Middlesex: what do users think?
Tarnier Abellard: It is a mature crowd and a decent vibe but the Dj needs to play more reggae.
Jaye Aster Broder: Decently large space that can be reserved before the prime time. Drinks are average and typical Cambridge prices. There is often a cover here. The bathrooms don’t close and lock well.
David R: Great
John Sanders: If you are looking for a place where you can have a legit good time this is it. You aren't going to get bottle girls with sparklers dancing around in almost nothing, but you will get a great place to dance and hang out. There is an escalating cover that starts at $10, and goes up to $20 as the night goes on. Its a small place so have realistic expectations. The Dj's are top notch, the bar staff friendly, and hot!! What more can I say about this place, drop in and have fun...
BOB Surette: Middlesex is a great spot for great music of all types (depending on the night), great peopple wiht good vibes. If you are looking for an attitude free great place ot dance, drink, and have a good time then this is the place. The staff is solid and could not be nicer. The bartenders are legit and hot!
Victoria Gabriele: Come here if you want your stuff stolen and your credit cards overcharged. Avoid the coat check.
Katie Faraone: If you like dancing, you'll have a great time, and if you don't like dancing, why did you go? The DJ played a solid mix that kept all my friends with a 15 year age range happy, the drinks were tasty and the vibes were solid. Getting a drink is like getting a drink at any crowded place; if you engage with the bartender, it will happen a lot faster (we never waited more than a few minutes on a busy Saturday night). The crowd was extremely diverse by Boston/Cambridge standards. When we arrived at 9:30, it was basically full inside and there was no line. The coat check was clutch. My phone tells me I danced 3 miles in about 3 hours. The perfect place to go dancing when you're looking for house party vibes if any of your friends had a house this big.
Gawaine O'Gilvie: Another awesome night! Bartenders & staff were fantastic as usual!I don't know how the staff can stay so calm & collected with all the grumpy people from like 3 days ago (Saturday).I heard Harvard lost against Yale so that could explain why students were so grumpy and complaining.DJ had a killer set!
Samantha: This bar is absolutely terrible - do not go!! The music is really bad, and certain of the bartenders are extremely rude and take people’s credit cards, aren’t paying attention to the charges, give them to the wrong people and then disclaim responsibility. They also have no manager present, and the person “filling in” for the manager, Chris Young, was dishonest about the bar’s procedures for this type of credit card fraud (despite being an “accountant” and an utter lack of professionalism). There are so many better places to go that won’t rip you off!
Jeremy Spear: if you’re a young person don’t go here. I’m 23 and the average age in this bar was at least 35, it was filled with some of the weirdest and creepiest people i’ve ever seen in my life. Worse than anywhere else. We all wanted to go somewhere else within 5 minutes. Also a super overpriced cover charge. It’s worth maybe $5 but they charged $20. Music was 3/10- they literally played the Rugrats theme song. If you have to use the bathroom, the line will take minimum 15 minutes because it’s a single stall. For the same price, just go to an actual club and have more fun. The venue is boring- it’s just a big square room. The fact the owner replies to the 1 star comments and gets all trashy and defensive is all you need to know lol
Mackenzie Keefe: Minneapolis has a horrendous bar scene so I was excited to try out bars and clubs in a new state. Somehow, this was worse. There were 4 DJs and somehow the music got unplugged. Which I guess was fine because I didn’t hear 1 good song the entire time I was there.
Hadley Camilus: I've been going there for over 15 years, and have met really cool people over the years. This rating is about the totality of my experiences rather than my most recent ones. I love that it's a mature crowd. The last couple of times I've gone, the DJs have lacked feel. They cut songs off way too quickly and don't have a sense of what the audience is feeling. In general, I love that the music isn't poppy. You gotta be into old school hip hop/r&b and 70s soul to dig this spot.
浜中正志: Went there on Friday night at 10:30 and forced to wait for 30mins with no reason because there were enough space inside. I expect good hiphop music but they never play that. All the way EDM or even some wired music. You also must join long Q for rest room. Just packed with young students who has no clue about music.
Carl Biggie: Decent place to be at 10:30!
Crystal Quintal: Comfortable atmosphere for any age. Hip hop & r&b.
Julia Gilligan Corsetti: The best place in Cambridge to dance the night away! If you want house party vibes, this is the spot! 💃 hot bartender also
Jacob Mancinotti: One of my favorite clubs in Boston! Good music and dancing. Also, kind staff. Pretty great!
Fibi N: So went there with a large group on Friday night around 10:30, it wasn't crowded so there was plenty of space to dance. The bar tenders are quick with taking your order and the bathrooms are very clean. The dj played an awesome mix of afro beats, hip hop, reggaeton and some old school hits. The place gets more filled up closer to midnight. $10 entry fee. Will definitely be back on account of the great music.
Ramona Bourguignon: Awesome place for a night out. Staff couldn’t be more friendly if they tried :). The steak and fries was delicious and so was everything else we ordered. Highly recommended it!
Marilynn H: Went here for dancing, it was such a great night. Amazing music and fun lighting!
Jed Armour: Best house and techno DJs in the world every Thursday for a party called Keep On.

The Phoenix Landing: what do users think?
Gloworm Sparkle far: Amazing music, staff, menu and so much more . . It's my favorite place in Boston
kevin altschuler: Not the best food or the best drinks but the vibes are top tier
Okella Wood: Elements. Awesome Molly, great bartender. Molly's professionalism and attention to patron's needs was well noticed. Almost like you were in her house and she was simply taking care of her guests. More Molly!!
Nathan D: Solid local pub
Donal Waide: Beah heah!
Jesper Olsen: Great place for beers and live dj
Jonathan Clark: If you are a Liverpool fan & want to watch a match with many other fans...this is the place to Go in the Boston area..it's a bit small so make sure to get there early if you want to secure a seat..
Sean Gryesten Fields: Great energy and reasonable prices. Awesome music most nights too!!
dBridge: Great little club and has the distinguished honour of hosting the longest running drum and bass weekly night in the world, coming up on 25 years. Props to them!
Akash Srivastava: Great joint for sandwiches and drinks
Doug Schultz: Fruit Flies every time .
Arpit Jain: Very cool place! Went here for a Patriots football game, and it was a blast. Not too many people, seems to be more of a Liverpool place, but still fun.
Evan Lukash: Elements on thursdays is the longest running dnb weekly in the world. The drinks are affordable and the DJs that come thru you'll never see in a space this intimate. Don't miss elements.
Leticia DeCastro: Best place to watch soccer around Cambridge! True fans go there
Kenneth Moore: Best bar in Boston
William Pavlenkov: IrishLive musicConnectionsWhat more can I say
A McDonald: Noisy, kinda crazy sports/dive bar in the Harvard area - popular with student crowd
Brian O'Reilly: The exterior isn't appealing, the interior is okay, and I had to wait a while for a table. BUT... this place served one of the best Irish Breakfasts I've had outside Ireland. The Irish bacon was especially tasty. Portions were a little on the small side, but it was really excellent. If I was going to pick a shortcoming, I'd have to note that they omitted the sauteed mushrooms. Still, I would go back just for the breakfast!
E Z: Went there for England vs US game. They purposely turned off the sound for English national anthem. Then blasted sound for US anthem. Pretty disrespectful if you ask me, especially when the pride themselves on showing the ENGLISH Premier League. No thanks mate!
Andrew Zoller: Awesome bar to watch futbol!
Nyabuto Onkundi: Go!

House of Blues Boston: what do users think?
Elisabeth Noel: Lots of room, 3 bars, and an upstairs. Fast and efficient staff, friendly bartenders and absolutely sick light set up. Sound is super high quality and it's near lots of great convenient parking.
e frizzie: so so so so so so so so SO beautiful! worth your while. the bathrooms are gorgeous aswell. setting makes me wanna bust a move.
Robbie Frost: I've been to a few shows here and it's becoming one of my favorite venues. The floor is great, with nice spots on either side to lean against a rail or pillar. The box seats are a really nice experience, very comfortable and a killer view.
MA: I would just like to give Jenn aka Big Mama a huge shout out. My friend had diabetes & needed some assistance & she went out of her way to accommodate us. Thank you for being a great person & helping when most wouldnt!
Jonathan Keller: It’s a scam. Selling mezzanine floor concert tickets with no view of the stage
Erin Rauch: The place is great! Staff is welcoming and friendly. Big enough for lots of people but didn’t feel overly crowded. My only complaint is that when were were leaving, my husband and son had nice big cups of ice water with them that they were given at the concessions, which was nice to have after being in a slightly crowded room cheering and singing along to the music. The first person at the exit said as long as it was just water it was fine to bring them. The lady we saw next just grabbed them from my husband and son and said we couldn’t have them. Didn’t even give us a chance to say anything. Really rubbed us the wrong way as it could have been handled much better. We’ll only be back if it’s an epic show.
Carolyn Turner: Barely of age “security” girls who look like they have never had a sip of alcohol, itching to kick people out. Shame on you
Ayan Chatterjee: Saw a lot of rock and metal musicians here: Slash, Periphery, Veil of Maya, Jason Bonham, Spiritbox, Intervals, After the burial, to name a few. The sound system is decent. Sometimes the vocals aren't properly balanced.
Lawrence Hernandez (Larry): as most reviews say try to get the floor tickets if you can try to go early to get the railing on the other floors. I got the floor tickets and was great for me. just remember floor best if not get there early for the rail.
Ben Wiener: They way oversold this show. I'm pretty tall and it was impossible to see.
Josi Araújo: Recentemente fui ao show de Djavan e gostei muito do lugar. Organizado, limpo, staff gentil. Nada a reclamar!
Natalie Cunningham: Terrible experience. I don’t even know where to begin with this place. The manager was extremely disrespectful when he came over to our table holding my ID in his hand after our waitress carded my friends & I after we placed our drink order. He had bent my license almost completely in half, claiming that “other licenses don’t do this” and “they aren’t supposed to bend this much.” He had to forcefully bend my license an extreme amount, just to try to prove some kind of point. To me, this was completely uncalled for. I’m 25 years old and was dressed very conservatively. By no means do I look like an underaged teen trying to use a fake ID. Now, I’m going to have to go out of my way & pay money out of my pocket to fix my license due to the idiotic actions caused by the manager. On top of that, both himself & the waitress did not offer any sort of compensation whatsoever. No sense of sympathy. 0/10 will not be coming back here.
Jamal Gaston: Wezzy f baby
Kristina Kowalik: Intimate venue. Was great!
John Caruso: Awesome venue!
John Kelley: Venue staff are 10/10. I hope they enjoyed hosting Infected mushroom.
Елена Кара: Always a pleasure to come for concert!
Antwan Baldwin: Food was great along with drinks. Lil Wayne concert 🔥🔥🔥
brian trivitt: House of rules
Trie Michaud: As a short person, if you don’t get there early to get rail space you should just leave if you were hoping to actually see the live band.
Shamika Blunt: Such a dope vibe! You have to visit the Foundation Room. It's a restaurant lounge connected to the venue. OMG!!!

Wally's Cafe Jazz Club: what do users think?
Dave Kinghorn: Standing Room Only. I would have had a great time even if I hadn't been lucky enought to get a seat, though. I hope they can knock down the wall and add some more space because I'd love to be back there.
Nat Werth: Superb jazz venue with consistently talented and impressive musicians. One of my few regrets while living in Boston was not visiting Wally’s more often. There’s no cover, so remember to tip the band and to show your support to the venue! I look forward to future nights spent dancing at Wally’s Jazz Café!!
rafael g: Great jazz music... very impressed with Paul's ability to do everything 👏 👌 👍🏼
Éva Thouvenot: As many have mentioned before - says it opens at 5h pm, that’s just BS. I brought my dad (75 years old) to this club, coming all the way from Montreal… we got there at 5h and waited in the freezing rain until 5h30 pm - the bar manager kept telling us “just 10 mins “ … we left, never got in, who knows if they ever opened? Very disrespectful. Won’t ever go back.
lala stein: This bar is our kind of local bar! Friendly and great music. We were there on a Tuesday night, funky music
Rob Goodwin: This is the best Jazz and best vibes you will find in New England.
DextDee Studios. LTC: Great environment. Super nice owners. Family own and managed.
James Wynn: Boston jazz at its finest...
Stéphane Perron: Very bad experience . The bouncer and the manager at the entrance are full of contempt for the clients. Overrated place. It stinks. I love jazz and have been to many jazz clubs around the world. This is easily one of the worst ones. Money grab for naive tourists. Walk around the area, there are many jazz clubs or restaurants with live bands that respect their clients. All the 4 and 5 for this awful place are obviously friends of the management trying to bury all the 1. Beware. Filter the reviews.
Dylan Sidd: My first fail attempt to go to Wally’s was 1993, on my way I got mugged on Columbus Street, back then it was not so safe area. I was a student, after my school I moved to California, my kid is going to same university as I did and I came to visit her. This was my first visit to Wallys, which I have waited 30 years, I walked in with the full style, could not have been happier to be there. It’s an iconic place to be. I had fabulous time.
David Hale Smith: Unique small venue for enjoying great music in an intimate historic setting. Cozy spot with walls lined by photographs and news clippings of jazz history. Pretty good prices on drinks for Boston. Wonderful place to see talented newcomers on Sunday nights when students and friends play for tips. Do not miss this spot.
Tim Barnes: Amazing spot if you love jazz!
Alan Pierson: Great music! And real history here too
Donal Waide: Been here on and off since 90s. It's not just Jazz, it's Wallys!
T K: Maybe the coolest place you never knew was there
Alfonso Sira: Great place to go for live music!
Priscila Drummond: Cozy place with live performance and nice drinks.
Phil B: Fun atmosphere. Open late on weeknights.
Kevin M. Doyle: Truly, a Boston institution. If you like jazz, you'll love this simple little bar that loves to showcase up and comers as well as accomplished and famous jazz musicians.
KR Marañon: Jazz night during the winter time, grab a drink enjoy the live music, and don’t be afraid to share the energy with the performers - respectively.
Christina Moreno: Every time we go to Boston, we always go to Wally’s! It is THE place to go to have a good time! It is extremely lively, and the music is always extraordinary.

Paradise Rock Club: what do users think?
Emilia Bingham: The stage was off center, which was kind of odd and made it hard to be in a good spot, but overall it's a great spot and it's fun to see the names of everyone who has performed there before
Jane Abbott: I just got thrown out for absolutely no reason. Do not go here. They will literally rob you. The bartenders are absolutely insane and will cut you off for no reason. The bouncers will throw you out for having dilated pupils. "Becky the bartender" (gag me) has no idea what's she's doing. Serves drinks with no alcohol in them and then cuts you off. Then Matt the bouncer throws you out for having dilated pupils. What century are we living in? We're in a dark concert hall, everyone has dilated pupils you utterly useless tools. All I said to the bartender was that I would leave a bad yelp review. And then she started this nonsense aggression that got me kicked out of a show. Great job losing a paying customer causing zero trouble, for life. This place is absolute garbage and so are all of its employees.
Autumn Boots: Nice venue! Loved seeing The Summer Set here.
Jonathan Fuchs: The sound in this place is great!Staff/bartenders are top notch, I was really impressed by this spot.
Christy Chamberlain: This venue was overbooked, too tiny for the amount of people allowed in, the staff was rude and physically pushing me around. Very little visibility of the band performing. No parking near this venue either!Very disappointed.
Ashlinn Withers: My boyfriend and I traveled to see a show here. The venue is smaller than we expected, but the sound was good. There are pillars everywhere that can block your view, but there is a balcony you can stand on. Two small bars which are sufficient for the amount of people you can fit in that venue. The staff seem well prepared for anything and are friendly. I suggest this venue for any intimate show you'd like to attend.
Alex C: We saw The Black Dahlia Murder along with a stacked bill of bands and we had a good time. There are a bunch of signs stating that stage-diving and moshing weren't allowed, but security was extremely cool, and there was tons of it. I liked that there was a balcony section that provided a good view (one side is closer to the stage than the other) and a reprieve from the moshers.
Jeff Wright: Paradise has excellent shows, professional and refreshingly relaxed security (they take it seriously, but there’s no overly aggressive nonsense), three bars inside the concert hall and one outside, comfortable seating upstairs, great lighting, and the world’s worst layout for sound. The stage is inexplicably oriented to face the short side of the rectangular room, resulting in many, many weird acoustically dead or insanely echoey spots. The two massive pillars also tend to obscure the stage depending on where you stand and make for a good shoulder-shattering surface if you’re at a rowdier show. The staff are consistently excellent and the acts they bring in make it worth the visit, but be prepared to try a variety of vantages to get decent sound.
Aaron Geisel: It's a good venue and I'd recommend it, but with some reservations. We saw The Summer Set in 2023 and they were great. The lights were very well done, but there's a few pillars that can get in the way of the stage. Check in ws quick. There were some jerks that kept trying to mosh and even though they have a sign saying you'll be kicked out, security didn't do anything, which was frustrating. I'm trying to have a good time, not get elbowed in the face. I would have had a better time had those guests followed the rules.
Zachary M (Dr Civilization): Some unfortunately placed columns and strong AC but otherwise great music venue!
Lindsay hynes: Nice layout. Medium sized venue. Clean, books hardcore shows often. Can't ask for much more. Sounds mint. I travel 45 min + so go there and it's surrounded by killer food.
Connor: small, intimate venue that still packs a punch
Dustin Allan: Always a great experience. Venue has amazing sound
Jessie Ritner-Skillings: It is much smaller than I expected, and there are a lot of obstructed views due to pillars. It's an intimate venue to see your favorite band, but you'd have to be sure to be up near the stage in the center, or you'll miss half the show. Security staff was friendly, and the bar tenders were great.
stephanie coffill: Absolutely love this venue! Every show I’ve been to has been amazing.
Crystal Lavallee: I took my daughter to her first concert tonight and this was the perfect venue to do it at! The bartender was so happy to serve us and the rest of the staff's vibe was great too.
Marisa Barden: My favorite concert venue. It's a cozy size - no matter where you are standing you feel close to the stage.
Nick Korbel: The layout is weird, but this is a great place to see a band. Intimate, amazing sound, good lighting.
Dave Van Iderstine: The grungiest tiny loud rock club you'll ever see blasting damn good shows at in Boston! Comes with secret parking spots too 🤐
Courtney Martin: First time going to the paradise rock club, it was a great experience. Jessie murph and Charlieonnafriday killed it!!!
Emily Roth: The oddest venue set up ever. The stage is on the long side of the room, limiting the space directly in front of it. It's a small venue, but has great shows. I'll keep coming back even if I can barely see the stage.

Guitar Center: what do users think?
Daylis Alonzo: Muy buenos y muy amables sus empleados..
Santo Ramirez: Exelente Servicio, Precios bajos..!
Alex K: The worst experience.I asked them to lower the strings on my acoustic guitar. They charged me for a platinum setup which includes new strings but instead they used my own string without asking my permission. They did not lower the strings, and its "platinum" setup took five days.
Champ: Synthesizers
Carolyn Willander: Went in and asked for a mic stand. Very clearly did not know my way around this stuff since I walked right to the counter when I came in and asked for help. Got home and learned it didn’t come with a clip for the mic. Good service would have asked if I needed it.
Jessica Luo: This place makes me want to shop at sweetwater
Samantha Em: Helpful and patient
Caroline: The staff was so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful when we were picking out my son's first guitar. We will defiantly be back!!!
Scott McDiarmid: Great shop. Lots of inventory and helpful staff.
Stephanie Joseph: super helpful and informative employees. i walked in and was immediately greeted and assisted. i was on the hunt for something my partner needed and i had no idea what to look for. the employees grabbed it and told me about their replacement policy in case my item broke they would replace it. which is amazing!!! you can tell everyone working actually enjoys their job here and it’s refreshing to see. especially these days.
Cesar Garcia: Staff is great, but the variety of instruments and accessories is low compared to any other guitar center. Because is closed to college, most guitars have a lock and you must leave you credit card on the counter if you have to test a pedal. I didn't like the experience, again, compared to other guitar center I have visited.
Alp Arhan Uguray: Worst possible experience at this store. People are smoked high out of their minds at this shop. You’d spend hundreds of dollars of money on equipment and the customer experience you get is same as picking up a product from trash. My recommendation is to visit Boylston store for anybody out there, looking to purchase music equipment.Additionally, they lose equipment. I gave my guitar for repair before Covid and after Covid hit the said they lost it. Since everyone is high, they do not remember much what happened and who picked up the equipment. I am sorry to say this but avoid this store unless you are 8 years old and starting to play the flute to play jingle bells only
Elizabeth McIlroy: Super friendly staff that will help you feel comfortable and have everything that you need! Thanks for the help!
Sávio Júnior: Great staff...very smoothly guys!
Stephen Parnell: Wednesday, July 6th at Boston Guitar Center at about 12:30-12:45PM - you had a very talented person working at the Guitar Center. He had a Martin guitar that he was working on. I was wondering how much that Particular Martin guitar was. He was doing such a beautiful job with that guitar. He worked diligently on it as well as. I’d love to know his name or how much the cost of the guitar was?
Tristan DeCelles: Decent outlet, but small. Has stocked your basic/ and or general merchandise. So its not a bad stop to resupply on sticks if you're a drummer (drummah) like me or strings or picks if you're a guitar boss. It's a small store and I must admit the drum section is pitiful. Not much there. If you're looking to fool around in a drum section go to the Fenway store it has much more sample/display drums. Again, not a bad store since from what I could tell from my single visit the staff were agreeable and chill.
Gary Luongo: Max was very helpful with my questions and purchase. Thanks, Gary aka Louie Spats 😎
Kelvin Lewis: Very informative personal..
Matt: Love Guitar Center for the most part. As far as the pro coverage is concerned I am very disappointed. The salesman told me they would replace broken gear (in my case headphones) on the spot without a receipt. The day came where my headphones that I bought last year needed to be replaced. I brought them into the same store. Things did not go as the salesman from last year described. I was told to contact the insurance company to make a claim, who asked me for a receipt. Very disappointed with this one particular salesperson.
bzon66 .LoveDad06: Great place to shop And very nice customer service.

Guitar Center: what do users think?
DJ Matthew: I wanted to buy a speaker. I was able to hear it listen to a live before I bought it. The person helping me was very helpful. There's very little free parking but It's worth it to see all the products here all the products live before you buy it
Jose Mercedes Alvarez: Guitar Center una Empresa con artículos de primera calidad a precios sin competencia. En caso, sus servicios son una garantía a mi inversión.
Benjamin Wilson: Brought my beginner 12 y/o to the store and were happy with Glenno's service. Would definitely go back.
Marc Vidal: The Environment is not always ideal to try things ( as it can be pretty noisy). But the team was nice and I found several instruments there :)The second hand part of the store is nice to get good deals.
Frank Buckley: Great experience
Adam Gesuero: Glen-O took great care of my buddy and I on our recent trip to Fenway Guitar Center. We were there for hours trying out tons of axes, and he helped us out but was never pushy. Gave our guitars some fine-tuning, adjusted the necks and polished ‘em up nice. Ask for him when you go there.
Daniel Franklin: Awful customer service! Can't even respond to a complaint after giving the worst customer service in Boston. Don't even bother visiting.
Adam Harris: Great service, good prices, fun time for the family. Some people can be pushy.
Zeus Pedersen: Don’t shop at this location. The customer service is terrible with the exception of a couple employees. I brought my bass in to have brand new pickups installed: I was informed on the pickup day a week later that my bass required extra time and that I was being charged $45 extra for extra work they had to do. Upon getting it back, my bass produced little to no sound. I brought it back and after plugging it into multiple amps we got no results and I got no answers. I asked for at least a %50 refund and was refused and was then told they could take it back to fix it but they’d charge me full price. The store manager then said “sorry, i don’t know what to tell you.” I brought it to someone else & they had it fixed within 15 minutes. As a newer musician, I’m very discouraged from shopping at the place that’s supposed to be the go-to spot.
R Z: I would definitely recommend this location..I received not only great help in finding headphones but I also had a great guitar lesson
Parker Tichko: The scene: It is New Year's Eve Day, the final day of the year, and you're driving to Guitar Center to pick up a new digital piano for your son. You'd like him to start piano lessons this year. You find the back parking lot full, so you decide to idle in front of a garage door that says "DO NOT BLOCK" and "NO PARKING," after arranging for a contact-less pick-up. It should be quick, you think to yourself. You notify the store that you've arrived via email and the curbsy website. You wait 10 minutes. You wait some more. You check the curbsy website, and it doesn't seem to be loading correctly. Moreover, the chat feature, which allows you to "chat" with the store, doesn't seem to be working. You turn off the car and decide to walk into the store to get the digital piano you've ordered. You're greeted by the door, and an employee immediately finds your contact-less pick-up order. He sends another employee out back to pack the piano into your car. What service! You walk back outside, excited to be on your way for NYE, only to find that your car battery is dead. Your car won't start, and it is now blocking the "DO-NOT-BLOCK" garage door. Another Guitar Center employee, who parked inside the garage, opens the garage door to find your dead car blocking his exit. He is desperate to leave his shift to celebrate NYE. He's kind and helpful, and he offers to jump your car with his cable. He tries, but it doesn't work. You're about to throw your car into neutral and manually push it out of the way so he can leave and celebrate the new year. You begin to mentally prepare to call a tow truck, knowing there might be limited service on NYE and that it will likely cost you an arm and a leg. Suddenly, another Guitar Center employee arrives. He has a long, wirey beard, but his eyes seem kind. He offers to try jumping your car again, this time, using his jumper cables. You're skeptical, convinced that it might be a bad starter and not a dead battery. He connects both black ends of the cable to the negative terminals on the two batteries. You tell him that one of the black ends needs to be grounded. He says not to worry, that he does this thing all the time. It works. He's right. Shaken but relieved, you step out your car, unsure how to thank your Good Samaritans. Before you can say anything, he extends his hand and says "happy new year." You shake it. Dazed, you step back into your car and begin to drive to O'Reilly's auto-parts to purchase a new battery with a new digital piano stuffed in your trunk. As you drive off, you hear the distant sound of shredding neo-classical arpeggios coming from a squealing guitar. You imagine it's the employee with the long, wirey bead. You feel grateful. Five stars.
Luke Pynchon: Tried to buy a Maschine Plus here twice. The first time I bought it used, but there were some glitches so I had to return it. The second time, I ordered it new, which cost me a bit more. When I picked it up and arrived home, I realized that the "new" Maschine I had bought was in worse shape than the used one I returned previously; no SD card, missing accessories such as he headphone adapter. There was even melted chocolate on the inner packaging. I was told it was ordered from another warehouse. Clearly Guitar Center doesn't take the time to check and make sure you've received what you paid for when you order a new item. This item is hard to get, and Guitar Center wasted about two weeks of time that could've been put towards waiting for a competent retailer to deliver it. Ordered from Sweetwater who has already been much more helpful. If you're thinking of ordering a large - ticket from Guitar Center, stop right there. Go to Sweetwater instead. They actually know what they're doing. Guitar Center is great for low - ticket items though. If you need a place that can be trusted with selling you a box of cables and a guitar pick, go to Guitar Center, but I wouldn't trust them not to screw up purchases much larger than that
Edenilze Halluch: Show time. 2 foor of music and all you need for music
Diana Rodriguez-Quiles: brought my bass to trade it in for something else. at first the staff was nice, as soon as they saw my puertorrican ID they turned sour. started to say that my ID isn’t valid (which it is), and i painfully explained how the US owns Puerto Rico and they still wouldn’t get it. they finally agreed to give me money for it, undershot what the bass was worth, and eventually gave in to some negotiation. worst experience i’ve had with my ID, they also insisted that they had to take a picture of me for this process which i found very inappropriate considering everything that went down.
Patrick Scott Welsh (Pag): Me and Marty (what I named my Martin accoustic which I picked up here) are in love. We will never forget where we first met.
Nainil Maladkar: The place has a variety of options to chose from and has guitars of every type and price range.
K L: Bought a guitar cabinet from the online store, this store shipped it as “new” and when I called customer support they argued it’s ok because it’s “like new” and still playable, at least to their standards. I paid full price for a new cab, not a display model that are currently listed on the site for 2/3s the price. There is literally nothing Guitar Center could do at this point to ever get my business again after all the bad experiences I’ve had.
Donovan Jermyn: I mean it's okay. When you go in to just browse the sales team will hound you and then when you have money and need to buy something, they all disappear. Literally took an hour to buy two pedals.
Hendrik Gideonse: I made an appointment the day before to check out acoustic bass guitars. The guy on the phone was very nice and put some instruments together in the store for me. I came in to check out the instruments and the instruments weren't in very good shape. The strings on the instruments were old and oxidized even on the 'new' instruments. I figured, it's been a long pandemic, probably not a lot of people buying instruments in person. All of the necks were way out of adjustment with much more neck relief than was correct. All of the instruments intonated sharp as you went up the neck because the strings were too high. I basically was bending the strings sharp just fretting notes. There was one instrument that I liked the sound of, but the neck needed to be adjusted so I could check the intonation. I went over to the repair office and asked if he would adjust the truss rod. The guy said he was too busy to adjust the neck today. He clearly viewed me as an annoyance. He definitely didn't want to help me out. It takes about a minute to do the adjustment. Turning a wrench, maybe a third to a half turn. I asked if I could use the 5mm wrench to do it myself. Again no. This was more expected because he doesn't know me, but I had hoped that it would encourage him to help me out. He was not in the middle of a re-fret or a bridge reglue, but playing an instrument, maybe checking a set up. To me the customer in the store is the priority. It was really disappointing and a waste of my time. I know why this happened. The repair guy has no incentive to help sell an instrument. He probably is getting pressure to do more work than is reasonable. The store didn't have any sales folks on the floor because business is slow these days. But I literally had $1000 in cash to buy an instrument and couldn't get help to buy one. So I went home and ordered a bass off eBay. Now I am spending the afternoon cutting a new bone nut and saddle. If you aren't getting help from humans in the store, brick and mortar is gonna die.
William Boxx: I found the MIDI cable i needed!
Wazir Gray: James and Kemit were awesome! Highly recommend this location

Filippo Di Paola: Exactly what you expect this place to be. I hope they will go up a notch on food quality. Nice atmosphereFood: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Dan Peluso: Decent food but pricey drinks. This place is all about the live music though, and does not disappoint in that regard. Open mics are charming, and the scheduled bands are very good. You might hear the next indie pop sensation here as many Berklee kids perform at this spot. Biggest gripe is that they've recently moved to a reservation system for their tables, which often means tables are empty with a 'reserved' sign on them and you have to stand in a very active section near the bar. This is super annoying on open mic nights, and I think they should drop this so people who are presently at the bar can get a seat.
