She was subjected to physical and emotional abuse, and filed a complaint for a restraining order after her apartment was broken into and valuables stolen. In retaliation to that filing, the boyfriend’s former spouse filed a harassment complaint against my daughter in a different court. My daughter was angry, exhausted, and in desperate need of help. Attorney Rakhlin listened carefully and offered much-needed guidance and support to help her through the preparation for court filings and appearances. He encouraged her to be ready to testify, and told her what to expect in the courtroom, based on his years of experience representing clients in similar proceedings. He forcefully represented her before two different judges, both by videoconference and by personal appearance. He obtained a successful order against the offender, and obtained a dismissal of the retaliatory complaint against my daughter. She was enormously relieved, and was able to begin to put her life back together. As a father, I was grateful for his expert representation and his kindness in communicating with my daughter. I offer a strong recommendation for Attorney Rakhlin’s ability to help others in a similar situation.

Shaneeya Brown: I just contacted the office of the Attorney. The receptionist continues to tell me that she isn't a lawyer but based off what I told her she automatically assumed that it is a civil case after being told it was not and I needed to be represented by an attorney. The staff was unprofessional and is a bad representation for her firm. She went from telling me that the attorney was in trial and it would be a while before she can get back to me and them stated that it could be a few weeks after questioning her. This shouldn't fall on the attorney for this woman behavior but she is a product of her environment as well if she allows this woman behavior towards potential clients.

Boston Money: I would not refer Benjamin Duggan for anything regarding criminal matters.I was appointed Benjamin by West Roxbury District court. In my experience, he put in a few motions with no meat. I believe he works with the Judge and DA behind the scenes. Didnt put up 1 bit of a fight! He was supposed to put in a motion to suppress in my case based on Delaware VS Franks. Instead, he did it based on the 4 corner's of a affidavit without any physical evidence. I fired him! He kept trying to get me to take a deal even though I have a weak case! I definitely wouldn't recommend him to anyone I know!

Matthew: My wife and I had an incident, involving our firearms and as a result, an attorney was needed. (No shots fired) Specifically, we needed one who specializes with Second Amendment Rights. While I was not the most emotionally put together, Mr. Peterson listened and provided empathy and levity as necessary, and proceeded to deliver the most cautiously laid spiderweb trap of cross examination for the person who brought the charges to admit I hadn't done anything. It was beautiful and vindicating to listen to the prosecutor and the plaintiff sputter at his most winsome delivery, and his final communication to me was a fun little joke joke. While I don't imagine I'll be needing criminal defense again for a state I don't even live in anytime soon, Mr. Peterson will be the one to contact if I do.
