Fort Hill Inn: what do users think?
Isabel Williams: Had a great experience staying here. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Lots of room for our family of 4.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
jace smith: Awsome Place! Hidden Gem. I have stayed at the Fort Hill Inn a bunch of times in many of the units as I am in the city frequently on business. Each of the units are uniquely decorated, comfortable, with a nice artistic flair and respect for the historic nature of the buildings. Prices are super reasonable considering hotels are so expensive in Boston. You can pay like $350 and up for a tiny room or way less than that for a full apartment at the Fort Hill Inn. The neighborhood is a quiet residential area, but pretty much everything you will need is on Mission Hill within a 20 minute walk from the apartment. Super Safe day or night. Mission Bar and Grill a favorite local Chill Place, Go. Parking is fairly easy in the neighborhood if you must bring a car, but great mass transit from this location, so a car is totally unnecessary. 5 minute walk to the subway and a 5 minute ride to the center of the city Back Bay. Blue Bikes or you can even walk right up the southwest corridor park as it is really a nice stroll. The owners Terry and Mike are very accommodating.
John Catlett: We stayed for 4 nights in mid-October and this place was perfect--very comfortable, nice bathroom, cozy room. We stayed in the 1 BR Centre Place #2. We had no problem finding parking. The short walk to the Roxbury Crossing station made getting around easy. When we come back to Boston, we'll stay here again.Rooms: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Amy Drabic: A beautiful house! It was about a 10 minute walk to the subway which took us right into the city. The train ride was also about 10 minutes to the city. We did a day in Salem as well which was about 45 minutes away. The house was gorgeous, clean and had everything we needed. Absolutely recommended!Rooms: Beautiful spacious roomsWalkability: 10 min to the train
Trenna Hillyard: Loved our stay!! Uniquely decorated and well stocked triplex. Easy access to T. We returned our car once we got back to Boston and used public transit and Uber. Terry was great to work with, responsive and very little required at checkout. Absolutely loved the rooftop deck and master bedroom/bath with steam shower. They provided coffee and creamer which was much appreciated. As expected for this type of unit, stairs are steep and creaky. Wouldn’t recommend for anyone with mobility issues. For everyone else it adds to the charm. Would definitely stay again. One of our nicest stays in Boston.
Phil C: Great place to stay while visiting Boston. Easy to get to lots of different places and several things are in walking distance.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Rajesh Natarajan: Lovely site and fabulous location.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Katie Oates: Beautiful and spacious historic Inn. 4 bedroom was perfect for 3 generations of the family to stay together comfortably. Roof top and back porch were nice getaway spots, and the master bedroom and bath are beautiful and quite large (and worth the climb up the stairs—which were expected in a historic townhouse)! Thank you so much for helping create a great family trip!
Che Robinson: First the only way to book is by calling you can't book thru a site like Booking, Hot wire, etc. Thank you have to book for a min of 3days 3months ahead. What about those who want a weekend get away? And when asked fron where I was coming from, I told him local and he kind of did a disappointing sigh. Then was quick to say $149 a night days min. Very disappointed didn't offer any other info just got quite so I thanked him and ended call
Zeshan B: Wow, seriously what an AMAZING place! We had a lovely stay at Fort Hill. The city triplex suite was 3 floors of incredibly beautiful rooms with exposed brick walls, a full kitchen, a gaming lounge, a balcony with outdoor seating PLUS a rooftop! Honestly I’ve never stayed in a place so cool! The owners Terry and Mike have put in so much effort into preserving the original victorian beauty of this inn while also adding sleek modern touches. Like no joke — the master bathroom in our suite was so state of the art with floor warmers, 4 different shower streams, temperature controlled steam — it was like a bonafide spa treatment! Also, Terry and Mike take COVID seriously and were super attentive to social distancing protocols. Their no-contact check in was a breeze. The neighborhood is lovely — Fort Hill is steps away from all kinds of restaurants and is also very conveniently close to the Roxbury Crossing stop on the Boston T which is perfect if you don’t have a car and you want to get around Boston. And if you do bring a car, there’s designated parking right out in front. We were in Boston just for the weekend, but I could also see this being the perfect place for longer term stays too.In short, you simply can’t go wrong at a place like Fort Hill. We fell in love with it we would DEF stay here again!
Micheal Davis: Stayed at one of there unit down the street. Best value EVER!
Linda Swinden: Great location. Excellent clean place
nheinen000: Comfortable, lots of amenities and cool decor!
Trevor Pan: Nice and cozy place to stay in. Stairway is a bit too narrow. In room decor can be a little eerie, but it does give you the Victorian feel. Bathroom was well stocked with amenities, shower water flow is nice and hot. Parking on the street is easy but the location is not very convenient for driving to major spots in the city.
John Ferguson: Very comfortable, with quaint old world feel. The walk from the T is a bit uphill.
P Von: Not a bad experience although you can hear the neighbors upstairs
Caitlin Laughlin: Super nice space, well decorated, comfortable beds and bathroom. A mouse or something got into a sealed bag of popcorn. We ran out of toilet paper halfway through the stay alerted the property manager. There was no service regarding the loose critter(s) or lack of toilet paper. I'm not big on complaining but come on, you can't at least supply us with a roll of toilet paper?

The Gryphon House: what do users think?
Jane Woodruff: Best place to stay in Boston!!
Brian Bingham: Outstanding if you are looking for an authentic Boston residence. Walking distance to Fenway and overall a fantastic experience. Nice breakfast in the morning and the staff is awesome.
Laura Crouse: Beautiful, it was like staying in historic Boston, with all of the amenities of today. Charming and elegant.
Esmeralda Moreno: Great place to stay at
John Stevens: Great inn and. Location 5 min walk to fenway
Matthew Hull: Excellent place to stay for a trip to Fenway Park and the Boston Red Sox. Easy walking distance to the ballpark, as well as several good restaurants, etcetera, to be expected anywhere in Boston. The staff were courteous, professional and helpful with our Boston questions. Parking was tight, but hey, it's Boston. The room was fine, very clean, nicely appointed, quiet, absolutely no problems. I left some photos of our Victoria room. We had a short stay, but it was very pleasant. The included breakfast is skimpy, but nothing out of the ordinary. Fresh fruit available at all times of the day and night was quite nice, and we snagged a few bananas before heading to bed.We would definitely recommend the place to our friends.
Robert Seacord: Cool, old place.
travelignite blog: Touring musician Ben Mayberry stayed here recently after a performance in the area, and had a really great stay! The staff was very friendly, and the room was absolutely amazing! There was a free breakfast in the morning, and the location was very convenient for getting a nice walk around the neighborhood before hitting the highway again. Thank you so much for taking great care of us, and we can't wait to stay with you again soon!! #ignitehospitalityservices #travelignite
Robert Hightower: Very convenient location, close to everything. Extremely comfortable beds. Staff is for the most part very friendly, efficient and professional!
Russell Glitman: Beautiful Victorian in the Back Bay. Large rooms and great location for walking in Boston.
The Popular Outcasts & Genuine Outcasts: I had a wonderful stay at The Gryphon House. You never know what to expect when staying at a Bed & Breakfast but The Gryphon House exceeded all expectations. Upon arrival we were greeted by Teresa, the owner of the house, who was incredibly accommodating, even helping us carry in our bags. Teresa greeted me by name and welcomed my girlfriend and I like we were old friends. We stayed in The Tuscany on the back side of the house, it was warm and inviting with a great sitting area with a fireplace for warming the room, small kitchen, fantastic bathtub for soaking and a large shower. We didn’t spend much time in the room as I was in town performing but the time we did spend was comfortable, quiet, and inviting. The main sitting area in the common area of the house is decorated in vintage elegant style. Above all else we were conveniently located to so many Boston sites. I would highly recommend The Gryphon House to anyone visiting Boston.
James Beswick: I only stayed one night for a conference but will definitely return . The building is really beautiful and well-maintained, while the room I had was spacious and equipped with everything you could need (including a kitchen and fireplace). The staff here really made my stay - they went above and beyond in every way for their guests. The main lobby area is stocked with snacks, coffee, teas, fruit all day long, while the breakfast is generous selection of different items that are delivered to your room (tip: the house-made granola is excellent). There are board games in the lobby area, and the WiFi was fast so I have nothing to complain about!

Margaret Neal: This place is great. It is part of Marriott Vacation Club. We had a one bedroom with a partial kitchen. No stove or dishwasher. Dishes were supplied. This place is in the middle of Boston near the waterfront. Plenty of restaurants that have eat in, pickup and delivery. There is an owner's lounge that has continental breakfast that has a per item charge. I didn't like having to pay, but it was inexpensive. Free coffee was available. We parked at the aquarium parking lot across the street as it cost less than hotel valet. Hotel staff was very nice and welcoming.

Gus Eady: Best Marriott Pulse experience to date. This place is awesome. Eunice the bartender was phenomenal.
Ming Xiao: Absolutely love this vacation club. It’s located near the Boston harbor in downtown Boston. Walking distance to all the happening places in town. The staff are friendly. We took a building tour of the resort. There are so much history in this place. The observation deck gives the panoramic view of the city. Although the building was a 19th century custom house, but after Marriott transformed it into a vacation club, the room is spacious and modern. There are a lot of daily activities that are interesting. I’m so happy that I’m able to stay and enjoy my time at this special place.
heart827 SG: Our First time staying @ this Marriott, was at first anxious, not sure what to expect since we are not staying @the usual vacation club with allThe amenities ,but we would want to experience historic Boston by staying with in close proximity to all the sights, & we were not disappointed! Uber from the airport was a breeze less than 15 mins! Walked and enjoyed the Cafes, The Freedom trails, stopped @ each historic landmark, the City with it’s clean parks patrolled by a Park Ranger too! In the city where you have courteous Local PD pointed us to best place to go for dinner 😊, The streets felt safe as we walked back at night! The lobster roll’s sweet & succulent just perfect with the Chowder, breathtaking views of the waterCobblestone streets that may be difficult to walk on, May make you wonder 💭 back in the16th century how the ladies can still be so graceful with their parasols as they go on a leisurely strollSo easy to fall in love with Boston most especially if you’re a History nut ( like me 🤓)Was a perfect visit during the pandemic 😷No crowds, no traffic& you have A spacious one bedroom suite with a living room/ Dining Area with a kitchenetteThere are no washer & dryer in the UnitBut you can still get clothes washedThe Laundry room is next to the Fitness area &Also gives you access up on Open Air Observation DeckFor Amazing views of Boston Harbour or the Boston skylineThe Building itself have a museum in the second floor, it is the nation’s original Customs Building that welcomed immigrants, the first Americans, as they came from all over Europe, the world, the Harbour filled with ships filled with spices, tea, textiles! The Verb Hotel: what do users think?
Sierra Albis: One of the coolest places we have ever stayed!! We were in the area for only two nights to see a baseball game. The location was perfect with our room overlooking Fenway Park! The hotel is rock & roll themed with so many unique details. Our room had a record player and they had a large selection of records in the foyer to borrow from. Plus, a huge breakfast selection! So well executed with such amazing customer service. Can’t say enough positive things about this place!! Thanks for filling this trip with so many great memories for my partner and I!!
Kris Grigsby: Pretty cool hotel!! Theming is fun and everyone likes music right?!? Location is fabulous to restaurants and Fenway Park. I stayed “Backstage” in on of the trailers and they are very comfortable, great amenities and I felt safe staying there in the locked area so the public cannot get back there.
Joel Genest: Great place. They embrace the retro and provide good service. Very unique. Only complaint is the obscene parking rate, especially for Canadians dealing with the exchange rate. I paid almost $90 Canadian per night of parking!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jill Raleigh: This hotel is nothing short of spectacular. From check in to our INCREDIBLE stay in one of the air stream trailers, the experience was lively and fun.I'm not usually into kitsch but booked the hotel for my 12 year old to stay in one of the airstream trailers. Well...the hotel is the farthest thing from kitsch...it is CLEVER.I cannot speak highly enough of Ella Atkinson either. From the moment we walked in, her radiance showed through. We needed a good experience and she insured that it was amazing.I already booked another stay.
Nevin Marshall: I really enjoyed my stay here last September it’s just a short walk to Fenway
Dom Puleo: One of my favorite hotels in Boston!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Benoit Duplessis: Un hôtel avec un beau décors. Quelques personnes se plaignent des frais pour vivre l’expérience et bien ça en vaut vraiment la peine. Petit déjeuner continental inclus et très complet!
Stacey B: Chose this place based on how close it is to the venues near Fenway. Decor is awesome and staff is super nice. I feel like the rooms are a lot more dreary than what are presented online. It's basically a refurbed motel. The walls are thin and you can hear everything. And getting nailed with amenity fees for stuff you're not going to use kind of sucks.
Scott Greger: This was the best deal I could find when looking for a place in Boston. I was not disappointed! From the moment we stepped in the lobby we felt welcome. The Rock angle works for this hotel. This is a great location, and easy access to transit and attractions like Fenway (across the street) and the MGM Music Hall. The pool area was great, even in the cold with a heated pool. If we come back to Boston, we'll stay here for sure. Way too many good things to put in this one review.
David: With our first step onto the hotel property, we were treated and felt like rock stars. The eclectic decor motifs was a nice touch. The staff went above and beyond in accommodating our stay. Although there is a surge charge for some added amenities, the fee is well worth the charge. The coffee bar, the availability of the bottled water, and the many choices for breakfast was a nice touch. The restaurant at the hotel location, HOJOKO was another great choice. We didn’t have to go far to eat dinner. Although; there are nice restaurants, within walking distance. It was very nice Fenway Park is practically attached to The Verb.Rooms: Many different and available rooms. Some with balconies, view of Fenway, and Vintage Travel Trailers available to stay for the night.Nearby activities: Boston Red Soxs and Fenway Park. Boston Marathon finish line was just over a mike away.Safety: Never felt unsafe. Walked most places within the area. Theres a playground about a mile away, we utilized with the toddlers. Again walked a mile or so to watch the Boston Marathon.Walkability: #1 Fenway is right there, now that’s accommodating.Food & drinks: Many good restaurants within walking distance. Citizen Public House Oyster Bar, Eventide Boston, Yard House, and many more.Noteworthy details: A hotel with eclectic music décor motifs. Like a mini music museum.
Hillary Schwartz: When we first drove onto the lot to park the parking attendant amicable and advised that unfortunately the lot was full but gave us directions for two parking garages very close by. When we checked in we told the attendant at the desk, Carley, that we were visiting to see a show at the MGM at Fenway for our anniversary. Our room was lovely and very comfortable. We were delighted by the fact that we had a record player in our room and that we could grab records at our leisure from the lobby to bring to the room. We had a fabulous dinner at Hojoko and when we returned to our room before the show we found a bottle of red wine, two glasses, a happy anniversary note from Carley, and a personalized 7in record. She also left us some keychains and Verb pins.Food & drinks: The restaurant attached to the hotel, Hojoko, is a must visit. Their food is phenomenal. We got their tuna and salmon sashimi and it was divine. Their cocktails are also delightful. We had the continental breakfast the next day. It was served out of Hojoko by two lovely ladies and the patio was open out onto the pool.
Mia Tabor: I’ve stayed here twice now! My first time was absolutely amazing and went off without a hitch. My second time however, we did have a large issue in our room during the middle of the night. We called the front desk and they promptly reported to our room and were very diligent. The morning after, I got to have a conversation with the manager, He was very nice, understanding, and accommodating. They handled our issue very professionally and I am blown away by the level of hospitality that is shown by each staff member. I love absolutely everything about this hotel and will definitely recommend staying here to anyone looking for a fun and upbeat place to stay!
Duncan McLeod: Finally a unique hotel for music lovers and others with a good location and breakfast. Pool area looked nice too. Rooms were clean. I would come back any time.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Nick E: What a awesome hotel! Loved the heated pool!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
John Butler: It's fairly pricey for what you get. A two night stay was over $1,000.00. You're really paying for the ambience, it's a neat looking place that is styled really well. There is no room service. You pay a 100.00 amenity fee on check in. I'm not sure what you get for that? I guess you can take a record up to your room. And there is a breakfast, but that looked to us like bagels and muffins and coffee/juice mostly-- for that 100 bucks you could eat that sort of breakfast for a week just buying it yourself. We didn't even eat there. The door to our balcony was broken, looked like it had been like that for some time. The staff is extremely friendly and nice. They offered to give a discount on the room for the door, I declined. It didn't really impact our stay, but still... I don't think I'll be back because of the rest of this.
John McClung: My girlfriend and I went to opening day for my birthday and the place was swamped! Carly still managed to accommodate us right away despite the chaos. The service from valet to the front desk was impeccable. I wish i stayed longer just to get to know the employees more. I will 100% be coming back. Already got sox tickets for September 13th, we will be booking another stay here for sure! Thanks to all the staff! Yall the real MVP'S!Side note. Hojoko which is attached to the hotel has amazing food.
Rossina Miller: This is an amazing little boutique hotel. I love all the rock and roll decor throughout and the turntables in the rooms are a step above. The staff are wonderful and incredibly helpful. I would 100% stay here again!

XV Beacon Hotel: what do users think?
محمدمهدی محمدقلیها: عالی من نرفتم شما رفتید اینجا جای ما رو خالی کنید
Calen Riggs: I booked the classic room through Amex Travel and was promptly upgraded to a Studio, which is their version of a suite. Everything was well-coordinated and efficient and the entire stay from 4/24-4/29 was excellent. Everyone here were friendly and down-to-earth for a place that is on the higher-end in the city. Overall, just a pleasant experience and certainly a place worth coming back to.Rooms: The first impression of walking into the room was almost like walking into a library or a museum. The Studio I was in was spacious, clean, and rather opulent. The TV was modern (unlike a lot of hotels in the city), the fireplace was a wonderful touch, and the beds were rather comfortable. The mattress was on the stiffer side, but nothing to be upset about. What was also nice is the fact you can open the windows to allow fresh air in. You don't see that often. The bathrooms were also exquisite, as well.Walkability: The hotel is in Beacon Hill, so a lot of historical sights are within a 5-minute walk. Granary Burial and King's Chapel cemeteries are nearby and The Freedom Trail is essentially around the corner. Boston Common was also less than a 10-minute walk away, as well. The high-end shopping of Copley is also around a mile away and certainly walkable if the weather is nice. The hotel is in a great spot depending on what you are looking for.Food & drinks: Mooo is attached to the hotel and is accessible through the lobby. The menu is extensive, especially the wine - which is something they are known for. In terms of food and the quality everything was great. The Meatballs and Dumplings were amazing. The Beef Wellington, to me, is one of the best in the city. Mooo isn't cheap, but the portion sizes were large and everything was cooked properly. To me, it is worth coming back for.
Green Space: Worst airport pickup ever - 25 min looking for the driver until I managed to leave the airport. So regardless of the hotel (I did not arrive yet) don’t book airport pickup with the hotel, it is a nightmare. One more thing: the ride from the airport to the hotel was less than 25 min 😂😂.
Michael Nam-Krane: I had a huge legal case and I stayed here to be close to the court house. This is the perfect hotel if you are doing important legal work in Boston. The rooms are great to work in. The food is top notch. The locations to all the Boston court houses. "Stay here counsel," is my best legal advice.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Quiet …More
David Hale Smith: One of the finest boutique hotels at which I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying. Top service and amenities. Great rooms. Comfortable beds. Nice restaurant Moo on property too.
A P: I am a 24yo female. What started with a great evening with girlfriends at the property, ended up being terrorized and intimidated by a driver named Valentine Kogan who took me appart at 11PM and didn’t let me leave the hotel’s car service. He would stare and stand close enough to me that I felt he had an er_ction. He’s 70. I gave him money so he leaves me alone and I was able to run away.
Yana Saakyan: Beautiful hotel, excellent service, a lot of attention to detail. Thank you for making my stay so comfortable.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Robert Hofmann: Really a hidden gem. Excellent room and the attention to service is one of the best in Boston. We travel also with our two small dogs and they treat them like Royalty! Its our go to hotel when we come to Boston. Beats hands down the other 5 star hotel down the street at double the price. Also, Mooo! Is one of the best steak houses in the Northeast and is attached to the hotel. Make reservations as books early. Great location, great rooms and best team running this hotel!
Stephen Oesterle: Great hotel. Wonderful attentive staff. Choice loation
ST: We have stayed at this property twice and absolutely love it! It's not a large high traffic place to stay. It has a quiet personal feel. The service is outstanding and in an age where going the extra mile to make guests feel at home is hard to find it's alive and well here. The in town driver service is amazing and the staff goes above and beyond. Thank you for another great stay!
Lisa Boston: I am as well one of the woman who escaped an attempted assault and was a victim of racketeering by a driver named “Valentine”. Strong accent, taller guy, intimidating vibe.I used to love coming to the hotel’s restaurant or bar as it used to be on my way from work. Some officers at the Boston Police are known to be shady and not do much with cases of assault or domestic violence, so don’t think the PD will do anything if you call for help. The police officers are misogynists and have a lot of “violation conduct” in their profile. The hotel does not operate objectively like a typical business. If allegations/with proof and correct descriptions were made at a 5 stars establishment like the Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton (that I know well) they would have fired the individual within a week. The hotel staff is very aware this happened as It’s impossible to invent such details, or a precise description.None of the young women who made the claims are related to the hospitality industry nor are competitors.
Kevin M.: Luxury defined. These guys know how to put it on. Highly recommended. Family and pet friendly as well. Location is outstanding and the fireplaces are a nice touch.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Bob Faust: Unbelievable experience from the moment we arrived all the way to the moment we departed..the car service was extremely convenient and Mark and Valentine were exceptional and extremely friendly

The Boxer Boston: what do users think?
Luka Vujeva: In general, this is an ok hotel, but nothing special. The room size was ok; however very loud and prone to outside noise. I was in a 701 room and felt that room had some permanent ambient noise. For example, you constantly hear an air conditioner, and the minibar refrigerator is very loud when someone is using the elevator. We generally slept very badly in this room, comparing how we have slept in another hotel in NYC a week before. The bed is huge, however, a bit soft, and the pillows are just an absolute nightmare.Cleanness was on point. The location is pretty decent, it's in walking proximity to Beacon Hill and downtown. It's noteworthy that there is some mental institution across the street or some institute for mental health with a larger parking space. Walking there is not feel safe as you will see homeless people and junkies lurking around that parking space, doing drugs etc. But if you take another street, its again super safe. The personnel was ok, but just that. Breakfast was fantastic! However, one person can not serve breakfast for all the guests. The lady was overworked and stressed.Rooms: Spacious, clean, loud and with poor pillows.Safety: Be aware of junkies and homeless just across the street lurking around mental institution parking.Walkability: Very solid location and easy to get into downtown or Beacon Hill.Food & drinks: Drinks were ok, breakfast was absolutely fantastic !!
Enrique Vila: Muy céntrico y confortable hotel en Boston, recomendable. Muy amable la recepcionista, más inglesa que americana
Steven Couture: What a wonderful experience. The staff was very helpful from the very beginning as we changed our plans and had to change the day of our booking - no problem. The staff was very helpful during our stay. The food was excellent in the restaurant and parking was a breeze. We chose The Boxer due to the proximity of the Museum of Science and the Aquarium - very convenient! Met a wonderful server in the restaurant, Liliana. Very professional and genuinely cared about our satisfaction. Highly recommend and we will see you again soon!

Manuel Malle: The hotel is fine if pricey for what it is. Great location. The problem is their parking set up. There’s no Valet. There is room for only one car to park for check in. I had to double park as another car was already there and promptly received a $55 ticket (was there for no more than 5 min). Next you have to drive the car to a parking garage 1/2 mile away. The garage is under construction, grungy and packed. Next you trudge back to the hotel down an alley with a homeless shelter and in my case pounding rain. All this for a $40 parking fee. So if you are traveling by car avoid this hotel; if not have at it.
Sidney Fernández de Castro Tudela: so beautiful and luxurious and service is top tier.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Quiet, Great value …More
Nico Samneil Salado: Dont have a parking garage within the hotel. They have a partner garage with the goverbment and is a walkable distance from the hotel. The receptionist will guide you if you want to avail one. It is a $40 overnight fee. The bathroom is stylish and wide in our room. We availed our room theu supertravel and i could say it is worth it since it is also a walkable distance from the TD garden.
JP Creedon: We were trying to stay near TD for a show, and ultimately Boxer did it's job but not without complication. There isn't parking (they suggest a parking garage a few blocks down but there is construction ), the room was fine but quite small and the single elevator made for issue.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Tyler Conrado: Not sure what many of these reviews are talking about. Stayed here for a few nights and it was fantastic for the price. Big cozy bed, comfortable air control, a nice bar and restaurant attached, and they validate parking at a parking garage near by.Right next to garden too!
C UNOIT: Loved our stay here, was a real cold nite and we got there a bit early but the lady at the dest got us in the room anyways so thank you for your kindness on a extremely cold nite..The room was small but had everything we needed,clean..The boxer was close to everything walking, food, drinks, snacks and td garden was a 5 minute walk ..
James Feng: Swanky hotel, friendly staff, clean. Room is on the smaller size, but works great for those just needing a nice room while exploring Boston or going on business trips
Lauren Bruss: We had a lovely experience. The hotel was clean and appreciated the modern boutique look and feel. Heather at the front desk as so kind and attentive to everything we needed. Looking forward to our next stay!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jón Ferrier: Centrally located. Excellent beds. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Excellent value for money.
igal Feuerstein: I stayed at the boxer for one night. The room was very clean, not too small, not too big. Just perfect for a business night. The stuff at the reception were super nice and helpful! The Wi-Fi connection was super fast, which is an important benefit for business travelers. The location is close to lots of food choices and bars.I definitely will book the boxer hotel on my next Boston trip.
Allison Lessard: When we arrived the woman at the front desk was professionnal and lovely. The room was great but there was noise in the corridor, early in the morning, it woke me up.Also when we arrived we were told we'd have 40$ discount at the SP+ parking, they gave us a coupon. When we left, the coupon didn't work and we had to pay 96$ US. Try to explain the situation to them, they told us they couldn't do nothing about that. That's kind of a bummer for me.
Time and Illusion: First time I have stayed and last, the front desk staff was rude, the rooms are mediocre at best. Honestly it is giving off tourist trap vibes because the only way I justified the price of a cramped and out dated room was the location on the hotel. There was a weird humming vibration from the room above me and the beds are hard. You can get the same deals with better rooms and amenities somewhere else.
David Gallant: Nice, clean and updated, Great for a short stay!!Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Graham Hawthorne: Mediocre Hotel. Tiny rooms, windows don't open, mechanical ventilation only works if you use heating or cooling, no perceivable ventilation in bathroom - all of which adds up to the room getting pretty stuffy and smelly if you don't want to use climate control. There was a very loud low frequency hum that occurred intermittently - bad enough to prohibit sleep. I think it might have been the fridge or ventilation in the next room over - sign of a cheapo renovation / thin walls / lack of proper insulation. Also - one tiny elevator for an 8 story hotel, which the staff uses much of the time. Laborious when you're coming and going.

Hyatt Regency Boston: what do users think?
Hilda Mendoza: Is good for a quick stay, but for me and family did not work. We didn't have a few things which I did not read, for example room service, the pool, and slippers.
Lisa Tibbetts: Upon arrival the front desk realized I'm a valued customer of 7 years and upgraded my room to a suite and offered me late check out - which definitely came in handy. The room was clean and offered complimentary water for me and my guest. If I had a question they had the answer! I'll definitely be staying here again.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Silvio Delgado: Hotel is very well placed and good part of personnel is quite nice. Room is quite spacious and was clean when arrived. Guest service is not good. Reception people think they are gods. For you only the rules. Very low valeu for money. Not enough features to compensate. Breakfast not included. No room service. How could at this level of price they don’t clean your room? Or don’t offer you a spoon if you ask for it? I heard from the team here and I experienced here: “we do not clean unless you asked.” Terrible experience with Hyatt.
David Bobrowsky: Loved the hotel and the staff were friendly and helpful. My only issue is that the hotel had a pool listed when we booked our reservation but it turns out that the pool has not been working since COVID and will not be returning. When I complained I received an email response from the Hyatt Regency Boston Assistant Front Office Manager and he said "... we have taken down all references and ads regarding the pool from our website to ensure that our guests have accurate information about our amenities. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused if you were expecting to use the pool during your stay." This did not help those who made a reservation before they took down the reference to it. Would I stay here again, absolutely! Was I disappointed yes, but I will get over it.Walkability: Centrally located in downtown Boston, did not take our car out of the garage from the time we arrived till we departed.
Cathy Montoya: Beautiful rooms, very clean. Very helpful staff. We especially liked the doorman- Orcho! He was very helpful, and fun to talk to! The only suggestion I have is an extra towel bar above the toilet instead of a picture, other than that it was perfect.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value …More
Madeline Hsu: 在市區中心,周遭百貨、餐廳林立,還有7-11便利店,離地鐵也不遠,最重要的有一個可久留參觀的波士頓公園。是來波士頓休息的好地方。

h82steal Yathunda: One of the best value in Boston for your money! Large rooms, great City view,! very comfortable beds edit last stayed multiple times 2022. Rooms were 150 more than before on average starting to look run down and lots of homeless in and around the building!
Kelly Ertmoed: We really enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Regency. It's location worked well for us. It's only a few blocks off the freedom trail and the commons. There are lots of food options nearby and the walk to Quincy Market area is easy and safe, even at night. We are in Chinatown one night...just two blocks away and it was delicious! The staff at the Hyatt were really nice and friendly. The concierge was very helpful. We took the redline T to Harvard and easily used the Downtown Crossing station nearby. We walked from TD Garden back to the hotel in about 20 minutes. North end was a 15 minute walk. Beds were very comfortable. I wish the rooms were a little cooler and we could use the AC even in March but that wasn't the case. We had our windows open the entire trip to cool the room. Overall, we loved this hotel and would recommend it.

The Bostonian Boston: what do users think?
Cecilia S: Rooms were nice, nothing nasty and mostly clean. Wall paper was peeling off but it's old!! Had a great view with a balcony. Very centrally located. For the little amount of time in the room, it was satisfactory, needs remodel and more lighting in the waiting lounge area. Its a 3 star hotel for $387/ night (crazy) . The Bathroom on #7th floor had mold. Beds were pretty comfy. I only saw the receptionist so can't comment on staff?!
Joseph Booth: Check-in and check-out was quick and easy. The room was clean and comfortable. The views from the balcony was beautiful. Great location. I had zero complaints.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Quiet …More
Doc Randolph: There is a $25 Destination Fee at this property that was not disclosed until bill was closing out. Noisey street if facing the “historic view”Rooms: Clean - spacious - good room service menu

Dvitag123 Taggers: Been staying for the last 11 yrs WILL NEVER RETURN. Room was dirty , service was awful. Anything that is painted was chipping
Mike Stugard: Breakfast wasnt horrible but happy we didn't have dinner... Room was not dusted in a bit, luke warm shower, elevator out like stated in a 12/2022 review, balcony was nice, TV mostly worked and the room fridge looked like it had been on a construction site... Elizabeth T: The hotel rooms need a serious upgrade:- I found 2 ants on my bed when I arrived (see video)- the ceiling paint is peeling- the vanity is way too small. No room for more than 2 toothbrushes and 1 very small makeup bag. No room for more- the bathtub is too wide and too high. Risk of falling- the tub floor is stained with accumulated filth- the 80's is screaming to get their beige toilet back! It's completely out of style.- the shower head is worn and some jets are projecting water all over- the room floors are still covered with old carpet. Updated hotels use combination of wood and tile- the view was awful- some windows clearly needed to be replaced- the hotel is quite ordinary. My traveling partner was stunned when I mentioned this hotel was rated 4-stars. He thought it was a 3-star hotel. The lobby is the prettiest thing in the hotel. It only goes down from there. The elevators are quite fast. We never waited long at all.Great service from staff. The neighborhood is incredibly noisy. Be ready to hear music and beats until 2-3 am.Nearby activities: The hotel is Centrally located. So there's tons to do and easy accessSafety: Very safe neighborhoodWalkability: Walkable to everywhere
Rohit Chimata: Amazing area of Boston to be in if you care at all about being central to things that are happening. Hotel is clean, rooms are very nice and the balcony views here you won’t get anywhere else. Not to mention front desk service was impeccable. All of my needs/questions handled with care and speed. Definitely my hotel of choice in Boston going forward.Rooms: Balcony views are impeccable. Rooms are standard as you’d find but very well thought out. Large bathrooms!Nearby activities: Boston market, Quincy market, Faneuil hall, aquarium and so so much moreSafety: Very safe hotel in a very safe part of Boston. The north end is known for being tourist central and this is exactly that.Walkability: You’re in the northend. Shops, good food, department store - all extremely close by walk. No Uber needed
Ashley Weithers: This is a great Hotel to stay. The front desk staff is very helpful. Room service is amazing. I will definitely come back. Loved the history of Boston and this hotel is close to everything you need to see. All museums, statues and visiting sites (historical) are with in walking distance. I’m super glad I picked here. See you soon Bostonian !Rooms: BalconyWalkability: Everything is within 1-10 minute walk. No need to drive and use car constantlyFood & drinks: AmazingThe restaurant has wonderful food
Thorsten Ruppert: Tolle Lage in Boston, schönes Zimmer.
José Ibarra: I recommend against doing business with this hotel. I tried to book a reservation and I received an error/declined message and no confirmation of booking. I made other plans, only to have them charge me $700 for a missed booking today. When I contacted them, Lina from Reservations was extremely hostile. She refused to do anything. This has caused me a big headache and I hope you can avoid the same.
Chloe Lee: I was using the bathroom some kid peeks under and starts saying "ewwwww you smell!" i didn't get into argument so i just told why. IT WAS THE TACO BELL! IM TELLING YOU IT IS THE BEEF TACO WITH TOMATO SAUCE. DON'T RECOMMEND!!!Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More

Alexis Yohros: As a guest who recently stayed at the Bostonian Hotel, I must say that my experience was subpar, to say the least. The first issue we encountered was that the rooms had a very unpleasant, musty smell that was quite off-putting. Additionally, we found that the air conditioning unit in our room was not functioning correctly. When the unit did finally turn on, it was incredibly loud and disturbed our sleep.Another problem we encountered was with the size of the beds in our room. The beds were extremely small and could not comfortably accommodate two people, making for a very uncomfortable night's sleep. The walls of the room were also very thin and did very little to block out the sounds coming from the neighboring rooms. We were able to hear people having intercourse and using the bathroom, which was incredibly concerning and made for a very uncomfortable stay. The shower in the room was yet another source of frustration. It took an incredibly long time for the water to heat up, and once it did, there was not much pressure at all. Additionally, we found it unacceptable that the hotel charged extra for any amenities. The most disappointing aspect of our stay at the Bostonian was the lack of assistance provided by the front desk. We requested a different room but were refused and were not offered any type of refund when we decided to leave and stay at a different hotel. The lack of attention paid to our needs left us feeling undervalued and made for a very frustrating experience. In summary, while the location of the Bostonian Hotel was convenient, our stay was dampened by numerous unpleasant factors. The musty odor, loud air conditioning, uncomfortable beds, lack of privacy, poor shower condition, and lack of amenities, coupled with the subpar customer service, made our stay at the Bostonian not worth the price. I cannot recommend this hotel and would suggest finding alternative accommodation options in the area.

Clarendon Square Bed and Breakfast: what do users think?
EVO: Precioso hotel boutique en zona residencial cerca del Prudential Center. Tanto la habitación como las zonas comunes están decoradas con un gusto exquisito. Muy cómodo para desplazarse.Su propietario ayuda en todo lo que se le solicita
Mark Taylor: Great small boutique hotel in a fantastic area of Boston. Felt like we were "part of the neighborhood" with short walks to great restaurants, bars and coffee shop. short and easy walk to Copely and Newbury areas. Quiet rooms and quiet common areas made us feel like we were the only guest in the location. location, location location and a great brownstone and comfortable quiet rooms makes this hotel a unique and memorable place to stay in boston. will definitely book again.Nearby activities: short walks to newbury and copelyWalkability: easy to walk to many attractions in bostonFood & drinks: great local pubs, restaurants and coffee shops, all part of the neighborhood fabric
Laura D: This weekend marked my 5th time staying at Clarendon over the years! There’s simply nowhere like it in the city. The rooftop jacuzzi and its unreal views create an unmatched experience, the location on a charming street in the beautiful South End is wonderful with excellent restaurants nearby, and the brownstone setting is lovely with well-maintained and comfortable rooms to boot. Looking forward to our next stay already. Many thanks for a great visit!
Alison Connelly: A 2 night birthday weekend in Boston spent at the Clarendon was superb! From the complimentary b-day cake and bottle of champagne to the beautifully decorated and good size bedroom, it was a wonderful experience. The street is beautiful, very quiet and a quick walk to everything. My only hesitation, and this was my issue not theirs, was the stairs. Like all beautiful old building there was not an elevator that I could see. My over 50, arthritic hip found the stairs a challenge. But once up in the room it was heaven.
Liz Sanderson: Please choose Clarendon Sq. Stephen’s approachable, accommodating spirit encouraged me: sr solo female traveler on first visit to Boston’s south end. For sure will book again.

Adam Clark: Everything was as expected and mostly above expectations from reading through the website and other reviews. Great location for a walk or cheap ride to all the main sites in the city. We met Stephen at the property where he was gracious and informative offering ideas and locations to fill any time we had in our weekend schedule. We will 100% be staying at the Clarendon again, it's almost like staying at your own or a family members flat on the edge of the city.
Dorothy Glover: Comfortable bed, amazing shower, hot tub was the perfect temperature, easy check in. Would highly recommend!Do keep in mind there’s lots of stairs, so if you don’t want to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs don’t stay here. Will definitely be back!
Lee Rubin: Rooms: Clean and high quality. Better than what youd get at a regular chain. Owner is very nice. There are.Stairs to get to room though so not great for those with mobility issues. Doesn't actually have breakfast minus some oatmeal available. Parking lot is biggest disadvantage. It's a bit far (7 minute walk with luggage in the cold is rough) so best for people who are packing light. And it's sketchy to park there at night so best drop all baggage and park during the day!
Hannah Johnston: Truly a gem of a bed and breakfast! So much charm and in the most convenient spot. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.
Leland Zak: Stephan is very approachable, super accommodating, friendly, fair, and nice. Winnie does an excellent job at keeping the entire space presentable, clean and safe. The rooms are perfect, the location is easy, parking is easy, the price is affordable, and the list goes on. We will be going back and highly recommend.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Linda Behnke: Great location as well as a beautiful setting. Steven was very helpful on things to do and places to eat. Lisa Strickland: Looking for an exquisitely appointed room on a quiet, beautiful street in Boston within steps of all that Back Bay has to offer? That's exactly what we found in Clarendon Square B&B. Our host was exceedingly attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Every touch in the room, from fresh flowers to Molton Brown toiletries to down pillows, was designed to make us feel pampered and rested, even after a long day working or touring the city. Each detail reflected the love the owners have for their beautiful home and the interest they have in providing a great experience for their guests. We hope to stay there again when we return to Boston.
HCP VIDEO: Immaculate venue! Great communication and directions. The roof top hot tub is a dream! First time to Boston and if I am ever this way again for sure I’ll be checking this out first!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jinny Park: Great Boston neighborhood and the place was really clean and well done.We loved it! Thank you :)
Aude Serra: This is a beautiful property, very classy and with a lot of style. It's located in quiet neighborhood.Stephen (our host) was very welcoming. Thank you for the little attentions, it was a real pleasure. The rooftop hot tub was great.Loved it and for sure we would stay there again.Would highly recommand Clarendon Square Inn.
Natalie Packer: We have just returned from a 6 night stay in Clarendon Square - this is one beautiful property! The bedrooms and lounge area (for guests to use) are beautifully styled and very classy. Stephen was an excellent, very welcoming host and was very helpful with providing recommendations for places to visit, restaurants to eat in etc. The rooftop hot tub was great. One of the things that really makes your stay here are the little touches including luxury toiletries, flowers and cookies. It is in a really nice part of town and not too far to walk into the main part of Boston. Would highly recommend Clarendon Square Inn.
GILOU: Excellent accueil de Stephen. B&B idéalement placé dans un quartier très agréable. A recommander sans hésiter !
John C: We really enjoyed our stay at Clarendon Inn! My husband and I celebrated our twentieth anniversary in Boston and chose it because of the romance factor. It’s not a bed and breakfast, however, they do set out some snacks each day and offer a great coffee set up in your room. They also offer a good list of close-by food options. The room was beautiful! The hot tub was unforgettable! The host was really nice and knowledgeable. I would say if you have mobility issues this might not be the best for you as far as lots of steps.
Michael Rogers: In town for work and wanted an out of the experience in a central location near amazing restaurants. Clarendon Square is beautifully appointed on a quiet quintessential Boston street and super comfortable. Will definitely stay here again!
