Bethany Mayott: Bouncers were extremely rude. There were many over served people that ruined the vibe. People throwing up in the middle of the club, falling down stairs. Unsafe environment. They let way too many people upstairs to the point you can’t even get a drink. When I finally did they were over priced and not worth it.

jennifer zaniboni: We bought skip the line passes for both upstairs and downstairs venues for $40 pp for birthday party. We arrived about 9 pm and there was no line at either. Later there was a line outside for the lower level club. Very fun venue and MC was good at having the birthday girl get up on stage to dance and sing with the band with smoke effects!. Only complaint is that several times we venmoed money (as instructed) for song requests totaling $40 in requests and the songs were never played. MC said that the band only knows certain songs so they can’t do anything about not honoring paid song requests :(

Vineet Yalaka: Oh damn can't explain how much fun we had at this place. The Jell-O shots were crazy and the dance floor(which is opens around 11pm) opens up all new wonders. Best time to be at this place is after 10 in the night.

Wanda Brown: We visited mid afternoon for a late lunch. The place was only 1/2 full but the noice level was very high to the point of not being able to chat with my dining partner. I had the Shepherds Pie and was not impressed. I’m used to a pie with a meat gravy - the tomato paste was more predominant than the gravy flavor. In addition, the potatoes were very dry and lumpy vs the creamy smooth topping that I like. The Irish coffee was good!
T.J. Haas: Came in for a few drinks prior to airport departure back to Florida and stayed until last possible minute. Great staff all around and shared stories with manager of the day Jamie. Great atmosphere, staff, and band that started at 5pm.Ready for a return trip already and will absolutely be returning to The Black Rose for all it has to offer. Tanya Comeaux: Visiting Boston you have to go to an Irish Pub and order Fish and Chips. They had a live Irish band playing music and the atmosphere was A-1. As we sit enjoying the music a young lady comes to our table with the same monotone look (and later voice) that she had for the duration of our visit. I do not like monotone service. I will take at least 1 smile and 1 influx in your voice but none is absolutely a no for me. Only reason I gave her a 2 star is because she made me a good Arnold Palmer.We ordered Fish and Chips at an Irish Pub and just knew it would take us to Ireland. We got closer to Ireland at Captain Ds. We had crinkle fries that I buy from dollar tree for my grandkids and fried mushy haddock (could have been cod but would not have made it better) that just was not good.We are well traveled and huge foodies. We brought it to the attention of the staff but they friendly said we see what we can do and left it loudly. Justin Martin: Fantastic traditional Irish pub. The Shepherd's Pie is delicious, and every dish that I've tried has felt like it includes really quality ingredients. The whiskey and scotch selection is not extensive, but includes things I really like, so it works for me. Jessica Humphrey: Best cocktails around! The space is so luxe - ambient lighting, plush furniture, crystal glassware... a truly upscale experience. They have seasonal cocktails (as well as year-round), an extensive wine & liquor list, and food/snacks. It's the perfect place to relax with a cocktail and friends or a date. They also have spirit-free cocktail options which came in handy for my pregnant friend. I bring all my out-of-town guests here. We had a hard time finding it the first time - the doors to enter are right on Tremont street. Highly recommend!

J Z: If you want the best drinks in Boston look no further. This is an amazing bar with a better selection. If you are looking for something new and interesting try this place out. The food isn't half bad either doe nibbling and only big enough to share with 2 or 3 max. I would say to try the Milk Punch and all the drinks under the greens are amazing.

Many others and I sit at dirty tables for over an hour waiting for any waitstaff to come within shouting distance to bus dirty dishes, and take order. Still waiting...Drink and App order taken along with my card (up front) about 15 minutes ago. Still no drink (or app.)... Going to go to the bar with cash.They closed the kitchen before 9 with no warning so no dinner after the app. Here from 6-9+ and couldn't even order dinner. Took 2 hours to get served. Yes it was St Pat's but won't be back. O'Connor's in Worcester is 3x the size and capacity and their service puts this place to shame. Worth the drive, but get there and home safely & responsibly.

Shon Baranov: Bar was supposed to be closed for the Greatest Game night for people coming from PAX east but they have overfilled the bar with possibly university students to watch the March madness and all the people that were waiting from PAX have been placed in the corner with a small screen to play mario kart. We were promised to play it on their big screen. Owner knew he messed up and at least was able to give refund but really poor organization from the bar. Maybe they should learn something from the royale night club.

This was far from the truth. Most people paid 5-165 dollars for VIP tickets. There was absolutely no room in the bar and was not exclusive to pax east after party.Most people ( with tickets) stood in the rain for over an hour because they were letting in others without tickets.Bar should reimburse the people who spent money on tickets as most of them were unable to even get in the door nevermind order a drink.There is nothing great about this bar it is a scam.

However atmosphere is exactly what you can expect from a sports bar across the street from the garden. Happy people hockey highlights on every screen beer was cold staff were pleasant. Han: This place is a ****hole honestly. There have been numerous reports of people getting roofied here so watch your drink. The waitress was so rude and rolled her eyes when i asked for a water. Its dirty and i didnt even know they sell food but i feel bad for anyone that has eaten it. Between rude service, a cover charge, and a constantly sticky floor, i would recommend going to one of the other dozen of bars within walking distance.

Madison Dickison: My girlfriend and I were here last night while the bar was pretty busy. We, and many other women were approached by a weird man. Within 5 minutes, security came up to us and wanted to know what was said and if we felt safe and what the bar should do. I have never had security be so mindful of the experience of female customers, and never once been asked if someone is making me uncomfortable. I really appreciated it and know the security is actually doing their job. Thank you!!!:)

Stef Stone: After placing a drink order didn’t see the server for 20 mins which understand I come from the restaurant world, but usually you get someone to cover your tables, after this I placed my food order, and had to ask for water and was only brought one, then had to ask for another for my guest, which I wouldn’t drink after the waitress made a face that kinda warned me she would be the type to spit in my food/drink. Jayla Phillips: I absolutely loved this restaurant. It was my first time but we had great service the entire time, even when a Bruins game ended and the place became packed. The food was outstanding and it was easy to get to.Dietary restrictions: I am fully gluten free and this place is so good for that!! They asked if I had an allergy and they were very careful with my meal. The food itself was not even noticeably gluten free. There were also many gluten free options to choose from.
dfdsebastian: An amazing experience all around- especially grateful for Pierre as my daughter had a severe gluten intolerance with limited options around the Garden, he hooked us up and got us in quickly so we wouldn’t miss the show!! Awesome people, food, service and drinks!

Noam Zimhoni: Tempted to write a bad review just yo keep people off.Me and my partner was on Wednesday night. Staff was super nice. Food is good, the arugula salad and eggplant tacos are especially recommended. Menu cocktail we ordered was a bit too weird for my taste but we ordered some classics and they were great.
Daniel Zewde: Had the burger here a little over a week ago and cannot get over how juicy it was. One of the best burgers I've had since moving to Boston over a year ago. Oven fries were very good, too!

Jasper Baur: This brought me back to my college days. The dive-bar atmosphere immediately transported me into the social celebrations that preceded mid-term exams. Furthermore, the food options made me yearning for another bite! 10/10 would recommend!
Devon Langbein: A dive bar turned slightly upscale cocktail lounge that's probably a little too popular for its own good. I went on a Thursday at 5:30 PM for dinner and a few beers, sitting at the bar. By the time I left just before 7:00 PM, the place was already packed and it was difficult to maneuver around to make a bathroom run and then exit. If there were one of these on every corner in Boston, it probably wouldn't be such a problem, but unfortunately places like these are such a rarity in the City That Always Sleeps. I had tried to visit a few times prior to this visit, but on those occasions, it was too crowded to even get in. I like the atmosphere when it's chill, but it seems like that's hardly ever the case there. It's cash only FYI.

Shreya: Super cool bar! It’s small and has a dive bar vibe, it’s really fun tho! Theres lights up inside to add festivity and the staff was nice and attentive. Just be aware that the tortilla chips are pretty much just tortillas- not so much chips.

Sabrina Pilet-Jones: This was my first bar when younger and in my early 20's became my "home bar" the food is always delicious with fresh ingredients. What really makes this place special is the service .I haven't been there in about 5 years and went in today and the service was just as friendly and welcoming and the food was just as good!Space is small try on a weekday or Sunday if looking for less packed experience but either way you will be taken care of and feel at home! Will always love Deluxe!

Matthew Mulkern: This place is great. You get what you pay for. We came at 3pm and were served by DeeDee. She was great, didn’t know how much drinks cost but damn were they good. The funny thing is we can back at 1am and the bouncer said that DeeDee hasn’t worked here in ages. Not sure if DeeDee was a ghost but all in all a great experience. Highly recommend.

Fadi & Mai: Very nice neighborhood pub. Nice music and vibes, good beer, cheap prices, you can bring/order your own food, pool tables, darts.. I like it.
Gary Newman: Love this place! We came from Nova Scotia and the locals made us feel right at home. They chatted us up at the bar and played a few games of pool with us. Bartender was friendly and attentive. I 100% recommend this place and would come back.

Carl: My favorite bar in Boston. Everyone is talkative. Try out a game vs the pool regulars there, look up APA before though. Beers are cheap. Lara is a mix between a mother and a wild best friend, amazing. Haven't been here in a while, I hope its still open!
