Arc'teryx Boston: what do users think?
Ann: Very unfriendly staff... Look at us and ignore us as if we were invisible. I didn't want to buy anything in this rude, snobby store. So I left the store and went back in to buy a jacket. I felt like they were doing me a favor by selling me the jacket. Two staff members ignored me and continued to talk when I went to the counter to pay. would have gone home and ordered it online if I wasn't so cold.. Patagonia staff were so friendly. Total opposite.
Michael Eisenberg: Staff are friendly & helpful. Some items on the company website aren't carried in store and occasionally the reverse. However, given their limited distribution, the company stores + REI are your only good options for trying before you buy. Good luck!
Rich Miner: Love the Veilance line and other actreyx products
Safiyyah Jackson: They looked and spoke to me as if I didn't belong in there. After visiting I will be buying from REI instead
David P: Attempted to return/exchange a jacket recently purchased due wrong size recommended by staff. Was rudely told by “managers” that couldnt exchange for correct size since I wore it out of the store. $500 for a shell that can’t be exchanged in new condition after recent purchase. Sound like a responsible higher end clothing company to you?
Jason Courtemanche: Great service, amazing gear...it just lasts! Calling support and getting a garment fixed is an effortless process.
Michelle Dao: I came here to just try on arcteryx to then turn around a buy online and the staff knew that was my intention as well. The staff reached out to us immediately to engage us to help us out. They also suggested alternatives on fit, shape and also colours. The brand is incredibly expensive for the average person to invest in. Buy with sales if you can and it matters to your wallet. But know that the quality tends to last and even if it doesn’t, there are numerous stories where arcteryx does rebird events and also with assist with repairing gear. Hope that still is the case when we come in the future hopefully 10 years from now. Also went to the store for a shorts screening. Was great and glad I went. Wish they offered free admission for those who are financially inhibited but I didn’t mind the entry fee. Haven’t gone to a community event since. Glad they sponsor local climbing orgs though!Im seeing some reviews regarding returning harnesses. To address that as an outsider, harnesses are safety gear. No matter the lack of use said by the purchaser, no store across any retail brand will take back a harness. It’s a safety liability which is why a person may offhandedly say you can resell on a marketplace because then the diligence must be on the buyer. So please know when you buy a harness, especially one this expensive, try it on first.
Z P: I think the experience is not bad. I bought two down jackets for my family. They patiently helped me introduce the applicable temperature of different jackets.
Jian Feng Kong: Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Heewon Lee: [Took me a few years to write this review]This store has the rudest and unhelpful staff ever. I’ve been using all types of Arc'teryx gear for many years as a casual outdoor climber and purchased my gear through your offline & online stores.Since I moved to Boston, I would occasionally go to this store to try and buy my gear. I would always experience the most unpleasant customer experience at this store. I’ve been thinking about writing a review for many years and finally decided to do so. Here are a few experiences that I can remember that led me to write this review.1. If feel racially discriminated by the staff: I don’t recall being greeted or helped by the staff at this store. I would always have to go find the gear by myself or find staff to see whether I can get some help. Last weekend I went back to this store to buy another winter jacket. I couldn’t find the color or size I wanted so asked the person who seemed to be a staff (She was rearranging some of the jackets). “Excuse me do you work here by any chance?” she stared at me for a second and said “Uh Huh” and just walked away. I just stood there for a few seconds confused and wondering if she was going to come back to help me. Many of my other Asian friends have experienced similar or worse customer service from this store where they also felt ignored and not valued.2. Ridiculous response from the staff: I buy Arc'teryx gear because I trust the equipment quality which leads to safety. Although I’m a casual outdoor climber, I’ve been through some outings when things just didn’t go as planned and having quality equipment really makes a night-and-day difference in personal safety. I purchased a new climbing harness from this store and realized it was too big at home. I went back to the store the following day to exchange the harness (the tags were still attached) for a smaller size. They told me they couldn’t do it because it was company policy and didn't know if I used it or not.I told them that I didn’t feel safe using the harness because it was a bit loose and it was not used in any climbing situations. Their(store manager was there) response was for me to tighten the straps further and use it or sell it on Facebook Market. I just laughed and left the store. They don’t trust me enough to exchange a brand new product that I brought back in less than 12 hours but feel comfortable enough to give me dumb advice on how I should use the harness while risking my own safety and potentially others who would buy it from me.I’m quite sure I will continue to use and buy Arc'teryx gear but will NEVER RETURN to this store again. I hope Arc'teryx HQ reads this review and does better customer service training with their retail store staff.
Scott Eric: 地方可以比比价格 等黑五的时候买7折或者RFI买便宜很多
Martin Weinrich: Good selection, knowledgeable and friendly staff!
Sara Wilson: AJ was extremely kind and helpful. He was not pushy, but rather informative and efficient. I'm glad AJ was three one to help us with our online purchase! 10/10 employee
Jingle Huang: Women's section on the right, men on the left on both floors. Really like their seasonal color selections.
Nicholas Estes: It seems like their brand is starting to transition a little bit. The seem to be moving more toward fashion and less function. However, the prices continue to increase without any change in quality.
Johnathon Kreider: Shout out to Griffin for being the best sales guy on the floor
Xu Zhang: The staffs are very friendly and always willing to help. If you come at the right time, you may find some great deals!
Brian Day: Terrible experience. Awful customer service. So bad I will never buy Arc’teryx item again. Check out stio, way better!
Nina O: I walked into Arc’terrix today in a bad place. I found myself walking around the streets of Boston, not sure where to turn, looking for the thrift shop down the road. Then I happened onto newbury and something compelled me to go into the store. God? Anyway, I was greeted with a smile by a young man with an auburn beard. It was the first time I had felt real joy in months. I left with the entire spring catalogue feeling something I hadn’t felt in a long time: hope.
Alex Poletti: Went in looking for winter-wear not sure what to expect. At first I was intimidated by the breadth and depth of options, but a young bearded gentleman was so helpful and really made my experience comfortable and efficient. I walked out with a new coat feeling like the cat’s meow!
Duan Lian (Ethan): After the complaint, the website updated the inventory in time.👍🏻

Fjällräven: what do users think?
Ne No: Comfortable quality long lasting winter clothing; excellent customer service too.
Nan Arm: This was my first time in this store and I absolutely fell in love with it. Every item is made with high quality materials and designed so beautifully. I enjoyed looking at everything they had to offer and staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy to find and access, love the location at the end of a very busy street. Great selection of trekking pants and bags.
Anthony: Great quality clothing guaranteed to keep you warm in the winter months of Boston.
V.S.: While I ultimately opted for a Parka from one of Fjällräven's competitors, I wanted to mention that I received excellent customer service from this Newbury/Boston location from Tyler. He was very professional and helpful and explained key differences between several models. Thank you!
J Williams: Fjallraven has wonderful outdoor clothing that is unique in the U.S., and you will simply not find at North Face or Patagonia. Some of their styles are a bit quirky. But generally they make high quality, good looking, functional apparel for the outdoors. Think “L.L. Bean”, but Scandinavian. They are a little on the expensive side. But you get what you pay for. They have a great warranty on all their stuff and great service, which are also considerations. I highly recommend stopping by.
Rich Tu: Nice, higher end clothes with amazingly helpful and accommodating staff!
Billy Gawron: If you’re looking for hiking or outdoor wear, look somewhere else. The pants didn’t work out for me (which happens), I’m sure the material works for others, but the return policy is the worst in the industry. Not only do you need the tags, but you’re not even able to have “tried them on”. No refunds for any worn pants. Just shop at REI, North Face, Arcteryx, etc for a real outdoor store experience. I wouldn’t at all consider this an outdoor store.
Alfredo Ramirez: Beautiful store with extremely helpful staff. Great wears too and not at the exorbitant prices that some competitors charge.
Patrick Smith: Friendly & helpful staff!
Fraser Dean: High end clothing for outdoor or casual wear. Friendly and helpful staff.
Justin Mourt: Really nice staff who helped me pick out a really nice winter jacket! Pricey but you get what you pay for, very high quality!
Christian S: Amanda was super helpful , and we found a great color for my friend . Definitely check it out !
fizzy: They don't stand behind their products. I bought a backpack from them and they said they would take it back within 30 days. I brought it back because it was uncomfortable, which I could only know from wearing it, and then they said they wouldn't take it back for that reason. I've experienced other companies that have actual return policies that take back their products if within the return period. Will not shop here again, will go for a different brand that actually backs their products. Also, the store manager told me that "the backpack shouldn't be uncomfortable because it has padding" after I had told her it was. Unprofessional and I suggest you look elsewhere for backpacks.
Alban van Gaver: Amazing store!
shawn butela: Looked everywhere to replace tactical pants from an old, old surplus store that were nearly irreplaceable... Until now! And with major upgrades!
Tommy Duque: Great store but the prices are up there. Quality of products is very good. Beautiful clothes.
Gloriann Z: The employees are so nice! They’re not pushy and they actually give you space and time to browse their products. Cozy feeling, small collection which isn’t bothersome. Would go here again! :)
Lucia F: They wouldn’t let me exchange a gift (in their plastic product bag with all tags) for a different item without receipt. Best of luck to them dealing with Christmas returns... I was very frustrated being stuck with a gift I didn’t like. Also, it doesn’t say anywhere on their website that you need a receipt for an exchange.
Alen Kristic: Super
Ryan McLaughlin: Good materials, lifetime warranty, friendly service at the counter.
Mrinal Sahoo: Awesome Collection. Would love to be back. Except the Salesgirl at the store was ready to bill me the sample piece which was dusty. Which she herself was cleaning with her hands. Its a $185 dollar bag (which is one of the expensive ones in the store) When I requested her a new piece, she reluctantly went to the store and got me. I requested to check if there is a specific colour that I was looking for. She was clearly disinterested. Clear example of great products and very bad service

REI: what do users think?
Adam Barney: Great store. Wonderful staff and products and being a coop makes it even more special. They also will validate parking 😎
V M: Really love REI in general. And I’m happy one is here in Fenway. The workers at this location are very helpful and friendly. I shop here maybe twice a month. My only critique is I wish they had more products in store. Given the in-store inventory, I find myself buying online a lot. That means I am guessing a size, which is not ideal.
Stephen Craft: Awesome store, especially the bike shop
Traveler: There are better urban REIs.2023: Parking now $10. Don't order here for pickup. From 2019:Online order pickup is frustrating as you have to pay for parking, even just to pick up an item. There is not short term parking whatsoever. Validated parking is $5 up to an hour, $8 up to 2 hours.Be warned, the garage clearance is quite low.
Marc Shafer: I have been looking for a specific pair of Burton Infinium Oven Gloves, and I had taken to calling Burton stores around America. The folks at the Boston store knew exactly what I wanted and knew they had one pair in stock. They took my order and shipped my gloves that day. Fabulous customer service...I am so appreciative.
Becky Lynch: I was looking for new boots and the staff was very friendly. They asked if I needed help and had good recommendations. Staff at register was nice too. Definitely take the T or walk. There is no parking.
Sofia Theodorou: Worse place ever do not even think to biy anything from them. They will try to sell you a membership and say they give you bonus card but they will miss to say it expires. They have zero customer service. I paid 90$ for shoes that would cost 50$ and did not even have money for this expense. I explained my concerns to the workers but she still managed to extract me 90$. Unethical pieces of animals.
Roosevelt Jefferson II: The staff was very friendly and helpful. Love coming to this store.
Daniel Harlow: This was a great REI, and the people who work there do a great job, but the parking lot was closed for construction and the streets nearby are always full so it is now essentially impossible to park. This is a pity, as we now have to go to a different location.
James Fiala: Love REI
Laura Shanks: I am absolutely disgusted with the management and staff of this store. Several staff members recently petitioned to have a DISABLED MILITARY VETERAN FIRED from this store location because they were UNCOMFORTABLE with his DISABILITY. Rather than supervisors having a conversation with all staff to address the solution they took the easy way out and fired him. This location is currently under investigation by Disability Rights Massachusetts. Please boycott.
Jason Courtemanche: Great selection
Kapil Ashok Hariyani: Best outdoor store with outstanding 👏 customers care store in entire AMERICA CONTINENT
robyn b: Great store but you have to get the building to rid of the parking attendant outside.Had to quickly drop off daughter to get a sensor removed which was left on and he was scary abusive and upsetting.
Rian Dalton: Frequent customer to this REI, due to their consistently great and friendly service!
I-y H: I am really disappointed in this place. their bike shop staff installed my pedals without the m4 pedal pins. Not sure if this is due to lack of professionalism or they divided to keep my pins. really upsetting experience here.......
Brent Lowry: Still giving a five-star rating even though I could not find lightweight waterproof tarps.
Liv Burns: Got the best service today from the bike shop – I'd purchased a gravel bike over a month ago and was having trouble shifting gears due to some finicky cable tension. The guy who worked on my bike with me went above & beyond, and worked super fast to get me back on the road.
Paul G: This site seems smaller than a normal store, though still well stocked. Two stars though since this location is in a building with $10 validated parking. REI could've done better. If you don't mind the parking or can walk there, it's not bad.
Austin Coffin: Great outdoor store in downtown Boston. Awesome selection of hiking, biking, and boating supplies and a huge selection of clothing. Parking is $10 with validation.
Jesse Kennedy: Staff is always so friendly and helpful.

Mountain Warehouse: what do users think?
Steven Gauck: Great selection at discount prices.
Gani Ecoresort: Barang bagus. Ramah . Lengkap buat ke gunung
I-y H: Good store, good product, great value.Think of this place as British LL Bean. Better design, similar quality and half the price.Love it!
Antoinette Gross: My sales help was Brenda. I was looking for a coat for my grandson and grandbaby. Brenda didn't hesitate to help me. My experience was so great that I came back and bought Xmas gifts weeks later. Thank you Brenda
Kensha Grandoit: They have a decent variety of styles for women. Would love some more fashionable styles in the mix but there’s a solid selection to look at. The staff is great!! Super helpful with sizing and product suggestions - especially the younger ones 👏🏾The price is just right! Affordably priced for heavy duty winter gear that FEELS like the mainstream name brands. Can’t imagine you’ll find much cheaper in the City. One con - parking!!!
Alexandre Kaspar: Recently got hiking poles and socks from them, all of which were great - confirmed after a few hikes of use. They have a small collection, but most items and pieces of clothing look great and seem very affordable!
kurt sejr hansen: Great shop
Shaquan The Don: Great store and great people very helpful
KP: Horrible customer service. Run by a bunch of retirees who know nothing about the product.
Taylor Ness: Great prices!
Valerie Lewis: I went to this store about a month ago looking for a ski coats for me and my boyfriend. Immediately upon entering we were asked if we needed help and we responded “no, but we’ll tell you if we do.” That’s no problem. What was the problem though was that Marie proceeded to follow us around the store when there were clearly other people in the store that needed to be helped. I felt so uncomfortable that I ended up leaving without a coat and disappointed. We tried to lodge a complaint with the corporate number because we felt so wronged but there was no confirmation that a formal complaint was even recorded or any action done even though we were told we would be contacted. Very unprofessional.
Jeremy Wise: this is where its at
Babak Fard: Good winter sport apparel. With good prices.
Laura N: Really nice clothing and shoes. The sale prices are good.
Mr Coupon: Never heard of the brand but we needed to buy some rain jacket during our trip in Boston. Price is very reasonable and quality of clothings are great. They use recycled materials too.
Bernard Brown: Excellent service
Alberto Barrios: Ropa y accesorios excelentes.
benjamin valeiko: purchased a pair of hiking sneakers and a pocket jacket and they look like they're pretty good quality and the price is absolutely amazing prices that we need during this epidemic very quick shipping will order again
Bob I: Helpful friendly staff. Great prices
Shirley Sosa: Pleasant experience and who doesn't LOVE A SALE! Winter street needed this. Will definitely be going back!

Fjällräven Seaport: what do users think?
RoadTrip NewEngland: I really like Fjallraven’s line for outdoor and winter activities. Warm, stylish. Great for hiking in the White Mountains. One of three locations in Boston- the others are on Newbury Street and in Harvard Square
Jordan Guyer: Store was listed as open on Google & on arrival the door had no hours listed. There was a sign on the door that said reopening at 2:30PM. After waiting 20 minutes and calling the store, no employee arrived or answer my call...very unprofessional & passive aggressive
Jodi Moore: Friendly staff, clean and well-stocked store
Casey G.: Needed a jacket held until I could come try it on (n/a @ Harvard Sq. store). I ended up taking it but wanted something customized as well. Kerry and Lexi were both awesome, very helpful. Many thanks!
Katrina Shaffer: Very helpful staff! They will help you find all the items you need
Reaping21: To end 2019, I finally saved up enough to buy my first Fjallraven jacket! Loved it ever since and it keeps me unbelievably warm, where ever the jacket covers, I can't feel the cold. Their products tend to be on the pricier end, but for the jackets, I'd say it's worth the investment. It does have to be waxed annually though, which you can do yourself or staff can do it for you. They will have to quarantine it first, though. With the faith of their brand, I decided to try out one of their gloves. On the day of the purchase, Feb 13th, my hands actually felt colder, so I'm not really sure how I feel about spending so much on the gloves. I might have to buy the wax for it, to see if it makes a difference.
Beau Cote: Super friendly staff and just generally awesome!
Danny Rowland: It is an impressive store with a clean look and a nice layout. The employees were eager to help and clearly very proud of their products. They had bags, pants, jackets, camping gear, knives, tools, and more. There is a tailor on site who repairs and alters the clothing. It's refreshing to see clothing fixed instead of thrown away. Their stuff is expensive, but very high quality. The store tows the line between modern and rustic in a very appealing way. You feel like each item will last a lifetime when you feel them.
v cheung (Nessa): great customer service and great products! I bought my first Fjallraven bag and love it. What was unexpected was that the store does not accept American Express or Discover cards, the two cards I had, luckily i had my Visa debit card.

REI: what do users think?
I H: long wait for a bike tune up and staff was not very interested in making the process easy or efficient- someone told someone else to have me wait on the side and was left waiting for 35 minutes
Gabriella Zoia: DO NOT GET YOUR SKIS TUNED HERE. Did a horrible job and left deep gashes after hand scraping them. Take your business elsewhere. When I came back to report it I was told that I was essentially making it up and that the other shop that checked them out was just trying to sell us a new pair of skis. We were given 100 gift card at REI… small consolation when they’ve ruined a 1200 pair of skis. I’ve never been treated so poorly by retail staff.
Kira Clingen: This place needs more staff and better training, especially in their bike department. Came in with a flat tire - they replaced it, it went flat the next day. Went back, they replaced it again, it went flat. Took it to another bike shop - there was a massive shard of glass in the rim that they didn’t find either time. Out $30 and multiple hours.
Elisabeth Graham: The staff at REI Cambridge is so helpful and kind. I ordered the wrong shoes and they assisted with an easy exchange, communicating what they had in stock and what they didn’t. I’m so grateful to have this neighborhood store close by.
Steven Zelek: Service is good, but please be aware that this store mostly stocks: clothing, bike gear, climbing gear, and a small selection of accessories. It's a small store - so just have the right expectation.
Samantha Kanach: Love this REI! The people who work are so wonderful. I had to bring my bike in for maintenance and Nicoletta was so attentive and friendly and got my bike in tip top shape in no time. This REI is right next to some great local coffee shops and breweries so you really can’t go wrong here
Nancy Ramsdell: Always top quality and helpful personnel.
ambassador smudge: nice place to get some gear.Since 1938, we have been your local outdoor co-op, working to help you experience the transformational power of nature. We bring you top-quality gear and apparel, expert advice, rental equipment, inspiring stories of life outside and outdoor experiences to enjoy alone or share with your friends and family. And because we have no shareholders, with every purchase you make with REI, you are choosing to steward the outdoors, support sustainable business and help the fight for life outside.
Sam Berry: Had a great experience buying climbing shoes and a harness here. Not a huge location so might not have the selection of some larger stores but everyone was super friendly and it had what I was looking for
Lisa: Small store but very pretty inside, like a boutique. But they signed me up for a membership without asking! They were not super knowledgeable.
Emily Heckel: This is a (beautifully designed) T-shirt and water bottle store. I wouldn't really call it an REI. Came in looking for liner gloves and trekking pole baskets and they don't stock either. In fact, they barely stock any gear at all, and this is on purpose. They do have a few cycling items I think, and a comically tiny climbing section that I have to assume is only there for aesthetic purposes. The target demographic seems to exclusively be cyclists and people who wear overpriced Patagonia to brunch. The staff were super nice and they were knowledgeable about the items I was looking for (just didn't have them). They seemed quite used to responding to customers' confusion about the store. I think they should rename the store, or make it more clear online that this isn't a true REI as most of us know it. Overall, it felt a bit like being in a gallery - they display (limited) gear in an attractive way, but they intentionally don't stock it. Seems very focused on the aesthetic over the practical, which clashes with the brand concept. I can't think of a reason why someone would go to this store on purpose. I ended up driving to Reading and finding everything I needed, and I guess I'll be doing that moving forward. It's unfortunate, I live in Cambridge and I would shop here all the time if it was a real store and not a display window.
Mike Alexandersen: Google shows this as "camping store", but when i went in there, they said "this location doesn't have a camping department; were actually the smallest store in the coop." Sigh, pointless.
Amit Bergman: Nice and knowledgeable employees
Jeffrey Alperovich: This is not your typical REI! It’s a solid REI shop and had some great sale items, but the selection of everything is limited just due to the nature of the store size/location. Still recommend REI to all just set expectations accordingly! Staff were friendly and helpful as always
Christian Torres: Excelente servicio. La atención fue bastante buena. La chica que me atendió, me dio una buena asesoría. Lo recomiendo mucho.
Carrie Cole: Fantastic store! Beautiful, big, nice layout, very friendly and helpful staff. That area is really changing and that's a great addition.
Edson Lacerda (Ed): Customer service at this store in Cambridge MA,is TERRIBLE, I waited forever for someone, figured out on my own, went fitting 2 climbing helmets, then finally a guy came asking “did you take the tag out” harshly almost accusing me of doing it so, and just left. So did I 😞Very first time I’ve been treated so bad at REI store, this is the first and last time I come to this one!Meanwhile Framingham, which is my actual main store is AWESOME,It’s totally the opposite, doesn’t even look like it’s the same chain ☹️
Diot Sébastien: The store was good and the staff was helpful. However this store does not stock most of REI's merchandise and it's painfull to search on the website if they have my size for each shoes.I wanted to buy a very common pair of climbing shoes but I have to try differents size, they don't have any stock in 150 miles around ... My only way to go through is to order each shoes that I want to try : 199$ each ! (which is already very expansive).Big no for me.
Petal Niles: Had trouble with a gift card and staff was incredibly kind and patient in finding a solution! They also offered good advice on winter coats and had a small but nice selection of items on the floor
Swabarna Mukherjee: Customer Service. Love them. Went there to exchange an Arcteryx Shell which I bought last year but it was one size bigger than I wanted and have been thinking of getting one size smaller.Procrastinating for months, yeah I know, I finally made the trip only to find out it was just 3 days that 1 year passed. Damn I was sad however the manager honored it. They are excellent. Walked me through the steps and did whatever neededand they helped me put in an order. The site is new and parking is tough however the area is undergoing construction. Hoping to seethe area complete with all the construction done. Newer location nearer to my place and well they have a lifelong customer thanks to their excellent service.
Nicholas Manning: Does NOT stock camping gear, which REI is known for.

Fjällräven Cambridge: what do users think?
Avi Heschel-Aronson: Manager at this location discriminates against (fires) staff for any involvement in mental health programs, despite good standing as employees. Referring to a friend of mine. Thought you all should; not at all acceptable.
RoadTrip NewEngland: Great selection of backpacks and outdoor gear in Harvard Square.
Miles Houston: Good pants. The women size fits well on men.
Paula M: Great service! I appreciate the time that the staff took to help me find the perfect bag. They had patience and great info and I am thrilled with my bag.
Michael Hoaglund: This store is completely unprofessional. During their business hours, the store was locked with a “Be right back! Thank you” sign. A woman and myself waited outside the store for 45+ minutes. I am utterly surprised that a business can be left unattended and have their customers wait outside during their hours of operation. Very frustrating to say the least.
Tonya Hamilton: Great staff! Thanks for all your help in picking out my Kanken.
endre bee: Lovely staff! Very one-on-one oriented compared to the traditional retail experience. The bag I bought is also my new favorite.
Thomas Bishop: I purchased a $200 dollar jacket from this store the first week of July. A simple rain jacket. I realized after purchasing that a button on the bottom was missing a week later (I wore it once). I took it back to the store and the people were nice and they said the button would be fixed free of charge in a place they send it to nearby. It was a button, just needed the part put on, no stitching. It’s been nearly 6 weeks and I finally called them and they said “oh we must have forgotten,” then said “oh it shipped yesterday,” mind you I literally got the shipping notification after calling and having them call their person who was supposed to send it. It’s $200 dollar rain jacket worn once. They could have replaced the jacket and had this one fixed and it would have been the same. I may be an anomaly because they seem nice but this wasn’t a good experience.
T Self: This is a clothing store-period. No gear-zero.
L G: Although I didn't have the heart to buy anything this time around my trip to this store was great. Staff seemed knowledge and was super friendly. I did try something on for future considerations and was impressed with the quality and fit. I was also told that the item I tried on was going into quarantine! ...poor slacks haha. Anyway - highly recommend this place if staying warm in style is your aim.
Dustin Hecker: Great customer service at this small, but well stocked outpost. The coats seem to be high-quality although at full price you pay a significant amount. We were exchanging a coat purchased on line. It has to be handled as a new purchase of the replacement coat and thenMailing in the old coat as a separate return. The store representative walked us through the process and gave us a substitute mailing label. Very efficient.
Ram Charan Khalsa: Guys, the people at this store are awesome. They helped me find awesome boots and really went above and beyond to help me.
Chris Whaley: Great stuff with very friendly staff.
sara B: Produtos ótimos, em fim de estação tem promoções nas roupas, as mochilas geralmente não têm desconto.
Kayla: Came here to get my daughter a bag and it was a great experience. I didn’t know anything about the brand and the staff explained everything to us. The best part is that the bags have warranty’s. We went back to the store a few days ago and got my 4 year old and myself a bag. I love my bag the colors are amazing. There is on street parking with meters. The store has a really cool display wall with bags.Staff are knowledgeable and very friendly! Will be going back to get my nieces some bags next week.
Josh Zotter: Excellent service, friendly staff, quality clothing.
George Touloumes: This is such a nice store! I love the aesthetic of both the decor and the clothing. It's got a cozy/outdoorsy/mountaineering feel to it.Have been here a couple times and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They really know their products and don't push you to purchase anything. Much appreciated! The gear is quality, but pricey. Suggestion is to wait for a sale like Black Friday to get a solid discount and save yourself up to a couple hundred bucks.
Jose Estrada: Very good brand
Eileen Sanzonetti: Good
YUXI ZHANG: Very friendly and helpful staff. But the store is small and sometimes they don't have the color/size I want.
Molly Curling: Cute but expensive

Darth Riatch: I'm fairly new to the LL Bean scene & have been pleasantly surprised by the friendly & helpful staff exhibiting excellent customer service in this Boston Seaport store location as well as the few headquarter reps I've spoken to over the phone. Merchandise is great quality that I can tell will last quite some time with normal wear & care. I'm now a loyal customer & will always keep my eyes open for new apparel & footwear... THANK YOU, LL Bean!
Anne-Marie: We tried a few pairs of the Bean Boots and were helped by a very friendly associate. He was very quick to bring everything out and placed no pressure on us at all (we ended up ordering a pair online). Furthermore, he was very knowledgeable and could answer all of our questions. Overall this was a very pleasant shopping experience!

Hilton's Tent City: what do users think?
Luis Sandoval: Was there today to check their backpacks. One of them wasn't friendly at all which ultimately made me decide not to purchase the backpack I was hesitant to buy ($229 Topo Designs Travel bag 40l) On the good part, it made me look up the Facebook marketplace again and got something for $100. I mean thanks no thanks. Imagine losing $229 sale just because you couldn't have a friendly conversation haha.
Tyler Saxe: Always has what I need, effective longstanding outdoor supply.
Oscar Morales: Hilton's Tent City has great customer support and quick shipping service. I had a wrong item shipped to me and emailed them and with no hassle they shipped me the correct item in no time! I would buy again from them.
Lily Harris: Love this local gear shop, the staff were honest and friendly in helping me find what I needed :)
Sean S.: Oh how I miss Hilton Tent City when they were in Boston and provided good value for the money. Regardless of inflation the prices they charge for men’s winter costs are ridiculous! I’ll stick with LL Bean.
Audiobooks Fun for Kids Playing Learning English: best of the best of the best... old schol. on the old schol...............kind of cool on the renovation NORTH STATION store..!! awesome sale.. can not wait til the LOUNGE is open
Nick Leheny: They had a hard to find item I was looking for. I called to make sure they had it, and then bought it on their website. They shipped it out promptly and it arrived early in perfect condition.
Daniel Place: Great locally owned outdoors shop. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a pretty good selection considering the size of the store and the location in downtown Cambridge. They have just about everything you could need for an outdoor adventure: tents, backpacks, clothing, footwear, cookware, knives, and other outdoor gear you'd need at the campsite or on the trail. They have a great staff, and they'll certainly help make your next outdoor adventure a success!
Katie G: Stopped by for the first time to grab a random collection of items for a backpacking trip, was not disappointed!!! Great recommendations, great brands, and super convenient being in Central. Will definitely be coming back for all outdoor gear!
Kenneth Mui (K): Tent City is truly the best hidden jewel when it comes down to traveling/hiking, camping gear. It was a lot bigger back in Boston, but I’m so happy they decided to open their doors in Cambridge! I’ve bought countless jackets, tents, camping gear, backpacks, gloves and accessories for myself and my family. I’ve always found what I needed when gearing up for treks in the white mountains or vacationing in other countries. It’s truly your old mom and pop store with lots of knowledgeable sales associates. I love Tent City for its brands, products, value, selection and prefer it over REI, EMS, Bob Store..ect.
Jenna Sunshine: LOVE THIS PLACE! Tons of great gear for everything from hiking & camping to fishing and bird watching. They have a little bit of everything! Backpacks of all sizes for hiking or day-to-day, hiking boots, sandals & shoes, sleeping bags & sleeping pads, clothes, outerwear, tents, hammocks, water bottles, camelbacks & water bladders, binoculars, knives, stoves, and all the assorted technical gear you can think of. If you need anything for hiking, backpacking, camping, fishing, etc this is the place to go! Support a small, local independently-owned business instead of Amazon or a large chain store.
lian duan: Very enthusiastic merchants, very cheap prices, very pleasant shopping experience, will definitely come back again.
Alex Schab: Amazing store with great prices.
Erik Eklund: This place always has something you want. It's the best place to find high quality outdoor and camping gear.
Nathan Elchert: I placed an order for sale-priced cold-weather gear on their website, which qualified for free two-day shipping. A week later the package had not arrived. I emailed and received no response. I called and was told that my order had been automatically cancelled due to “a red flag.” (I had received no notification of the cancellation whatever.) I said I still wished to order the items and asked how to go about this. I was told to reorder the items in two orders rather than one, to reduce the total costs and avoid another red flag. I set about doing this but found that the sale pricing was no longer available on three of four items. I called to ask about the pricing and was told that the pricing I had received the first time was wrong due to a pricing glitch on their end, that they would not sell me the items at that price, and that they wouldn’t ship to me anyway, since packages are often stolen in my area. (I guess my area is NYC — they won’t ship to NYC?) This was a frustrating waste of time and I still don’t have the cold-weather gear I need for an upcoming trip.
Calvin Harjono: I don’t think I’ve ever written a Google review but felt a need to do so in this given the absolutely terrible experience at had in this shop. I should first mention that I’m a huge advocate for local businesses but in no way is it acceptable for customers to be yelled at and run out of your store for wanting to try on a jacket. That’s not a business, that’s a sham.I came in to browse around, as I had passed by many times and been attracted to the variety of backpacks. While there I saw they had a jacket I was interested in and I had asked if I could try it on (it apparently was not in the showroom). The gentlemen at the register, who I can only presume as the owner considering that his customer service was absolute in no way someone you would want to hire to run your shop, immediately gave me a keen look of suspicion. To which I tried to dispelled with “it’s okay if you don’t, I just want to try it on to see if it’s right for me.”He abruptly says “SO YOU WANT TO TRY IT ON AND BUY IT SOMEWHERE ELSE?!?” I was stunned. In this awkward position, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and said “it’s okay, don’t want to trouble you, don’t worry about.” I had thought he was joking, but he wasn’t. Moreover, he had the audacity to say “Yeah, I won’t worry about it.” I couldn’t help but feel so uncomfortable I hastily walked out.People looking to shop here, I can only advise that you take my experience for whatever it’s worth. I moved 3 blocks away from this store and had all the intentions of supporting a local business. I am mortified with the experience, perhaps he was having a bad day? I can only guess, but I hope for future customers he surely has less of them.
Michael Meyer: Not much selection and very limited inventory in site. Check their website before visiting site. Think small business not large business like REI or LL Bean. Sales people seem depressed and exhausted.
Greg S: Fantastic little store. A nice selection of knives, camping gear, and general active-people stuff.Staff seemed nice and made good recommendations when I asked about shoes. Prices are reasonable. I’ll definitely be going back.
Gani Ecoresort: Baik pelayanan nya. Barang banyak berbagai merek besar. Lengkap lah
Mr Shannon Joslin: Great store great service better than 4.5
A. F.: Wide selection of gear with budget level up to Arc’teryx. Love that they stock Mystery Ranch packs.
