steve mike: She's my gastroenterologist and she's fantastic. I collapsed twice prior to having a colonoscopy- I did not tolerate the prep very well- and knowing this, she made it possible for me to stay over the night before my most recent colonoscopy, at Tuft's Medical, just to I'd be safe and receive treatment in case I had any issues. She's very smart, thoughtful, kind and has her patients best interests in mind, and what more could you ask for in a doctor?
K. Ant.: Having severe gastroparesis is challenging and painful and having feeding tubes not fun. However having Dr Allison actually listen, remember and care makes me hopeful. I never feel ignored and during my MANY scopes and tube changes she works with me to reduce my anxiety. More healthcare providers should be like her. She’s very booked up but worth the wait
Laura Barron: Unfortunately, I won't have the opportunity to know what kind of physician Dr Allison is because my appt was canceled the day before I was suppose to be seen. I had been waiting months to see her and wasn't offered anything but a telehealth appointment 2 weeks later. The receptionist barely offered any solutions and wasn't super empathetic. When you are dealing with people who are in pain you cannot treat them like this. It's very unprofessional and even worse it could be life or death. I hope by writing this review it won't happen to anyone else.

Kay Nash: Dr. Lichtenstein and the fellows were very kind to me. Procedures were appropriate as well as the follow ups. I am glad biopsies were done. It put my mind at ease.

Christy Cunningham: I've seen Dr. Anastopoulos for a year now after changing from another MD. Dr. Anastopoulos is not only a great guy, he's incredibly responsive and helpful. I emailed him through the BIDMC patientsite system and instead of responding via email, he called me to chat. I can't remember the last time a doctor took the time to just call me. He's very positive and when you can look forward to seeing your Gastroenterologist, I think that says something. :)

Trent Hagerty: Left several voicemails with the office admin after following their instructions to have my records sent over for review. I asked for confirmation that the records had been received in several voicemails and never got a response.
Heather Hickman: He is not my regular doctor but if I lived closer to Boston he would be! He fit me in for a second opinion and treatment consultation, and he was kind, patient, and thorough. My only disappointment is that he doesn’t practice from a location on the south shore so that I could be his patient permanently.

Elena Koleva: I was desperate to find a specialist in the area of gastroentorology and I picked Dr. Berzin just by seeing his picture at the GI department in BIDMC. I believe the face of someone speaks a lot of their personality and I trusted my instinct. I was absolutely right ~ Dr. Berzin turned out to be the most incredible gastroenterologist I have ever had in my life. He is not only highly educated and talented by nature, but also deeply caring as a person and always on top of his doctor ~ patient relationship in critical situations, prepared with the most current information regarding the health issue he is treating! He always listens very carefully what his patients have to say and with patience and delicacy, he explains the different perspectives in the treatment he thinks is right for his patients no matter how hard is sometimes to convince someone who is scared and reserved in exploring their options! Dr. Berzin is the kind of doctor I trust with my full body and soul. I feel so lucky to have found him!!!
