James Waldroop: Frankly, I was skeptical about the whole thing. I'm a scientist and thought it would be "New Age-y." I was incredibly impressed by Eli's professionalism, by the way the treatment was tailored to address my individual needs (nothing "off-the-shelf, everybody gets this" about it), and by how clearly he explained what he was doing (and why) and what I needed to do between sessions. I was --and still am-- blown away by how much it helped me.

I am an athlete who wants to rehab injuries as soon as possible and get back at it. Dr. Tran is a terrific listener and always seems to be one step ahead of treatment plans not only to address current concerns but be proactive about preventing injury. Michael Corrente: I didn’t want to feel like the pillsbury doughboy anymore! In all seriousness, I was feeling stuck in my fitness routine. I’m 57 years old, lead a healthy lifestyle and had been trying to maximize the results of my exercise routine. I felt I had reached a plateau and needed help to get more tone and definition - all with a routine that was manageable with my schedule. I did a quick google search and found information about AUM Training Center. I reached out and Coach Chris got back to me within 15 minutes of my inquiry. He let me know that they would be able to build a program to meet my fitness goals as well as fit into my hectic schedule. I have been going to AUM for the past 3 months working with Nicole and Skyler. I have seen consistent results from the personally designed training sessions. AUM has had an impact on my physical health as well as my mental wellbeing . They are such a supportive and positive team that I immediately feel better as soon as I walk through the door. The results have been better than I anticipated. I would highly recommend AUM to anyone interested in personal training services.

Kevin Hupp: I’ve never felt especially comfortable in a gym and have always wished I was in better/more functional shape. After a lot of stops and starts with lifting and fitness, I made it a goal to start with personal training in 2022! Researching around, Aum had tons of great reviews and I took a shot at the consultation. Chris was instantly engaging and helpful, he took care to talk through my goals with me and walk me through what I could expect if I started with Aum. I ultimately wanted to work on strength and aesthetics- I’m a skinny dude and my nutrition is adequate so I didn’t need to fully reaudit my diet but these are absolutely the people I’ll go to when I’m ready to upgrade there! I’ve been lucky enough to do a three month session with Nicole who strikes an incredible balance between being knowledgeable, motivating, and fun. My anxiety/embarrassment about not knowing what I was doing was gone in a session and I was EXCITED to come and train twice a week. I learned what it felt like to have a great workout and focused on my form and body awareness which have translated into results and success in my non-Aum workout. Sessions were challenging but never discouraging and I always left in a better mood than when I came in. The facility is well maintained and they’re always trying new/cool equipment, I was almost always the only client in the gym (which I loved since I got to pick the tunes!) and I never felt crowded or rushed. The team is flexible and proactive with session scheduling and the app works really well to track workouts outside of the facility. Highly recommend this place, just be mindful and transparent about your goals and they will work hard to get you there! A+, Aum has really improved my life!

David Bau: Aum is amazing. I came in after recovering from an ankle sprain, completely out of shape, with the hope of losing pandemic pounds and avoiding more injuries. Coach Nicole tailored workouts for my goals - she is a very skilled trainer and in every session she has adjusted exercises pretty carefully based on where I've been specifically strong or weak or inflexible. The effects of two hours of weekly workouts were very noticeable very quickly, making me more solid on my feet almost right away, and then making me stronger all around over time. With friendly nudging and encouragement, Nicole has also been helping me develop a better diet and a more active lifestyle outside the gym. She tracks body composition, measurements, weight over time, and helps me track my diet. Over time that has made a huge difference. Over six months so far, I am much leaner, stronger, and healthier overall, and I have picked up a lot of healthy habits. Totally recommended.

As a former college athlete, I relied heavily on sports and teammates to stay in shape and hold me accountable. Roxie D: At the beginning of the quarantine, as I was about to turn 50, I told my friend that this was a turning point- either we needed to keep ourselves strong & healthy or we’d let ourselves go with no turning back.Although there were good intentions, I had little motivation to exercise with all the stress of work, childcare, housework etc. 24/7- not to mention a profound loss. Coach Chris called me soon after and had such a kind and engaging manner, I decided to meet with him to get more info and check out the studio. I immediately felt at home. Chris was completely down to earth, the studio had the warm energy of a yoga studio and none of the pretension of a gym. We had a great conversation about my experience with weight, fitness, yoga and running, then set realistic and attainable goals. Chris matched me up with Coach Ozzy who I immediately connected with because I got a very familial vibe from him. He was very flexible in scheduling as I had a very limited time window. He also provided me with delicious healthy recipes and reminded me that, rather than “dieting”, actually eating healthy meals is the key to success. Ozzy knows how to test my limits without pushing me so hard that I give up. One of my favorite things about him is that he is respectful of my own knowledge and integrates that into the plan. An extra bonus is that have great conversations too! Each workout is filled with music, laughter, and sweat!I started working out with him twice a week and being more conscious about food intake. Within weeks, I felt better, slept better and began noticing a change. Clothes began fitting differently and I had to start digging into the back of my closet for smaller sizes.Circling back to my friend, who has always been one of my biggest cheerleaders and greatest motivators. He will now be joining me at Aum and we’ll be working out together with Ozzy. Looking forward to continuing this journey and staying healthy together with a pact to never let the other let themself go! Thanks to Aum, Coach Chris and Coach Ozzy, who will definitely keeps us on track!
Adriane Klein: I joined AUM last year following two major surgeries that left me with a complication that I wasn’t entirely sure how to navigate with regards to exercise. I was looking to learn how to work out with the new restriction while getting stronger at the same time which is exactly what happened while working with Coach Ozzie. My physical therapist had told me I would never be able to lift overheard heavier then 8 pounds and we easily quadrupled that in under 6 months. He definitely pushed me when I needed and didn’t take my complaints (which were often) when it came to doesn’t an excercise I didn’t like. AUM is a great facility and a really fun place to train. Everyone there is very encouraging in your journey regardless of if they are your coach. I learned a lot that I am able to incorporate confidently on my own which is especially useful following the future surgeries I will have to undergo. Highly recommend AUM and Ozzie to anyone and everyone!

I had pain on my left eye, left face, and the left side of my body in general, and after 4 sessions with Michael, a lot of my pain disappeared and I am now able to do my work full time! He won’t make you take excessive, unnecessary sessions if not needed but instead will try to treat his patients as fast as he can.Here’s the detailed story of my pain:I’m a 30 old woman and I’ve been feeling sick time to time for the past few years without clear reason. I got physical therapy before and it helped me a bit. Then, around 8 months ago, my eyes started to hurt a lot. I have to use a computer every day for work, but eye pain affected my work as well as my life. I went to see an eye doctor, neurologist, and my primary care doctor but they were not able to find out the reason or treat my eye pain. In addition to the eye pain, i started to have pain on the left side of my face and body. I went to get physical therapy but it wasn’t helping me. I was really frustrated and depressed. Then I did some googling and found out that my left eye and facial pain might be related to TMJ. So I went to see a dentist and they recommended me to get a mouth guard but no more than that. After more googling for TMJ treatment, I found Michael and booked my session with him. After around 3 sessions, I could feel that a lot of my eye pain was gone and I was able to do work full-time as I used to. I’m really happy that I met Michale and I would highly recommend him if you have some unknown pain that the doctors cannot diagnose.

On several occasions, I've had a near-incapacitating problem that Mike addressed in a single visit. In these instances, the treatment felt borderline miraculous. Other times, he's helped me work through chronic problems over a number of weeks. Mike is incredibly thoughtful about his patient care, thoughtfully assessing the problem and then reaching into his diverse bag of techniques to apply the right combination of treatments. He always takes whatever time is needed, and is happy to explain his diagnosis and treatment. And he doesn't encourage a return visit unless he really believes you need more care. Mike is always a pleasure to be around, and I always recommend him to friends (and my family) wrestling with musculoskeletal issues. He has my highest recommendation.

A Y: Since the studio offers multiple services by various professionals, I’d like to point out that the 3 stars are not with regards to the studio (it seems wonderful) or a professional, it is with regards to mismatch of expectations on a specific offering, postural yoga. I had one intro class and while it was a truly great yoga class, I had very different set of expectations based on the description and the name of the class. I expected there would be focus on posture, something different from regular yoga classes, and I’d learn something new. What it felt like was that it was a great individual yoga class, but I didn’t notice what would merit the name “postural”, or any poses that would differentiate the class from a class at a regular studio. Perhaps this is something that comes later if one takes multiple classes consistently, however, the price point led to certain expectations on my end that were not met.I tried floating and loved it. Everyone at the studio is friendly and welcoming.

Maya del Rosario: I can't say enough good things about this practice! I sought out Evolve to see if I could find a chiropractor to address my mild scoliosis, headaches, and mild back and hip pain. Not only did they have an easy-to-use website for new patient scheduling, but they took new patients without a referral (and took insurance!) without a months-long waiting list. Dr. Yang was very compassionate and professional and is clearly an expert in the field. She took the time to explain her evaluation to me as well as the treatments she proposed. She also made me feel very comfortable by asking what my comfort level was with new (to me) therapies like TENS and cupping. The facility is also amazing and the admin assistant is very kind and makes appointment management a breeze. If you are considering seeing a chiropractor -- don't wait until you're in pain!! -- go see Dr. Yang at Evolve and give your muscles the care they need.

I felt pain when I sat, when I stood, when I walked, and the only thing that provided some relief was cracking my back and laying down. Dr. Yang and the staff is so kind and friendly and the vibe of the interior is very cozy but professional. After an initial assessment, Dr. Yang gave me electric stimulation, did cupping therapy, a quick massage, and some minor adjustments. I haven’t felt this kind of relief in 3-4 years. I was able to ride a bus for 6 hours with minimal pain, and walk around for 10 hours with almost no discomfort. I’ll be coming here again and again. Would highly recommend!

Polina Margolin: Dr. Desiree D'Agostino is wonderful. I recently visited her to help with my acid reflux and hiatal hernia, because I could not find help anywhere else. I was very impressed with the care I received. She was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the treatment and how they would help me. After a few visits, I noticed a significant improvement in my symptoms.I would highly recommend this chiropractor to anyone suffering from hiatal hernia.
Aria Mustary: Complete scam. Robbed me of hundreds of dollars over the course of 6 months, had me come in 2-3x a week & got into a literal altercation with me when I asked questions about treatment. Incredibly rude & aggressive, switched to another PT & Chiro in Boston.It’s funny she responded to this about how I lied & had profanity, which is not true, because there were other patient witnesses there, and her own receptionist who knows that she is insane and felt sorry that I had to go through what I had to go through with her. It’s laughable to other chiros & PTs I’ve spoken to that this woman would’ve asked me to come in 3x a week minimum, and when I would cancel (because I have an adult work schedule) 24 hours in advance, she would show me an attitude and be rude to me when I came late. Then she has the absolute audacity to complain about me canceling one or two times when she had me coming in 3x times a week for chiro manipulation that didn’t even help…. Complete scam and insanity.I’ve been unbelievably kind to her & her staff, which they can all attest too, regardless of how rude she’s been to me and my boyfriend (who I initially got to come because he had back pain too).The receptionist Stephanie has been exceptionally nice, but it is not worth what I have dealt with for several months with D'agostino.This is especially upsetting because I have been nothing but kind to D'agostino and her staff (which her staff can attest to) even when she's been incredibly rude to me and my boyfriend several times, constantly talking about the "money" she is losing. My boyfriend kept telling me to stop going bc of how insane she acted with him too, but I didn't listen. She cares about the money, not about the patients. I would've recommended her to more of my other friends too if she wasn't so incredibly aggressive, rude, and didn't have manic episodes with patients for months.

Rochelle Friedman: I am an eighty-year-old practicing physician who has been participating in the ActivB Posture program under the guidance of Carrie-Ann Kaye-Kuter. I started the program because I was suffering from scoliosis, which caused low back pain and difficulty walking. Before starting the program I was told that nothing but surgery could help my problem. I am happy to report that this was incorrect.Remarkably I have seen amazing results in a very short time. Maybe I would have given them another star had I simply tried a couple sessions, ad didn't really see any improvement. However, they really pressure you to commit to an eight series.I'm a body work professional for over 10 years, including training in yoga, massage therapy, other practices as well. So I have decent bodily intelligence, I'm pretty sure I was doing the exercises correctly, just didn't help.If you find yourself in pain, it doesn't hurt to try, thou it is probably better for people who don't have very high body awareness or a good knowledge of physical therapy, exercises and practices they can administer their self.
Karen Stueve: Matt has been my therapist since November of 2017 and he has helped to keep me from being crippled. The exercises they give you are specifically designed for your body and your abilities. I can now walk all over the hospital on cement floors all day long with very little pain. I still have to keep up with maintenance exercises which don't take me much time at all, and Matt is available to me whenever if I have an issue crop up in between Skype visits. Emily Berheide: I highly recommend using the Egoscue method if you’re wanting your body to feel great and work really well for you. I have had trouble with my Achilles tendon for the past couple years and have been looking for some thing to help it so I can be fully active again. When I discovered the Egoscue method and started working with Mike, it all made sense to me. The exercises that I have learned are helping to realign my body in its proper position so that it can work the way it’s designed to work. The most amazing part of all this is that now that my body is back into alignment it has resolved other issues that I wasn’t even thinking about when I started. I had lower back tightness every morning but now that is gone. I also had hunched shoulders but had given up on having good posture as it just seem too hard. However with these simple exercises I have an upright posture again which feels great! I’m also able to walk as long as I want again without feeling pain from my Achilles tendon. I am so happy to have discovered this method and think you will be too!

Evelyne Astier: When I went to see Matt 5 years ago I was experiencing acute upper and lower back pain due to 2 protruding discs and fibromyalgia. Stephanie Hynes: I’ve been training at JET for the past 6 months and the results that I’ve seen have exceeded all expectations. My one-on-one sessions with my trainer, April have helped me surpass my health and fitness goals. I can’t say enough great things about April and this studio - an incredibly welcoming, motivating, and dedicated team of trainers that are true professionals. Beyond just the aesthetic results, the knowledge that I’ve gained in nutrition and exercise has boosted my confidence beyond belief - I feel like I know how to properly fuel my body now and I can walk into the gym and know what I’m doing. It has been the best investment and I look forward to continuing training with JET.
Jamilaih H: The last 6 months at JET has consisted of 2 Flight programs and 1:1 boxing sessions. A bit ambitious but definitely worth it considering how far I’ve come with the guidance of coaches like Issam and Kay AND the MWF@6 crew. Lesley Restuccia: I started at JET when I needed some consistency in my workout routine. My goal was to gain muscle and feel more confident in the gym and I definitely achieved that. April was great about creating custom programs that helped develop skills and technique and then advancing to heavier weights and more challenging movement. I’m so impressed with my progress over the course of a year. The entire staff is so friendly and encouraging, and facility and equipment are fantastic, all making for a great experience!
David Walsh: Came here to mix up my workout while I had a month off work. This place is perfect for those looking to get into a routine and want to put some time to it. Only coming for a month was not the ideal impedance match; however, working with Joey through clear communication, we really pulled through. Highly recommended, even if you aren't in the same boat as many others here.
Amar Kelkar: Very friendly environment for people starting training at different levels. They focus on a mix of balance, strength, and anything else that helps you meet your goals. The trainers are all awesome and the gym is super clean (they have you remove your shoes when you enter). It’s personal training in Boston, so it’s not cheap but it’s similar to rates of other places around, and absolutely worth it.

Geoff, Carla, Bryan and the rest of the trainers are superb at what they do - and importantly, they create a very friendly and welcoming environment at their gym. The small group workouts are excellent (coaching on proper technique, great range of equipment, mostly full body workouts), and the InBody Body Composition Analyzer available at their gym for a small fee is a great tool to monitor your fitness progress. Highly highly recommend this gym - so glad I found this place! 10/10

She is great at holding you accountable in a nonjudgmental, healthy way which is so refreshing. How J.E.T tailors fitness / nutrition goals to my individual needs, along with the resources they provide, has not only made me want to commit to a lifestyle change but has also made me want to set fitness goals, which is definitely a first! Carolyn Grimes: J.E.T. was such a transformative experience for me. I highly recommend their trainer April Davison, she’s the best trainer I’ve ever had. She knows when to push you and when you need a break; even on my worse days she helped me get through a workout and she’d be just as proud of me on those days than on my best days. I really liked April because not only did she encourage me to become healthy and fit, but she never judged me for whatever shape I was in and helped me to accept my body. She always hyped me up about the progress I was making.I think the best part of this experience was the knowledge I gained about proper lifting form and nutrition that I had no idea about previously. The internet is full of weight-loss jargon, but J.E.T.’s programs are based in science and they were always able to clear up “myths” I’d heard about losing weight. And most of those myths were in fact myths. I will carry that knowledge with me forever.It was such a hard journey at first, but I really saw results at the end of my time here. It really is a lifestyle if you want to lose weight so please don’t expect J.E.T. to be a miracle solution: if you’re willing to put in the time and work and commit to them then you will see results. If not, that’s on you.Great gym, great trainers, and an accepting atmosphere! I hope to come back again soon.

Don S: I very rarely worked out, so I had very little knowledge in muscle groups, how things worked, proper forms, etc. In fact, I was always shy when trying to go to the gym in front of the more "seasoned" athletes. I was hesitant to start as I wasn't quite sure that dedicating so much time to working out and trying to balance it with the ungodly amount of work I do was manageable.From the start Geoff was communicative and patient, guiding me through all the proper steps, set up a proper program, and would always be willing to answer any questions that I had. The smaller studio also created a very nice and charming atmosphere. I learned to push myself in ways that I did not imagine were possible.Now I can do my own workouts at home armed with the basic knowledge and confidence in the foundations of exercise. I'm very glad to have started my journey with JET, as it has completely changed my life, not just in physical strength, but mental health and positivity overall.

Stephen Chambers: Absolutely loved working with Geoff and JET Boston! I was always a runner, and had never lifted weights out of fear I would embarrass myself in front of the seasoned gym vets. When I did lift weights, they had no structure. JET Boston did an amazing job at teaching proper form, and slowly working your way up to the heavier weights and exercises that everyone wants to do.I was never a natural athlete, but I paid my dues in sweat, concentration, and consistency. When you have those, results always follow.
