Landmark's Kendall Square Cinema: what do users think?
Greg McGurk: Oh wow! This is THE place to catch a great movie! The staff here is focused on providing a great movie experience for everyone!
Gb O: Good theater overall. But the prices are unreasonable. Especially when their screens have dead pixels on them. $15 for a small can of wine.
Segdrick Russell: Great for Indi movies
Scott Norton: Went to see the Mario movie. Seats in auditorium 3 were large, spacious, sink-in-deep comfy, and they reclined! Plus the volume was at the perfect level - loud enough to hear but not so loud as to overwhelm me. The ambiance was that of a personal home theater that's open to the public. Clean spaces, friendly staff, and excellent wayfinding.
Samm Grayson: Small, quaint theater with really good sightlines and sound for movies
Alex C: Nice theater with comfortable, plush seats. Numbered seating. Good presentation of the movie, and I thought the accent lights around the sides of the theater were pretty cool-looking. Bathrooms were clean and plentiful as well.
David Ricaud: Amazing local theater with a classic multiplex vibe, friendly staff, and a good mix of mainstream and art house movies.
Jin Peh: I always enjoy visiting this cinema with its wide selection of movie releases. There is ample parking available and the cinema is also a short walk away from the MIT station. The restrooms are located on the level above with stairs and elevator access. There was only one counter that accepted cash when purchasing tickets drinks and snacks. The other counters accepted cards only.
Stephen B: Comfortable. Great movies. Discount tickets are the same price as regular tickets.
Katharina Kelm: The employee with long blonde hair deals with significant anger problems. Out of the blue, he shouted at us in explicit language, came super close as to threaten to throw punches and kicked us out of the theater. I strongly discourage everyone from visiting this cinema.
Kelvin: Five minutes after the 7 pm showing of Avatar: The Way of Water ended, the last employee (manager?!) started screaming at us to "GET THE F* OUT" for no reason whatsoever. He started banging at the bathroom door, where our friend had just entered, and kicked us out to wait for our Uber in the cold. That behavior came out of nowhere, was completely unreasonable and incredibly scary. "Don't come back, I do not want your business" - honestly, gladly.
Michael Lee: An employee was incredibly aggressive and rude toward our group after a movie ended. We were waiting inside for our Uber but he kicked us out in the cold, heckling us the entire time. He told us to “never come back” and I will definitely oblige. Never had such a rude interaction before.
Zenn: Very nice place.
Eli Gelfand: Best theater in Boston
fred Wanger: Easy parking, great seats, best quality movies: What more is there?
Duc Hoang: Black Panther 2 goes from a 1/10 movie to a 2.5/10 movie in this theater!!! A 250% increase!!!
Maureen Guiliani: Was there Saturday and was very dissatisfied with the management because I'm disabled with a feeding tube threating me out of the movies and didn't can
Brooke Pennington: Great selection of independent and foreign films. Parking nearby and also accessible by public transit.
Michael Berube: Great theater for both Arthouse & Mainstream movies, fantastic seating, just a few minutes walk from Kendall/MIT
William “Rhino Reviews” Clark: Attended a private showing of a documentary on women in the Boston music scene. Really nice theater with quality sound and comfy seats.
Iah House: Nice movie theater

The Brattle Theatre: what do users think?
Michael Berube: Fantastic/Eclectic choices for showings, tickets that aren't too bad, near to the Harvard Square T/Parking Garages... An Arthouse Lovers dream
Michael Jenkins: Came to see “Fremont” as part of the IFF.Loved the movie. Love the venue.
Stephen Kluczkiewicz: Went to an afternoon showing on the Sunday of the Boston Underground Film Festival with my daughter. It was an hour and a half animated shorts collection my brother put together, and it was very interesting and entertaining. Lots of talent from these artists that my daughter appreciated as she's studying animation. The Brattle is an old style theater for those who haven't been there. No seats that tilt back or hold your drink, but they were comfortable to me for the hour and 40 minutes I sat in my seat. I know they show older movies here, so definitely a fun place to go for a date or night out. Also, it's right near Harvard Square, so there are plenty of places to eat before or after the movie. Definitely worth going here.
David Finn: Cinematic Paradise. Any opportunity to catch a movie at the Brattle is a great one. Helpful, knowledgeable staff. Fantastic concessions, including popcorn with REAL BUTTER. I adore the Brattle!!!
Sami Shahin: This theater is a gem. Classics, Indies, foreign films; this theater has it all!
Nabil Nasser: A film enthusiast's paradise
Alex C: Charming theater in a gorgeous area of town. I've been wanting to catch one of their showings of older sci-fi/horror flicks but have yet to have the opportunity. I did get to catch the annual Bugs Bunny Film Festival, however, which was a blast!
David Eynisfeld: Fantastic little theater, cool bathrooms
Mark Carper: Historic place, great movies all the time... What else? Oh! Popcorn with real butter! I'm a fan for life - as is my recently-15 year old!
Steven Clancy: They make you wear a mask. No other theater requires that.
Caitlin Belle Isle: I love coming here, I’ve seen Ottessa Moshfegh talk about her new book, the documentary Meet me in the bathroom, and Wes Anderson’s movie The Royal Tennenbaums. It’s always really clean and the building is absolutely beautiful. Masks are required and although they are offered at the door I would recommend bringing your own. Also, don’t sit upstairs if you’re short you won’t have a great view lol.
John Jj: Awesome classic theatre
Michael Pierce: Both the Brattle and Coolidge Corner Cinema are mainstays for me as I'm a perpetual deep dive cinephile, love all kinds of foreign as well as the classics, nor, technicolor, anything Kubrick and Welles etc
douglas roberts: Classic art film theatre, excellent programming.
Steve Hiday: This is an excellent film house in Cambridge. The frequently show awesome doubleheaders of old-school cult flicks. Recently saw Mad Max Thunderdome here (part 2 of a Mad Max double feature.) Another fave was Brazil and 2001 Space Odyssey. Check the listings often!Olympic Otter
J. Mark Carper,_Ed.D.: Still fab after all these years! Son and I each have season tic - a bargain AND supports a great Cambridge "institution" (which term I use in the best way(s) possible!)
Francesco: Wonderful cinema to see the classics.
Michele Delfino: So glad to share this theatre w our 16 yo. His first 35mm film. Pee Wee's Big Adventure on the big screen.
cheer: Lovely theater!
Julia Cooper: One of my favorite places! Always a delight catching a movie here. If I had more time I'd probably be here several times a week, but alas.
Kirk Hardy: Intimate theatre that plays a very well curated set of some new releases but mostly film series type stuff. Lots of great double features, lots of stuff you always wanted to see in a theatre but couldn't. They also do some great showings coupled with Q&As with people involved or knowledgeable. Go see something! Even if it's just whatever they have playing that day.

Regal Fenway & RPX: what do users think?
Angela Kawai Chan: The end of an era… this place will be missed.
Francesco Petrillo: they Have the best customer service staff
Bhumi Malani: Regal Fenway....10-15 screens, decent size .. great audio.. comfortable chairs..Food options has only pizza and chips.Beer is available but at a costly price.Overall it's 8.5/10
Babalola Oladele: Thank you for the precious movies and service
Jayesh Rana: Really nice movie theatre with "luxury" seats with an electric recline (you can make it fully flat like a bed). The theatres are about the same size as other chain theatres, but there's significantly less seating because of the reclining chairs.Note that I didn't get any concessions.
Ahmad Al husban: سينما رائعه والجميل في الامر ان الحجز اون لاين لا تحتاج للدخول للازدحام.انصح بزيارتها
Mr Chickie: A little more expensive than AMC, but wayyy better chairs than AMC,and fewer people per theatre.
Kevin Bode: I really love this cinema. The chairs are so comfortable you can almost fall asleep. I am so sad that Regal Boston is closing soon...
Ayomiposi Oyewo: Amazing environment and friendly staffs also a comfortable
Shafi Nazrin: Comfortable seats. Custmer service desk is amazing
Wasi Jee: I really enjoyed my money here it's memorable, beautiful interior design, well organized, good space and comfortable chairs, interesting movies and snacks. Lovely ♥️
Jamar Moore: This theater will be closing soon I believe, however, the experience was still nice. Sad to see another theater in the area close. Saw Avatar in 3D and it was BEAUTIFUL. Enjoy the theater while you can!
Osho Tosin: Regal Fenway is the best Cinema. Very comfortable and accommodating.
Sreenivas Duggineni: Lisa at customer service desk is amazing. I had booked the wrong time by mistake and she kindly understood and allowed me to see other time. She explained that although parking says $55 for game days, they will validate for only $5. She is friendly and helpful. Also appreciate Daniel and Eliel for their assistance.
Hasna Merhi: Comfortable seating. Clean and neat theater. Large popcorn and drink deals are good. They also give free refils for large stuff.
mahmoud kandel: سينما جميلة وأفلام رائعة
stan smith: A place a have fun time with family..dine in availability I like...comfortable seating..attractive enviroment
emily klein: Good theater experience, the only thing that was a down side was the chairs to sit in to watch the movie we're very warn.. definitely could use an upgrade on the seating
Abdohamis Tran: Good screens, great fully reclining seats. Snacks are standard movie theater prices, but I do appreciate the selection + full bar.
Lamech Chebe: It has really been a great experience in such places. I enjoyed every bit of it

Showcase SuperLux Chestnut Hill: what do users think?
David Rajfer: Best movie theater in the area hands down. Pricey but worth it especially if, like me, you only go out to a few movies a year and want to make it an experience.
Maribel Colorado: The best thing about this Showcase was the SEATS - like sitting on a faux-leathery cloud. Even though we were in the second row, my neck certainly did not feel it. The was TONS of leg room between the rows even after we placed our chairs in (practically) complete recline mode. A beautiful combo of watching a comedy at a movie theatre and enjoying a movie in your living room. We watched The Super Mario Bros Movie and and I certainly felt that I enjoyed the movie that much more because of the cinematic experience at Showcase!(We did not order any food or drink so cannot speak to that - sorry!)
Mimi M: If I could give zero stars I would and I truly Hope corporate sees why the hell are you guys trying not to show the movie nefarious too controversial for you? When hollyweird puts a movie mocking God it is broadcasted everywhere but when it’s to glorify Him and spread the truth it’s a problem? There’s over about 20 different movie theaters near where I live and yet somehow I have to drive over an hour and a half just to go watch this movie because there’s no other movie theaters around me that wants to show it.
Ana Lezama: Excellent movie Teather. It has a bar in place. You can order in the app, and a staff member will bring your order to your seats at any time during the movie. The seats are wonderful. Large and very comfortable. They recline almost horizontally. The headrest is also settable at the position that is better for you. The space between rows is huge. Each seat has a movable mini table where you will have a menu of food, coctails, beers, snacks, and drinks
Ivory King, any pronouns: Nice seats but definitely the front row is completely impossible. Why do theaters still have a row that you can't see it's too close and you ruin your neck? They search your bag and ask you to dump your water. Pretty sad.
Peter Burman: My son and I attended a movie on April 9, 2023. I won't bore anyone with the details but we had EXCELLENT customer service from the young man at the ticket counter (whose name I regrettably did not get) and his manager, James T. Those two guys were incredibly kind and helpful and contributed to my son and I having an amazing experience. BTW, the seats in the theater were very comfortable and spacious. One of the best movie theaters I've ever attended.
pad256: I would love to give a 5 star on this, I just can't, the servers where honestly a bit rude, like hey take this food from the tray. Its pitch dark and you can't see what's what on the tray. Pen lights would be handy to help patrons see what that are getting. The food was very good just not hot. Luke warm onion rings where still crispy and flavorful. I really enjoyed the seating and the full bar service felt almost as comfy as home. No room for snacks which I enjoy while watching a film. Not sure I would go back for dinner whilst catching the latest feature. Drinks and snacks make more sense to me if I return.
Jude Alfaro: Great theater sat in super lucrative seats. Great service, pretty good food.
Michael Lord: Great place to go for a movie, food and drinks.. great bunch of people who work there. Clean convenient, plenty of parking.🥨🍔🍟🥓🍕🌭🍫🍪🍿
Daphne Doron: We loved our experience here! The staff is great all around!
munch351651: Great service. Good food. Awesome seats that have heat and recline, even the head rest. So worth the money for a night at the movies!!
Rajesh Rajagopal: Excellent selection of food. This is one of the few theaters in America where I can eat upscale restaurant food while watching a movie. My favorite is the Thai chicken bites, and they serve other meals with hard plates rather than plastic boxes like AMC theaters do. And they bring the food to you instead of you waiting at a narrow countertop for 5-15 minutes like in Showcase Woburn or AMC Burlington. However, this theater only has 4 theater rooms whereas some other theaters in this area have like 16. But, since it’s smaller, perhaps that’s why it’s easier to clean. Every time I come here, it is super clean and feels grand like I’m walking into a 5 star hotel. Whereas some other larger theaters are dirtier.
Anthony Perry: Movie was good food horrible
Michael Sanford: My (adult) daughter I went to see John Wick at this theatre as we are big Wick fans and wanted to get the best experience possible. We loved the seats and features there but we received marginal service and the food was terrible. I don’t right reviews unless things are great or terrible. This was terrible. We ordered chips and guacamole and the Nachos. The chips were tasteless and the salsa and guach were cheap store brands. The nachos were barely drizzled with a cheap liquid cheese like product. It had no taste. They tossed a couple of peppers that you could pretend were jalapeños only they didn’t have a taste either. We got popcorn at the outset as a tradition and even THAT was stale. We will not order food even again at this theatre.
ilknur yalazan: Great experience!
Craig Capello: Every theater should be this nice and comfortable. Spaced out seating, upgraded seating, and did I mention the seating is a-m-a-z-i-n-g! The screens are gorgeous and the sound is immersive. Open late and connected to Davios.
Alex Issokson: Very comfortable seating and great movie viewing experience. I saw Creed III (it’s been a while since I’ve been back to this theatre) and had a great time. Picture and sound were 5/5 quality. Chair is comfy and reclines back. We also ordered some food which was also really good—great burgers and fries! Unfortunately since I was eating during the movie, I could not take a picture :)
Tayah Pettus: When me and my father see Creed lll, it was so awesome!
Tom Nosov: No crowd like in Majestic.
Justin Shaw: Yo... So let me tell you how DOPE this theater is. First of all, the staff is SUPER friendly (you know, "SuperLux" and all). They greet you and love to strike up conversation. They give you clear advice about how to navigate the theater, how to best order food/drinks, etc. The theater itself is spotless clean! It feels like an occasion, and makes you feel like you are more important than you probably are. I mean, have you seen the carpets?! Oh ok. And the SEATS. The PLUSH LEATHER SEATS are........DIVINE. It feels like you are sitting in a Benz. They recline all the way back - they go all the way back (Fat Joe voice)! Ugh it feels like a bed you can't afford, or you can but don't deserve. It's SO nice. You won't want to enjoy a movie any other way. Ordinary creaky seats just won't do. Just go to the SuperLux and see for yourself.
Liz LeBlanc: I went to this theatre a couple weeks ago and will never go back. There were rats throughout the theatre and when it was brought to the attention of a staff member, they seemed to be aware of the situation. Completely shocked this was not something addressed immediately and continued business as usual.

AMC Boston Common 19: what do users think?
T Lemmo: Rode hard, put away wet no where to sit if you're waiting besides a bar, seats are from goodwill
Greg Palmer: Someone must have thrown a drink at the screen, it's noticeably stained :(Theater 18
Chante: The seats are nice but last few times I visited the lobby was dirty.
Christine Coates: Went to see Air back in April at AMC Boston Common 19. It was a special showing and I got to meet the CEO of AMC, Adam Aron. What an outstanding guy. The staff were super helpful throughout the night. They helped make sure everybody who wanted to meet with AA could, were well coordinated and very polite. Great movie also!
Georgia Parke: If you need a closed caption device, do not go to this theater. Have tried multiple times and they don't have functioning devices despite advertising that they do. The employees are very kind and try their best to help, but unfortunately AMC the corporation does not care about accessibility and doesn't have working technology.
Michael Metz: The movie screen had large and very visible smudging on it.
Gajan Sivapathasundaram: They show all the new movies including Tamil. The place could do with a clean up however.
Ajay Ramesh: Expensive $$$ and seats 💺 are not comfortable.
Rosemarie Hunter: It was good the movie was very funny nice place to go to the movies
Stacey B: Great theater with an old look right off the common. There was pretty much no one there - total ghost town. I bought my own ticket with the self checkout without any human interaction just the way I like it.
Ananda Mishra: My go to movie theater. Love the place and also the pretty good selection of food and beverages options for a theater.
Angela Pacheco: Loved this location!
Kwadwo Akomea-Agyin: A little old but still gets the job done.
Will Mcclain: Not bad but seats don't recline and everything closes super early
Елена Кара: Never liked this place- always dirty, never clean the room. Went there for a boston film festival, otherwise won't go there anymore
lsf: I met Adam Aron and watched AIR. Enough said. Investor for life! $APE $HYMC $AMC
Nick: Dirty and sitting is outdated
Michael Johnson: Awesome
Apes atAMC and Around the World: Thank you @CEOAdam for an amazing, unforgettable night. #ApesTogetherStrong #AMC
Kyla Gunnell: Love this AMC the workers are ALWAYS friendly and answer all my questions! The snack bar also has friendly workers. I do wish they would upgrade their seats but 5 stars for great customer service.
Tyler Orleans: Now that the Regal in Fenway closed, this is my closest option. A dirty, decrepit, rundown theater. Sprawling halls of faded, sticky carpet. The old cloth seats smell like mildew and permanent BO. The AMC in Assembly is only slightly better.

IMAX 3D Theater at Jordan's Furniture Reading: what do users think?
Denise Schmidt: Loved it! Got good seats, Guardians of the Galaxy was excellent! Seats rumbling went great with movie!
Shawn Castonguay: 3D IMAX is awesome
Diomedes Ventura: I don't know why they charge a processing fee for each ticket instead of the whole transaction.Ripoff.
Ana: A great place to spend a few hours. Where else can you go to grab a burger, watch an IMAX movie, get geared up to do a challenging high rope concourse (if you aren't afraid of heights), eat the smoothest and most delicious ice cream and shockingly great cup of coffee while catching your breath seated listening to good music playing as you watch a beautiful light show of Esther Williams type water falls and finally...grab a pound of Jelly Belly Beans or other deliciousness on your way out. Oh, wait! I forgot to mention that if you have the time and energy, you still don't have to go anywhere else to go shopping for furniture for EVERY room in your house. You haven't left the building or spent money on gas driving around to do each of the activities I mentioned.
Craig Pressley: Excellent experience, theater is huge, sound is terrific. Certainly a great place to watch that summer big budget movie.
Jason Rackliff: Saw John Wick 4 here. I have always loved the Imax experience. Wish every theater was an Imax! Only way it could be better is to have recliner seating, but the seats they do have are very comfortable and in great shape.
Alex Drake (Adrake1234): Screen big john wick 4 not 3D that's big sad
Tiandra Robart: Hard to find the theater and it was freezing in there but , I went to she Black Panther Wakanda Forever for my first time ever seeing IMAX and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I will never watch a movie at the theater any other way.
Benjamin Corduck: If you looking for the largest, sharpest, widest, most complete movie experience which also includes butt kickers this is your movie theater.
Atlas Gataki: Had a great time watching Avatar 2 here back in December. The store closed before the movie started which proved to be beneficial as I did not have the weight of a looming coffee table or night stand purchase in my near future. I was truly able to relax knowing that the only purchases I could make in the complex were concessions. This is the best movie theater in the area that I have been to. No one else compares to the size of this screen. They do not have the fancy recliner seats, but quite frankly, they don't need them. I sat in the front row and even that viewing angle was comfortable for a three hour long movie. The best part is that tickets here were less than other theaters, but their theater is clearly a better experience. I am hoping they will be showing Oppenheimer when it comes out later this year.
Daniel Bergen: The screen is good and the sound is good but the rest sucks. The configuration of the auditorium is off so that unless you sit in the very last row you're going to be looking up. The auditorium was freezing cold in the middle of February. I personally didn't care for the vibrating seats. There's no sign even where the theater is when you enter Jordans. And it's $16 but they don't tell you they charge $2 for the 3d glasses (why???) and you don't even get to keep them. You get to pay so you can see the movie you just paid for. Seats are uncomfortable too.
Juana Aracena: The best theater
Aldo Romano: Always a good time. Interactive expierence.
Rui Alves (incognito2): Best IMAX/theater experience ever! I would recommend visiting this cinema at least once even if you are from out of town.
Justjoe6453 Richardson: Only way to see a movie.
Jeff Kemp: IMAX 3D, great experience, fabulous seating!
Milton Alvarez: Saw Avatar and yes the seats rumble!
Alex Kaplan: Got tickets online twice. Got there and there is no seats. 2 hour drive there and back for nothing.
Ron LaPierre: Theater experience is the best! Sound is awesome and movie views are spectacular. Popcorn is good too! However, staff is pushy and not friendly (inside theater), but outside team members are nice.
Fred Langa: Decent mid-sized IMAX theater, although the lack of reserved seating makes getting good seats harder.
Ricky Fichtner: Never disappoints. Not all Imax theaters are equal. This screen and audio visual experience is on another level.

Landmark's Embassy Cinema: what do users think?
Rocco Leone: A wonderful place to see a movieI love their outdoor marquee, So sad that it's closing!
Jonathan Sheffi: Solid parking and staff is nice, but the facility is just too old and run-down. Someone needs to buy this and renovate it.
Jody West: Great place, great staff. I had a wonderful Movie experience like I was looking to get from an old school theater. Super cool, hope it sticks around forever
Sebastian Lopez: Pretty much all the food and beverages from this place are expire!! 👎
Dave Stefanovic: Love our hometown theater. Still sparsely attended, but the concession stand is cranking. My favorite place for big-screen movies.
Simon Huynh: Good theater and at a convenient spot. The price is good.
patrick neville: amazing staff and great theaters, always clean and well maintained, great parking and just a solid place to see a movie
Eyal Cohen: Although the location is convenient for me, I was really disappointed throughout my movie watching experience. The screen was quite small and the brightness was too low during trailers and the movie. The sound quality was abhorrent, the volume was way too low, the clarity was poor, and the audio overall was very muffled. These factors made it difficult to get into the movie. I hope that this theater can invest in proper sound systems, otherwise I'd advise audience members to go to another theater or watch from home. This isn't the movie theater experience you're looking for.
Grayson Kempster: Quaint little movie theater. The restrooms are upstairs.
Percy Moss: Movie theaters just aren't this magical anymore. Do I need to have seat side service, reclining chairs? No I do not! I miss the days of $7 dollar Tuesdays, small screen theaters that smell like nostalgia and extra butter. This exactly what this is, and exactly what I needed in this frigid weather. I'll be sure to come back!
Ramiro Massol: Wish more leg space between seats
Kjkjkj jm: Price and experience there were great. Free parking on Sunday
Justin Kwiatkowski: I enjoyed it. Reasonable prices& clean place to watch film. Would appreciate if they turned on the heat, before customers arrived next time.
dave: Exceptionally nice staff and manager who are willing to accommodate a guest's situation
Peter Fahey: Nice to have them back VERY comfortable to enjoy the movie
Allana G: Staff was extremely nice. Felt very welcome. Recommend to anyone visiting
Надежда Бригодан: Please add children's films and cartoons to watch.
SelfEsteemArchitect: This is an awesome theater and they make the best popcorn 🍿. Family run business that has kept the integrity of the space. Love it and can't wait for them to open up!!!!
Clover Lopez: My favorite place for relaxing myself watching a movie. Love it
Lux Llama Productions: It’s an old theater and seems outdated but I’m fine with that and it makes it to be unique and a neat aesthetic. It’s a great movie theater and in a convenient location. I recommend this theater, I’ve been going to it for a number of years and still do continue to return
h. amaral: It’s great to have a theater at my city and I do go often see a movie at least 2ice aMonth... their website is well done with lots of upcoming movies and general info ... good place for other functions as well ...

Coolidge Corner Theatre: what do users think?
Alex C: Great theater with an excellent selection of films. Comfortable and ample seating and a fantastic sound system. I went to see one of my favorite films, Akira, and the sound blew me away. There calendar is full of classics, too. I'd be here all the time if I lived closer.
Sarrah Marcotte: LOVE this place, the people are super kind, it has a very vintagey movie theatre vibe. Prices are exactly where they need to be, bar service was great, and they have classic movie theatre snacks. They also always have such great movie selections and fun after midnight movies' sometimes too. I would go here 1000% over any other kind of chain movie theatre.
Abi Varsos: Quite possibly my favorite place in the world, I have literally never had a bad experience at Coolidge Corner Theater. With a variety of spaces for all different types of viewings, you seriously cannot go wrong! I used to live around the corner, and I definitely took that for granted! Every time I go, I wonder why I don’t go more often. What movie should I see next?
Nivea Bona: Very full premiere of Chevalier. The theater is cozy and well organized.
Dan Peluso: Best cinema in Boston, by far. So much heart here, the lovely theaters and events will put the spirit of movies in your soul. They have plenty of events that show movie classics, and be sure to buy tickets for special events far in advance because they do pack the main theater. Movies typically start 15min after the online time.
Isaac Blodgett: Best theater ever. Absolutely worth the ticket price
Anke Roost: Great place!
Isaac Balinski: Great movie selection, great general atmosphere. Sign up for their newsletter to get a calendar of movies!
RoadTrip NewEngland: One of our favorite places to catch an indie flick in town. An historic an beautiful theatre, they run special film series, and the occasional crossover author reading from Booksmith across the street (I’ve seen John Waters, and Werner Herzog speak here in the past). It’s become our go to theatre for every new Wes Anderson movie- and you’ll find their schedule full of art films, foreign language, and independent cinema releases. Lots to do, shop, and eat in Coolidge Corner- so make a whole afternoon for it. Located on the C Line of the Green Line, it’s also easily reached via bus from Allston and Brookline Village.
Ahmed Eid: Small theatre feels like hanging out in your living from, but with better scree, sounds, and strangers.
Valentine: Cinéma traditionnel magnifique
Ramon Ham: I'm impressed with this place.!!! Very nice. Me quede impresionado con este lugar!! Muy bonito.
J. Mark Carper,_Ed.D.: Love this old place ... I've watched movies, performed (in Coolidge Corner Community Chorus) and win a fabulous baby shower cake in this place. In my way again, tonight, to see a film with my son, NC-Y ❤️
Ken Yin: If you ever want to experience cinema, by that I mean the good old fine cinema, this is the place. All the masters work from Stanley Kubrick to Akira Kurosawa… the best of the best!
Jim Bowley: The Coolidge Corner Theatre, long an institution for its curation of interesting film an cinema is even more essential now in its programming in a world in which streaming services openly proclaim “90 minutes or less” or “60 minutes of less” as the right timing gates for engaging in great film. There are some films that deserve the kind of focus, concentration and engagement that you only get when you invest the time to watch closely. The Coolidge Corner is best in the metro at curating these experiences through selected new releases, film festivals but most important classic films not played elsewhere. I’ve been seeing films here for years but never appreciated it more than today.
Brian Fox: Another amazing Brookline gem. Best independent movie theater in the countr!
Coral Ashley: Love the Coolidge xx
sean: “If you don’t go to this theater, you aren’t cool.”-Johnathan Fitzgerald Kennedy (local)
Dianne Kaeli: I love this place.
Johanna Hughes: Fabulous venue
Duncan Grant: As enjoyable as the movies themselves

Somerville Theatre: what do users think?
Albert Sisson: Lovely old theatre. Seats are very narrow. Small stage. Parking is difficult. Small municipal lot near by, T station next door.
Shena the Diva: What an amazing venue! It's quite charming and quaint in it's historical way! I personally want to thank Amanda, Ms. Connie and the phenomenal Usher's for their extreme support, care and attention to detail. They made my personal challenge, "To Get Out of My Way" really to work! I came out to see the beautifully talented Sona Jobarteh in not such good weather and some kind of crazy traffic jam, but I made it! What an unforgettable and mesmerizing performance! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾Bravo! ❤
SC: Very kind staffs, good event : independent film festival
Paula Collins: Fun little theater. Parking was easier than expected in Davis Square too!
Ivo Floyd: Great Atmosphere and helpful staff
Anthony F: Great venue and experience. It is a small place inside, so be wary when the house is full, but the snack bar and options are plentiful. The floor is sticky, so be prepared to have a bit of a tough time while getting to your seats.
Luke Malone: vintage theater, great vibes, great film selection. good popcorn with real butter, beer on tap, kind staff. had an experience getting a flat tire a few blocks away when I had tickets to a movie, staff was kind and understanding, gave vouchers since we missed 80% of the movie going out to get a tow. would be back regardless but it meant a lot on a rough evening.
Cream Tee: We went to see Sona Jobarteh conceryamd had a good experience. Staff was nice and parking lot is close by. The only issue is the seats are a tight fit. Other than that everything was great!
gypsy girl: I remember going to this movie theater as a little girl . I sat up in the balcony and saw pippi longstockings in the '70s it was one of my best childhood memories the movie theater has not changed much! I thoroughly enjoyed the movie we saw!
Saul Horowitz: Best movie theater in the Boston area.
Sherie C: More a testament of the times than the venue, the crowd was very obnoxious.
Charlie Lindler (King Recycle): Great cute theater.
Federico Stoppato: Old style movie theater. Boring draft on people's neck
Øystein R.: I love it, it's everything that's great about cinema. Fantastic old main theater and gloriously divy smaller ones in the basement. Good beer selection
Sami Shahin: Saw Cocaine Bear here a few weeks ago. Saw The Hateful Eight on film here YEARS ago. Love this place
Gino Geruntino: Nice venue, though you should be prepared for a tight squeeze into their theater seats.
sara: Lovely theater. It's not very large but the atmosphere was pleasant. Hated that there was no parking for the event nearby but that's just the area I suppose.
Ryan Forest: elite
Radio OfHorror: Amazing theater Ian and his staff run a great theater with amazing events. Love coming here for the for Boston Sci-fi Film Fest
Justin Spognardi: Charming and historic local theater I always prefer to see movies at if I can. Four stars because the man behind the counter was very rude and short with my friend and I last night and we were both put in a bad mood for the evening because of it. Ill be back, but I felt I had to share.
Rob Gant: My favorite place to see films. Especially indie and experimental stuff.
