Danielle Crusinberry: Contacted them to do some electric work (which would require drywall patching) and hang a brand new tv above our fireplace. The electrician was awesome! He was able to remove the hanging lights and we have have no issues with the electricity or hanging tv.When it came to patching the drywall and painting a different team came. This involved patching two holes on either side of the tv where lights used to be, then sanding and painting it. The reason I gave 3 stars is they did not cover the back of the tv when they sanded. This made it so a lot of dust collected in the back of the tv, including inside of it through the filter holes. Given the electricians unpacked the tv from the box, and then dust got into the tv the next day, it was just a bit disappointing and we do not know if this will have long term effects on the tv.Services:Installation,Drywall repair,TV mounting

Michael Carr: The company installed a total of 40' of gutters and one 4' piece of fascia trim that runs off 1.25" to an existing piece of fascia trim. That run off creates a large gap from the fascia to the exterior wall and doesn't allow the siding to be nailed into anything, multiple vertical 2x4 shims would be required to make up for the gap in order to have something to nail the siding to, this would also create a hump on the exterior wall.Initially Ian Zmud came to my house to review the job, he said he would call if anything came up during the job because his crew are professionals and might see something that he didn't. We did discuss how much trim needed to be replaced and I said only what trim needs to be replaced because I did not know exactly. Ian was great and helpful at the time.The job was completed on Friday June 7th when I was not home. The siding was ordered and took a couple weeks to come in through Lowes (messed up delivery and a special color), by the time the siding started going up (June 29, I realized this issue when I was measuring up from the top of the exterior wall and saw the gap. I texted the Chris, the owner, with photos and a description, who said everyone is on a commercial job for 1 month. I said that is ok I want to work with you to get this resolved because I will have work in the future and want to stay in good standing. He agreed and said to touch base, I call him back a week later and says he will touch base with me in two weeks because they are still busy, I called him 2.5 weeks later (7/29) to review the situation again (after we did a few times via text and on the phone) and this is when he said he cannot help me out because the job is not big enough and I already had paid. This small job would only require a couple hours.Now I am left with a gap and have to find another contractor to come out, quote the job and complete it. I do not feel like I received good customer service or professional craftsmanship on the job.

I am so glad that she did. They were so helpful. I was having some bathroom work done at the time and it was imperative that the roof be replaced before the contractor could continue with his work. It turned out that the job was much more complicated than they had anticipated because of shoddy work done by previous roofers. Still, FRS came in and facilitated everything so that the work was done within days and the contractor was able to finish in a timely manner as well. Rob Shaffer: We just (last week) had our roof replaced by FRS Roofing. We had called three companies to get quotes, and while they weren't the very cheapest, their price was close enough to the others. We were extremely happy with everything they did.First, their salesman came and spent over a half hour inspecting our roof, and showed us close-up pictures of where the worn-out shingles were. Then he explained in great detail their entire process and showed us samples of the materials that would be used. They had recently completed a roof nearby on our block, and I was impressed watching the crew work. The contract was very detailed and described in writing everything the salesman described.Since we had a leak, they came first to completely cover the roof that had the leak with a tarp to protect against any further leaking until they could schedule the complete job. They kept in touch regularly while they applied for the building permit, and got the job scheduled early in the time window they promised. Fortunately the weather was good, and they came on the scheduled day as promised with a big crew and promised to finish the job in one day. They did a great job. The cleanup was immaculate. John Scola: From beginning to end, working with FRS was a great experience. Rick came onsite for an initial assessment and was the most thorough of the 3 assessments I had performed from different roofing companies. Rick took the time to get up on the roof and go into the attic during the assessment. He showed us a video of what he observed on the roof and took the time to speak with us about the whole roofing, ventilation, and insulation system we should have in place. We took some time after the initial assessment before deciding to work with FRS and Rick was consistently responsive to our follow up questions.Once we decided to work with FRS for our roof replacement, chimney repointing, and gutter guard installation, I primarily coordinated with Helton. It took a little while to get the permit for the work due to delays from the city around the December holidays, but Helton kept me informed along the way. We also had to push the job out a few times because of wet weather in January, but I appreciated that the right decision was made to postpone the work until a dry day. Once the work started, they did the full roof replacement in one day. I provided some feedback to Helton about the crew needing to do additional clean up in certain areas around the house and on the vinyl siding. Helton had the crew address it the next day, along with finishing the the chimney and gutter work. I installed a fan in my bathroom ceiling to properly vent out moisture, so I needed this roof vent to connect to the fan through my attic. Mike and his coworker did the install, and they did an excellent job. Mike was exceptionally responsive from day 1. I reached out to several roofing companies for quotes, and he was the first to reply. He helpfully answered all my questions in a timely manner and scheduled me in a few days later. The install went flawlessly. They were very professional, and I'm very happy with the quality of their work. I knew I wanted a professional to properly handle the roof shingles and sealant to maintain proper weather proofing on my roof. They matched the color of the vent to my gutters perfectly, too. With their vent in place, it was easy to connect the duct in the attic and finish up my small home improvement project. When I called to come on in and schedule a time, he said “Yeah that’s fine but I don’t know why you can’t just make a drawing.”So if you want a custom metal piece, not the place for you. Unless you can draw specs for them.

I never chose the highest or lowest price, no guarantee either will be good. How we were treated made the difference.
