Loyal Companion: what do users think?
K Davis: Check your receipt before you leave! Many items are not priced and if you ask for a price check they will include it in your charge even after confirming they will take it off. They try to rush you out of the store after your purchase, but take your time to review your receipt. Additionally, some items that are actually priced at a dollar over what the price listed on their website is.
Jennifer Ortiz: Thank you for always taking care of my baby's and doing an outstanding job Melina I wouldn't trade YOU FOR THE WORLD!!!! YOUR THE BEST!! I would refer her to everyone but then you will try to steal her from me and I can't let that happen!! Just Kidding lol
Leila Semedo: My favorite spot now 😁People are scared of my dog because she’s big, but not here . The employees treat her so good & their customer service is excellent . Thank you guys ❤️Look how cute and fresh Jocelyn got her looking 😍
Salma Tag: Jocelyn is a wonderful groomer! My dog was so relaxed during his grooming appointment that he fell asleep during his haricut! See you in a couple of months.
Jeff Amazan: I love this place everyone is so polite and helpful, they recommend me to few things i should get my dog. They also do a great job with their daycare center. My dog love this place .
Akou Diabakhate: If could write a book about how this place is AMAZING I would. First of all they always take care of my Belle for all her services she gets there from grooming to spa day and food. My Belle just had a 1 year Birthday parteyyyy and the gift bag that Amari got for my friends dog were the talk of the party. I can’t thank you guys enough for being in this neighborhood and being such a community store who really care about dogs and their owners. Customer service is 10/10 they groomers 10/10 everything. Thank you thank and I will see in couple of weeks for another appointment.
Skittlez P: Great selection of cat items. I do wish they had more options for dry cat food. As someone who is not really a dog person it was nice to meet the new store manager with her baby kitten.
Jennifer Hill: Clean, organized and the staff is lovely. I can tell that they truly love their jobs!
Darnell Spike: Had such a great first experience. The manager and assistant manager (sorry i forgot their names) are so helpful and nice. My puppy has some digestive issues and they gave great advice. I will definitely be coming back.
Carol Pernice: I had heard negative reviews due to a lot of turnover but I wanted to give Loyal Companion a chance. After not getting a call that my puppy evaluation was cancelled to super rude customer service from the manager when I went the second time to get the evaluation, I've decided this is NOT the place for me. I would not recommend this store. I am not someone who typically writes reviews but since this is dealing with our fur babies I thought it was necessary!
Ashley D: Local alternative to Amazon and Chewy. Great rewards program.I prefer to buy my dog's food here versus a larger warehouse. He also loves the food, and doesn't have any issues with it. I can trust the food is safe for him to eat.
Emily Coleman: the doggy day care is way too overcrowded, the dogs are often kept in crates, and that's to say nothing of the smell in the room. It's also a TINY room for doggy day care. It seems to me the people that staff the doggy day care are not well trained in dealing with dogs, as there have been incidents where dogs were bitten. I definitely do not recommend loyal companion for doggy daycare unless you want your dog in a tiny, smelly room where they spend a lot of time in a crate!
Robert Veneziano: Trying to set up dog care here has been a nightmare. I tried last year, with staffing changes the communication was awful - last minute cancellations, rebooking for 2-3 weeks out, phone calls not returned, etc. I tried again, sending them paperwork in on 6/10, asking to confirm receipt. No reply. I called about three weeks later to check in if they received my email (is a simple reply in email too much to ask?), I was told I would get a call back, nothing. I called again on 7/12 to check in. Amari was robotic, and not friendly at all. I asked her if my docs were received, and her reply was they could see me this week for a temperment test. Great, but that's not what I asked. I said I was not ready for that yet, as my schedule this week did not allow, but asked a second and then third time, were my docs received via email and she finally confirmed. Told her I would call back to schedule a temperment test another time when my schedule allowed and she practically hung up on me. There are so many other options in town for daycare with better customer service. Not sure why I kept trying these folks again....and again. I should have given up after the first attempt and took it as s sign! Go elsewhere for a place that only specializes in daycare - my guess is it's way better run and a much larger space for dogs to run around.
Chester Leonard: Courteous and helpful employees a pleasure 😀 doing business
Al K: To all black people beware of he discrimination in this store . They will discriminate for even being there
Katherine Mize: REALLY slow grooms--they kept my (well behaved) dog for over 5 hours last time we took him without the opportunity for a restroom break. Unimpressed with the quality of the groom and unimpressed with the service. I also placed an order online and it turned out that 2/3 of what I ordered was actually out of stock.
Becki Warshow: Expensive and not particularly.good customer service. Quality products though.
Liani Wang: The staff are the best people and animal lovers, ever. My puppy's tail got slammed by the door and started to bleed. The staff immediately came over with cleaning solution and helped stop the bleeding. They were so reassuring to me and my pup. They recommended I call my vet and patiently let me wait in the store while I figured out where to take him. They even recommended a nearby animal hospital to take him. They provided me with all the information and everything I needed to get him the vet care he needed. They are SO kind and compassionate. I am so grateful!
Jessie James: I found out about all their training services and other services available it was very helpful and very insightful. They were recommended by Petco on Washington Street in Boston. Thank you for the recommendation Petco.
Henry Ung: The folks here really know how to take care of us and our doggo
Sam Wagner: The groomers do a great job and the staff is super friendly, but beware - they are super busy! As in will potentially charge you for added services but not actually have time to do them, like teeth brushing.

Mathew Paisner: Whether your dog needs a haircut, nails trimmed, bath or the works, look no further as Kelly is AMAZING and the sweetest person! She has been grooming my dog for over 5 years and I have been to many other groomers in the past so I can assure you she is the best in Boston! Please only bring friendly dogs to Kelly who like to socialize with other dogs as she let's all the dogs have a big play date rather than locking them in crates. Kelly will accommodate special requests and she ensures all the dogs have FUN during their visit!
Rik Gurney: The owner is soooooo competent and friendly plus they do a great job.
Richard Thorp: Called and left messages for appointments for 2 dogs. NEVER received call back. Not good business practices
sheila willard: This was my first visit to Kelly’s . One word: awesome. I think my dog (pug) enjoyed the experience even more than I enjoyed his cleanliness. Thank you Kelly.
Kim Taylor Knight: Kelly is great with our cairn and has a wealth of experience. Tavvy loves going to be groomed!
K. S.: She's the worst I waited weeks for a call back to be rescheduled and told she can't cut my 8 pound dog she said she was scared ...very unprofessional a waist of time if u ask me
Tracey Vickery: LOVE this place! Moved to Boston over a year ago - both of my dogs look fantastic after their appointment...quality job!
Dani Chahine: Was a really good place until the two owners decided to go their on ways. My dog now goes to a different groomer.
Tania Harsono: Kelly is awesome! She had been talking care of my Baby (morkie) for the last 4y after we moved here from nyc and Baby has never looked cuter! She always comes home smelling like cherry almonds and oats, and I'm always excited to see what seasonal bandana Kelly has picked out.
Beverly Azure: Becca does a great job with my poodle, closed mondays
Rebecca Lazaron: Best Boston Dog Grooming Shop
Jessica Scrrra: A friend of mine recommendedKelly’s underground groomingthey did such a great job groomingprice is good and I would recommend this to anyone that asksWhere is there is a good groomer it is small and they limit on how many dogs they take a day so they can around and play
kathy comfort: I so love this place . It's the best in Boston
Nolan Taormino: I could not recommend Kelly's Underground any more than I already do to all the dog owners I meet in the area. Her (and her staffs) expertise, professionalism, flexibility, friendliness, patience, and attention to detail are unmatched, in my personal experience, with any other privately owned business across any industry. Kelly's always puts the client and their dogs first, and their perfectionist approach ensures that each and every dog gets the appropriate attention and that their customers leave happy, every time. From the moment you drop your dog off till the moment you pick them up you can take comfort in knowing your dog is with the best (and having the best time too!).
Stacey Spezzano: Kelly is awesome!!!!!! My goldendoodle looks fabulous and he had a great experience! I would give 10 stars if I could! Thanks again Kelly!!!!
becky idol: While visiting from California, I needed a place for my Beagle, Bode, to enjoy his day while I visited Boston I couldn't have chosen better! I picked up a very happy dog...fantastic place...fantastic people! See you next road trip!
John Hayden: Best groom my golden doodle has ever received. They have notoriously difficult coats and Kelly does a fantastic job! Thanks!!

Red Dog Pet Resort & Spa Boston: what do users think?
Airika Laguerre: Great facility! The grooming Presley was very kind and did an amazing job and was so patient with my senior dog. Thank you so much!
Malikiya Hinds: I just called to make a grooming appointment, and the person on the phone was so rude and didn’t seem interested in answering any of the most basic questions. I was simply calling to find out how to set up an appointment, the cost of a typical groom, etc. Nothing out of the ordinary. There are better ways to talk to people rather than attempting to run them off the phone, throwing them on hold of no warning etc for asking simple questions about a business they’re trying to be a patron that. Please do better.
Lauren Ness: My dog has been coming here since she was 6 months and absolutely loves it. There are a lot of options for boarding with many add-on services you can select such as extra playtime. My dog does come home a little stinky so I would recommend booking a bath the day you are scheduled to pick them up.
Catherine Nead: My mini labradoodle got groomed by Sara and she did a great job. He came back so cute!
Mitch Saso: A+They were polite my dog enjoyed the stay.
Casey Pons: Terrific staff who love dogs, personable and flexible and welcoming every visit.
Mike Rubino: Best groomer in Boston! Presley is the Bernedoodle expert. I know we all say we have the cutest pup, but there is truly no better groomer in the city for your doodle.
Juliet Bentley: We always use Red Dog to board our dog when on vacation. They take great care of him, have a great facility and have lots of add-ons to make sure our dog is busy and happy. Our dog can't do daycare during day, but the extra play, walks etc. offered ensure he still has a fun time while there. We've use them last two years for week-long stay and experience was great both times.
Noelle Kellogg: Responsive and helpful team that took good care of our dog for 5 days. Pickup and drop off was seamless, and I loved the doggie report card at the end. Thank you!
Nicole Burke: Great customer service for my kid cat.
Gabrielle Bonewitz: Presley has been my groomer for years 😊! I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. 💕
Janic3ros3: Presley does an absolutely Amazing job with my babies! She's sent me videos and pictures of both my dogs while grooming and bathing and they are always so happy! As soon as we walk in the door the dogs are yanking away from me to get to the entire staff. Even after 7 months in Florida all I have to say is her name and they are at the door ready to go!
The Doods: The entire team at red dog has been nothing short of amazing. The receptionists greet me and my dog with warmth each time we come in. The employees love on my dog and make him feel at home when he stays. The groomers have taken excellent care of my boy and he comes home smelling great and looking fabulous.
Joseph Eisner: We've used Red Dog since the first time needing to board our dog. We love being able to book him play sessions, and it's clear he does too - Every time we pick him up he excitedly says goodbye to all the staff before sleeping for 2 days at home.
Chyna Gouveia: Amazing place! Presley was the best and made my pup so comfortable.
LaTanya Renée: I had the worst experience with other grooming establishments and stumbled upon Red Dog. They by far exceed my expectations each time my dog goes for a grooming. They are prompt and quick. I feel less overwhelmed with my dog getting serviced in 2 hours vs 8 hrs. I highly suggest them and look forward to trying their doggy daycare soon. Also from what I've seen the staff is very pleasant and you can see they genuinely care about pets. That's a huge plus for me as a dog mom.
Christine Hanko: Red Dog is my pup's home away from home. She shows up every time tail wagging, and ready to see all of her staff and resident friends. She doesn't even look back going into daycare, and at pick up she is always happy and exhausted from being active all day. We use both the daycare, and lodging, and I've always had a wonderful experience with the staff. They are engaged, remember me and my dog, and always share details with me about her stay. I consider myself very lucky to have the Red Dog family as a part of my and my pet's community. 5/5 stars would recommend to a friend.
J Ellen Pace: Brady - our 3 year old mini poodle - looked and smelled terrific after a full grooming session with Sara. We’ve had trouble finding a groomer where he didn’t emerge from the appointment completely freaked out but today, Brady seemed much calmer when we picked him up. Have already made our next appointment! ☺️
Paige Robison: Highly recommend. My dog loves going to daycare here and always comes home tired!
Sophia Thoyo: Amazing Jarred, Janet and Danny were amazing. My flight was delayed and there were able to accommodate and allowed me to pick up Nature and Capri once I landed. I will recommend this Pet Hotel to friends and family and will also being using your services in the future. Thank you for all your help.
Meaghan Agnew: The staff is absolutely fantastic with my beagle and treats her as if she were their own pet. Winnie absolutely loves day care!

Harbor Hounds: what do users think?
Kelly Hopley Weis: The Harbor Hounds crew takes amazing care of our puppy; such great care that we can’t even say the words “day care” at home because she gets so excited to go! We often times joke about her being “daycare wasted” because she has so much fun that she comes home exhausted!Hands down the best money we spend each week - even better knowing we are supporting a kickass Woman owned business!Sara and her team care so much about each dog and the love they have for our pets is palpable. Thanks for everything you do for us, Harbor Hounds team!
Merisa Ajazi: Sara and crew are absolutely amazing, and my pup loves going to daycare every week! Just the word daycare gets her excited, because she knows she gets to hang with all her friends. HH always posts updates on their social media throughout the day and it's not only nice to get the update, but I love seeing all the enrichment activities going on. Their outdoor space is great (especially in the summer) and you just can't find another facility like this in the city. 10/10 recommend!!
Emily Williams: Izzy looks forward to her weekly visits! I love having such a professional and personalized daycare for my little lady! Every employee is amazing and really cares about your pup!
Jessica Corr: We are lucky to have found a spot at Harbor Hounds for the last 2 years. Sara and the team are amazing with the dogs and post great video content throughout the day. Having adopted a rescue during Covid that had some socialization issues, going to Harbor Hounds has really helped him. We also recommend their grooming services. Sara and the team are fun but also patient and we are so fortunate! Highly recommend ! 🤗🐕
Juan Gabarro: This is a great doggy daycare. There's no better endorsement than how eager my dog is to run into Harbor Hounds when I drop him off in the morning. And my Shiba is a rescue (we're his fourth family), wary of strangers, skittish and an escape artist so it says a lot to me that he feels safe and comfortable at Harbor Hounds. Before accepting a dog, they make sure all the dogs get along which is fantastic from my perspective. I think they have the luxury of doing that because there has historically been quite a long wait list. My dog has benefited noticeably from the socialization with dogs and people. Oh, and the hours at HH are great!
Chantelle Persac: Sara and her team are BY FAR the best in the business. They treat my pup, and each pup, as if they were their own. They are kind, compassionate and knowledgeable....and FUN! My dog runs to the front door of Harborhounds each morning, that is proof enough that he loves being there!!!
Hayley Richards: A lot of people got dogs during COVID so I feel that it’s important to shine a light on some of the best dog daycare places in Boston. The owner of Harbor Hounds, Sara, and her team are AMAZING. They are all incredibly knowledgeable, reliable and trustworthy. They truly love our dogs and care for them as if they are their own. Our dogs are always so happy to go and come home in the best moods. These photos are from when they were both boarded with Sara (who watches them personally - which is amazing) and they were SO happy. I’m not sure who had a better vacation, us or the dogs 😂.That said, whenever we send our dogs to either daycare or boarding, we have full confidence and literally never worry. I can’t say enough good things about and we are so happy to be a part of the HH family.
Deanna Reiss: We've been sending our pup here for the last month or so after his previous daycare closed unexpectedly. To say he loves it is an understatement! He is so excited to go in and is exhausted when he gets home (we get two days of peace because day after daycare he enjoys sleeping off his daycare hangover as well). He's made so many positive associations and friends through daycare; when we walk him he now runs up happily to dogs we've never seen before and are never surprised to hear that the dog is also a harbor hound! They do a great job keeping us updated through social media (Instagram stories) so I'm always confident he is safe, happy and having a blast. They also gave him a bath once and my goodness he smelled phenomenal for about 2 weeks!Cannot recommend Sara and her crew enough!
Mackenzie McNeill: We began bringing our newly rescued, very social dog to Harbor Hounds about 6 months ago. We cannot believe how lucky we are to have Sara and her business in our life! All employees truly care about your dog, post regular updates on social media of your pup, and are extremely responsive and accommodating. I cannot imagine bringing our pup anywhere else
Andre daSilva: Great place inside and out with friendly staff
kevin wilson: Some of the nicest people you will ever meet
Henry Lopez: I personally know the owner, and she's very goo in taking care of your pet.
Mary Jane Skidds: So passionate about dogs and great people!!!
Anne Jensen: Sara and her team are absolutely the BEST!!!!! I’ve never felt so comfortable leaving my frenchie, Flash, anywhere else. Unlike some other daycares, Harbor Hounds provide so much structure. Since going to Harbor Hounds, Flash’s training has improved tremendously. Flash goes sprinting into Harbor Hounds and I actually have to drag or carry him out at the end of the day. We love Harbor Hounds!!!
Bri Cummiskey: Our dog Sailor has been coming here since she was only a few weeks old. She is now a year and a half and we are still just as in love with this place. All the girls that work here genuinely love dogs and it shows. My dog has recently been difficult on leash and they 100% make her personality work with other dogs. Sailor has also made TONS of friends and is absolutely pooped when she gets home (which we love ). Even if we leave east Boston we will probably make the trip up to bring her, since it's so hard to find a place this trust worthy. 10/10 for Sara and her doggy loving gang!
Nicole Clement: Sara and the team at Harbor Hounds are no less than amazing! I know when I drop my dog Lily off that she is going to have fun, get her energy out playing with her friends, and be safe and cared for all day. They take great care of our dogs and I wouldn't trust Lily any where else. The team creates a real connection with the dogs, and I know when I drop Lily off, she can't wait to get inside and greet her human friends! This place is the best!!
Ngoc Giang: Wow i can’t believe the fake negative reviews that was posted here. What grade are we in? If you want a loving and safe place, than you bring your dog to Harbor Hounds where Sara, Brianna and the rest of crew will love and take care of your dog like if it was their own dog. My wife and I have brought our pup Milo to HH since he was 4 months old and he still gets excited every morning we drop him off.
Debbie Shufro: Best place in Eastie to bring your pup! Everyone is so friendly and they take amazing care of your dog. Briana is amazing with grooming and I feel very comfortable leaving my dogs there! Would recommend to anyone who needs a good groomer and/or doggie day care!
Fatima Guevara: Sara and her team are legit godsent! My dog Arthur has a lot of anxiety and they make him feel like he is at home. I never have to worry about him and his anxiety when he is at harbor hounds! They have Halloween parties, pictures with Santa etc - they really go that extra mile for our babies! If you are looking for a place to take care of your dogs while you are working HARBOR HOUNDS is the way to go! 😊
Kerry M.: Sara and the crew at Harbor Hounds are AMAZING! We recently rescued a dog from a shelter and were somewhat unsure of his past/experience with other dogs and if daycare in general would be a good fit for him. Sara took so much time out of her day to meet with us and see if Bailey would enjoy the day care. She even had him stop by for a half day to get him acclimated and ease him in/see how if he enjoyed it. She kept us updated the whole time on Bailey and put us at so much ease leaving him. He now goes weekly and he LOVES day care so much. I have never seen him so happy upon drop off (and tired upon pick up!) I can't thank them enough for taking the time to get to know him and make sure he was a good fit and for keeping us updated/at ease at all times. HH was by far the best thing we have done for Bailey and we are so grateful for Sara!
Dina Dimazo: Great groomer! Little tough to find but it's a gem when u do. Brianna did a fabulous job on my yorkie mix. Definitely make an appointment. U wont be disappointed.

Snippers Hair Club For Dogs: what do users think?
Gianna Roma: We have been trying several local groomers and had a hard time finding one we liked for our mini Australian shepherd. Snippers fit us in with a late request for grooming right before the holidays. They did a great job and price was reasonable, would definitely recommend!
Mike Ainsley: Wife called on a Thursday to get our dog’s nails cut, wouldn’t let her make an appointment but said she wouldn’t need one. Walked over Saturday (half hour walk) with our dog only to be told they didn’t have time. Really bad business practice to operate this way.
Amelia Joyce: They did a great job tending to my mom's pup. I wish they were open on more then just Saturdays, it's been hard to get her another appointment.
Catherine C.: I adopted my cat Esther about a month ago. As a DLH, requires a lot of grooming, some of which I can do myself. However, I knew I needed help for more difficult grooming tasks, so I scheduled her with Snippers. At drop off with Jailene, I explained what I know about Esther's history, and told Jailene my grooming preferences, but ultimately left the services to her professional discretion. After discovering that my cat tries to reenact The Exorcist around water (my words, not theirs!), they very wisely nixed the bath, and the services they did complete were expertly done. I appreciate Snippers' commitment to making the grooming process as non-traumatizing for pets as possible. I definitely recommend these groomers to others, and plan to return.
Diane Isaac: Best cut ever
Tami Duckworth: Snippers did a fantastic full grooming on my little Maltese. He looks and smells great. His teeth also look much better and his breath no longer stinks! He usually hates being groomed, but he apparently didn’t give them a hard time. Highly recommend!
Abigail Thayer: I moved to Savin Hill in early fall and have been taking my golden doodle and my parents’ Portuguese Water Dog (who I am babysitting) to Snippers. They are efficient, flexible and do a great job grooming and cutting my pups’ hair! My dogs are always happy and do not seem stressed at the end of appointments. Along with this, Snippers has been able to book me appointments on short notice when my dogs have gotten dirty/matted from playing at the beach and in the sand. Thank you Snippers!!
Erica Kent: This place was amazing they did a wonderful job on my dog and the groomer was really really sweet
Christian Rodriguez: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,Value
Michelle: I love the way dino groomed my dog .and my dog came back so happy 😊 other places he came home 😥 sad.
Jim Firlotte: Critical:Professionalism,Reliability,ResponsivenessSet up appointment didn't answer the phone left outside for over 30 minutes yelled at me for being late when standing outside for over 30 minutes then refused to groom dog
Macomber Courtney: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueMy virgil is a 12 year old tank of dog and he has never looked so good smelling great and mani pedi as good as it gets ,Dino is the sweetest guy and even virgils former groomer saw him and complemented on how great he looks,I would never take my dog anywhere else
Courtney Macomber: My dog never looked so good
chuck d: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueProfessional, talented and a caring groomer, very pleased as always with his work!
Fanny Gonzaque: The lady had my puppy for grooming more than 4 hours when I picked her up she was dehydrated. I went to pick her up at 1:30pm which was the time the groomer told me and she was not ready, than she yold me come back at 4:30pm and didnt even have her paws done, then it ended up being at 5:30pm. She was behind so I think she was over booked. My puppy was there from 10-5:30pm.Update:The lady passed away and now there is a new owner in the shop, his name is Dino and he seems to have magic hands with my dog, my Bella gets nervious when at the groomer's but he has found a way of making her calmed I give him 5 stars.
Kelsie Blake: I brought my cat there to get her matts removed. Her matts were all over her stomach and legs and he did everything he could to get them off no problem. Thank you!
william trojano: Critical:Professionalism
Isabella: Positive:Quality,Value
DMichelle Reed: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueVery professional and kind. I have a cat, Tommy and this is the second time I used their service to groom her. She had never had a bath or a cut before. Dino was fabulous, he treated her like this was his cat and she reacted in kind. I will return again, they are in the neighborhood which is great to support neighborhood business.
Nicholas Jannone: Not the best, not the worst. In a pinch it will do

The Broadway Dog Spa, Inc.: what do users think?
Katie Reilly: We've been bringing our Goldendoodle to Jenna for quite a while and she works her magic every time! Highly recommend
Kate McPherson: I have been bringing my mini dachshund to Broadway Dog Spa for 2 years now. They listen to what I would like done, and he looks perfect every time. They are also VERY sweet with him and with my large, rescue dog who gets her nails cut. I cannot recommend them more!
Zachary Hallam: Have been coming here for a couple years and everything was fine. We make appointments for the next grooming when we pick them up. When dropping off my three dogs today, I was told they didn't have an appointment. Much back and forth and they finally realized they screwed up. They didn't want to "inconvenience" their other customers and take mine which have been scheduled for two months. Total disrespect and poor customer service. We take three dogs every two to three months at $500 a visit... time to find another groomer and I suggest you do the same! Own up to your mistakes and make things right, they failed today.
Stephen O'Connor: I 56
Mark Adams: Great little shop. Michelle and her helpers are terrific. And a lot of fun double parking in Southie.
anna02150: Reason I give 1 star is not because they do bad grooming. But because of their schedule. My dog was sitting in the cage for 2:30 hours when I have arrived to see whats going on I was told that he just had a bath but no grooming yet because they are very busy and they have to groom other dogs before him even though I have seen a gentleman that brought his dog after I dropped off mine and picked him ready before the 2:30 hours. My dog is not used to the cages he is very anxious and gets sick after he spend too many hours in cage. I am sorry this is not to hurt the business is just to make you aware that it may happen to your dog.I have paid for the bath $50 and I did not argue with the staff I just did not want my dog suffer more in the cage and than end up paying hundreds for the vet. Just a suggestion maybe for the business if you do not have the time to groom a dog let the customer know and maybe they can decide if they want to keep the dog so long in the cage or chose another date.
Christina Meagher: This place is simply the best! We have an anxious rescue who has had traumatic experiences at another groomers, but heard great reviews from co workers, and man they were right! Our dog is an anxious rescue who gets trazodone before the groomers (vets recommendation). Broadway dog spa was so accommodating making sure she had the first appointment so the medicine didn’t wear off. They also try to pair the appointments with dogs their size so they are not scared, which I find to be amazing! I got a 9am appointment and she was done by 10:30! They were so kind, taking the time with her and giving her all the treats. Because of COVID I had to wait outside for her, but she came out, tail wagging with a big smile. Couldn’t have asked for better and kind service, this place is the best place to bring your dog! So happy to find such an amazing bunch of dog lovers, you guys rock and Murph couldn’t have looked better. They did everything I asked them and I couldn’t be happier with how beautiful she looks. Stay safe, stay healthy!!
David Borden: Excellent Dog Spa, Lulu was so Happy and Beautiful, can't wait to go back on 4/1/2020
Tim Dougher: First time here. Best cut our Newfie has ever gotten. A+ all around — service, quality, etc.
Eugene Frechette: First time customer and Love the final result. My German Shepherd was so soft, smelled fresh and was visibly happy. She is an anxious dog, but had no problem and came home calm. Great experience. Will be back on the regular . Thank you
Nick Dubrule: The best grooming service I could ever hope for. Groomed our Westie from 0-17 years. Always looked great and always comfortable with the experience.
Bill Corrigan: Such an awesome groomer! Michelle and her team are so good with the dogs, of all sizes and shapes. They are also efficient - so the dog is not in a cage all day like at some groomers.

Brian's Kennels Training & Quality Grooming: what do users think?
Carson Leccese: My dog loves going here. Staff is super friendly, greets my dog with lots of excitement. I would highly recommend for day care or boarding.
Sybil Oconnell: Excellent place to board dog
Angela M Spagna: I get my cat's nails done here, fast and flawless!
Ashlyn Hogan: I used to bring my pug here years ago a d new bring my fur brother Pomeranian and fur son American Akita. Grooming and boarding effortless and pups come.home smelling good for weeks!
Peter Krasnausky: Took care of my bootsie's matting problem nice and cheap. Thanks.
Crystal Tiffany: If I could give a negative star I would. I have never been charged more than $100 to groom my Briard. They charged me $160. The groomer asked me directly whether she should cut/trim his face, and I vehemently begged her explicitly NOT to trim, cut, shape his face or head in any way, and she acknowledged that she understood. I explained that if we let his hair grow out it will part over his eyes, and she acknowledged that. She then ignored that request completely and did whatever she wanted, significantly trimming and shaping his face and head and neck. I am outraged at the price I was charged for a service I did not get. I will be entering a complaint with the BBB. Who do they think they are?
Tyler McGeehan: We love Brian's Kennels! Our dog is so excited every time we bring her for play group or an extended stay.
lashauna pettway: They were super awesome the receptionist help me the whole time with my little Ruby who Was afraid as well as I
Avery Glennon: did not have a good experience with my dog at all. my dog came home with her paws all bashed up. she has an infected paw wound and many more. the workers did not take notice in my dog. I will not be bringing her back.
Christopher Butler: Have been going to this kennel for years. Pretty much everyone knows my dog and he greets them with no issue. The last time I drop him off before going out of town a guy I have never seen is there. He seems flustered and an uneasy. He tried to leash my dog and he barked at him. He then accused my dog of attacking him and proceeded to tell others the same thing. He was quickly corrected by my wife who came in next to drop off our cat. When I returned the woman who was there informed me that I needed to retrieve my dog from the back myself. Clearly because this guy was giving my dog a bad name. I have never once received a negative report about my dog in all the years he has been there. I won’t be back. Just lost my business. Get this guy training or don’t let him near peoples animals!
Christine Cedrone: Great service. Always does a great job grooming our cat Frankie.
Luke Schneider: I have an extremely difficult dog to groom. I adopted him two years ago and after one groomer was unable to complete his first haircut I started grooming him myself. I decided to try again with Brian's Kennel. About two weeks ago I called and explained how challenging the dog is and that I would like to speak to the groomer prior to the appointment. I also informed whoever I spoke with that the dog will be sedated for the appointment. The person I spoke with suggested I come for the first appointment of the day to be able to speak with the groomer. The closest appointment was today 6/21/22 and they initially booked me at 7am. They called me back shortly after and moved the appointment to 7:30 am because the groomer wouldn't be in at 7am. I arrived on time this morning with a sedated dog and was informed that the groomer wouldn't be arriving until 8:30 am. The only option I was given was to leave the dog until the groomer arrived. I asked why someone would book me for a 7:30 am appointment when the groomer doesn't arrive until 8:30 am. The young woman I spoke to didn't know the answer. I left and I won't be going back. I explained how difficult the dog can be to groom. I planned the timing of the sedative, I took first appointment of the day, and I asked to be able to speak to the groomer. I did everything I could to make the process as smooth as possible for both my dog and the groomer. Now I have a sedated dog that I'm too angry to groom myself right now and I'm looking at another couple weeks before I can try again with another groomer. If your dog can be challenging to groom Brian's Kennel will not work with you to make the experience easier and will end up wasting your time.
Sheika Babin: Jake's first day in doggy day care at Brian's Kennel was good. It's going to take a few visits but I think it's the place to keep him while I am at work. The place clean and the staff was very nice. Will se how the next week or two weeks go.
Paula MacElhiney: Fantastic! Our dogs love going there.
Paul Harding: Staff is friendly and very helpful
Brian McInerney: Toby is always excited to spend a couple days making new friends at Brian's. You should see his little tail go back and forth. These people love dogs!
Pamela Jones: Nice crew. Dog has came home happy every time
Hilary Dudley: We left our boopys here for 6 days, left bones, and asked that they give her a bath while she’s there. When we picked her up she had a horrible cold, ate like she hasn’t ate since we dropped her off, and smelt worse than she did when we dropped her off. We also noticed patches on her skin were lighter than others (we have no idea what this means). I don’t believe they even bathed her and charged me for it let alone traumatized our dog. Pay the extra few bucks, there’s a reason this place is this cheap. Will absolutely never be back
Kevin Zarnoch: I sent both my dogs here while we were away on vacation. One of my dogs is overly nervous, always anxious. They handled them both perfectly. Loved everything about my experience and will be recommending them to everyone and using them in future. Thanks!
Tatiana Hill: We left our yorkie there for a week and when we went to pick him up, it was pretty seamless. By the time he came back home with us, we noticed that he was acting extremely weird and found him bleeding under his neck and near his legs. We tried to call and see what happened but they’ve been avoiding us. Now we are having to take him to the vet and get him checked out…DO NOT TRUST THEM

The Dog Port: what do users think?
Josie KramerRodriguez: They do an excellent job grooming, a bit pricey but it's the rent in this area I suppose.
Marilyn Monty: I brought my dog here to get her nails trimmed and grinded and they were so nice. They were quick and very professional.
Angelo B: I just picked up my miniature schnauzer from Doggy Port, Daniela did such an amazing job. I was in tears when I saw how beautiful my pup looked. I HIGHLY recommend this place. If you’re new to the neighborhood and have pets this is the place to go, You will not be disappointed. I’m so grateful for finding this little gem of a place. ❤️
Maddie: Truly a wonderful place to take the fur babies. My one year old pup usually sees Daniela (she’s wonderful) for his grooming. Whenever he goes for daycare services I can tell he has a great time, usually Victor or whenever it is at the front will let me know whoever he ate or not and how the day went. I can tell they truly care about their furry customers because my pup whenever we walk by he wants to go inside. Thank you! for taking such good care of Milo. 🐶
Laura B: It was so much better this time around. The. Price was a bit high but it was a wonderful service. The groomer asked how I wanted my dog groomed. His length was perfect. He got his nails buffered and he smelled great. Plus they gave him a cute little bowtie. We bought him a carrot chicken dogsicle which he loved.
Scott Kirkland: Great experience
Soluna DJ: Good!
Radha Patel: Dave did a fantastic job grooming my 90lb goldendoodle! He looks so fresh and clean! He needed this after 2 years of at home grooming. Thank you, Dave!
Nicole Beckles: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueMy baby boy was well cared for and calm getting his nails clipped for the first time and David was great with handling him. I will recommend The doggy port in East Boston to my friends 👍🏾
Elicia Inman: I would highly recommend David R. at The Doggy Port for dog grooming! David is not only talented in his craft but shows a genuine love for dogs. Our Miniature Golden doodle, Levi, does not do well with strangers but David insisted on sitting with him until he was comfortable. He warmed up to David almost immediately which made me confident that I left him in good hands. Levi completed a full groom with David and looked incredible! I was impressed by the quality of the groom for the price I paid. Thank you David, we will definitely be back for our next appointment.
Maria Camila Bermudez Ruiz: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueI’m so happy! I couldn't have found a better place to bring my baby. Dave is excellent, excellent service, my dog kinda loves the Doggy Port, when I picked him up he seemed happy and comfortable!I wish I could rate this place 10 starts!!
maybelline perez: Beautiful place for day care and grooming!
Rydyl Bibber: Opens at 7AM for an appointment at 8AM. Currently waiting outside and no one is available. First time going here and I’m extremely concerned about the staff that works here. I want to be sure I can at the very least talk to the groomer and go over the details on how I want the dog to be cared for. Not sure if they canceled the appointment without my knowledge but I am waiting outside until they open up.Edit: Was able to get the dog for her appointment she is a malamute mix and it’s in the middle of August so I am expecting a short style hair cut BUT instead when I picked her up I noticed she didn’t get a full hair cut just a trim. The lady who handled my dog initially also proceeded to handle the cashier as well and failed to give me the receipt. The price came out to $140 which is a lot higher than I had paid in other venues. I received a call from the manager to go over my complaint and was notified that I would get a dog treat on the way out, that did not happen as well. Just a terrible experience overall.
Deanna Reiss: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ResponsivenessBrought our pup in for a bath! He’s a nervous bather and David rearranged his schedule so he could spend more time getting pup comfortable with the bath. Softest our dog has ever been!
MaryKate Lapinel: Critical:Professionalism,Quality,ReliabilityThe manager claimed that someone had walked my dog, obviously not realizing that I have security cameras. She lied right to me. No one walked my dog
Kara Carew: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,ResponsivenessDave did an excellent job for our goldendoodles summer teddy bear groom! Will definitely be returning
Caroline Ostrander: Dave is an incredibly talented groomer. We really appreciate the time and care he spends with Cannoli to make sure she is comfortable. We have been taking Noli to Dave since she was a puppy and was extremely patient and gentle the first couple of times calling them “lessons”. Super reliable, responsive and friendly. Thanks Dave! Highly recommend.
ronald joshi: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueDave has been trimming Olive’s nail for a while now. And he is really good. Very friendly and quick to respond. Great place and good with dogs.
deech er: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueMy puppers love this place, top notch. Super friendly staff
Claudia Milena Ramírez M.: Positive:Professionalism,QualityWe love the services you have! My dog, Bruno, and I are very happy with his new style, the opportunity that he has to go out for a walk close to our home in Jeffries Point, while I work. If it is sunny, we love the fact we can have ice cream together, he loves the popsicles!
Esteban Rivera: Very professional & reliable. The representative that answer the call was very polite and extremely sweet (Victoria), answer all my questions and assisted me with the booking process. I had my fur baby Groomed (Bath, nails, ears cleaned & teeth brushed). The groomer (David) & the staff were amazing. If you care about your fur baby like I do, there is no better place in East, Boston & make sure to check out their ice cream (popsicles) My baby loves them. I will definitely be back to The Doggy Port and make sure all my friends visit as well! 10/10.

The Common Dog: what do users think?
Oswaldo Limas: Greatest Doggie Day Care &, more importantly, my pooch loves it!
Lucy: My mastiff has been coming here every week for about 8 months now. She's been enrolled in about 5 different day cares while we've moved around the state for college, work etc. I can say by far this place is one of her favorites, and mine too. We've done grooming & weekday / weekend day care services and all have been great.Pro's:- They separate dogs by size- They have onsite trainers who are actually trained to monitor and assess behavior- They have employees who seem to enjoy being around the dogs and are always kind and courteous- They offer fun extras for the dogs- They have areas for the dogs to cool down if they're over stimulated- They have flexible hours that are realistic for most schedules and I believe they offer even more flex on the hours for a fee. I haven't used it yet, but that is super helpful in a crunch.- Most importantly, they don’t discriminate based on breed. If you have a giant breed or a commonly "banned breed", you know this can be a struggle to find.Con:I love their camera idea, but for me at least it's too blurry to see anything more than pixels. I see some people saying they love it, so maybe where my dog is is just too hard to see. It's a fun idea though.Maybe as my dog ages she will grow out of it, but we love and appreciate Common Dog for offering a safe and fun space. They are some of the best that we've seen… highly recommend!
Stormer Santana: Great spot for day care and boarding. Staff are friendly and attentive, especially when planning a longer stay. Facilities are clean and you can tune in via their cameras
Kevin Coveney: They take great care of our New Foundland
Nancy Linscott: My dog loved going, the staff is great
James Hanson: The staff here are truly amazing you can tell they love what they do and Titus approves
Evan Offord: Common Dog is absolutely fabulous! The entire staff is unbelievably kind and caring, and, most importantly, they are so patient and welcoming to our rescue dog who loves her doggy friends, but is still warming up to humans. Day care has helped my sweet girl become just a little braver around new people. Thank you Common Dog for all that you do!
Emeline Gaujac: I cannot recommend this place highly enough. All the trainers know every dog by name. My puppy is so excited when i drop her off. A little more expensive than others but so worth it. I love that they stay open till 7 so it works with my work schedule.
Sanket Kamath: We’ve been sending our dog to Common Dog for about 6 months now and we couldn’t be happier! Our pup comes home tired every time he comes back home and we even boarded him a couple of times while traveling and we were kept updated on how he was doing while we were away. The staff are super friendly and make sure that the dogs have a fun time! I would definitely recommend TCD!
Bijoyita Roy: Our puppy has been going to The Common Dog for over a year now and we are so GLAD we found them! He loves the staff and they love him! He loves going to day care so much that we cannot say the word "common dog" at home because as soon as he hears the word he thinks he is going to daycare and stands by the door. We have no hesitation leaving him at daycare and their flexible hours and options make life so easy for us! Most importantly, the staff really care for the puppies that go there. The facility is great and the staff make it even better - home away from home for our puppy.
Laurie Brown: Great loving staff. They love their job and it shows. My pup loves to go, gets excited when he sees the staff, that says a lot. He loves to come home and tell me all about his day, then he goes to bed and sleeps like a baby.
Anysia Kenney: My dog Clifford loves common dog 🐕
Erik Bullard: Fantastic place for your pup!Great staff, hours, availability daily, no advanced scheduling needed, and you can watch your doggo on Webcam!Couldn't ask for a better daycare.
Jason Scanlon: Been using them for many years. Fantastic place. super clean. super nice. We always know our pup is in good hands when we drop him off.
chelsea jones: Edit: I just wanted to add on how amazing everyone at the Common Dog, including Laura the owner. They go above and beyond for the dogs and for us people too. We are so lucky we found them. Shout out to Sam, Sabrina, Carly, and JB.We are so grateful for this place. Our dog can be tricky, so finding the right boarding and daycare solution is really important to us. Common Dog is always there for us!! It's so nice to know we are always able to bring Meadow there and we will be taken care of.
Kari Francillon: The Common Dog has been a safe haven for our beloved beagle mix Kado over the last 10 yrs. They took the time to get to know Kado, work with him through his anxiety so he could stay in comfort over night when we traveled. We recently said goodbye to our sweet boy and I wanted to personally say thank you to The Common Dog for loving and caring for our boy as much as we did.
Renee Fisher: I've had such a positive experience with the Common Dog. My dog's been going there for almost a year, and it's such a comfort to get her out of the apartment and bring her to daycare. I love knowing that she's running around, playing, and being well taken care of. The staff is so kind and helpful. I've also seen the most results from our training with the Common Dog. All around such a great place. I can't thank them enough.
Justine Steinberger: We love common dog!! We started using them shortly after getting our dog Bagel as a puppy and had been using them for years until we moved out of state. Bagel absolutely LOVED the staff and they were instrumental in helping him grow up and socialize. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. We've used their daycare, grooming and boarding services and only have positive things to say about all of them. Would highly recommend!!
Vivian Ni: My dog Missy absolutely LOVES this place and the staff is just AMAZING!
kathy danielkebir: I didn't go there i drove by there
Seema Kakar: Super friendly staff who will treat your pup like their own! 🐾
