Christie Slayton: Truly not sure how this place has such good reviews. I made an appointment to get my rosacea looked at and was excited because of the high ratings and quick appointment availability. The experience was fine once there although the first thing the doctor recommended was laser which seemed extreme. She then said she would prescribe a topical cream though an online pharmacy who would email and call me with the information to get the prescription filled and shipped to me. I thought this was odd too that I couldn’t just go to a CVS but figured I’d try it. It’s been almost two weeks and I have heard NOTHING regarding my prescription. I’ve called the office multiple times with no response or claims from the front desk that they’d leave a message, and have now even gotten insurance involved because I don’t want to now have to pay whatever they will be charging me for a visit in which they didn’t honor their prescription. I’ve never experienced something so ridiculous. What a waste of time.
T E: Check their Yelp reviews - you'll see the real ratings. They are the worst dermatology office I've ever been to in Boston or NYC.Their phone systems never work, randomly hangs up or goes to voicemail after long holds. They change appointments all the time. Some people are so sweet, some people have incredible attitude.It is just so poorly run across the board.

Elaine Murphy: Not many waiting rooms are worth the wait, but this one is! Great old photos of Copley Square with trolleys and horse carriages. There are old maps as well. Great viewing. Oh and the medical care is outstanding.

Jessica: My various experiences here have been less than ideal. Of note, the receptionist I have dealt with has been rude, short, and made it clear she was annoyed having to deal with me. As with my first visit, my concern was not properly dealt with and I had to make a follow up appointment for it to be properly addressed and treated. The first time I had to follow up, I saw Dr. Graber who was excellent and addressed my concerns with kindness and attention. Unfortunately I have learned that she no longer takes any medical cases. The most recent visit left me incredibly disappointed. My concerns were dismissed, my concern was barely examined for more than 3 seconds, and my follow up questions/requests were ignored. My issue got worse, as I had expected and verbalized to the doctor, and when I called back to schedule a follow up appointment (which I was told to do), I found out I couldn't be seen for another 5 days. Very upsetting experience to feel like a burden as a patient and to not be taken seriously.

Clearly this place has no office organization. Extremely disappointing experience.

Dawn McGurn: Dr. Yancovitz is wonderful! She is very professional and knowledgeable as well as down to Earth and personable. She took the time to go over my pathology report with me and made sure I understood it. During surgery she explained everything she was doing and made sure I was feeling comfortable during the entire procedure. Overall it was a pleasant experience during a difficult time and I would highly recommend Dr. Yancovitz to my friends and family. Her office staff and nurses were top notch as well!
Harwood: Was referred to Dr. Yancovitz for a minor surgery. As someone that is not exactly keen on operations and needles and such (had never even gotten stitches before), she made it as quick and easy as possible. Also super friendly and makes for some good conversation. Absolutely recommend!
carol brennan: I received outpatient Mohs surgery last week performed by Dr. Molly Yancovitz. From the moment of my arrival until discharge, I had an excellent experience. Nurses AnnMarie and Victoria took good care of me and Alex assisted getting me checked in and made comfortable. Dr. Yancovitz told me what was happening every step of the way during surgery and made sure I understood the procedure and what to do Post-Op. Dr. Yancovitz called me the following morning to hear how I was doing - most impressive! I would highly recommend this doctor and this practice at Mass Eye and Ear to all.

Nancy Teed: My experiences with Dr Dover have all been quite positive. He listens to any concerns and answers my questions thoroughly. I never feel rushed. He has a kind, caring, empathetic manner about him and I do feel as though he cares about me as a person. I find Dr Dover to be extremely personable and look forward to our visits.All supporting services to this office are alsotop notch. The nurses are professional, friendly and thorough. The schedulers are competent and get back to me in a timely manner when needed. The billing department has been quite helpful and patient when dealing with insurance concerns.If only all doctors’ offices could be run this well!

As I was looking for my insurance card information, a middle aged woman with a condescending tone said to one of her colleagues without knowing I could hear “wow I told him I’d wait a second I didn’t mean 5 minutes” I was diagnosed with melanoma at this same place a few years ago. This is unacceptable

Linda Conneely: I have been a patient of Dr. Michael Kaminer for over three years after trying three other Cosmetic practices. I mostly saw all nurse practitioners. There is absolutely no comparison to Dr. K and his professionalism, knowledge and artistry! He is honest and will not do anything he does not think you need. He is very personable and listens to you. He has a “Secret Weapon” that is so simple but works wonders. My face is mine again thanks to Dr. Kaminer . He is the absolute best!

My face is permanently disfigured, no way I could work for at least 2 weeks, total disregard for how I felt or how this has affected my life. The front desk haphazardly charges copays that weren’t required. This is literally one of the worst medical experiences of my life. MD had total disregard for what she did to my face, I will never return and will also advise family and friends to stay away

On THREE occasions, including today they have reached out the day before to cancel the appointment only to offer another appointment months later again. They’ve sent my prescribtion to the wrong pharmacy. Very unprofessional.
Horace Mo: I don't know why Doctor Wang tries to rush through things every time. I waited for my appointment for over two months and she did the whole face checking for only 10 mins. The prescription and solution she gave did not even help at all. Idk what to say about her professionalism. A person seems nice but not very helpful at all.
Judy Tsafrir: I was seen at this practice for the first time for a skin check in late May 2021 as I have a history of skin cancer. I saw a dermatologist named Dr. Wang. I was shocked by the cursory nature of her exam. It was not thorough, and I had no confidence that if I did have anything suspicious, that she would have noticed it with the extremely rushed exam she performed. When I expressed to her that the exam did not seem thorough, she said that she was sorry that I felt that way, and proceeded to peer at me for another couple of minutes and then to assure me that everything was fine. When I was a medical student, there was a joke that when "WNL" was recorded on the physical exam, which was supposed to stand for "Within Normal Limits", it more accurately stood for "We Never Looked." I was charged a $150 co-pay for this pro forma exercise. I will not be returning to this practice.
Andy Kinan: Was a long time patient with Dr. Rockoff going back to the early 2000's. Had very good success with laser treatments for hyperpigmentation. As time went on when making appts with Rockoff, I was treated by his staff. Even after I requested to be seen by Rockoff. Trusting his staff was catastrophic to my health which affects me negatively every day. Physician Asistant ( Meghan Webb) performed a dangerous procedure on my face ( electrodessication) which permanantly scarred my face, and caused nerve damage.They misrepresent and lie. Destroy lives.

Luisa Raposo: This is a relatively new practice in a nice space in Brookline Village. They have an airy space, tastefully decorated, a welcoming staff able and willing to help with all matters of insurance, and a patient and informative Doktor that listens to you and explains what you need to know. If you send them a message, they reply within a few hours. I am very, very happy that I found them!

Emily Yang: I paid $75 for laser removal of fibromas around my nose. It's been a month now, and those bumps are still present, but now more red and inflamed (I made sure to follow their instructions and wear sunscreen, avoided UV exposure during the recovery period). I messaged the clinic for some form of compensation; Dr. Doktor responded to these concerns by vaguely saying that she'll look at them at my next appointment, with no guarantee that she wouldn't charge me again.I also told her that doxycycline upsets my stomach a lot (even with food), she still pushed me to take it. I've had horrible stomach problems since starting, like I've anticipated, and my acne has not improved.I am giving 1 star at least because the lady at the front desk was unbelievably nice and wonderful at her job.
Alicia Angel: I met Dr. Doktor when she was practicing in Manhattan. She’s thorough, kind and listens to my concerns. She’s knowledgeable about the latest treatments to address my chronic condition. I followed her to Boston because there’s no one like her. Highly recommended!
Cara McCarthy: I'm an (almost) 24 year-old female who has had a keloid on my ear from an industrial piercing that healed wrong since I was 17. Getting constant weird stares and questions made me finally have it removed. Dr. Doktor and her assistant (forgive me I can't remember her name) were incredibly patient, kind, and comforting on the day the keloid (Larry) was removed. They calmed my anxiety, took their time, played music for me, and held my hand through the whole process. I could not have asked for a better experience and would 100% recommend her to anyone who is in my situation. While keloids are not her specialty, patient care definitely is. Thank you so much for making me feel confident putting my hair up again 3

dominique P: I was really determined to get my two keloid scars removed surgically because I've tried steroid injections, silicone gel, and silicone sheets to no avail. So when the Dr. Doktor suggested more steroid shots I was disappointed. It's only been 5 days but my keloid are smaller and softer (squeals loudly) 😁 Highly recommend!

Meghan Moran: I have nothing but amazing things to say about Dr. Treloar and her staff. I had been battling perioral dermatitis for two years. I had seen two other dermatologists and an allergist who were unable to help. A client of mine had a similar issue and referred me to Dr. Treloar. She was immediately able to diagnose me and gave me the proper treatment that had my skin cleared up in two weeks. She's a healer.
Andrea Barone: After reading a review from catharyn tivy, I feel the exact same was as her. Dr Treloar is a terrible Dr. She's dismissive, thinks she know it all and was totally wrong with my diagnose. I had a Angiomas on my nose. She declined to remove it said it would cause a scar. I went to a different Dr who said no big deal, let's take it off. It's been a year now and I'm happy to say, Angioma is gone and NO scar. I'm so glad I don't have to see Dr Treloar ever. I have a much better dermatologist now! Stay away from her, she's not nice.
catharyn tivy: I had really looked forward to seeing Dr. Treloar about my chronic symptoms, especially since she practices Integrative Dermatology, however she made a quick judgment and was very closed-minded about considering any extra details. I'm so disappointed. She was condescending and all of my questions were dismissed as irrelevant. "I guarantee those are actually scars." "That's simply not possible." That's not bloating...it's fat." "Sounds like you need to see a dentist instead." No recommendations other than to wait for skin to slowly heal itself. Worst doctor appointment ever. Her staff were excellent at least.
Kritika Prasher: Dr. Valori is very professional, she listens to the patient properly and provides the best solution.The nurse practitioner is polite and understanding.I have been taking treatment for acne and marks for last 12 years but the doctor here understood me better than anyone else and her prescription worked wonders.
Promise: My three year old had suffered with severe eczema all over her body since 4 months. Dr. Treloar and her team were incredibly thorough, patient and helpful. She was the first doctor to give me hope! It was refreshing to hear about root causes instead of a new load of prescription drugs. I loved her vast array of knowledge. I would highly recommend her!
Diane DiTullio Agostino: Dr. Treloar takes time to fully examine every square inch during your full body check. She takes time to explain what if any concerns there may be. She takes time to work with you to clear up any issues or, if necessary, to refer you to a hospital if necessary. Glad I returned to Dr. Treloar after a BWH doctor found "nothing", but something kept raising NH concerns. Even though she's a distance away, she's worth the travel time.
