Inna's Kitchen - Boston Public Market: what do users think?
lily may: We visited Boston Public Market this past Saturday. We stopped at it Inna’s Kitchen and there was nobody behind the counter. We waited and finally, somebody from another vendor came over and rang up our order. When we got home, we looked at our receipt and noticed that we were charged twice for something that we only bought one of. We called the phone number on the receipt twice, left two messages regarding the overcharge, and nobody has responded. Honestly, I’m not surprised. I shouldn’t expect a response from people who can’t even bother to be present during the market. Also, their items are way overpriced.
Robert Jerdan: Breakfast is awesome Egg over Latkes. Or any of the items.
Tech This Way: Good and hearty
AVI RAHAMIM: חניה יקרה בלי פרופורציה וגזל הציבור
Adam Palmer: DINNER REVIEWInna's had been on my list for a while since it served traditional Jewish food in an artisanal food space (the Boston Public Market). I had heard you have to get the shakalatkes (shakshuka plus latkes, a very enticing concept) so I, of course, ordered those plus a falafel pita. Service was quick and we sat down with our food pretty quickly. The falafel pita was good, the falafel tasted fresh, as did the toppings. I would get that one again. However, the shakalatkes were a little disappointing. I felt like the shakshuka took over the whole thing and it was just the sauce overpowering the soggy patties of potatoes. I think a larger and crispier latke would have provided a better overall eating experience.I would come back for the falafel, not for the shakalatkes
Kellie Burton: Our friends took us here when we asked if they wanted to get brunch. You can get breakfast and you can get lunch. I say it counts. I went with the challah French toast and a side of the pastrami hash. Both were absolutely phenomenal! Three pieces of toast so I out one in the middle of the table as "community toast"
Simone Cameron: Ok. Difficult to find.
Avi Ben-Avraham: EXCELLENT food AND service. If you’d like to taste few of the most popular Israeli and Jewish kitchen dishes - this is certainly the place.Located inside the market. You’d better know they also offer gluten free options so what else can one ask for? Will come again (and again... and again!) 👏👏👏
lily lulu: Just would like to mention that Shakshouka, falafel and shawarma are not part of the Jewish cuisine. The 1st one from North Africa and the rest from countries in the Middle East.Do you have something typical in the Jewish cuisine?
Rachel Lertzman: I’m visiting Boston today and I’m starting to feel under the weather. I’m Jewish, so naturally I start craving some chicken soup to make me feel better. I was wandering around the Boston Public Market and was delighted to find Inna’s. Just what I wanted!! I just finished my cup of chicken noodle soup, and let me tell you, it could have been my grandmas. They really know how to make some good soup so if you’re ever feeling sick, stop by Inna’s!
Mattias Olmarker: Had the Shakshuka, it was really tasty. And the spicy green sauce was amazing. Nice place I would come back again👍
slava s: Good food, generous portions. Family of seven eats for about $100.
Shifra Goldberger: Misleading. No kosher certification.
Amir Mamdani: Great spot for a quick lunch- awesome customer service!
Cassie Shamey: To be fair, I only had the spinach & feta knish, but it was just average taste for the price.
James Kinder: Delicious new eating experience. Had the Mushroom, feta and spinach omelet on a pita. Fast and friendly service too!
Taylor Stockton: Overheard an employee speaking badly about a previous customer and complaining that he dropped a small amount of change in the tip jar.
Adam Kalai: Delicious takeout Jewish food
Alina Bear: It's good. But not impressive.
Paul Freedman: I love the food at Inna’s. They have a great selection of soups and also have a great selection of middle eastern entreees. My favorite is the chicken shawarma. Everything is fresh and only top quality ingredients are used.
Samantha Jokela: My falafel was burnt and the latkes were soggy and greasy.

The Friendly Toast Restaurant: what do users think?
Alicia Jimenez: I had breakfast and it was good, but please dont let that fool you. I knew a few employees who worked there and they told me most of their facilities are infested with cockroaches and mice. This is disgusting, I wish I would have known that before eating here. It disgusts me everytime I think about it. Uuuuggghhh🤢

MrEgzekutor098: Bardzo dobre śniadania, napewno warto zaglądnąć lecz trzeba się przygotować że trzeba poczekać na wolny stolik.
Ralph Aguilera: The first thing they tell us is the wait is an hour and a half - that’s totally worth waiting for.The hospitality of the place is really off the charts. The food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was loud, but inviting. Shane was our waiter. He was the best. Great vibe and in a great spot if you’re visiting Boston.
Kenny Fuller: Super cool restaurant! Everyone is extremely friendly and down to earth. Food is to die for and I would definitely recommend the Carmel macchiato pancakes. They also have a fantastic drink menu.
Julie: Shoutout to Kye at the Boston location. She is one of the most personable and caring waitresses I’ve run into. She was obviously very busy but took extra time to chat with us and make us feel welcome. The banana pancakes and New Hampshire scramble were excellent! We were told there might be a 25 minute wait on a Thursday morning but it ended up being shorter than that.Parking: Less than a block from the garage at 100 Clarendon St.
JJ KANG: The service and food were both amazing ! Even though we usually don’t like waiting in line, I understand why people are queue up to eat here. In fact, it was worth the wait!
Jahmira Clarke: I ordered 2 eggs any style with bacon , home fries & toast and it was good in taste , not big in portion size .

Courtney Boseck: Had a great brunch at Stephanie’s today! Our server Izzy was incredibly kind and accommodating and the food was amazing!!!
Andy Chau: Worst experience ever. The host is very racist and unprofessional. If you are white you will be ok. If you looks like you any other race the host will give you a table next to the bathroom or tell you to F off.

Mary Grace: A friend and I sat at the bar today for lunch. Took about 5 minutes to be acknowledged even though only a few other people at bar. Staff talking amongst themselves. Lot of prep work going on. Appetizer and entrees arrived together, had to ask for place settings . No check in to see how food was. No return for additional cocktail. Had to flag bartender down for check and then again to process card. A $100 lunch with that service. Never again. I’ve been going to Stephanie’s over 20 years. It used to be a high end place. No more!
Valentina Martir: Maura was great service first time here and it’s was amazing experienceFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Rachel Walsh: The best cheeseburger on Newbury St. by a longshot. I've had it twice and it is excellent. Like all places in the area, the music is a little too loud.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Anastasia Konovalenko: Absolutely terrible service. Refused to accept my ID (when I’m way older than 30), on the grounds that it’s from out of state even when I offered a copy of my passport - the original was in the hotel. Entire time I was there, the waitress did not ask anyone else for ID. Ater, I sat waiting for an order and nobody came upNobody else my age or younger was asked for that. It was a terrible situation to be in, given my age. I left because I would rather give my money to a different restaurant. I would avoid this place in the future.
Attilio Lospinoso: A nice place that was serving brunch, close to the Boston finish line. They had a nice outside sitting area, and our waitress was very attentive and friendly. I had the pancakes and an order of home fries. The food was all good, and they serve in big portions! Also the other food my friends bought looked really good!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5 …More

Rania Jazairi: The hostess was not friendly. The fried calamari was made of mostly fried jalapeños and the salad had almost no sauce at all . They have a weird system for credit cards if yours has a pin then the machine wouldn’t take the card !Surreal! Not recommended

Sonsie: what do users think?
Oliver Stewart: Came here with my brother for his Birthday dinner, this place would also make a great location for a romantic date. The service was great and the food even better. We had the Pork Belly Bao, Shitaki Mushroom Gyoza, Salmon and the Chocolate bread and butter pudding. The Gyoza and the pudding were the standouts to me but all of it was delicious.I washed my dinner down with one of the better espresso martinis I've had at a restaurant. The only real downside was we were sat near the entrance so whenever someone came in we got treated to a cold blast of air.8/10 would gladly return
James “Jamie” Kuesel: The food and atmosphere were very good. The salmon I got was fantastic. However, it was very overpriced, especially for what you got. The salmon was basically just a maybe 6-10oz salmon, a few vegetables in a broth thrown by its side. For $36 dollars that just isn't worth it. Should be $22 tops. The dish should really come with some carb. Maybe some rice, potatoes, or even just some bread to fill you up. Could push it to maybe worth $25-28. The pizzas seemed fairly priced but many other dishes seemed overpriced as well.Unless the dishes are changed, via either adding more to them or reducing their price, I will not be coming back. Otherwise good.
Deven Barbero: Dawn and Ava were both great, have been back multiple times due to their service. Food and drinks were both phenomenal but they really have made the experience
Zeynep Beliz Oktay: I went there multiple times for brunch. Most plates are very delicious and good in portion. But I did not like their avocado toast style, too much tomato sauce.Anyway, I d bring anyone visiting Boston to this place for brunch, very safe decision!Edit April 2023: Apprently they changed the avocado toast, it looks like a more common and delicious combination of ingredients. Also adding photos of the croque monsieur and blueberry gem salad that we had this time, they were all great.
Grace Gong: amazing, and especially cute with the outdoor/indoor seating. peach burrata app was our favorite. The pizzas were great too. I got the prosciutto one! Highly recommend 11/10Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Food took forever, never came to us and then our waiter just pretended he was listening to us and never came back. How gross. Awful moment ever in Boston.
Esther Moon: I really wanted to like this place as Sonsie has been on my Boston bucket list for quite a while. But I don't think I'll be coming back (maybe for Brunch, as it seems more popular?)We went as a party of 8 for dinner on a Friday, and we ordered the pizza, burger, croquettes, chicken, pasta dishes and they were all okay. The croquettes had the texture of glue and didn't go down well at all. Pizza and burger was very average, not sure why it's so expensive. However the service was the most frustrating part. It took forever for us to get drinks, and our main dishes came out even before our appetizers. One of our appetizers did not even make it out so we canceled it. Our server was very nice, but it just seems like there weren't any steps of service in place.Dessert was the best part! Cheesecake and bread pudding really hit the spot!
Shane Buddemeyer: I have been here several times and its my favorite place to come to in Boston, Ava is the best waitress very personable and always attentive. The mixologist Al I believe his name is, will make drinks not on the menu to your preference and they don't disappoint. Dawn the manager will do everything to make sure your time there an experience to remember. Love coming here!
Rachel Walsh: Hadn't stopped in since they renovated so decided to go for a drink on Saturday afternoon around 5pm. It was pretty busy but not crazy. We were able to get 2 seats at the bar. It took the bartender 11 MINUTES to take our drink order. There were 2 bartenders on, plus support staff. Not acceptable. It isn't like we were squeezing in trying to get someone's attention, we were seated at the bar. Need more training.
Anne Nealon-White: We had dinner at Sonsie last night and every aspect was fantastic. The atmosphere is beautiful with art covering the walls and upbeat music. I cannot say a single bad thing about the food and cocktails. Our steak and scallops were absolutely delicious and the oysters were fresh. Our waiter was attentive and engaging. It was an, overall, perfect dinner. Try the Smokeshow cocktail.
Winnie Zhang: Had higher expectations since this place is on Newbury, but everything was mid, honestly. The service was fine and it’s not like the food was nasty, but it just wasn’t seasoned enough. The oysters were fun to eat.
Kasey Lumbente: I had a wonderful time at sonsie!! The food was great, but the service wasimpeccable. I had a wonderful server named Nova who guided me through the menu and wine pairings with ease. The scallops were top notch and you have to make sure to leave room for dessert - their bread budding is fantastic. Thank you, Nova for the great experience and I can’t wait to come back.
Diana Karina Blandon Silva: Service it’s ok but 50 minutes when there where only 7 tables in use for a burger and a salad that is way too much
Sharmila Bhatia: Sonsie has a vibrant ambience But I had a terrible experience with service. I was disappointed that there were too few options for breakfast & only a sweet option for someone who cannot eat bacon (the person with me) I ordered a sausage patty muffin & mine was served without the patty. When I informed my server, he insisted the grilled tomato slice was the sausage! I had a couple of bites & then opened the muffin & called him & showed it to him again emphatically telling him there wasn’t any sausage in the muffin - that’s when he took it away & replaced it. He also got out tea order wrong & then just said there wasn’t any English breakfast tea - clearly he didn’t like being called out or asked questions. I’m visiting the city & my first time at Sonsie. I Don’t expect this service & then be forced to leave a gratuity for this experience.
Lucas Lavallee: Food was great. Price is high. Service was pretty good.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Nikoloz Gogilidze: I would have rated this place 5 but unfortunately I tried their whisky sour. Excellent atmosphere, excellent service and great live music. But worst whisky sour ever. And the hot lobster roll, sweet potato waffle skillet, and the greens with pomengranite vinigraitte, all worth the wait. Perfect taste, texture, and complimentary to the outstanding beer and spirits offered. Definitely be back.

Yorleny Posada: This place is great! Catherine at the bar is the best, she was really nice and helpful, made suggestions on the menu and recommend us seasonal cocktails. We love it, great service and drinks, good music, nice environment. Definitely going back!

Twitchy: Good place for late night food in downtown Boston. Arriving on a late flight into Boston, there's not a lot of full service restaurant options in the downtown area after 9 pm. At Bostonia Public House we had the hot lobster roll, pasta vongole and fish & chips. The food and service were very good. As an fyi, it does get pretty noisy once the live entertainment starts.
