Mastro's Ocean Club: what do users think?
Marcus M.: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5More
Matthew Crevier: The drinks were good, but the food was mediocre. This restaurant is extremely overpriced. This was one of the most expensive restaurants I've ever been to.The steak was bland - no flavor at all. Steak cost $195.The brussle sprouts were good. The seafood tower was what likely gave me food poisoning. I was sick all night when my wife and I got back home. The music was too loud. The service was great. Very attentive waitstaff.
MarkRenee Otto: I rate it a 4 because I want to come back again one day and then I will be able to compare my visits. From the live music to the experience you have it was a good time. Oh my, the food was delicious to every bite. I had the ribeye (i did not want to see anything red but then not burnt and it came out just how I ordered it along with perfection and love). We shared the side: garlic mash potatoes, broccoli, asparagus and Brussel spouts. No complaints there also 👌.Our server knew what she was talking about and she was super friendly. The staff was nice and they even dished out some of the sides onto our meat plate. Of course they asked you 1st and I loved it. I felt spoiled and I enjoyed the treatment and respect from all staff.I will come back again when it's even warmer out. Thanks for a fun filled Friday night.Parking: You pay before going in and they handle the rest.
John Greguoli: Overpriced. Oversold by waiter. Doesn’t take the Landry’s card. You lost my business.
Jennifer Rosario: Muy bien ambiente, la cena estuvo riquísima 😍😍😍Parking: El valet parking muy atento brinda buen servicio

Amaber De Los Santos: I had a great time at Mastros Ocean Club. I went over for a friends birthday dinner and the staff and food were excellent.
Rebecca Petry: The food was absolutely incredible and Alexis took outstanding care of our party of 10 he was so kind, attentive, and helpful. We enjoyed a variety of the menu offering and enjoyed them all!
Edcar Johnson: Dinner was exquisite. The setting is fabulous. Very chic, mellow toned environment. Servers are very accomodating and food is delicious.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
William Perkin: This was a special occasion. We sat at a comfortable table away from the busy bar. The seating was very comfortable and our server Gabbie was wonderful. The food was really good and well prepared. The only thing I could not help but notice was the dress code was not maintained. It was a Saturday night and there were patrons in tee shirts and pro sports jerseys. This took away from the experience I expected. I could have worn sweatpants and a sweat shirt…overall it was a nice evening.Parking: Great valet service. Quick and easy

fln1002: I was in town for a conference and a friend recommended we try this place. It's delicious!!! Fresh seafood, delicious steaks, and the best lobster mashes potatoes! Paul Kfoury: Been to this location and the one in DC several times and have always been impressed… however, severely dissatisfied this time around. In terms of service, it use to be top notch, but tonight was pretty disastrous - maybe an off night? Maybe understaffed? The waiter we had was nice enough, but we had to wait like 45 minutes between our apps and our steaks. We were sitting for so long that by the time the mains finally came out, we weren’t even hungry anymore. For food, we started with oysters on the half, tuna tartare, and the Maguro lime sushi roll. Can’t really mess up oysters, and the sushi was tasty. The tartare is always presented beautifully but seemed very bland tonight. Don’t get me wrong, it was fresh, just missing salt or something. For the main, we ended up getting the 22oz bone-in ribeye with the white cheddar lobster Mac & cheese, truffle butter mushrooms, and roasted Brussels sprouts with bacon. Steak cooked perfectly as expected. Mushrooms and Brussels sprouts were tasty. For a side dish, didn’t think the lobster Mac was worth the $40 price tag - not really much lobster and kinda “plain” tasting. Finished off with the fan favorite butter cake. This too was kinda disappointing compared to what I remember.I’m not sure if it’s just been a post-Covid thing or what, but seems like both the quality of service and food has taken a drastic hit. I use to love coming here and was always worth the price, but after this experience, you can find better in Boston when paying $400 for a 2-top. But hey, again, maybe just an off night?
AALIS: Fine dining that a must try if you are around. Went here for dinner with collegues. There are non seafood menu as well if the ocean dishes does not suit you well.
Marcela Carmichael: Great location and we solved sitting by the window overseeing the harbor. The service was great. The atmosphere was pretty swanky and not too loud. Food price….high of course, but you go there knowing that. The sushi was our favorite and my husband tried the butter cake and LOVED it!!! The steak was great. Would not recommend the lobster Mac and cheese. We will return next time we are in Boston.
J Gagner: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Oysters on Half Shell, Petite Filet 6oz, Crab Legs, Mastro’S Seafood Tower, Mastro's Bread Basket, Shrimp CocktailMore
Krystal Brown: Dine Out Boston…. Experience 2.5/5 I sat at the bar and the bartender was okay but should have been better. I ordered a strawberry lemonade and it was tart, she remade it and it tasted a tad bit better but not much. I also had to call her over to take my order and give me the check. The salad was good, macaroni and cheese was okay, broccoli bland and salmon okay. The butter cake was a little mushy. I really wanted to enjoy this experience but I was disappointed. The most memorable experience of the night was on my way in the valet guy ran over to open the door so he set the standard and the music was really good too.

RumBa Bar and Restaurant: what do users think?
Samson Lee: Ate at bar, great food and drinks, great waitstaff, nice ambiance and atmosphere
Alex Issokson: RumBa is an easy place to stop for a good bite at the Intercontinental. They have salads, sandwiches, and some fish and steak as well. I would say the quality of the food is 4.5/5—it's not the most amazing meal you'll ever have, but it is still very good. I got a shrimp cocktail and then the club sandwich. Shrimp were great! No complaints there. The club sandwich was very big and filling too. I think it could have been less crunchy and/or maybe different bread, if I'm being nitpicky. The truffle fries were great too. I give a 4/5 because I feel like my expectations were a bit higher. There's lots of other excellent food in Boston, so you're not missing anything if you don't go here.
Byron Wolfe: Nice looking place but couldn’t get a drink even with 4 people working there and only 7 customers. Bartender actually told me I needed to wait while he restocked! What are the other 3 guys doing, supervising?!
Neil Pande: Excellent Punch…
victoria Ackerman: Great options for rums and boubons,, bartenders very knowledgeable. Beautiful setting in lobby
Tyson Ferrell: The Pepsi was cold .. the drink menu made me happy that I quit ,lol.... great atmosphere , LOTS OF LOCALS !!
Deena QK: Good drinks, great service!
Adam Spencer: Thanks for the great service Vee!
Mark Houston: Nice place for after work drinks and bites. Love the place more during the winter months when the fire place is going.
Russell Zwicker: Nice spot for a casual after work business get together.Awesome that they validate parking as well.
Jeff Spires: Such an extensive selection of rum, it will blow your mind. Go for a cocktail on the list or try a flight variety of rums from around the world. Great food options, too.
Chris Thumm: Great
eric moran: This bar is located with the Intercontinental hotel and has a good selection of spirits as well as a decent menu for food options.
Cam Cote: This place started me and my friends habit of collecting great rums! Completely changed my perspective on the alcohol. The selection is excellent and the staff is very knowledgeable.
Charles Goff: We visited Boston for a few days. While staying at the Intercontinental on Atlantic we visited RumBa in the hotel. It's known for champagne and cocktails. The decor is lovely, while tables are spaced for social distancing it didn't affect the ambiance. The added space was a bonus! Making for a more intimate gathering with my girlfriend. We celebrated her birthday with champagne and some appetizers before heading off to dinner. A truly nice addition to our stay. All aspects from the service to the food and drinks were delightful.
Makayla Davies: Terrible service and rude workers
Paul H.: Not overly welcoming. The place was pretty close to empty and because we didn't order bottle of their finest, they treating us like low level passing tourists.Highly doubtful for a return.
najwa Mohamed: حلو جدا
Dori Roberts Stewart: My boyfriend and I stopped in to this hotel bar while on our walk somewhere else when the awful weather brought us to this bar for a break. We are glad we did! Overall we had a good experience. The drinks were good and we were happy to see one of our favorite beers on tap. The atmosphere is cozy with a fireplace on one side and floor to ceiling windows on the other overlooking the water. The only reason for the 4 stars vs 5 stars is because the bartender acted like we were bothering him.
Jessica T: Great spot inside the hotel for a night cap or before dinner drink (or to hang out). Bartenders were attentive.
Andrew Murray: It's a good bar just to hang and watch a game

Toro: what do users think?
Ida Li: Heard about this restaurant from a friend! Great place for having conversations over a light meal and some drinks.Food overall was delicious. Portion size are small particularly because it's a Spanish tapa style meant to be shared amongst the table.Atmosphere was beautiful. I highly recommend getting a seat outdoors for the summer. It's much roomier and comfortable. You can definitely also go in the winter but it'll be really cold! It's a bit on the pricier side but it's a nice treat.
Owen Tredennick: Asado de Huesos was one of the best things I have ever tasted. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, so mix it up!Will be back again and again…and again.
Caitlin McPheron: Authentic Spanish tapas style restaurant. They offer Iberian ham, manchego cheese, bocadillos among other Spanish staples. Great Spanish wine selection as well. We ordered asado de huesos, jamón ibérico, queso de cabra, and maíz asado for two people and it was plenty. Service was great and atmosphere was cozy. Highly recommend.
Dustin Maneethai: Excellent tapas served fresh. The paella was definitely a star but it's quite filling. For two I would recommend the paella and perhaps 3 tapas dishes. The service was excellent. Cristian Suarez: Because of how good the tapas was, I’m giving it a four star. But considering how low-key trash the drinks were, I’d give it a limp 3 star. Fun atmosphere though.
Chingsung Chang: Tables are a bit small. Food is good, but be prepared to spend a decent amount. Overall I do think it is a bit on the pricier side, but there's enough on the menu that's unique. The paella was a tad disappointing though, especially for a Spanish placeFood: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Patatas Bravas Fried …More
Jing Wu: Worst Manager!!! Waitlist shows around 45 minutes, but We have waited for 90 mins with no calls or messages. When we asked them, they said they had sent the message, which we didn’t receive it. The solution from manager is waiting another 120 minutes. The most ridiculous solution ever heard.
Alejandra Ortiz: We shared 4 plates: mushrooms with the egg, shishito peppers, shrimps, churros and flan. Everything was good and the choice of drinks and cocktails too. Bartenders were very attentive and recommend us good drinks. I highly recommend the place for the ambiance, latin music, drinks and food plus the excellent service!Recommended dishes Gambas Al Ajillo, Churros Chocolate Sauce …More

chad svastisalee: Toro is uniquely located on Washington Street in the South End. One thing to know... fresh tapas are always A-Mazing and sharing with your family and besties make meals memorable. Just eating Spanish food because you know it’s delicious is a treat in itself. Toro is a must place to check out. The best way to tapas is to order a little bit of everything, and if you come across something you don’t love, that’s ok. Toro customized our menus with our son's name and boy was he surprised! Sit in their heated outdoor patio or inside the bustling hot spot and you'll be in good hands either way. Don’t let the crowd or wait for a table ruin the whole experience. The local beer selection is good, paired well with our tapas. We started with batatas bravas, calamari with shishito peppers and a well thought charcuterie board to start. Every pinxtos was delicious. Ostros Escabeche, island creek Oysters we're swimming in flavor and although we thought the Empanadas were a bit over fried, they were still tasty inside. We shared two rounds of Risotto de Longostos, it was devine and our boys favorite. The attention to detail to seasoning, plating and staff are on point at Toro.
amora nadia: Plenty vegan optionsRecommended dishes Corn on the Cob, Churros Chocolate Sauce …More
Steven M: Hometown favorite and most delicious food.we come here at least once a weekHighly recommended
Kunal G: It’s a great restaurant. More seafood choices than other meat, great service.Recommended dishes Fried, Tapas, Churros Chocolate Sauce …More

He began telling my friends and I that he would conduct an "internal investigation", but then turned around and said this was a matter to be handled by corporate. There was ZERO followup and ZERO accountability. Ronnie did not perform his managerial duties by failing to protect a young girl from one of his own employees. Not a single apology was issued, no refunds or partial refunds. Just a referral to corporate. The way Ronnie handled this matter was abhorrent and unacceptable.

Sanjana Shetty: Temazcal is one of the go to place for some tequila, chips and salsa.Built on Boston harbor, it offers view of waterfront. The interiors are beautiful. Now coming to the more important things, I have only had chips, salsa and Nachos in this place. I thought they were average. However, I have seen the plates on other tables and they all looked very appetizing. The mock tails and tequilas offered here are amazing. We have found ourselves sitting here for 5 hours ordering margaritas over margaritas and not even realizing it.The staff here is super friendly and will entertain you with their hospitality.

The food is good but still a little manufactured, especially in the case of the croquetas which sometimes come out still cold in the middle. The paella is not the most authentic but definitely tastyRecommended dishes Blistered Shishito Peppers, Charcuterie Board, Patatas Bravas, Gambas Al Ajillo …More
Cami Tussie: Vibe/ambiance of this place is incredible. A fantastic date night kind of place. Favorites were the mushroom, eggplant, and scallops. Basque cheesecake was definitely not as sweet as a NY style, though the texture was amazing. It was my first time trying basque cheesecake and it was not even close to sweet enough for me, wouldn’t order again, but get it if you like desserts that aren’t as sweet!
Nicholas Manning: If you’ve not had real tapas in Spain or do not have decent taste, this place should be fine for you, if not, then I would avoid the food and just try the wine. Fun atmosphere though.
Sarah Robertson: Refusing to serve me a drink because my ID was expired. Showed multiple other forms of ID and still refused. Was told by manager that teens frequent the South End Barcelona using fake IDs. I am 26 years old as stated on my ID not 16. Extremely poor customer service from bartenders.

Found out that the company trained her for a Manager role and I think it was the best decision they could have made. She should write a book on the service industry and how to do it right. I am thankful for the experience and her time at this location.
Jorge Santos: Had dinner at Barcelona for the last night of my business trip and I'm so glad we did. We all shared several tapas and everything was amazing. Our server was extremely attentive and helpful, highly recommended.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options available and the ones we tried were delicious

Casa B Tapas and Cocktail & Rum Bar: what do users think?
Nermin Kibrislioglu Uysal: We only had drinks. Nobody liked their drinks in our party of 6 people. Coctails were served in plastic glasses.
Indira Pal: The food was bland, greasy, and tasteless - similar to economy class plane food. We ordered gnocchi, lamb burger, tres leches, and plantain pizza - everything was disappointing.I love Spanish food and had high hopes but they were dashed. Service was quick and friendly!
Aran Nathanson: Paper plates and plastic cups? The food is ok. Dry maduros and arroz con pollo was bland. The lentil burger was interesting.
Laurie Brunner: Ate there recently with a small group for a special occasion, and it did not disappoint! Everything looked so good that we ordered too much, and the leftovers made a good meal the next day. Potent cocktails, too.Vegetarian options: There are several vegetarian and vegan dishes on the menu, clearly marked.Dietary restrictions: There are several gluten-free dishes on the menu, clearly marked.
Dimitris Mylonas: Food was good (nothing special but good) but too freaking expensive! Tiny paper plates for $15-20 each. I mean cooome ooon
Gina Michael: Food & drinks were delicious! Some of the food just seemed a bit overpriced for the quantity but most of the plates seemed reasonable for the quality. The outdoor seating was nice too with some privacy panels from the street.
Michael Gander: Fire latin tapas. Get the tostada if you like melted cheese. Passion fruit mojito is also amazing.
Nemil Perez: I first came here in like 2013/2014 and it was incredible. Beautiful aesthetic and fantastic food.Came here recently and I felt so sad. Food was super pricey for a few bites, which were delicious bites, but served on paper plates kind of ruined the overall feel for me. Drink was good.Overall, I just felt let down. This was my favorite restaurant for such a long time.Unfortunately, I doubt I'd return.Choripan had incredible flavor though, if you do decide to go.
jawad iqbal: Food was mediocre at best, does not deserve such a high rating. Something about having a $14 drink in a plastic cup feels wrong
Alex Sim: After work drinks and tapas with some of the US dream team, great place!Spanish Caribbean fusion cooking and cocktail and rum bar.Great use of plantain even as pizza base!Take care with the cocktails they are so delicious-passion fruit mojito for example! We had a great evening, great service nice to be outside on their terrace. Turned out slightly expensive, in six $550 of which $180 on drinks and 20% service....but we had fun and were there for 3 hours without feeling we needed to move on. Thats value for money.Suggest you check their menu before you go casabrestaurant.com,eclectic!
Marion Davis: The perfect spot for a date or a nice time with friends. Delicious, creative food, great cocktails, beautiful ambiance (sadly temporarily sacrificed to COVID), and excellent service. We love this restaurant and chose it hands-down for our intimate wedding ceremony, too. A Union Square gem. Definitely try the mushrooms, the skewers and the "Puerto Rican lasagne," but really, you can't go wrong. Desserts also look amazing.Vegetarian options: Lots of delicious vegetarian and vegan options. My favorites are the mixed mushrooms and the crispy fried Brussels sprouts.
Katie F.: The staff were absolutely amazing, five full stars there... ambience was also great, and the drinks were awesome. But the quality and quantity of food was just not good for the price. Some tapas were like counter serve cafeteria food for $10
Han J (HJ): This used to be a good place until something happened to them during covid(?) but I am seriously disappointed after coming back once after covid. Don’t be mislead by the high google ratings…they are all from pre pandemic
Rishi Krishnan: Really poor value, lukewarm food on paper plates and was super expensive.
psuarez: Food was amazing. Everything was just the right portion and delicious. Service was attentive and quick. The drinks hit the spot!Dine in: Yes …More
Lucia Pozzan: Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: YesMore
Bridgette Pitchford: Fun vibe with tasty food!Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: Yes Takeout: Yes Curbside pickup: Yes …More
Justin Lee: Casa B used to be a chic spot. But now it is very pricey for the quality of experience.Paper plates and plastic cups for mediocre cocktails. And drinks and food generally seemed to have gotten worse since COVID.My partner also got food poisoning.
Eli Nunes: Spent $200 for dinner for 2. They served me flan in a Tupperware and gnocchi that was dry and cold in the middle. Cannot recommend this place to anyone, unfortunately.
Chris Butler: Very fun and creative tapas and cocktails. Funky little place. Shrimp with Yucca was awesome.. Menu is WAY overpriced. Food is disappointingly served on cheap paper and cardboard plates.
Casey O'Brien: The food was just not good for the price. I’ve had small portion meals before at restaurants with similar price points, and I was incredibly disappointed by the quality. Everything felt fried, covered balsamic vinaigrette, and just flavorless. The quality of the ingredients wasn’t there. We were also served on paper plates with plastic forks, which diminished the aesthetic (I’m sure there was a reason for this so don’t want to knock them for it). But I will not be coming back.

Angela Lewis: Drag show is THE BEST IN BOSTON,!
Yannick: Great place for a cocktails in a beautiful backroom!
Atziri Rubio: It ended up being the meanest encounter I had with a bar staff, I thought it was going to be a nice experience because the place looks amazing.Since we got there, we sat and it took ages to have a menu because the waitress told us to wait but she was never came back, so we ended so just ordering drinks directly at the bar and not having dinner. Then we headed to the back part were the pool is, there was a waitlist and we gave our names. But like an hour passed and we went to check how was the thing going, but the guy just started yelling at me that if he wrote my name I just had to wait and said “step back” “step back” while doing the gesture of pushing, not letting me explain that maybe my name got lost. One of my friends had to go again but talked to another person and indeed our name was never in the list even when we saw them writing it.We decided to leave, but when we brought up to the people in the front what happened in the back, we just received an out of proportion rudeness from the bar bouncer and staff there.I really wanted to go there since I saw the place, and my friends where visiting from abroad just that weekend and we wasted our only night at Downtown Boston being yelled at a bar.
Cathal Kelly: Unreal food!
Ozgur Oksuz: The food is great, the drinks are good. But people there are extremely rude.
Robert Crawford: Came here with a couple of friends for drinks on Saturday night and had an extremely strange and negative experience. We spent the first hour in the front, enjoying the live music and a few beers, then went to the back bar for a few cocktails. We played some pool and had a nice time until we were leaving, when a member of the bar staff came round the bar to find us and argue about the size of the tip we had given on our drinks + (expensive) game of pool: "give me $20 and we don't need to keep talking".I've lived in Boston for years and this is by far the weirdest experience I have ever had in a bar. Leaving aside the fact we did leave a tip, I just don't understand how some of the staff here think it is OK to harass customers like this.Deeply unpleasant end that ruined an otherwise enjoyable evening.
Victoria Gelmi: Loved my experience here!!! The smoked old fashioned is next level - absolutely would come again. Pool tables and dark vibes in the back “speakeasy” were amazing. Bar tenders were fantastic!
Tina Raisifard: Theme is super fun, wish some of the decor was nicer. The “speakeasy” in the back was more of a club with private events going on
Alex Jones: Food was incredible (this said by a chef of 35 yrs and not easily wowed). Ambiance, decor etc was top notch. Mojitos were spot on. Accommodated an early reservation arrival. Service was a tad sluggish but only if you work in the industry would you be so critical. No more spoilers. Highly recommend.
Davide Valeriani: Nice vibe, some waitresses are rude, music too loud
Michael Herbst: Thanks to Sharon, the manager, and Caitlyn, the back room bartender on March 10, our crew had a wonderful time. Our food was delicious and delivered amazingly quickly. The single malt scotch selection was impressive. My only criticism is the back room was VERY hot. It’s too bad the temperature couldn’t be controlled better. All in all, Carrie Nation is a good time waiting for your party.
Summer Wang: I recently visited this cocktail bar, and I must say, I was blown away by my experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. In particular, my waiter was outstanding. They went above and beyond to make sure that my visit was enjoyable and that I had everything I needed. Now, let's talk about the cocktails. I tried their Smokey Old Fashioned, and it was hands down the best cocktail I've ever had. The blend of flavors was perfectly balanced, and the smokiness added a unique and delightful touch.
Saqib Mirza: I recently visited Carrie Nation Cocktail Club in Boston for dinner and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The decor was elegant and chic, with dim lighting and cozy seating that created the perfect ambiance for a night out with friends. The menu was equally impressive, I especially liked the corn soup. For my main course, I had the duck breast, which was tender and flavorful, and accompanied by a delicious sauce. The cocktails were also a standout part of the experience. I tried a few different drinks throughout the night, and each one was expertly crafted with high-quality ingredients. The bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly, and offered great recommendations based on my tastes.Overall, I would highly recommend Carrie Nation Cocktail Club for a special night out. The atmosphere was sophisticated and inviting, the food was delicious and well-prepared, and the drinks were top-notch. It's a great spot to impress a date or celebrate a special occasion.
Margarita Sanchez: Great place to relax after work.
Tôn Nữ Nguyễn ĐÌnh: came here after the movies at AMC, really impressed with the space and the vibe. Ordered a creme de casis spritz which wasn’t on the menu and the bartender made me a delicious drink. Will be coming back.
Brian Twitchell: Went here with a group. Food was flavorful and high quality. I had a winter squash gnocchi dish. Fish and chips entree and oyster entee both received praise from those near me. Portions were large for me, a light eater. Had some difficulty splitting the check due to their "old" payment system. Food was good enough that I don't want to remove a full star, but would remove half of I could.
Francisco Morales: If you’re in Boston and you’re looking for a speakeasy with good food and superb drinks this is the place to go to. Loved their fresh oysters with Vietnamese seasoning. The salt and pepper squid is addictive. Very welcoming and friendly vibes. Will definitely come back again!
tim white: We happen to be fans of a terrific speakeasy. We recently heard Surprise and wonder are a key factor for ones happiness. We seak out these experiences and could not pass Carrie nations back room speakeasy. The location right near the statehouse could easily be walked right by. Don’t 🙂 inside you’ll find a well done restaurant with raw bar and a band playing in the main dining room . As you make your way out back the decor deepens to a classic well don speakeasy with pool tables and libations for your evening. The place is beautifully doneIts only negative (which purest completely understand is the hidden element of surprise many of the best Speakeasy’s curate.Worth a stop in
taylor adams: Went with my friend, we are both POC. From interaction with the bald bouncer with glasses to the people inside the speakeasy, the bar did not seem POC friendly. Beautiful place but didn’t feel welcomed, won’t be going back :/
Sagar Basaula: The bartenders know how to make a good drink here.
Ricardo Gomez: Beware they don’t accept international tourist without ID. They wanted us to bring a physical passport, and no picture or other form of physical ID was enough for them.

Chacarero: what do users think?
Ian Purcell: All I gotta say is that I hope the Chilean style hot dog sticks around on the menu. That thing is amazing and the people behind the counter rightfully hyped it up!Been here before for sandwiches, highly recommend those as well!EDIT: It's a year later, and I fully stand by this review. Adding pictures of the hot dog.
Alan Chen: Must try Chachero its healthy delicious Chilean sandwich. I always get the beef & chicken combo. The restaurant is near Macys in downtown crossing.
Alex: It seems like quite authentic food option. There was a sizable line, so the place is clearly popular. The large sandwich is huge, I only was able to finish a half of it.However it is a bit of disappointment - despite having all the options and sauces the sandwich was bland. I had a combo and while the chicken meat was tender, the beef was rather chewy. At the same time the sauce was heavily garlicky and I felt it on my breath the whole day. So while this place is an easy option for a business lunch take out, it is difficult to have conversation with people afterwards.Quick service. Few indoor seats.
Leah Javaheri: Hidden gem in downtown crossing! Fresh and delicious Chilean sandwiches that are 10/10 amazing! This place is well run and very clean. We have been eating this food since they were selling out of the side of Filene's basement! Excellent quality for over 20 years.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Christina Lewis: You go for the unique sandwich experience not the atmosphere. I have not been here since covid and the sandwich didn't change. Still the same size and flavor profile. Consistency is key that sauce is everything and more. The beef was a little chewier than I remembered so that's why I left off a star. But everything is as I remembered it
Matthew Feher: I have been a regular customer since the days of ordering a tasty chacerero sandwich from their food cart outside Filene's in Downtown Crossing. They are amazing, a true Boston icon and they have never changed a bit which is a rarety nowadays and something really special. The only thing better than the sandwiches are the terrific family owners and staff.
Nirav Dhamsania: Chacarero has a great sandwich. We normally order veggie sandwiches and chicken sandwiches. We always ask them to make it extra spicy. Their spicy spread that they put on the sandwich is great, it's not just spicy it has a good taste to it as well. The place does get very busy so if you like you can call ahead and place the order to save time. The staff is great as well, always smiling and helpful.
Baby B: I used to be a regular here - but they keep raising prices (to absurd levels). Moreover, the quality of the food has gotten much worse, in particular the bread. It's routinely hard and stale now - which is ridiculous for a $17 sandwichFood: 2/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More

Kenneth Hatfield: I've been eating at Chacarero since 2014. The beef sandwich has not changed in that time and it's spectacular.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Sharon Speer: This is a MUST when I visit Boston. I had the chicken. The bread is made fresh daily- it includes chicken, avocado, garlic spices, cheese and string beans. Absolutely delicious! The owner Juan and daughter Andrea are so welcoming and nice. It's a family run business that has been around for decades and I hope many more. Love! Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Robert Crawford: Great sandwiches served quickly, cheaply and with a very friendly vibe. This is not an upmarket place, but you can tell the team here put their heart and soul into it - and you taste that in the food.I had the "small" beef sandwich and it was still huge - no way I could have eaten a bigger one. I also asked him to make it extra spicy and he didn't mess around.
Christopher Acevedo: If you want Boston's best, most delicious and authentic chilean food. Look no more than Chacarero, with amazing customer service and overall fresh ingredients with each item on the menu. It's hard to find anything else remotely close to the uniqueness of their sandwiches, with my personal favorite being the Chacarero Sandwich.
Panchi: The food is great pricey but worth itFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

abimelec ramos: Had the chacarero sandwich on the vegan bred… was amazing, everything was full of flavor and super fresh. Also had the sweet potatoes fries, the meal was so good I forgot I was being healthy.Vegetarian options: They have vegan bread on Fridays!!
justin shields: Sandwich is boring, bread not great. Has flavor but just unexciting and not worth it. Fries came cold and soggy.Food: 2/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More

Minh Anh Bui: Somewhat disappointed! Went here for dinner and ended up paying a lot of money and not being full for the night. I think it might be a better place as a bar (if you want a place to chill out), but definitely not a place to get food. The food was overpriced (probably due to the small portion) and it was mid (does not really tasted "special" or "different"). The place was pretty, that was the only nice side about it (especially if you wanna take pictures). Furthermore, I somehow felt that this place was understaffed as we had to wait for 20 mins just to look for a waiter to ask for the bill.
Thomas Marino: Stopped in after the Boston Marathon. Got a table. Food was very tasty but they serve more tapas style. Only choice. Offerd a nice tequila slushy to start. Very dark inside but was ok. They added a free cotton candy dessert which was kind of fun and tasty.Food: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Free Cotton Candy Dessert …More
Meri Kvitkovskaya: Unfortunately, I’ve had a really bad experience at this location.I was sitting at the bar with a friend. Our bartender was extremely rude. I’ve never seen such a bad attitude. I want to mention that it wasn’t a busy night or anything. The worst customer service ever. They don’t care about their customers AT ALL!My friend and I got two coconut marg and chips&guacamole. We couldn’t finish any of our orders because the bartender took it from us without asking if we still working on it. First he took our chips while I was eating. He was rude with it for no reason. When I asked another bartender to talk to a manager he didn’t pay attention. I went to ask another worker for a manager. When the manager came, the bartender took our drink in front of us and the manager. We were very disappointed. Manager said “ things happen, he might be in a bad mood today”.

Macy Jones: Really liked the atmosphere and attentive service. Good drinks and selection of food. Cotton candy at the end was a unique touch. It was pretty busy when I visited, making a reservation ahead of time is probably a good idea if you plan to sit down and eat. But the bar area seemed lively, too.
Divakar Jain: Extremely glad that this location finally opened again. Food in the Fort Point location is delicious and Lolita Back Bay is no different. The 'Spicy Artichoke Empanadas' is one of the best dishes I've ever had in my life. Carlos Trias: Domingo de brunch, muy buena ambientación buenas porciones, muy buena calidad. Capítulo aparte paea Samy la mesera, excelente atención, gracias Samy.
Erica C: Unfortunately, Lolita was another disappointing dining experience in the Boston area. Lolita's only good qualities are the ambiance, queso, and cocktails. If you are looking for great drinks, I would recommend Lolita, but the food is questionable. The location of Lolita is perfect, within walking distance to most areas of Back Bay and in an unassuming basement of a brownstone. The dark atmosphere is cozy and the decor matches the look they are going for. Our server was polite but rarely checked on our table. The best part of our experience was the free green apple cotton candy and the creamy queso. The tacos we ordered came with "questionable" meat. Avoid the pork carnitas and blackened mahi mahi like the plague. Vegetarians may have a better experience. My tip is to avoid or at least read reviews of restaurants you discover on Instagram. The atmosphere may be beautiful but the food quality falls by the wayside.
Jonathan Stevens: This is by far the best restaurant I have ever been to! This place had it all between the ambiance, food and drink. They definitely hit the mark when it comes to all senses. I will absolutely be returning.
Lilya Tkachuk: Terrible terrible customer service ever!!!I don’t go there again. I am sensitive to service more then to the taste of foodDon’t Recommend!!!
Vasyl Hrytsiv: Very rude bartender!DON’T RECOMMEN!!!!I would happily pay more for good customer service
Anastasiia Gnat: Don’t recommend!!! Pick another bar if you want to have a good time. Very disappointed after our experience tonight. VERY aggressive and rude bartender. Worst experience in my life! Don’t waste your time and money in Lolita back bay!
Wolf_ Long Beach: Authentic aristocratic Mexican cuisine and the best Tequila collection west of the Mississippi
Alejandra Pulido: I’m conflicted! The interior design and decoration is beautiful and nice-quality! I thought the custom skull with the real red roses was an amazing touch. 10/10 for the atmosphere! The food and drinks were delicious as well, however, the portions surprised me. I feel ripped off.My boyfriend and I were able to squeeze in as a walk in after I asked to be on the waitlist. We were seated and we waited at least 15-17 minutes on receiving water. Then another 10 min on our server to arrive. She was very nice however I only saw her twice during our visit, the first to take our order and the last when we asked for the check (after 20 min when we were done eating). My boyfriend and I are both servers so we were trying to figure out what the servers and support staff were doing this whole time. To include, our food definitely came out quick, and again, delicious. We observed other tables around us also becoming impatient as they waited for water and service as well. Do the servers have to prepare the free sweet ice and cotton candy? We also observed that all the drinks are completely filled with small nugget ice. Another rip-off feel.I would have preferred a slightly bigger portion instead of the free gigantic cotton candy dessert— we also observed that no one picks on it as much so it’s all going to waste at the end?—Atmosphere: 5/5Food: 3/5 due to portionsService: 1/5, friendly just non-existent

Lee Techx: Some of the food was great. This place is expensive as this is tapas, so you need 3-4 small plate to make it a meal. Each plate is 16-20 bucks roughly. Abe & Louie's: what do users think?
Harrison Ingham: I went here with my fiancé for her birthday dinner because what better than to take your significant other for a nice juicy steak. For years, she and I have been wanting to try a good wagyu closer to our area so I did some research which time and time again pointed me in the direction of Abe & Louie's of Boston Massachusetts so I made the right choice and put in the reservations in which I specified it was her birthday and her first TRUE STEAKHOUSE.After a week of anticipation and not telling her where we were going or what we were doing or why we have to drive to Boston the time had arisen and off to Boston we went. Once we arrived and I gave my name we were immediately treated like royalty and brought to the best 2 seat table in the house. Right in front of a fireplace overlooking the entire dining room and right by the kitchen. We ordered of course, two wagyu beef steaks one of which being the 12oz westholme NY strip from Australia and her order being a striploin from japan. Both were cooked to perfection along with our Brussel sprouts and whipped potatoes not to mention my French onion soup I started off with that was just simply incredible. It was all just so overwhelmingly good, but what really made my night complete was the fact that after not thinking they would do anything other then wish her happy birthday for a 7th time we were getting ready to ask for the bill when our waiter came around the corner with dessert plates and a giant hunk of chocolate cake and ice cream with a candle lit right in the center. To me this was as much of a shock as it was to her and the cherry on the top to a already great experience with perfectly cooked steaks and for all of these reasons on top of a excellent waiter I must give this place a 5/5 AND IS GREATLY RECOMMENDED.
Mark Capolupo: In Boston for business with unplanned stay over. Thought I would make the best of it and enjoy a great steak in my old neighbor hood—delicious as ever, steak cooked to perfection!Very busy and a little noisy, but the food is excellent. I definitely recommend.

David Costanza: Been to a lot of steak places and, in the end A&L was only OK. The main problem is that the steaks themselves, the reason for the place, were average. Nothing bad but nothing great. I've had a dozen or more better steaks in the past few years, often at a half to one quarter of the price. The service was fine but also less attentive than needed while also being more intrusive than necessary. What do I mean? The servers should not have to interrupt a conversation to ask which person gets which dish, especially at a 2-top.The best thing we got was the Brussel sprouts, truly excellent, and the decadent cookie dessert. The rest of the sides were OK as was the selection of by-the-glass wines. Nothing memorable. The prices were high but not out of range for this type of restaurant. That said, at the price we paid ($175/person), and if your main reason for being is steaks, the food and experience have to be superlative and at A&L, they were not.
Mountrell Sharpe: I had the PorterHouse Steak cooked to Perfection Awesome! What I failed to mention I also had the mashed potatoes with garlic and blue cheese A great combination.
