We did our google search diligence and found Zev's portfolio, and we loved his photos. We reached out back in 2020 and hired him after speaking with him on the phone and in person. Originally we had our wedding scheduled for 2021 but re-scheduled due to the continued onslaught of COVID to 2022. Luckily, Zev was able to accommodate the new date.We also used Zev for our engagement photo shoot where we shot mostly around Boston Common but other places in Boston as well. He did a great job to keep us relaxed and at ease. My wife is camera shy, so we did our best to keep her relaxed, and Zev did a great job. We ended up using some of the photos for our save the date invite.Zev was great in keeping continued communication with us. As we got closer to the date, we worked through a shared document on the timeline as well as what photos were a "must have". On the wedding day, he and 1 other colleague did a great job throughout the day capturing all of our moments. Our wedding went longer than expected, but Zev was nice enough to stay longer to capture all of the photos that we requested.Zev was great throughout the entire wedding process. When our photos were ready, we discussed our wedding album and he made the adjustments in real time and the albums came out impeccable. Our parents are very impressed. But then we ended up booking an indoor venue for our winter wedding, the Parker House in Boston, which is a beautiful, historic, yet super dark building. This was so crucial! There was a big storm during our wedding day and everything was quite dark, but Bella knew how to capture so much richness and variety in her gallery for us. It is one of those rare occasions where these indoor photos look and feel like how we experienced the spaces in-person!Bella is a detailed and thoughtful photographer; which starts from her in-depth questionnaires to get to know you as a couple and your goals for the day, and continues throughout the experience. Her guidance in posing was also so helpful; Alex and I are not used to being photographed, and we requested, and she provided, very granular feedback, in the moment, of how to adjust ourselves, how to play to the light, and how to relate to each other, which made us feel more confident! And the results were wonderful.Bella Wang is not only an incredible photographer and artist, but she also was one of the most helpful and decisive people we worked with that day – which really helps with a big wedding! She even helped to bustle my dress for the reception! She has great upbeat yet quiet energy and it really helped keep Alex and I focused so we could get all the shots we wanted. Colin Walsh: Carly was absolutely phenomenal to work with from the point of booking to album delivery and hiring her to photograph our wedding is one of the best decisions I’ve made! One of the many things that impressed me the most about Carly was how efficient she was - we had plenty of time to relax and freshen up before our ceremony after having our first look and got to enjoy a lot of our cocktail hour because of how quickly she was able to get her shots without in any way sacrificing opportunities to get good photos. We have SO many stunning pictures to the point where I seriously struggle to narrow them down to favorites to use for photo albums/frames. On top of this, she was so personable and just a joy to be around that she felt more like a friend taking our pictures, which made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and have so much fun that we were able to truly enjoy the entire experience. I could go on and on about how great it was to work with Carly and how amazing her work is, but for the sake of the length of this review…we got everything we could have imagined and more working with Carly and I could not recommend her enough!!

Chelsea DeJonge: Hiring Carly for our wedding day was without a doubt the best decision we made throughout our entire planning process. Carly is the absolute best of the best- she is kind, professional, responsive, and SO talented at what she does. After booking Carly for our wedding day we had our engagement photos and we immediately knew we made the right decision. She made my husband and I feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera and we were able to relax, have fun, and truly enjoy the experience. We then had to postpone our original wedding date because of COVID, and Carly made the process so easy- she was reassuring, extremely kind, and had wonderful communication with us. We finally had our wedding day last month, and Carly exceeded every single one of our expectations (which were already high from our engagement pictures!) by a mile. My husband and I are still speechless by the photos and amazed by how well she captured the emotions of the day. When I look at the photos I truly feel that I am back re-living every moment because of how well she captured both of our emotions. Carly was so easy to work with throughout every stage of the planning process because of how responsive she was to every single question we had, and the great direction she provided us with a detailed timeline. In addition, Carly sent us photos the day after our wedding, a full preview two days later, and our entire gallery a very short three weeks later! I was so thankful to have our photos back so quickly, and am truly blown away by them. Thank you Carly!!

Kristen Gargiulo: The first thing you should do once you get engaged is hire Carly! Without hesitation, Carly is the best of the best. The GOAT. Carly is extremely professional but more than that she unbelievably sweet and personable and makes you feel so incredibly calm and comfortable in front of the camera. Her attention to every detail is impeccable. She studies your timeline to ensure you have every photo you want. She finds the most perfect lightening, even if it means pausing to wait for that one cloud so you aren’t squinting in the sun. She never misses a shot of your veil flowing in the wind. I swear I could go on and on! Her work truly brings your love to life – all candid and genuine, not stiff and staged. It is hard to put into words the feelings you get as you review your photo gallery with your significant other. It is so incredibly special to relive your day through her work! Kaleigh Hamilton: Carly was one of the best vendors we worked with, and I would 100% recommend that every couple hire her for their wedding! A friend recommended Carly to us and we fell in love with her work on her website. She set up some calls to get to know us and perfectly captured our personalities in her photos. We started with an engagement shoot, which I was initially nervous about because my husband and I are not usually comfortable in front of a camera. But once we got started Carly made us feel totally at ease and gave us some poses and movements to get us laughing and comfortable. We had such a fun time during the engagement shoot, and the photos came out so natural and beautiful.Before the wedding, Carly was super organized and responsive to all my many questions. She helped us put together a wedding day timeline from scratch, and more importantly helped us stick to our schedule on our wedding day. Carly suggested the most picturesque spots in Boston for our wedding photos, including couple photos at the Old City Hall, which were some of our favorite shots. Carly was super professional, friendly, and attentive on our wedding day, and she made the photos run so smoothly even with a huge wedding party. She was a pleasure to work with before the wedding and on the wedding day, and she is unbelievably talented. The photos are absolutely stunning. Carly got our gallery to us so quickly, which is really impressive especially with all the other weddings and engagement shoots she has in the summertime. Looking at our gallery is like reliving our wedding day, and with each picture we feel we are back in that moment. The photos are natural and beautiful and dreamy, and the happiness and love we felt on our wedding day shines through in every photo. We have already looked at the gallery a thousand times, and we will continue to look back at it for the rest of our lives together to relive our special day. Hiring Carly was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and we would recommend her to every other couple!

Emily Marschok: Where do I even start?! Carly is BEYOND talented. I booked Carly as soon as I booked my venue back in January 2019 without hesitation after seeing her work. Fast forward through the COVID-19 pandemic, Carly was with us at every step of the way, postponement after postponement. Carly was always a phone call/text away, and I knew I couldn't lose her. Carly sent a detailed timeline weeks in advance of my wedding, provided advice for locations based on her knowledge and experience of the lighting. Carly exceeded ALL expectations on the day of our wedding. She showed up early, answered all my questions before I could even ask them, had a plan for our first look since our original location was a bit crowded. She was on the ball and ahead of everything. Carly does it all, from helping me with my veil, holding items from my fiancé's pocket, giving our trolley driver directions, knowing the ins and outs of Boston, handled the chaos of extended family formals. Beyond all of that, she delivers high quality work as this speaks for itself. I couldn't recommend Carly enough. Thank you, thank you!

Joie Ganley: Carly is so AMAZING and TALENTED! Not only does Carly go above and beyond to capture timeless and classic photos, but is also so helpful! From carrying trains, help bustling dresses, keeping calm and making everyone feel so comfortable and beautiful during the photos! It was an honor to have Carly capture our wedding and engagement photos! So in love with her work!!

Alexa Hill: After seeing Carly’s work after getting engaged in 2018 I knew I had to have her. I reached out immediately and booked her before any other vendor. Then Covid hit, and to say that planning and rescheduling a wedding during a global pandemic was difficult and emotional would be an understatement. Carly was there every step of the way to provide guidance, listen to me complain and vent, follow up on our plans and when we decided to change our date there was no doubt that whatever date we chose had to work around Carly’s schedule. To this day that was the best decision my husband and I made. Throughout the course of planning Carly became a friend and someone that I knew I could trust to help make decisions that were best for my now husband and I. On the day of the wedding Carly was an absolute blessing and such a calming presence. She helped to keep everything on schedule and make adjustments on the fly when things got off track, she kept me calm, made me laugh, and it really felt like I had a friend by my side all day. When we got our sneak peeks back the next day I was absolutely speechless, the photos were absolutely stunning and I couldn’t wait to see more. Thankfully we didn’t have to! Carly got us back our final photos just TWO WEEKS later! I was in awe at the turnaround time and the quality of the images and my husband and I were in tears looking through them as they captured the day to an absolute tee. We are so obsessed with them all that we literally cannot decide on which ones to have printed. Carly is the best of the best. I feel so lucky to have had her as a part of our day and to have the most beautiful, raw, candid photos to look back on and cherish for the rest of our lives.

brittany arnone: Ok, where do I start? Simply put, Carly is AMAZING. Not only is she exceptionally talented, but she has the BEST personality, makes you feel SO comfortable and is SUPER easy to talk to. We were lucky enough to have Carly shoot both our engagement and our micro wedding celebration and, boy, did she deliver! She is open to any and all creativity. She takes your ideas and brings them to reality, tenfold. Navigating a wedding is challenging in itself, never mind during a global pandemic. Carly went above and beyond to ensure we felt safe on the day of our wedding (as both of our dads have compromised health). No question or favor was too big to ask of her. The best part? She was open to any type of conversation. In our opinion, Carly is the whole package and she is 10000% worth the investment. She has a magical way of capturing the most intimate moments in the most beautiful way.
