Boston's Nails & Spa: what do users think?
Alyissa Li Brown: Love! Only place I go to for my pedicures
w m: emy is the sweetest she did an amazing job and made me feel very welcome and appreciated the staff are all very kind and check-in was extremely fast. this is definitely my new forever nail spotServices:Gel manicures,Manicure,Nail painting,Nail designs,Nail cut filing
Aleksandra Gavazova: I've been going to this salon for years but last weekend I had a TERRIBLE experience. I wanted to give my nails a brake from dip and gel so I got a simple manicure with regular polish but the technician had an attitude and didn't really care and did a TERRIBLE job. The nail polish was patchy, the corners of most of my nails didn't even have nail polish, there were pumps and little air pockets in the nail polish etc.. The service took over and hour and a half for a basic manicure. I literally wanted to cry after that session and on top of that the manger made a scene when I calmly expressed my discomfort with the results and embarrassed the technician in front of every body by loudly declaring that she did a terrible job. Not only that the manager didn't show any empathy whatsoever but ON TOP OF THAT she OVERCHANGED ME, for a simple regular polish manicure I paid $46.............
Dalia Shaker: Terrible experience at this nail salon. The receptionist (curly hair , mestizo lady) was incredibly rude and hostile. When I arrived, she was very unprofessional, dismissive and short-tempered, making me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. I would not recommend this salon to anyone, especially if you are looking for friendly and respectful customer service.
Yara Zraiqat: Always get my nails done here!! Love them. Wendy’s great!Services:Nail extensions,Nail painting,Nail designs,Nail art
Lauren Moore: Worst manicure I’ve ever had. Expensive and dirty inside. Please don’t give these people business.
Kelly Nguyen: Loved how my nails came out, so glad I found this place! Will be back for sure!
Doaa Zamzami: The receptionist was extremely rude and unprofessional not sure if it was racism or what. I literally was waiting for her to finish with her call so I can ask how long should we wait till we start our appointment because it was at 11:45 and we got pushed. Then she started giving me an attitude of how busy she is and that I should be more considerate huh !!!I’m literally never coming back, on top of her attitude she literally seated someone who had an appointment after me!
Aisha G.: Awful customer service , not very friendly at all. I was reminded of why I stopped coming in the first place . It should feel like a spa experience not like a chore .
Atsede Assayehgen: I came here for the first time in 2021 to get gel x extensions with a simple design and had a good experience. I believe it was Serena who did my nails. She was careful, consulted me along the way, and the nails lasted 4-5 weeks (as they should if done properly). I came again in late October 2022 and the experience was a lot worse. Wendy did my nails and she completely rushed the process after seating me late. She didn't do any cuticle maintenance (a first) and was extremely rough with my nails that there was some pain after. I also asked for a fairly simple design which wasn't done cleanly, when I would ask to fix a line she'd seem annoyed. The nails also only lasted about 2 weeks, so in all a disappointing experience.
Nicole Merced: I love this place! Designs always come out neat and they take their time. Staff is friendly and talented
Ana Dimco: Bryan is absolutely amazing, at both gel x and super talented for nail design. My nails lasted almost 4 weeks with no problem. It’s my new go to nail salon. It’s a bit pricier but with the quality it’s def worth itServices:Gel manicures,Nail art
Ren Lovegood: I’ve had a great few experiences so far. Quick and efficient, even for nail art, and easy to get an appointment. My dip nails have lasted up to 6 weeks when I’ve needed to travel for work or had to skip appointments because of a cold. Highly recommendServices:Gel manicures,Dip powder,Nail art,Pedicure
Monica M Nguyen (Therealmmn): This the bestest nail salon in Boston. Shape is always on point, lots of talented artists, lots of dip colors, lots of gel colors. Professional and efficient. My go to salon! Never disappoints!Services:Nail extensions,Manicure,Nail designs,Nail repair,Hand foot massages,Men's manicures,Gel manicures,Pedicure,Nail decals,Kids' manicures,Sculpted nails,Exfoliation,Nail cut filing,French manicures,Nail art,Synthetic nail removal,Polish removal,Nail painting,Waterless pedicures,Spa services,Nail polish changes,Dip powder,Stiletto nails,Acrylic nails,Callus removal,Foot massages
Caroline Connolly: Expensive & dirty. Paid $75 for the same service I typically pay $50 elsewhere for, nail station was a mess (nail clippings, hair) and not cleaned between sessions. When I asked for a clean towel the nail tech put down a paper napkin over the dirty one. Considered leaving but it was too late at night to fit in an appointment elsewhere and I was in dire need. Nail tech was very kind & did a fine job, but definitely not worthy of a $25 upcharge - unfortunately will not be going back.
saray g: this was my fourth time coming here and will sadly be my last. i went for gel x nails with almond shape, and i came out with straws for nails. he filed the sides of my nails down to my finger. i had felt at the beginning that they were extremely skinny and that they felt tight, but he just said that was normal and kept going. then he asked me if i wanted almond shape and I said yes. when I noticed they were extremely narrow I told him i did not want them filed down so much but he just laughed at me and said that this is how almond shape was. it is literally not. i have gotten them done with other people before there at the same establishment and it has been fine. by the time he told me if i wanted to fix them, they were all already glued and filed, i had another appointment at 2:30 and I could not wait around just for someone to fix a mistake that could have been prevented if he would have listened to me initially. i hate to be picky and i understand that these techs have experience in what theyre doing, but if im paying for a service, then i think it is reasonable for the customer to have a say in how they want their nails to look because now the sides of my fingers feel raw and i have a very preeminent feeling that i constantly have these nails on, which should not happen.i am very disappointed.
Lilly Saunders: I absolutely love this place -- I go every 2/3 weeks to fill in my acrylics and get a nail design. I've had many technicians there and they all pay so much attention to detail, are very accommodating, and are very spot on with nail art. The pricing is expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for, so it's justified. I've attached some of the designs I've gotten below for reference. I love going there and I recommend it to all my friends!!Services:Nail art,Acrylic nails
MaryRose Mazzola: I've been going to Boston's Nails and Spa since early 2016 and won't get my nails done anywhere else now! I've done regular gel, dip, and gel-x manicures and highly recommend them all. The team is so talented - they have been able to replicate every idea I've brought them. My manis last for weeks without any chips or issues. I recently moved out of the city and still travel downtown to get my nails done here.Services:Nail extensions,Gel manicures,Pedicure,Dip powder
Brenna Donovan: I’ve been in here multiple times and highly recommend it to anyone looking for some amazing nail art!Services:Nail art,Acrylic nails
Paris Ramos: I wasn’t told there would be a charge for taking off my nails prier or the amount that would even be I originally wanted ombré but no where on the website it says they don’t do that so I found that out on arrival, I changed the design for a sold color and a small line design on both ring fingers I ended up paying 250 when on the website it said around 150 my nails are not worth that price I was never asked how long I wanted my nails when starting I asked many times for sharp pointed nails I got almonds almost circled at the end of it and tiny short nails it was my first time ever getting gel nails so I didn’t know the process and I also felt I received someone who was still training that’s fine and all but it should be spoken to the client or in the website so we can make the choice because I have friends that come to this shop with amazing nails and only costing them 115 for long nails as well and I just left feeling I got ripped off I still tipped because the woman was really nice we had communication problems but you can tell she was nervous she dropped many items and even ripped her gloves when using the machine also not her fault but the color selection for the gels are so small you really have to pick a color that you probably don’t want in the first place, idk I’m not the happy with my nails or experience nothing was even explained to me the process where I can properly ask the right questions she just always did the next thing giving me no time to say anything and I had full acrylic long dagger nails before with crazy designs and paid so much cheaper I’m not sure if I’ll ever be back here honestlyService:Nail extensions
Lisa Witkowski: This morning, I thought it was the worst thing ever to be from out of town and have to guess based on a few reviews where to go for this kind of service. Now I understand that the worst thing is to live in New York and not be able to get my nails done here more often. Cindy did amazing work on my gel extensions! Such beautiful shaping, such attention to detail. I am in love with my nails. In LOVE!

Ruby's Nails: what do users think?
karengaytan: Q did a fabulous job! I’m not from here so I was scared to go to a nail salon but I had a wonderful experience at Ruby’s. My nail tech, Q, took his time and was gentle. I got a dip set. I love the shape and pricing was good. I would definitely come back if I lived in this state!
Valerie Orellana: I love Ruby's Nails! I have gone for over a year now and they do not disappoint. Terry is the best!
Michael Morris Jr.: My first salon experience for pedicures & eyebrow waxing - LOVED LOVED LOVED my experience here and the technicians… Though I’ve moved away since graduating, I ALWAYS make it a PRIORITY to squeeze in a visit to this salon whenever I’m in town…
Nam acharya: Love this place, so quick and friendly. If you are loyal to them they return that same loyalty to you! Always have a good experience, have been here for nails, waxes. Even after moving away I will travel and go here every time!
Ava Ouhadi: The people are super friendly and they all put a lot of care and effort into their work. They weren’t rough with my nails at all and they were all just super nice.
Samantha Antona: The only place my dip manicure always lasts 3 weeks. Make sure to call ahead for an appointment!
Iman Ahmed: Services:Manicure,Acrylic nails
Roseanne Sanzi: They are very professional friendly and they do good work
Nihala Razack: I had a great experience with the nail techs here! Loanna did exactly what I wanted when I showed her the inspiration picture! I’ve been to a lot of nail salons in Boston but I like this one the most. Very clean and has a good atmosphere!Services:Acrylic nails,Manicure
Jackie Turner: I originally had a negative experience with my nails but the salon quickly reached out to resolve the issue and did an amazing job!Services:Dip powder,Manicure
Carolyn Hoffman: The quality of work here is amazing and always consistent. I get regular pedicures and gel manicures.
Andrea Bradshaw: Tiffany does an excellent job with nail art and the application of the acrylic!! Book her!!
Caro V: They’re okay. Had to go home and fix the length & cuticle
Danielle R: I’ve been here 3 times and have had all great experienced. This was my first time getting a design with a gel manicure and I was so happy with how it came out. The people I have met here have all been so kind, patient, and talented. Can’t say enough good things about this salon.
Mineola Diaz: They did awesome with the dip powder on my hands the pedicure not so great. The highest price I ever paid for a pedicure at 33$ plus tip and I feel like I didn’t even get my feet done. The back of my feet weren’t scrubbed and was left dry and hard. I was so disappointed I don’t know if I’ll return for a pedicure. I like my feet smooth and soft after a pedicure mind you my feet are in pretty good shape it’s not like they had much to do. If there not going to put effort into scrubbing your heals they shouldn’t charge so much.Services:Dip powder,Pedicure
mandouetseb: First time at Ruby’s: it was just perfect!First, the place is clean, they have the needed sanitary rules and it is comfortable. Then, I had pedi with Vee and mani with Kelly… both friendly and very patient and meticulous. They did a great job and I’m so happy and proud of the result!!!Merci beaucoup :-)
Teresa Tucci: Positive:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,ValueTerry did such an amazing job!!!Services:Nail art,Acrylic nails,Manicure
Priyanka Pande: Staff is super friendly and fast!Limited seating. Ambiance is ok-ok
Grace Toledo-Kerr: Love Dip nails instead of acrylics. Tell them u heard about it from big light skinned girl named Grace lol. They will take good care of u. The pedicure chair is fabulous with the full back massage.
lav h: Great. Terrie is awsome
DAYSA LOPEZ: Services:Pedicure,Foot massages,Eyelash extensions,ManicurePositive:Professionalism,Punctuality

Supreme Nails: what do users think?
Syrene Reilly: I have been going here almost 2 years for regular mani pedi an occasional facial. They always take their time and never rush. Though I do not order any special treatment, they massage, use scrubs, and hot rocks, especially if they know you as a good customer. I have a problematic toe nail that is prone to pinching and ingrowing, and they always do what is needed to make it right. A mani/pedi for $50-$60 in Boston is a great deal. Be warned, they have a high preference for cash payments.Services:Manicure,Pedicure,Facial treatments
Tyler K C: Positive:Cleanliness,Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,ValueReally friendly service, good value. I love my nails and my friend said it was the best pedicure she’s ever had. Will be back :)Services:Gel manicures,Pedicure
andrea morales: Positive:Cleanliness,Professionalism,Punctuality,QualityExcellent service and quality!!! I needed someone to fix a botched dip manicure, Le was incredibly patient and careful to not damage my nails any further, and she did an incredible job applying a new set. Super friendly and clean, i loved her HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!Service:Dip powder
Christopher Gillett: Terrible service
Jessi L: Excellent costumer service and throughout job!#nailsonpoint#nailspaday#feetmassage#Manicure#pedicure
Gary Snavely: Called and they quoted $35.00 for a "Spa Pedicure" just like it's stated on the website. After service she charged me $40.00 on my credit card. I questioned the amount and she said it was to clean!??? Is that not what a pedicure is for? Beware: Confirm the price before you begin!!! Pedicure was average at best, nothing to write home about...
Highly Productive: They did a really amazing Job. Try to get there a little early so you can find meter parking. Pricey but worth it.
Carolyn Ross: I want to love this place. It's convenient, has lots of color options, and they do a thorough job on the manicure. But my manicurist was so rough and made every single cuticle bleed with the dremel. Not only is it painful, but it can't be hygienic either.
Nicole Brown: Love this place! Kay always does my nail perfect
Medjina Occean: Positive:Cleanliness,Professionalism,Punctuality,ValueThe nail tech was nice and did a great job with my pedicure! Love the massage chair-highlight of my time at this nail salon.Services:Pedicure,Manicure

Nails On Huntington: what do users think?
Mrinalini Ravikumar: Wendy doesn't do the best job with my nails. I've had to stop coming because when I book with Eda (who does a good job with my nails) on the website, I'm always sent to Wendy for some reason?
Shooka Es: Very un respectfulThey did a powder manicure for me , less than two weeks after, my nail was broken underneath and bleeding, they said they are busy and can’t help and hung the phone on me.Services:Pedicure,Manicure
Anna Beck: I went here for the first time, place was so dirty they didn’t clean up from the person before me, so rough with my fingers, stabbing and twisting my fingers, painted all around my nail and left polish on my nails, every nail was a different shape. Never ever go here.Service:Gel manicures
Cecilia Cormier: The business was really clean, the person who did my pedicure was very nice. The experience was lovely and my nails look great!Service:Pedicure
Michelle Colon: Just terrible Service! I came through recommendation from friend specifically for design’s. I get here the person who does design not on. Fine do plain I’m here I said I had overlay on hands she said fine’. As feet are soaking another tech says sorry she only does regular manicure & pedicure so she ca. not do your hand’s. Ok I’ll wait for someone else sorry we can’t not do for you” we are booked with appointments. Like what!! no!! Not okay’ . I should be served especially when I was clear walking in.Services:Gel manicures,Pedicure,Nail designs,Manicure
Juanita Saenz: Just left Nails On Huntington and this was not a relaxing experience. My appointment was for dip manicure and gel pedicure. I received a call from her asking me to come in early and well... she finished early with me too. My toes nails came out fine but no massage or scrub was done. I told her I wanted my toes and finger nails to match the dip color sample I chose. A colleague of hers found a perfect gel match to the sample. As she was doing my fingers I told her that the dip was not the same color as the sample and she did nothing to fix it. She said it was fine because she likes it because it looks natural. If I wanted natural I wouldn't get dip or any polish for that matter. She used the Dremel to remove my cuticles after the dip polish. My cuticles weren't raised until she used the Dremel. A couple of fingers bled and I had to ask her to remove the hardened dip from my finger prints when she was rushing to check me out. The Dremel bits aren't even sanitized. She put back the ones she used with me back with all the others. I honestly regret tipping and not reading reviews about the nail tech before coming in.Services:Pedicure,Dip powder
Saeedah Almu: The worst service ever. I asked for a regular cleaning and it was baaaaaad and they do know how to shape the nails and I paid 53$ For a bad service. I don’t recommend it at all.Services:Pedicure,Manicure
Majd Al Suqri: Had a walk in to remove my gel manicure and they were able to accommodate me. It wasn’t crowded and everyone was wearing a mask. The place looks clean. I ended up getting a regular manicure too, which doesn’t look bad. I just felt like it was rushed and it doesn’t look very clean. I’d also enjoy it a lot more if my cuticle wasn’t bleeding:( other than that it’s just okay
Rachel Bacon: I agree with the other reviewers - depending on the tech, the work is either really consistent or it's all over the place. They're convenient, good for basics, have good availability - so for that I rate them as acceptable. The decor is very cute. The one thing about scheduling that's irritating is that if I book online I'm almost always guaranteed a call the day of asking if I can come in earlier...it's frustrating to not have my request be honored (why put my choice as an option then?), this happened twice in a row with one tech in particular and I was so frustrated I just canceled.Services:Gel manicures,Pedicure,Manicure
Johanna Masferrer: Ive been here 3 times. The first time I did my nail with Eda. She did great and I tried booking with her but was seen by Wendy (even though I chose to book with Eda on the website). They had called me before my appointment asking if I wanted to come in earlier, I agreed. The third time I went I again was called and told that Wendy's customer had booked and if I could come early. I booked my appointment in advance so I didn't want to come in early given I had things to do. When I arrived things were okay but towards the end of my service her client showed up and she rushed me out. Leaving nails polish all over my finger nails. The polish looked lumpy and not good. I try to tip well and I spend my hard earned money but not to be treated in that way. I am a young woman but I don't think it's okay to be taken advantage of. If I can post pictures I will.
Rita Youssef: Very convenient location and lovely staff!
Muskan Patel: Great salon, friendly staff, and affordable prices. I had an appointment with Wendy for a dip manicure. Would not book her again. Nails were all filed unevenly, with one nail longer than the other. The whole manicure was done in about 20 minutes when it should have taken longer. She was also not gentle with the nail drills, making me bleed once. White dip nail also discolored into an ivory color almost within 24 hours. Definitely not worth the price. Glad I ended up cancelling my pedicure.Services:Manicure,Dip powder
Mary Murphy: Getting my nails done is a treat for me and not something I can do often. I unfortunately had a miserable experience here and my anxiety was too much to even say anything at the time. I got a full set and paid $70. The nail tech was incredibly rushed and messy. The nails are shorter than what I asked for, uneven, and super thick. She didn't bother to push my cuticles back so the nails already look a week old. There's bumps and smudges. She didn't clean the backs at all. Plus whatever she rubbed on my hands smelled awful. So I left feeling anxious, smelling bad, and with the worst manicure I have literally ever gotten. Can't believe I paid and tipped for this disgusting service.
Abeba Beyene: I had the worst experience there. They overcharged me and the nail got broken the next day. Never go there.Service:Acrylic nails
Paloma Sanchez: I had to walk out of that place with my nails looking like this. Wendy thought she was gonna sit there and pry my 3 week old, acrylic nails off with a cuticle clipper because soaking them off “takes too long”. Mmmm nope I think not. So unprofessional.Service:Acrylic nails
Michelle Robbins: Eda was fantastic. Just enough conversation but not too much that I was overwhelmed. Her attention to detail was fantastic. Business was very clean and welcoming, good temperature, clear prices. Booking on their website was easy.
Ariell Small: Positive:Cleanliness,Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,ValueMy-Tran is the best. She's very professional and so sweet. It's always a great experience when I get my nails done by her. Each time I've gotten many compliments on my nails.Services:Acrylic nails,Nail art,Gel manicures
Cera Are: Critical:Professionalism,QualityWendy did a terrible job. These are hard gel w/ tips $60. The pictures say it all. Also, she used a dremel to remove my cuticles. They look awful. Literally every nail is lumpy. I will never go back to this shop. This is the worst manicure of my life, I'm so disappointed.Service:Gel manicures
Diana Zlotnikova: Critical:Cleanliness,QualityGot gel manicure, the lady was very rough with my nails, the whole process hurt a lot. Every single nail ended up being different length and shape. My fingers were bleeding and a few days later I got a nail infection for the first time in my life. Stay away!Service:Gel manicures
P M: Critical:QualityWendy is fast but does not give consistent good quality. The other hand looks great however, the hand pictured not so much.Service:Gel manicures

PURITY NAIL BAR: what do users think?
Amy Bouzaglo: Horrible horrible service. They blocked my number and blocked my email for doing absoltuly nothing. I had an appointment today and I had to dm them (since my number is blocked) to confirm and they cancled my appointment. Now I’m left going to a wedding with bare fingers. Do not go there.
Kate Lewis: HORRIBLE!!!!! Wish I could give it ZERO stars. First they charged me over $77 for Gel Acrylics which is honestly insane. After the first day my nails were separating from the gel and after 3 days my nail had broken off. I went back to ask them to fix it and they made me pay extra. Never coming here again.Services:Gel manicures,Acrylic nails
Nicole Bongiovanni: GEL X MANICURE REVIEW. This is the best nail salon I’ve found in Boston. It is modern, clean, and everyone is so friendly. I got a gel x manicure for the first time and John was incredible. Not only was he extremely skilled at this process, he was so nice and patient with me, and knowledgeable as well. You could tell he knew what he was doing and I trusted him completely. I finally found my favorite nail salon and will be sticking with it and John permanently.
Reynica C: I got my nails done on Wednesday and the very next day on Thursday one of my nails chipped . I called the salon Friday to go and fix it Saturday. I didn’t even have my nails done for a full week. I go to this place all the time. I add dipping powder to my real nails . Since the top of my nail chipped she added extension to that one nail to fix the chipped part and just because an extension had to be added the front desk lady who I think is the owner said I had to pay 3 dollars.Seriously 3 dollars and told me I’m the one who broke my nail and was rude when I was trying to explain that I only had my nails done for a less than 24 hours when it chipped. She would not let me talk and started talking over me and said it was my fault. I’ve never heard of this . She kept saying it’s the extension to that one nail but what did she want me to do, get it fixed and have the length of that one nail be shorter than all the others. The fact that she was so rude about it made it worst. I’ve gone to many nail salons and I’ve had to pay for a chipped nail if it’s been over a certain timeframe . But one nail chipping less than 24 hours and had to argue with me for 3 dollars is unheard of . Worst experience I’ve had with them today. And I do get my nails done there almost every 2 weeks. It’s not about the money I think this is about learning customer service and not to start accusing customers who are trying to have a honest conversations. I think if she was actually nice I would have no issue but to be out right rude to a loyal customer just left me sad .Services:Dip powder,Nail repair
Sarah Ong: Purity was recommended to me by a friend when I first moved here and I’ve never been anywhere else since. They do such an amazing job (especially with designs) no matter who does them, unlike a lot of other salons. They also always keep their appointments and send text reminders so you don’t forget.
Kara Mitola: I absolute love Purity nails, their scheduling is accommodating and in the interest of the client always! Every design I bring in, they match perfectly! They take their time and never let you leave without a big smile!Service:Acrylic nails
Evelin Rojas: I’ve been coming to Purity Nail Bar since they opened and I have had the best experience with all their staff every single time. From pedicure, to gel mani, acrylic and dip. The final product is always beautiful and just what I asked for.The owners are extremely nice and professional, and very attentive with their customers.Would definitely recommend time and time again.
Pamela Bailey: I remember the times when I would come to Purity, and the customer service was not always up to par. I always felt like the manager along with the workers were bias and would up charge for simplistic things as if one wouldn't notice. I would like for you all at Purity to take the time to admit when you are not being kind, and when you are being rude to your customers because you truly never know who it is that you catering to. Being that this nail salon is the closest one to a University many students often come here in hopes to just feel good and get their services done without someone catering to them with an attitude or some sort of disrespect. Just like you all want to be respected, it truly goes both ways! Be well.
Rachel Frankenfield: Absolutely excellent. Great nail techs, so many colors, different tiers of service available (for example multiple kinds of pedicures), various discounts (for paying in cash or combining multiple services). Generally easy street parking in front. Website is up to date, modern, and shows all prices.
Melissa Brathwaite: I absolutely love this place what a hidden gem! Very neat and clean everyone there is respectful and professional I've been going here for about a year now and I always leave satisfied Bo is my nail tech. Super nice aims to please and always does an amazing job and I'm picky 😝 I prolly drive Bo crazy lol...but Bo has a skill that is always on point I definitely recommend this place go see Bo!!Service:Dip powder
Phuong Vo: Very clean and ProfessionalServices:Nail art,Pedicure,Gel manicures
Phuong Tran: Services:Back massages,Nail art,Pedicure,Callus removal,Brazilian waxing,Acrylic nails
Berlindyne Elie: I’ve been going to this nail salons for six years. The quality of the manicures and pedicures are good however they provide extremely rude, passive aggressive, racist, poor customer service. The owner of the store is the main actor. I have been a bystander to her interactions with other customers in person and on the phone and she blatantly has no regard for human decency and respect. She raises her voice, uses sarcasm and coerces customers into compliance. She is completely arbitrary on whether or not she enforced a deposit policy and the pricing fluctuates from before and after your appointment. She gets extremely defensive and raises her voice to intimidate you in response to any feedback. I encourage all Boston College students to seek service else where despite its convenience.
Alexandra Uy: When I tried to set up my first appointment for a pedicure, the woman who answered asked for a deposit of $20 - something I’ve never had to do with any other nail salon including the nicer ones within the Boston area. So I used the Venmo purchase protection to send the money only for her to yell at me that I shouldn’t have done that because she said “it’s not a business, it’s her personal”. She did refund me the money but told me I couldn’t set up my appointment. This was about a week ago and I tried to call again today to see if I could try again but my phone number has been blocked by them. I figured she was just having a bad day but I guess it’s more than that and she’s just rude.
Melody Jin: This is my second time coming in and I had a really great experience! John does a really good job and he has great tastes! He offers good suggestions and listens to what I really want. Reasonable price and good services! I absolutely love it!
Anna: I used to go to this nail salon regularly for about a year. The services were good, salon was clean, and most of the nail technicians were professional and friendly. However, I can no longer support because of the way the owner treats clients — new or long-standing. She has provided 0 space for feedback (just read the responses to the comments below). I have witnessed her interactions with other customers and heard her talk to others , on the phone and in person while in the shop. The cancellation or late policy is not understanding — which was the final straw for me. If you are late (even with notice) or have to cancel same day (no matter the circumstance), they will ban you from booking appointments in the future. Protecting your business is one thing, but your customers are human too and deserve at least the minimal amount of grace. The only thing that kept me from posting this prior was fear that I would be banned from the salon in case I needed to return. With all due respect, I sincerely hope you start listening to clients and can learn from feedback rather than getting defensive — it will only help your business if you wish to grow. Clients experiences in your salon matter, whether you agree with them or not.
Lulu A: If I could give a zero I would. The manager is extremely rude and racist. The people who work there are nice. As a person of color I would not recommend this place. The manager treated every white person nice but when it came to me she was not a nice person. I’ve been going there for a few month. My dip powder chipped with every set. So I said let me try a gel, that came off the next day. I do not live close to the salon so I called the manager to let her know my gel set came off and could I receive a discount on my next service and she basically cussed me out for that. I wonder would she talk to her white customers like that. Every interaction I had with her was cold and I would watch her smile with her white customers. Ppl of color Do not support this salons!!!!!Service:Dip powder
Gina Y: My favorite nail salon in Boston! The work is very clean and everyone’s super professional and efficient. Quinn and Leah are amazing. Prices are reasonable, too.
Marissa Gillis: Gel X nails last a long time and always look good (:
Carixxxa: I got a deluxe pedicure with gel and it felt very rushed and it wasn't clean at allServices:Pedicure,Foot massages
christine melton: Always accommodate , even last minute booking. The massage with service is so amazing!

Tinailery: what do users think?
Dorothy Loren: I could not have been happier with my experience here! I am used to going to regular nail salons where manicures take 30 minutes, and this was a huuuuuuge upgrade in terms of both time spent with you and end result. Ting Ting is a perfectionist like me and made my nails look gorgeous. I will definitely be back!Service:Manicure
Dolphia Arnstein: It might be the best place to get nails done but one can never book an appt. If they pick up phone, they don’t want to speak and phone has too much static noise to hear. I am texting them almost a week and I still can’t get a appt.
Rebecca Chen: First time after COVID to do my nail. So glad I came here. The environment of the new store is fantastic. Their professional is not to say. The service and technique are top-notch. Though my nails are mini and round, Phoebe helped me make a great pattern. LOVE IT!
Sophia Sun: The best gel manicure with Phoebe! Definitely come here if you want to treat yourself to a high-quality manicure. Phoebe is incredibly detail-oriented and talented. I felt taken care of and pampered! Would definitely come back and recommend.Service:Manicure
S Joseph: Well, I have mixed feelings here. Typically, I would rave about Tinailery. Phoebe, Mia, and Cami are wonderful artists. However, recently I spent nearly $300 on my nails only to be serviced by a tech who said no to all my asks, did what she wanted to do, and the nails fell apart three days later. Currently, I am still waiting for them to make it right given they promised I can get my nails done to my liking at no extra charge.I am still waiting for a call back nearly three weeks laterOn another occasion, I booked a $12 nail fix appointment and was charged a $40 deposit. I canceled the appointment within their allotted time and they failed to give me my refund. When I called to point this out they told me the manager was unavailable and this went on for two weeks. I gave up and considered it a tip.I am not sure if they are worth the heavy cost anymore. I'll update you guys as to whether or not they have honored their word concerning my most recent issue.Update: Once again, Phoebe saved the day. I received an email concerning my complaint aimed at making me the culprit for their poor planning and lack of oversight. However, Phoebe personally text me and offered repair service and delivered. Will I return? Yes, until Boston gets more competitive Japanese nail salons and artists, I have no choice. But, I’ll no longer refer or be extremely generous with my tips. The manager is non existent or responsive and Phoebe (as well as Mia) can’t be held responsible for everything that goes on—it’s unfair to them.
Shrunothra Ambati: Phoebe was amazing! It was my favorite manicure I’ve ever gotten. Love the care and effort she took to make my nails look fantastic
Marcie Londono: I have never had such a beautiful manicure. I wish you would open a spot in Miami. :) Thank you for such a beautiful job.Service:Gel manicures
Carolina M. S.: I love the place and the service!
Adriana Nevers: Wonderful place! I got THE BEST Mani Pedi! So relaxing and great service! My nails look beautiful! Thank you! 👍🏼💅
Yijing Gao: Not durable at all! My three fingers were cut!
Ashley Gehsmann: Just stopped in to have my gel polish removed. Receptionist was so friendly and quick, and the manicurist really took her time. It seems they really take pride in the work done at this salon. My nails look so clean, thanks!
Kay J: Definitely my favorite nail salon in Boston! They take great care into creating flawless manicure and pedicures. My gel manicure usually last 3-4 weeks and I always get compliments on them, especially when I get nail art.
Mary Kate Tracey: Phoebe did an amazing job with my nails! She was so meticulous and it was absolutely worth the time. Would 100% recommend if you're looking for a stunning, high quality manicure!
Barrett Weed: I love this place! Definitely a hidden gem for those of us who love nail art and gel extensions. I ended up back home in Boston due to the pandemic, but normally I live in NYC and get my nails done at a Japanese salon there…Tinailery is the only place I’ve found in Boston where they can do all the really beautiful, meticulous, niche art I’ve been seriously missing. All of the artists are trained in Asia and they’re just on another level. The appointments take TIME- it’s not a normal nail salon- they want everything to be perfect and it will be. The photo attached is extensions with tinted clear gel and gold leaf.Service:Nail art
Elizabeth: Stopped in for a gel mani and spa pedi on a Saturday while on a business trip. They fit me in immediately despite being very busy. Mia did my mani, and was meticulous, gentle, and patient. She checked the length multiple times and made adjustments so that everything was even and straight with no burrs. I don't pamper myself often, but this is the best manicure I have ever received.Candice did my spa pedi and, let's be honest, feet are gross...but some are worse than others. Mine were tired, hurting, calloused, and neglected. I feel so much better now, and my feet look so much happier and more hygienic. All the staff were polite and kind, no cuticle shaming or comments about the condition of my dry hands or calloused heels. Just excellent service and great skill. Facility was clean and nicely decorated. Music was a relaxing mix of chill pop, R&B, with a touch of indie. All prices are clearly posted on the website with time estimates for their services.I highly recommend Tinailery - this was a great experience and I feel thoroughly pampered!
Lisarleth Perez: Best foot massage ever!
Isa Chen: The worst experience ever服務超差
Barbara Gurgel: If you see my reviews you’ll see that I’ve reviewed a lot of nail salons. This place is the best I’ve attended in a really really long time. If you’re looking for a quick 45 min mani this is not the place for you. Be ready to luxuriate for a while as your nail tech meticulously gives you an incredible set of nails. Highly recommend Phoebe.Services:Manicure,Gel manicures
Sae: Critical:Professionalism,Punctuality,Quality,Value
Amanda Tassinari: Clean, friendly, thorough. Best mani pedi I’ve ever had! Worth paying a bit more 100%
Carley Cotter: This is the only place in Boston I'll get my nails done anymore. It's definitely a little more expensive and takes a little longer, but I've never had a more thorough job. The gel lasts so long with no chips and no lifting, generally for me at a faster/cheaper salon the gel will lift after a week. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a quality manicure.I also love that they have online booking on their website, it's so easy. For nail art I think you generally have to make the appointment in person so they know what to schedule you out for time wise, but I've always been satisfied with the quality of their nail art. They definitely practice quality over quantity, so this won't be the type of place that can do a manicure in 20 minutes on your lunch break. But a perfect treat after work or on the weekends on relax.Services:Nail art,Pedicure,Gel manicures,Manicure

Fantasy Nails: what do users think?
Jessica Tay: I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve never complained ever Adam does an amazing job with my nail designs but the acrylic starts chipping off the same day if you’re like me always washing my hands if you know someone who put nails on perfectly go to them and then go Adam for the design because he’s only good at doing designs… do not get your toes done here they don’t clean anything and my toes got infected right after getting my toes done to the point my toes are still healing I can’t even wear my sneakers they don’t sanitize anythingServices:Nail designs,Nail art,Manicure,Polish removal,Dip powder,Nail painting,Pedicure,Gel manicures,Stiletto nails,Nail repair,Nail polish changes,Acrylic nails,Nail extensions
Delia Smith-Davis: My experience at this nail salon was marvelous . I am satisfand with AdamI recommend everyone to go to fantasia nail .
Trina B.: Friendly staff, affordable, does not have great color selections. Very outdated.Services:Manicure,Hand foot massages,Pedicure,Acrylic nails
Kristen Niccoló Lafferty: These are probably some of the worst acrylics I have ever had. He did minimal prep work to the nails before starting. He didn't dust off the nails after prepping them. I can see the debris stuck between my nail and the acrylic when I look under. There was acrylic and gel that were on my skin around the nails. He seemed like he was rushing. I had to ask him to re-file my nails because the shape was completely crooked. The nails are also on completely crooked. Lastly (and most importantly), he used fake nails that were much smaller than my nail, so my natural nails are sticking out of the side. I am very disappointed with them.
Emari rileyhowe: Absolutely love it. They’re so talented especially Adam and Nina(I go to her all the time) they can mostly do any style and any design . You do have to book an appointment ahead of time though
Lillian G: My experience is always good every time.
Josephine Pettigrew: I hate writing negative reviews but I was really unsatisfied with the nail art done on my nails. It was done really sloppily and not what I had asked for in the picture I showed. Also, I don’t know if she just wanted me to leave quickly but at the end she didn’t ask me to wash my hands before putting lotion. So she basically gave me my lotion “massage” with all the nail dust all over my hand. They seem like kind people with lots of loyal customers but really hope they can do something about their cleanliness. The one thing I would say is that the acrylic was applied well.Services:Manicure,Acrylic nails,Nail art
Yariely R: It was my first time coming here and I must say they did an amazing job. My nail tech was called Nina she made sure my nails were even, was very generous and did my nail exactly how I wanted them. The nails only costed 40 dollars which is a very reasonable price other nail salon would probably charge more. I will definitely be coming back again I totally recommend!
Janell Jefferson: Positive:Cleanliness,Professionalism,Punctuality,QualityThe Hospitality is wonderful me and my family have been going to them for years and we never have anything bad to say about there business. Theh meet everyone's standards after they do an amazing job when it comes to the type of nails people want. I would definitely continue to go back to themServices:Manicure,Acrylic nails
Aveann Bridgemohan: Friendly, clean and my nails lasted 4 weeks
Joy squares: Not impressed with my gel nails. Nail tech could have done a neater job.
Vanessa Higginbottom: Adam is best nail tech he has been doing my nails over 10 yrs.
hon3ybuds: I should have left this review a long time ago, but here it is. Firstly I’ve been to this nail salon a few times before and had no issues, the service was great. The nail artist were detailed, specifically the male artist that works here. My cousin who has been a regular to this salon for years told me about this nail salon because of the awesome nail art they do. We both have spent hundreds of dollars getting our nails done here and unfortunately the last and final time I went to fantasy nails, the male artist and staff were extremely rude and unprofessional towards me. I had called in previously before I travelled by train to the salon, to ask if they did clear gel nails which they said they did. I asked if there was availability and they said yes to come in and I’d be all set. My plan was to get my nails done before going on my vacation the next day. I was traveling to a hotel in Boston that day to catch the shuttle to the airport the following day, so I had a backpack and duffle bag in my possession. I travelled all the way down to the salon, walked with all my bags and when I got there they immediately turned me away and gave me dirty looks because of all the stuff I was carrying. I don’t know why but I feel like they thought I was homeless and just wanted somewhere to go or something? I had told them I had called in before and they told me they didn’t do gel nails and then I said ok that’s fine I can just get regular acrylics and they basically said no sorry find somewhere else to go we can’t take you. I was in disbelief because I had spoken to the male staff member before I had wasted my money traveling all the way down to the salon. They were extremely rude and I felt discriminated against. I was dressed well and very polite, there was no reason why I should have been turned away other then I suspect they thought I was a homeless person but I was merely a person who wanted to get their nails down before their vacation and heading to their hotel…fortunately I ended up finding another salon that was super welcoming and friendly. I called them up made an appointment and took a $50 Lyft all the way to the other salon from fantasy nails. It was well worth it as I was tired of walking around with my luggage and had made the long journey to fantasy nails, just to be turned away and treated like I was unwelcome or wouldn’t have the money to pay for their service or something. Overall this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a nail salon and I would never again recommend this salon to anyone. I was also surprised that the staff hadn’t remembered me from going with my cousin in the past who is a regular like I stated before. It really sucks because they staff were super sweet to my cousin and I when we went together so I was excited to go to this salon and have my nails done that day. I never expected to get treated so horribly and be told to leave and find another salon even though I had spoken to them on the phone beforehand and they were so kind like they had always been. Just a fair warning if you go here you might be turned away and treated rudely for no reason. It was very embarrassing to say the least how I was turned away and I am ashamed to say I ever gave them my hard earned money in the past or recommended them to friends.
