Oakleaf Cakes Bake Shop: what do users think?
Daniel Gulyas: Lovely spot just around the corner. All great products and staff.
Jennifer M.: We had the BEST cake from Oakleaf at our wedding. The detail went above and beyond, they perfectly executed our cake vision, not to mention, it was delicious too!
Ben Amerault: Thank you for the amazing cake, Madison! I will definitely return for all of my future cake orders. I highly recommend Oakleaf!
Rachel Amerault: Madison at Oak Leaf made my birthday cake so special. It was obvious she put thought and care into the creation of this cake. Truly was so special to enjoy with family on my birthday!
Kayla Pringle: As someone with an egg allergy, it’s not common for me to have a great tasting birthday cake. Oakleaf has managed to make two amazing gourmet cakes in my life in the past year; the first being the most delicious Pumpkin Spice vegan cake that was my wonderful birthday cake I don’t think I’ve ever had cake that good!! The second was for my partner and was a lovely red velvet cake that I’m still waiting for someone to share a slice with me! The customer service when ordering the one for my partner was phenomenal and I truly trust no other shop when it comes to cakes!
brianlidawg: Great spot to grab a quick brekkie! Very quaint atmosphere combined with stellar pastries and coffee give the place a warmth and homey feel. They make their own Chai latte blend and its delicious! Their croissants are tasty too! 10/10 would recommend!
Robert Tucker: Outclass service
Jacob V: Oak Leaf did our wedding cake, and it was absolutely perfect. Aside from tasting amazing, they worked with us to customize certain decor on the cake, including adding a fondant figure of our dog on the side which looked exactly like him. The delivery was smooth and well on time in advance of our ceremony/reception, and the cake itself was a hit on our dessert table.
Cam Collyer: This is not a latte! Please, if you are going to charge $4.50 for a latte, please make it a latte!
Daniel Bergen: I got the chocolate lovers gourmet cake for my mother's 80th birthday, 5" for an astounding $40 and it wasn't chocolatey at all, the frosting only tasted like butter and sugar, and I got bad heartburn. Definitely not worth it.Response to reply below: not only did I ensure it served at room temperature as they tell you repeatedly, I wondered what it is about these cakes that they are so insistent that they are served that way. I have had lots of cakes before that were served chilled that tasted fine, maybe they are skimping on ingredients. Anyway, this cake wasn't very good and not worth the money.
David Chang: I had a chocolate chunk cookie and pumpkin spice oat latte as a snack while passing by. Cute little cafe with a relaxed vibe. Loved it
Madison Whitley: Oakleaf made the cutest custom cookies for our wedding welcome bags. They were almost too pretty to eat, but the ones we ate were delicious. Thank you Liz & team!
Ruth Nore: Best Chai I've had in a long time!
Vivian Carrera, née Chen: My husband's favorite anime is Dragon Ball Z, so when it was almost his birthday, I decided that I was going to get him a Dragon Ball Z cake. I found multiple top rated bakeries in and near Boston. To my chagrin, all of the bakeries turned me down because making a Dragon Ball Z was not considered very Instagram-worthy.I kept on looking, however, and finally found Oakleaf Cakes. I contacted them with barely a line of notes because I assumed Oakleaf would just turn me down. To my surprise, with only 6-7 days until my husband's birthday, Oakleaf said it would make the cake!Because Oakleaf was not among the highest rated bakeries in Boston, I expected an intricate cake due to the high price, but did not expect a great tasting cake. I was wrong! As someone who generally does not enjoy cakes, I actually really loved the chocolate chocolate cake Oakleaf made for my husband! My husband also loved how the cake looked and cherished it so much that he could not bring himself to eat the dragon fondant sculpture until it went bad!We are so impressed!
Chris E: They literally misspelled my girlfriend’s name on the cake. You had one job… Will update on the flavor.
Chris Shen: Amazing baked goods (both traditional and vegan) are matched with a great variety of hot and icy drinks... so good!
Isamary Garcia: Red velvet ombré cake was beautiful & delicious!
Nicholas Price: Several years ago, before we got married, my wife got a birthday cake from Oakleaf Cakes Bake Shop. It was filled with realistic jasmine flowers made out of frosting. It was so beautiful and delicious that we knew we needed Oakleaf to prepare the cakes for our wedding day. And they did not disappoint in the least. For our wedding, they provided three elegant and delicious cakes to sit on top of platforms on our desert table. In addition, we ordered a large number of macaron's accentuate the beauty of the cakes and the rest of the desert table. And yet again, both the cakes and macarons were delicious. The staff were friendly and easy to work with. They delivered everything to the venue on time. We would highly recommend working with Oakleaf for any special cakes you need.
Susan Sommers: Staff was wonderful, but the cake was tasteless. We bought a little chocolate cake with white icing for my husband’s birthday. It was a beautiful cake and well done, just had no flavor to the cake. The icing texture was wonderful, but, again, lacking flavor - definitely not your average buttercream sweetness. (The cake was served appropriately two hours out of the shop’s display case.) The sugar cookie tasted like shortening rather than buttery. So disappointed. Five stars for the staff, one star for the cake and cookie. Bottom line, not our style of cake.
Anne Chao: 可愛的蛋糕店!杯子蛋糕真是好吃店員人都很好,我每次都會去點冰巧克力雖然菜單上沒有但他們都會人很好的讓我點~優質的小小蛋糕咖啡店~~~
Randi Simons: I ordered a vegan cake from Oakleaf. It looked beautiful was wonderful to eat. I had some confusion about my payment when I placed the order, and ended up having to call and ask them to cancel the order so I could resubmit it. Communication was a bit difficult because no one answers the phone when you call, but my calls were returned and I got all the assistance I needed, so I was grateful for that. Would definitely recommend.

Lolly's Bakery: what do users think?
Bebe Shih: Most of the complaints are about the birthday cakes. I really like their breads and cookies. But still can’t understand the price. Got similar stuff every time but sometimes it’s around $10 but there are times would be around $20, quite a range. Hopefully they can mark the prices.
Anderson Muñoz: Una muy buena panaderia
Denis Ramirez: Excelente servicio
Adanalfredo Cascohernandez: Excelente atención y excelente producto
Jen Nascimento: Best mom & pop+ family run bakery around! They have all sorts of delicious baked goods. I myself have ordered some amazing birthday cakes, every single order has been a hit at parties! TRES LECHES IS A MUST! 10/10 Highly recommended
Michael Plant: THE BEST BAKERY IN BOSTON. The best banana bread I’ve ever had in my life. I’m from out of town here for work. Heard about Lolly’s through people in the area and it totally exceeds the hype. Authentic panadería. Don’t miss this amazing family-owned bakery!
Xavier Ortiz: Delicious bread
G. Eunice Yax Tzul: Good 👍
Maritza Villatoro: Buen lugar
Raina Searles: Delicious Latin American pastries, especially the tres leches cake
Paige Thimmesch: Such a wonderful bakery with lovely staff and delicious baked goods!
Martin Ornelas: La Rosca de Reyes que hacen ahí es muy buena.
Villadil Arias: Excelente atención
Carol Sardonini: Lolly's Bakery made a Tres Leches cake for a wedding shower we hosted and it was not only beautiful, it was delicious. So many of the guests commented on the wonderful, fresh flavors of the cake. Thank you Lolly's! We will be back!
Cesar garcia: Really good
Ivania Guadalupe: Me encanta el pan de esta panaderia
Mary Lou Notaro: I ordered a cake on a Thursday for the following Tuesday during Christmas week and the writing looked rushed and poorly done. They also outlined the picture I sent them in yellow frosting for no reason, the outline wasn't straight and made the cake look bad. There also was a dab of white frosting that wasn't meant to be there. They definitely rushed the cake.
Angel Robles: Lots of Pan Dulce varieties and other ethnic goods all at a very reasonable price. $20 dollars go a long way here
Victor Torres: Me encanta sus bizcochos de 3 leches son unicos.
Amanda Maurer: I’m so glad I stopped in. Everything is delicious.
William Garcia: Recommended it

Bova's Bakery: what do users think?
anna loy: Loved the tiramisu
Jenny Champ: The best cannoli I've ever eaten.
Charles Rez: Best bakery in town hands down. There is such a wide variety and everything is at a reasonable price. I got the strawberry shortcake box cake and an Oreo cannoli, both delicious. I would highly recommend going here if you have the chance. 10/10
Pete Darnell: Wicked good and wicked expensive
Michiel Kriele: 24 / 7 geopend, en heel veel keus, lekkere taartjes en zoete versnaperingen. Altijd druk als je wat gaat halen.
Carolina: Best cheesecake ever!
Mohamed Hegazy: Exceptional florentine cannoli!
Fab Trav: 10/10 you already know this is the best in the Northend.
Marie Kern: Came here after doing some research and finding that it was a great bakery to stop. Overall was okay, tried a chocolate chip cannoli and a lobster tail and while they were good I’ve definitely had better. A good option if looking for a sweet fix but nothing life changing.
Celeste Jackson: absolutely fantastic and super quick service despite being busy, I'll definitely be back when I'm in town again
Richard W: The cannolo is the best I’ve had. I thought I didn’t like cannoli because every single one I’ve had in NYC were overly sweet and had a gritty texture. The cannoli at Bova’s have a completely smooth filling that’s not too sweet. The other pastries I got are also delicious, but the cannoli are the must try!Edit: I returned to try the tiramisu. All I’ll say is, if I lived near Bova’s I’ll gain twenty pounds in a year.
M Pagliei: Had the pleasure of enjoying one of the best sfogliatella at Bovas this past weekend. Having sampled to bakeries with all the hype - This place is the real deal. - Go to Bova's!
PRASHANTH D: Good. But u can’t sit and eat
Alexis Newman: Such delicious treats! The Boston cream pie, chocolate brick, and cannoli are all excellent!
Nestor Hernandez: Bova's Bakery is fantastic! Their lobster tail is incredible - flaky, buttery, and filled with a rich, creamy filling. Highly recommended!
Gracie Gralike: I got a cannoli and another pastry (that I never ate since I was too full!), but I thought that the cannoli was really good. I had the peanut butter and chocolate flavored one. The line is pretty long at night and the workers seem a bit stressed with the crowds. 4 stars because I thought it was a little expensive based on what it was. Paid over $10 for 2 pastries.
Katherine: Everything was delicious! My favorite was the chocolate covered cannolis!Added bonuses: open 24/7 & accept credit cards!
J T: The chocolate bomb is da bomb!!! Chocolate cake was a bit dry but incredible frosting. Husband liked the coconut cake. Cheesecake was okay but seriously the CHOCOLATE BOMB!!
Naomi Bowman: OMG … I can’t even begin to describe the experience I just had!!! This is the best place ever!!!!
Katherine Dubois: Best Italian bakery in the North End.
Cory Comer: The Florentine Cannoli is easily better than their more famous competitor. It’s amazing! Also, try the chocolate bomb and pistachio macaroon.

Sweet Tooth Boston: what do users think?
Robert G. “Southie Bob”: Sorry to say after 16 years here Sweet Tooth is closed for good... moved out!!
Chantha Toeum (Speedy): All their sweets are delicious, especially their oatmeal cranberry cookies. The owners and staff are super friendly and helpful.
Bridget Clark: I cannot say enough about how amazing Sweet Tooth Boston!! Right from the start, I felt like my best interests were at the forefront, and they truly wanted me to get exactly what I needed! Fantastic communication and so much kindness was shown to me and of course the cookies were beautiful and delicious! Highly recommend to all!
Erin Conlan: I LOVE Sweet Tooth! The staff is amazing, Jen & Glen are the kindest, most helpful people I’ve ever met! I get all my sweets from there & all my cakes for special occasions! My Granddaughter lives in Georgia & when she comes to visit her Nana in Southie, it’s a must we go there! The cakes are so rich & moist & the buttercream frosting is to die for! I just ordered my Arden’s birthday cake & I can’t wait to pick it up! Thank you SWEET TOOTH!!
Andrea C: Thank you Sweet Tooth Boston! The cake and the dessert bar made our special day even more special! Everything was delicious! The guests raved about it! Many asked where we got the cakes and desserts from!
Tammi Granese: Very happy with the cake I ordered. the staff was very nice and went above and beyond to be sure I got the cake I wanted.
Dante Vittor: Ordered a custom cake from there and sent reference pictures, they not only made the most beautiful cake, but it was delicious. On top of that, the staff was outstandingly accommodating and genuine, could tell they really cared about their products. The baker even came out and described how proud and happy they were to have made the cake. 10/10 experience and will recommend them to anyone I know who wants any customized baked goods. Thanks again Sweet Tooth!
Leonisa Love Songs: I order a vanilla cake with caramel filling. When we cut the cake the filling was not caramel. It tasted like Brown sugar with butter. I would really advise them if they do not have the type of filling please do not tell your customer yes you can do it. The cake was ok, the decor was nice but the filling was terrible . I was really disappointed.
Amy H.: The best cake shop around. My boyfriend got me a cake from here last year for my birthday and we loved it so much he had me order his cake this year from Sweet Tooth. Everyone who works there is so sweet. Phenomenal customer service and absolutely delicious cakes & beautiful cakes
Nisa Nithin: Everything was perfect! We loved their service. Cake texture was perfect. Only thing We didn’t like was the cream, was too sweet. But we loved the freshness of the cake. Will definitely order again. Thanks!
Alison Kinzie: We love Sweet Tooth! We frequent Sweet Tooth whenever we are planning a special occasion or simply looking for treats to bring to a friend’s house. And so, when we started planning our wedding, having Sweet Tooth do our cake was a no-brainer. The 2-tier wedding cake and 250 cupcakes were absolutely delicious, unique, and stunning / meticulously designed. (Glenn actually used an image of my wedding dress to replicate the lace pattern in the icing, and decorated with flowers from my bouquet!) As a testament to how amazing the dessert was, our wedding planner told us that they were having a tough time getting our guests onto the dance floor as everyone was in the dessert room enjoying cupcakes! Thanks so much to Glenn and the team at Sweet Tooth for making our special day so wonderful!
Arminda B. Cabral: I normally don’t do this but as I’ve been awaiting a phone and 10% refund for 2 1/2 months, I figure it’s time to shine the light on @ sweet tooth bakery. The 1st pic is the cake I ordered from Sweet tooth for my daughter’s college graduation party, pic # 2 is the cake I picked up on Saturday and Pic # 3 is aftermath on Sunday and was left without a cake for the party.I spoke to Dave on 8/13 after I’ve left several messages and emails as of 8/2 he was very dismissive and asked why it took so long for me to call them with issue, had to remind him that no one has responded to my phone call or emails. He also repeatedly kept telling me the pricing of the cake would’ve been different for a “tall cake” as I informed him, money was not the issue but the quality and design. He proceeded to tell me that they are not responsible for the cake after it leaves there facility, again not my issue.I did spent 30mins on the phone initially to ensure the cake would’ve been created as above and Jennifer ensured me it would as you can see from the pic above it was not even close, per Dave they are “unable to reproduce a cake found on google.” The baker should’ve informed me they he was unable to produce such cake but instead he told me that he would be able to make it as such sDave, informed me that Jennifer would call me the following day and issue me a 10% refund and as of yet I have not received a call nor refund.Sweet tooth was one of my favorite bakeries however I am truly disappointed in them and have lost faith in their services!! I hope they’re able provide their staff and bakers with adequate customer service training so others do not go through this experience.
Derek Alos: Stopped in for a couple cookies and walked out with a lot more. Very friendly staff and the sweets were great.
Ps Dy: I got the 😋last lemon square. Unfortunately today was the last day for retail; orders only now. Thanks for my daughter"s beautiful birthday cake on daughters day. 9/25.
Shanjari Fabi: Very rude customer service
Icp: Best place in Boston
T A: Their chocolate cake with coffee filling was so moist and delicious.
shravan kumar: Cookie cheesecake was amazing. And the prices are very reasonable for the desserts. I'd go back again for a sweet treat.
shane smith: The owner has a bad temper and very unapologetic one too. Him and his staff are the worst. Cake was awful..owner was rude..lady at the front is super ghetto...never again..never again
Mabel Hines: Front desk lady is super rude. I dont know how the ownerhired someone of such low class to be the face of customer service at his business.business. Desperation is a real thing i guess. Never will i spend my hard earned $
Tasha P: This bakery made my groom’s cake and it was delicious. Absolutely delicious. It was a chocolate cake with raspberry ganache & coffee fillings. My guests loved it. Not one piece left. Soft, moist, and delectable.

La Sultana Bakery: what do users think?
Joseluis Rodriguez: Colombian pastry shoo . They also offer traditional colombia. Dishes. Try the drink they only sell in the summer salpicon fruit punch filled with fruit very addictive.
Marcela B-K: Los mejores buñuelos y pandequesos!!
Andrew Sanchez: Best bakery in town
Gazza Prescott: Friendly bakery with Colombian foods, my empanadas were great (although I prefer Argentinian ones!) and the pastry was sticky, sweet and delicious! Really good.
Mike Powers: Home made food... great prices... unbelievable sweets ..
Marilyn Palacios: Food is good but some of the ladies working there are NOT POLITE and they are very RUDE. Their long faces tell you that they really hate working there. The store can find nice people who really wants to work and provide good customer service. Is the 3rd time this happens and almost every time they get the orders wrong. They need to work on their stuff is very disappointing to see these women with attitudes.
Madina Su: Very good, pork juicy, just falls off the bone.
Lesli Escobar: I am a local resident of the East Boston community and I always support my local businesses specially my latinos. This is actually one my favorite Colombian bakeries in the neighborhood. One thing I will say is that every time I go into this establishment I feel unwelcome the workers there are very rude especially to the Lgbt+ community which is an extremely uncomfortable experience & very unfortunate because their food is actually good.
Jeb Taylor: I really like this place. One of the best places to get Colombian baked goods. I've been to Colombia many times and la sultana is like taking.a very quick trip back to Medellin
Jonatan Mazo restrepo: Más mala que cualquier otra cosa no han cobrado y ya están pidiendo propina atención regular más bn tirando a mala
Anthony Mercedes: Variety of Colombian foods, delicious 😋
Doris Lin: Great bakery! I don't know what the crispy balls are but they are delicious!
Josué Díaz: Awesome Colombian bakery, especially for those look for something super early
Noe Vsquez: 👌
Kristy Johnson: I wasn’t a big fan of the figs, but the custard was phenomenal, and I will absolutely be heading back for the guava and cheese croissants. And I never would have thought to put caramel in a croissant, but it was just so tasty!!! The coconut was the thing that really brought the guava and the cheese together. Again, I never would’ve thought to put coconut on it but wow that was so delicious.
Fernanda Correa: Pésimo servicio de parte de las q atienden muy malaclases da hasta rabia 😡 entrar
Christopher Cuvellier: Power outlets, steak tacos, bathroom...Much unlike the McDonald's up the road run by Hitler's reincarnation with quarter slots on the bathroom handleAnd the Subway, and the Dunkin... all trash, avoid
Ricardo Diaz: La atención al cliente y los alimentos es más que excelente

Sugar Baking Co.: what do users think?
Alina Worth: Lost my daughter’s custom cake order and when I called to find out what we could do about it, they hung up on me.
Alen Dokmeciyan: Cheap and good coffee! Delicious pastries! - Will be going there many more times.
The Mind Expansion Channel: Pastries are good but expensive. The pistachio cupcakes are $5 a piece, and they taste like pistachios but too sweet. The brambles were okay, not nearly as good as the former Hanlon's bakery that used to operate in this site. I'm a little disappointed.
Sam Velez: The Tarts!!!! Fruit tarts are amazing, they are small but it’s fun to have multiple different flavors and try them all!!!
Stephen Hines: Cutting back on amount of ingredients....disappointed, just spent 17.00 on half moons and lemon squares, much less frosting on moons, less lemon in squares, time to find new place, also moons were turning stale
Erik Owens: Terrific neighborhood bakery, known for their raspberry brambles but also offering excellent cakes, pastries and cookies. Never disappoints.
Oliver: Super cute little shop! Always have the tastiest little treats and the staff is super nice.
Sam kassis: I stop there often their coffee and pastries are excellent parking is kind of tough center street is always busy
Sian Douglas: Delicious cakes, reasonably priced for size of cake, 10/10
Thomas Dittmer: Can't go wrong with this place. Ordered a custom birthday cake for my wife and it came out fantastic and tasted even better. Vanilla sponge with zingy lemon curd and coconut flakes. My personal favorites are the espresso squares, double chocolate cookies, peanut butter cupcakes, and of course... the brambles.
Lana G: If you want a custom cake be prepared to be DISAPPOINTED!! I’ve been getting custom cakes from here since 2017 and after my last experience I WILL NOT BE ORDERING CUSTOM CAKES FROM HERE AGAIN. The cake decorator Maria ignored the request that I had and instead of communicating that it wasn’t going to be how I wanted it, I showed up to pickup the order and it was not what I asked for despite me providing a reference photo and the details of the desired design, in person, over the phone, and via email. Also, i’m annoyed that I paid an ADDITIONAL DESIGN CHARGE FOR A DESIGN THAT WASN’T WHAT I ASKED FOR. It’s just sad that now I have to find a new bakery that will actually listen to what I want
Mary Ellen Gambon: This is my favorite bakery, whether it's for a cup of coffee or their homemade apple pie for the holidays. The pie is so mull of apples you almost need a forklift to take it home and the crust is yummy. The staff is always so pleasant, no how busy it gets. The hardest part is deciding which confection to choose, from the famous brambles to the cookies and pies.
Barbara Barrows: Wonderful baked goods
Peg Harvey: First and last time getting holiday pies from Sugar. Crust seemed store bought and was gummy. Apple filling seemed out of a can, overly sweet, with no real apple flavor. So disappointed, especially for $30 each. Don’t get the pies!!👎🏻
Lauren B: Love this place sm!
Eric Shupin: Whatever baked treat you’re looking for, Sugar has got it! All delicious. Also great for custom orders for pies and cakes.
K laham: What an awesome place. The bday cake for my wife was epic
Ronda Dorson: I would love to go to sugar bakery when we go to West Roxbury we always get their cookies yet to try any of their other pastries wish they would make things without nuts cuz there are quite a few things that I would like to have and unfortunately cannot have them do to my husband having a nut allergy if they made things with no nuts they should place them with a way from things with nuts for people who have not allergy again we love their cookies only thing my husband and I and my son will get our cookies
Brandon Huggon: While I *thoroughly* enjoy pastries from Sugar Baking Co., I have a friend who lives in West Roxbury who is OBSESSED with them - and Sugar saved me from a near "friendship fail" when I *almost* forgot his birthday. Having learned that Sugar offers delivery in West Roxbury, I frantically called to see if they could send a box of treats his way. Even though Sugar typically requires five business days to process the delivery, they were SUPER helpful and accommodated the delivery order I made on short notice. Moreover, they took the time to inscribe a "Happy Birthday" message on one of the treats without being prompted! In addition to offering my high praise and recommendation to Sugar for its decadent desserts, big ups to them for their stellar customer service! Thanks for the flavorful creations, and more importantly, for bailing me out of a jam!
Joseph Lust: My go to for all confections.
Travis Reik: Sugar makes a better carrot cake that Flour, hands down.

Cafe Madeleine: what do users think?
Anna Anna: Recommended by the owner of another outstanding French pastry, Praline. That’s how good it is. Sadly closing tomorrow. Grab anything while you can!
Rachel Whelton: I am writing a review because certain negative reviews almost stopped me from visiting this delightful bakery. I had a positive experience and would definitely go again. My favorite was the Cannele. Next time I would like to try the almond croissant. The shop is clean and cute. I didn't mind waiting in line briefly but I was sad to see the big window into the work area was covered over so no bakery action could be seen. The two girls working the counter were charming and efficient. And my biggest happy surprise was that the coffee (I got a soy latte) was very good! Many nice things going on here but the main reason to visit is the baked items are superb and special. The only down side was no tables whatsoever so I had to go elsewhere to eat.
Anne-Marie: Croissants were delicious, very well made and fresh. However I won’t be rushing to return because of the silly covid theater still going on (plexiglass hanging in front of the cashier, pastry display cordoned off).
Tom Thornton: LeisurelyFood: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Alexandros Diatsintos: Food is exceptional. Service is terrible.
Mariya Denkova: This a very little spot which offers 2 types of croissants and a few very basic types of coffee. And more than 3 people are not allowed to enter at once.
Norman Lam: Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Guillaume Laverdure: Great French pastries!!!
Matias Cordoba: The wait is just not worth it and they can be quite rude if you need a few moments to decide what to order.
Diana Ding: Delicious ham and cheese croissant. A little pricey compared to other places. I waited outside for about ten minutes due to the three-person-in-store limit on a Saturday afternoon. The server was very nice.
odali sanhueza: I am a regular customer as I live on the same street. Today I went to buy macarons and canelé. While the food is great the customer experience was awful. When I entered the store the person behind the counter shouted at me “only 3 customers”. Then when it was my turn she took my order but was very rude. I told to the person who was behind the cashier to tell her colleague to be polite. The other person heard me and said “I don’t care” and when I told her directly: “this is a customer service job you need to be polite” she replied “we sell everything every day so I don’t need to be polite”. I was shocked. I am French, I am used to people being rude but at this level in Boston I was very surprised. To be fair, the canelé and macarons are very good so congrats to the pâtissier and it’s a pity that the service is so rude.
Arthur Tazo: Terribly run place. If you are running out of items well before closing everyday then you are not managing your stock or inventory properly and wasting a lot of people's time.
Sam kassis: Great bakery 5 stars for the pastry but 2 stars for the coffee it was kind of warm instead of hot and heavy. They decently need to work on improving their coffee
Manoj Bs: Not worth the wait in long lines. Only 3 person max inside the store. How are you going to operate on busy weekdays. At least be efficient. Sub par coffee for a French patisserie. You are better off other bakeries by the time you wait in line to grab average crossiants.
Shirley Mao: these pastries are bangin
Jingle Huang: Please don't buy all the caneles that you heard about here.
Rachel Carducci: Used to really love going here, but have had several terrible interactions with Andrew, one of the employees. Most recently my husband ordered a coffee with splash of cream, and what he was given was basically a cup of milk. When my husband asked if Andrew could remake the coffee, with no milk, he replied “no, because he would be giving it away for free”. Andrew has tainted our experience and we won’t be stopping in anymore. Plenty of other great bakeries in the South End, including Render, which is a block away, with much nicer staff.
Georgia Thomas: DELICIOUS PASTRIES!! OMG the pastries are incredible! The cookies & croissants OMG. They can run out later in the morning especially on the weekends, so make sure to get their earlier rather than later. But well worth the price!! I recommend bringing them home to warm them up for a few seconds too!
Leah Klein: Delicious French pastries. We especially love the croissants and canelés.
Will Mercer: Ordered ham and cheese croissant and blueberry muffin, both were ok at best. The croissant was cold and did not even offer to warm them, the muffin lacked flavor and most of it clung to the wrapper.Friendliness and hospitality is not their specialty either. Could not even get a smile or a hello.Very disappointing, would not visit or recommend ever.
Jess Taylor: First the good: their croissants are the best I have ever had in the US. They are absolutely amazing. The problem is that they sell out of them every day before 7:30 AM. Even on weekends, when people don't want to buy pastries before 7:30 AM. For some reason this cafe just refuses to make more. After selling out literally every day, for over 2 years, they still will not bake more. People stand in line each morning patiently waiting for their yummy pastries, only to get into the place and see that all they have left is a few random cookies. It's become a joke among the neighbors - you want an almond croissant tomorrow AM? What time are you getting in line tonight?

Mike's Pastry: what do users think?
Lauren Kelly: Best cannolis in Boston. They are large and not overly sweet. They also have a wide selection of other delectable treats to order and enjoy. This is a place you stop and grab your treats to go… no indoor seating. Plan to wait in line. $5.50 cannolis cash only
Ole Gornik: I had the Florentine Canoli and it tasted like what they must be serving in heaven. I am DEFINITELY gonna get another Canoli there tomorrow!
Gracelyn Foo: Amazing cannolis but deducted one star because the lady who served us was so rude. We were getting the cash out and she repeated herself in a condescending way and proceeds to stare at us throughout the payment process till we left the store.
St.PeteNative: We recently completely a tour of Italy, and never thought cannolis lived up to the hype. The chocolate chip cannoli at Mikes was hands down the best cannoli we have ever had. The boston cream pie was also delicious but seriously stop in to this busy but quick moving bakery
Marta Lazarowicz: Bardzo dobre canollo i duży wybór smaków. O ile nie jesteś bardzo głodny, to polecam jedno na dwie osoby, bo inaczej ciężko podołać.
Sabrina L: There was a lot of hype about this place not to mention seeing a long line . First generation Canadian with Italian /Sicilian roots so I gave it a try . The cannoli we had tasted good and there are many flavours . I was able to tell from the first bite however it’s not made authentically . Lacked the richness, was too light like whipping cream and tasted like icing sugar. The same cream seems to be used for a few different pastries . We found some pastries lacked flavour and we didn’t end up eating them all. The fig cucidatti were soft and chewy . Typically they are made with more of a cookie biscuit base . If you’re wanting something more authentic, I would try a smaller bakery that isn’t making such large batches of their pastries for large crowds.
Keri Dorfeld: Definitely the best cannoli I’ve ever had! Lobster tail was delicious too!
Ben McGuire: Absolutely loved coming here. We came because of the popularity, and I can completely see why. It was packed out, and I imagine it stays like that all day long. I got a Florentine cannoli and it was heavenly. We’d just eaten a big lunch and I struggled to finish eating mine. I recommend coming in between meals if you have the chance. Be aware that they are cash only.
Cheepers _: Absolutely amazing pastries. Boston creme pies and cannolis are to doe for. The lobster claw wasn't my favorite, but the cream inside was delicious. They are cash only, however.
Vicqueline Escalona: The chocolate covered cannoli and chocolate ricotta cannolis are a must try!!!! So delicious, truly some of the best desserts I’ve had in a while. The line looks king but moved fast. Make sure to bring cash!!!! Definitely recommend
Cory Comer: The Florentine Cannoli was AMAZING.
Tim Park: 확실히 달긴하네요, 한번은 먹어봐도 될듯합니다한개 이상먹긴 힘드네요.요즘 빵집들이 상향 표준화되었지요? 큰 기대는 하지마시고 추억 개념으로 드시길
richard meuse: Always great canolli! Cream puff wasn't so great tbh
Felipe Vellozo: The best cannoli I’ve ever tried! Super friendly staff.
A Brady: More cannolis and desserts of the old school than you've ever seen- right in little Italy of Boston.
Rumin Smith: The most amazing cannolis and really big!
manolo Q. L: Excelente...canolis are amazing delicious
Ayzik Kk: Cannoli Cannoli Cannoli
Ryan Wakefield: What a great local treasure.Pistachio flavor is the way to go.
Courtey Winegar: Good prices but the woman that waited on us wasn’t just rude but hostile, slamming around the box and swearing about us under her breath, rolling her eyes, like aggressive. So bizarre when I ordered politely saying please and thank you. When she asked if I wanted powdered sugar I said no thank you and then put sugar on it three separate times, like a mountain of it. I don’t really care about that but it was weird how mean she was, it was such a bummer I didn’t even want to eat the pastry or look at the box. Or ever go to north end again when visiting.
