ames forish: My son's and I just found this place and it is great! There is a large selection of pokemon cards and Tommy was very knowledgeable. Most importantly, if you do not want to have a membership to PSA or CGC (which we do not) for a fee, he can send them off for you. I recommend checking out Amaya Bros!
Maureen Tolman: Overall good service, especially kindness to customers and good priced items! There also is a variety of items to choose from.

Comic Stop: what do users think?
Kusanda: One of the best cars shops In Watertown, definitely got some great pulls in Pokémon packs, and I can browse the comics there as well.
Kevin Campbell: Great friendly local comic and Magic the Gathering shop with a convenient location!!
Deighton Abrams: Tiny shop but loads of great comics and manga. Stuff was super helpful and they have great deals as well. Highly recommend!
Tom VanAntwerp: This is a great little shop. David keeps the store well stocked with current books and a sweet little collection of nicely curated back issues. Great prices, knowledgeable owner, and good conversations. Highly recommend!
Derek S: Really enjoyed my visit to this store. I went in to purchase some bags and boards and the staff there was helpful. Really helpful. I was going to buy the modern size and the man at the counter suggested silver age size since they fit better.I'm glad I took his advice since the cardboard comes out a little beyond the modern size comics and protects them better.Store was clean and tidy as well. Appreciate everything about this place.
Jason Cassel: Super helpful owner. Great prices
Benjamin Watanabe: This place is a hidden jewel. People in Watertown don't realize how fortunate they are to have something as unique as a local comics store. Even better, The Comic Stop is very kid-friendly with two whole shelves of graphic novels for children and teens.

Jordan v: Nice little comic shop with a great layout. The owner (Dave) was very helpfull, and made sure I got everything I was looking for. Highly recommend, because of the customer service
VSW Podcast: Best of the Best!!! I have been going here since It opened over 20 years ago. Dave has been a pillar in the community when it comes to ccg and comic books. they have outlived all the others including comicopia and boston baseball!! going originally for star wars card by decipher I quickly rejoined the mtg community and started playing in tournaments. even back then it was run very professional. Now an adult i have little time for card games but do stop in and am excited to soo n bring my son in and show him the wonders of comics
Tamira Beth Stephens: Loved this store! Great owner, good selection of books. Not many toys, but they do have a wide variety of Magic cards/sets. Also, they have a great deal on graphic novels--I ended up buying six books instead of just one because of it. Will be back!
Matt Dursin: Super helpful and courteous staff. Great selection of books old and new. Not one of those comic stores that looks like someone's basement. Really great place.
Patrick Ritter (Pat_Trek1701): This is a great comic shop! Dave is incredibly helpful and honest. If you need something new or he's out of stock on an item he'll order it special just for you. The environment is cozy and he hosts Magic games and tournaments. If your looking for an amazing authentic comic shop with someone who passionate about what he's selling, comic stop is the place to go! BTW I'm usually there weekly picking up my latest fix.
Marcus Pacheco: Great place. I hope they had better hours since I'm working person 😕. Wonderful owner as well as knowledgeable of what he's selling. Thank God 😊. These kind of stores require knowledgeable people who know there product.

Comicopia: what do users think?
Patrick Willis: It was ok-ish for comic books not really a comic book hunting location. Price tags on comics books.... howerver 25 cents a comic is cool. If Graphic novels is more of your thing it has a lot to pick from. If you like to dig and hunt through boxes this isn't the place. The only comic book boxes are labeled staff only and you're not allowed to look in them which is weird.
Pitipat Wongsittikan: Variety of comics both American and Manga.Great place to stop by.
Ryan Tessier: Fast and friendly, huge selection of comics, manga, trade paperbacks, hardcovers and more
Michael: Comicopia is great! The staff are always friendly and helpful, willing to work with you to find in-stock products or ones available from their distributors. The selection is great, with trades, single issues, back issues, and plenty of manga.Recommended for locals and visitors to Boston.Update: Best comicbook shop in Boston!
quan nguyen: I like to pay a visit to comicopia every time I have a chance to. The staffs are nice, and they always have a great selection of new comics/mangas waiting for you each week in the back. One of my favorite place right now for manga, comic.
Janelly R: Talk about Manga heaven! Staff is so friendly and informative, always so helpful. Great location, i always enjoy coming here. They always help you find what you are looking for.
Aaron Gonzales: Cool place a nice inventory. Make sure to have a mask if you wanna go in
Harsh Parekh: Hole in the wall manga and comics store, they have some pretty niche stuff even amongst manga.
Adam Maliski: Not a terrible spot. Upon walking in, masks are required which is kind of silly. It's July of 2022. Comic selection was decent but fairly small. Other spots like Harrison's in Salem and Comicazi have far greater selection without the silly masks.
gabriel collado: I have been coming here for decades spending good money I never been so insulted just went in today with a bag of food and the owner with the glasses rudely ask for my bag I wonder does he do that to his white custermers ? Never again
Derek Viger: Place was small, but that's not a negative. Easy to browse. Had a great time looking around.
Ellie Roy: Such a good hidden gem in Boston. I actually worked here for a few months when I was in college right before the pandemic hit and I had to head back to my home state. From both an employee and a customer’s point of view, everyone here is absolutely lovely, and the selection is fantastic. Highly recommend. Hope Matt and the rest of the gang is doing well!
Bill Chimento: Best in Boston! Go there. Something for everyone!
Jen Gabriele: Soo many options. Staff was very knowledgeable.
Brad Wallace: Awesome little shop with a huge selection of Manga
Radames Delgado: Interesting shop you can spend hours checking comics and books. Manga, anime, Marvel, etc etc
J Brayshaw: Excuse me comicopia I Am extremely intirested in manga and I was wondering what volumes of one piece you have and how much you sell them for
brittany shelton: Got some sweet pokemom cards on my first try. Lots of books I couldn't find anywhere else. Super cozy. Truly a hidden gem
YH W: Great place for manga fans
Daniel Sallaku: Beautiful building
Melody Phu: Good discount deals if you buy multiple volumes.

Hub Comics: what do users think?
Eric Roberts: Heads up - mask required. Money spent better elsewhere.
James Anderson: Went to the store, and was happy to see that still enforce a mask policy.
Committed Comics: Came to check out the store while in town for the comic show...only to turn around when I saw the sign on the door for masks. Seriously? Well they won't get my business
Benn Robbins: This is a fantastic comic shop and I love going here. An amazing selection, wonderfully polite and knowledgeable staff. Amazing selection. I highly recommend it.
Maximilian Schneider: Friendly stuff and nice collection.
Ryan Hare: Super clean and organized space with a great selection. The staff is also helpful and always ready to recommend titles.
Marine Azahisse: Been there for the first time today. Seems to have a great selection of comics/graphic novels and the owner was very helpful and friendly. He helped us find comic books for young kids and I saw great books for adults.I will definitely go again.
Radio OfHorror: Fantastic location love the new look of the place
Alejandro Garcia: Pros: the place is clean. Do not expect a lot of old comics, it's more modern. The variety is little but still good.Cons: Their customer service, I didn't feel welcomed. What I mean by that was, I didn't receive any sort of greeting or being told “hey if there is anything you need please let us know” the basic 101 knowledge of great customer service.Side Note:They do require masks in order to come to the store which is okay but they do have a sign that states to try and limit your time at the store for 15 min?, I didn't experience any type of pressure to leave the store but reading that might rub people the wrong way. If I were them I would suggest removing that because people will feel rushed and just become a non-enjoyable experience.I would suggest people to go to the store, you might find some pretty solid deals but personally “The Hub” is not my cup of tea.Still glad I was able to stop by and see the shop!
Carlos Saigos: Masks in this store are still required while masks are not required anywhere else. Slave mentality
Alyssa Bean: Favorite comic shop, great selection, fantastic folks who work there. As a cancer patient, I'm thrilled they still require masks and always look forward to my next visit.
Ben Benson: Such a wonderful store! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The fact that they still require masks is a huge plus for me - I love a store that ensures a safe and accessible environment. Great selection of books, ranging from Marvel & DC to indie publishers to local comic zines. Many other local shops can feel gatekeep-y, but Hub always feels welcoming and inclusive.
Aaron Mailhot: AMAZING selection and vibe/layout, and some good deals. Also a section devoted to local creators, which is awesome!!!
Christian Oliver: Great selection and friendly staff that have the knowledge.
Arran Victory: Great little comic book store with a good selection of well known and smaller local releases. Also sorts by genre, the best way to sort.
Evan: Ever since moving out of Union, I've greatly missed this comic shop. You've got amazing curators who are more than happy to help make any recommendations.
Conor Cara: Love this spot, small but great selection, nice and bright and organized. The people there were super nice and helpful in recommending things for me to read. I'll definitely be back for more.
Adam Maliski: Awkward environment, masks required and small selection. Refer to Comicazi right around the corner for a far greater selection of comic books, no masks and good vibes.
Ida Li: A lot of great comics. Some older. Some more recent. There's also the classic machine that spits out a ball! I cannot quite recall what it is called anymore.Location was easy to spot. There was a sign that did say you should wear a mask, limit of around 5 customers, and keep to 15 minutes in the store.Great spot to check out if you like comics!
Jack McGowan: This is the comic shop of the future. The selection of books, the layout of the store, the kind and engaging staff: everything comes together to make a beautiful and welcoming comic book store. I hope this place stays open for years!
Adaline Lining: Helpful and approachable with a great selection. Super friendly!

Comicazi: what do users think?
Kike Sanchez: Increible. Todos los comics y super heroes.
Anthony: Comicazi is full to the ceiling with comics, figures, collectables, and vintage toys. Your experience at vary, but I feel very much so neutral about this place. The pricing they have is very inconsistent, this is true of not only their rarer comics, but their vintage toys as well. On top of that, I found their pricing to be much higher than even better condition items posted on eBay.I certainly don't mind buying from a "mom and pop" type of store to save on shipping and actually see the item in person, but there is a limit to the overall mark-up that can be made before potential customers just walk away.I didn't find the staff to be particularly friendly, and purchasing multiple items yielded no additional discount, nor was there a discount for paying in cash. If they have an item you want I suggest you shop around before purchasing because odds are you can find it elsewhere for cheaper.Minus one star for inconsistent and higher than nornal pricing.Minus one star for mediocre service.
Charlie Arthur: Unique selection of Magic singles. Wide array of comic books and graphic novels. Knowledgeable staff.
Huguens Alexis: Cool store. Lots of older memorabilia. My kids love it.
jay vyas: Take your kids here and teach them about our modern mythology
Mitchell Fratini: These are the best nerds around. This place has comics, collectables, cards, DnD games, books, figurines, painting equipment and other fun hobbies. When I want to kill time in Davis, I go to Comicazi. The staff is friendly, passionate, and very welcoming for all who want to enjoy a new hobby!
Sean: Great little shop with a top of comic options and figurines!! Staff was also super nice when we were browsing around.
Khalyll Williams: I went down there yesterday out of curiosity but what found was very interesting to me when I was a kid ETRL Thomas diecast best part of my life
Miguel Blandon Roldan: Nice I love it
Donovan Jermyn: Pretty cool comic book store. Reminds me of the outer limits in Waltham but with a little bit more floor space.
Laura Vona: Great selection, super prices too!
Leo Lee: Lots of figure..surprised
Bill F: A great old school comic, game, and book store. It even has a backroom for gaming, readings and other events. Still the one area this store stands out is its action figures, miniatures, and toys related to the publications they sell. So many are displayed and for sale around the store. They span a breath of genres and decades, to please customers of all ages.
Adrien Hello: Very organized comic book and figurine shop with a small manga section. Owner is friendly and knowledgeable about everything in the store.
JMC Channel i: One of the best selections of new and old comic books, graphic novels, and magazines, I have seen in a long time
Radio OfHorror: Great comic book store
Jay Scotland: My first time walking into the store. My experience was amazing. The staff are friendly. They have a wide variety of comics, toys, trading cards etc. I bought some Pokémon cards and will definitely go back again.
rudi scherff: Great shop with cards, comics, toys, and kind staff
Dale Vasco: So many toys from my past.. Had to leave with just one G.i.joe
Anthony Adam: Cool store, run by cool people
Patrick Shepherd: Lots of complete trades and collections. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable

The Million Year Picnic: what do users think?
Ianna Hawkins Owen: TONY RULES. I LOVE THIS SHOP. AHHHHH.
Radio OfHorror: Such a great classic old school style comic book store. The oldest in New England thanks for carrying Vlada. A Dracula Tale
Jordan Moore: A great selection of new and used comics and graphic novels. The store manager also went above and beyond to help me look for a niche collection of a comics from 1987 that I wanted to purchase as a gift. Really appreciated the extra help, as I know nothing about comics
RoadTrip NewEngland: Great old-school indie comic shop, that actually stocks lots of comics. The shelves are full of comics, the boxes on the shelves are full of comics and the displays are full of comics that have been collected into graphic novels. You’ll find tons of backlist here and old issues. The selection is great with tons of bestselling and cult favorite titles. The store is in the basement level under (approx) the Verizon store in Harvard Square. You’ll notice the window displays at ground level as you walk by.
Terato Marty: Everything from the big publishers down through indie titles to zines banged out on someone's home printer. Plus they sold my zine back in the day.
Gianna P: went in on a whim and was so pleasantly surprised!! amazing selection of comics and graphic novels for all ages and types. diverse range of comics too (especially in the indie section). the woman who was working there yesterday was such a joy to talk to as well, and very helpful! definitely recommend going here as opposed to some place like newbury comics, support a local black owned business!!
Loren Chen: Amazing and knowledgeable owner. More variety than your average comic book store. A must visit!
Michael A. Burstein: This is a great store for all your comic and graphic novel needs. They have everything and if they don’t they can get it for you. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Sandesh Joshi: Such an amazing book store. I wanted to visit it for a long time and finally was able to visit it. We entered the stored right around their closing time. I just wanted to take a look but they let us browse for some time. The collection they have is great and it was really difficult for us to get just few books as we wanted to get all of them. Definitely going to visit again.
Sula Gordon: Great place! The selection is amazing and the owner is the sweetest
Ember Heck: loved inching through the quiet stacks of comics here, so many treasures to discover
Anyenda Inyagwa: Tony is incredibly nice and provides a great customer experience. I can't recommend this place enough.
Lucy Backman: Just tell the staff what you're interested in and you'll have something new to read in your hands before you've finished your sentence. Love this place and the staff are awesome, everything they've recommended has been a new favorite. Great selection on manga, comics, and graphic novels.
Roy Hebert: Stellar service. Store was very responsive over email and phone; the entire process was a breeze. They were very willing to work out pickup vs. delivery options and had everything I was looking for in stock. Thanks, Picnic!
C M: A wonderful friendly local comic shop with a lot of heart and great staff. After COVID forced me to relocate out of state, they have been incredibly helpful in getting my subscriptions sent to me. Can't recommend them enough!
Devon: Wonderful experience buying books for a course. Tony is delightful and I am excited to come back just for fun.
Jordan: Great little store with a wide variety of titles.
diana macarthur: Lovely, informative, friendly staff!
Alexander Herlihy: Amazing books
James Bacon: Definite for comic fans. This comic shop is small for a US Store, but crikey, they fit in a lot. They have a huge stock and the guys at the desk know their stuff. I’d love them to expand (I know, it’s tough) and my most recent visit they seemed to be working hard to get more order on the back issue area. I found a bargain and was quite pleased. Always worth a visit.
PeeJay Clarke: Best comic store in Cambridge

New England Comics: what do users think?
andrew nickerson: Great service and I like the small store feel. It's super sad that this location is closing.
Jaime Roman: Update the page. I want to go off so bad on here that I drove 2 hours. For you to have a paper on the door that Sundays now closed. When I looked beforehand. Thank you for the waste of time.
Joseph Chow: They now sell trading card pages 5 for $1 or 1 for 25¢.
john jordan: Nice place, good selection.
Joseph Vendetti: Best comic shop around
James Reetzke: Very friendly staff!
Kaz Filus: The comics at this place are super well organized. Finding what you want is super easy. And the staff is super helpful if you aren't seeing what you're looking for.
Brian Rodrigues: Great store. Very helpful.
James Bacon: Warm welcome with a great stock of comics. This is one of the smaller NEC shops but it’s chockablock full of comics and ephemera. They have an excellent bargain GN section and overall I often find the more unexpected comic here.Hannah, in charge Today, was delightfully brilliant in her knowledge of comics and we spoke at length about Star Wars comics and of course I picked up some issues based on her recommendations. Such a friendly and positive experience.
Erin Ford: Wonderful and vast selection and very friendly staff. The woman who was behind the the counter when i was there was an absolute delight! She had read just about every graphic novel on the bookshelf and could give you a synopsis of any one you picked. She recommended this book and the author to me after i asked for a colorfully illustrated historical fiction with a cartoony art-style. Needless to say she was right and I couldn’t put this book down! Thank you to the cool lady with the lip piercing and to New England Comics! -Erin
Joseph Chaves: Very friendly staff. Helped me pick out a new series to read.
Olivier Discazeaux (Discaz): Great selection of comic books at a gentle price (They seems to often have salesor second hands books). One of the best in the neighborhood.
Alex Reganata: Lemme tell you about this place. The people here are extremely friendly - they will share their personal expertise and knowledge of the material with you in a heartbeat. Let them recommend something to you, and you'll be pleasantly surprised!
Josh Hensley: Small but knowledgeable
Marc Duby: Great selection, always good deals
Andy H.: Amazing
Bud Sims: Friendly staff and a great selection
Dan RK: Deeply knowledgeable staff, great selection, and a general feeling of being in the right place the comic lover.
Eric Cheung: Great local shop. This place was my go to for my weekly comics when I went to school in cambridge. Staff is great, and always stop by when I'm in town
Joe Mac The Car Guy: Best place to get comic books!
Chad Rankin: I love thid comic shop. Friendly service, they sell the lstest msgic the gathering cards as well as other trading card games, and are knowledgable on release dates of various items in their store. I highly recommend giving them a visit.

Xavier robert: Le bonheur des petits et grands enfants
John Carpenter: The best collectable store I've ever been to. Awesome
Jason Panzera: This comic shop is a ton of fun! There’s a sticker, plushie, or comic figurine for everyone. We spent longer here than we expected to because it was so entertaining. We had to give ourselves a spending limit or we’d have filled our suitcases!
Oliver: Always find neat stuff here. One of my favorite places to look for comics and vinyls.
clov: SO MUCH STUFF!!! lowkey insane loved the selection of vinyls
Steven Royalty: A little pricey as with most stores of this kind but the staff was very friendly.
Alex C: A good record selection (decent selection of metal too) across three floors of other pop culture goodness. Always a fun stop.
Scott Dietz: Is a pretty big store that seemed like it had lots of stuff. Was just wandering around looking while others were shopping.
Doreen M: Awsome!!! Bought my daughter a Ghost vynl. She loves it. Little pricey. Lots of cool stuff.

K P: Love this place. I go read comics in their aisles every time I'm in the city. No one ever bothers me even if I'm there for a couple hours.Really nice place, has oddly liminal space vibes for somewhere with such personality. I always walk out after finishing a Manga/comic book feeling disjointed/disconnected from the world. In a good way though.

Newbury Comics: what do users think?
Nikoloz Gogilidze: nice store. The problem is that goods are placed in uncomfortable manner. its very hard to choose the size or even the image on the T-shirt
D heartfield: I don't remember how many Bukowski books I bought here . . .
marcie schonborn: Love this store have all kinds of wonderful gifts for the comic lover
Jalisa Jackson: It's a really great place! The bottom floor with all the vinyls brought back so many memories. 10/10 can't wait to go back
Misty Clark: Not the same as the 90s. Less music more junk...e.g. plushies, clothing, bobbleheads, etc.
Andrew: Amazing Selection. Prices can be a little high but I've never been to a record store that made me choose which of my favorite albums I should buy because they have so many of them.
Jason Vaters: Great selection.
عبدالله الهاجري: ممتع لاهل المسلسلات والانمي فيه حركات وتذكارات جميله
Eli Roth: A lot of cool stuff, and had some good deals
pigeonhed13: Killer clearance section
Jimmy999 X: The original spot. The mother ship that started it all!! Definitely changed a lot from the early 80s storefront. 2 floors now and surprisingly they only sell new/current comics. In the old days they had bins of collectible comic books. Now, everything is in encyclopedic volumes. Takes away from the childhood experience. The staff is exceptionally helpful and cheery. A lot of cool and collectible items to be perused and bought. A definite stop.if visiting Boston.
Diavolo281: Pour les fans de comics ou autres objets , figurines, pop etc.. c'est le top , un conseil a boston il y en a 2 , le mieux est celui ou se trouve le quincy market . Il est très grand est plus de choix
Alex C: I've always enjoyed checking out a Newbury Comics store, and this is the original. A decent selection of vinyl records, but doesn't appear to be restocked very often. A good selection of Funko Pops, comics, and graphic novels. I always enjoy drooling over the action figures and statues.
Aric Peterson: I do miss the days when their focus was on music and comics.
douglas roberts: Lots of fun stuff to browse, toys, tees, music on vinyl and much more 😎
Griffin Chapple: I’ve been coming here since 2018. The vinyl, anime, TCG, and clothing selections are all outstanding. Ended up buying a defective item last night, so I called the store up to see if we could make an exchange. Laura, the manager on duty took great care of me & got everything sorted out with ease. Great store, selection, and location!
Max Aronow: Legendary location for comics
Mathieu Leonard: Great find, lots of great things for comic fans. Place was packed when we went, I found very nice stuff. Well located too.
Interesting Character: Didn’t realize scalpers could own record stores
Kd M: Records in the basement.
James Rawstron: It's a wicked good time on Newbury St in Boston
