chris murray: Brought my snowblower to these guys because my regular guy had knee surgery and the experience was not good. They told me I needed a coil and the cost was gonna be about $185 and that they would call me if anything changed. I had just replaced the carburetor with a factory carb and unfortunately it ended up being the coil and spark plug wire assembly. When I went to pick the machine up the bill had jumped to $414 and they told me they had to clean carb and fuel system which I had just replaced the carb and cleaned the fuel system thoroughly. Seems like a money grab to me. Beware!! Harry never even dealt with you and never said do what ever it takes. Your a liar and are a bunch of crooks. I’ve read all of your reviews and it seems to be a pattern.
Melanie Charette: I've been using this shop since 2019 and they have always been amazing. Adam works at the register and has gone above and beyond when I've needed anything. Not only did he answer the phone before they opened, he helped me out with towing my scooter, and followed up with fantastic customer service. The owner is absolutely hilarious and also extremely customer service oriented. If you're looking for a low-key shop with top notch professionalism and service, this is the place for you.

Private Stock Reptiles: Great place to get parts and service if they don't have what you need in stock they can get it in a day or two. They even have parts for mopeds didn't even know that untill I went in there to get some motorcycle parts.

Lou Raffael: Consumer beware. I never write reviews but after my experience I had to at least get my story out. I called this company in late September to stay ahead of the busy season and get my snowblower serviced. Was told it would be $269 + parts for a tune up and they would pick it up and drop it off. When it was ready, I was told the bill was $384 as there was a $75 pickup/delivery charge that I was not told about in my initial phone call. When the truck showed up, there was a huge banner on the trailer (pic attached) for “free pickup/delivery (Before first snowfall and new customers only) I am qualified for both, that in addition to they never told me about this charge, I thought my phone call to them should be straight forward. Called and talked to the owner, Harry. Harry said all his employees tell each customer of the pickup fee and since I called two weeks before the promo I was not qualified. The conversation never got confrontational, but I could not believe how short sighted this decision was. After expressing my disbelief Harry offered to refund me half of the delivery which of course is a good gesture, but again to lose future business over the other half was ridiculous. Harry then doubled down on his statement and said, “Not to call you a liar” but that all employees tell the customers about the pickup fee.It’s one thing to stick up for your employee, but this was in fact calling me a liar. Either way, I would highly recommend to do business elsewhere and simply google “snow blower tune up in my area” to find someone for half the price and not be disrespectful to a new customer that just paid $400 to have their snow blower serviced.

John Townsend: I called up today to get a estimate on fixing my motor scooter. He asked me how much I spent on my scooter and I told him 400 dollars and his response was to just buy a new one and hung up on me. So if your scooter is less than 400 dollars you business will not be valued here apparently. Seriously RUDE! Just read his lowest reviews. This guy has no clue about costumer service.

Nice guy but extremely unprofessional and terrible quality work.Got an initial quote from him to repair my fork seals, with an estimated time would be 2 weeks. a few days before dropping my bike off he quoted me a few hundred $ more because he said he doesn't do that work himself. which i was OK with as long as the job was completed in time because i rely on my bike for transportation to work...I dropped my bike off and it was stuck in the shop for SIX weeks, NOT 2. I called multiple times and was told it would be done "soon" over and over. When i got the bike back it had a terrible metal grinding/loose part jiggling sound coming from the forks every time it compressed or went over a bump. after driving a week i brought it back for him to take a look at, over a week later of being in his shop i asked him if he found anything and he said he hadn't even inspected it yet. i went back to get the bike and he said it seemed "fine". while trying to troubleshoot i witnessed him extremely over torqueing every screw not to spec, which of course led to him cracking my tree top, which he said he wouldn't be able to fix or replace for months, and told me to bring it back sometime during the winter.I lost hundreds on transportation costs, pointless ubers to/from his shop, now have a cracked tree top from his rookie mistake of overtightening. I eventually took it to another reputable shop who diagnosed and fixed the fork problem within a week (for another $400 of course) and confirmed it was due to improper installation of the forks.I still have a cracked tree top which i have yet to replace which will no doubt cost a few more hundred. This shop cannot deliver on its timeline promises, completely unprofessional and charges charges extra bogus fees for a jobs that take longer due to their own mismanagement, they are extremely incompetent in terms of diagnosing or fixing issues.I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SHOP. Take your bike to a reputable place that will care for your bike and fix it the right way, not give your bike back with more issues.Photo below shows all the times I was required to visit his shop.

Sam Rush: William worked on my 49cc scooter. He fixed my spedometer cable, put a new battery in, put new tires on, replaced the exhaust gasket, straightened out my exhaust pipe, and checked all vitals. This process took over 6 weeks. I was understanding as I knew he was busy, but I had to continuously call to check how things were going to get a similar update of little to no progress. I understand that parts may take a while to come in (only one part needed to be ordered and it arrived in a few days after dropping my scooter off), and of course labor takes time. After finally picking up my scooter and about 4-5 trips to the shop as William would tell me the bike would be done when it wasn’t, my bike ran quite well for about a month. After a month, I began bogging down when coming to a stop. It has been about 2 months of having my bike back, and now it will not even start. I appreciate and understand that working on these bikes is hard work, but I will be taking my bike elsewhere from here on out.After my initial review, William did reach back out in hopes to rectify this situation, which is much appreciated and an honest gesture. Brian Robinson: My go-to place for bike maintenance. I live 30 minutes away and they will come and get my bike for free if it's not ride able. Prices medium. Staff friendly and knowledgeable.
Bella Tuki: One thing that keeps happening at this place is that you make an appointment, and when you get there, there's no appointment .This happened on more than one occasion. We have 4 bikes, and none of them will ever be taken into this place ever again.The lack of professionalism in this place is evident. They make the error and do nothing to fix the problem. Their inability to honor the appointment that was made two to three weeks prior proves how incapable this place is to conduct business in a professional manner.Good thing they're not the only bike shop in the state. They sure do act like they're the only option.

The service department is top-notch, and Frank is an absolute gem to work with. He's friendly, knowledgeable, and always goes the extra mile to make sure his customers are happy. Whether you're bringing your bike in for routine maintenance or a major repair, Frank will take the time to explain everything to you in plain English, and he'll make sure you understand exactly what's going on every step of the way.The service department is staffed by some of the most knowledgeable and experienced technicians you're likely to find and I’ve never had a bad experience with any annual service or emergency repairs done at this shop. They take great pride in their work, and it shows in the quality of their service.Overall, I can't recommend Greater Boston Motorsports highly enough. If you're in the market for a motorcycle, or just need some service or accessories for your current ride, this is the place to go in the Boston area.
Dragon RI: I didn't personally buy anything from this place. But from what I saw took place with someone I know that did buy a used bike from them, I will never recommend or buy from this place. My friend is new to the biker world and knows very very little about bikes. He traded a bike in to them (which they gave peanuts for) toward another bike that, in my opinion, is a "project" bike and the make and model would be, by several pricing guides, worth 3000. in pristine/excellent condition. The bike that he got has been nothing but headaches right from the start. It has electrical issues causing lights to work sometimes but most time not working. The battery keeps going dead. It needs a stator, rectifier and possibly a starter...it is gonna be checked again to confirm the things it needs. There is rot on some of the components and I am surprised they didn't fall off. Many of the wiring is without the sleeves/wirecovering. It looks like a bike that sat outside for a few years evidenced by the corrosion on much of the chrome parts. It definitely will not pass a state inspection as my dad is a licensed inspector and said it will not pass with faulty lights and wiring. Stay away from these shysters!
Shawn Jordan: Came into the store to look for a part for a scooter. The people at the service desk were really welcoming and one person walked me around to show me where everything was and what floors they were on. It looks small on the outside, but there's much more space on the inside. It's 3 floors, with parts and gear on the 2nd floor and scooters on the 3rd. Unfortunately, parts didn't have what I needed in stock, which were valve stems, but the service counter went back into the shop to look for something that might work for me and I ended up leaving with what I came for in the end. I'll definitely be back again! Next time I'll try and remember names.

GNIC107: This is for the Service department. I was in the area on a yearly road trip on the bikes with family and friends. I picked up a drywall screw while i was in Bedford. Jimmy (i believe) at Greater Boston was able to squeeze this traveler in for a new tube in my motorcycle tire same day. Chris the tech was awesome. And also if anyone who reads this knows Ernie, please tell him Greg made it home safe. Absolutely check these guys out for your service needs.

They also took care of a few minor issues that they totally could have charged me for but didn’t.I asked about storing my bike during an upcoming deployment, and they offered to store the bike for as long as I am away for just the standard winter storage fee.These people care about you and your bikes, and I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for good mechanics and good service!

We've been looking for a particular used bike for several months now, they seem not to last long and when I found one here that wasn't listed an hour earlier I jumped on the "contact us" link. Quickly they responded with an email (from the sales manager, John) and shortly after with a phone call (from a sales person, Bob). They immediately took my $100 refundable deposit and I was ensured that I was THE ONLY INTERESTED party YET.I was willing to pay for the bike upfront in cash and was told that it just came in and they hadn't even looked it over yet so only a deposit was needed and I had FIRST REFUSAL.I called the next day inquiring about the bike and was instructed by Bob that the whole department was out with COVID so they haven't received the bike yet. They were closed for normal business hours the following 2 days, NOT THEIR FAULT, just normal days off. I called the following business day and emailed and never got any information.LONG STORY SHORT...they sold the bike to someone else without telling me...JUST INGORING ME. Took 13 days to get my deposit back...it's only $100 but they didn't hesitate to TAKE IT IMMEDIATLEY.The Attorney General and Better Business Bureau have been contacted.DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, EFFORTS or MONEY with any of the FIVE dealerships here!

I was then asked how much I was willing to put down. I replied 10%, thinking that was pretty standard. Obviously he didn't like that, because immediately after, this piece of work (I believe his name was Bob O'Brien) hangs up on me. Real classy. Next time, how about you show a prospective customer some respect. If you can't help with a request, do them the courtesy of saying that, instead of just rudely ending the call. Unbelievable. I recommend those of you reading this to do yourselves a favor and get your motorcycle at a shop where the staff genuinely cares and wants to help.

John Thomas: I originally came in last year looking for a scooter to get around locally and Anthony was a great help. Even after purchasing my scooter I would call them with questions and they were always there to answer them for me. After a year of having this scooter I gifted it to my nephew and decided to upgrade to one with more CC’s (nephew loves his scooter by the way) The second time around the owner Eddie was amazing to work with and it was a breeze getting my new scooter and I love that whenever I have a question or issue which is rarely they tell me to just bring it in and they will take care of it. Their customer support is phenomenal and that is why I would not look elsewhere to buy a scooter. I’m very happy with purchasing not one but 2 scooters here. This is definitely the place to go when purchasing a scooter.

Then I got a 50 to 100 cc conversation and bought the parts myself along with handles kickstand lights and engine and rear view mirrors he quoted me 300 when I dropped the bike off I only needed the engine and turn signal done. They didn't use the parts the guy told me to buy and only did the engine and it's sounds awful and nothing I bought went into the bike and got over charged. These ppm fix it in a tiny shed on the side of there building . Go to park way cycle I. Everett they do it right.. scoot scoot should be shut down

Ryan: They are an awesome shop. They get the work done quickly and efficiently. I brought my bike in to true the rear wheel, and they went above and beyond to make sure the gears are shifting well,etc. The bike rides amazing now. Best bike shop in town. I cannot recommend enough.
Luca Alessandri: they already changed my wheel, but they didn't fix it properly so I brought it back to them , asking to change the piston and also to fix the brakes. I also kindly asked if, fixing the brakes would require new brakes or if would be enough only to tighten them , and they assured me that the breakers were fine just not enough tight . everything for 40 dollars. I left the bike on Saturday, they told me that would have been ready by Monday. by Monday I was in Italy so my girlfriend went to check for the bike , finding out that was not ready yet. no one called her anymore so on Thursday she went directly to the shop payed and left. just on the way back home she find out that the wheel was still broken , no pistons changed and one break not tight at all. so she came back and they kind of made fun of her, then they fixed the wheel without changing the piston ( I expressly asked to change the piston and the 20 dollars were for that , not for tight a bolt) , meaning that they didn't do anything and they said that they fixed only one brake cause the other had another problem ( I still paid for two breakers repare ). I'm very disappointed and also very sorry that my girlfriend had to feel this way. you might have earned 40 dollars but you lost two clients.

Jake Chvatal: The employees were ready to help when I entered the store, but they were also ready to sell me the wrong inner tube for my bike.I trusted the staff to help me purchase the correct inner tube, providing pictures of my existing tire with all of the necessary numbers, and a staff member quickly fetched me one.However, I've come home to find that the inner tube I purchased is far too big for my bike. I'm not concerned about the price, but I took an hour out of my day to make it to Papa Wheelies and back to support a local business rather than order online, and I'm disappointed that I was so decisively recommended the incorrect inner tube.
