Reese: When I was searching for jobs on LinkedIn I came across many recruiters and job opportunities. However, all failed in trying to place me in a position to my liking. That was until I came across a job offer from a recruiter named Kayla. Right off the bat, Kayla invited me with open arms and was transparently honest with the job process. She then introduced me to Rob Harvie, who to me, was an instant go-getter. Rob initially sat down with me and wanted to know more beyond my resume, which no recruiter I have worked for in the past has ever done. Rob made sure to educate me with specific details on how to do well in an interview and made sure I was 100% ready by performing mock interviews and providing me with vital information that would eventually land me a job. Rob and Kayla were super nice while also maintaining a professional persona which left a very nice feeling that these were the people who were going to land me a job. Communication was amazing by Rob, he made sure to call before an interview and right after to make sure I was alright and that I retained all the information he gave me. I had applied for over 200 jobs since graduating and was hearing absolutely nothing back. After sending my resume to contemporaries I received a call within 10 minutes, was put on assignment the next day, and was offered a permanent position a week later. I have worked with other temp companies before but this one goes above and beyond to find a job that they believe is a good match to your skillset. John Flanagan: It was a pleasure working with Contemporaries. If you manage to find work with them, you'll find that their policies are built around frequent and open communication. Sarah and Samantha checked in with me via phone call weekly and encouraged any kind of news or updates about my work. Overall, Donna and her staff are incredibly professional and were surprisingly supportive in my attempts to find employment, either with the company I was assigned to or with my own job pursuits.Over the course of my 14 months employed with them, I worked 3 different assignments. I eventually gained permanent employment with the university I had been temping for. I was paid on a weekly basis (never delayed) and was also offered health insurance (although I waived it). They also offered me many opportunities to work at events to get extra money. If you are ready to work immediately and can follow up on emails/phone-calls, you should have no issues.

Patrick Curley: I've been in contact with Place on and off for almost two years now and we always pick up right where we left off. Whether it's a contract position or a full-time role these folks truly care on a personal level.They are not your typical LinkedIn recruitment vultures and it shows. One of the reviews below is FAKE, and it's absolutely disgusting that someone would try to ruin what is potentially the one decent staffing company in Boston.Place will hold your hand if you need it, and back off if you don't. Joe and Alex are pros. I was skeptical about working with ANY staffing company at first, but Place proved my wrong.

Place Staffing though, they have made themselves stand out above the "let's have a meeting, then we'll put you in a tagged skill bucket" crowd.The folks at place go beyond what it means to be personable when it comes to making time for their recruits and the clients they recruit for. When you're looking for your next opportunity as a freelancer, it is far more efficient and rewarding being able to have regular conversations with your recruiters, to be updated weekly, and to be able to gather as much insight on your potential opportunities as you can.Place cares on the human level, "not the tagged skill bucket" level, about their clients and their recruits because they understand that recruiting comes down to filling a role for a company with a person, note just a skill.

Janet Erickson: We had a problem with a candidate and tried to have it corrected. While speaking with Jason the owner, I was appalled by the amount of disrespect I received as a client. I understand that mistakes happen and I only wanted to correct the situation. Jason started raising his voice to me and was very arrogant and condescending towards me. I feel that i was very understanding and kind to this man but he was truly a cold person towards me. I hope he treats his other customers and employees better than this because if he doesn't, he wont be in business long.I will never do business with this company again after what he said to me. Between the swearing, cruelty, and Jason feeling need to tell me he does not care about my business, I'll choose to go elsewhere in the future. There is no excuse for treating a client in a way that makes them feel dispensable and uncared for.

Alex Thomson: After leaving my previous employer, I was fortunate enough to form a connection with Joe. Majority of talent scouts and recruiters focus more on filling roles and working down the list. Joe made the entire job-seeking experience positive and personal. He is knowledgable in current trends as well as the positions he would be trying to pair you with, which helps make the process easier and doesn't waste time. What immediately set him apart from other recruiters was his strong communication and hard work to ensure he found the proper fit for a long term position and relationship with companies. Small details were a big focus and he was more concerned with meeting MY needs as a candidate than just trying to stick me somewhere. Joe set me up with an agency that I ended up signing on at and still work there today.Over the time we've known each other, we have maintained great communication and I luckily call him my recruiter, and even better, a great friend. I would strongly recommend Joe and can confidently say he is undoubtedly fantastic at every aspect of his job.
Christopher Anderson: We used Place Staffing to find a high level marketing candidate and dealt directly with Jason the owner of the company. He did secure a candidate for us about whom we were initally excited and subsequently hired. Unfortunately, after only two months the candidate (who claimed he'd "found his dream job") quit saying he had a better offer. It quickly became clear that the candidate had misrepresented himself. In addition to wasting money on his salary, we paid Place Staffing almost $20K in referal fees. When we brought the situation up with Jason, he said he was sympathetic but was only contractually obligated to refund a small portion of the fees that we had paid him. Legally he may have been correct but from a business and ethical perspective it was an epic fail. Unless you are willing to gamble with tens of thousands of dollars, I'd strongly advise you avoid dealing with this recruiter.

cv juju: I was emailed for opportunity. Set appointment to speak with a recruiter who emailed me ( don’t want to mention name) on the day of appointment, no phone call or email. I reached out by email no response. I find it unprofessional and waste of my time. Plus I had no idea this company was recruiter agency. Don’t set appointment with people if you can not attend. I took time out my day for it.

Erin Gallagher: Extremely unprofessional and condescending. This agency made me feel bad about my resume and upset that I am unhappy at the role they got for me. I called my recruiter Sarah back to tell her the job she submitted me for is not working out and I am unhappy. She did offer suggestions and when I asked if this is something she could help with she said " she is looking at it from all angles. I am very unhappy at my current role and have been working with another recruiting agency in Boston and they have been nothing but kind and helpful during this time. A recruiter should never make a candidate feel guilty or upset about wanting to start interviewing again after having a new job not work out. This job position is not what I thought it would be and they pay is terrible. She told me it was a certain hourly amount and the employer said that it was false information. I will never suggest Atlantic group or use Atlantic group again.
Michelle Catal: I recently had the pleasure of working with Paul Chartier. My experience with him was fantastic! He was extremely helpful, responsive, and informative throughout the entire process. He made sure to jump on calls with me before each interview to ensure I was fully prepared to answer any questions thrown my way. Elliandria Simpson: Horrible experience! Won’t name the recruiter. Not sure if she just had too much on her plate or just bad at her job. Seems like she only has one client account which she keeps pushing for. Never follows up, even when you call or email her. Got through to her once and she said she had all these positions we could discuss, turns out it was only 1 for the same company she’s been pushing. She then said she would send me a follow up once she submitted my resume, haven't heard from her since. It’s been over a month attempting to work with her and I have nothing to show for it. I have moved on to work with other recruiting agencies. If the other agents at this company are like her, I would not waste time using this agency.
Taylor K: I worked with Amy mostly and she was always on top of her game with making sure I was prepared for interviews, following up with me as soon as she could, etc. Sometimes you find a recruiter and go weeks without hearing from them but here that was not the case.
