CityGolf Boston: what do users think?
James Gardiner: Excellent facilities and staff. 10/10.
Mark N: In town on business and have an itch to play, so I google golf, and this place shows up. Quick call and set up an hour on the sim. It’s a chill place with a great vibe. No clubs, no problem….come on in, we got ya is the feel from the get go. Gary is the owner, very hands on, easy going, and knowledgeable about the mechanics of a golf swing. I hadn’t booked a lesson, but Gary spent an inordinate amount of time in small doses stopping by the bay to analyze what was happening in a constructive/positive way. Thanks guys, I’ll be back on the next layover.
Eric Schilling: Can I give this 6 stars? Welcoming staff, state of the art golf simulator software, and convenient location. I grabbed 30 minutes on the simulator on a less busy weekday. I was allowed to start a few minutes early and even given the option to stay a bit longer if I wanted. The folks there couldn't have been more accommodating. Look forward to visiting again soon.
Jeff laforest: Just finished lesson two and I can really see a difference! My first lesson was with Chris, he gave me three specific things to work on. He was very good about not loading me up with too much at once. The second with Gary also made three set-up changes and we started working on swing path. And my over the top rushed shot that equaled a slice has been changed into a in to out draw. I now understand how to shape shots although it is still a work in progress. Both were very good at explaining what I was doing wrong, how to correct it and what I was trying to accomplish. Looking forward to lesson three and taking it to the course!
Michael Breitstein: Amazing facilities, amazing value, amazing customer service. Can't beat it if you're looking to get better at golf.
John Breslin: I decided to join the Simulator league they offer, for my own sanity during the cold months. It's a terrific facility run by some really great people! I would also recommend to anyone who wants to get lessons and improve their game
Brian Weathersbee: Alert: Boston Tourists here. I had a few hours to kill. I was walking around and found this place. I enjoy golf, but have never had a “real” lesson other than buddies on the course giving me some feedback. Bill Peck didn’t try to reconstruct my game but game me a few take aways. Then I got in the simulator on my own and worked on the take aways. What a great experience. I had a blast and I’m positive my game will improve. Waiter Position & Pitchers Mount will forever be in my brain, thanks Bill
Patrick Henning: I would not go back here. I reserved a simulator for myself and the rest of my typical foursome before the start of the season last year, so we could warm up before our first round on the course. When we got there the person working the counter decided that since there were four of us, he would put us in the 'big' simulator room. It was bigger but not big enough. Those of us not swinging a club had to squeeze ourselves to the back wall to avoid the club. Not to mention the first swing a friend took with his driver smashed it into a post that was concealed behind a curtain. None of us took true full swings after that for fear that our clubs would be broken or bent. The simulators worked well enough I guess, but I've seen others that work much better than these. After we finished our hour in the simulator, we walked back out front to the reception desk. There was no one there. We waited a couple minutes and decided that since we had prepaid, that we were most likely all set for that reason and we were respectful of our time slot.Half an hour later while we were down the street having a beer, I received a voicemail from CityGolf stating that I HAD to come back in order to 'check out' and that if I did not return that he would 'elevate this up to his manager'. I went back into the business and checked out. I apologized and explained our thinking, that we had paid already and there was no one at the desk, so we figured we were fine to go. Rudely he responded that he was giving a lesson in another of the simulators and questioned why I did not go about the place looking for someone to finish up our session. I explained that i did not feel it was my responsibility as the consumer to look all over their business looking for employees, where it seems more typical that if there was a procedure for checking out, they should have mentioned it when we checked in, or to simply have someone at their front desk during business hours. Regardless, I thanked him and left.We were VERY disappointed with the service and the facilities of the place. Frankly it's expensive for the lackluster facilities, and considering that some of the simulator rooms don't even have enough room for someone to take a full swing with a driver. Seems like it defeats the point of going to a simulator. Will not be going back.
David W: Great way to keep your game sharp year round
전동한: I've really enjoyed two and a half months in there!! Everyone is really kind and gentle. I will never forget that time. Thank you for teaching me and see you someday in the future if we can thank you :) and Bill you are the best!! I really appreciate you.- Donghan Jeon
Dale Koppel: In a matter of two summer sessions, Gary has taken me from a total neophyte (at age 70!) to someone who has confidence on the course and absolutely loves golf. He is patient, funny, motivating, and totally understanding of how I learn and what I need in order to make consistent progress. I am thoroughly addicted to golf AND CityGolf.
Dave H: Still going to lessons but I can't express how much it has improved my golf swing. Like several people have said, it now feels more natural and repeatable. GREAT SCHOOL!
Jeffrey Williams: Gary has helped me for years now. The facility is easily accessible and has friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have a great selection of the latest gear and are always available for advice on what products to get. The bottom line is that this place is great for lessons and will help you to shed strokes off of your handicap!

Big Sticks Golf: what do users think?
Timothy Comier: First time at a simulator. Lots of fun. Definitely better than swinging a club in the garage!
Stella Lee: Terry is the best! He is such an enthusiastic instructor, very knowledgeable and super nice :) We highly recommend him and Big Sticks!
David Stein: Absolutely loved my experience here. Terry is super nice and has a clear knowledge of the game and how to analyze your swing. I got a pack of 3 lessons and would absolutely do another set of 3. He knows exactly how to diagnose your shot, and the technology in the facility really enables him and the other members there to diagnose any issue in your swing.
Jen H: Highly recommend it!!
Ian Wallace: I had my first lesson in about 6 years here and Terry was phenomenal. He was able to analyze my swing, give me areas where I need adjustment and practice, and he even sends you videos taken in the lesson with audio overlay in which he reinforces and reminds you parts of the swing that need focus. 10/10 would recommend and I cannot wait to see how this lesson translates into my golf game in the future. I will be back.
Rose Shea: My son has lessons with Steve Caruso during the off seaso here. Trackman tech is a great tool to improve the game@
Greg Saidnawey: Great spot to practice in the off season, Terry and staff are always friendly and welcoming.
Donald McInnis: Great place to practice hitting golf balls in the winter and being able to see all the stats & ball flight. T. Felty is a top golf instructor. Has 2 simulators to play 18 holes on.
Ari Seitelman: Terry's great and the technology they use to help you see your swing and make adjustments is very helpful. As a golf novice I found the beginner lessons to be very helpful. Would certainly recommend.
Scott Guidi: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueEquipment and venue are everything you need to improve your game, but Terry brings a level of expertise that brings it to a new level. Highly recommend Big Sticks Golf.
William McGunigle: Great place and state of the art equipment! Top notch!! Terry keeps it fun and enjoyable, I was a member for a couple years but I moved away! Miss it!
Gino Tomasetti: Great facility and just like everyone else is saying Terry is a fantastic and highly knowledgeable instructor.
Jay Yun: Uniquely nice indoor golf practicing place in Boston.
Tiani Jones: Awesome facility and instructors
Brett Nault: By far the best indoor golf facilty in/around the Boston area.Terry and his staff are outstanding!
H Parikh: My daughter has shown significant improvement in her golf swing.
Richard Carle: Terry is a professional. I have learned more about the correct swing for me in a few lessons than I learned in years of lessons from others.
Rodmen Hill: Great place to practice. Terry Felty is a great golf instructor.
Jon Crowther: 3 Lessons in and Terry has been great. He's committed to teaching you the right elements of a great swing.
Jeffrey Bogosian: This is the best golf center around! I go there in the winter to keep my skills sharp and work out the kinks in my game. They have a computerized driving range to practice on and if any problems in your swing show up they have a swing recording area so you can watch your swing in slow motion and identify whats wrong. Just using these alone has helped my game tons, to say nothing about the lessons. Terry is a great teacher and whether you go once or weekly always has great advice. Plus playing the Pro courses on the simulator isn't a terrible thing either. I would highly recommend Big Sticks to any level golfer!
Sam Kim: The owner and instructor, Terry, is fantastic. My handicap was between 15 and 20, but this year it's been around 30. He analyzed my shot's strength and weakness at the first lesson. Finally, I got great results from him. He is the best teacher and the prices for each lesson and facilities are very reasonable.

GOLFTEC Needham: what do users think?
Carolyn Cappuccino: Bought a pack of lessons for my sons birthday. Incredibly difficult to schedule lessons with Dillon (who apparently admitted he wasn't great responding). My kid was never able to schedule all the lessons unfortunately. Waste of $$$
Jake Cabrera: Chris Rogers has been my coach since the beginning and I have enjoyed watching my game steadily improve with his teachings for the past couple years. I went from high 20s handicap with rounds over 100 to a current 15 handicap shooting rounds in the mid to high 80s. It's been a fun experience and I look forward to continue improving my game with Chris at golftec.
Felix Eric Ramos: Very professional staff and process. Jeff Czerwinski was really knowledgeable, helpful, professional. The videos they capture show incredibly insightful data and being able to review it on-demand, not only with the pro but on my own time, is a huge help and differentiates GolfTec from most typical pro's. GolfTec Needham is a convenient location as well -- just outside of Boston, right off the highway. I will certainly be back.
Chad Dunn: If you are a visual learner this will em enjoyable and useful. For me it's easier to see what to do rather than have it described. You can access all your videos, drills and notes on the app to practice.
Qi Li: Brendan was excellent in pointing out the issues with my swing using visuals and data points that are clear and easy to understand. He didn't make the technology overwhelming and focus on meaningful drills that are easy to follow. I am a 20 handicap player looking for consistency. Brendan was very friendly and supportive. No sales pressure. With a few drills that I need to work on now I would certainly consider lesson packages down the road from Brendan. Thank you guys.
Kerry Finn: Great session as usual with Brendan.....
Matt DeJohn: Best staff around, great hitting bays.
Sam Raymond: I went in for a swing analysis and agree with the other comment on here about being to "salesy" to early. There were still a lot of questions to be answered about my swing and after 30min they were already pushing lesson packages on me. Also, when I received the video from our session, the audio was all messed up and you couldn't hear the verbal notes which are most important.May be good for a fitting but not good for swing analysis. Have a feeling they will push product the whole time.
dolatron: This is a great center with very helpful PGA Professionals and decent equipment. I never got the hard sell that the other reviewer mentioned and have only had good experiences with the folks that work there.
Steve Kim: Let me first say the golf pro was great. He quickly identified my swing issues and provided a drill that will lead to more enjoyable golf. However, I disagree with GolfTEC’s advertising and charging $95 ($125 normally) for 60 minute of swing diagnosis and only to provide 40 minutes of diagnosis before going into sales pitch for the last 20 minutes. I don’t blame the pro for this. My problems is with GolfTEC's sales process. I believe if you advertise 60 mins, then you should provide 60 mins, not 40 mins. They can always try and sell after fulfilling the promised hour. Also, I didn’t appreciate the pressure sales tactics. When I said let me sleep on $1145 (10 lessons, 3 months of video practice pass, and TECfit) program, their pressure tactics (had to buy it while I was in the store) of special price of 5 lessons, 3 months of video practice pass, and TECfit for $750 was presented. This is not how you build a relationship with customers.I rated 2 out of 5 because I like the pro and believe in the technology behind GolfTEC. I simply don’t agree with their sales tactics.

GOLFTEC Burlington: what do users think?
Kurt C: If you want game improvement , this place is a must go!I had Todd Smith as my coach in 2016-2018 and he was nothing but great! I highly recommend him. If it wasn’t for his outstanding teaching abilities I would still be struggling to break 100. Now I score in the mid 80s and still till this day I am constantly improving. Golf tech provides you with the best technology around and you get to keep all your saved lessons so you can go back and watch them at anytime.
tom P: Steven was very professional, and helped me literally get a better grip on my golf game.
Adam Lavery: Please, don't waste your money!Golftec sells it's method by stressing analytics and claiming state of the art equipment. Simulators are everywhere these days and they all have the same information. And, if the guy running the lesson doesn't explain the target numbers, or perhaps doesn't understand the information, these numbers are irrelevant. Their video quality is so slow and poor, it more often than not missed crucial parts of my swing. My phone would've been more useful. The bottom line is, these are not coaches. They are guys that like to play golf and wanted a way to make money when not golfing. They use a couple of gimmicks, and send you off with links to online videos. You pay 1 hour prices for 30 minutes, and there is no investment in your progress. When I started my lessons, I told them I wanted two things. I wanted a practice plan, so when on the range I'd be practicing with purpose. I also wanted to build the foundation of a good swing, and I didn't mind a setback in scoring. I wasn't looking for miracles. I got neither. My first coach was COMPLETELY disinterested in our lessons. I'm not saying he was always hungover, but he acted like he was. He'd sip coffee and wander out of the room for half the time. Once, I drove all the way there, on his schedule, for a lesson. He came in the room and asked if I'd rather just practice on my own. I asked for a different teacher. The next guy wasn't any better. It was summed up when, after working together for a couple months, he asked "is that your normal ball flight?". Shouldn't you know that after "coaching" me for 2 months? It's like these guys have never even been coached, never mind have the credentials to do the coaching. Biggest regret of my golf career.
Andrey Zarur: This is a great facility. The instructors are amazing. Todd Smith is highly recommended.
Gary Ainsworth: This review is way over due. Coach Casey Walsh is a great teacher. He consistently found a way to explain concepts, even though my game is well over 30 years in the making. Typical of a man of a certain age, my game was getting shorter and less consistent. Casey patiently help me rebuild my game, deconstructing and reconstructing around basics, best practices, and physical ability. With humor, firmness, and nuanced observations, Casey is a gifted teacher and coach. At first suspicious, and now a true believer, give GolfTec Burlington a try.
Rene Hallmark: Excellent facility and instruction

McGolf: what do users think?
Eric Brodie: A great place to hit some balls, open all year with coin-operated heaters available in partially covered stalls for hitting in the dead of winter. Open pretty late in the summer with a lighted field, too!
dan: Great! Love the automatic ball setup.
Jeffrey Osborne: Beautifully landscaped, Reasonably priced and fun!
Jimmy: Great driving range, good technology for hitting bays. Good distance and markers. Also very well maintained. Mini golf here is fantastic. Every hole was very fun and had the perfect balance of difficulty and ease. The fish in the pond were cool too. I even saw some ducks! They also have ice cream that is really cool. We brought our own clubs but they supply clubs if you need some. Great place to go overall.
Sr. Marlyn Monge: Wonderful family friendly atmosphere
Mark Depasquale: Staff is excellent, well run and price for a bucket of balls is reasonable.
dan crowley: A personal favorite very close freindly staff only downside is i wish they had a bigger bucket option one isnt enough and two is just too much other than that great range
Tom Kenneally: The most beautiful driving range in all the land. Auto load balls hoppers make me feel like i'm a kid playing paintball again. #hotfire Seriously a tremendously amazing place to hit a bucket (or a few)!
Parker Bower: Love the shakes
Devin Perry: Tight bays- packed like sardines$7 more bucks u get more balls better targets @ KohrOwner scolded me for asking for help with the hopperDecent spot, short porch-if you can carry 250 it’s gone so not really helpful for big hitters
timboscoops: Nice practice facility/ driving range for the price. Been coming here for years love that they added covered bays with heat and Toptracer. TopTracer seems to be a bit off/ inaccurate by short 1-10% of your actual yardage, needs to be recalibrated. Also the Long Drive game hasn’t worked in about a week…
An It: 3.5 overall. The place is nice, clean, great ambiance, bright lights, covered areas, and is near some great food places. Just based in this is give it a 5.BUT… Price is expensive and there seems to be a lot of variation in how many balls you get. I’ve gotten as low as 43 and as many as 54 in my 10 visits but there should be a standard amount you get if you’re paying a standard price. The automated tee is a nice touch but the tee heights aren’t standardized so one system’s 1 can be another system’s 3. Also automated tee’s can often malfunction a bit causing it to think you’re out of balls and having to hit a button to restart the system and bring each ball up, kind of defeating the purpose. Also the automated system struggles to bring up balls when it has 5 or less left, causing you to think you’re out when you’re not. I’ve seen plenty of empty matts with a random ball in the tee and upon swinging, another one or two will eventually pop out. Plus not all of matts have automated systems.Provided drivers are absolute garbage. I don’t have this issue because I’ve got clubs but I took a couple friends with me for their first time swinging a club and I was shocked how bad and broken they are. Most aren’t even straight. For $10 a bucket and the kind of volume they get, they can do better… at least toss or fix your crooked clubs rather than handing them out. Honestly I’d give this place higher if it wasn’t for how terrible the clubs were on two separate occasions. It just shouts that they’re interested only in money at any cost. Not a great look.I usually go to stone meadow which is a 10-12 min drive as opposed to here unless I’m also going to be doing some shopping or grabbing food in this area. Stone meadow has a much better value for the range (it’s almost half as expensive). Buckets here should honestly be $8. On the plus side, they’ve got a rewards punch card that brings the price of the buckets down but that’s only after 18 buckets which is $180. Other places reward you similar amount of balls for spending 60% of the cost.
Kevin Keene: I'd say it's a fun place to go if you wanna have fun with your buddies or kids but it's not a place for serious golfers who want some quality practice. It was very noisy and there were too many people with poor golfing etiquette so too many stops and starts and distractions. The balls, ball feeder and mats are in pretty good condition though the distance on the balls is very restricted. I'm a low handicap golfer and practicing here would not help my game.
M Lee: Went here for my birthday last night. The course was fun, loved the fish and turtles! A few things though:-parked next to a dirty tampon in the parking lot so obviously moved spots only to take a few more steps to come across a dirty diaper, band aid and baby wipe.-that's probably because the bathrooms were drenched in piss and barely usable.-the entire establishment is run by literal children. I didnt see a single employee over the age of 16.McGolf gets a three star rating as redemption because of these 2 particular holes (pictured):ENJOY!
Salvatore Albano: Great prices and clean, pleasant facility
Vatsal Mehta: And a bunch of friends play the mini golf section at this place. The location is very convenient to access and the have many puts (if I’m not wrong I think there are 18 of them). The level of difficulty is a different for each challenge and ascends slowly which is a great way for everyone to learn more about the game and improvise along. A fun outdoor activity to explore in the summer.
Jay Levinson: Driving range with tons of bays, mini golf, members practice area and ice cream..
Mr CST: We have a special needs child that is legally blind and 100% deaf and we had a blast... We had so much fun we are coming back here this Sunday to do a night game.
Lucas Kim: Decent driving range but it can get very crowded especially after 5PM. Majority of the times I have to wait until other cars leave the lot
Max P: Well designed and fun range that strikes me as a solid date spot- $10 for a small bucket of balls, plus food options Ike grilled cheeses and chicken tenders, and a creamery- I got the raspberry ripple which as A+. As for the range itself, I found the Power Tee bays to be quite useful especially with practicing my driver (it automatically tees up the next shot for you). There are also a bunch of bays in the shade if you forgot your sunscreen.
Dennis Johnson: Good outing with granddaughter, she enjoyed herself and I got some practice in

KOHR Golf Center: what do users think?
Cook Welch: Lots of targets to aim at.
Aurora Simpson: Nice place. People are very friendly.
Justin Rumrill: My best friend was visiting from Liverpool for a month in June of 2022 and I wanted to surprise him with a 2 person lesson. Our lesson which was scheduled for June 27th was cancelled due to weather which is understandable. Since July of 2022 I’ve reached out to the golf instructor multiple times to reschedule the lesson or receive a refund. After NINE months of no response from the instructor, I gave up and reached out to the main office for a refund. Very disappointing and I will never give this place my business again.
Brian Lewin: Great practice facility with bunker and target greens. Trackman range is awesome. Well worth the extra price of a bucket. Wish more of the practice facility were available to non-members. Mats were recently replaced. Very hard to find tees (it is a driving range afterall!) Great junior programs and instructors, but often times the juniors seem to overrun the place. Need more parking!
kabir anand: Love this place! Come here all the time!!! Amazing range with amazing facilities and tracking!
M H: This could be the best golf driving range in Massachuestts.Bring the family & kids. Great time.
W K: I think this is an anomaly but this was my first bad experience here. The mat on Bay 13 was pretty bad as there was an incline and you could see the variations in height making it tough to dial in my clubs which make using the Trackman useless. Hoping to see the mats replaced soon.
Andrea Chambers: I really like this driving range - very updated and well kept and they are always out there picking up the balls. It's also nice you can track where you hit your ball with your phone. The price is a little more than other ranges in the area, but for how nice the range looks, it is worth it!
Dr. Böhm: Nice location and greens to aim for but no numbered range markers. 4.5 stars
Daniel 57: Easant and helpful staff and nice setup on the driving range. Prices for buckets of balls are competitive with other places.
Patrick McKenna: Both my fiancé and I love it here. We love our coach Brandon and couldn’t be happier. Highly suggest this place as one of the top in Massachusetts.
Nick O'Brien: Beautiful range, great facilities, and the tracking is awesome. The only complaint is that the buckets are smaller than advertised. I got 75 balls in my medium bucket and 45 in a small.
Bobby Keane: Worst place I could ever pick to go to a range. I’d rather go mini golfing the people who work there are as smart as a piece of toast.
Matthew Jackson: Awesome golf range in terms of target greens and state of the art tech (Track Man) to track your shots. Rather than going to the range and guessing how well you hit it, you are getting actual data on each club that you take out of your bag. It's on a different level to average ranges. Mike and his team are also very friendly.
Ken Hunt: Layout and Trackman are terrific. The tee box mats ware horrible. One they are so spongy to stand on, two the rubber tees are too short or too tall, three the mats are torn up and there is no place to put your own tee. Mats should look pristine like the 5 star range you want it to be.
sean w: best driving range i’ve ever been to
Jack de Jong: Without a doubt the most beautiful and well kept driving range I have ever seen. But, the facilities aren’t what make this place so special. From the friendly and inviting ball sales staff to the talented coaches, this place puts country clubs to shame. If you want to advance your game of golf, at any level, this is the place for you. The absolute best!
Andrew London: Nice place to hit, but it’s ridiculous to try and get a lesson. Typically it’s 2 to 3 weeks out and some instructors are 7 weeks out! What’s the point when you’re trying to fix something now. Get some staff that’s there more often.
Saad Thabit: Awesome driving range, the best in the area
Kelly “Outside” Getchonis: I love the driving range! The people that work here are so nice. Always smiling and so polite.
Rob Rains: Totally fun outdoor mini-golf experience!
