Meka Simms: I went here to look at a car I probably would’ve purchased today however I was there while another customer was there looking at a car and overheard the conversation. They wouldn’t let this customer test drive the car without promising to buy the car or putting a down payment on the car. Covid or not I don’t see how you are expected to purchase a car or make a decision without test driving it. It’s real simple to sanitize anything and air it out. It’s not like 20 people are driving that same car that same day. Anyway once I heard how they did business, I didn’t want to do business with them. All used cars do not drive the same!!! If you want to test drive a car before purchasing or being forced to leave a deposit , I do not suggest this place. Also it seems like they are not willing to negotiate on pricing from what I heard.

Look at their website beforehand and figure out which car you want, and they will make every step of the process as easy as possible. They set me up with a great car, got me a deal on new tires, and even helped with some of the cost of a repair I had to have soon after buying the car (an understandable repair for the number of miles on the car I bought). They have been super nice and I could not have asked for better customer service or a better first car! Prices are completely reasonable, come in knowing what you want and they will make it happen. Julian: Any rating below 4 stars is foolish. If you know exactly what you want, these guys will make the process 100% seamless. I bought my '16 Honda Accord from these guys and i was in and out of the dealership. I knew exactly what car, color and trim i wanted and signed the paperwork accordingly. They do NOT have a large lot which limits them to how many cars they can show. DO NOT COME HERE ASKING TO TEST DRIVE EVERY SINGLE CAR! Know what you want and you'll have no issues. Keep in mind, most cars do have a minor accident history but this is why they're able to offer the prices they have. Just do your research prior and you'll be fine. Ray was an absolute help and was straight to the point.

Paul Buccheri: I purchased a 2020 Jeep Wrangler from Avis in Boston.Driving home on 128 and hit a bump and death wobble. Called the dealer, they had it 2 weeks and said they did an alignment and front tires. Got the car back and a week after driving it the car started pulling again to the right and when i hit a bump in the road ... death wobble again. Brought the car back and they kept it for 2 more week and said the did an alignment and tires (again..)Now after driving the car for 2-month, alignment is off again and the on top of that the transmission is slipping and the engine is tapping. (lifters).call Avis and they told me its an as is sale. Called the Boston office and the manager was just plain rude and unhelpfull.If your looking for a vehicle i would highly recommend saying clear of this shady place. Absolutely worst car buying experience i have ever had.if i could give them negative stars i would.

James Schaye: A joke of a car dealership with the location is East Boston. The “salesman “ James was quick to “say hello” in the parking lot when we drove in Then he disappeared. He told us if we wanted to know the price look on the web site. Then he disappeared Finally he came back out when we went searching for him. He said five minutes. Fifteen minutes later he finally appeared . Secondly the pricing is absurd. Pure junk cars at high prices which are way over Kelly Blue Book. Lots of scratches and dents and even one car had rust. When we asked why they were higher than the listed Kelley Blue Book price he said, “ Blue Book has never sold a car”Stay away

Mallory Mays: We recently tried to buy a car there and they said nothing was wrong with the vehicle and everything’s been fixed.We took it to a separate mechanic and there were so many red flags with it that they didn’t tell us about nor did their mechanic tell us about.. first example is the bottom of the car was held together by zip ties… we did not buy the car due to the issues and then the salesman wanted to raise price even more. I feel bad for the next person who goes to try to buy the car without taking it to a separate private mechanic not affiliated with Avis. I always trusted the brand Avis, but after this experience it changed my view on them.If you’re going to buy a car from them, make sure you bring it to a private mechanic before purchasing.

Kristen Cyr: Carl was amazing! He was honestly a huge reason why I chose this company to buy our car from. From the very start on the phone just asking questions, he was so helpful and polite and just real. I had a bunch of different questions before making the trip down to see the van we wanted. We told Carl we were over an hour away and he right away said he’d look the car in and out and look everything up about the vehicle to make sure it was even worth the trip. He was so relatable and not pushy which is huge for us. After talking to him I just knew this was the place I wanted to go. Even better, when we got there we had our littlest daughter with us (she’s one) and Carl helped out so much with her while we talked about the van and eventually signed papers to buy! He was making her laugh, sitting with her giving her things to play with it was amazing. If you’re a parent of little ones you know how wonderful this is when you’re trying to get things done. Vans been great, we’re so happy with everything! Thanks again Carl, you were so great!

William Betsch: I had a very negative experience with these people. Simply put we had made an agreement to do a sale at a specified price, but when I arrived with the vehicle and title to complete the transaction they tried the old tag team scam with one salesperson Paul, playing the "bad guy" and the other Alvin, "good guy" and tried to get me to accept less for the vehicle. If you want to do business with these people, just know that it is a "show me the money" type of situation; b/c their word is worthless.
Mai Yer: I had been looking to sell my car for a while and I ended up here through a KBB referral after trying to get an idea of what my car was currently worth. My interactions with John and Paul were very friendly and professional.I spent most of my time here with Paul and he made me feel like a valued customer. At no point was I rushed or felt pressured to do anything. He was informative and gave me the space to make my own decision. When I did speak with John about the potential value of my car, he didn’t pressure me either. We did end up reaching an agreement with a number both parties were happy with. The paperwork took less than 30 mins and I received copies of everything. If you are trying to sell your vehicle, bring the title with you to save time (even if you aren’t sure if you will sell). Verbal quotes for a depreciating asset like a car are tricky and may not be valid anymore beyond the moment they are given (ie if you have to come back another day) and without the title present, the paperwork cannot be completed.I recommend John’s auto sales to anyone who is looking for meaningful human interaction and honest sales people. I didn’t come in to buy a car but I did notice that they do financing as well and they have an employee designated for that there.All of the staff were so courteous as well. Someone always held the door open for me if we happened to be walking through it at the same time, and another staff member even provided me with random bags to take all my items out of my car which was him going above and beyond his job. I should have emptied my vehicle/ checked that it was empty beforehand but due to uncertainty of being able to sell it, and thinking that since my husband cleaned my vehicle to take photos, he had emptied it already.The location although is in a great place for marketing (you can see their sign as you drive right on by towards Somerville), the size of the lot is a little small and difficult to get to with all the construction currently going on. Use the Burger King parking lot to make it easier on yourself.

Very understanding with a great personality aswell as great vehicles ford fiesta is great. Because of John's auto in lynn I'll be having a fiesta in my fiesta !!! Ricky was very good help aswell I appreciate the team they have and what they have done for me and my family helping us into a vehicle. Would I recommend? Yes, would I get another car from them? Eugene Anderson: ***Very disappointing customer service and treatment ***I called John’s to find out about their financing and I had a very short conversation with someone who does the financing. The reason that it was short is due to the fact that he asked me about my finances which are plenty to afford a car but I have some items on my credit that require sub-prime financing (repo over 6 months old). He then told me after I disclosed the repo that I need to bring $3000-$5000 to put down in order to get the banks to make an offer which I thought was a little steep. There was no interest in taking any information or even filling out an application and presenting my $1000 down payment to the banks and he seemed not interested in talking to me at all and rushed me off the phone. Now most people would say that’s not nearly enough or that I’m crazy, well keep reading.One month later I ended up calling another dealership and they were very interested in the fact that I had the income and they were willing to submit an offer on a vehicle with my $1000 down payment. 7-Days later I was financed with $800 down and drove away in a vehicle and I had a much better experience.

Vienna Poiesz: I bought a 2013 subaru outback for $13k and have spent an additional $6k since I bought it (only 4k miles later). We had a tire pressure issue within the first month, we found out the tires were dry rotted - $1k. Our first 100+ mile trip the gaskets blew and we were stranded in the middle of nowhere for 3 days - nearly $4k. Then we found out several of our lights went out - $500. Last week a hose blew and our AC stopped working only to find out all of the hoses are rotted and need to be changed - $400. Also, we have an oil leak and I honestly cant even get around to fixing it.DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS!
Kml Uur: I bought a suburu forester from these guys and had a problem with the car almost every month ever since I bought it. The tire pressure light was on when I bought the car. I took the car back 3 times for that issue and every time they told me that the light is gonna turn of after I drive a while. But its really been a long time and its still on. And the staff is really rude I took my friend with me and the owner told my friend that he doesn't care about his opinions.

Mark Comstock: I first went to two different shops in Boston and got conflicting reports that were quoted in the thousands of dollars, then I got a recommendation from a friend to call Boston Auto Exchange (recently moved from Washington st in boston to 19 Park Ave in Arlington) so I took the drive over here and I’m so grateful I did! I got an honest opinion on my car and a great price for only 1 part that truly needed to be replaced. At the other two shops before this I was almost swindled into 5+ different replacements. Then I decided to ask if they could get me a price for tires and they blew the other shops out of the water with price.On top of that, all the guys working there and hanging at the shop couldn’t be friendlier. They didn’t have the part on site during my first visit, but they were able to get it within one week with flexible hours to schedule an appointment to do the repair. The staff was incredibly polite and efficient - overall it was a seamless and easy experience. Theresa (sp?) was particularly wonderful to work with; she was there during my first visit and remembered me when I returned for the repair. Good experience all around!
Rob Utzschneider: I have been coming to Herb Chambers Toyota for service for 20 years. During this period I have put 230,000 miles on a Sequoia that lasted 11 years and I am in my ninth year with Highlander Hybrid that has 130,000 miles on it and will last many more years. No one touches these cars except for Herb Chambers service technicians, even for tires and batteries. I trust the service department completely. They are honest and they are always looking out for my interests. They tell me when something needs to be fixed immediately and they advise me about things that both of us will need to keep an eye on. In twenty years, neither vehicle has broken down on the road. My most recent service experience was great. In addition to completing a normal servicing, they found a tiny leak in the air conditioning system and fixed it. My final point is that your Toyota will last for a long time if you get it serviced by Toyota service technicians according to the recommended schedule.

They lied straight to our faces saying they checked the transmission, oil brakes and that it was in tip top shape and ready to go, they were also informed on our situation knowing we needed a safe and reliable car due to our baby being on the way, very dishonest and disgusting people please do not buy from them, had to get a lawyer to get our money back.

I don't have plenty of free time on my hands to go on random people'sbusiness page and write "something untrue". A little reminder, I had issue with the car few weeks after the purchase. And your guy Jose aka employee never took care of the real problem ,instead had me bring the car backand forth for 2- 3 months so the guarante was going to be up.
K ami: This dealership is waste of money and time.Two years ago , I was sold a 2012 Hyundai Veracruz with engine misfire! Their inspection report was a fabrication of lies...the honk was not working ,and front brakes were changed within the first 2 months.They send me to couple gas stations mechanics, owned by the dealer by the way, who all charged payments instead of telling the truth, that the engine have to be REPLACED!Lacks HONESTY, TRANSPARENCY and PROFESSIONALISM.

No detail was too small for the crew at Greenleaf to tend to. They were very generous with thier time ,shareing thier expertise. They have quality used cars to choose from. When you do accept delivery of the vehicle, rest assured no detail of service to the vehicle has been overlooked. Expect full service, from financing with the best secure lenders in the country, to top quality full bumper to bumper optional warranty packages, again, the very best there is, and if you like, they have a large full service vehicle mechanic crew on site to bring your vehicle to after your purchase if your in need of top quality, honest mechanical service. Forget the funny stuff, you'll get a nice lift buying a car at Green Leaf Auto. For sure👍. 10 stars.
Noel Briggs: I bought a 2012 Lincoln MKZ from them in 2020. I'm scrapping the car this weekend, almost 2 years later. I bought the car with 101,000 miles on it, and it only has 143,000 miles on it. I remember how odd the sales process was, the weird pressure tactic of the "owner" turning his back on me when I made a counter-offer. He didn't like the fact that I wanted to pay cash for the vehicle up-front. Obviously, it's better for them if you finance your vehicle - they made that clear. The "inspection" was bogus. The windshield wipers didn't work (I didn't notice until I drove away), so how could any inspection miss that? Not even 8 weeks went by before the transmission began changing gears in a "rough manner." Despite their promise that the car was in great condition and the extra $1k I paid for their "mechanic inspection," a real mechanic easily found that the transmission lines were rotted - that was the first $1,600 I paid to repair this car. Since then, the water pump has failed (this is a big deal with this type of car and not an easy fix at all), the air conditioning never worked right - my family and I sweated through hot new england summer traffic for the past 2 years - and the rear differential has failed making the car unable to be driven. These charlatans got me for my money. Never again, and I will warn anyone thinking of doing business with them!!!

Aubrey Charles: Walked onto the lot without an appointment. The owner personally helped us and we walked out of there 2 hours later the unofficial owners of a vehicle. The process was smooth and fast. 2 days later we officially owned the vehicle we wanted. Because of my work schedule it was even worked out so I could pick it up after hours.We felt seen, heard, and respected from the moment we walked on the lot. I feel that they were honest and worked hard to make things happen for us all the while keeping within the budget parameters. We never felt pressured. It was a great experience and we will be purchasing our next vehicle here.

Sean Cunningham: I had an excellent experience at this dealership from the first phone conversation with abe to when i first met abe and his crew when i drove from nh to look at this 2016 (white)GMC Canyon, not only did they fix the few small cosmetic items i asked them too, much to my surprise when i went to pick it up they had installed new wipers on it and did a complete brake job all the way around with new rotors and pads, that away to take care of your customers boys, all of you , yard man, finance director, abe himself, and i believe it was abes uncle who i had a blast with when i went and picked up the truck. I have never had so much fun in my life negotiating on a vehicle. Its been a few months now and everything is going fine so far. We will be back again abe, im also glad my 14 year old son was able to witness this buying experience showing him that there are still some good people left in this world. A great positive experience.
