busy). We ordered dirty martinis and they tasted like a glass of straight olive juice. One hour and 30 mins later we finally got our food…which was not entirely correct. The Mac and cheese tasted freezer burnt (to prove my point it was cold in the middle), the quesadillas tasted like old chicken (and cold in the middle) and the hamburger was completely over cooked. The waitress was nice but never came to check on us. My husband ordered a beer that never came but did show up on the bill. After dinner we thought we would grab a drink at the bar (not sure why) before heading to Fenway for our concert. The bar was not busy but it took at least 25 mins for the bartender to address us. When she asked what we wanted we started to place our order (4 very straight forward drinks) and she made a hand gesture like “yeah yeah what else”….we were so shocked and appalled. Not to mention the entire place smells of incense…like reeks and of it! No wonder this was the only restaurant with reservations available on a concert night! I would rather eat chewed gum off the street than step foot in this place again!
Josh Spivey: Food decent. Drinks meh. Food coming out 10 mins after food, no bueno.
Tammi Granese: Great sound. Hard to get a drink if it's busy.
Seth M: The Foundation Room is really nice in that there's great carpeting, pseudo-ornate chandeliers, a fireplace, and an intimate setting. The decor harkens to a mixture of Victorian, Persian, and Indian themes which is quite interesting, if a bit gaudy. The setback here really is that the bar service is atrocious. Just embarrassingly slow. It's one thing to be short-staffed, but when they're fully staffed they're just slow, inefficient, and bad.
Sam VanKirk: Amazing service and atmosphere!
Amanda Madden: The venue itself is great and a perfect add-on to your show ticket and the drinks are great but I wouldn't recommend eating here. The food is a bit pricey for what you get - though not exorbitant by any stretch - but the quality is subpar. None of the 4 meals or app we ordered were very tasty, and some were just yucky. Lots of much better restaurants at similar price points in the area that won't leave you unsatisfied or with an upset stomach.
Kari Beaulieu: Highly recommend getting access to the foundation room
sean guerin: I work there come and see me
Lamarr English: Love the bar/nightclub before and after concerts. The menu is pretty good and the dj’s in between are pretty cool. Love the classy, upscale vibes while at the bar. Being able to grab a drink 10x faster than folks inside of the venue during concerts is an incredible perk. One of the best parts about going to House of Blues in Boston is enjoying the foundation room.
Michael Zimnock: Fantastic experience, incredible setting that took me by surprise the moment I walked thru the door.
Annie Rabi Bernard: The art and ambiance are unbeatable here. The space has a very indian vibe which I really love and the rugs are so colorful ! The drinks are pretty decent, not too many options but still good.
Jake Cohen: Room was nice service was neat thanks
Nathan Brady Crain: Tons o fun. Fod is a bit pricey.
J Archer: Not VIP at all. Corporate has created a lovely space. Sadly, the local team fails miserably at offering service. Ice water in a cup. This is VIP? And that’s the only water you get. The server doesn’t know what’s on the menu. The bartenders (2) don’t know what spirits are on the shelves behind them and they don’t know cocktails. The manager asked me how it was going and, when I informed him of the above, he claimed it was because I moved, with his assistance, from one sofa to another twelve feet away. Nonsense. Foundation Room is a waste of your money. No one there is going to care if you politely express that you’re uncomfortable or receiving bad service. In fact, you’ll be sorry that you answered their knee-jerk service questions. Avoid!

Lansdowne Pub: what do users think?
Andrew Pelletier: Great food and fast service. My wife and I came for a pre show dinner and it was excellent! The service was fast and friendly. The food was hot, fresh, and tasted wonderful. I had the Irish empanadas and my wife had the shrimp kabobs. So good! The restroom is were clean and well maintained.
Greg Costa: Always a great time!
Curt Burnham: Good foodGood musicGood drinksGood crowdWhat more can you ask for except good people
Megan M: Sat down at the bar with a friend and wasn’t acknowledged until we shouted to one of the bartenders. They still didn’t greet us or say hi. We wanted to order food so I placed my order and she immediately sent it to the kitchen without asking what my friend wanted and got mad at us when we said we wanted to order more food. She finished placing our food order and went back to ignoring us until we flagged her down again to get a drink. Bartenders are extremely rude and not attentive. Would not recommend.
Paradoxbot13 _: Great vibe and staff is amazing
ipaimbiber: Great service, fast food delivery!
K Tower: It was Red Sox opening day. The Cask & Flagon was a zoo. 6 deep at the bar. So I made my way down to the Lansdowne and found a great bar with great people and only 2 deep at the bar. The bartender even took the time to pour a proper Guinness. Happiness..
Alex Martinez: Lansdowne is a popular spot for young people to go out, drink, and dance. The music is usually ok, the drinks aren't terribly expensive, but all in all it's a pretty average experience.
Kestrel Eisenstat: They took my real ID and I had to call the police just to get it back
Jessica Garcia: We were in a small group, we sat at the bar had some beers and baby Guinness shots. Food was great, we had the sliders and wings.
Jillian Kent: Lansdowne is good to hit before a show at HOB or MGM for a quick bite and some drinks. They have live music that usually corresponds with whoever is playing at the bigger venues. The only thing I don't like is that if you don't show within 15 min of a reservation, they charge you $100.....even if it's dead and no one is waiting. Lammme
Racheal Webb: Bartender friendly and good vibe. It was pretty busy but I enjoyed the live music and my drink while waiting for friends.
Michelle Nelipowitz: Lyndsey is amazing! She was incredibly kind and accommodating! Thank you so much Lyndsey!
Colin Campbell: Great bar. Fantastic atmosphere. Got to busy for us later on.
Jessica Forraht: Will cancel a reservation 2 hours before with zero notice or apology!
Misha Trubs: Awesome
Josh Desmond: A band was there on Saturday night that was fun and good. Cover was $10 which included a seltzer if you used their app Line Leap. The bar was connected to Bill's Bar next door too where another band was playing so it was great value for a random Saturday night.
Dan M: Great spot for some live music and beers before a Sox game!
Paige Turner: We went in with a large group and had a pretty great time. The live music was fun but the womens bathroom ran out of toilet pepper around 11pm and was never restocked.
Jason Adler: Food and service were typical for pub.
Skye Kovacs: Great service, great atmosphere, great music, perfect vibe!
