Alden Castle: A Longwood Venue: what do users think?
Stephen Whiting: What a unique venue in an unassuming place. It's right in the heart of Brookline next to a park, but when you step inside you just have to let out an audible, "WOW". As a wedding photographer I love photographing here. They have recently given Alden a refresh and it's even more stunning now. First of all, it's a Longwood Venue so of course you'll be treated so well by the amazing staff, and the food will have your guests talking for days after. There's just no other venue like this around Boston, definitely one of my favorites!
Irina Constantin: Looks nice. High end expensive location and housing. Concierge services. Near Longwood hospitals and all that Beookline has to offer.
Just G: Company outing here. Valet parking. Had a veg meal option. Which was real good. Little pricy. But expected
Duper Pallotta: I was there for a wedding so it was amazing. Would recommend.
Angel Alba: Is beautiful lovely and elegant venue for a wonderful wedding reception.
Rachel Hancock: My husband and I had our reception here a year and half ago and they decided to do a dramatic decor change after I signed the contract. I found out only a couple months before my wedding and had to follow through with it, I was livid. They decided to white wash and paint all the original stained wood, and that put a bunch of obnoxious carpets and wallpaper on the floor and walls. The food was ok but nothing special, the house cake is gross and I ended up getting my own wedding cake. Parking is a nightmare and the staff, especially Courtney and Amanda are wicked fake and condescending. I would definitely seek out other venues!!
D Roseau: I’ve passed by this place almost everyday. To my surprise it was a gem inside. Attending a wedding which the venue gave off a vibrant vibe, that is instagram ready.
Lynne Reznick Photography: Absolutely a joy to work with Candice and the whole team at Alden Castle for the lovely wedding of C & S! Beyond the room looking absolutely amazing, the team is kind, helpful, and genuinely a joy to work with. Loved this day and love this beautiful venue!
Wayne Tonkins: Beautiful venue, excellent food! Will gladly attend weddings here again!
Brendan Collins: Went to an amazing wedding there.
Abhishek Master: We had our office holiday party here and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was also good.
Carlos Alberto Castaneda Veira: Not so big, but so cool to be there
Juliana Osborne: I had a wonderful service award reception there
Leigh Ann Mesiti Caulfield: We could not have been more thrilled with Alden Castle for hosting our wedding earlier this month. Candice was an amazing coordinator to work with- super professional and the kindest human. She really made sure all the details were taken care of and was quick to respond throughout the process. Alden Castle ended up being the perfect space for our wedding- beautiful venue, excellent food, friendly/helpful staff, and overall smooth execution on the day of. Would highly recommend to anyone!
William Villa: Food was delicious. Pay for parking was unexpected.
Debby Diabetes: Had my friend's funeral there. Beautiful place. 😍💓💔
Janel Brice: Maybe I don't know!
Emanuel Cole: We had a wonderful experience with the Alden Castle: A Longwood Venue team. We do not live in California but we wanted to get married there so we booked everything remotely. That kind of situation can be anxiety inducing but the Alden Castle team put me at ease. We booked the Romantic special that included the marriage license, officiant and photographers at a remote location. We arrived in L.A. the morning before the ceremony to fill out the license paperwork. We got married at a friend's house in the valley. The next day the officiant and photographers were on time and very professional. The resulting pictures were fantastic. Overall a great experience. I highly recommend this service.
Alexey A. Vepritskiy: Very pretentious place, but in fact, leaves much to be desired. No guest parking, for one... Uninviting, rather gloomy inside... Food is not bad, but unimpressive.
Dibyendu Banerjee: Now place
Greg Ludlow: Attended a business dinner. Impressed with the place!

The Tower: A Longwood Venue: what do users think?
Mat Berg: Un endroit très joli avec beaucoup de cachet
Felix Andino: Beautiful place for weddings
Nicholas Cola: Absolutely horrible experience. They yelled at us for being there 5 minutes after the event ended. One of the individuals, Tom Smith (most likely not his real name) was incredibly rude and verbally accosted us for my girlfriend needing two minutes to put her high heels on before leaving. Could not recommend this place less, atrocious customer service. And this was after over $70k was spent on the event.
Fadolo: ~ Friendly & Respectful
Kayla Boamah: Please do not contact Kathleen or this establishment in regards to planning an event here. I have never been treated so disrespectfully on the phone for inquiring about a gig. I called Kathleen today in regards to a gig and I had no idea that it was in the past. I told her about my background and that she could keep my name on file and she laughed and said, “No, I’m good, thanks,” and hung up immediately. I’m fine with being told no but, her attitude and her condescending tone is what annoyed me. She lacks sensitivity training. If you’re smart, don’t plan anything with this establishment.
Ale A: Simplemente hermoso, de noche se ve espectacular. 👍

9OFS: what do users think?
Bunmi Okunade: Beautiful event spaces and the customer service is top tier!!
Erica Ewing: We fell in love with this rooftop wedding venue in Boston! 90FS is one of Boston’s hidden wedding gems. The wedding reception tablescapes were simple and complementary to the garden venue, with simple succulent terrariums. Everything looked like it was out of a fairy tale. It was such a joy to be a part of our couples special day at your gorgeous venue. I hope we photograph more wedding here soon!
Dr. Böhm: Lovely outdoor space on the 9th floor. Great fun.
Mahek Shah: Great venue
Mika Spencer: When I saw photos for the 9OFS venue online I didn't think it was possible for it to be located in downtown Boston. It is truly in the heart of the city, close to public transit, hotels and points of interest. It's the perfect location for both out-of-town and local guests! The venue itself is absolutely jaw-dropping with many spaces for you to host events. The outdoor area is perfect for the ceremony and even dancing. There are also 2 large open spaces with floor-to-ceiling windows, which are perfect for happy hours, dinner, dancing and even a rainy ceremony. The boardroom is the perfect place to get ready with bridesmaids and the bathrooms are clean and modern. This was the first and last venue that we visited. It was such a gem, we knew that no other venue would come close to comparison. Working with Jaye at 9OFS was absolutely seamless and made the whole wedding planning experience much less stressful. I had numerous guests comment on how amazing the venue was and loved watching my parents' jaws drop when they first saw it. This venue was so breathtaking, I would have actually postponed my wedding a year if it wasn't available when we needed it.
HG corliss: Loved it
Diantha Meagher: Excellent venue for a wedding
Kevin Broomell: This is a great wedding venue with a beautiful rooftop view of downtown Boston. The staff did a great job as well
gabriel desrameaux: Security staff very professional
Charles Benson: Star studded
Toby Ekmann: Small venue with knowledgeable helpful staff.
Aiden Rhaa: Beautiful place for a wedding! I haven't seen any other big, nice, open rooftop venue like 9OFS right in the city. They do have parking garage here. If it's full or closed, post office square garage is just a block away.

SoWa Power Station: what do users think?
Christopher Schultz: Super cool Venue! Great for all sizes of events.
Scott Chaplin: Cool place for an event.
Marton Toth: Awesome stylish and spacious event space!
Chris Hare: Great venue space
Nerella Goutham: Great place with various shows being organised time to time
Kristin S.: Fantastic space for events. And an amazingly clean ladies room! Always a requirement for a 5-star review from me.
John Custy: Nice, but the variety of vendors is minimal (products), not much of a wow factor from any of them. Nice products, but no must haves
kathleen pickard: Beautiful venue. Was here for SoWa winter indoor festival.
Andreas Apostolopoulos: Excellent time at SoWa winter festival! Despite a busy time of day/year, they manage to keep the crowds controlled and it's really a very pleasant shopping and strolling experience!
Michelle Almeida: Wonderful shopping experience at the Sowa Market. There is plenty of space to move around and get into the shops you want. Grab a snack and enjoy the decor.
Naza Haynes: King Tut experience was awesome.
Mark Diethelm: The renovations make the a great spot for an event. We went to the SOWA Winter Festival and it was fantastic. It looks great and the new bathrooms are really nice. It can get pretty busy for a large event so beware of that. I'll definitely be going back.
Christopher Kolasa: Beautiful architecture, wonderful space.
Kayvon: The $10 entrance fee is an oddity for what is essentially just a market. Would rather go to Seaport for their version and not have to pay an entrance fee - more activities and food options there anyways
Pin-Chieh Chen: Christmas market in Boston!!🎄They have lots of stands that sells candles.Mostly are handmade stuff.. they also have some pastries stands and cocktail spots. You have to pay $10 to get in, and they have a huge parking lot in front of the building.Overall I’ll get it a 3/5. Not really recommended but it’s okay to come visit once!😂
joseph alban: Una de las mejores zonas del arte que he visitado, muy bonito el sector, galerias y espacios de exposiciones.
Margaret Flatley: My fiancé (now husband!) and I held our November wedding at the SoWa Power Station and it was truly perfect. We hired AE Events as our wedding planners, and with their help and that of the wonderful SoWa Events Director, Carolyn Longden, booked the main space for our ceremony/cocktail hour/reception and the upstairs mezzanine for our after party. All of the other services booked via the SoWa for the night - bar, bathroom attendants, and security - were all top notch. The planning process with the SoWa could not have been easier and site visits were fun and inspiring. Our vendors were really able to transform the space while still complementing the building’s stunning architecture and our guests are still talking weeks on about what a magical evening it was. We wish we could visit the Power Station every day and plan to return for years to come to enjoy SoWa Power Station events and relive a bit of our perfect day. You will not regret booking your wedding or next big event with this awe-inspiring and well organized venue!
Jack OConnor: Excellent event space. Building is completely empty. You must arrange to bring in all tables, chairs, audio/visual equipment, catering, etc. No HVAC system. Don't rent during very hot or very cold months. More than ample parking.
Luis Deras: Amazing experience, something unforgettable
Vangel Viajera TJ: Amazing place!
Hill Crew: Kindly explain why Carolyn denied a group of INVITED African American, female Harvard students entry to an event for merely questioning why she stopped them while letting a group of white students (that arrived after them) enter without question or hesitation. She told them “it was disrespectful to question her and that she’s protecting the venue.” Why did the space need protection from just their group? Thank you

Artists For Humanity: what do users think?
Bethany & Dan Cox: The site of the last big party I went to before March 2020!We are wedding photographers, and had the delight of photographing our last wedding of the 2019 season here. Little did we know it would be the last big wedding we would photograph for a year! I took the experience for granted, but as the pandemic took over the world, I reminisced about this party and what it represented. I would remember being surrounded by people in the cocktail hour space. I remembered whirling through the dance floor with the huge spinning disco ball overhead. I remembered all the cool misfits outside smoking in the chilly autumn air. It was fun to remember this space and this wedding.I think we are coming back again this year and it's going to be a powerful experience personally, to enjoy being back at it, doing our thing, surrounded by happy people at a wedding, in the same venue, now that the world has some normalcy back.
Steven Guayaquil: Venue is super cool!
Alex Saxplayer (LiveSaX): Nice place 🎷🎶
Claudia Macchiavello: Nice place to have events... the idea behind the whole place is super cool and should be supported!
Kate Wilson: We had our wedding last month at Artists for Humanity EpiCenter, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, unique, and modern venue for their event or wedding. We love the mission behind the organization, and that only added to the experience. We utilized both rooms during our reception, and it made the event feel grand. The outdoor patio was a great feature, too. On the day of the wedding, staff made us feel very relaxed and comfortable, and all of our guests loved the space.
Abigail Adams: This space is beautiful for use as a venue, but also just a magical treasure trove of overflowing creativity. Simply walking through the levels (some dedicated to creating and others to displaying) made me want to spend more time making art and appreciating the beauty of the surrounding world.
Alvester Garnett: A hip performance space with a great staff.
Faith Foley: Great venue for live music!
Phyllis Goodman: Great, comfy venue. Helpful staff.
Frances Lewis: Viewed great artwork done by teens
Sam Ribnick: Beautiful venue for a wedding
Laura Yavanian: Special Thanks to the Artists For Humanity Team as I attended my cousin's wedding on August 8th, and it was an amazing wedding enjoyed by family and friends!
Matthew Wininger: Great people. A hidden gem for finding underground artists and an amazing event space.
Nathalie P: The people and the program is absolutely Fantastic and so is the building space!!
John Camuso: The Artists for Humanity EpiCenter played host to what ended up being a dream wedding for my wife and I. Looking at venues in Boston for 250 people was a bit disheartening until Artists for Humanity was recommended to us. We knew we didn't want a hotel ballroom wedding and AFH offered us the perfect canvas. The space itself is beautiful, I'm sure you could spend thousands of dollars brining in lighting and flowers but it's entirely unnecessary. The rotating art installations are all incredible and we loved the cafe lighting that AFH offered. For our wedding we worked with Kristina and she was excellent. AFH has an exclusive catering agreement with Gourmet Catering which may sound limiting, but in the end I think was a blessing. It's clear that AFH and Gourmet have their events down to a science and Kristina worked extremely effectively with the Gourmet team. Kristina and AFH also went above and beyond, providing us with easels to use during the setup and additional supplies (tables, etc...) that we would have otherwise needed to purchase ourselves. Overall we got everything we wanted and more from AFH as a venue and Kristina as a coordinator.
Whiting Photography: I love photographing weddings at Artists for Humanity. Not only is it a funky and unique space, the staff there are all so helpful and fun. They provide paid employment in art for Boston area teens, and the artwork is all over the walls in the gallery. They even have live painting during the reception and guests can each add a little bit to the painting throughout the evening. It’s truly one of my favorite spaces for a wedding in Boston.
Jahnae Wyatt: Interview in 3 days babyy!✨
Cathy Haddad: Fabulous Venue - My company, dunnhumby INC, held their annual Strategy Meeting here in mid June for 120 people. The staff were wonderful and accommodating. AFH 's exclusive caterer, Gourmet Caterers, provided fabulous food for breakfast and lunch and were extremely professional. If you need a cool and innovative venue in the Boston area, please check them out.
Andy O: Really an awesome program and great staff. I participated way back in 1996 and visit as much as I can. The Epic Center is a tremendous event space. This program has flourished, we need more places like this all over cause everybody loves art and is an artist in their own unique way.
Lynn Julian: THE SPACE: This is a "Green" Space in South Boston. It features sky high ceilings, making it feel much larger,Huge walls are blank canvases for social media screens or art displays.THE EVENTS: Perfect for parties, this epicenterlets live entertainment interact with wall size art displays, all while offering bar service and passed food for guests. The entrance is HUGE. You can drive your car inside.TIP: Drop by their locally famous "Greatest Party On Earth!"This annual bash honors Earth Day, but the date varies.
Kristy Thibodeau: I've been the to Artists for Humanity Center for several charity events. The modern building is conveniently located in South Boston (my home base). It's a large 2 floor open space with updated art ranging from paintings to sculptures to using everyday items, such as car windows and strategically placing them as guard rails for the lofted second floor. The events I've been too have been catered with plenty of room for many vendors and floor space for dancing if necessary, which in my opinion is always necessary. I could envision this space being used also as a unique and beautiful reception venue.

Hampshire House: what do users think?
Brian Cusack: Elegant Boston institution - great for hosting any number of events !
Jim Lemaster: Exploring history
Anthony De Coteau: Had a great time .
Maylee Austin: Fantastic venue!
Roy Olsen: Nice 😀
Neal Hunter: Wow what a venue to see show Four handed Illusionists
D: Have your event here if you want to feel transported in time! Gorgeous setting. Quintessential historical Boston right on the Commons. So elegant. And the staff is so nice!
William Harding: Gorgeous venue for special events. Food is very good, as well.
Luis Ramirez: Big mices around like if they owned the place
Corinna Osborne: Mike and I had our wedding reception there 9/10/22. I apologize for writing this review so late. The entire experience was flawless. Michele was an amazing manager and coordinator and took care of every detail. The food was exceptional. Our guests are still raving about the experience. A true Boston historic site with with an element of luxury and service that was top notch. Thank you Hampshire House for all that you do and preserving this historic site.
Matthew J Shochat: Great time! Always a wonderful and warm place.
Joseph Goodliffe: If it were possible to give Hampshire House more stars, we would. After spending weeks researching distilleries, breweries, and restaurants around Boston, my husband and I finally decided to take a look at more “traditional” wedding venues around the city and what we found with the Hampshire House was anything but ordinary. From our first meeting to the last dance at our wedding, the staff at the Hampshire House went out of their way to make us feel like we were the only couple they were working with. How anyone plans a wedding without Michele is a mystery. Her and Karim’s attention to detail is unbelievable - absolute masters of their craft. Whether we were planning the menu or trying to figure out how to get a processional full of kids down the aisle, they were by our side bringing our wedding vision to life. When life threw us a curveball and forced us to postpone our big day, the compassion and empathy the folx at the Hampshire House showed absolutely blew us away and it was like no time had passed when we were ready start planning again a few months later. While the professionalism and service are reason enough to plan your wedding here, you can’t talk about this place without raving about the venue itself. Perfectly situated across from the Public Garden and nestled in Beacon Hill, you couldn’t ask for a more picturesque place to get married. The library is a stunning setting to say I do, and the whole house evokes a kind of historical warmth and charm you can’t find at any other venue in Boston. We also have to take a minute to mention how phenomenal the food was too. Every hors d’oeuvre and dish was perfectly made, and the staff even went out of their way to label everything for our guests with allergies. We feel so lucky to have been able to get married at here, work with the incredible staff, and share such a cool, historic venue with our guests. If you want a worry free wedding at a gorgeous venue with the best service you could ever ask for, do yourself (and your guests) a favor and say “I Do” at Hampshire House, you won’t be disappointed. Jonathan & Joe
Jenna Carlson: Hampshire House was mine and my husband's dream venue. The grounds are gorgeous; they simply cannot be beat. One of the things we loved the most about this unique space was the food offering. The moment we saw the menu, we were blown away. Our guest still rave to this day about how amazing their experience was, especially how outstanding the food items were. The passed hors d'oeuvre were exquisite, the first course was executed perfectly, and all entrees were cooked to perfection. What's even more amazing is the staff at Hampshire House, especially Michele. We began to plan our wedding 2 years out. Michele was with us for the entire 2 years, even when it was unnecessary at times. The teams is efficient, accommodating and so professional. There was never a time that I needed anything. I struggle now to put into words, just how absolutely perfect Hampshire House is. Our wedding was such a dream come true, and it would have not been possible without Hampshire House!! 100/10 perfection!
Angelique Markowski: We selected the Hampshire House for our wedding, because we loved the feeling of celebrating in an old-style mansion. The ceremony, dinner, and dancing were all held in the massive library, and it was gorgeous. They had fully working fireplaces for our cold November wedding, which really set the mood. Probably more importantly, the food was outstanding. Our family and friends are all foodies, and if the food was bad, we would have heard about it until the end of time. Instead, people could not get over how amazing both the cocktail hour food was, but also the dinner hour. While the space was stunning to begin with, one of the main considerations in picking this venue was the staff. Everyone was so helpful and attentive to our needs right from the start. They made the whole experience as stress free as possible. The Director/Coordinator, Michele Giacomozzi was amazing. She was always there to answer any questions we had or offer any help she could. Michele did an outstanding job the day of, left us feeling stress free and allowed us to live in the moment. We had so many compliments afterwards about the food, the beauty of the space, and especially the stunning views of the public gardens. We could not have imagined a more perfect day.
Melissa Grasso: We had our wedding at the Hampshire House in September with about 75 guests. We worked with Michele G. who was extremely attentive, professional, and answered all questions, big and small, in the time leading up to the event. Her expertise was apparent on the day, when everything came together exactly as we wanted. The space is incredibly beautiful and has a classic New England feel. Gorgeous views of the Public Garden. (Photo by Abi Elaine Photography)
Jim Leonard: Good place, but no room service..
wellmanjeff2012: Beautiful place for photo shoots
roger best: Just a fantastic place..excellent
Keith Blacksten: Fun place
Nicolas Depauw: Beautiful event space. Not sure how many people would fit per se, I have had two work events there, one seated "wedding style" and one more casual just standing. The space is very beautiful with wooden bookcases everywhere, chandeliers, and nice art.The staff was really nice both times, the finger food really good actually, and the wine quite good as well.
