Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse: what do users think?
Haley Peloquin: My friend had a reservation for his birthday at 8:15pm Saturday evening. We arrived right on time and were told it'd be 15-20 min wait which was totally fine because we were still waiting for one person in our party plus were all industry folk so we try to understand where we can. Almost an hour passes and my friend goes to check in on our table since nothing had been communicated further to us. After a manager explains they over booked themselves for the night, we finally get seated almost an hour and 15 minutes later with not one single apology. We ignore it, sit down, and our server comes over and seems frazzled so we give her some time to get situated. We put our orders in eventually and the food runner not only brings the wrong soup to someone at our table, but when she brings the correct soup over (my friend was just going to eat the incorrect soup because it wasn't worth complaining about plus it was good so who cares!) she physically took the incorrect lobster bisque away while his spoon was still dripping in soup getting all over the table then she put the correct tomato soup down and walked away. Not replacing the spoon, not apologizing, and we were mostly confused as to why his lobster bisque was confiscated from the table since it was half eaten and not like they could resell it. There were 6 of us at the table and I believe 5 of us ordered steaks which were all undercooked. Again, we didn't complain because at this point we just wanted to leave and we thought it was rather obvious we had been through the ringer even just after waiting over an hour for our RESERVED table. Oh we got that FULL $800+ tab with no comps, no apologies, nothing. Again, we're all service industry workers so we try to give the benefit of the doubt, but it was a hard dinner for us all to sit through!Bright sides of the dinner: the server was extremely nice and had a full section so we completely understand her being frazzled. We didn't finish dinner until 11pm (when they close) and she still offered dessert and by no means rushed us out. We didn't get her name, but did want to thank her for that we were just frustrated Saturday evening after spending good money with not the quality we were hoping for.

Juan Carlos P: A beautiful restaurant and the food , service and cocktails Never disappoints. If you are walking by is worth checking this place out. I still remember when they open and it seems they can stand any storm thanks to the consistent effort to make great food. Kitchen stuff rocks 👏🏼🙌🏼
Charles Law: I would eat again at this restaurant, and that says a lot.The "55 Day Prime Aged Strip Steak" was one of the best steaks I have had. The two sauces recommended just covered up the flavor of the steak, so I do not recommend them. A truffle risotto side was also very good. The truffle was a major flavor. The waiter service was also very good.Unfortunately, the Ceasar salad and the "Penne, Applewood Smoked Chicken, Sundried Tomatoes, Walnuts, Cream" did not meet my expectations. The chicken had a pasty texture like it was marinated too long. The desserts were just average. The mango cheesecake was too sour with citric acid. The sour did not blend with the cheesecake well. The pistachio creme brulee was overly sweet. The custard should be less sweet to contrast the "burnt" sugar on the top.Parking: Self parking is available in garages and will cost you $25-$33. I also believe valet service is available.

Jim Haynie: The location is convenient to the Back Bay. The menu is pretty good selection. The popovers were burnt. The scallops were okay, but no risortto or peapods. The rice had no flavor. The salad was bland. The desserts were simple and dull. There was no gluten-free dessert option other than berries. Their version of bailey's had gluten. I would pick another place to go eat. The cost is not cheap.
Joseph Meyer: Entirely not worth the price, period. What an underwhelming meal. But I am a chef, so my standards may be higher. My meal was the basic of the basic, spaghetti and meatballs, if you can’t get this right, how can I trust you with any more?
Hannah Bradley: My boyfriend and I went in for dinner and it was one of the best restaurant experiences of my life! The staff was super friendly and attentive and the food was delicious! Will definitely be coming back soon!

Kim: This place is a wonderful place to come for a lunch date. It's not super busy and the atmosphere is very elegant and romantic. The food might be alittle pricy but definitely worth it! The clam chowder is amazing and so is the grilled shrimp salad. I also got green tea which was perfect. My server was amazing and she was very nice. She has blonde hair and I cannot remember her name sadly.Dietary restrictions: They asked right away if we had any dietary restrictions.

Gillian Choate: One of the prettiest settings for seafood in Boston. The Halibut was delicious. Also the wagyu fried rice was amazing. The chowder was a bit thinner than we like but probably a matter of taste. Excellent service. Would return and stay at the Boston Harbor hotel to be close.
Justin Haire: The food and atmosphere here were fantastic. It was a little pricey but that's to be expected at a hotel restaurant. Overall it was a wonderful experience with extremely attentive staff.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Hannah Lawrence: We went for high tea. It was nice enough, but vastly overpriced -- $75 per person before tax/tip for mostly average pastries/snacks (with a few standouts), and not very much substantive food. The service seems to have declined slightly, too -- we had to ask how long to steep the different tea types for, for example. Overall, it's a pleasant experience, but in no way worth that price (which is a $20 increase from one year ago). I would not recommend it for this reason.
David Merna: Everything was perfect. Appetizers were incredible, main course was a work of artistic skill. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Very friendly staff. Beautiful setting and spotlessly clean. Going back again soon. Cost well worth the visit. Step outside onto the waterfront, we had such a nice evening. A heartfelt Thank You to the entire staff.

Mary Dickens: Everything was exceptional! It was a perfect fall evening. Atmosphere, view, service, food and presentation were ALL superior (thank you Adrian for the excellent service).
Anthony R: Have dined at the Sea Grille on two occasions. Once for breakfast and once for lunch, both times were outstanding experiences. The restaurant is located within the Boston Harbor Hotel and has a beautiful setting inside and outdoors. This is a great spot for a special occasion meal or to entertain clients. The food and service is fabulous, highly recommend the Sea Grille!

Chart House: what do users think?
FULYA OTEV: Surprisingly they were so rude! We asked for a table for 5 adults and 4 kids , hostess said we needed to wait for 25 min. I checked with my friends and went back in for confirmation and the same lady said she didn’t pay attention what I said and they were not available for next 3 hours. She didn’t care us and got rid of with all kids awaiting table as she confirmed. Very disappointed
Fatih Akgun: Terrible customer sevice
David Glabe: We had a great experience here as part of a large party. The food was excellent and the location on the scenic pier added to a great atmosphere. Glad we visited!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Paul Heeg: Nice atmosphere, good view of the harbor and live music.
Sean Callot: A bit stuffy and not a great place to start at 5:30, but great food and a solid wine list.Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Dan Morrow: Extremely rude!!! We showed up with no hostess around so seated ourselves outside with everyone else, as others had done. About 4 wait staff for 12 tables, and after about 10 minutes were told we needed to see the hostess and then they wouldn’t seat us.
Electra Jones: I've used this restaurant for 2 different special events. Both times have been disappointing and we won't be using them moving forward. The sales person that you deal with before hand acts as though your party is an inconvenience to his day and in neither case did he reach out after the event to ask how things went. The food is just ok. There are so many other high-quality seafood/steak house restaurants to choose from that can handle large parties, there is no reason to book here again. Also, the private rooms are up on the 3rd floor, stairs only, which became an issue with our most recent group where a person had a disability and had to struggle. Then the bathrooms are on first floor. So that's definitely a no-go reason for many large parties as well. 👎Wheelchair accessibility: This is not a wheel chair accessible restaurant. Because of the age of the building, there is no elevator and the restaurant is 3 stories.
Tom McSweeney: Nice restaurant in a historic building, on the Boston waterfront. Neat atmosphere, but every time anyone walked past my chair, the floor creaked and gave way a bit, and that got old. My wife had a shrimp-3-ways plate with grilled veggies. and I had prime rib with mashed potatoes. The shrimp was good, veggies just ok. My medium rare prime rib was dry - I had to poke holes in it with my fork, and pour the au-jus over it. The lava cake was served with ice cream, tasty. The service was just ok. I should have ordered seafood.
Karine: Incredible! All was perfect!
Grant Hanowell: Employees made it a bad experience. The hostess acted put out by our presence, didn’t greet us or say goodbye. Our server did not want to lift a finger and told us she was too busy to make their high end bar drinks. No smiling, almost throwing stuff at us with a sour attitude. As a customer, I found myself trying to compensate for her grouchiness the whole dinner. Overall, the kitchen made great food but the front of the house made us feel totally unwanted and unappreciated. We’ll spend our $75 per person elsewhere next time.

Jill Farina: Since I was only able to write one review I am giving the Sunday brunch a FIVE star review but our Sunday evening experience is actually less than ONE star.We met family for a Sunday brunch and enjoyed the quiet setting and the wonderful wait staff. The banana pancakes were heavenly! We were staying at the hotel so we came to the bar for a Sunday night cocktail and the bartender was rude and disrespectful. We waited for 15 minutes and he walked by us 3 times without even glancing our way. He talked and laugh with a group of young people at one end and then went back to the scantily dressed ladies at the other end. We could tell he had no time for us and didn't care. When my husband asked if there was another bartender who could take our order he said "no" and walked away so we got up and left. He made an extremely rude comment to us as we left. Sad that someone that rude can work at such a lovely place.
Victor Estrada: We stayed at the hotel and all the nights this place was bustlingWe finally made our way to stop for a couple of drinks and both service and drinks were on par with the hype. Highly suggest you make a reservation or be patient and you will be able to secure a seat by the bar.
Martin Foley: Sea bass with clams was extremely good, a few more clams would have made it 100% ambiance excellent. The clam chowder I just did not like their take on it, I’m more a traditional clam chowder guy. I sat at the bar, the best part of my experience was the bartender Bonnie. Very beautiful and very sweet with a huge smile, she made my day. Thank you Bonnie!

Liz McEachern Hall: Four stars for the attentive but not overzealous service and for handling my mother in law's off the menu order in a patient manner. Food was very good (the King crab on avocado toast was made even better but not being completely drowned in Hollandaise sauce). Docking a star because their phone communication is almost non existent. I called the Monday before a Sunday brunch reservation after looking at Open Table and not seeing any time slots available (RESY is much better!). No one answered so I left a message with my contact details and request. By Thursday no one had called me back so I tried again Friday and left another message. Finally someone called me and lo and behold they were easily able to accommodate our party of five despite OT's virtual insistence that nothing was available.
Brandon: The best clam chowder I've had. I was completely blown away. I could not stop eating. We also had lobster rolls and a veggie pizza. Last time we had lobster rolls in boston it was bad. It was at a different place. I'm totally sold on lobster rolls now and clam chowder. Very good on a cold day and it was very cold in Boston this trip. The vibe here felt like a place to get a drink instead of food. We didn't mind and the restaurant is old but it is wonderful to look at. Thank you for the great service.
Marie Brennan: Have not been there in yearsMissed very much the White table seatingAnd quiet ambience that captured Bostonespecially in this Beautiful bldg.Overall friendly ness was missing also.Vegetarian options: Portion very smallOther dish chickenJust OKDietary restrictions: Suggest more GF optionsOr willingness to adopt a dish for GF
Angelo Gianotto: Awesome place
Janice Coburn: We planned an amazing night for my sons engagement. The manager and staff was so rude to us! Like he didn’t want a nice family from Boston?! So insulted and would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. They ruined a wonderful night we had planned there. I will never forget this. Very upset
Christina Nowak: For $19, a Maker’s old fashioned should have a large rock, not be on the rocks. It should be bourbon forward, not all orange & sugar. It should absolutely *under no circumstances* have a straw. This used to be my favorite location for a classic old fashioned, but I will not be returning for one with a straw.
Rai H.: 😎how many times have you been to this place? 2👩🏻summary: (update) visited with my loved one to get drinks. / catch up with my friend over quick dinner and drink. Reminds me of university club of new york.🥘food: (update) truffle fries($17) - large portion and good taste / mussels - good.🍸drink: Prosecco, coffee and beer💬service: attentive and friendly💁🏻‍♀️would I revisit this place? Yes - to get drinks from the bar.

Ruth's Chris Steak House: what do users think?
Andrea Fiori: One memory we will keep for long. The restaurant is sited within the old city hall, meat is incredible. A special mention for the filet and filet with bone, amazing. Sides are great too, try the Mac and cheese. Super friendly staff and overall great service.
Patricia Desmond: Initial service was lacking n tainted experience. Had to argue for a better table. Dining room was cold n dark. Food was great.Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Bread Pudding w Whiskey Sauce, Lobster Mac & Cheese, Caesar Salad, Roasted Chicken …More
Pastor Colleen: It was our 15th wedding anniversary and we wanted a romantic evening. First there were two groups of loud individuals who had to much to drink and no respect for those around. Then we asked for medium-well steaks and they came well-done, no juice or flavor. The only good thing was our potatoes and server. This was the second time we had this experience at a Ruth Chris. Totally over price for the experience. Our bill was $175. I was extremely disappointed.

Kris Rossi: Beautiful historic building, but it really stops there. 2 out of 3 steaks were woefully overcooked. The meat was too salty, and I love salt, but it was too much. Crabmeat in the crab cake, while plentiful, was a bit old tasting. Lettuce in the steakhouse salad was brown around the edges. Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes were good. Crem Brule had a grainy texture. For the money we spent,it was not worth it from a food standpoint. We did have a great time, and the service was pretty goodDietary restrictions: They have online menus for dietary restrictions including one for keto
Sama Mohsin: I came in last night not expecting much after my last experience in the main dining room, I decided to try out the bar and was greeted by a bartender named Sali, it is extremely refreshing to see females behind the bar, and the service was incredible, the food was great, the service I received was much better, I came in with low expectations and left extremely pleased.
elizaida tejeda: The food was delicious,Had Paola as a server and she was very kind and welcome. Very attentive and Had absolutely no complaints.

Gigi: Finally made to Ruth’s Chris Steak House. The old building on School Street could use a little remodeling. I would definitely recommend sitting upstairs especially if you want a better ambiance, but the food was good the hot bread was fresh I think it had just came out the oven. My steak with lobster tail was perfect. Cooked just as ordered the mash potatoes was good, the spinach well I would pass on that. My cocktail was very light on the alcohol seem more like water down juice. I also ordered a hot Irish coffee that was room temperature but the service was good and food was good.

thomas smith: Best food I have had in years. Service was fast, and attentive. Was a little more expensive then the 20-30 dollar per person the google said it was, but it is definitely worth it.
Jordi Segalés: Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Nicholas Arceri: Outstanding food and ambience!!
Alex Issokson: Overall, I had a good meal here. It’s pretty expensive because it’s at a hotel but the quality of the food is 4/5. The ambience is cool because the hotel used to be a jail. I ordered the smoked salmon, which was excellent! They definitely did not skimp out. We did not love the French toast, however. I’d give a 3.5 if I could—I probably won’t come back, but it’s a classic hotel breakfast.
Donna Cooper: Great lunch at Clink! One of the restaurants in the Liberty Hotel (a fabulous old Boston building that was previously the Charles Street Jail). The space is lovely—even with the exposed brick and heavy wrought iron cell doors and windows, the restaurant feels light and airy and modern. The waitstaff was helpful, attentive and friendly. I started with a very smooth Negroni and ordered the Smoked Salmon Poke Bowl for my lunch entree. Salmon was ultra-fresh and the flavors in the bowl worked beautifully together (yuzu rice, edamame, watermelon radish, seaweed, egg, avocado and more). Delish. My dining friend had the vegan burger (roasted veg and grains) on a brioche bun. Desserts were a smooth-as-silk crème brûlée (with a dollop of cinnamon ice cream on the side) and an apple bread pudding (with a dollop of caramel ice cream on the side. Everything was top notch! Delicious food in a unique and fun atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back.
Monika: Good food and ambience. Brunch selection was great.
Matt Oliver: Dined here for breakfast while staying at the Liberty Hotel. The ambience is amazing with the jail cells throughout the venue and the food was great including the eggs benedict and waffles.
Alyssa Mackinnon: Fabulous food, flavorful and finely crafted cocktails to bootService was a tad slow but didn't mind at all because we had an amazing time with the atmosphere & absolutely awesome historic environmentFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jason Quinn: Waited 40 minutes after our reservation time before being seated. Not entirely sure why as when we were finally seated there were three empty tables. The bread to start was very salty. I had the bolognase which was not particularly good and extremely expensive for pasta. There was loud bass thumping through the floor for the entire dinner but not music just thumping bass from the club type area in front of the restaurant. Overall and extremely unpleasant experience. Service was very slow. 20 minutes after being seated we still hadn't someone come by for drink order. When we finally finished they messed up our bills and when that was finally sorted they never came back for payment so we just sat awkwardly waiting until we flagged someone down. At this price range I've never had a more disappointing dining experience.
Gigi H: This restaurant is extraordinary. The staff is beyond professional. The food is superb. Excellent job. Perfectly doneFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Apple Crisp, Hand Rolled Gnocchi, Cornish Hen, Steak and Potatoes …More
Mariam Yak: Came here for date night in February - winter menu was absolutely perfect for the snowy setting and delicious. We had mussels, the goat cheese polenta and some delicious (strong) cocktails. Our waiter was very attentive and accommodating. The atmosphere was very cozy and inviting. The only item we wouldn’t recommend was the pizza which we took to go - it was too cheesy/soggy and not worth the $30.
Bryan Weathers: Had such a lovely dinner here! Our server, Marco was incredible, so friendly and knowledgeable. Also, they are great with dietary restrictions! Looking forward to going back.

Bambara Cambridge: what do users think?
michele harper: I had the wings they were great.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
J W G: Had breakfast there, while staying in the hotel. The waitress ignored us for about 10 min though we were the only in the queue waiting to be seated. We decided to take a seat ourselves. After another 10 min the lady who was to clean the tables brought us the menu. Also the cutlery was dirty.
Linda Barlaam: We had a private event at Bambara and we highly recommend. We were seated in a lovely private area of the restaurant. The food was delicious. Shout out to Andres our server for an outstanding job. We started with the wings and calamari. We appreciated that the calamari cooked to perfection with a delicious sauce. The beet salad, salmon and hanger steak were all amazing and the portions were quite large. The creme brulee and chocolate dipped fruit made for lovely ending to what was a terrific meal. We highly recommend this restaurant for your private celebrations!
Claire Walker: I had 4 meals here. All were great. The menu was restricted due to a staff event the first night, even so, the kitchen made an exception to serve some excellent oysters. Breakfasts were tasty and very generous. I had a classic one day and a salmon bagel the second day. The only thing I would say is that a little more cream cheese would have been good for the bagel. The lobster roll was generous and well cooked. I really liked the hot or cold option.
David Clements Jr.: Great location, and the food was amazingFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Fried Calamari …More
Andrea Perez: Nov 2022, Chef Adam Resnick kindly brought the dish out himself and I proceeded to enjoy one of the most delicious meals of my life! I wish I knew what this dish was called, it was special for charity so I am unable to find it on the menu. Everything we ordered was so yummy! Sauce for the oysters, burger, fries, etc. The tostones were perfect, the sauce was perfect, I wish I could be transported back!
Court Noyes: Bambara is the epitome of approachable 6 Fine Dining with Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, and Peter (our Server) is the best when it comes to amazing expert recommendations and knowledgeable insights into the different dishes on the menu. I highly recommend both the swordfish and the steak and my partner and I both thoroughly enjoyed the oysters and the clam chowder to start.I also want to remind people that oysters are two for $3 between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., and while we did not take advantage of this since we ate later in the evening on Valentine's Day, the oysters were still amazing. Fresh and local from Barnstable! The sides are generous, and we enjoyed the fingerling potatoes delicata squash anymore taking some of the sides home. The food is elevated, customizable and also quite delicious. If you are in the area, whether it be at MIT just across the river in Boston, for passing through the area, I highly recommend asking for Peter at them Bambara restaurant. When you call you may get John, who I believe is one of the managers, and handles everything deftly making all dinner and hotel guests feel welcome.Hot tip: ask for one of the booths! Very romantic if you are looking for that.Drinks are sublime - ask about the Old Fashioned and also the bartender's favorites.Oh and don't skip when it comes to dessert! Creme brulee bananas over a chocolate mousse with oatmeal cookies finished off the evening - elevated presentation and delicious!Don't think twice - just make a reservation or walk in and know you are in for a great night!!Vegetarian options: Many optionsKid-friendliness: The team is ready to assist families.Parking: Parking through Kimpton Marlowe Hotel. $25-$45Wheelchair accessibility: YesDietary restrictions: Every item (as far as I know) can be customized.
Sam Childs: Food was great, and bartender was very friendly – great drinks!
Rosa “Foodie with a boodie” Moniz: Went to Bambara for s Bdy brunch. 21 of us, think they forgot we were coming. Not ready for us at all. Once we sat took 30 mins just to get coffee. Beautiful hotel thoughFood: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Pradeep BN: You get what you pay for? Not here. Got fruits with mold, rude staff, also asked for gluten free bread, got a bread full of gluten
Mary B: What a lovely restaurant! Stopped here on our way to the science museum and didn't regret it. The food was incredible-- you could really tell the head chef and kitchen staff are artists. Everything tasted as good as it looked (which was consistently beautiful). Drinks were good-- highly recommend the pesto arancini, they were mind blowing.
Herm Trepesch: Great vibe
Christopher Lawrence: Great ambiance. Table attendant Katherine was very helpful and welcoming. Great spot to grab a quality breakfast/brunch. Flavors were amazing. Breakfast sandwich and oatmeal were our favorites.
Ezekiel Waisel: Food and service was excellent. Decided to try this place on date night and every option we had was delicious. Ate the hummus plate, pesto arancini, and salmon entree
Silpa Das: Nice place for a team dinner
James Francis: Vegetarian options: Healthy.Parking: Easy valet parking . . Friendly service.
Barbara Shoplock: Close, Convenient and great for that reason. Pasta was wonderful! The rest was just ok...
Christian Hill: Great oysters, salmon with succotash and service - not overpriced at all
Ben Ashman: booth seat was sunken in, piece of vegetable on the seat, table sticky, air control bad on a hot day, soup not good, drink too strong, pasta ok
Andrew and Renee Seaman: The service was really slow and we had to wait 15 minutes to get in and there was only 5 tables full

Juan Carlos P: This place never disappoints. I work in a hotel near by and I can’t stop recommending this beautiful steak joint. One of the best steak house in Boston for sure.
Ty H.: Steak: 8/10Fries: 8/10Chocolate cake: 8/10🔥🔥🔥🙏🏽
Steve Hernandez: I really enjoy dining at Grill 23 & Bar. I make a point of stopping by every April when I'm in town for the Boston Marathon
Levi Snyder: So fire on god no cap 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Okan Yazmacilar: Good service! My friend's steak was too salty but replaced immediately! like the drinks and atmosphere there.
Stephanie Fleurime: Kid-friendliness: Everything was good but I did not get my tots in we pay 18 for it let me know what I can get please
Gabriella: Ambiance was loud and crowded. Service was pretty timely. I would definitely recommend the Roasted Asparagus, Tagliatelle Cacio e Pepe, and French Onion Soup. I was disappointed by the steak in the Steak Frites, which was severely lacking seasoning and was surprised by the poor quality given that it is a steakhouse. However, the parmesan frites in the Steak Frites were delicious.
max radbill: As a former chef, it's one of my passions to try the best restaurants around. For all my years of living in Boston I never got around to trying the famous Grill 23. It truly was a let down. I have never rated any restaurants on Google but I had to say something. While we got seated quickly on a busy Saturday night, it took over 40 minutes for someone to pay attention to us ( not our waiter). Our waiter was too busy paying attention to the table of 10 next to us. We ordered drinks in the first 40 minutes. Finally, our waiter came to us after but was in such a hurry interrupted our order to run to the table behind us.When he did come back he swore at my brothers selection as if we weren't in a fine dining restaurant and we were his buddies. Then telling my brother he was essentially wrong for wanting to order what he did. He was completely inattentive the rest of the night. I had to stop him from running by me just to order another drink. He didn't want to stop but I essentially had to tell him out right that we are his table to.When the food finally arrived an hour later, 3 of 4 of our steaks were cooked improperly. My brother sent his back only to receive it overcooked. He didn't want to deal with it again. A steakhouse with the reputation this place has, I expect top notch service and THE best quality steaks and cooking ability. Neither were demonstrated. We ordered five sides and none of them were better than a 6 on a scale of 1-10, 10 being amazing. It took me a long time to decide to write this but I couldn't let it go.I am sure there are reasons for the overall lack of quality service, food, and skill in cooking/recipe design but when you have the reputation and charge the prices they do, I expect the absolute best.
Chris Sluyter: What’s life without a little risk? For me, it’s a vomitless night where I didn’t eat beef tartare at Grill 23 & Bar. There’s a certain level of said risk when you eat raw beef, so it’s 33% on me, but this trip to Grill 23 left me hugging the toilet in the middle of the night. I’m the only one in a large group that ate it so that was definitely the culprit. Eat the steak, stay away from the beef tartare.
Carlos Malet: Amazing meat and fish, thanks MichaelRecommended dishes Famous Coconut Cake, Filet Mignon 10 Oz …More
Howard Moore: Off the rails. The food and attention to detail were simply impressive . It is with pleasure that I endorse the service ‘ food prep’ at this upscale fine dining establishment .
Jacqueline Kassis: Grill 23 is great a huge restaurant. The food was awesome the service could have been better.
Lana C: Buddy flew in from Cali and took a break from filming so I showed him this gem! He was not disappointed!! Our server was very friendly, attentive, informative. If you are looking for a great steakhouse, this is definitely the right place!
Derek Feifke: Outstanding service and food. Wine list extensive, was able to savor a terrific South African wine. Black forest chocolate cake dessert was dry and only disappointment. Very loud, but did not detract from enjoyable dinner.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

DBA Visual Director: Food, Service and View … outstanding!
Juerg Maier: This place is amazing, great food, great service, and very delicious deserts, combined with a nice scenery

jennifer stelter: This spot is exceptionally beautiful, and the service is second to none. The food, delicious!!! I'm part of a very important healthcare entity and hosted an event here. The servers were so attentive along with all the staff. Sean the manager was so attentive to our group, I could ask him anything. I have to sing my praises to Armando the GM, Jose the head server, and to both Laura and Suzanne the event planners. My group stayed over by a 2 hour length of time, and the group was more than happy to keep us there. Thank you to the excellent staff.
Ramdas Pisharody: Nice ambience , beautiful location by the waterfront and quietly efficient service. The restaurant has private rooms for groups and we availed of one of these. The food wasn’t the highlight. The four stars are for the non-food related attributes.
Veronic Veronic: This place is fantastic! The service was a little bit lazy at the beginning but after we’ve ordered everything went well. The food was excellent. The only downside for me was the lighting inside, too dark (not romantic) for my taste.
Laura Simon: Enjoyed a business dinner here with some in town clients. The nice thing about this restaurant is there is a view of the water from almost any seat, which was stunning. We had an excellent waiter, incredibly professional & very in tune to our needs. The food was solid, timely but not rushed. I had the scallops, a meal I generally would not cook for myself. The bar was lively and seems like a good place to grab a drink in this part of town. The restaurant was loud and a bit crowded, only reason it wasn’t a 5 star for me was the noise level and how crowded it felt.
JEFFERSON PROAÑO: Excellent service. The presentation and taste of the plates are remarkable. Good located and with a nice view. Extensive wine list. Fair price-quality relationship. I'll come back.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

A v R: Nice spot with a beautiful view. Food was really good. Service however was very annoying. Kept asking if we really didn’t want a salad and without asking threw the bill on the table while we were not even finished with our tea. And then also twice checked if we had paid. No tip for them today. Really felt like they wanted us out to make room for others.
Suzanna Trabucco: Tried Chilean sea bass for the first time and really enjoyed it. Served with saffron risottoFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Deb Flaherty: Great environment, ocean view, large beautiful restaurant, food great, large menuParking: Don't miss if you're in the seaport
Jess J: Disappointing and way over-priced. Visiting from Michigan and always like to try local restaurants. Filet was very obviously not seasoned, was overcooked, and sauces were cold. Crispy brussel spouts were so saturated in sauce they were soggy. You have problems when the free bread is the best part of a $250 meal for 2.
