M: Love love this place! Family owned & operated here in Boston's Chinatown for over 40 years. They have an excellent selection of fabrics--tons of quality silks & brocades--but also more mid-range-to-affordable cottons & polyesters as well. I came here to source some items for an art project in which I specifically needed some metallic and shiny fabrics that were highly pigmented & they did not fall short. While they cater to Asian textiles, I found what I needed and at a very good value. The store isn't very big and do not count on them carrying other sewing accessories such as needles/scissors/etc. but all in all I was ecstatic to see such a unique selection in a locally owned business (places that are sadly becoming harder and harder to find). The service was excellent and the employee who helped us was extremely friendly. Pro-tip: their hours posted are not set in stone and might vary here & there so be sure to give them a call before heading down to confirm they're open. I was there on a Sunday afternoon during a holiday week. Go support this business! You will not be disappointed.

Yisha Chen: I have a project to get some fabrics here. People in the shop are very helpful for selecting fabrics. 1 yard and above. no swatch provided. Many Asian style fabrics and normal fabrics. I bought cotton(the cheapest type $6), french satin, chiffon, lino porfino, tweed etc 6-8 different colors and materials for 1 yard. costed me 51 dollars which is really not bad in boston area. There are expensive ones like $15 per yard which were not necessary for my project, but those are really nice fabrics. .

wade blevins: Although I was nervous about going because of the reviews, it was near my hotel, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I found the people to be extremely nice and friendly and I like the fact that it's not a chain, but a simple mom and pop store. I'd definitely recommend it!
Patty Terra: If you're looking for a fabric store filled with polyester, lace, and Asian print fabrics--then this is the store for you. Although one of the employees was pleasant, the store seemed dumpy and dirty, and the fact that you have to be buzzed in and buzzed out made me feel like the location is sketchy. There were no visible notions--thread, needles, etc., but they do have jewelry. All along the back wall. Of a fabric store.

I said the mask mandate has been lifted by the big boss, Joe Biden, President. She said, "I'm the big boss here and don't come back if you don't want to follow the rules." I told her to speak to her boss because they were no longer required. She said, "I'm the boss here." Luckily another woman helped me. I put on a mask but I did not like the big confrontation. I had my vaccination and booster proof in my bag. They need to keep up with the news. Things have changed now. Don't lose good customers from nasty bosses.

Dave Gruber: Both quality and Manufacturing mistakes, very slow in resolving them. They require 100% payment up front, so they got all their money and I’m left with sofas that have both functional and esthetic defects. After weeks of trying to get them resolved, I still have no resolution in sight. Update: Kravet has agreed to replace the sofas with new ones. This makes me happy.
