They are not interested. “Buy a new one, too old, it’s going to cost $200-300 with shipping to send it back to Hunter Douglas, and they may not be able to repair it “. That’s was said to me when I brought in a repair on 3/29/22. Went to Home Trends in Needham, repaired within 24 hours, $40.00. That’s where all my future business will be going. Get off your high horse and treat your customers with respect, kindness, and some compassion.

Erik Newton: After the long journey to total renovation of our post-war home, the time finally came for window treatments--the fun stuff. Part of our concerns were about impact resistant french doors with too much light at times and not enough privacy. We sought advice from many vendors, who told us there was no good solution without outside mounting to the wall (hiding our molding) or ruining the integrity of the doors. Then we stumbled on Matt and Barrow Custom Window Treatments. He offered a special product made for this type of situation that is a blind of the highest quality attached with adhesive. Problem solved. Where others failed, Matt came through with the breadth and depth of his product offerings, materials, incomparable design aesthetic, and a can-do attitude when we needed it most. Michelle Tallman: I recently purchased new blinds and shades for my whole house from the Blinds To Go in Everett, MA. We’ve used Blinds To Go before for our dining room shade, and deck blinds, and had good luck. I must say the whole experience from choosing the blinds to installation went very smoothly, and my blinds look beautiful! Our sales person, John wasn’t pushy at all. I really appreciated him being not pushy as it gave me a chance to ask questions, think ideas through, and feel confident that he was giving us his honest opinion. He was pleasant and responsive with my calls for questions. Ultimately, we ended up with the look and price point that met our needs. Since we were doing the whole house, we splurged for measurement, and installation by their professionals. It was a few hundred dollars extra for 14 windows, but it ended up being well worth it! The windows were measured correctly, and the installation took him about an hour. This probably would have taken my husband far longer. They were very professional about communicating, who is coming and when, and arriving on time. So far, very happy with my window treatments. Just need get the wrinkles out of my Roman shades.

shashiadsul: Colors of shades are mismatched. In bedrooms shades delivered are not what we ordered..color is different and are not blackout as ordered. Store person is not ready to accept its a mistake on their part and extremely rude in email communication. Not yet confirmed what is the correction planned. Extremely disappointed.

maureen costantino: I placed an order in person at the end of September and was told it would take possibly 8 weeks. After 12 weeks I sent an email but got no response so then I called and spoke to a man. He said my order was on hold because they had called me multiple times and left messages but did not hear back from me. Apparently they needed a confirmation for the order . I explained to him that I never received any message from store at all. If a message was left, it was left at wrong number. He then said he was going to see if he could expedite my order which he indeed did do. He provided great service. I still don’t understand the part about a confirmation needed because I placed the order and paid for half of it at the time so that is confusing to me. Best, Maureen Costantino

They came in much faster than expected and were patient when I had to reschedule multiple times. When I needed to match window hardware from 30 years ago, it took only minutes to explain and he understood, searched and found what I needed.The shop is just what it says:CURTAINS. Quality pieces which will last, rather than tossing things out in a few years due to wear and breakdown. Hardware to create an effect in a home. The specialization that's been lost with online and box stores really does still exist somewhere!We don't go to a cardiologist for a root canal, or an orthodontist after a heart attack, why would you go to a department store to creste your look, or order online without even touching the fabric? Curtain Time has a massive variety of window dressing and hardware, operated by a specialist in his field who also has resources to help find or make special pieces to fit your home's needs. And not at an exorbitant cost either.Ilya Kohen made me feel something I haven't feel in years.. like a customer whose input matters and whom he wanted to sincerely help.Thank you for being there when I needed your help Mr. Kohen, for understanding my needs, your kindness and diligence in getting me what i need, and for reminding me that special or usual window needs can be met by Curtain Time. Ilya spent a lot of time with my wife and I going over what the various offerings were, delivery times and install times. He came to our house a few days later and measured everything, again, spending a couple hours with us and bringing a few samples as well. We settled on Luminettes and Silhouettes by Hunter Douglas. Delivery was to be in 6 weeks or so with install shortly after he received them. Schedule was accurate the install was done in a very reasonable time frame that fit our schedules. No issues, delays or glitches at all.Overall, an outstanding experience with Curtain Time and Ilya. Great product, service was awesome and the product is just what we wanted for our house. When The Blinds Side opened at their new location in West Roxbury, they advertised a great introductory offer and I was put in touch with the owner, David, who came to my home, measured my windows and showed me many samples. I wanted something to add natural warmth and texture to my suburban "bungalow". I immediately fell in love with something that I knew would update my windows to replace the boring big box slatted blinds to a grass shade that allowed light to filter in but still offered privacy from my neighbors. The blinds were super affordable, arrived expeditiously and were hung in less than 30 minutes, just in time for my garden party. I adore the look and receive accolades from everyone who enters to my home since they were installed. I had one "problem" with the hardware that required a little adjustment. I called David on his cell phone. He came back to my house the following day band was able to quickly solve the problem. . He actually ordered a replacement shade SHOULD I need it. He is a true professional, super sweet and amazing to work with!!!! I wish i could give Dave and this company 6 stars!!!
