Melanie Fleet: When we first started wedding planning in January 2020, I started looking into wedding planners and magically found Kasie at EFD. She was just so refreshing to talk to and so helpful in sharing thoughts and ideas, even before we decided to hire her. Then COVID hit and planning came to a halt, so we lost touch for a few months but would check in every so often and she was so happy to just chat and give advice. So when we decided to just go for it with our fall wedding, even though it was going to be a mini-one per all the guidelines, I knew I had to hire Kasie! Fortunately she had some great mini-packages that ended up being invaluable to us (ceremony & logistics planning) and I can't recommend her highly enough. She helped with SO many things I didn't even think of and was creative with ideas to make a pandemic wedding work. She even helped guide us on how to write our own vows and gave us tips for my brother who was our JOP. She was always just a phone call or text away (and still is!). Our wedding was perfect and couldn't have done it you Kasie, thank you!
Eliza Berg: We found EFD through a Facebook recommendation and could not have been happier! Planning our Massachusetts wedding from Austin, TX was tricky but knowing that Kasie was going to be there on the day to ensure everything ran smoothly gave us such ease. Our wedding was planned to be on the campus of the school that we met at which was incredible but not exactly the easiest wedding venue, as they don't host weddings. Kasie joined us for a site visit and thought of SO many questions that none of us would have ever considered - we were so grateful to have her there with us. Unfortunately due to COVID we had to postpone our June 2020 wedding and ultimately made the decision to elope in Austin. We started the planning with Edna, who took the time to get to know our style, and then we started looking for our venue! At first we thought we would get married in Maine (where my fiancée and I are from), but once we established exactly what our vision was, we knew the right venue was in Massachusetts at Tupper Manor. We loved the vibe and working with Edna on the vision was key to pulling everything together. Next came Kasie who worked with us on every detail. There was so much to cover and Kasie had our back. Ryan Farrell: Working with Kasie and EFD creative was easily one of the best decisions my wife and I made through our wedding planning process. Kasie was there for us whenever we needed her and gave us great time lines for when we needed to get things done on our end. When we started to get a little lost through the planning, within a day Kasie was in our inbox getting us back on track. She was extremely thorough during the planning and come the wedding day she was on top of everything. Three days prior, the ceremony location needed to be changed and once we informed her on the new location, she took care of making sure everything was set up. From the moment I first spoke with her on the phone, I thought that we would possibly use her services for day-of coordination. However, after my husband and I met her in person – we immediately knew that we wanted her expertise and eye for design all the way through! She was able to help shape our initial thoughts into a spectacular wedding that we and our guests couldn't believe. Sammie Ginger: I can only speak to my personal experience with the outstanding staff of EFD Creative. When I was first introduced to Edna, I had to admit that I was probably going to be her most clueless bride ever. I didn't have a 'vision' of what my dream wedding would look like and I had no idea how to answer some of the basic questions most planners ask. Edna was the first planner I spoke with who didn't make me feel like I was an inconvenience to her. She never once made me feel bad for not understanding why we needed to hire certain vendors, nor did she make me feel like I was strange for not knowing exactly what all the wedding etiquette was. She was patient, kind, and incredibly flexible. Edna understood my work-life balance and some of the challenges I have with making decisions. She has this calming energy about her. The day I packed my car to head to the venue, I was surprised how calm I was. Normally I would be scrambling to find everything I needed and panicking half way to the venue when I realized I had forgotten something. This is something that Kasie just does not allow 🙂 When you hire EFD Creative, you will be organized, you will be calm, and you will have hired the two most talented women in the industry to help you EVERY step of the way

Being busy professionals who are traveling often, we didn’t have the time or energy to plan a great wedding. Edna & her team were consultative, creative & helped us more than we even knew we needed. Edna was genuinely excited about our recent engagement & took the time to get to know our story. However, it was her honesty that ultimately made us love her. She was very direct about our ideas, budget & made sure that we had a realistic perspective on weddings in Boston. She understood our priorities & gave us her honest opinions & suggestions on where she thought she & her team could help.Ultimately, we contracted EFD Creative for their full suite of services; helping us with the vendor selection, creative design & branding, & day of services. Charlene Chia: Hiring Edna to be our wedding planner was the best decision we made during our wedding planning process. Having never planned a wedding before, we really did not know what we were getting ourselves into and it was extremely helpful and comforting to have an expert right by our side, guiding us through each step. For example, when we first met Edna, she graciously went through our budget with us. We had no idea how much things could cost! Edna quickly pulled us back into reality and worked with our budget to get us the best of what we could afford.Edna was also a huge time saver. We both work full time, and before we had hired her, it took us two months just to find a venue for our wedding. Within two weeks of hiring Edna, we had booked all of our major vendors, including the photographer, videographer, officiant, and band! No time was wasted researching vendors and we are extremely pleased with all of them and their level of service during our wedding day.Edna is a wedding expert, and her expert opinion prevented and resolved many disagreements during the wedding planning process. Many times we would disagree about some aspect of the wedding, and many times the solution would be to, ‘ask Edna!’ Hearing the important and relevant questions of a wedding expert, who has planned countless weddings before quickly puts any arguments to rest. Not only do her opinions come from experience, but also Edna logically works through each problem, step by step.Edna’s level of service is top notch. There was never a time when we felt we could not reach her. She responds to all messages promptly, even if they are sent late at night. On the actual wedding day, Edna took charge of everything logistical. She was working hard, behind the scenes, to make sure everything looked gorgeous and ran smoothly.
Lacey Potter: What an amazing duo Edna and Kasie are. Both of them have an eye for detail but in two very different ways. Edna has an eye for design and can easily make your event vision come true. From designing your own logo to helping you with center piece ideas. Kasie on the other hand has an eye for logistical details. My wedding party is still raving about the day of schedule she created. Everyone knew where to be and when. If someone was missing Kasie was on it before I could notice. Both Edna and Kasie did an amazing job recommending vendors and coordinating all of them. I truly can’t thank them enough for making my wedding day one I’ll always remember!
Angie Steinhardt: Our experience working with Kasie Blanchette was absolutely fabulous! She has excellent organizational skills and a wonderful, warm personality. Despite the complex nature of our wedding, Kasie found a way to make it all come together so beautifully! I received numerous compliments from my guests on how well-planned the wedding was and many even mentioned that it was the best wedding they ever attended. The wedding involved a large robot in the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception; hair, makeup and nail services for the bride, maid of honor, and 4 bridesmaids as well as the addition of two special wedding games (a dance and trivia contest with prizes for each). This by all means was not easy to coordinate, but thanks to Kasie, I was able to include all these things which made my wedding so much fun and very memorable. She even helped to put up and also take down all the flowers in the church and reception site. Having her around throughout my wedding day really put my mind at ease as I could actually enjoy my wedding day without having to worry about the flowers, where the robot needs to be, or the shuttle service. Kasie would periodically check on me to determine whether or not I needed anything which was also very helpful. After the wedding, Kasie was a big help in cleaning up and making sure that I got all my gifts and wedding items returned. Thanks to her, we did not lose anything despite the high number of items we included in the wedding and the large number of gifts we received. I would highly recommend Kasie to any couple planning a wedding as she is sure to make your wedding day absolutely amazing!
Mary T: Can't say enough about the EFD team -- Edna and Kasie were absolutely terrific to work with! We had a complicated situation: a 175-guest wedding on the East Coast planned by a bride and groom on the West Coast with friends coming from all over the country and half the family flying in from The South. All in 8 weeks time. That is right, eight weeks. Edna was a superstar. She was always available for a phone call, a quick question or a big one, and she knew every vendor who's anybody in the Boston/Cape/New England area. I'm very particular, and Edna immediately read my style and steered me in the direction of the vendors who best suited it. We had an L.A. vibe with a New Orleans flair in a Cape Cod setting. She made the whole weekend into a three-day party. She and Kasie attended my floral sessions with me on my very short trips to Boston from LA, and attended my tasting at the venue on Cape Cod. When we were down to the wire on invitations, her strong relationship with that vendor enabled me to get many orders in at the last minute and with very stylish input. She never stepped on my toes -- just designed what she envisioned I'd love. She was incredible with the rentals, which get complicated: tablecloths, chairs, silverware, you name it. She even asked if we could borrow a small sample of the wares we'd picked, so we could match our "look" to the florals and the venue. The vendor said no one had ever asked that before and was happy to let us borrow samples! It's this sort of personal touch that I could not have planned my wedding without. Kasie was amazing on the ground on the day of. My mom and sister noticed how she held everything together and made it all look so easy. I now realize that's a huge part of the Wedding Planner's job. I can't say enough about this group. I'd do another event with them in a heartbeat. I was sad when it all ended, because I felt like we were all working for the same company. Then I realized I was just another bride!

Bryan Tatro: While we had a longer review with specifics written, we feel it best to keep this on the shorter side. We hired Joe and his team for the “Primetime: Month of Coordinator” and we were extremely disappointed. If you are an organized person and have a good team of vendors and your venue has a dedicated coordinator, we feel you do not need this service. Joe was a good resource to have to bounce ideas off of, but when it came down to the services that this package offers, we found ourselves more stressed than we would have been without them.

The whole team went above and beyond in making our special day possible.Couples use the Contagious wedding portal to track guest count, obtain vendor suggestions, and update financial spreadsheets. Additionally, the portal has a monthly tracker for couples to check off completed tasks. It makes the whole planning process so much easier to handle when you have all the information in one place, and broken down into easily digestible bullets. Joe also sets up monthly meetings to keep us up to date and on track with the planning process.Before I conclude, I also have to mention how absolutely helpful Joe was during Covid. Like so many couples, we had to reschedule our planned wedding in 2020 due to the pandemic. It was incredibly stressful and disheartening experience, but Joe really took a huge burden off of us when he reached out to all our vendors and ensured we were able to reschedule without hassle. That alone was worth every penny we paid.Joe is amiable, professional, organized and gave us great wedding advice! His assistance truly lifted such a burden off of my (now) husband and my plate during the hectic and stressful wedding planning process. Hiring the Contagious team was the best investment in our wedding we made! 5/5 stars!

My husband and I got married on 6/5/21 (our original wedding date) in Boston and despite some changes to our original plans (significantly downsizing the number of in person guests and virtually live streaming our ceremony to the rest of our family and friends), wedding planning was so smooth and I genuinely don't know how we could have done it without Joe, Hollie, & Kim from Contagious. We hired Contagious for the month-of-coordination, but they were consistently willing to answer any questions to speak to our venue as we navigated Covid wedding planning. They were so easy to talk to, were transparent in regulation expectations, and managed all of our vendors flawlessly on wedding day. I cannot recommend them enough for your wedding and event planning needs!!
Sara Weaver: Joe and Contagious Events could not have been a better choice for my husband and I! This year has been wild to say the least, and Joe helped us along the way- giving us straightforward information of the changing pandemic landscape while still offering his support of whatever we decided to do for our ceremony. It was so helpful to know he was going to be there no matter what we chose, and he was going to make sure it worked.We ended up, as many couples have, switching gears and having a small backyard ceremony for the day, and Joe and Rebecca really upped our casual game- from the little things of finding a cart to serve drinks from after the ceremony, to making everything look beautiful, and making sure they didn't add to any of the stress during the day. They even dealt with some drama with poise and ease, and I couldn't be more thankful or impressed by them. I cannot wait to work with them again next year when we have the big party!

Sharon Benjamin: Joe and his team at Contagious Events did an amazing job keeping us on track for our wedding in September. He was organized, professional, and fun to work with and handled some unusual situations with our venue and catering team - an handled them with grace and a great sense of humor. We are so appreciative of his work. His thoughtful and ongoing planning helped us (bride and groom) feel comfortable as we got closer to the event that details (and some minor hurdles and hiccups) were handled very well. Laura Bradley: We are so thrilled to have found Joe and Colleen from Contagious Events! We got married in June, and it wasn't until February that we realized we needed to hire a day-of coordinator. Our venue recommended Joe, and we were pleased to find his company offers different levels of coordination. We opted for the Primetime package, since we had already booked most of our vendors, but as the date grew closer we needed professional help to put it all together. Joe formatted all of our contracts, guest list, and other requests in an easy to use online portal. He was full of invaluable advice and recommendations (since we had never done this before!) and was available by email or phone. Joe was able to jump right in and help us keep momentum with all of our plans. As a queer couple, it was important that Joe had worked with other queer weddings before, as the "traditions" seem to go out the window when there are two men walking down the aisle!Joe helped us to solidify our vision for our wedding, where we were not very sure what we wanted it to look like. He met with us repeatedly and guided us towards a fully realized concept. Furthermore, he was willing to share stories and suggestions from his wealth of experience with weddings. Never imposing an idea, Joe would provide us with clear examples, stories or ideas to help us put together a wedding that was a realization of our vision. He did research on various vendors and helped to facilitate communication with all the various moving parts in the wedding. In preparation with meetings with vendors he would suggest what we should come prepared having thought about and guided us in the types of questions that were important to ask. More importantly, he was always available when we had a random question or when we were getting overwhelmed with the process. He was flexible about where and when we met to talk about the wedding.The weekend of the wedding, Joe was a godsend. He and his team made sure that my husband and I were not at all bothered with any glitches that came up during the special day. He was always there, even though he often remained on the periphery. He ensured that the day was happy and fun, where we, as the couple, were able to focus on our love and joy rather than small hiccups in the general scheme of things. This would not be possible without Joe's meticulous attention to detail -- every single transition was planned to the minute and he made sure everyone knew what they needed to be doing and when. Contagious made our wedding the best day of our lives!
Rich Gardner: Contagious helped us turn a very beautiful but very raw venue, Pier 4 in Charlestown's Navy Yard, into a spectacular Party on the Pier! Brooke Baumgartner: After booking most of our vendors myself, I realized I would need assistance in planning the remaining details and coordinating everyone involved with my wedding. I reached out to Paula and was immediately excited to work with her! Both her and Lisa were warm, reassuring, and professional the entire lead up to the wedding - I felt that I was truly in good hands! They both had so many ideas on how to make our wedding personal and special and totally understood my design vision. I also appreciated how they always made sure we were getting our best value from our venue and vendors and spending our money where it counted. On the wedding day, both Paula and Lisa were there for us coordinating all of the vendors, setting up our gorgeous reception room, and solving last minute challenges. Kristin Kelleher: Incredible experience with Corinthian Events! Transitioning events from in-person to online (due to the pandemic) is challenging. We were looking for an events company that was tech-savvy to help us with three hours of online programming; two keynotes, three panels, and a mix of pre-recorded and live content. Corinthian more than delivered! With all of the technical elements and the prep-calls with high-level politicians and CEOs, I am so glad we ended up partnering with Corinthian Events.
