Museum of Fine Arts, Boston: what do users think?
Linda Sutton: Website is very difficult. Tried for half hour to set up visit this week. When it refused me in spite of membership not expiring until January, I called and THOUGHT I was being helped and until hit with the special $6 charge for a call in reservation. Ugh! Just NO!!Visited on Weekday Reservation recommended Not sure …More
Michele Koester: This very large museum has some wonderful art that is a must see. The Monet room is quite exceptional and beautiful as well as many of the other collection rooms and art. Special exhibits on the other hand seem to be an issue. Timed tickets are required which we purchased for the current Hokusai exhibit. I have no idea why they require timed tickets since we got to the exhibit and it was wall to wall jam packed people - and they just kept letting more and more in - you had to fight your way thru to view what you wanted to view. And it was that way through the entire exhibit. We saw no security or employees watching or guiding. And while I don't wish to offend, people don't care that there are others who wish to view the pieces too - manners are basically non-existent. It's truly a shame that we have to contend with more rudeness these days especially when surrounded by so much incredible beauty. Museum employees that we did find could not even tell us where certain exhibits were in the museum. Don't visit on a weekend if you don't like crowds. We had tickets and still had to wait in a very long line.
Joe K: 미국 역사와 함께 미국의 미술의.역사가 깊지는 않지만 방대한 예술품을 소장하여 그 시대의 모습을 잘 고증하고 있음
Angel Carboni: Love the MFA! I don't think words can describe how great and how important it is to go and visit! There's always new things on display and there's always events going on. As a COF student I'm able to get in for free with membership perks however the normal admission is not bad for the quality and quantity of content there is to explore at the museum! Two visits will never be the same because there's just SO much to see! Honestly could take almost a full week if you're there from opening to close to see all of it!

Chris Capuzzo: Truly beautiful museum. A lot of history to learn. There's always something unique to find there. I don't particularly enjoy most art. However walking through the Greek, Asian, European sections was incredible. Even more incredible was the Egyptian exhibit. I felt like I was getting a glimpse of a world long past. Didn't get a chance to see the whole museum before it closed. Definitely plan to come back.

Erick Conde: This is must when in Boston. Great and diverse collection of the finest arts. Some expositions are seasonal and we had the pleasure of the featuring of the Japanese Hokusai exhibit. At least three floors with global, Asian, African American, and American dedicated spaces. Fully recommend getting the tickets in advance to avoid 30minute to an hour lines. Enjoy!

Hunt's Photo & Video: what do users think?
Alexander James L: The pros:Staff are open and honest about their pricing for second hand, so you know what kind of deal you're getting.Lots of film available, though the mark up is a little pricy.Staff are generally friendly when selling you something, but this is to be expected. The cons :Film development here is really expensive given how slow it is, even if you don't get scans. Also, it took four weeks for my rolls to come back which is somewhat absurd. I was told this was because they're sent off to another lab when pushed, but I was given a timeline of one to two weeks at the store.Worst of all, one of the rolls I got back was completely blacked out, even the coding along the sides. Store staff first said it was due to camera not exposing, but this would produce the opposite effect of clear negatives with the side coding visible. The only conclusion I can come to (this was a roll of hp5 I had bought from here) is that the lab they sent the rolls too had messed up this particular one. If it had been the fault of the camera I'd expect each frame to be black respectively but the coding should be easily readable if developed properly. Given that the entire roll was black this indicates the film has been exposed to light out of the canister prior to development and the lab is likely at fault. I was just told by staff it's probably my cameras fault and that was that. Wasn't offered any other sort of compensation.... Wouldnt come back for film related items, there are other local labs that are cheaper with better service.
Jacob Heyerly: Came in 15 minutes to close. I’m new to photography, needed a sensor cleaning, Alex taught me how to do it. Great service, very nice even near closing, knowledgeable staff, quick, and came out with something learned. 10/10
Javier Rosa: Love this location!! Great staff, service and gear!
Chris Ferry: Great local store for your photography and videography needs! The staff is excellent and they transferred a product from a different store to my local location for pickup. They sell both new and used gear and have a good selection of products that you really want to see and handle before buying. For example, holding and trying on a backpack is a better experience than trying to gauge from just measurements and photos.Overall, I highly recommend this shop for any photography needs your might have!
Long Tran: First time develop my film, the staff very friendly and answers all my questions
maxwell: great shop with really helpful employees and great prices! i brought film in to be developed and one of the rolls came back blank. they gave me a refund for it! the others places i’ve gotten film developed at havent done that so it was unexpected but really appreciated! i will definitely be getting my film developed here from now on. only took a week to get my scans back too!
Ethan Valery: Great customer service, saw to all my needs and helped me with a issue with my lens great selection of both used and new lens
J.S. Kullar (kullarclicks): Professional service for me, asked for a filter on two occasions. They always keep the order ready on time, prices could be a bit higher than Amazon.
Fiona Brown: I had the best experience with everyone at Hunt’s. They looked at my camera and tried to fix it for me. When they couldn’t find an immediate solution they gave me multiple options on what my next steps could be. I am currently working on my capstone and I needed a camera ASAP. They were able to order me a camera that is better than my current one for a cheaper price than what I paid for my previous camera. I went to pick it up after a few days once it came in and it was amazing quality. They are the kindest people I have ever met and made the stressful task of getting a new camera simple and pleasurable. They went above and beyond. I am extremely impressed by and thankful for them. They now have another loyal customer, I will be going back to them anytime I need anything else.
Nicole: The staff at Hunt’s was exceptionally professional and patient with me as I struggled to download printable copies of photos to print. In addition, upon picking up my prints, I realized that I mistakenly sent the wrong photo. Alex quickly responded very graciously and had my new prints ready within an hour. The service is above and beyond, and the prints are of high quality. I will continue to use Hunt’s for all my printing and camera meds.
Caleb Peck: Went in to pick up some photo paper for a critique I had in the afternoon. David and Alex were both exquisite and helped me find exactly what I needed. Excellent store!
Marie Froemmrich: Adaptation to previous review about lighting and resolution of passport photos. I specifically decided to get my photos taken here because I‘m a relatively regular customer and have always been very happy with their services, products, recommendations and especially friendly and efficient customer service- so was very confident that i would get good quality photos here. Initially I wasn’t very happy with the resolution of the photos and lighting and left a review here. A day later I received a call from them apologizing, offering a refund and outlining changes that were made to the setup.I really appreciated the follow up from them and that they immediately worked on improving the service. Would go back to get photos taken there and reliably always my go to for all things camera related in Boston.
Anna Macdonald: Lost my film - not sure how film gets lost at a business which deals exclusively with film but I still haven't gotten my film back.
ozcan demirdag: this place is absolute GARBAGE. DO NOT GO. they will make it their mission to loose your film. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. waste of money. the staff is incredibly rude, have no knowledge on anything, and will make it their mission to sabotage your film. THEY LOOSE FILM CONSTANTLY.
Ilayda Demirdag: DO NOT GO. DO NOT SEND YOU FILM. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING. they will loose your film. staff is so incredibly rude. will purposefully sabotage your film. seriously needs to be shut down.
samuel diaz: Tienda de cámaras fotográficas y acesorios. Muy amablemente los empleados.
Brian Coiro: Great customer service at the end of the day. Highly recommend hunts over all for not only that but their expertise
Meraj Ramezani: Great service!
Qwik Labs: Horrible. They would charge you 6 to 10 times higher than the initial price they told you. They also try to fool you. Two pictures (half size than A4 paper )( just print) (they are identical) were charged two times of 30 dollars ( They tried to fool you and said they are different to charge you higher price to ripe you off. They charged you service fee although you are not taking pictures there( just printing). Horrible experience!
Muhieddine Labban: The worst passport photo I have ever gotten! They have no light set up and terrible resolution. Your photo will have shadows, and the colors will be pale. Do not go there! Use your iPhone instead and save your money. Also, it did not fit the requirements. The digital picture they sent us was also a scanned image of the poorly printed photos

Bethany & Dan Cox: The site of the last big party I went to before March 2020!We are wedding photographers, and had the delight of photographing our last wedding of the 2019 season here. Little did we know it would be the last big wedding we would photograph for a year! I took the experience for granted, but as the pandemic took over the world, I reminisced about this party and what it represented. I would remember being surrounded by people in the cocktail hour space. I remembered whirling through the dance floor with the huge spinning disco ball overhead. I remembered all the cool misfits outside smoking in the chilly autumn air. It was fun to remember this space and this wedding.I think we are coming back again this year and it's going to be a powerful experience personally, to enjoy being back at it, doing our thing, surrounded by happy people at a wedding, in the same venue, now that the world has some normalcy back.
Steven Guayaquil: Venue is super cool!
Alex Saxplayer (LiveSaX): Nice place 🎷🎶
Claudia Macchiavello: Nice place to have events... the idea behind the whole place is super cool and should be supported!
Kate Wilson: We had our wedding last month at Artists for Humanity EpiCenter, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, unique, and modern venue for their event or wedding. We love the mission behind the organization, and that only added to the experience. We utilized both rooms during our reception, and it made the event feel grand. The outdoor patio was a great feature, too. On the day of the wedding, staff made us feel very relaxed and comfortable, and all of our guests loved the space.
Abigail Adams: This space is beautiful for use as a venue, but also just a magical treasure trove of overflowing creativity. Simply walking through the levels (some dedicated to creating and others to displaying) made me want to spend more time making art and appreciating the beauty of the surrounding world.
Alvester Garnett: A hip performance space with a great staff.
Faith Foley: Great venue for live music!
Phyllis Goodman: Great, comfy venue. Helpful staff.
Frances Lewis: Viewed great artwork done by teens
Sam Ribnick: Beautiful venue for a wedding
Laura Yavanian: Special Thanks to the Artists For Humanity Team as I attended my cousin's wedding on August 8th, and it was an amazing wedding enjoyed by family and friends!
Matthew Wininger: Great people. A hidden gem for finding underground artists and an amazing event space.
Nathalie P: The people and the program is absolutely Fantastic and so is the building space!!
John Camuso: The Artists for Humanity EpiCenter played host to what ended up being a dream wedding for my wife and I. Looking at venues in Boston for 250 people was a bit disheartening until Artists for Humanity was recommended to us. We knew we didn't want a hotel ballroom wedding and AFH offered us the perfect canvas. The space itself is beautiful, I'm sure you could spend thousands of dollars brining in lighting and flowers but it's entirely unnecessary. The rotating art installations are all incredible and we loved the cafe lighting that AFH offered. For our wedding we worked with Kristina and she was excellent. AFH has an exclusive catering agreement with Gourmet Catering which may sound limiting, but in the end I think was a blessing. It's clear that AFH and Gourmet have their events down to a science and Kristina worked extremely effectively with the Gourmet team. Kristina and AFH also went above and beyond, providing us with easels to use during the setup and additional supplies (tables, etc...) that we would have otherwise needed to purchase ourselves. Overall we got everything we wanted and more from AFH as a venue and Kristina as a coordinator.
Whiting Photography: I love photographing weddings at Artists for Humanity. Not only is it a funky and unique space, the staff there are all so helpful and fun. They provide paid employment in art for Boston area teens, and the artwork is all over the walls in the gallery. They even have live painting during the reception and guests can each add a little bit to the painting throughout the evening. It’s truly one of my favorite spaces for a wedding in Boston.
Jahnae Wyatt: Interview in 3 days babyy!✨
Cathy Haddad: Fabulous Venue - My company, dunnhumby INC, held their annual Strategy Meeting here in mid June for 120 people. The staff were wonderful and accommodating. AFH 's exclusive caterer, Gourmet Caterers, provided fabulous food for breakfast and lunch and were extremely professional. If you need a cool and innovative venue in the Boston area, please check them out.
Andy O: Really an awesome program and great staff. I participated way back in 1996 and visit as much as I can. The Epic Center is a tremendous event space. This program has flourished, we need more places like this all over cause everybody loves art and is an artist in their own unique way.
Lynn Julian: THE SPACE: This is a "Green" Space in South Boston. It features sky high ceilings, making it feel much larger,Huge walls are blank canvases for social media screens or art displays.THE EVENTS: Perfect for parties, this epicenterlets live entertainment interact with wall size art displays, all while offering bar service and passed food for guests. The entrance is HUGE. You can drive your car inside.TIP: Drop by their locally famous "Greatest Party On Earth!"This annual bash honors Earth Day, but the date varies.
Kristy Thibodeau: I've been the to Artists for Humanity Center for several charity events. The modern building is conveniently located in South Boston (my home base). It's a large 2 floor open space with updated art ranging from paintings to sculptures to using everyday items, such as car windows and strategically placing them as guard rails for the lofted second floor. The events I've been too have been catered with plenty of room for many vendors and floor space for dancing if necessary, which in my opinion is always necessary. I could envision this space being used also as a unique and beautiful reception venue.

Lauren Henkin: I have worked with many branding/design/web firms and I can’t recall an experience that was more rewarding than this one. Opus is extremely professional, talented, supportive and good at what they do. I can’t recommend them enough.
Nancy Kerbs: Our experience working with Opus Design has been fabulous! We were just launching the company in late 2018; Opus designed and built our website, significantly improved our logo and helped us develop a strong brand identity. It is all working very well for us. They are proactive, responsive and great to work with you. We have since used them for designing other marketing materials, and will continue to!
Nicholas Chen: I discovered Opus through searching Google and reached out to them to help design a logo for my new company. They were very professional and the process was smooth. They invited me into their office where we discussed my company and discussed themes we wanted to convey, goals, objectives, etc. From there we set up a schedule, for sketches and follow ups. They have lots of creative ideas and were able to give me a beautiful logo and style guide that have really helped establish our brand! Since then I've gone back to Opus for other projects and will continue in the future!

Sarai Berrios: Im a Artist and Sowa is my second home at heart. 🖼️ 🎨
Courtney DAvanzo: Lots of great artists
Denise Corrin: Amazing artists & wonderful vendor food places!
Mariana Paz: Amazing art area
Boris Kievsky: Very cool block with dozens of studios and galleries of all kinds. Go on a Sunday - most of the galleries and studios are closed on Saturday.
Anna Cvetko: Great opportunity to see a variety of art and artists
qlv assoc: A tourist attraction on Harrison Ave between E Berkeley St and Randolph St. Sweet food booths, boutique kiosks, handicraft souvenir tables, studios displayed artist works, restaurants and many more lined up along the alley. At the end of the alley is the food court, bakery, and farmer market with local produces. On Sunday morning the place is packed with people.
Michele Mercuri: If you like art, this is a very nice and interesting place to visit. Many true, active, art studios often open to visitors. Try it out. We discovered some truly innovative minds.
Katherine McCormack: Best place to find art in the city
Katie McKay: Love visiting SoWa Arts District for the artists galleries and Sunday Arts & Farmers markets. Beautiful location with lots of little shops and independent galleries to explore.
Jingle Huang: SoWa First Fridays are a good way to visit the artist studios and a good way to chat with the artists, view and buy art.
Ella Xu: We visited here after most shops had closed (5pm), and luckily some were still open! They have many small businesses which custom make their products which is fantastic, but they were not within my budget. And they have countless art studios where artists display their works and you can view them through the window. The downstairs displays were all open, and we could view the contemporary pieces from up close. The ladies were very nice and the pieces were interesting to view.
Elif Asar: Most of the galleries were open Saturday between 12-4pm. The museums are closed so I wanted to hang-out in this art district. The galleries have awesome artists and their collections. The gallery owners are very polite and they need more people traffic especially in these covid days...
Mark LaFond: The winter festival was awesome
Winnie Hsu: My friend and I were planning to go to sowa open market but we didn’t know it was not opened in November. So it was actually an accident that we found Sowa art design district and I was totally blown away by it! I love how they organization the building and all the studios. I got to see so many amazing artworks in very different forms!
Edward Barron: Lot of nice galleries but becoming very commercial.
eddie hornedo: It's nice to see people still involve in the arts . I enjoy the unique things people created.
doug g: Open studios and a chance to meet the artists. What a lovely way to spend a few hours
Stephen Silver: Great artists studios, galleries and shops

Vi Nguyen: Major thank you to Hana, Madison, and Ariel for helping me have the best shopping experience! They all helped me get what I need for my assignment. Keep it up awesome team :) Thank you thank you thank you!
Isaac Reyes: Thank you Blick Art Materials for making my time while shopping a pleasant one. I came into the store with a list of items needed for my architecture class and little to no knowledge where to even begin.I want to give a special thank you to Hana for coming to my aid. First of all, she took the time to carefully select the appropriate items I needed and gave me recommendations on what she thought was best for me. Not only that, she answered all my questions adequately and made sure I understood what I was getting. Additionally, she even took the time out of her day to write me a list of the few items that weren’t available in the store and signed me up for a student account to which I will receive the student discount, which I was formerly not aware off.All in all, my time at Blick’s was a successful one and if I ever need to come back for anything arts related again, I will definitely be back. And to any customer in need of anything which Blicks might provide, make your way to this specific location and you might even be lucky to get Hana to assist you while you’re there.
stacey bunyar: All your art supplies and a very happy and helpful staff
刘Berlin: I'll be coming back here to buy again!
Amal Bajonaid: The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Draken DuBose: christina did literally the best mat and framing job and i love what came out so much, my frog is so cute in the frame😊😊😊 would recommend her easy
Dr Jason Rentfrow: I've been to Blick several times to get pictures framed, and I've been thoroughly pleased every time. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Sarah Black: Black has a wide selection of art, craft, and framing materials. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
Grace Park: Brad helped plan/execute a custom print and framing order. It turned out beautifully. Very professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Highly recommend!
Michael Broderick: We worked with Christina at Blick's Framing Department and we could not be happier. Our pictures were fairly large and they did an amazing job with the finished product. Moreover, Christina was in constant communication regarding progress and super responsive to our questions. When time for pick-up came, she went above and beyond to help us coordinate our pickup, even taking the time to wheel two huge, heavy pictures through a labyrinth of halls and out to our rented van for us! We will certainly be back for all of our framing needs .
Giovanny Alberto Betancur Valencia: excelente
Hailey Manin: So I actually love this place and frequent it quite often. The main staff are all fantastic and quick to offer help but I have noticed on multiple occasions the employees getting yelled at and berated by what I assume is the "manager" if you can even call her that. I'm posting this in hopes that upper management at blick will see the abuse this "manager" has been inflicting on your employees. Please take notice and replace that horrid women before she makes another one of your employees cry.
Jenna Bencivenga: The staff is always great here - its my favorite blick. Javid you were super helpful and kind today! Thanks so much!
Charles Rothbacher: Kind and covid safe service
