Old Town Trolley Tours of Boston: what do users think?
Elliott Connor: The tour was was a good glimpse into Boston, there is just so much to see! The drivers will make or break your experience. Yesterday our driver was awesome! Had three different drivers today, the first one was not very good, sounded like he was reading a script, the last two were pretty good
Becky Moore: Had a great time seeing all the sights in Boston
Brent Langrehr: Got more out of this than I thought I would. There was a plethora of information about Boston on the tour that allowed us to make decisions on sights to see while we were vacationing.I ended up buying several more days for the trolley since there was so much to see and hear about. Would definitely do this again next time I’m in Boston.
Darci: It was mine and my husband’s first time in Boston, we were there on a quick trip. Day two of our trip we decided to do the Old Town Trolly Tour. It was nothing short of amazing. Our conductor was Crafty. Crafty was so wonderful. He was very knowledgeable on the history of Boston, and very witty. He made the tour interactive with asking us questions about all sorts of historical facts. We are definitely going to go back to Boston for a longer trip and if it is at all possible we will do the tour again with Crafty! And if anyone in the city is reading this review….. Crafty should be the next person to recite the Declaration of Independence, you know since his ancestor Col. Thomas Crafts was the first person to read it from the Boston State House balcony! Just my two cents :)
S. C.: Not enough busses for the number of tix sold. When you call for a refund they transfer you to voicemail. 3 stars since the drivers are great.
Susanne Heaton: This tour was an incredible way to see Boston. There is so much history to take in and this was such a great way to learn.Nick who sold us our tickets also gave us excellent tips on places to eat to get the best Seafood Chowder (Boston Sail Loft) as well as suggestions for great Italian restaurants. All the tour guides were incredible, but Miss Jackson was over the top amazing. She made the educational information very entertaining and memorable. Her ability to navigate the trolley through rush hour and have us all laughing with various songs and stories was amazing. Best way to see Boston. Highly, highly recommend this tour.
Jose Rodriguez: Very good historical
john hasiak: Great way to see all the sights of Boston.
Christopher Rocco: It was a fun way to see Boston on a day trip. No pressure easy on and off stops.
Treesa Black: Worst Boston experience ever! We waited in the freezing cold for 45 minutes because they kept promising there would be room on the next trolley but they kept showing up full. Two different parties waiting ended up taking Ubers because it was so ridiculous. We couldn’t afford it because we already spent our money on 4 two day passes. They hold trolleys at stop number 1 so they are going at regular increments and we had to wait there for 30 minutes as well. Move the freakin trolleys people! Adjust to accommodate for the concentration of people. Instead of seeing Boston, we sat at trolley stations for over an hour and a half and we only got off on 2 stops. Hop on and hop off was an absolute joke. Once we got back on, nobody in our party wanted to get off because we would have to wait another 30-45 minutes in the cold to get back on. I called their dispatch to let them know what was happening and they assured me the next bus would have room. It did not. She also told me they can’t run them more than every 15 minutes because they need to have them spaced out. She also said she was sorry because when they sell the tickets, they don’t guarantee that there will be room on the trolley. Wish we could have seen more but next time I’ll just Uber. (Side note one of our drivers was very funny, not the drivers fault).
A Nabs: Good route through downtown Boston with multiple convenient stops, and the driver commentary was excellent. We had a great guy named Murph, who was funny and informative. We bought electronic tickets online ahead of time and it worked really well.
Wayne Guilliams: Friendly, easily accessible and the drivers know Boston. Highly recommend this trolley for getting to know and around Boston.
Denise Reid: Horrible experience. Wait time was 40-60 minutes for the trolly. At one point we waited 51 minutes for the trolly, got on and went to the next stop and told to transfer to a different trolly and had to wait 20 additional minutes for it to depart. In addition, the driver was rude to an elderly man. Horrible experience. Very different than the one we had with this company in other cities.Edited to add that the company did give me a complete refund.
Jennifer and Jeremy Terry: Wanted to see the city on limited time. It was nice to learn about all the history.
Candice Calderon: Would recommend! Foxtrot driver was amazing. He was funny, knowledgeable, and kept us entertained all while letting is get to know Boston. Would recommend.
Jackie Batson: The stops are not accurately shown on the map and are poorly marked (sometimes nothing more than a piece of orange and blue tape on a pole). We waited over an hour for a trolley in the seaport area and one only arrived after we called. And the trolleys are sometimes full and you have to wait 15-30 minutes for another one. And worst of all they don’t have an app that indicates the location of a trolley and ETA at a stop
Megan de los Santos: This is THE WAY to see Boston! Our tour guide, J, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, she was an amazing guide through the city. We loved being able to hop on and off the trolley whenever we wanted and it was a great way to travel without having to walk everywhere. We learned a lot about Boston and the history of the city, the architecture, and the people there. 1000/10 would recommend!
Monica Missall Ash: I always start a trip to a new city with a city bus/trolley tour and this one was great. The tour guides were entertaining & knowledgeable. The route allowed me to orientate myself with the city for when we began touring on foot. Note, the guides make all of the difference…make sure to get a good one.
Fenceguy: Krafty is the smahtest, funniest, and most gahjus touah drivah in all a Baston brotha!
Amelia Staub: We loved this trolley tour. We did it on our first day in Boston and it was a great way to get acclimated to the city and learn our way around. They stopped at all the major spots in Boston and we were able to easily hop on and off to explore. Certainly a highlight of our trip!
Russ Matuszek: I took this tour and had Murph as a driver-guide. He did an excellent job covering the history of Boston as well as today's happenings. It was an unusual 65 degree day in mid February, so half of the clear curtains were rolled up for an open air experience. Highly recommended!

GRAY LINE BOSTON & CAPE COD: what do users think?
M. Alueta: Just researching for possible layover over 4 hours in Boston. Wanted to leave airport for a few hours
Mila Veselskaya: Our fly was delayed for 6 hours. We came to hotel at 5am. So we realised we will not able to take our 9am tour at which we booked and paid $150 for two people. And I was so surprised when company called at 10am and gave a chance to use our missed reservation for another tour. So we were going for 2 hours tour + cruise. The trip was a very nice. The driver was so proffesional and told too many interesting things about history of Boston. Thank you.
Amanda Decker: Great tour!
Joey Williams: My 71 year old mother and I have been on several trips and always take a tour of that city. This year was no exception. Sam (aka Sam I Am) was hands down the best tour guide and very knowledgable of this great historic City of Boston. I hope he is our tour guide on Saturday to SalemThanks Sam.... ♡ your Okie friends Dr J and Momma
Penny McGhee: 2 tours. One was great the other mediocre. You better stay perfectly on time or they will leave you.
S H: Had such a great Boston tour with Sam! If you have one day to spend in Boston, I greatly recommend this tour!
Monica Hooser: Sam, I am is a very entertaining and knowledgeable tour guide. Even though the tour started out with some audio difficulties, Sam did not cut out any stops on the tour. He was wiling to extend the time to get everything in. We thoroughly enjoyed his sense of humor, and would highly recommend him.
Janet Ruffin: Sam I Am was fantastic!!
Donna Murawski: Greatest GuideReview of Boston Urban AdventuresReviewed 1 week agoWe took a tour on 8/3/19 and it was amazing. Our Guide Sam I am is Excellent at his job. He was so knowledgeable I was alitte embarrassed because I lived in the USA my whole life. But Sam knew much more. I asked him if he was a teacher of history. We toured Lexington,Cambridge,Concord,And Orchard House where little woman was written. Great time Thank you Sam I am.Happy 57th Birthday SamMark and Donna MurawskiMilwaukee Wisconsin
Bob Frank: One word. Fantastic. Best coach driver Sam I Am. Great humour. Terrific jokes and great history knowledge of BOSTON. Enjoyed our day.
Sandra Smith: Good Tour
Gemma Sze: It was a terrible experience. Went into the 435 High Street Office on 5th July and bought the tickets for 2 to Total Experience Cam/Lex/Con/Boston on 7th July but ended up the Office Manager Debbie Ovellette forgot entering my details into the system. She was lying and saying that I was on the waitlist but her staff told me that it was not true because in the morning of 5th July, there were a plenty of spaces available.
Julie Bottom: Outstanding tour of Boston, Cambridge, Lexington, and Concord today with Sam Chalhoub as our guide and driver. Sam’s wealth of knowledge is unbelievable, and his enthusiasm is uplifting and contagious!! We especially loved our tour of the Louisa May Alcott home which is included in the tour. Overall this tour is great value for a full day tour of the highlights of this historic area.
Jakub Wozniak: We had the pleasure of going on a "private tour" with Sam I Am (aka George Clooney). He took us around Boston seeing many wonderful things and he was extremely kind and knowledgeable about the different historical sites. We even got the okay to go and drive around Harvard and see the campus which was great. We were let off at a couple of historical sites to walk around and take pictures, these were the U.S.S Constitution and Copley Square (usually you get let off at Fenway as well but we were there the previous day so we went to view Harvard). Overall the tour was very fun, took around 3 hours, great value for the money and was well worth the time. Highly recommend going out with this company to tour the wonderful city which is Boston.
Lin Dryer: May 2019 My husband and I explored Boston for a few days before going on a cruiseship. Our first time to Boston and we wanted to get a sense of it since relatives had lived there. As Canadians we knew a little of American history but it really came alive with "Sam the Man" driver/tour guide. A wonderful 7 hour trip that amazed us with its content because of Sam's vast knowledge of both the countryside and Boston itself (Lexington, MIT, Harvard, Paul Revere's route/life, the battle of the 77 Minuteman, the Old North Bridge where the 1st battle of the American Revolution was held, Quincy Market (yummy lunch), USS Constitution Tall Ship, sightings of the Cheers TV bar front, home of the author of Little Women etc etc). Sam is very humorous. A worldly guy with lots of patience for the group... allowing us tons of questions as well as his comments as he drives with headphones. This guy IS the BOSTON tour! Incredible memory and energy. Gave lots of time for getting out at the sights and for breaks and lunch. At the end of the tour he very kindly got us all as close as he could to our hotels which was NOT his job! I unfortunately dropped my camera on the bus - and the Gray lines staffer Debbie and Sam ensured it was there the next am for pickup by us before our cruise. What a wonderful time incredible value for the money. Linda and Jim Ottawa, Canada
Julia Roark: Such a great tour! A very nice bus and driver took us on a wonderful drive through the city and then out of the city toward Cape Cod. Our driver was very knowledgeable about where we were and what we were seeing. A Harbor Tour was included which included seeing Hyannis where the Kennedy family compound is. There was a stop in the small town of Sandwich that included a glass blowing exhibit and of course a chance to buy authentic Sandwich Glass. A stop in Cape Cod for a bite to eat and a look around for souvenirs, then back to Boston. All in all, a wonderful day!
Tammy Geister: We had a wonderful time on our day trip. If it wasn't for Sam I am we would not have been able to see all that we did. Sam has so much passion for his job he made our day fantastic. Thank you Sam, your friends from Wisconsin.
Peter Whitty: Travelled with Grayline to Cape Cod and witnessed the spectacular scenery and autumnal colours. As a bonus for good behaviour we returned via Plymouth and what a pleasant surprise !!The coach driver/courier Sam Iam was a brilliant guide and raconteur, which made the day more memorable. He entertained us throughout the day with his wit and good humour.
Steve Traylor, home inspector: Sam I am was the best tour guide ever!
Martha Baker: Sam I Am was the Best! The Cape Cod trip by bus & boat was so good, happy that I did this!So worth the money!I left two packages on the bus w/o realizing it until Debbie called to say they were left behind. My packages were delivered to my hotel the following day as I was unable to find their office. I was leaving early the next morning so time was of essence.Sam puts in a very long day everyday because he loves his job. Spoke often of his wife as a happily married man, which was heartfelt & I liked. He was knowledgeable in history & trivia, which I was happy to learn.I am not a tour bus person, but this tour totally changed that. I will return to Boston and do more, just hope I can get Sam I Am as my guide! Thank you All, for being the Best!

Boston Tours by Old Town Trolley: what do users think?
Mary Carolan Kenny: Great service
Jim Lemaster: Good way to get around
Stuart Murray: Would defo recommended the trolley tour. Great way to see whole of downtown. Guide was very knowledgeable. Also got 50% off the harbour cruise with the trolley ticket.
Shari Mangels: Miss Jackson was wonderful! We learned a lot in a fun way. She's also an amazing driver!
Miranda Quezada: JD was very informative. He knows his facts and keeps it interesting with some humor thrown in. Trolley wasn't packed at any point. With it being more of an off-season time some of the stops weren't open or closing early. Arrive early to get the most of the hop-on hop-off.
Alex Cantona: Lovely
Paul Monnette: Had a 5 star experience several months ago. Today not so much. Waited 20 minutes in the freezing cold for a trolley only to find it full. We were told 20 minutes for the next one which is also late & then harassed by what I assume is a homeless person with a foul mouth.
Eliseo Robles: Avoid if it’s rainy - can’t see anything with their DIY cheap windows
Molly Theobald: Very happy with the Trolly tour of Boston. They always had multiple buses ready to start the tour. The drivers are very friendly and were so knowledgeable. We loved they had a storage area for our stroller so we didn’t need to keep bringing it on and off
Stewart Ramsey: Only had 1/2 a day to learn about Boston! Pretty epic. Great drivers with some great jokes.
J. Money: The tours are like a fun history lesson lol
B Hoef: This should have been a five-star rating, based on the ride itself. However, we had to wait over 2 hours in line, for the company to bring enough buses to handle the crowd from the cruise ship that we were on. Did they not know we were coming? We have been on numerous Old Town trolley tours in other towns, including savannah, key west, and many times in St Augustine. They typically do a fantastic job.I would not recommend that you base your decision on our negative experience in one port, unless you're arriving on a cruise ship. 😎
Jyoti Daniel: They are a great way to see the city of Boston. Only downside was they are not as frequent as they promise.
Scott Rakestraw: We booked two days and abandoned the experience after a few hours. The wait for stop 1 indicated they oversold the trolley, which meant you waited in line and did not want to get off at stops for fear you would not get a seat when you got back on.Our drive narration did not resonate with us. When no one is laughing at your jokes, it is most likely your jokes, not the crowd. What was disappointing was the driver encouraging the trolley riders to give drivers the bird if they were impatient with the trolley.
z Gardner: What they dont tell you is that if theres no room on the trolly, tuff luck. They come by every 15 mins but will leave you stranded if they are full.
Clare McGuinness: Lots of information and the drivers were really friendly.
Grayson Jaynes: Fun and easy
Andrea: Es war wirklich eine tolle Tour, alle Fahrer waren sehr gut ohne übertrieben witzig zu sein.
Bucky Garcia: Un viaje que resume Boston
Richard Shine: Stay off if you're smart!
Melanie Schelling: Tour guides were informative and engaging. However the tour company oversold the bus tickets to cruise ship excursions. We were not able to hop off at all as every stop had several people waiting and the buses were already full. At one stop, the line of people waiting said we were already the 4th bus that stopped that was full.

City View Trolley Tours: what do users think?
Shea Haney: Tour guides are friendly and knowledgeable! We used Go City Boston for tickets and were pleased to learn there was a trolly stop near many of the attractions we were planning to visit. An excellent way to see the city and what it has to offer.
Donna Metzger: We had a great time! Our driver Joey was great! Gave us great suggestions for restaurants and things to do during our visit. He was very informative during the tour and made it very fun!
Chuck Barackman: Great time
Jack H: They're fun, affordable, comfortable, enlightening, entertaining, and informative.
Victoria Canzaniello: The first driver seemed drunk or on something; which he mentioned his Boston accent for being the reason for us not understanding his tour information and understanding him. As soon as we got on the bus we wanted to get off. He was talked about unnecessary information and was more about celebrities being in the area than the actual historical context of his job. This made a quick exit for me and my family to find an amazing piece of history but as a family of history buffs and to be let loose in such an historical place to be swindled by a tour guide is very upsetting and when first approached by the sweet old man claiming to give us a discount but he never did. We are from New York and a discount means a discount. We should have known that we would have been ripped off. They give false information about the history of the world/state
liana Baez: The tour guide was great. She was born and raise in Boston and was able to provide a lot of interesting info bits. Their trollies are comfortable and have heaters specially helpful on those blistering cold days.
Michelle Nichols: Joey was the best trolley tour guide. He gave us history and fun facts while keeping us laughing. It was a fun experience that my family enjoyed. He even happened to have a souvenir football for us Phillies fans!
M Yeager: Best way to get a quick tour of Boston. The driver's are funny and knowledgeable!
Nathan Barney: At your own pace! Gives ya a break between sightseeing. Turned out to be well worth it! And Joey is a blast!
Christine Lipscomb: We really enjoyed both of our drivers and their commentary. So worth it
Gustavo Rodrigues: Congrats!!!
Hiago Yuri: very good tour, the driver Jhony Boston an excellent professional, very attentive and fun made the tour even better, I highly recommend
Kesia Ferreira: My husband's family was in Boston and we decided to take them on a tour of the city. Johnny Boston was our driver twice and he is amazing and very funny. Everyone loved the experience. Thanks guys 😍
Sara Kemmer: Joey was hilarious!!! Full of funny stories and great knowledge about the city
Sandra Bennett: I don't like leaving bad reviews but I think I need to warn anyone using City View Trolly Tours. We purchased our tickets at the kiosk at stop #1. I don't remember the man's name. He swiped my card twice saying he hit the wrong number. He did give us a receipt that had declined on it but both were charged on my credit card. Be careful and check your account if this happens to you.
Kelly Vis: The trolley was fantastic. Tons of historical knowledge and super fun people!
Robert McCoy: Asked for directions from City View Tours booth in Boston and the employee saw we had another companies map and told us “ no Fu€¥ing help because you have another tour company map”.What a way to impress tourist to remember your companies name.We weren’t the only one treated like this by this same employee. This guy needs a class on how to deal with the public.
Colleen Kelly: I loved our first guide. He had a great sense of humor and told history with flare. We had to wait over 30 minutes for the trolley twice out of the only 3 stops we actually got on. One guide was monotone and boring.
Anthony Caruso: Boring
Peter Lau: Ticket cost is $66.15 when you are at the kiosk of the old town trolley tours.Tour is 1 1/2 hour, lots of information.

Old Town Trolley Tours: what do users think?
Jacques Heide: Excellent tour, one of the best. So much history and very knowledgeable and humorous drivers. A real treat! The two-day tickets is a must!
Stephan Broyles: Great way to see the city and to just plain get around during the day.
Mark G: We really enjoyed this tour. Highly recommended.
Felipe Vellozo: Too expensive for what is offered. It was better if instead the driver speaking non-stop, it was provided a recorded track for each city stop. Driver audio was very bad. Plastic window covers blocks most of the view. Traffic is a huge downside in some points and it becomes impossible to take advantage of all 14 stops in one single day pass. Overall I don’t recommend.
Chris Aguilar: My wife and I are new to Boston and had never been on a trolley tour. My daughter who lives here suggested that we take the entire Tour all the way around so we could see if there was anything that we actually wanted to visit later that day or on the next day. We started the tour after a subway ride to Beacon Hill. We were fortunate and have fair weather and sunny skies. At Beacon Hill on the west side is the golden dome State House and the trolley pick up is an inconspicuous sign on the opposite side of the street. While the trolley touts a 15 to 20 minute interval you can occasionally expect 30 minutes to an hour depending upon traffic. We enjoyed several different drivers that had varying degrees of humor and historical knowledge. We both found the driving tour to be enjoyable. We recommend anyone coming to Boston give this to her a try, to see some sites and to get a better idea of what you might like to spend time getting a more thorough visit to. We ended up following the Freedom Trail around the historic part of downtown, spent time in the open markets and on the wharf and spent some time in the beautiful parks and local shops. We ended up with a good many photographs of historical items and images of architecture. We would definitely consider utilizing this trolley or another when coming back to Boston
Mark Smith: Well worth the money. Very informative, and both drivers we had were entertaining
Francis Breau: Really enjoyed the tour. Unfortunately it was a bit too cool to have the windows open. Our tour guide JD was excellent.
Luis Delgado del Valle: If you go without any knowledge of the city, you can get a taste. I discover very nice places thanks to the tour. The time at which the bus pass at any point is unpredictable. Once the bus was full and I had to wait 30 minutes to the next one. This happens also to other customers later. For that price, they could have an app with a map indicating where are the buses, a waiting time estimation, and if there is room. The drivers are very informative and know a lot about the city, but one of them spend too much time complaining about the traffic.
Jenny Schecter: Not worth the money and drivers have a bad habit of leaving you, even if they see you coming.
Majeela Mermaid: Visiting in the month of July, great way to see Boston when you only have a day or so!
Tammy Coakley: I enjoyed the little bit that I experienced on my tour. My small group of 3 decided to take the ride after our morning classes at our conference. We purchased tickets online and jumped on right at our hotel. We were never informed that the trolley was shutting down an hour early that day until we made it from our stop about 4 stops later to stop one where we had to exit the trolley and get back on to start the trip. It was lunch time so we decided to have lunch on the waterfront. By them time we finished lunch, and waited a few minutes to board a trolley, which is when we learned this was the last trip of the day, that we realized we weren't even going to make the full loop. We didn't get to experience any of the city as we hoped off the exit before our hotel and did atleast see Trinity church and the library and then had to walk back to our hotel. I have utilized this company before in many cities so I am familiar with their service but was disappointed with my Boston adventure as we missed seeing some amazing sites due to failure to communicate properly.
Cam Munge: Captain Matty is THE BEST. Had a Great time on the tour. Saw a lot of Boston's history and had fun doing it. Highly Recommend the Hop on/Hop Off guys.
Courtney Gawron: Awesome way to learn about the city and get around. Murphy and Fox Trot were amazing.
Inti Bryon: Really enjoyed the tour, our guide J was amazing. She made it really fun and entertaining for our entire family. Would absolutely recommend.
The Cookie Caravan: Loved Old Town Trolley Tours! All the guides were amazing and very talented! My last guide for the evening was amazing! He even took me to my hotel which was was at the Southport stop (that wasn’t on his route for the evening). I cannot say enough good things about this Trolley tour. I saw the whole city in a day too! It was amazing!
Buraaq: We had a great time on the Old Town Trolley tour. Our guide, Matty, was very engaging and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour with all the information and stories he shared with us. Keep up the good work!
Glenn Pierce: Rode 3 trolleys with the opportunity to hop on and off. 2 of 3 had plastic windows clouded and scratched. It was too cold to open the windows so this meant we couldn’t see things clearly and photos were out of the question. 2 of 3 drivers talked so fast and in a monotone that I, a native English speaker couldn’t always follow what they were pointing out. Overall the tour needed to be higher quality to justify both the time it took and the price.
Ann Rakonick: Very informative tour and great way to see Boston. It is a great city with very friendly people
Marc-André Savard: Great way to learn about Boston in less than 2 hours! You can then use the buss to move in town. JD was great to tell us different stories about the town.
Dolly Acosta: I enjoyed the tour, a very informative and comfortable way to travel when it was raining and cold.I wish they stayed open later but I understand it's a business and they set their hours. Overall very happy
Sheree Lyons: My husband and I went from DC, NYC, then drove all the northeastern states for our bucket list (4 day trip). We were going to fly out of Logan airport at the break of dawn the last day, so we spent the afternoon prior in Boston. Parked near the USS Constitution, walked part of the Freedom Trail to Bunker Hill and back and did the trolley tour through the rest of the way just to see what was in Boston because we really didn’t have many ideas (and exhausted from walking DC and NYC just days before). We never hopped off until the end, but our guide Ghost was a lot of fun telling us all about the city, had a few good jokes and stories so he made it entertaining. A couple of stops had more people than he could hold but he made sure someone knew there were more people waiting. All in all, I’m glad we did this because it was a way for us to see the city and learn about somewhere we’d likely never travel to again (we prefer warmer weather).

Boston Crime Tour: what do users think?
Julie Hathaway: Great tour with alot of history to learn about. Highly recommend if you want to hear the tales of Boston's dark past.
Tyler Chleborad: This tour was fantastic! Omar walked us, literally, through much of Boston’s most notorious crime stories. He’s got some quick wit and presented information that was easy for us to follow despite us not being from the city. The tour also included a lot of recommendations for shopping, food, and more. If you’re into true crime, this is a great way to blend your interest with getting to know the city! Thanks Omar!
Mandy Vask: This was the best bang-for-your-buck (see what I did there) tour, period. We spent almost 2.5 hours walking the streets ... and some back alleys... discussing Boston's historic and some fairly recent crime tales. I knew quite a bit of the the players discussed, but Omar had done his research. When he still gets excited about what he's doing and what he can show you... you know it's good. Two thumbs and some brass knuckles way up
Sharon Maher: Had a great tour with Omar, was so interesting and a great tour guide that made it a great experience. Would highly recommend as a must do if in Boston
Erika Smith: Omar was friendly and well studied. The tour was well paced with plenty of opportunities to sit while he details events and locations. He's also a native so he's a wealth of knowledge on Boston in general. It was such a good tour that I'll forgive his allegiance to Tom Brady and dad jokes 😂
Eric McBrian: Took the tour with my mom and we both thoroughly enjoyed it! Omar was an awesome guide. Very knowledgeable and quick with the corny jokes. The tour lasts about 2 hours, but I felt as though I could’ve kept going trying to learn more about Boston’s history. I would go on the tour again without any question!
Ryan D: Tom knew what he was talking about and was super nice! Great tour if you need something to do.
Doviana Sabatino: Omar was completely amazing with his tour. He got to know a little if everyone one-on-one while walking site to site. The route was planned perfectly with bathroom and sitting breaks. Omar recommended many books that helped with his research to put this tour together. He was knowledgeable and had many funny yet corny jokes. I would recommend Omar to anyone to comes to visit Boston and wants to know about crime history.
Akat: Sorry for delay in commenting. We had a fantastic tour with Omar, an authentic storyteller with flair and soooo much knowledge. Scandal and aha moments of history lessons. Very cool experience. Boston has layers, take the tour to peel them back!
Ricky Goldfarb: We had a really great time today on the tour. Nice use of time if you want to really see the city and not just the usual tourist traps.
AvEN Kryptic: 10/10 recommend anyone visiting Boston! Omar was the funniest/nicest guide. He was there if we had questions, and was always interesting.
Kevron59: Omar was hilarious, had good stories, and was fun to be around. Great way to spend a few hours.
Dave Jackson: Omar was an incredible tour guide and has a wealth of Boston crime knowledge. He was hilarious and fun to learn from. I would recommend this for anyone in Boston.
Raphael Altmann: Omar simply gives a great tour filled with little known facts in surroundings that make his stories all the more realistic. You will not be disappointed.
Jeremy Rohl: Omar did an incredible job, gave us the "directors cut" which was great! I would highly recommend taking the later tours, very pretty landscapes and Omar is a decent photographer. 👌
sean goldsmith: Me and my gf went out with tom on Tuesday and it was an amazing experience. Extremely informative, interpersonal experience and I strongly suggest to try it out. As someone who isn’t a huge true crime junky, I was able to follow along and enjoy the history of the crime in Boston.
Amy Coleman: Went on the crime tour today, Omar was awesome. Super knowledgeable and made learning about murders fun. Great personality and would recommend if visiting Boston.
annabella: took my dad on this tour for father’s day not knowing what to expect and it was great. the tour guide was very well versed in the history of crime in boston and could answer any questions. Learned a lot and it was fun, the tour guide cracked jokes and made small talk throughout the walking tour-which was very nice, he was very welcoming and made the tour feel more like a personal conversation rather than just memorizing a sheet of information and talking at us.
Rj Moreen: While it was very hot our tour guide Omar was OUTSTANDING. Very knowledgeable and intelligent also very considerate with stopping in shady places! Overall the best tour of Boston I've experienced yet!
Adam Hawks: It was excellent Omar was a great guide and shared exquisite information that I’ll remember everytime I touch down in Boston!
Tami DuBose: #1. Google map is WRONG. Don't go to the Court House. You start across the water. LOOK FOR THE WALKING TOUR LOGO on the Google map.#2. MUST DO. Tom, the history teacher, was our guide.FUN, INFORMATIVE & Entertaining.#3. Reasonably fit. We're well fed 50+, active adults. The pace was comfortable & we stopped at benches to sit while Tom shared Boston Crime stories.#4. Time: it was almost 3hrs & we loved every minute. We would've spent the day with Tom.Tom, being a native to the city, shared some local eateries. We went to Fiori's and YUM.Definitely worth the time & we're happy to tip well as the tour price was very reasonable. Thanks Tom.

Boston Ghost Tours by Ghosts & Gravestones: what do users think?
Michael Dicellis: Not worth the price or your. Waste of 2 hours
Paul Rudovic: First time in Boston, and wanted to take my Girlfriend on a historic tour with a twist on it. We both had a lot of fun! “Betty”, our tour guide”, was knowledgeable and entertaining, as well as everyone else on the staff. Definitely recommend doing the tour at night: adds to the ambience. If you like Ghost tours, don’t skip out on this one!
Eileen Robley: We had a great time on the tour, best thing we did in our three day visit. We loved hearing about all the ghosts at the Parker House, especially as we were staying there. Our guide, Bernard, was really good, very energetic and funny. It's a great way to spend to see Boston and to learn some alternative history.
Lisa Edmonds: What a great experience. I had no expectations and was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed it. Mixing humor with facts was a very smart idea. I would definitely do this tour again and highly recommend this tour
Dean Rossano: Our guide was great!
Cassie Struck: Our guide really made this an amazing tour. She was theatrical but not in a cheesy way, which is hard to pull off. She was lovely and was an excellent guide. We got to see some of the oldest cemeteries in Boston after hours (she had a key to open the gates after hours) and hear more about the history of the city. Fun way to see another side of the city.
Brent Langrehr: Almost overlooked this since I’m not really into “ghosts.” Our tour guide, who I can’t remember the name of unfortunately, was such a delight and very entertaining. It was much more educating than I thought it would be which is why I came to Boston in the first place to have a learning vacation.Would definitely do this again if I get the chance to bring my parents.
Tiela Halpin: This is the 2nd G&G tour my husband have taken this year. The first was in Key West on a whim back in February. We enjoyed it enough that when we were making plans with my MIL to visit Boston for my husband's birthday we booked another.Once again, a great experience. Dare I say even better than our first. We were lucky enough to have Bernard as our guide, and whether his attitude and accent were genuine or not he was GREAT! I'm really the one that likes all the spookier things and Bernard's style felt tailor made for my taste, haha. Between spookystories, history, and jokes he nailed it all.I work in tourism in Chicago (river architecture guide) and I always say I try to give the kind of tour I'd want to take. And from the amount of fun he seemed to be having, it would seem Bernard is of a similar mind. If G&G ever tried expanding to Chicago, I'd be tempted to apply, haha.Highly recommend. Worth every penny. Cash or venmo options for tipping- and you absolutely SHOULD tip your tour guide.
Christine Rossano: we went on our tour on 4/28/23. All of your staff are fabulous. Our guide in particular was amazing. She was funny, interesting and a wonderful actress. She barely broke character and her delivery was seamless. A must do if you go to Boston
Human: Had so much fun on this tour! The guide was a lady that I think went by Dolly while in costume. I wish they had Venmo so I could have tipped her. She was phenomenal and I felt including being on the tour by myself. Great experience.
Ziggy Zip: On a night colder than a corpse, my daughter and I took this tour. They would have made a killing if they sold hot coffee and chocolate.Despite the cold, Zed, our zombie tour guide, regailed our group with stories of tragic haunts and unsolved killings as the bus wound its way through the North End. Zed and later gravedigger Jack, led us through Kings Chapel and The Granary cemeteries and Boston Commons, pointing out famous graves and sharing morbid facts. The cast was knowledgeable, entertaining and seemingly impervious to the cold. They cover a couple hundred years of history with stories of murder, intrigue and macarbe truths. The creepiest part is learning where all the bodies are buried. There are parts of Boston I will never look at the same way again. And kudos to the bus driver for navigating those narrow streets. This was definitely a worthwhile tour! But if you book tickets in the winter, bundle TF up! The bus stops feeling warm after the first cemetery and the tour guides are immune to cold.
Maria Leece: My friends and I thought this was going to be a somewhat scary tour. It was very gimmicky and nothing what we thought it would be. The information they shared about the history of some of the places we visited was great, but the guides remained in character with them trying to sound scary, costumes and makeup were meant to make them look old and look dead. It wasn’t worth the $47.
Jaclyn Disher: This was a spectacular evening with our Ghoulish tour guide (we forget her name!). She was petite with an English accent and she was delightful. It took TONS of energy to tell all the stories she did and not break character. Definitely worth the money and time. Would totally recommend to others!
שלמה גלידאי: Not very attractive to those who come from other countries.
Mylène Bélanger: The best ghost tour I've done so far! Our guide was excellent! Atmosphere was spooky and we laughed and learned a lot. A must seen!
Chris Webb: We decided to try a tour as we were visiting colleges in the Boston area. I thought it would be a lot more jumping out at us like a haunted walk - it was not. It was very informative, interesting and educational. The guide provided very well-researched history. Great balance of in-character and out-of-character commentary. Might be less enjoyable in inclement weather.
Ashlee Quintana: The most fun your i’ve ever done. The tour guide was amazing and interacted with everybody individually before the tour.
Ryan Smith: Great tour of the graveyards of Boston. Funny at times, spooky at times, and an all-around great family fun time! This, the Trolley Tour, the Freedom Trail and the Tea Party Museum are MUST-DO for traveling in Boston.
Howard Rowe: Everyone in my family enjoyed this ghost tour. We visited Copps Hill Burying Ground and Kings Chapel Burying Ground. The tour guide was fantastic and made the tour both educational and entertaining. She told ghost tales from the colonial period and talked about the Boston Strangler. Would recommend this tour to everyone (age 13 and above).
Justyna Wrebel: My Husband and I went on this tour and we both had a great time. The guide Mercer was funny and informative as she seemed to enjoy her job and the history of Boston great history.
Brian Hall: I recommend going :

New England Trips Inc.: what do users think?
Brian Walters: Visiting Boston from the UK. Booked the Martha’s Vineyard trip before we left as it was a place I really wanted to visit. Excellent service from start to finish. Our driver was called Bart who picked us up promptly from our hotel as arranged, he stopped on the way so we all could use the bathroom. He dropped us off at the ferry terminal and supplied all the tickets for our ride across to Martha’s Vineyard. On the island we were met by the tour bus driver Tom who took us around the island with a running commentary. Beautiful place. Then back on the ferry later that day where Bart was waiting to take us back to our hotel at the other end.Totally recommend the 3 hour tour. Fantastic service from start to finish. Our trip was on Tuesday 2nd May. Not a lot of businesses open as it’s early in the season.
Kayli Balsama: During our stay in Boston, we planned a day trip to Martha’s Vineyard. It has always been on our bucket list of places to visit. We booked through Viator, a company called New England Trips. Included in the trip was: hotel pick-up and drop-off, round trip ferry and a 3-Hour narrated island tour bus.The entire day went smoothly from start to finish. We received a confirmation call the day before the trip. Prior to the trip, we didn’t have to worry about printing tickets. All of our tickets were presented to us when we got onto the bus.Our driver, Jennifer was very nice and had a good sense of humor when talking to passengers. We received complimentary water and snacks during the drive both ways. From there we took the Island Queen Ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. When we arrived, Tom our tour guide was waiting for us. Who also is a local to Martha’s Vineyard. He was exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly during the entire tour. We got to learn a lot of history and fun facts about each neighborhood. If you get the chance to visit Martha’s Vineyard, I would 100% recommend Tom to be your tour guide. We stopped in Edgartown, Aquinnah, and Oaks Bluff. Drove through Chilmark and Tisbury. At each stop we were given plenty of time to sightsee before moving on to the next location. The final stop was at Oaks Bluff and we had 2 and 1/2 hours to ourselves to explore.Leaving the island was a breeze. Got picked up by the same ferry and headed back onto our mini van to take us back to Boston. As a first time visitor to the island, I am glad we made the decision to book through this company. It exceeded my expectations. We didn’t have to worry about any travel details, we just had to show up and enjoy the views.
KCK Kytes: My family and I did the Kennebunkport and coastal Maine trip. It was incredible! All the sights you want to see and our driver Lucia was a professional and a pleasure! Will definitely book other trips in the future!
Jon: Purchased the trip to Martha's Vineyard, no tour. A man named Coach was our driver & he was awesome. Very knowledgeable about the different places throughout Boston. Supplied waters, snacks and made sure it was a comfy ride. Stopped for Dunkin'/McDs and bathroom on the ride there. Another stop on the way back. A little pricer than I would've liked to pay but would recommend.
Kayla Alsina Rose: Description says about 12 hours more like 5 or 6 including getting there I wouldn’t recommend it’s not enough time to explore the island it is best if you go on your own waste of money $115 and if you miss the bus they do not provide assistance in getting you back as I feel like they should especially for paying 115$ felt like waste of money and could’ve just spent less money by driving there I would not go back just drive on your own there and back as your able to do more activities and spend more time. Waste of money if you can’t enjoy the full experience. Tour guide just talks about how whitey bulger came to her house and she’s Puerto Rican and white as of what does that have to do with the tour
Ann ORourke: Unfortunately, I needed to cancel my reservation. New England Trips was fantastic about being friendly and quick with returning my money. I look forward to a future trip with them.
Ross Armstrong: Interesting, informative and likeable guide. What's not to like?
Legacy Homes: Steve and his team went out of their way to help my wife and her mother have an easy and fun trip to Martha's Vineyard. I searched for ways for my wife to fly into Boston, travel to Marth's Vineyard, stay a few days, and then travel back to Boston. Steve's company was able to pick my wife up from her hotel in Boston, handle all transportation, and then ensure he picked her up again a few days later at the ferry and dropped her off back at the front door of her hotel back in Boston. Again, trying to logistically execute this on our own would have been very difficult and we are so thrilled to have entrusted our vacation plans with New England Trips. Thanks again Steve and we appreciate all that you do/did.
Michael Dunbar: Did not do the trip. Tour was not available. Error on the website. The man I spoke to on the phonewas very nice and apologetic. Rented a car in Boston and drove down to Plymouth with my wife. We had a good time there and stopped on Hingham to trace my family roots. I would have taken the tour if available.
Beth Vander Schaaf: Highly recommend-what a fun day trip! The tour guides were helpful and kept us super informed with all the rich historic sites along the way to and from Martha’s Vineyard our destination. Thank you- loved it!
Ani Anghalatyan: I did Plymouth/cape cod tour and the lady who was in charge of the tour was just amazing!!! Kristyn is very helpful, knows a lot of historical information and at the end of the tour also took us to the monument of Ancestors to take a look at it and take quick pictures. She was really sweet, timely, and the tour was just all I needed to see in Massachusetts in 1 day.
Lori Hansen: Took the day trip to Martha's Vineyard.Too much time on the bus. Anthony, our tour guide was very difficult to understand due to his accent and that he spoke way too fast. Many of us had to ask him multiple times to slow down. He also talked non-stop. No breaks. Gave me a headache. Not enough stops and the few that we did stop at did not allow much time. Recommend ditching Tisbury, Chilmark, and that part of the island. The tour needs to spend .ore time at Vineyard Haven, Oak Bluff and Edgartown.
Susan Leuchars: We took the full day trip to Cape Cod and Plimoth Plantation - what a great day! Jeff our driver was entertaining from start to finish and very professional with lots of local knowledge. Our van was comfortable and the snacks and cold water an added bonus. The day had a lot of variety: beach and wetlands on Cape Cod, Heritage Museum and Gardens (loved those Indy cars and the unusual hydrangeas). Plimoth Plantation is interesting and well laid out with a variety of demonstrations. Returned to Boston on the coastal road seeing a mind blowing number of huge fancy homes. The tour was well paced with time to see the sites without rushing. Highly recommended.
marie wallace-nelson: I'm currently on a tour of Martha's Vineyard and if you would like a fore taste of HELL this is the one for you. A/C feels like the heater is on. I want a refund!!!!!!Our driver Jim Kelley frm the hotel to the ferry was WONDERFUL!!! Mr. Kelley is punctual, professional and courteous. The temperature on the bus was heavenly. Thank you so muchMr. Kelley for the snacks and water.
Kenneth Ratajczak: A M A Z I N G The driver picked us up promptly at our hotel early in the morning. His name is Dave and he was absolutely thee best facilitator I've ever had. Dave was very cheerful, friendly and helpful. Not easy to do when he had to pick up 12 to 14 guests at I believe it was 5 different hotels. He and I were cracking jokes and wise-cracks back and forth, all good natured, because we have the same sense of humor. The rest of the guests in the van really enjoyed our banter. It did not prevent him from doing an excellent and professional job the whole way to Falmouth, Mass. and the whole way back. That's 1 1/2 hours drive each way.He told us some facts and things of interest during the drive, had time to allow for a "pit stop" for those needing restroom facilities or to just stretch their legs and drove 100% safely and even checked with us if the A/C in the van was at a comfortable level. He provided cold, bottled water and breakfast snacks in the A.M. and salty snacks on the return drive. My wife and I enjoyed every minute and Dave is an outstanding asset to the New England Trips, Inc. family.I must include Ken too, who was the driver and guide on the optional 3 hour narrated tour once at Martha's Vineyard. His knowledge of the area and conversational tone made me feel as if I was visiting with an old friend, who was showing me all the must see sights the Vineyard offered. Two excellent and unforgettable experiences. This was the best money I spent during our 4 day stay in Boston. I would never had experienced all I did had I not taken this tour. If you are planning a visit soon, make sure that you check this day trip out. All I can add is they get an A+++ from me.

Peter Pan Bus (South Station): what do users think?
Cindy Abbe: Always on time, clean and fast. Love them to get into Boston from the cape.
Jude Reid: Never book in advance! When they say no refunds, they mean no refunds!I had the worst experience with Peter Pan Bus Lines this past weekend. I was flying back from a week-long vacation in Utah on the Red-Eye (an overnight flight) and had reserved Peter Pan bus tickets two weeks in advance for the 7am bus from Boston to Hartford. My flight was delayed by 2 hours and I was able to reschedule on the app for the 8:30am bus, which I missed by just 15 minutes. When I got to the station, a Peter Pan representative told me that I would need to purchase new tickets in order to catch the next bus! I said that was pretty unfair and they said too bad. I explained my circumstances and they convinced me to spend an extra $40 on luggage (which I had already paid for in my original tickets). Then they said the next available bus was leaving at 2pm since all the other buses were full - this would be more than 5 hours of waiting from when I arrived at the station. At this point, I ended up arranging alternative transportation to get home. Hundreds of dollars wasted. Do not purchase tickets in advance! If your flight is delayed, they do not care!
Colin Murphy: High quality bus driver on the January 4th 11:45 bus from BOS to Hyannis. Did the ol' timey announcer call at the bus stop and had a very classy and professional PA system safety & logistics instructional. Seems like a great guy, you definitely scored big value snagging him. 10/10
Xiangyi Meng: Very good service. The bus was delayed half an hour when I got on from Hartford because there was a traffic in NYC. The driver promised to us that we would arrive on time. And he did! The trip was definitely fast, but it also felt very safe and smooth. Peter Pan is so great (and much better than the other notoriously bad-service bus company Greyhound!).
bonnie rup: I experienced terrible service trying to travel on Peter Pan from Worcester to Boston. I had already booked and arrived at Union Station to find that for some reason Peter Pan had closed the inside terminal waiting area so customers had to wait outside on cold benches in the freezing cold in a dark area. The bus was at least 45 minutes late in arriving with no information available as to when or whether it would actually arrive. I repeatedly tried to get through to customer service on my phone to find out when the bus would arrive and could not get through. With my phone running low on battery and my only sure option to race upstairs to try to catch the next commuter rail into Boston before it left. I contacted Peter Pan customer service with my complaint to see if I could get a refund - I got an automatic email saying they would contact me within a few business days and never heard from them again. Peter Pan obviously does not give a hoot about their customers. They've been lobbying for years to block train service so that they can continue to provide lousy service to people who have no choice but to use them. TERRIBLE COMPANY!
Ev Brice: Was supposed to be a direct trip from Logan airport in Boston to Amherst. The bus was late then we were taken to south station and the driver left without saying anything and we all had to wait alone in the bus. He came back and only told us that there was a mix up, he then left again telling us to wait. We were one hour late to our destination with no explanation.
Handcrafted wood products: Thanks for the Boston to Hyannis and back bus trip, great service!! Part of our New England holiday.Peter & Lynne UK
Анастасия Епишева: So easy to find, waiting room very comfortable with wifi but cold, inside you will find only fast food, if you hungry grab your own drinks and food.Restrooms are very clean
Jeremy DuBrul: If booking for a flight to Logan, DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR ARRIVAL TIMES!!!!3:15p out of Barnstable MA and posted ARRIVAL is 5:05pThat's a lieI am now in danger of missing my 6:30p flight
Hollis Hulett: 8.25.2022: Purchased tocket from boston logan to woods ferry with 115 pickup. We all watched a peter pan bus drive by at 110 with no intentions of stopping. At 140, we hopped on competing bus company to get to our destination. What a waste.
Alison Taylor: I wanted to save my son a 3 hour round trip from Cape Cod to Logan airport during rush hour yesterday. He found Peter Pan Bus. Perfect timing, on time, clean. The driver Mr R Pine was excellent! Polite, friendly. He gave clear instructions and even very kindly asked a couple of young girls to turn down their phone per bus rules so as not to disturb others. He was also a great driver. Totally safe. Very professional. Thanks for a great experience Peter Pan!
D H: Have traveled with Bonanza bus line through the purchase by Peter Pan for over 30 yrs. One of my biggest grips is the cleanliness of the buses. Every time I ride them I wipe the fake leather, the handles and arm rests. My cloth always comes up dirty. The floors need a good scrubbing and the other various plastic parts of the seats I look at when I'm seated.Get a good cleaning crew in every other night so it looks like Peter Pan cares.
lowee peace (peacelove): I have traveled a lot in my life with a lot of different transportation, which were at least better than this service from new to other places is the worst including outlets did not work,my case was that I felt cold and in our next stop the driver did not let me open my luggage which was easy thing and beneficial for my health. The main part is the Jamaican drivers rude rude rude not helpful not there to answer questions that may be helpful for passengers and not pleasant at all.I had three transferrs and the last one was late one hour !!!This is my second and my last time I take this bus not worth it even for free
Michel Alberto Rodríguez Martínez: Mexican transportation are a way better
Paulo Souza: Fui de Boston até Sagamore, o unibus com problemas no assentos, não travavam o assento da frente veio para traz e espremeu minhas pernas. E o meu assento também não fica fixo. Foi uma péssima viagem 😡
Mel Murph: The WORST transportation services available. No WI-FI, uncomfortable, HORRIBLE customer service. Alexa is not helpful and Emily “the supervisor” should not be proud of the company she does work for. Absolutely horrendous!!!!!!In response to rebuttal….Under the same complimentary service list is a bathroom, heat and AC….if the Bathroom/toilet didn’t work, the AC wasn’t working and the Heat during winter months…I am sure, or hope you wouldn’t like people on the bus with the expectation to “deal with it” with no recourse. And let me point out….service/WI-FI wasn’t available for 4 straight hours, the entire bus ride…That isn’t poor service connection. That’s no connection or WI-FI!
Raymond Robinson: An easy to find and navigate transport terminal. I bought tickets to get to Woods Hole from here.
Deep Dand: Don't bother asking the guy over the counter any information. You'll only get rude replies. I asked him the gate for my bus and he said gate 1 which wasn't the right gate. And I asked him if the bus was already here and he repeated my question and then told me the scheduled time for bus vs the current time. Such an idiot.
Brasu Manopla: Rapido y seguro
Peter Breidenbach: Good deal. Always on time.
Eric Fett: Dangerous. Horrible customer service. Someone got locked in the luggage compartment

Boston Town Crier - Tours of Freedom Trail: what do users think?
Adam Bryant: The tour was incredible! Samuel Gray was extremely knowledgeable, funny, and engaging. My family thoroughly enjoyed the tour!
Jake Kirby: One of the best walking tours I’ve ever been on. Informative, funny, and very interesting. Your guide poope is the man you want for a tour!
Awesomebrix: Fantastic walking tour of the first portion of the freedom trail. Our tour guide (Isiah maybe?) was fantastic. He was funny, but very informative. Lots of history that you wouldn't otherwise know about. The tour ends near Faneuil Hall/Quincey Market which makes sense. I recommend taking this walking tour.
Wade Williams: Great tour with informative and knowledgeable guides. We went in the winter and they took us to the first 11 stops. Not sure if that is only in winter or not. But we drove to see the other locations. Tour was 1 and a half hours. Very cold in January.
Kylie Jo Rutherford: really enjoyed our tour. we had about 12 people in our group on a rainy NYE. our tour guide Hannah Adams was great, funny, and cheery. She really knew everything there was to know about the freedom trail. she also focused a lot on safety when crossing roads and would only cross unless the entire group could! i’m a history teacher and my partner also enjoys history so we loved it. Highly recommend.
Jesse St Croix: Way to many people in our group. Not so great. Could not get close enough to hear. Not nearly enough history, way to much schtick. I had a hard time walking and his pace really wore me out. He took us onto beacon hill where we were not supposed to go and he could not use his mic. I missed a good chunk of the tour. Waste of my money on this one. No thanks.
Rich n Sue: Thoroughly enjoyed this tour of the Freedom Trail with Boston Town Criers! It was a full 90 minutes on foot through various points of history including the Boston Commons, Park Church, through a.good portion of the Freedom Trail and into the beautiful Granary Burying Grounds on Tremont Street where many of our Revolutionary Patriots, founding fathers, leaders and other special Americans rest. Our tour guide had so many great stories and funny anecdotes...we highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting or living in Boston!
A. Makela: Excellent walking tour with enough rest in the shade in the summer by our historically dressed guide. Highly recommend the town crier tour. Military, student and senior discounts are available!
John O: Very educational guided tour and a great guide.
Laura Snitcher: Loved our tour guide, “James Otis”. He was well-informed, funny, and did his best to keep us in the shade. This was the highlight of our vacation.Tips:- Make sure to reserve your spot ahead of time, our tour was completely full.- If visiting in the summer, I highly recommend the 9 am tour so you don’t have to walk around in the hottest part of the day.- Tour guide will take you to a lot of the stops on the Freedom Trail, but not all. You will start at Boston Commons and end at Faneuil Hall Marketplace.- Bring a bottle of water and wear sunscreen. It was a good time. Highly recommend.
Luke James: Took a great tour led by the one and only Jeremiah Poope. A great guide with fantastic knowledge of the freedom trail as well as a lot of other Boston facts. Can strongly recommend this tour.
Amy Lynch: “Hannah Adams” was a wonderful tour guide on our Freedom Trail Tour. She was professional, knowledgeable and answered our groups’ questions readily. She shared little known facts and highlighted people who contributed to our country’s history but may not be talked about in our history books. Absolutely would recommend everyone to hire a Town Crier even if they feel knowledgeable about Boston’s locations and Revolutionaries.
Jon: We went on the 12:30 tour on July 10th. Our tour guide was terrific and amazing with all of the knowledge she shared with us. We enjoyed the tour very much and glad we chose Boston Town Crier tours.
Laura Bakanic: Wonderful tour! Our guide "Ben Edes" was fantastic! My kids (4, 7, and 16) thought it would be boring, but became completely engaged! Must do for a first time Boston visitor.
Barry levinson: Excellent Guide and a great way to learn some history
Anna Justis: Excellent historic walking tour of the Downtown portion of the Freedom Trail! Every guide provides a slightly different narration, so worth experiencing it multiple times.
Andrew Smith: Really informative…with a dedication to accuracy and dispelling the myths surrounding the build up to the War of Independence
Andrew McArdle: Boston has a lot of tours and some might be more detailed, but this tour led by Benjamin Yeats was fantastic. Entertaining and informative and rolled with some rude guests in a professional manner. We learned a lot and really enjoyed our time. 100% recommend this tour, it’s the perfect length of time to not get boring or tired, not to mention an exceptional value at $15 each.Services:City tours,Group tours
J Clifton Meek: Walk, don't ride the bus. Even though the weather was in the 30s and breezy, walking the Trail gives one the opportunity to experience Boston and to get visceral feeling for the place. It also lets you enjoy the architecture and make sudden stops for tasty treats! The history in Boston is omnipresent, which is lovely; the Trail lets you get the high points in focus and provides a context for just walking around and soaking it in.
Eli Parker: Historical
Dominic Tamburello: Boston pride
