Karl Stratos: The best part about this place is the convenience. The food comes out freshly prepared fast. You'd have to go through a lot of nonsense to get this level of food if you go to a sit-down restaurant. The sandwich itself is pretty good, but I wouldn't call it the best sandwich of my life or anything like that as some folks seem to be saying (I've had much better). For a small sandwich over 10 bucks, it's not exactly cheap either, but the convenience more than makes up for it.

Brad Takala: This place is fantastic. If I don’t have breakfast at home I order a sandwich for pickup. My go to is The Baller and I order Breakfast Crack when I want to mix it up. The lines outside attest to how good they are. Order ahead!

Everything is hot and fresh and tasty, just don't expect a sit down cafe area with fast service. Place can only handle 3-5 people inside at once, pour your own coffee and get your own juice out of the fridge. More of and go or call ahead.

The food was well made but was just a little under seasoned, but nothing a little salt and pepper couldn't fix. I tried the salmon cakes and grits. The cakes were flavorful and crispy on the outside. The grits were cheesy with a slightly sweet finish, which may be off-putting to some, but I liked it. I did add a little salt though. The dish is served with scrambled eggs, which were fine. The breakfast sausage is good too.The service was fine, they could have been a little more attentive. The restaurant is busy, that's for sure, and there are long wait times, so go early or maybe call ahead. The atmosphere is nice, compact. A little noisy, but you can easily hold a conversation.Street parking only and not much availability.

The menu isn't groundbreaking by any means (pretty standard American fare) but the food is solid and the wait staff is attentive and warm. It can get a little loud since the tables are close together if you're not sitting at a booth, but otherwise it was a good meal and I'd come back. I appreciate their breakfast being served well into the afternoon.

Vincent Cheung: Great for a casual breakfast or a date spot! All of the food coming out smelled amazing so it was hard to decide what to get. We ultimately decided on trying some of their specialties. The shakshuka was very tasty and paired well with the bread. My only critique is that I wish the bread was served on the side instead of in the pan because by the time it got to the table the pillowy bread already got soggy (still very tasty) in the parts submerged in the shakshuka. The Dutch baby had the perfect fluffy texture and paired well with the small mountain of strawberries and whipped ricotta. The service was nice and quick so no complaint there. My advice would be to get there on the earlier side because when we got seated around 10:30 we didn’t have to wait but by the time we left there was a 30-45 min wait.

Sarrah Marcotte: This is a sweet spot, classic brunch spot. Great brunch and great drinks. I love taking people here because its such a fun environment and they have reasonable prices. VW: Waited almost 2 hours and finished in 30 minutes since it is so loud in store (be careful yelp user, even if you stay in line online, you still need to check-in in person in order to be on the “Real” line.)Not the worse but not the best… Hot Chocolate however is SOOO watery and bad, they are basically selling Swiss miss for $6…. Tatte has wayyyy better hot cocoa with real melted style chocolate.No substitutions, you will be charge extra for home fries replacement (didn’t notice until bill come). Won’t be coming again since most of the items can be made at home, and it’s just not worth the wait on a nice Sunday.

I was eagerly awaiting breakfast, to be served a greasy, disgusting breakfast burrito. I couldn’t even hold the burrito as the grease poured from it all over my clothes. Sit outside when you can, because the views are amazing. Also, the bathrooms are fairly clean, which I appreciate. Take out is also very quick, I've observed.The food dishes are HUGE by the way. The picture attached is the Avocado Triple Deck (and the Goudapest in back which I believe is the most popular dish) and it was delicious and healthy. I look forward to coming back here :)

But it's a new restaurant I'll give it a chance, somehow after many many years this place is still on Newbury Street, and it's still as bad as my first experience. The new space isn’t very diner like but it is still a nice place to grab a quick breakfast. Standard food and pricing. Coffee was hot and the two female servers were awesome, friendly, and quick.

John Meuse: You guys kill it every time. Always great portions and flavor. Most of the pizza shops in the area all have the same style and taste but Jim's does it the way it's supposed to be done . You guys are a service the community for what you do. I've personally seen Jim make a fat plate of food for a lovely elderly woman on the house just to get a smile .Keep doing what you're doing!Update 4/28/23: I was pretty surprised that I ordered a plate that was listed as $19 and was charged $24 at the register. I brought up the discrepancy and was basically laughed at when I said I shouldn't have to pay the difference. I was told that they didn't update the menu to reflect the correct pricing yet. If I only have $20 on me and I'm expecting to buy a to go meal that is listed as $19 I shouldn't be turned away. Thankfully one of the cooks intervened and corrected the issue.I will not change my five star review. I love this place. Just not the big tall rude dude with the baseball hat at check out that laughed at the situation.

However the the service is a joke I have never been rushed to pay my bill with a waitress hovering over me demanding if I was using a credit card or debt. Priscilla Ababio: I was not impressed at all. My French toast was very eggy and did not even look appealing. The server I can’t even find words for she would place drinks,utensils and syrup at the corner of the table this caused me to have to reach over the table multiple times to grab things. The only plus side was my girlfriend enjoyed her bagel and pancakes.

This was my first time at their newer location since I moved to another city.Before you judge my answer as a bad time it was not in the least. To clarify it was Sunday morning before the St Patrick's Parade a few blocks away yesterday(3/19/2023). Keep that in mind.We got there about 15 minutes before 11. There was a massive crowd seated. Many people were waiting for food. Pretty much half of the tables had food and were eating and only like two were waiting to pay or leave after paying. So we knew there would be a wait. We put our names down for a table for four and sat in there extra chairs set aside for waiting.People were waiting all around us. Some waiting for takeout and other's to sit. Roughly 3 to 4 tables were before us. We finally got to sit around 11:20. We ordered and we waited. Food was coming out so fast. Table after table got their food. Ours took a little bit since we ordered after everyone else but we were fine with that knowing full well how busy a regular Sunday is here let alone when a massive influx of people coming in for a parade want breakfast before it.Our food came and it was awesome. I got the linguica egg and cheese on a grilled bulkie roll and home fries which was great. Bulkie roll was grilled perfectly and the egg was fried just right.My niece got a breakfast burrito with ham eggs and cheese. The burrito was pretty big and the eggs were scrambled extremely fluffy. I would have to guess they used about 4 to 5 eggs. It was big. She enjoyed it and her very crispy (how she ordered them).My girlfriend and my brother both ordered a 'My Favorite'. Carved ham egg and cheese on a grilled bulkie. They both loved their sandwiches and home fries.My brother ordered a side of the turkey hash. We shared it. Everyone was happy with it.All in all a great time and very worth the wait.if anyone from My Diner sees this, great hustle by all the servers, the buslady, and the kitchen staff. We saw you all working hard and fast. Thank you.Kid-friendliness: It's a typical diner breakfast place. Very family friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: If you park in front or the back there's multiple points of access. The back entrance is actually downstairs. There's an elevator to get to the main floor. They can definitely accommodate a wheelchair at plenty of their tables.

I was told I was going to be seated at the counter and I had to wait. So from now on I am a party of 3. Took a while to get my food. I don’t think I will be back
