Saltie Girl: what do users think?
Sara Abdelaziz: Every time I visit Boston, I have to eat there. People are friendly, the service is great, the food is to die for.
Mikey Schaubroeck: Oysters were great. Fried clams were life changing!
Vi Mouzon: Truly enjoyed my fish and chips. Very fresh and fried well.

Minh Anh Bui: Visited this place twice. I’ll have to say that it’s an expensive restaurant but the food is really nice, especially the lobster roll (very buttery and seafood-y). We enjoyed the meal, but again, it was expensive. I would recommend this place if you want to hang out once in a while not every day….Recommended dishes Lobster Roll, Seafood …More

Daniel-Eric Wirtz: Unfortunatly our evening at Saltie Girl Boston was horrible. We had a reservation and were send downstairs. We stood there and no one cared for us. We had to ask a waiter were we should sit. He went to the hostess which then arrived and only then were we seated. Then we ordered oysters as Appetizer. We wanted two of each. Instead we got less then ordered and pointed that to the waiter out. He then brought us a plate with the missing ones. The problem here was that they weren‘t placed clockwise like in the other oyster restaurants in Boston ( like the little whale or Selected Oysters )so we didn‘t know which oyster we were eating. As we went through this course, they already brought the Entrée which is just not acceptable. The waiter didn‘t seem to understand why we wouldn‘t want our hot meals mixed with our order from the raw bar. He acted like we were screaming at him which we weren‘t. Then, which seemed to be the restaurant manager, came to our table apologized and took the warm dishes away for later but explained, that this were normal here, like Tapas. We are from Europe. No original Tapas restaurant in Spain would mix hot tapas with cold ones. These are always seperated courses. As we had finished our Oysters we got the Entrée which wasn‘t that good. The beef of the burger had no seasoning and no taste at all and the Pasta was over seasoned. When we ordered the check, they had charged us twice the main courses which they then changed after complaining. It gave us the feeling that they wanted to fraud us.Overall our stay at Saltie Girl was an horrible experience which cost us a lot money which wasn‘t it worth.
Veronika Chula: Best lobster roll you could ever have!
Shiva N: The mood here is amazing. The drinks are even better! Recommend the basil cocktail.
A A: Came in as a walk in and given an awful wonky table. Host did not even care to fix it. Waiter never showed up. N one brought water. Place needs improvement in management and organization. Go elsewhere and save your money.Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
Allie: Food was pretty good/decent, atmosphere is awesome and fun. Definitelty make a reservation because the place gets packed. Service is average.
Linda Joy: Bartender unfriendly. Worst cocktail sauce ever.
Robin Way: Loved loved loved the tinned mussels and sardines, and the seared sea scallops were awesome.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
N: Food was good and service inside restaurant too. But the front desk hostess was absolutely awful and needs a lesson in customer service… or a job that doesn’t involve speaking to people. The restaurant mistakenly changed my reservation time without my request and rather than work to accommodate and take accountability on the error the hostess was extremely rude and dismissive. She would speak over me and tell me “move aside” and that whatever time in her system is when the table will be ready, regardless of whatever email/text proof I had on my end.Bad attitude but the rest of the staff made up for it. Good job to the managers for rectifying.
Matthew Naneville: Came here at 9:30 PM with a party of 5 to get a late night bite. We were told that only the bar was open and they were serving a limited menu until 9:45 PM. When we went to the bar area, we noticed there was a booth large enough to accommodate us; however, when we went to sit down, we were told the table was reserved, which given the fact that it was 30 mins before close was hard to believe. We ended up leaving and not eating there, but spent close to 15-20 minutes outside of the restaurant trying to figure out where else to go, during which time no big parties went into the restaurant, which really made it seem like they were lying, being lazy, or probably both. Their late night menu was also limited to seafood cocktail type food, so don’t expect to find their famed lobster roll if you go there after 9 PM. We were very disappointed as this restaurant was on our list of places to eat at while visiting Boston, and this was by far the worst experience we had at any restaurant or place during our entire visit. Their lobster roll may be one of the best, but their laziness and shady behavior left a permanent sour taste in our mouths.
Rob Wienert: No expectations walking in. Walked out having enjoyed Fried Lobster and Waffle. Fantastic!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Fried Lobster & Waffles …More
A Stenft: Hate to leave a negative review but this is far from friendly and from from accommodating. Not only did they push our reservation back 45 minutes, they were extremely aggressive towards allowing one additional guest at the table. They had asked the person to leave and were not willing to add a chair when the restaurant was filled with open seats. They clearly aren't out to make sure diners have the best experience possible.
Allen C: Good food, nice place to get together with friendsFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Kylie Odparlik: This place was delicious! All the food we had was great. We had a sample of all of their oysters, burger, and lobster roll with salt and vinegar chips. I love being able to try different oysters and tasting the difference in flavor profiles. Also, the lobster roll was perfect served warm with butter on a toasted roll. The prices are a bit high but worth it.

Stella Lee: Very nice restaurant! Our second time we dined here- and they did not disappoint. Food & service were excellent! I appreciate how they split an appetizer/dish for you to share with another. My only complaint is that the tables are pretty close to each other and you can hear conversations from others.
Eleighna Tate: My husband and I came here on our first year wedding anniversary and were very happy with our entire experience. From our greeting by the hostess, all the way through to the end with "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate on our dessert plates. The atmosphere was lovely. The food tasted incredible. We would definitely return.
Alex Zav: This place is good but not shocking. I assume the initial idea was great, but everything spoils careless and cold American service. The stuff was not trained enough to serve in an upscale restaurant. Douglas Arevalo: Reserve a table! This restaurant has a nice, dim, and posh ambiance. The service was great and the staff very friendly. The food was also very delicious. Portions were just right. High-end but you definitely taste the quality. I recommend the truffle Mac and Cheese, light, pasta had great texture, very well balanced ingredients, not over the top cheesey.
Tim Zhang: Overall a great experience.Ordered French Onion Soup and Escargot as appetizers, wine braised short rib as entree. The soup was flavorful and the pastry was hot and puffy with a hint of crispness on the surface. It is one of the best I’ve had in the city. The Escargot was a little bit bland for my taste but nothing wrong with it otherwise. The braised short rib was absolutely wonderful. The meat was cooked to perfection with just correct texture and firmness to pair with rich and fruity Bordelaise. That being said though, I still question the very existence of those two random onion rings that do not contribute much to the dish. Not at all a deal breaker though.Would be happy to visit again for other dishes.

Cindy Pury: I am currently sitting inside the Hynes Convention Center in Boston. I was part of a large crowd of hundreds of people who needed to evacuate the building due to a false alarm. As we were evacuating, and before it was clear that it was a false alarm, employees at the Hynes Center location prevented us from going out the easiest exit to access from where we were, going through their side door and out onto the street, and instead made all of us walk over a city block and down another flight of stairs in order to get to an accessible exit. Exit. This seems very much like a reckless to disregard for human life, and should this have been an actual emergency, I expect that you would have been sued by survivors. Do better.
Olivier David: Cuisine typiquement américaine. Super service !
Matthieu Giraud: We were 4, the Oysters, the Sushi-Grade Sesame Seared Tuna with Gingered rice, the bone-in-Kona were fantastic. We took a bottle of Jordan 2018, good pairing with the meat. The place is pleasant and not noisy.I will come back to this best in town steakhouse!
Connie Wocell: Came in from out of town for a birthday celebration, got dressed up and right from the teenagers seating us in the daycare room disappointed, we asked to be moved and the dining room was noisy , and no dress code at all . Food was good but atmosphere terrible and felt rushed . No Dress Code enforced at all.
Connie Toomey: Malik and Abel were fabulous. Great to see Abel as he was our favorite waiter at a previous restaurant many years ago! Also 2nd time Malik has waited on us. Utmost professional! We will be back and requesting our favorite waiters!
Eduart Lela: My wife and I are regulars here and we have always enjoyed the food and ambiance at capital grille Boston . Most importantly the service by Zack has always been excellent. We are sad to see him go and wish him good luck. We have been back twice since however and service was ok until yesterday when we met Grace. She is terrific also and very professional. Megs R: I made reservations at the Capital Grille for my husband's 50th birthday. He wanted a great steak dinner and this exceeded our expectation. He started with the oysters. His porcine rubbed ribeye was cooked perfectly and he paired it with the Spinach. I had the Seabass and the sauce made it melt in your mouth. The pear and gorgonzola salad was also delicious. Molly and Jeff were our servers and their service alone made our meal so special. They were friendly and attentive. They recognized my husband's birthday with a card and glitter on the table and a fun dessert plate. We splurged and had a piece of coconut cream pie too which was so good. From drinks to dessert everything was perfect. Bring your appetite!
Tom Williams: Great food, great service, convenient location

Twitchy: Good place for late night food in downtown Boston. Arriving on a late flight into Boston, there's not a lot of full service restaurant options in the downtown area after 9 pm. At Bostonia Public House we had the hot lobster roll, pasta vongole and fish & chips. The food and service were very good. As an fyi, it does get pretty noisy once the live entertainment starts.

Tasting Counter: what do users think?
Neil: I love this place, it’s easily one of the best dining experiences Ive ever had. One of my favorite things about the restaurant is that they can cater to all dietary restrictions. My sister had a full vegetarian tasting menu here. This is my 2nd dinner at Tasting Counter and it’s another 10/10. The dishes and wines are so well thought out. The desserts will change your life. I can’t wait to go back
Michael Edmunds: Amazing dining experience at a counter style chef's table. The wine pairing was very interesting too.Vegetarian options: One of our party was vegetarian. The menu was superbly matched with the other diners. The best high end vegetarian tasting menu she'd ever had.
fred: Food is excellent, Time restriction is BS
Emily Noury: One of the most amazing experiences! The food was absolutely incredible. As a vegetarian I was blown away by the food. They are very accommodating to dietary needs.
Steve Tisa: When we booked this experience, we honestly didn’t know what to expect…but the dinner far exceeded any expectations we had. The food was incredible. We went with the sake pairing and loved every pairing. On top of that, the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. It was a once in a lifetime experience we won’t forget.
James Robertson: Had the lunch menu. Delicious and as there are 3 courses with 3 palette cleansers it's very good value for money. Would highly recommend. Great staff too.
Wayne Dang: Take a cab or Uber. Parking is sooo hard to find.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Kate Petersen: We did the sake and non-alcoholic pairing and shared them. Highly recommend! The drinks were well paired and brought out different flavors so each course had multiple flavor profiles for us. The ingredients were prepared and used thoughtfully with respect and creativity. Service was wonderful and presentation was detail orientated.
Ben Kahan: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Dine in: YesMore
Tim Woodward: Very good tasting experience that did not disappoint. If I had to nitpick, it was not the most imaginative or creative menu compared to similar chef's counter experiences at that price point. However, they use high-quality, gourmet ingredients and execute them into great flavors in all of the dishes. The service experience was top-notch as well.

Lisa D: A once in a lifetime experience…splurge and treat yourselfThis restaurant would be at least one Michelin star (my bet is two) if the guide ever came to Boston.A beautiful evening of fresh local ingredients and special indulgences from around the world …stunningly presented and curated.A perfect way to spend our anniversary
Christophe CHARPENTIER: I was so much looking forward to the experience that friends recommended, and ended up with mixed feelings. The food was extremely good, very delicate, very creative. So on that front the experience we were expecting. We took the option of pairing with Sake, and it was devine. So, why score a 3 stars then? Well for non food related topics.#1 - the pace of the dinner is too high. There's no down time whatsoever. I get it, you got to get through 9 courses, but Chef, add 30 minutes, so that we, guest, can pace ourselves.#2 - this high end restaurant ($325 per person), and there's a thin, very thin, wall separating from a vast hall that is more like a German beer garden, with it's lively (and very loud) crowd. And inside the high end restaurant, you cannot not hear this partying crowd. We were there on a Saturday night, maybe it's quieter on a week day, but it really affected our experience.I hope the owner will decide to relocate, so that the experience would be undistracted from it's surroundings
Kathleen Lorina: Tasting lunch menu was inventive , delicious and beautifully presentedWheelchair accessibility: We had a member if our party using a wheelchair and it was easily accessibleDietary restrictions: A member of our party has celiac and they accommodated the restriction easily
Ryan: It lives up to everything and more. The menu and drink pairings go together like a choreographed dance. The presentation and ambiance is fun and unique. The food is amazing…breathtaking with the combinations, the flavors, the contrast it’s all well worth the money .
Jatnna Medina: The place looked amazing when we went last year the food was amazing. However, if you’re like me and not too familiar with the wines BE AWARE they know who to serve the food wine to and the cheap $20-$30 wine is what we were served. Everyone else got to taste the good wine. Thank god I recorded what wine we were served. Be aware bar tenders know their audience and if you look as if you’ve never tasting wine they will cheap you out of the experience. * I have video proof as well. The video wasn’t taken for evidence but more for the experience. Little did I know once I looked up the wine that night was not worth almost $750

We enjoyed every morsel and sipped our cocktails to the last drop.We had the Long Island duck breast, and it was the best duck we've had in town. Also, note that the portions are super generous - a nice surprise, given how good it was! I tried their flirty lychee fiz, and it was as fun as it sounds. Alex Maiella: Celebrated our 4 year anniversary at Deuxave and had one of the most wonderful dining experiences thanks in large part to our fantastic waiter, Wesley.Wesley was not only funny, and attentive but also extremely knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. His experience in the industry was incredibly apparent as he told us the history of the dishes we very much enjoyed and where each ingredient originated. As for the food, between the Lobster, Duck, and Tuna, there is no way that we could decide on our favorite. Similarly to our appetizers and entree choices, we took Wesley’s drink suggestion for our choice of wine with dinner, and then port to go with the fresh and creamy crème brûlée. We cannot believe that this restaurant does not have a several week waitlist. I am grateful to have found Deuxave though because we will definitely be returning with friends and family on Thursday or Friday to dine with Wesley again.

Kenneth Lutchen: Arrived from Boston University with a faculty candidate with a party of 6 for a 6PM reservation and was seated immediately. Most of rest of restaurant was empty. Asked if we wanted bread which we did, and they gave each guest 2 slices on a plate and we later found out there was a $3 per person for this. Took our dinner orders by 6:20 or so. Main dishes did not come out until....are you ready......8:20. One of our party had to leave before his main dish arrived. We kept asking when the main meals would arrived and got same answer each time...."a few minutes". This was a staple restaurant for me as a Dean at BU to take guests to, even throughout the pandemic. Now we will likely not return as there are so many other choices.

Toro: what do users think?
Ida Li: Heard about this restaurant from a friend! Great place for having conversations over a light meal and some drinks.Food overall was delicious. Portion size are small particularly because it's a Spanish tapa style meant to be shared amongst the table.Atmosphere was beautiful. I highly recommend getting a seat outdoors for the summer. It's much roomier and comfortable. You can definitely also go in the winter but it'll be really cold! It's a bit on the pricier side but it's a nice treat.
Owen Tredennick: Asado de Huesos was one of the best things I have ever tasted. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, so mix it up!Will be back again and again…and again.
Caitlin McPheron: Authentic Spanish tapas style restaurant. They offer Iberian ham, manchego cheese, bocadillos among other Spanish staples. Great Spanish wine selection as well. We ordered asado de huesos, jamón ibérico, queso de cabra, and maíz asado for two people and it was plenty. Service was great and atmosphere was cozy. Highly recommend.
Dustin Maneethai: Excellent tapas served fresh. The paella was definitely a star but it's quite filling. For two I would recommend the paella and perhaps 3 tapas dishes. The service was excellent. Cristian Suarez: Because of how good the tapas was, I’m giving it a four star. But considering how low-key trash the drinks were, I’d give it a limp 3 star. Fun atmosphere though.
Chingsung Chang: Tables are a bit small. Food is good, but be prepared to spend a decent amount. Overall I do think it is a bit on the pricier side, but there's enough on the menu that's unique. The paella was a tad disappointing though, especially for a Spanish placeFood: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Patatas Bravas Fried …More
Jing Wu: Worst Manager!!! Waitlist shows around 45 minutes, but We have waited for 90 mins with no calls or messages. When we asked them, they said they had sent the message, which we didn’t receive it. The solution from manager is waiting another 120 minutes. The most ridiculous solution ever heard.
Alejandra Ortiz: We shared 4 plates: mushrooms with the egg, shishito peppers, shrimps, churros and flan. Everything was good and the choice of drinks and cocktails too. Bartenders were very attentive and recommend us good drinks. I highly recommend the place for the ambiance, latin music, drinks and food plus the excellent service!Recommended dishes Gambas Al Ajillo, Churros Chocolate Sauce …More

chad svastisalee: Toro is uniquely located on Washington Street in the South End. One thing to know... fresh tapas are always A-Mazing and sharing with your family and besties make meals memorable. Just eating Spanish food because you know it’s delicious is a treat in itself. Toro is a must place to check out. The best way to tapas is to order a little bit of everything, and if you come across something you don’t love, that’s ok. Toro customized our menus with our son's name and boy was he surprised! Sit in their heated outdoor patio or inside the bustling hot spot and you'll be in good hands either way. Don’t let the crowd or wait for a table ruin the whole experience. The local beer selection is good, paired well with our tapas. We started with batatas bravas, calamari with shishito peppers and a well thought charcuterie board to start. Every pinxtos was delicious. Ostros Escabeche, island creek Oysters we're swimming in flavor and although we thought the Empanadas were a bit over fried, they were still tasty inside. We shared two rounds of Risotto de Longostos, it was devine and our boys favorite. The attention to detail to seasoning, plating and staff are on point at Toro.

Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse: what do users think?
Haley Peloquin: My friend had a reservation for his birthday at 8:15pm Saturday evening. We arrived right on time and were told it'd be 15-20 min wait which was totally fine because we were still waiting for one person in our party plus were all industry folk so we try to understand where we can. Almost an hour passes and my friend goes to check in on our table since nothing had been communicated further to us. After a manager explains they over booked themselves for the night, we finally get seated almost an hour and 15 minutes later with not one single apology. We ignore it, sit down, and our server comes over and seems frazzled so we give her some time to get situated. We put our orders in eventually and the food runner not only brings the wrong soup to someone at our table, but when she brings the correct soup over (my friend was just going to eat the incorrect soup because it wasn't worth complaining about plus it was good so who cares!) she physically took the incorrect lobster bisque away while his spoon was still dripping in soup getting all over the table then she put the correct tomato soup down and walked away. Not replacing the spoon, not apologizing, and we were mostly confused as to why his lobster bisque was confiscated from the table since it was half eaten and not like they could resell it. There were 6 of us at the table and I believe 5 of us ordered steaks which were all undercooked. Again, we didn't complain because at this point we just wanted to leave and we thought it was rather obvious we had been through the ringer even just after waiting over an hour for our RESERVED table. Oh we got that FULL $800+ tab with no comps, no apologies, nothing. Again, we're all service industry workers so we try to give the benefit of the doubt, but it was a hard dinner for us all to sit through!Bright sides of the dinner: the server was extremely nice and had a full section so we completely understand her being frazzled. We didn't finish dinner until 11pm (when they close) and she still offered dessert and by no means rushed us out. We didn't get her name, but did want to thank her for that we were just frustrated Saturday evening after spending good money with not the quality we were hoping for.

Juan Carlos P: A beautiful restaurant and the food , service and cocktails Never disappoints. If you are walking by is worth checking this place out. I still remember when they open and it seems they can stand any storm thanks to the consistent effort to make great food. Kitchen stuff rocks 👏🏼🙌🏼
Charles Law: I would eat again at this restaurant, and that says a lot.The "55 Day Prime Aged Strip Steak" was one of the best steaks I have had. The two sauces recommended just covered up the flavor of the steak, so I do not recommend them. A truffle risotto side was also very good. The truffle was a major flavor. The waiter service was also very good.Unfortunately, the Ceasar salad and the "Penne, Applewood Smoked Chicken, Sundried Tomatoes, Walnuts, Cream" did not meet my expectations. The chicken had a pasty texture like it was marinated too long. The desserts were just average. The mango cheesecake was too sour with citric acid. The sour did not blend with the cheesecake well. The pistachio creme brulee was overly sweet. The custard should be less sweet to contrast the "burnt" sugar on the top.Parking: Self parking is available in garages and will cost you $25-$33. I also believe valet service is available.

Mercerdes García Belmonte: Excelente!!! La comida muy rica y la atención muy buena. El lugar perfecto.
Jim Haynie: The location is convenient to the Back Bay. The menu is pretty good selection. The popovers were burnt. The scallops were okay, but no risortto or peapods. The rice had no flavor. The salad was bland. The desserts were simple and dull. There was no gluten-free dessert option other than berries. Their version of bailey's had gluten. I would pick another place to go eat. The cost is not cheap.
Joseph Meyer: Entirely not worth the price, period. What an underwhelming meal. But I am a chef, so my standards may be higher. My meal was the basic of the basic, spaghetti and meatballs, if you can’t get this right, how can I trust you with any more?
Hannah Bradley: My boyfriend and I went in for dinner and it was one of the best restaurant experiences of my life! The staff was super friendly and attentive and the food was delicious! Will definitely be coming back soon!

Neptune Oyster: what do users think?
Alex Lundwall: One of the best meals I’ve ever had. I seriously can’t believe I spent $11 on a piece of and I want to eat the loaf and I don’t even care for bread. The pemiquid mussels are unbelievable. I’ve spent many vacations at pemiquid and the taste just sent me back there like the scene in ratatouille.
St.PeteNative: This was recommended by a local concierge. We really loved this place as it placed us in what felt like essential Boston. Historic neighborhood ✅ Thick accents ✅ Great hot lobster roll at a pricy $38 each. But hey you will pay that about anywhere in the city might as well enjoy the packed Boston atmosphere of this charming restaurant.PS Try the Johnnycake appetizer for one of the most unique seafood dishes you will ever have.
Han Jiang: Only order shells.

Tony Huynh: The food at Neptune Oyster is overhyped and expensive. We wait around 1 hr and a half to get inside. The space is small and crowded with barely any moving space. We got an oyster tray, clam chowder, butter lobster roll, razor clam and Johnny's Cake. The oysters were good but it wasn't that sweet, and it cost around $3-4 per oyster. The Clam chowder is the most watery chowder I ever had, there were clams but not many and you have to really fish for it. The lobster roll is decent with juicy lobster however there wasn't much flavor in the lobster roll. The razor clams were overcooked and chewy, and the flavor wasn't that good either. Finally the Johnny's Cake, we also added lobster to it, it wasn't bad but it's just standard, nothing special about the cake. The total cost was around $180. Overall I wouldn't go back again, the food wasn't worth it for the long wait time and the high prices.
Micheal Abboud: Delicious delicious!! Best restaurant in Boston if you are a seafood loverEverything is excellent, specially the tuna tartare is unbelievableHighly recommendFood: excellentPortion: greatCustomer service: excellent.Ambiance: casual and relaxed.Prices: fair.Cleanliness: Adequate.
Gajan Sivapathasundaram: I’d also recommend this place for LobsterRoll ! Excellent food!I’d suggest getting there early to get a seat, especially if you’re in groups as the waiting time can vary between 15-30mins.
Richard W: To tourists: out of all the sit-down meals I’ve had in Boston, this is the only one I chose to return to within the same trip. Just skip the clam chowder. The wait time can be long, up to an hour during peak times, but it’s worth it. While standing in line, you can watch someone shucking oysters in full view—live entertainment. These are the movements of someone with many many years of experience.Service is extremely warm and friendly. The wide selection of oysters did not feel overwhelming because the waitress narrowed it down for newly seated patrons.Even though I’m not a fan of raw oysters, I enjoyed these due to the especially bright mignonette. The johnnycake was warm, soft, comforting, sweet but not too sweet, topped with smoked fish that sounds like an odd pairing but works. I’ve never had anything like this before. It makes me want to come back and try other interesting things on the menu, perhaps in a future visit.Edit: on my second visit, I had the clam chowder and octopus. Octopus was extremely tender, well-charred along with the vegetables, and bursting with flavor from the romesco. The clam chowder was okay; I felt I had to order it because Boston, but there are so many better things on the menu.
Haein H: We stood in line on a chilly Saturday evening for over an hour. We got sat at the bar and were presented with a menu that describes where the oysters are from and what flavours you can expect from each one. The oysters themselves were really fresh and one of the best I’ve ever had, but it was still really overpriced and I didn’t like how we couldn’t make reservations in advance.
Brennan Rosales: The weather was perfect so waiting in line was no problem. The oysters were fresh and delicious. The hot Lobster Rolls were pretty much perfect. Friendly service great wine selection. Very cozy seating. We were a party of 3 sharing a 6 top with another party of 3 but it was fine. Definitely an experience and worth the wait!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Christina Huang: Great spot for lobster rolls and other seafood dishes. A variety selection of oysters!
Saud: I waited for two hours, and they kept skipping me since I was dining alone. At the end, I was surprised by how bad the lobster roll was.Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
Caitlin McPheron: Super cool spot with amazing oysters. Clam chowder was phenomenal as well. We went on a Wednesday afternoon and there was a small 5-10 minute wait. Highly recommend!
Justine Collins: This place is unbelievable - and worth the long wait! We got here 45 minutes before they opened, and we were the first ones in line, but everyone else shortly followed - so make sure you get there early if you don't want to wait at LEAST an hour for a table. This restaurant's food may be one the very few times for me where when tasting the food, it was an EXPERIENCE. The Johnnycake was out of this world - I have never in my life tasted anything like it and it's so hard to compare, but it was mouthwatering. We also had the oyster piggybacks and crostini which were incredible. Oysters were so fresh. We also ordered the lobster roll which came last, and honestly - the preceding food was so magnificent that it made the lobster roll taste like any other lobster roll. My recommendation is to come here for their appetizers first, oysters second, and if you're still hungry (which I doubt), then get a lobster roll. They will fit every person at every seat available. The restaurant is small so it does feel a bit crammed, but it's very well managed and efficient nonetheless. Overall, 10/10 dining experience!
Brian Wong: Best lobster roll in Boston. They pack a full 8oz of lobster in the roll. The cold mayo is the way to go.
Nicholas Cooper: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Maine Lobster & Sea Greens, Shrimp & Grits, Crab ClawsMore
Ronald Cheung: Another must hit place when every time in town. With the taste of hot butter and generous potions of lobster, you don’t wanna miss the hot lobster roll. The other dishes which some folks missed is the fried clams, the clam is big and fresh, and they season it just right and never overcook it(at least my last 10 times visit in last few years)Remember sparing some time for the long waiting line outside the restaurant door, an hour at least if you are lucky.
Erica Reetz: Great service and delicious food! We had oysters, the clam chowder, fish & chips, and the hot lobster roll. Fantastic flavorsFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

SRV: what do users think?
Ross Todd: Mom and Pop shop attention with a James Beard taste. Went for my besties Bday…I would make this my Tuesday night spot if I lived here. Completely seamless from beginning to end. I think every person working touched the table and carried a sense of grace and kindness. Cheddar biscuits that will make you wanna slap yo mama. NA drinks that got me lit. Beet salad with some kinda perfect crunch. Very greatful. Also…the GM. It’s is rude to stare y’all, but damn 🔥🔥🔥🖤🖤🖤Instagram: @holycityhost
Ava French: SRV is an exceptional Italian restaurant that offers an unforgettable dining experience. The restaurant's ambiance is warm and inviting, and the food is simply outstanding. The dishes are beautifully presented, and the flavors are perfectly balanced, making each bite a true delight for your taste buds. What truly sets SRV apart is the exceptional service provided by their staff. From the moment you walk through the door, you are greeted with a warm smile and a friendly welcome. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and the wines, and they go out of their way to ensure that your dining experience is nothing short of perfect. The pasta dishes at SRV are truly exceptional, and they are made fresh in-house every day. They offer a wide variety of pasta dishes, each one more delicious than the last. The wine list at SRV is also outstanding, featuring a wide variety of Italian wines that are perfectly paired with the food.Overall, we highly recommend SRV for anyone looking for an exceptional Italian dining experience in Boston. The food, service, and ambiance are all outstanding, and the restaurant is truly a gem in the city. You won't be disappointed!
Jimmy Goddard: Great space, lovely food, such friendly staff. Loved it!
Marco Ugolotti: Nice place and good service but limited menu. Price is on the average high end. The pasta plates didn’t meet the expectations… flavor was good but the risotto was over cooked ($45) and the other pasta (angel hair) was definitely not the correct kinda of pasta to use and it was also over cooked. Thanks to our server… we got some extra desert. Bottom line …. I came here 10 years ago … and nothing has changed too much. The cucine is not “original” from Venice and the actual Italian alternatives in Boston are now better than SRV.
Gwin Zhou: Great tasting menu! Great variety... tho it makes me feel super full in the end...Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Max P: Food was overall great, and but the tiramisu took the cake (I don’t even usually like tiramisu-but we got it anyway at our friends insistence). They do have a frequently rotating menu which keeps things fresh. The only issue we had was with service- couldn’t help but noticed that we were initially seated in the corner near the toilets with another Asian couple, and the waiters did seem more chummy with the other patrons too. Hopefully it’s just me reading too much into jt, because this would be a great place to come back regularly to.

Cecile Braun-Jones: Beets antipasti was the best thing we got. The grapefruit ricotta salad didn't do it for us, it was lacking in flavor and the textures didn't work. Tried the lobster pasta, we were excited about it but ended up not finishing it. Mostly pasta and nothing else.Tiramisu was Huge and pretty good.Negroni tasted nice, kiwi drink was very sweet.Service was nice but a bit pushy and clearly trying to get us to leave asap (there were at least 6 open tables ) which didn't make us feel welcome. It had been a while since I was there last, it's changed a bit.

Kenzie Langton: Staff were very tentative. Overall all, slightly over rated. Drinks were mediocre. Bite sized foods were literally bite sized. The cappellacci wasn't too flavorful until the orange taste at the end. The strozzapreti was very good.
Carl DiMarzio: Amazing food, great atmosphere, very attentive service. SRV did not disappoint!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Tiramisu …More
Proddy Sukcharoen: Black Garlic Risotto🖤 with spring onions, goat cheese, and vermouth🍸.My first time eating a dish with black garlic🤩! Was very excited upon ordering it. The texture of the risotto was rich, creamy, with hints of balsamic and soft spice. The aroma reminds me of ponzu sauce coated in butter Portion was super generous it fed me for two meals!!Bigné: strawberry, basil, crema pasticcera. Super rich in flavor and aroma. Tastes like a mixture of cream puff and cake.
Mina K: Wanted to come here for a while and finally made it, well worth the wait.Loved the food!Unfortunately ate most of the dishes before taking a photo but everything was really good! The duck cappellacci are delicious, the ambiance is beautiful and I’m so happy I tried this place.
Kevin George: We got the fall tasting menu, which was relatively new for the season, and it was very disappointing. They also like to keep their menu a secret so you don’t know what dish you’ll be getting next. We asked for no pork, but as a result found that 75% of the dishes had cod, which was strange and didn’t really work.
Zac Wolf (Zac Wolf Photography): Loved photographing a wedding here. Incredible staff, space, and food. I can't wait to work with the SRV team again soon!
Emily Andrews: Not enough great things to say about this restaurant. If you are thinking about going, go!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Meatballs …More
S D: Good food and great experience. Thank you Ling!
Margaret Hui: We finally try this place, our favorite dish was pork dish with polenta. We tried two pasta dishes we like the pasta with lobster better than the duck raviolis with lack of sauce & duck flavored. The service was great.
