Cass: I’d give ZERO stars if I were able to…I JUST gave Mr. Seaver a call on the phone number on his website. A man answered the phone and when I asked for Mr. Seaver the man said “yea.. I’m not the lawyer.. you’re like the 20th person who called looking for him” I quickly apologized and explained that I got the number off Mr. Seavers site and I was receiving an incoming call and that I would let Mr. Seaver know of the incorrect number on his site if was in fact him.When I switched over to answer the incoming call, things went down hill even quicker. I was probably better off asking the first random stranger for legal advice honestly.I started explaining to Mr. Seaver why I was calling and he immediately cut me off mid sentence and said he’d call me back, I hesitated but said ok, and then he said “hold on”, and starts yelling directions to someone that sounds very far away. He then returns with a “Hello?” and asks me a question about the reason I’m calling, I begin to answer/explain, he then cuts me off with “I’m going to cut you off right there, I’m going to cut you off at the knees because I don’t handle those cases, you have to call Boston *insert speedy mumble*” then he HANGS UP!THAT was my experience with Kevin Seaver..I’m so shocked because he has SO MANY great reviews on here, but after my experience. I was recommended Nicole by prominent lawyer in the MA area and I believe Attorney Bluefort used my connection as an excuse to price gauge and overcharge me for counsel.Being charged with a crime is traumatizing enough. I hired an attorney in a rush, hoping this would offer me the chance to speak my truth and have this case resolved immediately. Not only did Nicole Blufort tell me that the judge would not care about the circumstances surrounding my case, but she refused to mention very important evidence during the most critical moments.Nicole blufort was unorganized and has bad time management skills which ultimately lead me to accepting a deal that was not in my best interest. I now have to return to court on my own and ask the judge to reopen my case without her.Nicole demanded a retainer of close to $8,000 before my first hearing. Nicole only appeared at two court dates with me. Nicole was extremely late for both appearances, one court date she was over 2 hours late then billed me for that time(almost $1,000). Also for both court dates Nicole waited til the very last minute to request that the court appearances be rescheduled due to her schedule. These were examples of how little respect she had for me as her client, or my personal time.Nicole frequently billed my retainer $400 for 1 hour of reviewing my file. Nicole was fluffing my bill and automatically charging me every few days for file review. Multiple times Nicole spent 5-10 minutes on the phone with me, loading her computer and searching for my file, reviewing it over the phone as we spoke. She was not familiar with most of the information. Nicole billed my retainer while she reviewed the same few pages any time she ‘forgot’ or misplaced them. I also noticed an automatic bill of 1 hour work each time I paid a portion of my retainer.Example: I paid $500 on the 1st of April , by the next morning I would be charged $400 for file review. Nicole clearly did not review my file as often as she billed me for. This was reflected in the lack of information she had about my case each time we spoke, and the fact that we had not technically began court proceedings. There was very little information for her to review.After weeks of stressful back and forth communication, Nicole bluefort refunded me a significant amount of my retainer, she also waived the $900 bill she added for arriving late to court.I would like to say that it is disheartening to feel taken advantage of. I do believe I would have been better off in many ways, if I had not hired Nicole Bluefort as my attorney in 2022.

Robert Greiner: I cannot praise Jacob enough. My spouse had been unsuccessful in trying a path towards getting a visa and green card for 12 years. Almost four years ago, we were referred to Jacob and he reviewed our case and let us know there might be a path through a certain waiver process, but not very hopeful. But he would try. So for four years we have been going through the steps. Jacob has done most of the work, always pleased when we got to the next step. Jacob never raised false hopes. We also appreciated his price structure, which was really based on what was needed at each stage and not a regularly scheduled payment rate. There were stages at which the government made some errors or asked for payment already submitted. This is understandable given the amount of cases our government works with.
