Alden Castle: A Longwood Venue: what do users think?
Stephen Whiting: What a unique venue in an unassuming place. It's right in the heart of Brookline next to a park, but when you step inside you just have to let out an audible, "WOW". As a wedding photographer I love photographing here. They have recently given Alden a refresh and it's even more stunning now. First of all, it's a Longwood Venue so of course you'll be treated so well by the amazing staff, and the food will have your guests talking for days after. There's just no other venue like this around Boston, definitely one of my favorites!
Irina Constantin: Looks nice. High end expensive location and housing. Concierge services. Near Longwood hospitals and all that Beookline has to offer.
Just G: Company outing here. Valet parking. Had a veg meal option. Which was real good. Little pricy. But expected
Duper Pallotta: I was there for a wedding so it was amazing. Would recommend.
Angel Alba: Is beautiful lovely and elegant venue for a wonderful wedding reception.
Rachel Hancock: My husband and I had our reception here a year and half ago and they decided to do a dramatic decor change after I signed the contract. I found out only a couple months before my wedding and had to follow through with it, I was livid. They decided to white wash and paint all the original stained wood, and that put a bunch of obnoxious carpets and wallpaper on the floor and walls. The food was ok but nothing special, the house cake is gross and I ended up getting my own wedding cake. Parking is a nightmare and the staff, especially Courtney and Amanda are wicked fake and condescending. I would definitely seek out other venues!!
D Roseau: I’ve passed by this place almost everyday. To my surprise it was a gem inside. Attending a wedding which the venue gave off a vibrant vibe, that is instagram ready.
Lynne Reznick Photography: Absolutely a joy to work with Candice and the whole team at Alden Castle for the lovely wedding of C & S! Beyond the room looking absolutely amazing, the team is kind, helpful, and genuinely a joy to work with. Loved this day and love this beautiful venue!
Wayne Tonkins: Beautiful venue, excellent food! Will gladly attend weddings here again!
Brendan Collins: Went to an amazing wedding there.
Abhishek Master: We had our office holiday party here and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was also good.
Carlos Alberto Castaneda Veira: Not so big, but so cool to be there
Juliana Osborne: I had a wonderful service award reception there
Leigh Ann Mesiti Caulfield: We could not have been more thrilled with Alden Castle for hosting our wedding earlier this month. Candice was an amazing coordinator to work with- super professional and the kindest human. She really made sure all the details were taken care of and was quick to respond throughout the process. Alden Castle ended up being the perfect space for our wedding- beautiful venue, excellent food, friendly/helpful staff, and overall smooth execution on the day of. Would highly recommend to anyone!
William Villa: Food was delicious. Pay for parking was unexpected.
Debby Diabetes: Had my friend's funeral there. Beautiful place. 😍💓💔
Janel Brice: Maybe I don't know!
Emanuel Cole: We had a wonderful experience with the Alden Castle: A Longwood Venue team. We do not live in California but we wanted to get married there so we booked everything remotely. That kind of situation can be anxiety inducing but the Alden Castle team put me at ease. We booked the Romantic special that included the marriage license, officiant and photographers at a remote location. We arrived in L.A. the morning before the ceremony to fill out the license paperwork. We got married at a friend's house in the valley. The next day the officiant and photographers were on time and very professional. The resulting pictures were fantastic. Overall a great experience. I highly recommend this service.
Alexey A. Vepritskiy: Very pretentious place, but in fact, leaves much to be desired. No guest parking, for one... Uninviting, rather gloomy inside... Food is not bad, but unimpressive.
Dibyendu Banerjee: Now place
Greg Ludlow: Attended a business dinner. Impressed with the place!

Warehouse XI - Boston Event Space: what do users think?
Arts District Boston: Some of the coolest nightlife in Boston. Turning this warehouse into a happening spot did a great service to the community! This is a fun, family owned space to rent out. The DJs and artwork have always been awesome! Thank you, Warehouse XI!
Jennifer M.: We had our wedding here. The venue is amazing, Peggy was incredible to work with. We loved the simplicity and the DIY potential here. We highly recommend this venue for everyone!!
Mark Davidson Photography: I recently photographed a wedding at Warehouse IX in Somerville, Massachusetts, and it was exceptional. The wedding planner was outstanding, and the staff exceeded all expectations. The events ran smoothly and efficiently, leaving a lasting impression on guests. The facilities are stunning, and the catering was exceptional. I highly recommendMy Warehouse IX if you want a wedding venue near Boston.
Jason 1802128: Went to the Lemon Haze budtender party here. Great event space.
Scott Gonyer: Amazing Venue space!!! The owner is extremely friendly and positive! Lots of good vibes! Thank you Warehouse XI
skippy n: Really cool space. Very chill.
Chandra Batra: So many excellent memories.I love this space
Donal Waide: Peggy knows her stuff
Random Someone: Nice little venue. The owner is very kind.I would definitely consider this place for an event.
Victoria Cassierra Plummer-Bastien: Nice and atmospheric. Definitely a good event space for those who are arty, and with the new T stop that just opened, it's now very accessible.
Jenn Arias: Great space to make your own for any setup.
Autumn HallowEve: Went here for the LGBTQ+ Holiday market and had a great time! They had snacks, beverages, and a lot of local artists and creators.
Brittany Torelli: Peggy and the team at Warehouse XI were excellent to work with. We loved the way that the venue could be customized to be exactly what we were looking for- it exceeded our expectations and was wonderful the day of! It is a venue we would for sure recommend to couples looking for a unique space to hold their special day!
Meghann Ackerman: The ultimate blank slate for your event. We had so much freedom to decorate the way we wanted to and were able set the ambiance we wanted.
Brian Perry: They took a $13k wedding deposit from my daughter a month before the pandemic hit in late 2019. Closed the venue due to Covid restrictions a few months later, daughter delayed wedding for several months and finally had a small ceremony at our house. Warehouse XI still refuses to refund any of her money saying “its written in their contract.” The wedding planner, caterer and every other deposit we made got refunded except this venue. Proceed with caution with this place!
Doug Griffin: Awesome! Terrific small venue location. Ideal for a wedding with close family. Check it out!
Nicole Pearce: I rented the space at Warehouse XI in 2018 for a three-day workout video shoot. I arrived the morning of the first day and the space was a complete mess. It hadn't been cleaned up following a previous event there and the floor was littered with empty cups and other party debris. The heat was also broken so it was freezing. They sent in someone to fix the heat, but this was a video shoot—having a technician bang on the HVAC while trying to record audio was a disaster. The owners were very apologetic for this and offered to refund me the first day of the shoot, which I thought was fair. However, when I followed up with them about the refund, my emails went ignored and I was never refunded. Just completely unprofessional from start to finish.
Timothy Currier: Not worth the hype. No parking, run down, and the electrical breaker kept tripping while we were there. I had to reset it. Dirty.
Kevin Coyle: Great venue. Boston Hempire sells CBd products and has a podcast and event here recently..spacious , parking is okay but it's a beautiful facility
mona sa: I was here for a networking event and it's a really lovely space.
Court Noyes: Sofar!

The Liberty, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Boston: what do users think?
Erin C: Meh and you will starve. Only option for room service is to call operator at front desk. Then, they lose your order and you wait hours for food. Menu not great and WAY behind times with no allergy free options. Cool when it opened muh-may-b but it’s a has been. Starve like your in jail. Woooohooo
Mona Polprasert: Nice for hanging out for the weekend. There's a DJ on Friday Saturday night.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Riley Blizard: I have stayed here at the Liberty Hotel several times. The most recent but terrible experience happened to be a long stay. The day we checked in the front desk personnel notified us that we were upgraded to a suite because of our titanium elite status. Well the room was on the main level over the loading dock area that was very loud. The main issue was that the toilet would start bubbling up whatever the rooms above us were putting down there shower or bathtub or toilet drains. One day we woke up after contacting the front desk that the toilet was bubbling up and yellowish colored suds were developing and pouring on to the bathroom floor. They came and fixed the toilet and told me not to worry it wouldn’t happen again. Well less than 12 hours later, that night the same issue but this time even worse there was so much water and other disgusting unsanitary matter on the floor I asked them to come again for the fourth time on day 3 of my stay. This time I was notified by a maintenance staff member that this had been a known issue for this room recently and that he even was surprised they put anyone in the room. I demanded the front desk to change rooms. I was denied as they said the hotel was at full occupancy. I asked for them to make accommodations for me else where and yet again I was still denied. They told me it was their busiest night. There firm Many hours later still no resolution other than the maintenance person being in my room trying to snake the toilet for 2-3 hours straight being in the room until just past 11:00 PM trying different things. He thought he had fixed it. I had asked the front desk to have all new towels brought and for someone to clean the floor as I it smelt from the overflow and I felt was unsanitary. They said they sent someone but I clearly could tell no one had come other than the new towels but the used ones were still there. The very next morning the same issue at 7:00 AM. I finally couldn’t handle it anymore. I went to the front desk and spoke with a different manager that next morning. He stated he could switch rooms for me and it wouldn’t be an issue. He said to give him until 11:00 AM to switch the room and I asked that he make note of this on my file as I have pictures along with videos of what took place. He stated he was sorry and that the manager the previous night could’ve moved me to another room but chose not too. This was beyond appalling and disgusting. I was really disappointed by the front desk staff especially the manager the night I originally asked for an new room. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. The unsanitary part was beyond what anyone should have to deal with for a such an expensive hotel. The Room was very unsanitary and disgusting. Especially because of the backups happening from the rooms above us through our toilet.Safety: The unsanitary situation wasn’t safe!
Lucas Guinet: Amazing experience!Friendly staff, impeccable rooms. But what made up our stay was the atmosphere at the lobby bar and throughout their restaurants.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Jenelle Cameron: Stayed here for the marathon 2023. Fabulous place - great location and service.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Doug Dillmuth: It's an old jail converted to a hotel. Super cool building. Really good food and hotel bar. So we were there for the purpose of the Boston marathon. For 99% of the rooms, this would not be an issue. Apparently on Saturday night, the hotel bar turns into a full club. This was an issue because our room was on the interior lobby wall. The room literally shook until 2 AM and the bathroom mirror was vibrating and almost fell off the wall from the bass and the music. Could not sleep at all. They gave us half off the room for the night for the inconvenience which was fair. They didn't do the lobby club thing on Sunday night. Room was nice. Linens and towels were changed every day and bed made and a lot of places don't do that anymore. Towels were Holiday Inn quality, not luxury quality. The televisions aren't smart TVs which is surprising so not Netflix access so bring a roku or firestick. The in room snacks and drinks are not priced to sell. They are priced so you wouldn't dare open a beer. $10 M&M's, $7 can of Coke, $9 Michelob Ultra? Who's buying that? You could get a craft beer and a nearby bar for far less. Great location. Clean room.
Ayzik Kk: Fun to visit, great service and locationRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
David Kaufman: Always fun to stop by while visiting the city to have a drink and see this place. I seem to see something new every time.
Gaby Dubuc: Un peu cher mais tellement bien situé
Ms Berries: The restaurants were 5-star (Scampo and Clink). The food was delicious as were the food and drinks in the hotel lobby. The rooms were a teeny bit old but were cleaned so very well. But my main reason for the 5-star rating is THE STAFF. Every employee from the valets, to the wait staff at the restaurants and lobby, to the front desk, to housekeeping were AMAZING. Every last one of the employees was genuinely friendly and helpful. They were engaging and so very kind. We never once had to chase anyone down. They were all so attentive and absolutely PERFECT. Never in all my travels have I ever encountered a hotel staff that was so world class in terms of personality, skill, professionalism, and friendliness. We asked for extra sets of bath towels and they were at our door in 5 minutes. The wait staff at one point had 4 servers for us who kept checking on us, and they were so much fun. Blown away. We'll definitely be going back. I highly recommend The Liberty Hotel Boston!Rooms: Beautiful and lots of characterNearby activities: Shopping and grocery, pharmacy nearby also walking distanceWalkability: Minutes away via walking from TD GardenFood & drinks: Superb
Curtis Newcomer: Concierge team provided excellent service. Matt and Mark went above and beyond the call of duty. I highly recommend this hotel.Noteworthy details: Great service and follow up
Ruben Escano Jr: My stay at The Liberty was fantastic. I took a weekend trip to Boston in January. The hotel was unique, eye-catching, and all-around an enjoyable stay. The room and decor were amazing, and the view was top notch. Everything was clean and housekeeping was amazing. I really pay attention to the overall quality of the room in hotels where i go: baseboards were straight, door jambs were perfect, grout was clean in the bathroom, lighting was perfect (except for one reading light that was out on the bed frame, but i did not care much for that), and the furniture seemed new.Room service was perfect (had it two nights in a row). The main lobby serves as a lounge on weekends. I think this was rather neat, but overall not really my scene. The noise did not reach the room, which i greatly appreciated.I only had two complaints about The Liberty:The host at check in seemed more interested in the live lounge than in checking me in.The lounge made getting in/out/around the first floor a pain. The floor was overcrowded and it ruined the ambiance of the hotel for me. But others really seemed to enjoy it.I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, and i will definitely be returning. I would give the hotel a 4.5/5. If you like a lounge/night club within a few feet of your room out of convenience, then i would definitely rate this a 5/5 for you (seriously the rooms seemed soundproof).
Kirin Ek: Would not recommend, highly regret choosing for birthday getaway. Rooms and bathrooms were not well maintained, good & rooms overpriced.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 4/5 …More
B P: $20 for a glass of wine to sit in a hotel lobby with a DJ blasting Ke$ha for a bunch of college kids.. Nah, the bar is just a cash cow and isn't what it was even a couple years ago. Drinks are insanely overpriced. Not worth it for what this place has become. The bar is full of hyper college kids wearing shredded hoodies and flip flops drinking their first old fashioned
