Kay Bae: So I will start by saying I’ve been going to this gas station for a very long time, hell I use to work in the auto shop next door to it and know the people very well. I have been going there the last few weeks and noticed that the gas arrow was not going up. I thought it was the gas prices going up, maybe the car I had, and then today I held the pump out of the tank only to see no gas coming out. I asked for the phone number to the manager only to get a busy signal. Be careful hard times cause people to do messed up things. Fair warning to all who go here!

Charlie DeWolfe: i decided to try this place because I’ve had my inspection done here a couple times and it had been a good experience. I brought my car in for an oil change and a tune up. They couldn’t tell me how much it would cost before they assessed what needed to be done for the tune up, which I can understand. I got a call 4 hours later saying it was ready for pick up, so they did all the work without ever telling me how much it would cost. almost $400 later… $120 for parts, $160 for labor and $80 for an oil change, plus tax. Lesson learned

Richard Meyer: I pulled in to ask if I could use the men's room and the gentleman...lol told me that they had no public restrooms. I have to assume that unless you're dropping $500 or for their "service" you're out of luck. In my opinion if you don't have the decency to help someone with a medical condition that REQUIRES them by law (which would have required nothing of him)while you're doing absolutely nothing except stuffing your face. What does that say about you as a person??I think that some of these other reviews say it all.
Antonio: Do not come here. I heard a noise in my Subaru and brought it to these guys. They charged me $1300 for a wheel bearing and brakes. 2 months later I went to Fran's with the same issue, fed up. Fran replaced the wheel bearing, said it was junk, and told me to get my money back. Do not come here. Go to Fran's instead!!!

Amazon Grows: Just like other folks have stated, the service here is really poor. Had a short Mexican looking gentleman with glasses refuse to serve me because I didn’t get an ID out fast enough for his likings. When I asked what his name was, he refused to say and replied with some racist comments. I guess I get why he’s so bitter in a way. I’d probably be bitter too if I was a middle aged “man” with no future and my life’s work equaled out to just being some pathetic cashier who is barely tall enough to see over the counter. There’s a gas station just a bit further up N Harvard for everyone. Lower prices, pumps that actually work and employees who act respectfully.
Keely: About 50% of the pumps are out of service the last few times I went here (several weeks apart each time) and it seems to be a spot where in the middle of the day young ppl come right up to you as you are trying to put your card in the machine for gas and ask you for cash. I’m sympathetic to ppl going through life, and they don’t have to lie (no car there) to get some money…but this was at 4pm and the proximity of the ppl asking made me very uncomfortable bc I was essentially pinned to my car.Im not saying these people had any negative motives but the fact that I saw them doing the same thing to other people as well, and it happening more than once, means this location is not monitored by the employees in a way that ensures people’s safety. This could just as easily be someone committing robbery or this could convert to robbery and there is no awareness or intervention by the business to make people feel safe while they are trying to pay at the pump.

A staff member by the name Terrel will make your money's worth and give you the best gift of all... anxiety, anger, stress and lights up a match just to fire up that gasoline lol.. Today with such a busy day at work, I come in for gas but Terrel felt it would be fun to hold off on releasing the magical button in order for me to pump the gas I PAID for...just bc he gets a kick out of it as he stated. It took me almost 30 minutes to get GAS because his "joke" went too far to the point he didn't know how to undo whatever he did. This is the type of business they run here. Fun right?Extreme lack of customer service and professionalism. No cares in the world. Staff is always on their phones talking while trying to assist you if and when they feel like it. Thankfully I recorded the encounter since I felt unsafe and disrespected and will follow up with the chain of command in that district so they can see how disgusting their staff is and where the problem lays.

T B: Do not do your business here!I went there with a broke alternator, they pushed me parts that I didn’t needed before identifying the real problem. Installing those parts that I didn’t needed they broke my clock spring as well. They never fixed what they broke and I had to went to a different shop to get the alternator and the parts they broke fixed.

Nick Hayes: Some of the highest gas prices in this part of the city; do not go here. There is a Cumberland Farms a few minutes south of here, go there instead. Gas is usually a full dollar cheaper per gallon there.
Jae Lawrence: After spending $60 to fuel up at the pump I requested a receipt at the pump which gave instructions to get from the clerk inside.I get to the door which was locked and saw the clerk busy on her phone stating something about her break and she went back to her phone as though I wasn't there.I knocked on the window several times each time being ignored until I forcefully tried to open the door.She finally decided to get up and bring me my receipt continuing telling me about her being on break pointing to her small handwritten sign in the window.Two issues need to be addressed:::1 the ability to get a receipt at the pump and 2 the conduct of this employee.I have a right to get a receipt anytime for any expenses.The date was February 9 at 5:26 pm but further I will continue to take my business elsewhere if that is the kind of customer service offered at that location.

Jimmy Kadesch: AVOID. Do not get your car serviced here, you will be ridiculously overcharged. (I can't say anything as far of the quality of the mechanic's work, as I just got my car back). I never write reviews and never want to argue with people, but the owner of this place really made me feel the need to write this. He refused to acknowledge the incorrect quantity of parts on the itemized receipt, making up excuse after excuse. His son was also working in the store and I showed him on my phone how much I was being overcharged. He seemed to agree with me, but his father was quick to tell him to stay out of it lol. I typically go to the Firestone on Comm Ave., and have never had any issues whatsoever, but I needed this fixed for work, and firestone had no openings for a few days. Again, this owner is unbelievable. Basically held my car hostage lol. I ended up overpaying, just to get my car back and get out of there. Happy Holidays!!!!

Trae Pina (Sgt. Forge): Not only is the gas unreasonably expensive, I stopped to get ONE gallon just so I could get to Costco the next day, and nobody inside ever authorized my pump. Nathan Loyer: I haven't figured out how to add this to the location on google maps, but know that their business hours for the repair shop differ from the gas station. For the repair shop the hours are 8am-6pm (mon-fri), 8am-2pm (sat), closed (sun).As for an actual review, it's fine. I mostly get gas here because it is convenient for me. Gas quality seems fine. The store has a very meager selection of snacks and drinks. The interior is somewhat dingy. I usually get my state inspection here too and the service for that is good.

Jens Peterson: Adams St Motors in Dorchester sent our car here several times after we bought it, and we're still dealing with issues months later. Poor communication and customer service. Took them forever to diagnose and correct problems. They used cheap parts that weren't compatible with the car and prolonged the issues. They also ignored our concerns about the catalytic converter while the car was still under warranty, and now that the warranty's up we found out we need a new one. Disappointing.

He told me I can drop it off and he will let me use a car so I can get to work. I got there early and he offered me a vehicle but I told him I can wait. He was a bit backed up but he stopped what he was doing and he and his employee started working on my vehicle. I was not expecting such quick and great service but it was amazing. On top of it all he even cleaned my tires.Fast forward a few weeks my mother needed a flex pipe to be fixed for inspection. Once again I called Aymen and once again he gave me a great quote. I took her car, he provided me with a vehicle to get to work. Once I got off of work the car was ready to go. I would continue to use this location for any vehicle services.
