Elios Electric: Juan & his team were very professional, they did not rush as to not damage anything but kept moving at a pretty fast pace. They got done with three to four guys in 3-4 hrs, what would have taken us three to four days! They were very responsive, call doesn't let us know when they would be arriving & I have nothing but good things to say about them. They did so well and we were impressed that we will be calling them to move our things from the storage unit to the home. We kept commenting to each other the entire time how great they were doing and how great of a choice it was to hire them. Olivia Maas, the office manager, had excellent communication throughout the process, responding quickly to all of our questions and making sure everything was ready for the day of the move. Our driver/foreman was John Dragomir and he was phenomenal. He ensured that the team worked efficiently and carefully, and we knew our belongings were in good hands. John arrived at our destination on time, and made sure everything fit in our tight garage space where it was being stored. Stairhopper is worth every penny - they took so much stress out of moving. We would hire them again in a second.

Jeffrey Killoren: I had a large safe I needed to move to a different location, and I was afraid no one would be Interested in taking on the job. I ended up emailing Safe Responsible and asking if they can do it. A couple straight forward emails later they gave me a flat rate price (very reasonable), gave me a time they’ll be able to do it on the day I needed it done. By the third email we agreed and got everything locked in. They showed up exactly on time, got it out, and in quickly, and were super neat and cautious the whole time. Highly recommend! Easy to deal with and professional!

Leigh Forbush: Safe Responsible Movers were great! They are communicative, clear and helpful. They were able to answer my questions about moving permits and are very quick to respond via email. Had a Sept 1st move and had to change day at the last minute. They offered me flexibility and fit me in. When they were running a bit late they called and gave me multiple updates. Their crew was fast and efficient upon arrival and really hustled. Will definitely use them again!

Megan Keough: I hired Safe and Responsible Movers a few months ago after I sold my condo with a 3 week turn-around before closing. I was nervous about finding a reliable moving company on relatively short notice, but Safe and Responsible Movers responded to my quote request form within a few hours, and I had my move booked with them within a day. Their pricing was unbeatable for the Boston area, and all of their requirements and recommendations were clearly laid out both in their emails to me and on their website. They even gave helpful hints and packing tips to save me money in terms of the amount of time the move would take! Having everything outlined in an email was super helpful for me because I could use it as a checklist to make sure I had everything organized and ready to go on moving day.I had a deceptively tricky move - from a 3rd floor walk up condo to a house on a hill with tight corners around the stairs. Chris and 2 of his movers promptly arrived at my condo and worked swiftly and carefully to bring my furniture and belongings to the truck. Even my neighbors commented on how quickly they were able to get the job done. My bed frame was tedious to take apart, but they spent time taking it apart and putting it back together for me in my new house which I greatly appreciated. They were very thorough and had me do a walk through to make sure everything was accounted for. The stairs at the new house have a tight turn on the bottom landing which made bringing my dresser up to the bedroom quite a challenge. I was nervous and felt so bad that I didn’t consider this space when requesting the move, but all three were patient and were able to make a few modifications to safely deliver the dresser. The time they took to carefully relocate furniture and boxes was next-level, and I couldn’t be happier with how safely everything made it from Point A to Point B.I have pets who I kept locked in one of the rooms during the move, and Safe and Responsible Movers were extremely accommodating and avoided that room entirely, so I didn’t have to worry about them getting in the way or accidentally getting outside. I really cannot express how professional, prompt, and kind this moving company was. I will recommend them to all of my friends and family looking for moving services - from booking the move to final touches at the new house, they were beyond amazing!
Paul L: After years of trying to coordinate my own moves a carload at a time and renting a truck, I finally broke down for my last move and hired the crew from Safe Responsible Movers. They worked incredibly fast, but kept my stuff from getting dinged up. It was a third floor to a multistory home move, and I had a storage locker to move as well. They had estimated a two-truck move but after loading up the apartment, there was plenty of room for the storage unit, so they called off the second truck. I appreciated how fair they were on the price and how quickly, safely, and efficiently they worked. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing help with a move.

They moved my things quickly and efficiently, not a scratch on anything and they were super nice. I had some misc items (vacuum cleaner, broom etc) that weren’t boxed, and they were happy to move it no problem. They even moved a piece of furniture to the curb for trash when I asked them to.The move for me was very quick, and the final quote was very reasonable and a much lower price that I expected. I also booked only a week in advance, all other moving companies said I had no chance but Safe Responsible replied to me quickly with a time.This review was long, but I just wanted to let everyone know that Safe Responsible Movers is an excellent company, and I received the best service I ever have with movers for a very reasonable price. Emily Barnes: AMAZING! These two are absolute legends. We had a couch to move into our small Boston 4th floor walk-up apartment, and it ended up not fitting through our entry way into the living room. Both Mario and Mauricio refused to give up and tried to get it in several different ways (without causing any damage). Eventually, Mario came up with a plan to get it into our bedroom, out the bedroom window, onto our fire escape, and in through our living room window. We initially thought this would be impossible, but Mario and Mauricio were sure it would work and they made it happen. My partner and I were in disbelief and are incredibly grateful.Even though it was on us for getting too big a couch, they were determined to help us the whole way through and were so helpful and friendly throughout. We will be using their services for all our moves in Boston, and we recommend them HIGHLY to anyone who needs anything moved. We packed and unpacked our stuff, but Mario and his team took care of everything else. All we had to do was get in the car and drive, and meet Mario in Chicago, where he unloaded everything. All of this took a little under 2 days too, so we weren't out of our bed for too long!Not a single thing was broken throughout the move. Not one thing! We had a very large delicate plant that I figured would for sure break (and no fault to Mario, the plant is too tall and falling apart), but it also arrived in perfect condition. I was extremely impressed, and he made this move a breeze.On top of that, we had dropped a family ring on the floor as we were packing and didn't realize it. One of the people on Mario's team found it and made sure to get it back to us. We wouldn't even had known we'd left it behind if not for them.If I could give them 6/5 stars I would, and for our move back to Boston, we will definitely be hiring them again.

I've used The Two Brothers Moving Company twice: once a few years ago from Beacon Hill to Somerville, the second time more recently during COVID-19 from Somerville to the Metrowest area. These guys are incredibly efficient, professional, considerate, and affordable. They wrap your furniture in blankets, tape it all up so nothing gets scratched, and reassemble for you in the new location. They maneuver around narrow apartment stairways without bumping into anything. Everything from expensive flat screen TV to flimsy IKEA furniture, everything was moved perfectly. Julia M: I never write reviews, but feel like I have to in this case to warn others. My experience with Poseidon started out fine, but there were definitely some issues at the start. For example, I was given an estimate that was clearly overinflated - even though I told the account manager that my queen size bed was disassembled, she put it in the estimate as an assembled bed that would take up much more square footage (and more square footage = higher price). Same with my twin bed. She eventually adjusted it after some back and forth, but seemed annoyed that I pointed it out.The worst part of the experience was their radio silence after my stuff was delivered and I noticed they broke several items (including my TV). I have sent numerous emails and left voicemails with several different people and haven't received a single response back. I'm shocked that they think they can just ignore customers (who paid a lot) instead of doing the right thing. I would not recommend this company to anyone and will not be using them again.

When I called them a couple of weeks ago they answered and I asked to speak to claims, whoever I spoke to said they would transfer me there and HUNG UP on me and then BLOCKED my phone number. So they said they would refund for the damages and then have subsequently blocked my number from their phone and have ignored all of my emails. This is absolutely UNETHICAL.If I could give a negative rating I would. They stole my TV, claimed I told them to throw it away, damaged many items, Ignored all phone calls especially after they told me that their truck “broke down” and had to change over to a different truck. Damaged property. They have been ignoring my phone calls and emails the last two weeks. They added a fee to my final charge upon delivery without identifying what it was for. When I asked Jan she told me that it was for taxes but the movers told me it was for a credit card processing fee. Jan then told me that it was on my contract, which I looked at and there was no mention of it on the contract. She then sent me a screenshot of somebody else’s contract trying to show that it was on mine. They are literally sending my calls to voicemail. I put in a claim the day my stuff arrived and I have not heard back from anybody. Beyond frustrating. Terrible terrible company

brittney Hammond: I moved with this company on 10/1. I booked two movers and a truck for what was a very small move. On the day of the move 3 guys and truck show up and the rate increases from the agreed 120 to 180/ hour. Since I had no options I then continued the move. The third guy added no time saved as he functioned to only tell the other two what to do. They broke a large expensive vase. At the unit itself they spent over and hour trying to get my couch in repeatedly telling me it wouldn’t fit while I explained the solution over and over. When they finally got it in, easily may I add, it was again 1 more hour of pay time. Additionally they hit my ceiling multiple times due to lack of caring and caused a dire alarm to go off which my building then charges a fire reset fee of 500$. I have reached out to this company repeatedly for the last 2 weeks to dispute the charges and be reimbursed for the fee in incurred due to their negligence and have yet to hear back. Would never use this company again and recommend no one else does. I’ve moved regularly over the past 7 years and have never had an experience this terrible with equally as bad customer service.

Jenn Koonz: As recurring Poseidon customers, we recently used Poseidon for our two-step move in Boston (from our old address, to a storage unit for one week, to our new address). While the move was successful, and we were especially impressed with the speed and efficiency of the second crew, we had a couple issues.Firstly, one large kitchen item was lost in the move. One of the crew members told us it was damaged, but another crew member seemed to know nothing about it. It will cost about $150 to replace. The crew also returned to us a broken lampshade and said they had sent pictures to their management, who would be reaching out to us. Poseidon never reached out to us about the broken/lost items, nor did they respond when I reached out directly to them.Secondly, Poseidon's storage fees were outrageous. We had the same amount of furniture and belongings as during our previous move one year prior, and the move into and out of the apartments took roughly the same time as last year, yet Poseidon informed us (after they were in possession of all of our worldly belongings) that our inventory was double what they expected and we would be charged $800 for one week of storage. This seems like a wild fee to me, especially considering that other storage units in Hyde Park where they are located charge about $300/month for their largest units.Poseidon has not responded to my direct emails or the feedback I have left using their feedback tool.Edit: After posting my review, Poseidon finally got back to me and refunded me $500. Raising my rating from 2 to 3 stars.

If that's something you can accommodate, then go with Poseidon. All our movers were fast, efficient, kind, and helpful.Before we booked I saw reviews that said some other people's stuff was damaged. I can only speak from my own experience but everything we moved was in pristine condition when it arrived. Note that the moving team were really good about calling us on the day to give us ~an hour notice, but they have to come / go as directed by the dispatcherWe would recommend that customers proactively clarify with dispatch about more specific expected pick-up and drop-off times — especially in the 1-2 days before a move — to facilitate planning.

Benjamin Young: Did a long move to South Dakota from Massachusetts. They are very responsive and kind but a bit pricey for longer moves. Gave us a big truck for a relatively small move, which may have driven up the price. We went with them for their good reputation and flexibility. Rodridgo is a nice and helpful mover. Very open with communications too. Overall, fine experience.
Susan Michaels: We had a very complicated move with several stops and Rodrigo and Anderson from the Other Guys moving were wonderful. They were early on time, efficient, careful, and a pleasure to work with. I would hire them again in a second. They went above and beyond to make the move easy for everyone. The price was very reasonable and worth every penny.
Kathleen Banfield: We used The Other Guys for our move from Massachusetts to Virginia in December 2018, and they were outstanding! Our quote was fairly priced (actually a bit lower compared to several others I received) and service was not compromised. Our moving team on both ends were stellar, they moved with a purpose, packed everything with care, and were very professional and personable. In Virginia, Walter and Devon were super nice and willing to do whatever we needed, which included moving a loveseat to the third floor successfully after another set of movers moving our things from our apartment locally the day before refused to try. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!!!
Mr. F40: The Other Guys Moving Moved us from Natick to Burlington. They were fairly priced, outstanding attention to detail and prioritized being very careful with all of the furniture and other belongings. Will use again for sure.
maverick42a: Quoted 100% markup over other local and national competition. I'm sure their moving services are top notch but I question the pricing model. Did not pursue their services after quote.
Christina Gasbarro: Total lifesavers! We had truck issues so we arrived an hour later than planned and they still helped us out. The movers worked hard and had everything carefully unloaded in 2 hours. We will be using them for our next move! Highly recommend
