Kyle Godding: Receptionists, Dental Assistant and Oral Surgeon were extremely friendly, proffesional an showed genuine consideration. Only complaint is I was told that my insurance was accepted there and have never paid for service my insurance pays a certain amount per procedure then I pay a small amount. After my visit I was required to pay for half of the total amount which was significantly higher than what I normally pay. I fear I will be stuck with this bill if Gentle Dental is out of network.

Laura: Dr. Veksler is AMAZING!! I've had issues with novocain not working in the past, so I was very nervous today. She made it completely painless and was very patient with my anxiety. She is kind, compassionate, and an excellent dentist!!

jennifer rein: I went to Dr. Natasha Veskler this week for a teeth whitening (Groupon) and a teeth cleaning! I was previously seeing a dentist in Southie and decided to do a cleaning while I was there for the whitening. She was amazing. My teeth are now pearly white and clean. I have never had the dentist provide the cleaning itself and I think that is such a nice personal touch - and a time saver because you’re usually waiting around for the dentist to come in after the hygienist cleans. Overall, a great experience and will definitely transfer all my dental care to here. I had X-rays taken and no cavities! Especially on a first visit to a dentist, I am always weary of dentists who find multiple cavities or problems that need to be fixed. You can tell Dr. Veskler actually cares about what she does and is not just looking for a paycheck!

Didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need either. There was no hygienist or assistant cleaning my teeth either. Natasha did it all. I am flying back east for only a few days and am literally going to try and squeeze in an appointment instead of finding a new dentist where I've been staying on the west coast.

I put off going to the dentist for years due to previous bad experiences and feel so incredibly lucky to have found Dr. Veksler. Her office has all the latest state of the art equipment. Her deep cleanings (even scalings) are painless.My experience here has always been easy, fast and dare i say relaxing (Pavarotti playing while you get your teeth cleaned? yes please!).

She said I was in the middle of the way and not helping at all! She said that in such a confrontational tone of voice. It was awful!I felt they were treating us that way because we had a Groupon deal and we were not their regular type of clients.Please do yourself a favor and stay away from Atlantic Ave Dental Group!!!

A S: This clinic talks a good game on the first visit - where they seem thorough and attentive. But have found visits after the first to be pretty underwhelming. Dentists barely check the mouth and sometimes don’t show up at all.
Hilary Chang: I did two cleaning, a root canal, and two crowns here. My hygienist, Linda, is always so kind and incredibly through. The crowns Dr. Tonelli's made for me were state of art I can barely feel the difference between them and my original teeth. I really feel they treat my teeth like their owns with their professionality and passion. Best dental service I've ever received.

Nancy Chan: I really enjoy coming to this office for my dental cleanings and check-ups. The office is run efficiently, they have convenient late afternoon hours, and the staff are friendly and helpful. My dental hygienist Maureen is personable, friendly, and pleasant, and she is very thorough with the cleanings. Dr. Mizner is amazing. He's positive and friendly. Most importantly, he is a very good dentist with a conservative approach towards drillings and fillings. I left my previous dentist because they were trying to give me preventative fillings all over because my teeth have deep grooves. That didn't feel right. So I switched over and that was years ago. And guess what? I have had NO issues with NOT doing those preventative fillings. Fill them when they're sticky!
Lena Kikuchi: I've been going to Dr Mizner for over 10 years. He has always been fabulous! He truly cares for the dental well being of his patients. I trust his professional opinion and have recommended him to many people. The hygenists are also so friendly and professional - they always do a great job cleaning! The other thing that I love about this place is that they are so up to date on their technology - every instrument is advanced and you know you are getting the best of the line treatment in every respect.

Jim Duane: Kayla, my hygienist, was thorough, gentle, and pleasant throughout the cleaning. Dr. Del Castillo was his usual pleasant self when he briefly examined my teeth after the cleaning.
Eric Wiberg: Superlative well prepared and solutions orientated as well as cost conscious.
Max Hsia: Before establishing with this practice, take a look at the hours they list as being open. Usually, it's something like 8am-4pm, 3-4 days per week, maybe fewer in the Summer. If that works for you, then this practice may be a reasonable general dentistry practice conveniently located close to Beacon Hill.On the other hand if you're a working professional at MGH or work at a professional office that opens at 8am or earlier, good luck. There are at least 3 other practices in a 0.2 mi radius open until 6pm which are likely a better fit.

Juliana Andreina Perez Garcia: I highly recommended it. The whole team is very responsive and proactive. I use an insurance that is out of network, however Nina (at the front desk) sends the message to the insurance and I get the reimbursement check within 2 weeks. I’ve done o e crown (which it gets done on site -you don’t have to wait for it). I’ve done cleaning, fillings and now I’m working on getting an implant on a tooth that is pretty much death an broken. I like to communicate via email and they are very helpful and responsive as well. The best thing is that they won’t do a work that you don’t need. I hope this helps

Next is Michel, when she first became my hygienist -she informed/explained to me all about dental health. I came to her with gingivitis and she did a deep cleaning that helped get rid of the gum disease before it progressed any further. She now does my routine cleaning. I am genuinely impressed with how clean my teeth feel and how nice they look every time I get up from her chair. You will love meeting her and she makes teeth cleaning cool, WTH? And Dr. Luis is an excellent dentist. He is attentive, great with his patients, and did a wonderful job on my X-Rays and fillings. Both Michel and Dr. Luis are knowledgeable professionals who take pride in their dental work and it shows. I know my teeth are getting the best care and I'm so grateful to have found such a special dental office here in Boston -it’s been life changing.

tmb tmbar: This dental office is amazing! I was treated by Dr. Castillo and found him to be knowledgeable, kind, and very thorough. My previous dentist had suggested I prepare to get a crown for a chipped tooth, but as the damage to the tooth didn't seem to warrant such drastic measures, I decided to get a second opinion. I love that Beacon Hill Dental takes a conservative approach to dentistry, and Dr. Castillo told me it's best in most cases to keep as much of the original tooth as possible. As such, he suggested my tooth would merely need a filling, so he ended up fixing the temporary filling my previous dentist put in. My previous dentist had left a huge gap between the neighboring tooth which had been causing me pain during meals as food would get stuck and push into the gum. Dr. Castillo fixed that problem too. I am so thrilled I found Beacon Hill Dental and couldn't be happier with the work Dr. Castillo did. If you're looking for a professional and knowledgeable dental office who cares about the health of your teeth, make an appointment here. They are simply amazing!

B. W.: Great reintroduction after so long away. Informative as usual. I've found the environment conducive to getting a handle on my oral care over time. The cleanings have been well integrated with basic checkups and alerts as needed, and reasonably thorough. Surguries have been essentially pain-free and have lived up to expectations, although I was a bit crushed that my wisdom teeth didn't come out whole (Sigh.) After the usual hiccups for awhile there in the pandemic I was impressed with the adaptations the office made upon reopening, and these days there's a nice compromise been struck between the old old normal and the not so old hidden. (Here's hoping for all our futureI). With assistance from my experts at W&S I now hope to again ramp up my oral well being - we'll see how that pans out in a few months - and while I'll miss Dr. Warshauer, and - yes- continue to remember Dr. Baker, I look *forward* to interfacing with our new Dr. B.

I've been to many dentists before and this is the first where I feel assured that when I sit in that chair, I can relax knowing that they will do a great job. Dr. Pike is a superstar and is really helpful and thorough answering questions. My fillings look and feel great. She did an awesome job adjusting my bite back to "normal" after the fillings, which was a problem I had with a previous dentist. She also made sure I was comfortable the entire time and would listen to my feedback. I feel genuinely cared for and have already recommended this practice to friends. I no longer dread going to the dentist!
David Ricaud: I love this place. Going to the dentist isn’t necessarily a fun to-do, but Dr. Rooney and her team make it a worthwhile experience! It’s a well-run operation with genuinely friendly staff, top-quality dentistry, and a warm and welcoming decor. Beyond cleaning and whatnot, I’ve had major work done here (veneers), and the work was superb. A+ team.
